- 0:00Speaker 1: Fu leg Cap podcast. We have a special guest in here.
- 0:02Speaker 1: My guys album just dropped. He just did that BET
- 0:06Speaker 1: side for y'all saw it. Man, my friend. A lot
- 0:09Speaker 1: of people think that we could be cousins, but we're
- 0:12Speaker 1: indeed not related, not that I know of. Oh t
- 0:15Speaker 1: the real what welcome, sir, welcome, it's good man. First
- 0:19Speaker 1: of all, Man, things been moving. Congratulations on the BT.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Look yeah man, big, big moves real great for me
- 0:26Speaker 1: able to be part of that. How did that whole
- 0:27Speaker 1: thing come about? Like I know you said, Snoop reposting
- 0:31Speaker 1: your shit kind of helped with that, right, Yeah, you know,
- 0:33Speaker 1: we believe, so you know what I'm saying. But you know,
- 0:35Speaker 1: for the most part, we've just been consistently dropping videos
- 0:40Speaker 1: and they've been getting placed on BT, shut Out, Breeze,
- 0:44Speaker 1: connecting the bridges on that making everything connect and yeah,
- 0:48Speaker 1: you know, they hit us up this year and said
- 0:50Speaker 1: come on and here we are today. So for people
- 0:54Speaker 1: who don't know, man, give me a little bit of
- 0:56Speaker 1: your background, because I think a lot of people know
- 0:58Speaker 1: you as like a Philly rapper, even though you're not
- 1:00Speaker 1: necessarily from Philly. Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely, I'm from mass
- 1:04Speaker 1: If you watch some of my other interviews, and shit,
- 1:07Speaker 1: it goes real into like, you know, I left mass
- 1:10Speaker 1: you know, part of my criminal life that I had
- 1:14Speaker 1: when I was younger, and I ended up in Philly
- 1:16Speaker 1: and that's when you know, I went to prison for
- 1:19Speaker 1: a while. When I came home, that's when you know
- 1:20Speaker 1: I started to push the music and uh, yeah, here
- 1:23Speaker 1: we are. How how long were you in prison? Like
- 1:27Speaker 1: five and a half. That's a serious bid, man. Some
- 1:30Speaker 1: would say, uh being like you being a car So
- 1:33Speaker 1: obviously there's like politics are different in all prisons everywhere California.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I believe it's definitely different. Yeah. I think that the
- 1:43Speaker 1: Peckerwoods and the South Siders are together, and then I
- 1:47Speaker 1: think blacks and the others. And what is like when
- 1:51Speaker 1: you were locked up? Because you obviously are a hip
- 1:52Speaker 1: hop artist, you got flavored like do the whites stay
- 1:55Speaker 1: with the whites in prison? Where you were at? Like,
- 1:57Speaker 1: how was like your prison experience? Man? I remember when
- 2:00Speaker 1: I was The first prison I was in was Boston.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I've been in like six joints. The first joint I
- 2:05Speaker 1: was in was was Massachusetts. Was what's the house? He
- 2:09Speaker 1: was just saying, and in what's the house? I remember.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I remember I was. I was seventeen getting tried as
- 2:16Speaker 1: an adult, so I really have no business being in there.
- 2:19Speaker 1: They just they figured they'd keep me for the last
- 2:21Speaker 1: two months till I turned eighteen, so they put me.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I was in population, but I was so young and
- 2:26Speaker 1: so scrawny that nobody bothered me at all. They like,
- 2:29Speaker 1: I looked like your kid. They were like, what the
- 2:30Speaker 1: fuck are you doing here. I remember showing my papers
- 2:32Speaker 1: to people and being like, no, look, I'm seventeen, and
- 2:35Speaker 1: people would be like, yo, see how what the fuck Like, Yo,
- 2:38Speaker 1: you need anything here? Man? They were like looking out
- 2:40Speaker 1: for you. It was like that. That's how it was
- 2:42Speaker 1: in what's the house where I landed at that time.
- 2:44Speaker 1: It wasn't you know, whoever had it under control, It
- 2:47Speaker 1: was under control. It was all right. But I remember
- 2:50Speaker 1: two Irish kids came to my cell, older guys, and
- 2:52Speaker 1: they were like, hey, Bud, you got your paperwork And
- 2:55Speaker 1: I was like, what the fuck is that? You know
- 2:56Speaker 1: what I mean, like all the paperwork from you getting
- 2:58Speaker 1: rested and shit. So I was like, yeah, he said, look,
- 3:01Speaker 1: you know, if you you know, if you got any
- 3:04Speaker 1: problems or anything, you come see us. You know, what
- 3:06Speaker 1: I'm saying for like a black dude or a Puerto
- 3:08Speaker 1: Rican dude, or you go at it with one of them.
- 3:10Speaker 1: You don't go at it with them. You just come
- 3:11Speaker 1: see us and we'll go. And I wasn't having problems
- 3:14Speaker 1: with no one, So I was like all right, you
- 3:15Speaker 1: know what I mean. I was like looking at him,
- 3:17Speaker 1: like the fuck. They're like, yeah, you're good, look at
- 3:19Speaker 1: my paperwork, and left. So I seem like that there
- 3:22Speaker 1: was some type of order, but you know, I didn't
- 3:24Speaker 1: really you know, I had so much other shit going on.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I couldn't really focus on it. But like and then
- 3:29Speaker 1: I remember like hitting the Delaware prison, like the joints
- 3:33Speaker 1: I was in Delaware, Like you weren't allowed to sleep.
- 3:37Speaker 1: What I'm saying, like you couldn't sleep. I seen, I
- 3:39Speaker 1: see some crazy shit down there in Delaware. It's nasty
- 3:41Speaker 1: down there. You could you could do your time in
- 3:43Speaker 1: the prison, or if your short time, you can choose
- 3:46Speaker 1: to go across the parking lot to the VOP Center,
- 3:51Speaker 1: you know, which is a punishment camp. So like there
- 3:55Speaker 1: like boot camp, ta oh yoh, my man. They wake
- 3:57Speaker 1: you up four am, five am, just reading last names.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Put your boots on put your boots on, so that
- 4:03Speaker 1: would like excel your settence. So yeah, it would like
- 4:05Speaker 1: it would be like if you do a program in
- 4:07Speaker 1: the in the VOP center, you know, it might be
- 4:10Speaker 1: like six months less than your two years or something.
