- 0:00Speaker 1: Thanksgiving leftovers. It's one more thing, I'm strong andy, one
- 0:04Speaker 1: more thing and perhaps our laziest one more thing, And
- 0:10Speaker 1: that's saying something. I'm just gonna go through a whole
- 0:14Speaker 1: bunch of screen captures on my phone of stuff, just
- 0:16Speaker 1: like random stuff that I found interesting enough to screen
- 0:19Speaker 1: capture but haven't gotten to over the last week and
- 0:22Speaker 1: a half or so.
- 0:22Speaker 2: This is Pope Parrie. This is the fruits of your labors.
- 0:29Speaker 3: This is showing that you didn't even take a break
- 0:31Speaker 3: while we were on break.
- 0:32Speaker 1: This is the spice of life. That is variety, anti lazy.
- 0:37Speaker 1: So I had tweeted out that I was unhappy with
- 0:44Speaker 1: the fortune I got at Panda Express, and just for
- 0:46Speaker 1: years and now, fortunes have not been fortunes. You know,
- 0:50Speaker 1: fortune should be you're going to meet a man with
- 0:52Speaker 1: black hair who will be the love of your life.
- 0:54Speaker 1: You know something that's going to come true. The one
- 0:57Speaker 1: that I got at pend Express was express yourself through
- 1:00Speaker 1: art and music. It's just like a declaration to start
- 1:05Speaker 1: ballet or something.
- 1:06Speaker 2: It's advice. It's an advice cookie.
- 1:10Speaker 1: From Panda Express too so but so somebody responded to
- 1:13Speaker 1: that with they're never our fortunes anymore. My older son
- 1:17Speaker 1: got one at Panda Express that said keep your expectations reasonable,
- 1:21Speaker 1: which he described as the most Charlie Brown of all
- 1:23Speaker 1: fortune cookie messages. Keep your expectations reasonable? What kind of
- 1:29Speaker 1: who wants to eat and be told that? I find
- 1:33Speaker 1: that hilarious.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Advice Cookies, Yeah.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Thanks a lot for that. Pend Express. You told me
- 1:39Speaker 1: it's not Uh. I always thought it was kind of
- 1:43Speaker 1: like low rent, but you're telling me it's not. It's considered.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Okay, it's yeah, it's decent. Yeah, I enjoy it. I
- 1:50Speaker 2: like our worst choice. I won't pay their advice cookies
- 1:53Speaker 2: really out to say cut down your sodium intake. Yes,
- 1:56Speaker 2: that would be a good one.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Umm.
- 2:01Speaker 1: A South Korean man avoided the draft. They still have
- 2:05Speaker 1: the draft in South Korea avoided the draft by binge eating.
- 2:09Speaker 1: He ate so much when he realized he was about
- 2:11Speaker 1: to be drafted, he gained enough weight that he was
- 2:14Speaker 1: too fat to get drafted. That's a South.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Korea doesn't let super fat people in their military. We do,
- 2:20Speaker 2: don't we, or at least pretty fat.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Another military thing, this one serious. So there was an
- 2:26Speaker 1: article in the Washington Post about our f thirty five,
- 2:28Speaker 1: which is uh, thirty five one of our f's, one
- 2:32Speaker 1: of our super fancy airplanes, and on how it's not reliable.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It's got all kinds of problems with where the guns
- 2:38Speaker 1: are installed, that doesn't work right, and a repair times,
- 2:42Speaker 1: and it's not CyberSecure and it's easy to hack into.
- 2:44Speaker 1: And Elon Musk the rocket genius, replied to that that
- 2:48Speaker 1: you know, because he's doing the whole doge thing and
- 2:50Speaker 1: really looking at the Pentagon, and he said this was
- 2:54Speaker 1: an expensive waste of money and time, complex, jack of
- 2:58Speaker 1: all trades, master of none. Success was never in the
- 3:01Speaker 1: set of possible outcomes. We need to do better. Plus
- 3:04Speaker 1: we should not have manned fighter jets. And the reason
- 3:08Speaker 1: I thought that was interesting is Elon now kind of
- 3:11Speaker 1: in a position where as the rocket scientist looking at
- 3:15Speaker 1: things from the tech perspective, might have some pretty big
- 3:17Speaker 1: influence on this stuff.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I would love to see more out of the box
- 3:21Speaker 2: thinking that direction. Certainly I would too.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Ukrainian confidence in Zelensky at an all time low. He
- 3:28Speaker 1: is down to sixty percent approval in Ukraine. To get
- 3:31Speaker 1: to it.
