In 2001, Walker Art Center curator Joan Rothfuss had a light bulb moment. Not about a visual artist. But about an experimental cellist, Charlotte Moorman, now mostly forgotten. But Rothfuss would try to right that wrong with her sudden inspiration: She would write Moorman’s biography. Here’s Britt Aamodt.