- 4:12Speaker 1: So it was worth it. But you weren't allowed to sleep.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Did you do that? You did the VOP. Yeah, but
- 4:17Speaker 1: I had to do VOP because you know, I left
- 4:21Speaker 1: Massachusetts on the run and I went to Delaware, and
- 4:24Speaker 1: I remember I like served the undercover cop and Massachusetts
- 4:27Speaker 1: wouldn't come get me, so Delaware put me on probation,
- 4:30Speaker 1: and probation gets me and they're like, they're like, all right,
- 4:33Speaker 1: you're nineteen. You never finished high school. Go back to
- 4:35Speaker 1: high school. So they put me into high school up
- 4:38Speaker 1: the street from the house that I was trapping out of.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I had my own house, so I was going to
- 4:42Speaker 1: school during the day to appease probation. So you're on
- 4:45Speaker 1: probation trapping out of your own crib at nineteen, and
- 4:48Speaker 1: then Friday night, Friday nights, I had to report to
- 4:51Speaker 1: the VOP center and go to prison from Friday to Sunday,
- 4:54Speaker 1: and I get out Sunday night and go back to school.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Monday morning. So every every weekend they put me on
- 4:58Speaker 1: a different pod because they wouldn't want me to go
- 5:01Speaker 1: back to the same part and bring a pack, you
- 5:02Speaker 1: know what saying, and bring a bomb in, right, So
- 5:04Speaker 1: like people would be dying trying to get me to
- 5:07Speaker 1: bring a bomb in, Like everybody be trying to know
- 5:09Speaker 1: you're a weekend because they had to stay. They were
- 5:11Speaker 1: all doing for people. Don't know what to a bond
- 5:13Speaker 1: that's like drug yeah whatever, Yeah, you know that would
- 5:15Speaker 1: be something to put up your I don't know about that,
- 5:18Speaker 1: you know. I mean, I'm just scared. That's that's how
- 5:22Speaker 1: some cast, some casts might do it. I don't know,
- 5:24Speaker 1: you know, when you're coming in from the streets, you
- 5:26Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I almost got himmed up in
- 5:28Speaker 1: a situation down there one time because of that, because
- 5:30Speaker 1: you had something money and a bunch of week Me
- 5:32Speaker 1: and a bunch of weekenders were all in the cell
- 5:34Speaker 1: and they put us on the cell together, had us
- 5:37Speaker 1: all stripping, like everybody take your shirts off, and I
- 5:39Speaker 1: remember I like, I don't know what happened, but I
- 5:41Speaker 1: heard something hit the ground like that. It wasn't you.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It might have been, but I looked down and there
- 5:47Speaker 1: and there was a bag and ship, and I was
- 5:49Speaker 1: and I'm looking and like no one sees it where
- 5:51Speaker 1: everyone's still getting undressed and ship. So I kind of
- 5:53Speaker 1: step on it through the swipe wow, notices it. And
- 5:57Speaker 1: then when they're cleaning it out, they're like, yo, hold
- 5:59Speaker 1: on what is and all the other weekend to start
- 6:01Speaker 1: ratting on me right away. They're like this fucking young
- 6:03Speaker 1: prick because they're all you know, they're all you know,
- 6:06Speaker 1: they had it with me. I'm going in this small
- 6:07Speaker 1: like straight gas taking living a life. Yeah, like look
- 6:10Speaker 1: at this fucking high school. I'm like a nineteen year
- 6:12Speaker 1: old junior in high school. Jesus, It's like Billy Madison. Yeah,
- 6:16Speaker 1: what a trapper. It was like it was something crazy.
- 6:19Speaker 1: So like we kept getting I kept getting raided, and
- 6:22Speaker 1: you know, there was nothing to do down there, you
- 6:24Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So I was I was hunted
- 6:26Speaker 1: down there in Delaware. You know, I feel like sneaking
- 6:29Speaker 1: a balloon of drugs inside of your orifices of any capacity,
- 6:32Speaker 1: it's just dangerous because what if the bus opened, Like
- 6:34Speaker 1: you ever know somebody, but not even that You're going
- 6:36Speaker 1: in there with your sneakers though. I mean, I'm not
- 6:38Speaker 1: even talk about you. I just mean like you always
- 6:39Speaker 1: hear like like chicks will go visit dudes and like
- 6:42Speaker 1: sneak shit inside of them, Like you know, I'm like,
- 6:44Speaker 1: I wonder if that ever goes left, Like if the
- 6:45Speaker 1: balloon pops open inside of a chick and then she
- 6:47Speaker 1: fucking overdoses. She died. People all the time you heard
- 6:51Speaker 1: of that. I got a homie who tried the stuff.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Half a half ounce a crack in his ass and
- 6:55Speaker 1: he died. Police serious and serious amount of crack to
- 7:00Speaker 1: try to find your book. I'm just saying the amount
- 7:05Speaker 1: of loop needed for that, that's two gay for sure.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It probably just matters how many layers of bag or
- 7:12Speaker 1: in between that, you know, because it's your body's acidic.
- 7:15Speaker 1: You got acids in you. Yeah, it should be like
- 7:17Speaker 1: you should at least it's like when you got to
- 7:19Speaker 1: put it in a corner and like wrap it into
- 7:20Speaker 1: another corner. Right, It's like if you vacuum seal a
- 7:22Speaker 1: pack and put it in the mail, you should at
- 7:24Speaker 1: least do it three times allegedly. I mean, you know,
- 7:26Speaker 1: once you start, once that machine gets the buzzing, you
- 7:29Speaker 1: know you might just do it. You just got to
- 7:30Speaker 1: make sure you get you're good with the poke test.
- 7:32Speaker 1: You know, I don't I wouldn't know anything about that,
- 7:34Speaker 1: but I've heard. I don't know, but yeah, yeah that
- 7:35Speaker 1: is so. Look, so you're nineteen years old, so just
- 7:38Speaker 1: so we can rewind this because this is pretty crazy.
- 7:41Speaker 1: So you get locked up at seventeen, you get out, Well,
- 7:45Speaker 1: I turned eighteen in jail and I got on the
- 7:46Speaker 1: ankle brace and I cut it off, so I slipped,
- 7:49Speaker 1: So I was I've been on the run forever. Like,
- 7:51Speaker 1: so you're on the run pretty much my whole life
- 7:53Speaker 1: until I've just maxed out my prison sentence just now,
- 7:55Speaker 1: like two years ago. I basically it's been like a
- 7:58Speaker 1: niceade and a half. So you cut off your ankle
- 8:01Speaker 1: bracelet at eighteen, you end up getting back into the
- 8:04Speaker 1: system to the point where they make you go back
- 8:06Speaker 1: to high school. Yeah, like they were like, Yo, Massachusetts
- 8:09Speaker 1: won't extradite you. They're not they won't pay to get
- 8:11Speaker 1: you extradited, So we're not going to hold you on
- 8:13Speaker 1: that case. This is in Delaware. Yeah, so Delaware is like,
- 8:16Speaker 1: we're just going to charge you with your case is here.
- 8:17Speaker 1: We're just gonna make sure you go back to school.