- 3:32Speaker 2: On the radio show today, he's making unmistakable noises about, hey,
- 3:35Speaker 2: if we have to give up some territory. Let's just
- 3:37Speaker 2: sit down, let's negotiate an end to this.
- 3:39Speaker 1: You talked about this. I was going to get into it. Warnful,
- 3:41Speaker 1: maybe I will on the radio show about and yet
- 3:44Speaker 1: another study that DEI programs actually escalate hostility and racial
- 3:49Speaker 1: tensions in the workplace. I've got all sorts of stuff
- 3:52Speaker 1: on that. Yeah, it's absolutely amazing and not surprising at all.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Oh no, no, especially given the fact that the programs
- 3:59Speaker 2: don't actually aimed to accomplish what they're claiming to accomplish.
- 4:03Speaker 2: It's all a charade. It's a head fake, it's a ruse.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Came across this. I think we've become too woke and
- 4:12Speaker 1: gone too far with a whole bunch of stuff. But
- 4:14Speaker 1: we needed some of this. As recently as nineteen sixty seven,
- 4:18Speaker 1: I saw this picture. This is from the Boston Marathon,
- 4:21Speaker 1: because they had the Boston Marathon the other day. Race
- 4:24Speaker 1: organizers attempt to stop Catherine Switzer from competing in the
- 4:27Speaker 1: Boston Marathon as she became the first woman to finish
- 4:30Speaker 1: the race. They allowed women in, and you had protesters
- 4:33Speaker 1: at the race. These were other runners, guys in their
- 4:37Speaker 1: bibs with the number on them, trying to tackle this
- 4:40Speaker 1: woman to stop a woman from running in a marathon
- 4:44Speaker 1: that was in nineteen sixty seven.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Well, on the other hand, all that bouncing up and
- 4:48Speaker 2: down his bed for their breasts, Jack, it's it's for
- 4:51Speaker 2: their own good. We're keeping the little ladies at home.
- 4:54Speaker 2: It's true.
- 4:55Speaker 1: How crazy is that? In my lifetime, men, I thought
- 5:00Speaker 1: women shouldn't be allowed to run a race?
- 5:03Speaker 2: Right, Well, that's crazy.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Um.
- 5:07Speaker 2: You remember the ad slogan You've come a long way baby.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Of course, that was to sell women on the idea
- 5:12Speaker 2: of you can smoke too and give yourself dread diseases
- 5:15Speaker 2: and die prematurely graduate slogan.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I had all my information on the whole
- 5:20Speaker 1: banana art thing, but we did cover that on the
- 5:22Speaker 1: radio show. It was the six point two million dollar
- 5:26Speaker 1: banana duct taped to the wall was which sold by
- 5:30Speaker 1: a fruit vendor outside for like eighty five cents, and
- 5:32Speaker 1: he somehow feels like he got ripped off, and and
- 5:35Speaker 1: and this tech billionaire who bought then took the banana
- 5:38Speaker 1: down from the wall and ate it so good.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Plight So well, I can't decide if this is AI
- 5:42Speaker 2: or legitimate. But there's a statue of Barack and Michelle Obama.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I think it's in Chicago and somebody stuck the banana
- 5:49Speaker 2: to the front of Michelle unfortunate reference to both that
- 5:55Speaker 2: hot art story and a right wing conspiracy that I
- 5:59Speaker 2: will not dignify.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I was a description that's pretty funny. I love that
- 6:06Speaker 1: so much. I don't know why that is pretty funny.
- 6:09Speaker 2: But again, I don't know if somebody actually did it,
- 6:11Speaker 2: or it's just like somebody created the AI image.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Oh, I took it. She's Scott no Wang No, Michelle
- 6:19Speaker 1: Obama's not.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Move on, move on, move on, move on.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I took a picture at the grocery store in Salina, Kansas,
- 6:28Speaker 1: where I was for Thanksgiving, because they I was in
- 6:33Speaker 1: the over by the produce and stuff and had fresh sushi,
- 6:37Speaker 1: and I took a picture of it, thinking how fresh
- 6:40Speaker 1: could this sushi be? We're seventeen hundred miles from the
- 6:42Speaker 1: notion either direction. Yes, I just wonder about that. Where
- 6:46Speaker 1: did that come from? How did it get here? What
- 6:49Speaker 1: does it taste like? I wondered all those things. Pictures
- 6:53Speaker 1: of my brother at Disney World, oh Ian Bremmer with
- 6:57Speaker 1: the shortest quote that he's ever had in mainstream media,
- 7:01Speaker 1: and it related to the uh Kamala Harris thirty second
- 7:08Speaker 1: video that the Democratic Party put out we played on
- 7:10Speaker 1: the air where she makes no sense and sounds drunk,
- 7:14Speaker 1: And this was from uh NBC. Ian Bremmer, a political
- 7:18Speaker 1: scientist and the president of the Geopolitical Risk Advocacy from
- 7:21Speaker 1: Eurasia Group, simply wrote in response to the Democrats twenty eight.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I thought it was going to be wow or bad
- 7:32Speaker 2: um um?