- 8:19Speaker 1: And then and I got raided down there again, and
- 8:21Speaker 1: I bailed out before probation could put the detainer on me,
- 8:24Speaker 1: and I ran, I left Delaware. So now I'm twenty
- 8:27Speaker 1: and I'm in Philly. What I'm saying so for a
- 8:30Speaker 1: certain I just you're a nineteen year old junior in
- 8:33Speaker 1: high school Monday through Friday. My birthday. Man, it's your
- 8:39Speaker 1: birthday and birthday. Hey, think about it. How many years
- 8:41Speaker 1: ago were you in prison celebrating this day. There's some
- 8:46Speaker 1: ashtrays and some lighters. Yeah, of course I would smoke
- 8:51Speaker 1: with you, my man. Yeah, yeah, please do This thing
- 8:53Speaker 1: might have clipped up my part, but if not, I
- 8:56Speaker 1: got a box of drugs right there on top of
- 8:58Speaker 1: the mortar kombat. So so yeah, you know, wait wait wait,
- 9:02Speaker 1: So look you're nineteen. You're a nineteen year old junior
- 9:06Speaker 1: in high school with his own house. Like ten, you're
- 9:08Speaker 1: from the school. Okay, so you have your own house
- 9:09Speaker 1: right next to the school that they're forcing you to
- 9:11Speaker 1: go to. So the their officer, the their officers like
- 9:14Speaker 1: stops me one day and he's like yo, He's like,
- 9:16Speaker 1: I know what goes on at that house down the street.
- 9:18Speaker 1: He's like, don't bring that ship in this school. And
- 9:21Speaker 1: I'm just like, all right, right, I gonna argue with you.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Was a young kid. So your your daily schedule, though,
- 9:26Speaker 1: was going to school at night, You're doing your thing,
- 9:29Speaker 1: you're getting your money, and then on the weekend you're
- 9:31Speaker 1: going to this camp. I'm going to jail. Oh you're
- 9:34Speaker 1: going to jail on the week straight prisons and that's
- 9:36Speaker 1: not the VOP thing. No, the VP is the prison.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So you're going to but you're doing the VOP program
- 9:40Speaker 1: on the weekend. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yop shit. I'm getting
- 9:43Speaker 1: out Sunday night. So I had like one weekend, one
- 9:46Speaker 1: weekend left. It was on my second to last weekend,
- 9:49Speaker 1: and that ship hit the floor and them cats are like, oh,
- 9:52Speaker 1: that's hiss. He comes in here. Is that when you jetted?
- 9:55Speaker 1: So no, no, So I'm in the fucking prison, fucking balls, naked,
- 9:59Speaker 1: fucking getting accused of the drugs on the floor. They says, mind.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I'm like that ain't fucking mind. They're like, who's this?
- 10:05Speaker 1: I don't fucking know. But they can't prove it at
- 10:06Speaker 1: that point. So then they're like look and they point
- 10:08Speaker 1: there's a fucking camera. So I'm like, damn. So now
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'm like, it ain't mine. Double down, you know what
- 10:14Speaker 1: I'm saying, Fuck you ain't mind. Still I don't care
- 10:16Speaker 1: what the camera says. I'm doubled down. And uh, you know,
- 10:19Speaker 1: I was young. So Sunday night came and they read
- 10:22Speaker 1: all the weekend his names to leave and they ain't
- 10:23Speaker 1: read mine. So I'm like, yo, see yo one, that's
- 10:28Speaker 1: school Tomorrowgo the fuck back to your rap man. What
- 10:32Speaker 1: are you talking about? Man? They said you ain't you
- 10:34Speaker 1: ain't going home. You're like, you're the one who brought
- 10:35Speaker 1: the dope in. Everything's dope to them. Delaware is the South.
- 10:40Speaker 1: It's the beginning of the South. What I'm saying, Once
- 10:42Speaker 1: you hit Delaware, you're in the South. It's different than
- 10:44Speaker 1: being in Pennsylvania. It's a whole different culture, I'm telling you, man,
- 10:48Speaker 1: Like even the music motherfuckers was listening to, like Mike
- 10:50Speaker 1: Jones and shipped down there, down there. Not nothing against them,
- 10:54Speaker 1: Nothing against Mike Jones. I can use a couple of
- 10:56Speaker 1: singles too. But I'm saying, like, you know, like there's
- 10:58Speaker 1: a different vibe down there, and hold on happy birthday. Hey,
- 11:06Speaker 1: this is this guy his birthday right here. Man, it's
- 11:09Speaker 1: the hell of a birthday. Man. Bulet keV said, fly up,
- 11:13Speaker 1: but uh where was I fuck it? You said that? Uh?
- 11:19Speaker 1: They said you're staying. Oh yes, they said you're staying.
- 11:24Speaker 1: So the next morning comes and they bring me out
- 11:27Speaker 1: in front of a video court judge and I'm just like,
- 11:31Speaker 1: y'all gotta double dere like, listen six month program starting today,
- 11:35Speaker 1: or you could go catch this three piece for bringing
- 11:37Speaker 1: drugs into jail. I'm like, nope, not nope, fuck that
- 11:41Speaker 1: not mine. Nope, not mine. They're like, we got you
- 11:44Speaker 1: on camera. I'm like, I want to see the camera.
- 11:46Speaker 1: They said, well, we don't got to show it to
- 11:47Speaker 1: you till we show it to the judge. You see
- 11:48Speaker 1: it at the same time. So I was like, damn.
- 11:51Speaker 1: So I remember calling home telling my mom and she's like, oh,
- 11:54Speaker 1: you got to take the deal. But I know they're
- 11:55Speaker 1: listening in Delaware. Is nasty. So I'm like, now I'm
- 11:58Speaker 1: not taking the deal. Mom. I'm innocent, you know what
- 12:00Speaker 1: I'm saying, because I know that this is all part
- 12:01Speaker 1: of it and you probably can't get in trouble for
- 12:03Speaker 1: kicking it. Yeah, kicking it under the bed or whatever.
- 12:06Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Plausible deniability has gotten me
- 12:09Speaker 1: out of some jams, what I'm saying, so you know
- 12:11Speaker 1: they got approved. I'm saying nothing right, that shit ain't mine,
- 12:14Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So they put me in
- 12:15Speaker 1: front of the judge, and the judge is like on
- 12:17Speaker 1: the screen, he asked the CEO, because the CEO is
- 12:19Speaker 1: like acting like the fucking prosecute this shit is like
- 12:21Speaker 1: fucking small town shit going on here, guys over my shoulder,
- 12:25Speaker 1: like you're on it. We don't actually have those cameras recording.
- 12:30Speaker 1: They're just there for monit's right. Probably. The judge is like, yo,
- 12:32Speaker 1: let him go right now and get him back. I
- 12:34Speaker 1: want him back in school by this afternoon. They let
- 12:36Speaker 1: me back out. That's amazing. Went on a run. So
- 12:42Speaker 1: you you were on the run for a how many
- 12:44Speaker 1: years were you say that you were just kind of
- 12:47Speaker 1: ducking the law before it caught up to you, from
- 12:51Speaker 1: like two thousand and two to two thousand until till
- 12:57Speaker 1: I went to prison in twenty ten, twenty eleven, and
- 13:00Speaker 1: then and you say you were in for five and
- 13:01Speaker 1: a half five and a half there. Yeah, So so
- 13:04Speaker 1: it was on the run and then I got out
- 13:06Speaker 1: and was on parole, so I was. I didn't max
- 13:08Speaker 1: that out for another four years after that, so it
- 13:10Speaker 1: was almost a twenty year run. Like well for people
- 13:14Speaker 1: wh don't understand too, is like when you're on parole
- 13:17Speaker 1: like that, it's almost like as close to being in
- 13:20Speaker 1: prison as I mean. I don't know how your parole was.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I guess everyone's Philly, Philly sweet. Like I suggest anybody
- 13:25Speaker 1: who's on parole in like Jersey or something like that.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Everybody's killing everybody in Philly, right, So like if you
- 13:32Speaker 1: don't get caught shooting a gun at somebody, you know
- 13:35Speaker 1: you're not going to just like like I would suggest
- 13:38Speaker 1: you relocate to Philly if you put your if you
- 13:41Speaker 1: put it, if you put your parole in Philly, they
- 13:43Speaker 1: don't got time to come see you. Oh that's it.
- 13:46Speaker 1: They don't got time, yo. So what was it that
- 13:49Speaker 1: ended up happening where everything actually ended up catching up
- 13:52Speaker 1: to you? Because I've got some friends that were on
- 13:53Speaker 1: similar I got both in Philly. After you know, I
- 13:58Speaker 1: landed in Philly, like oh seven, I found like fish Town, Kensington,
- 14:05Speaker 1: built my little team up, had a little run to
- 14:07Speaker 1: like twenty ten, got booked, got caught on someone else's shit,
- 14:13Speaker 1: someone else's bullshit. I got pulled in, got grabbed, and
- 14:17Speaker 1: people were telling they offered me a four to eight.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I tapped real quick, because you know, I was over
- 14:25Speaker 1: one hundred grams. Over one hundred grams for a convicted
- 14:28Speaker 1: felon at the time was a mandatory seven and a
- 14:30Speaker 1: half to fifteen. But the seven and a half and
- 14:32Speaker 1: fifteen can be a back number. It doesn't got to
- 14:34Speaker 1: be your front number. So you could get a four
- 14:36Speaker 1: to eight and that falls in that seven and a
- 14:38Speaker 1: half to fifteen. So I took the sweetest deal that
- 14:40Speaker 1: they offered right away. When I went upstate, Delaware put
- 14:44Speaker 1: a detainer on me, I said, what do you guys want?
- 14:47Speaker 1: They said two and a half years plus the felling
- 14:49Speaker 1: and conviction. I'm like, well, you running right now? They
- 14:51Speaker 1: said yeah. I said boom. So I was like, no
- 14:54Speaker 1: felling convictions, just adding no, the Massachusetts hits me up.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Massachusetts tried to get it and we've been looking for him. Well,
- 15:00Speaker 1: they put a detainer on me right away, and I
- 15:03Speaker 1: got in the listen. I got in the dog program
- 15:06Speaker 1: and in the jail I was at and people have
- 15:07Speaker 1: a pet. Yeah, me and me and one one other
- 15:10Speaker 1: dude were in a building where a bunch of dudes
- 15:12Speaker 1: had like rooms like this size, but there was a
- 15:14Speaker 1: crate for a dog. And you got these fucked up
- 15:16Speaker 1: dogs and like you groom them and like walk them
- 15:19Speaker 1: and if they'd get adopted after So it made you
- 15:21Speaker 1: look good for when you saw the board and you
- 15:23Speaker 1: were doing good. You know. It's like and you had
- 15:24Speaker 1: a little friends and you had a fucking dog and
- 15:25Speaker 1: you could go outside on the compound at any time
- 15:27Speaker 1: and walk to any block because your dog had to
- 15:29Speaker 1: piss and you were just walking around. So there's a
- 15:31Speaker 1: lot of Yeah, it was a good jobs. People would
- 15:33Speaker 1: hate on that show. You in the Dog Program, I'm like, fuck,
- 15:36Speaker 1: you would take the dog too. How many dogs did
- 15:39Speaker 1: you have? Well? Actually I didn't do good in the
- 15:41Speaker 1: Dog Program really, but you know my dog died. That's
- 15:46Speaker 1: where that's what my dog died. You know. That's where
- 15:50Speaker 1: like work ethic came in and shipped to where it
- 15:52Speaker 1: was like I had like weight room and football games
- 15:55Speaker 1: coming up and playing all these sports like you're playing
- 15:57Speaker 1: football in prison. I played every sports that ball, ball man.
- 16:01Speaker 1: How's so you're walking dogs. That's not going well, because
- 16:09Speaker 1: you know it wasn't that you gotta they gotta sign
- 16:11Speaker 1: out sheet on the wall every time you take the
- 16:13Speaker 1: dog out to walk them. And this broad was running
- 16:15Speaker 1: the programs like, you know, you're not bringing the dog
- 16:17Speaker 1: out of there, you know, fucking and you're not taking
- 16:19Speaker 1: them out for long enough periods of time. And after
- 16:22Speaker 1: a while, I was like, listen, fucking cunt, I said,
- 16:23Speaker 1: I'm trying to make fucking parole and go home and
- 16:26Speaker 1: fucking live. I love the dogs, but like the dog,
- 16:29Speaker 1: don't gotta go out nine times a day. The fucking
- 16:31Speaker 1: dogs getting adopted and sitting in a cage while the
- 16:33Speaker 1: people go to work. You got me, listen, bitch, I
- 16:39Speaker 1: gotta game. I gotta game, Tom, you know what I mean.
- 16:43Speaker 1: So you know, you know this is what happened. Okay,
- 16:47Speaker 1: go ahead, go ahead. So so they let you take
- 16:51Speaker 1: a picture with the dog. Fucked up, they let me
- 16:55Speaker 1: take Let me put this down. They let me take
- 16:57Speaker 1: a picture with the dog. Right, So I got a
- 17:00Speaker 1: court date coming up in Massachusetts. Right, so I send
- 17:04Speaker 1: the pictures of the dog to my mom. My mom
- 17:07Speaker 1: goes on my behalf to Massachusetts. Right, We're we're just
- 17:10Speaker 1: trying to get up, We're trying to plead guilty. So
- 17:12Speaker 1: they start running the time while because the pia four
- 17:15Speaker 1: and a half years going the other time is gonna
- 17:17Speaker 1: get eaten up. So they're like, oh, the dude who
- 17:22Speaker 1: was ahead of probation at the time was fucking working
- 17:25Speaker 1: with adopting dogs at the Patriots games. He was putting
- 17:27Speaker 1: the dog adopted dogs up on the screen at the
- 17:29Speaker 1: Patriots game. So my mother holds the picture off of
- 17:32Speaker 1: me fucking the dog in court. I guess they you know,
- 17:35Speaker 1: talk and they're like, yeah, we'll give them, you know.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I think it was another two years. Dogs saved you
- 17:39Speaker 1: some time. Shout out another felony conviction adding up against me.
- 17:44Speaker 1: But I was getting out of ship though, so I was,
- 17:46Speaker 1: you know, shout out to the shout out to the dog.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I think his name was Boozer. Boozer like Carlos, Yeah, overrated.
- 17:54Speaker 1: He was a hound. He used to be like like
- 17:56Speaker 1: like hound Howling and the Cells. It was crazy. Bro
- 18:00Speaker 1: back to the football. How do you divvy up a
- 18:02Speaker 1: football team? And because football draft draft, so you got
- 18:06Speaker 1: to sign up a bunch of people sign up to
- 18:08Speaker 1: be coaches. Every coach gets to freeze one player. So
- 18:12Speaker 1: you got people going all over the jail trying to
- 18:14Speaker 1: like buy buy a player to freeze with them Jesus.