- 7:34Speaker 3: Yeah, she looked and sounded hammered in that video. Yeah,
- 7:37Speaker 3: because face she looked so rough.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Now, I heard a discussion about this yesterday, and this
- 7:43Speaker 1: is what I've been saying. I would think if she
- 7:45Speaker 1: was a drinker, it would have leaked out some unnamed
- 7:49Speaker 1: source would have said, oh, yes, she's got a drink
- 7:50Speaker 1: in her hand at it ten in the morning. And
- 7:52Speaker 1: nobody has done that.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I disagree. I've heard it a bunch of times. That's
- 7:55Speaker 2: why I brought it up. No, it's not like your
- 7:57Speaker 2: big publication.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Yeah, not in the New York Times of the watch
- 8:00Speaker 1: Rington Post or anything like that. Don't you think somebody
- 8:01Speaker 1: would a knee captor by now, especially after she lost,
- 8:05Speaker 1: wouldn't somebody of a kneecaptor in like mainstream media over drinking.
- 8:09Speaker 2: If that were true, I think if she attempts to
- 8:11Speaker 2: stage a comeback, you might see that. Although again she's
- 8:14Speaker 2: a half wit, she's a dope, she's talentless. That's enough.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Whether she's a drinker or not. We don't even need
- 8:21Speaker 2: to go there.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I did screen capture this picture from Thanksgiving at mar
- 8:25Speaker 1: A Lago that included you got Trump in the foreground.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Then there's Elon Musk talking to Sylvester Salon, and I
- 8:32Speaker 1: just thought, I don't know what that is, but that's
- 8:35Speaker 1: that's some sort of together at last. Yeah, there's the
- 8:40Speaker 1: fruit vendor, an old guy very angry about selling the
- 8:43Speaker 1: banana that ended up being a six point two million
- 8:45Speaker 1: dollar piece of art, and the media was trying to
- 8:47Speaker 1: pretend that that was somehow sort of inequity. Something right
- 8:52Speaker 1: wrong happened there. I'm not exactly sure how that works.
- 8:55Speaker 2: It's still kind of see the effort, but it's idiotic. Yeah, Katie, all.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Right, to go back to this Stallone thing?
- 9:01Speaker 3: Is he?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Are he and Trump close?
- 9:03Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I wasn't aware of that.
- 9:04Speaker 3: He was interviewed on Hannity last night too, so he's
- 9:06Speaker 3: like kind of popping up on all the.
- 9:08Speaker 1: He's not your usual run of the mill cele conservative
- 9:13Speaker 1: that you know about. Do you know Joe was Syvester
- 9:15Speaker 1: Saloon but a closeted conservative.
- 9:17Speaker 2: All these years? Oh? Yeah to some extent? Yeah, Ok.
- 9:20Speaker 2: And he's just a beloved figure I think, kind of
- 9:23Speaker 2: a manly, traditional American guy, which just fits with a
- 9:26Speaker 2: whole vibe.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Costco is going to stop selling books in most US
- 9:32Speaker 1: stores they sell books. Oh you didn't know that he had.
- 9:35Speaker 1: They got a big, big, big, giant table full of books,
- 9:38Speaker 1: and the prices are usually really low for hard popular,
- 9:42Speaker 1: hardcover books. But because people don't buy them and you
- 9:45Speaker 1: didn't even know they were there, and they're so heavy
- 9:48Speaker 1: to move around and take up so much space, they
- 9:49Speaker 1: just aren't going to sell them anymore. So some people
- 9:51Speaker 1: are seeing that as another blow to the whole reading industry.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Are they still going to sell sweats Uncle Jack?
- 9:58Speaker 1: Lots and lots of suff Yes. Bill Clinton reveals he
- 10:02Speaker 1: couldn't sleep for two years and was prone to outburst
- 10:06Speaker 1: of rage after Hillary lost to Trump. In his new memoir,
- 10:09Speaker 1: he says.