- 18:16Speaker 1: And then they go in and they have their draft
- 18:18Speaker 1: and ship the draft. What round were you drafted in?
- 18:22Speaker 1: You know that was a whole player. Man. So would
- 18:25Speaker 1: you play, like what was your position in prison? Pause?
- 18:30Speaker 1: I'm talking about on the football field. On the football field,
- 18:33Speaker 1: were you running back? Were you a tight end? Pause? Quarterback? Cornerback? Well,
- 18:37Speaker 1: I'd say I'd say probably a tight end. Pas. Yeah, Actually,
- 18:42Speaker 1: you'd want to be at all positions. You would want
- 18:45Speaker 1: to be a tight end in prison, I'm saying you
- 18:47Speaker 1: want to be Sports are big though in prison, man.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Sports and what gets you through ship? Yeah, you get
- 18:52Speaker 1: to play with basketball. I mean obviously I think out
- 18:55Speaker 1: here they got like there's like a big baseball league
- 18:57Speaker 1: in the prisons in Cali. Yeah. Yeah, like back in
- 19:00Speaker 1: the day they used to play like the guards that
- 19:01Speaker 1: I played, you know, baseball and it's men's softball in there,
- 19:04Speaker 1: and ship. The ball got to hit the plate to
- 19:07Speaker 1: be a strike any like crazy riots while you were
- 19:09Speaker 1: locked up in the well. So in the county in Philly, Yeah,
- 19:16Speaker 1: there was a lot of there was. Probably that's the
- 19:18Speaker 1: that was probably like the county huh And yeah absolutely.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I mean if the county in Philly eats up everything
- 19:24Speaker 1: I saw, you know. And that's what they say about
- 19:27Speaker 1: La County jail. They say it's like fucking hell on earth.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Like for even if you're only there for like two weeks,
- 19:31Speaker 1: it's like the worst I was with a kid who
- 19:33Speaker 1: got I was with a kid who had a d
- 19:35Speaker 1: UI in Philly and he was on probation for it,
- 19:38Speaker 1: and he got a d UI out in l A
- 19:40Speaker 1: And Philly went and got him and made him ride
- 19:42Speaker 1: the bus back and every so every so they ride
- 19:44Speaker 1: the bus for a couple hours and they drop you
- 19:46Speaker 1: off at the nearest prison sleeps there. Then the next
- 19:49Speaker 1: morning you go on a prison toy. Yeah, you're going
- 19:52Speaker 1: a joint. That's why you gotta look at the states
- 19:55Speaker 1: you're fucking with, because some states will go anywhere you
- 19:57Speaker 1: see on Massachusetts wouldn't even come to Delaware to get
- 19:59Speaker 1: me the mother. You know. Some Massachusetts won't extradite unless
- 20:03Speaker 1: something crazy. It's like not worth their time. Yeah, for me,
- 20:07Speaker 1: it was like you know, cocin Grand Loss in the shit,
- 20:13Speaker 1: what p y'all, we gotta stop the interview to tell
- 20:15Speaker 1: you about our new sponsors, our family at har Dean,
- 20:19Speaker 1: Loss Vegas. You see what it is. You see what
- 20:23Speaker 1: it is. Welcome to the family hard Dean. Man, We're
- 20:26Speaker 1: so excited. I've been going to Hardeen for so many years.
- 20:28Speaker 1: For people who don't know, Hardan is that premium cannabis dispensary,
- 20:32Speaker 1: the number one award winning dispensary in Loss, Vegas. I'm
- 20:37Speaker 1: talking the biggest and best selection of cannabis products, and
- 20:40Speaker 1: of course in Vegas, but I'm talking about worldwide. They're

- 21:25Speaker 1: the blue leg discount. You know what I'm saying, Get
- 21:26Speaker 1: them packwards too. They give me a packword the other
- 21:29Speaker 1: day that geez, I'm still recovering from that shit. Blew
- 21:31Speaker 1: my whole fucking face off in the best way, Hardean,
- 21:34Speaker 1: Las Vegas. All right, shout out to them. Let's get
- 21:35Speaker 1: back to the interview. Yeah, that's that's what it's crazy,
- 21:39Speaker 1: because like with your background, obviously you know it. The
- 21:44Speaker 1: it's hard a nice guy. Well, I was gonna say,
- 21:46Speaker 1: like for you to get out when you got out
- 21:50Speaker 1: and then start from zero when it comes to having
- 21:52Speaker 1: like a doing this rap shit. You know what I'm saying,
- 21:55Speaker 1: Like it says a lot about like I guess, just
- 21:58Speaker 1: like your determination man, because like I'm assuming you're writing
- 22:01Speaker 1: hell of wraps and jail and ship. Yeah, like that's
- 22:03Speaker 1: when I when I started doing that. Time when I
- 22:06Speaker 1: was fighting that case when Pennsylvania had me Delaware put
- 22:10Speaker 1: a detainer on me. There's no more bail. Don't even
- 22:14Speaker 1: think about that ship. You're just waiting for court dates. Now.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Now you're just you're in jail. You just now you
- 22:18Speaker 1: know where you're gonna be at. Now you're trying to
- 22:20Speaker 1: run a poker table. You're trying to get you know
- 22:22Speaker 1: what I mean, You're trying to start living off the land.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Your mind ain't out there no more. It's inside. But
- 22:27Speaker 1: once your mind's inside, all right, you canna do it.
- 22:31Speaker 1: You just gotta get through it. Were you like big
- 22:33Speaker 1: with rapping before you got locked up? I was rapping
- 22:36Speaker 1: and I had like a studio, but like I never
- 22:38Speaker 1: released music ever on like YouTube or nothing. I was
- 22:40Speaker 1: literally just it was just a place for us to
- 22:43Speaker 1: fuck around and gamble and meet people and serve people.
- 22:46Speaker 1: You think you sharpen your your obviously your skills a
- 22:48Speaker 1: lot while being in jail with that pen right in jail. Yeah,
- 22:52Speaker 1: not real rap in jail definitely. You know, I wrote
- 22:56Speaker 1: a lot and and then i'd go, you know, I
- 22:58Speaker 1: was like reluctant a little bit at f to rap
- 23:00Speaker 1: because it's it's nasty in there. You don't really want
- 23:02Speaker 1: to draw attention on yourself, you know what I'm saying especially,
- 23:05Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure being a white dude that raps
- 23:07Speaker 1: is like and then like I know, and then like
- 23:08Speaker 1: and then like you know, I was somebody on the
- 23:10Speaker 1: street like you weren't like a fucking yeah, people knew
- 23:13Speaker 1: who you were. I was fucking fronting everybody like they
- 23:16Speaker 1: knew everybody was. I was fucking paying gas bills like
- 23:20Speaker 1: in my in the neighborhoods I was in. So like
- 23:22Speaker 1: when I went to jail, most a lot of dudes
- 23:24Speaker 1: were fucked up on drugs. I was healthy, you know
- 23:25Speaker 1: what I'm saying. At that time, I was ready to
- 23:28Speaker 1: rouse that boy, ready to roar. So like I feel,
- 23:31Speaker 1: you know, a lot of times I feel like, you know,
- 23:35Speaker 1: like when I first went there, a lot of them
- 23:36Speaker 1: dudes kind of got behind me, like the same way
- 23:38Speaker 1: when I told you the most came to my cell
- 23:40Speaker 1: and they were like, yo, blah blah blah blah blah.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I felt myself kind of turned into that a little bit,
- 23:45Speaker 1: like trying to help out some people. Oh yeah, I
- 23:46Speaker 1: turned into you. I mean the big homie kind of
- 23:50Speaker 1: of sorts. Yeah, but in a much more humble way. No,
- 23:53Speaker 1: for sure, for sure, for sure, if you move humble.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Anywhere you can get that, you're gonna get that same
- 23:58Speaker 1: energy any racist people, any religion, anything. If you move
- 24:01Speaker 1: humble and respectful the ship, you know what I mean,
- 24:04Speaker 1: it can still go left. No, for sure, it's crazy
- 24:07Speaker 1: because like, uh, I feel like you came on the
- 24:12Speaker 1: show two or three years ago. It was right before
- 24:14Speaker 1: was it? Was it twenty nineteen or twenty eighteen? It
- 24:18Speaker 1: was it was up at the station were you and ed? Yeah,
- 24:22Speaker 1: I want to say it might have been twenty nineteen
- 24:25Speaker 1: or early yeah, yeah, yeah, but I think you had
- 24:29Speaker 1: been dming me for a while and it was hungry.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I was trying to Yeah, you were hitting me a
- 24:35Speaker 1: grip and I forget if it was Oh shit, I
- 24:39Speaker 1: don't remember who like got water? We don't got water?
- 24:44Speaker 1: Now you want to grab some from the from the
- 24:46Speaker 1: Stowsky Broski my fault man, you second a few I said.
- 24:49Speaker 1: It might have been Steve Lobel Lobell well yet so
- 24:54Speaker 1: so all right, So one night, what I'm saying, I
- 24:59Speaker 1: get a phone call all that, like something happened to
- 25:01Speaker 1: one of my friends and they were gone, they weren't
- 25:04Speaker 1: coming back for a while, and uh so I was
- 25:07Speaker 1: you know it was. It was a fucked up day,
- 25:09Speaker 1: real paranoid, fucked up day for me. I wasn't involved
- 25:13Speaker 1: in none of it, but it just was very close
- 25:15Speaker 1: to me. And you know, so I was home. I
- 25:18Speaker 1: remember I was laying downstairs in the living room and
- 25:20Speaker 1: my and my phone rang and I'm like, lo. He's like, Yo,
- 25:25Speaker 1: what's up? Bro? Just want to let you know, man,
- 25:27Speaker 1: motherfuckers is proud of you. And I was like, all right,
- 25:30Speaker 1: good looking. I'm like, who is this? He's like a
- 25:32Speaker 1: shoe man. I was like oh. I was like, all right,
- 25:35Speaker 1: where you at? I don't know. I don't even know
- 25:36Speaker 1: where this is. But I was locked up with so
- 25:37Speaker 1: many different people that someone got he got my number.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I'm not talking crazy with him. We can talk like
- 25:44Speaker 1: who is this? You know what I'm saying, Like what
- 25:46Speaker 1: do I know you're from? No? Man, you you weren't
- 25:51Speaker 1: locked up with me. I'm way out West. I'm like, no,
- 25:53Speaker 1: I was at West Pa too. He's like no, no no, no,
- 25:55Speaker 1: I'm out West. I'm in California locked up. So I
- 25:58Speaker 1: just want to let you know. We've been looking at
- 25:59Speaker 1: your progress. Motherfuckers is proud of even ship. So I
- 26:02Speaker 1: was like, all right, I was like, I appreciate it.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I said, Shoe, where do where do I know you from?
- 26:07Speaker 1: He said, my name ain't Shoe. My name is Shug.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I said Shug. I said, this is Shug. What's your
- 26:14Speaker 1: last what's your last name? He said, there's only one Shug.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Motherfucker's Shug Knight. So I was like, you know what
- 26:20Speaker 1: I'm saying. I was like, all right. He's like, look,
- 26:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna have Scott and Steve call you. You don't
- 26:25Speaker 1: get with you. I was like, all right, well, if
- 26:28Speaker 1: this is really you, I apologize. I don't know how
- 26:32Speaker 1: Suke Night got my number, right, you know what I'm saying.
- 26:36Speaker 1: So the next day, Scott Storch facetimey. I was like, Yo,
- 26:41Speaker 1: we're gonna we're gonna get it in. We just we
- 26:43Speaker 1: just got put onto you by you know, suck Night.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I was like, damn. I was like, all right, And
- 26:48Speaker 1: I never even got to talk to dude again because
- 26:50Speaker 1: you can't call back. That's crazy, you know what I'm saying.
- 26:52Speaker 1: And then you know, it went dry for a while,
- 26:55Speaker 1: like the whole summer went by, and then my homie
- 26:57Speaker 1: hit me and was like, yo, I just because I
- 26:59Speaker 1: put a green shot up when I storted facetimeing, I
- 27:03Speaker 1: was like, hold up, bro Colb and take that screen shots,
- 27:05Speaker 1: like yeah, of course put it up so that that
- 27:08Speaker 1: got you know, the battery in one of my homies
- 27:10Speaker 1: back to just keep the same way I was at you.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I got some thorough people around me that are constantly
- 27:15Speaker 1: just like how Breeze is just like all his beads Ship,
- 27:17Speaker 1: you know, so like he's like, yeah, I'm going out
- 27:21Speaker 1: there funk with him. You're coming. I'm like, all right,
- 27:22Speaker 1: come on, we go out there, get with Steve, get
- 27:24Speaker 1: with Scott. We got a record in the tuck. You know,
- 27:27Speaker 1: I gotta beat by Storch in the you know, in
- 27:28Speaker 1: the tuck. Great guy. Yeah, man, So you know, should
- 27:33Speaker 1: be having and crazy shit you having. So you still
- 27:35Speaker 1: haven't talked to Ship night. Huh nah, that's so crazy,
- 27:40Speaker 1: Like whatever you were doing like got into the on
- 27:43Speaker 1: his radar while he's incarcerated. Yeah yeah, yeah, it's fucking
- 27:48Speaker 1: wild man. Nah, you know, it's it ain't easy. It
- 27:52Speaker 1: ain't found out whether that where that where that came
- 27:56Speaker 1: from or some cats from Jersey was at Shade for
- 27:59Speaker 1: five one day, and you know, I guess they were
- 28:03Speaker 1: in close touch with dude over here and you know
- 28:06Speaker 1: they put him. I mean I found that out later.