- 10:10Speaker 2: What these people are nuts?
- 10:13Speaker 1: He says, I apologize to all who endured my outburst
- 10:16Speaker 1: of rage, which lasted for years and bothered or bored
- 10:18Speaker 1: people who thought it pointless to rehash things that couldn't
- 10:21Speaker 1: be changed. Bill Clinton, of all people, he.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Didn't even look like he had the ability to show
- 10:26Speaker 3: rage when all of that was going on. Remember when
- 10:28Speaker 3: they did that big balloon drop and he looked like
- 10:30Speaker 3: all in awe, staring at the ceiling.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, this was this. I screened apter this just
- 10:37Speaker 1: for our family because we have two pugs. A pug
- 10:40Speaker 1: won a National dog show for the first time.
- 10:42Speaker 2: So great.
- 10:45Speaker 1: She's kind of weird from a you've bred this so
- 10:48Speaker 1: it can't breathe standpoint, and and you know you've developed
- 10:53Speaker 1: an animal that would never occurred on Earth because it
- 10:57Speaker 1: can't breathe.
- 10:58Speaker 2: To quote Ian Bremer. Uh, that's a.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Neat story there, Jack, Okay, Well, we were just excited
- 11:07Speaker 1: because a pug won a show. They never have me
- 11:09Speaker 1: because they're ridiculous looking. They're ugly little dogs.
- 11:11Speaker 2: That's good stuff. Jack.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I took this picture at the airport. They had a
- 11:22Speaker 1: sensory room at the Kansas City Airport. I don't think
- 11:25Speaker 1: I've ever seen one of these in an airport before.
- 11:26Speaker 1: So I walked over and the plaque said this room
- 11:29Speaker 1: provides a safe and calming environment to help guests that
- 11:32Speaker 1: might be feeling overwhelmed. Okay, what the hell is that?
- 11:38Speaker 1: So did you go into the room or did you
- 11:39Speaker 1: just read the black I'm not I just read the plaque.
- 11:41Speaker 1: But is that the modern world where we need a
- 11:43Speaker 1: room for people who are feeling overwhelmed.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I can picture being overwhelmed in an airport. I suppose
- 11:51Speaker 2: you're juggling three kids, your flight just got canceled. It's
- 11:55Speaker 2: hectic and all. But I don't know. That's just that's
- 11:58Speaker 2: what life is. I don't And you're gonna go in
- 12:01Speaker 2: a room? Where are the kid's gonna go? What's it word?
- 12:04Speaker 2: I don't know? Just too much.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Robert F. Kennedy intends to require Coca Cola to begin
- 12:11Speaker 1: using kine sugar instead of high fructose syrup. As HHS secretary.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I'm not sure you have that within your purview, sir,
- 12:18Speaker 2: but I'm willing to have the discussion.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Certainly, can he make a cola company use a certain ingredient?
- 12:24Speaker 1: I mean, it's not hy unless he unless he gets
- 12:27Speaker 1: the government to declare hyproctose corn syrup like a poison
- 12:30Speaker 1: or something.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I wouldn't think, well, right, if he engages in the
- 12:33Speaker 2: sort of regulatory overreach the conservatives regularly criticized. I happen
- 12:37Speaker 2: to agree with him on that one, but that doesn't
- 12:39Speaker 2: mean the government has the power to do it or should.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Oh and on the RFK Junior front, did you see
- 12:43Speaker 1: the ad Cheryl Hines, his wife, who was the you know,
- 12:49Speaker 1: the wife of on Curb your Enthusiasm. That's actually RFK
- 12:53Speaker 1: Junior's wife. She's got to Yeah, I didn't know that.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Oh you didn't. Okay, she has a beauty line out now,
- 13:00Speaker 1: and she put out an ad in which she's standing
- 13:02Speaker 1: in the bathroom in RFK Junior is showering behind her naked.
- 13:07Speaker 1: So that's kind of a weird look for both of them.
- 13:09Speaker 2: That's hot.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Yeah, oh he has yoked, no doubt about it. If
- 13:14Speaker 1: you want to make yourself look less crazy, that wasn't
- 13:16Speaker 1: the way to go about it.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Got my fortune the other day from a Chinese place
- 13:24Speaker 2: said change your oil every five thousand miles.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you, thank you Panda Express Advice. Well, I
- 13:30Speaker 1: guess that's it.