- 28:09Speaker 1: But yeah, man, I don't know if he's ever supposed
- 28:13Speaker 1: to get out, but I'm sure if he does, you'll
- 28:14Speaker 1: meet him one day or visit him. I don't know.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah no, man, Like I said, Man, I wish
- 28:19Speaker 1: everybody the best, like I know everybody. You know that's
- 28:23Speaker 1: not a I know that that that dude has been
- 28:26Speaker 1: through a lot of situations with a lot of people
- 28:28Speaker 1: out of course, of course, Like I mean, yeah, but
- 28:31Speaker 1: you know, but that's like that's their business, being that
- 28:36Speaker 1: you've lived the life you've lived. When you listen to
- 28:41Speaker 1: certain rappers, can you tell if they're full of shit
- 28:45Speaker 1: or not? Sometimes because I feel like the stuff you
- 28:49Speaker 1: say in your bars, like people who know, like like
- 28:52Speaker 1: you know, push it. He has a song if you know,
- 28:53Speaker 1: you know, like I feel like if you listen to
- 28:55Speaker 1: your ship, you're saying some really really like some ship
- 28:58Speaker 1: that I went through. Damn, Like this dude is fucking serious,
- 29:02Speaker 1: Like this is not some you know for gayzy dude. Yeah,
- 29:04Speaker 1: I can I can tell. I can tell sometimes sometimes
- 29:08Speaker 1: though you know, some cats out here doing you know,
- 29:14Speaker 1: crazy numbers with with whatever they're doing on the street,
- 29:16Speaker 1: and you know, they make music that's like future, you
- 29:19Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, though, So like, well, I think
- 29:21Speaker 1: too sometimes it's like the close to it if you
- 29:24Speaker 1: got a hard bar rapper though, I can tell. I
- 29:27Speaker 1: can really I could tell if it's if it was
- 29:29Speaker 1: him or his homies. I mean, that was you with
- 29:32Speaker 1: your big brother. Man, it's not rapping a bunch of
- 29:34Speaker 1: brother Man, aren't you kind of like glad that you
- 29:36Speaker 1: got all that ship out of the way when you did,
- 29:38Speaker 1: before this Fandael ship was popping, because god damn it's
- 29:40Speaker 1: crazy right now, right absolutely, it's like it's terrible, absolutely, man.
- 29:44Speaker 1: You know, like I said, Man, I got tired of
- 29:47Speaker 1: drugs in the ecstasy era. Man, I was off. I
- 29:49Speaker 1: was over. I was over really doing drugs when I
- 29:53Speaker 1: was a kid. So I was when I became an adult,
- 29:55Speaker 1: like I've been on my own, you know what I'm saying.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Like I never had like a good looking bro I
- 29:59Speaker 1: never I had like a net under me that was
- 30:01Speaker 1: gonna catch me. So I had to accept like how
- 30:04Speaker 1: miserable life can be when you're a man by yourself
- 30:07Speaker 1: and you're fucking broke. You know. Once you're nineteen twenty
- 30:09Speaker 1: years old. You're a grown man, you know what I'm saying.
- 30:12Speaker 1: So you were you. I mean, look, you were pretty
- 30:13Speaker 1: much out on your own right away seventeen on. Yeah,
- 30:16Speaker 1: and I didn't have to be like my mother was
- 30:19Speaker 1: good family, you know what I'm saying, Good parents and
- 30:21Speaker 1: shit like separated, but still like I mean, she showed
- 30:25Speaker 1: that guy the dog. She shit fucking went to my
- 30:27Speaker 1: court dates for me, you know what I'm saying. Tom
- 30:30Speaker 1: flu to Pittsburgh from Massachusetts. Had to fly into Pittsburgh,
- 30:34Speaker 1: rent the car, get a hotel just to visit me.
- 30:36Speaker 1: That's amazing your mom. Man, shout out to Mom Dukes. Man.
- 30:39Speaker 1: My dad visited me too. Man, m it will come
- 30:42Speaker 1: on and check me out like once a year. Because
- 30:44Speaker 1: it's such a long drive. Man, I'll be like, Man,
- 30:46Speaker 1: don't even fucking come up with this fucking nutass hillbilly
- 30:49Speaker 1: fuck place. You're gonna get a fucking dyl y man,
- 30:51Speaker 1: get the fuck shout out to the hillbillies. Man, Hey,

- 32:49Speaker 1: first month for free. So go do that shit. Hey,
- 32:52Speaker 1: being a white rapper, you I feel like you automatically
- 32:55Speaker 1: just inherit random like redneck fans, even though you don't
- 32:58Speaker 1: make that kind of shit. Have you noticed that I
- 33:05Speaker 1: just noticed like this gradual of every type of everyone.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Everybody who I know that's like super into like ill
- 33:13Speaker 1: rap shit. Like when I repost you on a freestyle
- 33:15Speaker 1: or whatever it is, they're always like, yo, he's crazy,
- 33:18Speaker 1: Like I'm a fan. I fuck with him. Like, but
- 33:21Speaker 1: you had mentioned in the freestyle I think you did
- 33:24Speaker 1: for was on the radar. There is a weird, obnoxious
- 33:30Speaker 1: underbelly of white rap that is easy to get pulled
- 33:34Speaker 1: into because it's like, uh, it's just low hanging fruit
- 33:37Speaker 1: to me. I'm talking about what's the fucking guy who
- 33:40Speaker 1: I beefed out with in my YouTube comments, that corny bastard?
- 33:44Speaker 1: What's that Adam Calhoun? Oh okay, so like that kind
- 33:48Speaker 1: of shit, the Adam Calhoun shit, the Burden shit, the uh.
- 33:52Speaker 1: There's just a lot of weird, super like cringey white
- 33:57Speaker 1: rap shit guys Like I guess the way to put
- 33:59Speaker 1: it in the terms will be like if you like music,
- 34:04Speaker 1: so like people come up to me and be like, yo,
- 34:07Speaker 1: I listen to your ship and that shit gives me
- 34:09Speaker 1: the fucking chills, Like that should make like you said
- 34:11Speaker 1: or something like that. And that's because, like I'm saying,
- 34:14Speaker 1: I'm putting my real life emotion into something. So that's
- 34:17Speaker 1: why I'm doing it. I'm doing it because I'm making
- 34:20Speaker 1: something that I feel. It's all it's all organic and
- 34:23Speaker 1: it's all real. Yeah, it doesn't. You know. It's like
- 34:28Speaker 1: when someone is just writing a poem of the best
- 34:30Speaker 1: ship that they can think of and none of it
- 34:33Speaker 1: and there's no you can tell that there's no passion
- 34:35Speaker 1: or nothing in it. I mean, they're really just trying
- 34:37Speaker 1: to ride a beat and they're just they're doing it
- 34:39Speaker 1: just to be doing it, because there is no passion
- 34:42Speaker 1: in it. There is no message in it, So what
- 34:44Speaker 1: the fuck are you doing? So people like who pay
- 34:46Speaker 1: attention to lyrics and appreciate ship like that, that was
- 34:50Speaker 1: gonna get tired something here. That's like doing them country
- 34:52Speaker 1: singers be like, well that's what I think. You mentioned
- 34:54Speaker 1: the Calhoun dud and the up Church guy right, Oh
- 34:56Speaker 1: yeah Church, he made that front work his guns first,
- 35:03Speaker 1: be clear. Yeah, I heard the up Church guy is
- 35:06Speaker 1: a nice guy, but I don't know. Probably I wish
- 35:08Speaker 1: them both the best. Uh, yeah, you had talked to
- 35:12Speaker 1: you and Millie supposed to be doing some shit together,
- 35:14Speaker 1: the whole project. That's my dog man, great guy, Yeah right,
- 35:18Speaker 1: you know it's crazy. I met millions in twenty and
- 35:20Speaker 1: twelve at south By Southwest as a Hyatt fucking lobby.
- 35:24Speaker 1: That guy's been at it for years. Man, Well you
- 35:27Speaker 1: know what I'm saying that he's you know, the ship
- 35:29Speaker 1: he's got going on right now, he's killing it. Yeah,
- 35:31Speaker 1: he deserves it. And he's official too. He's official, official, absolutely,
- 35:36Speaker 1: Like you know, you asked me a certain people that
- 35:39Speaker 1: guy is official. Absolutely. You've had some pretty big moments
- 35:44Speaker 1: in terms of just like people acknowledging the movement, acknowledging
- 35:48Speaker 1: you as you know, just I mean obviously Meek's posted
- 35:50Speaker 1: your ship snoop dog of recent like what's what's been
- 35:54Speaker 1: like one of the more crazier things that like kind
- 35:57Speaker 1: of made you like pinch yourself, Like, damn, I was
- 35:58Speaker 1: fucking in prison, you know seven years ago. Like now
- 36:01Speaker 1: so and so is all my ship Like this ship
- 36:03Speaker 1: is wild. Yeah, that happens a lot. But what I
- 36:06Speaker 1: do is I just I'd be like shut the fuck
- 36:09Speaker 1: up and think about what's the next joint? Yeah, because
- 36:12Speaker 1: if you give two wrapped up into the what am
- 36:15Speaker 1: I doing a rollof for this next project? Where am
- 36:17Speaker 1: I going? Where it did not go what did not do?
- 36:19Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. And I've had two children born,
- 36:22Speaker 1: you know, and you know what I'm saying, in the
- 36:24Speaker 1: last three years, I've had two children born. So wow,
- 36:27Speaker 1: well congrats yeah yeah yeah, yeah, I got three kids. Yeah,
- 36:32Speaker 1: so you know, I just had two in the last
- 36:34Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, You got two young ones
- 36:35Speaker 1: right now. That's that's why. Yeah. Yeah. And my oldest
- 36:37Speaker 1: son he's playing you know, football, soccer. Oh nice, little
- 36:41Speaker 1: little dude. Now man football in soccer. Man. Once they
- 36:45Speaker 1: hit like eight, they become like little dudes. Low key.
- 36:48Speaker 1: I think anythin't before that. You really look at it
- 36:50Speaker 1: like damn, Like I gotta watch what I say in
- 36:51Speaker 1: front of you now because you really be knowing about ship. Yeah,
- 36:54Speaker 1: it's definitely right now. At this time in my life,
- 36:57Speaker 1: my music is starting to connect to my home life
- 37:02Speaker 1: because I have a child old enough to understand stuff.
- 37:05Speaker 1: So and that's important too. This is them explaining the dude. Yeah, Now,
- 37:09Speaker 1: I have an eight year old who is going on thirty.
- 37:12Speaker 1: A lot of these dudes ain't there for their kids.
- 37:13Speaker 1: A lot of these dudes like they're lit, but their
- 37:16Speaker 1: kids they're fucking thirty. Seven year old kids. They got
- 37:20Speaker 1: kids out there, they don't take care of their kids.
- 37:22Speaker 1: There's no way they're taking care of their kids, because
- 37:24Speaker 1: I'd be with my kids. So I know there's no
- 37:26Speaker 1: fucking way that a lot of these cats really have that.
- 37:28Speaker 1: And I wouldn't really sacrifice that relationship with my kids
- 37:31Speaker 1: if I got anything, if I got to get rich
- 37:33Speaker 1: slower than I will. You know what I'm saying, I'm
- 37:35Speaker 1: still gonna grind. I'll just sleep less. That's my that's
- 37:38Speaker 1: my trick. That's amazing. You know, I see you do
- 37:40Speaker 1: it too. Life balances and salute to everybody who don't,
- 37:45Speaker 1: I mean, don't get it twisted. That's there are a
- 37:47Speaker 1: lot of thirty seven year old children running around here.
- 37:50Speaker 1: But you know, and I'm not saying right, but I'm
- 37:52Speaker 1: not saying, oh, just because they don't have kids that
- 37:55Speaker 1: they're fucking children. I don't like that. So they is
- 37:58Speaker 1: that they don't take care of their kids, right, people
- 38:00Speaker 1: out kids, That's what I'm saying. You know, you know,
- 38:04Speaker 1: my baby Mam makes it easy too, though, you know
- 38:06Speaker 1: what I'm saying. It's important, man, it's important to have
- 38:08Speaker 1: the right person to like understand your mission, especially being
- 38:12Speaker 1: an artist, like they just somebody just call home today
- 38:15Speaker 1: a relative and said that, like, you know, he just
- 38:19Speaker 1: landed in a new in a county jail, and the
- 38:23Speaker 1: guards got my ship on YouTube with them with the
- 38:26Speaker 1: speaker with my ship's playing on YouTube, and the cell
- 38:29Speaker 1: block right now, the dudes are going up to the
- 38:32Speaker 1: cell like, Yo, that's your fan, that's your people throwing food.
- 38:35Speaker 1: You know, it's like that right now because I really
- 38:38Speaker 1: came in heavy, Like you know what I'm saying. I
- 38:40Speaker 1: put a lot of people on a lot of people,
- 38:43Speaker 1: put a lot of people on a lot a lot
- 38:45Speaker 1: of people Massachusetts, Jersey, New Hampshire, Delaware, Pennsylvania, all well,
- 38:52Speaker 1: you know back then. So my relationships some of those
- 38:56Speaker 1: people that you know, I had these relationships with, you know,
- 38:58Speaker 1: we're all out of the streets now, but some of
- 39:00Speaker 1: these people know me. I mean, you know each other
- 39:03Speaker 1: now you kind you know what I mean? Yeah, we
- 39:04Speaker 1: know we wouldn't fuck each other or you know, I
- 39:07Speaker 1: have that relationship with like all these these people. You
- 39:11Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, I have, you know, so and
- 39:12Speaker 1: it's not all from drugs, you know what I'm saying.
- 39:14Speaker 1: It's it's from just being being solid back in the day.
- 39:17Speaker 1: It really was, but you know, those relationships turn into
- 39:20Speaker 1: other things. People ended up places, a lot of people dead,
- 39:23Speaker 1: a lot of people in jail. Some people work at
- 39:25Speaker 1: fucking in the school. You know what I'm saying. You
- 39:28Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. That's crazy, man. You know that's
- 39:31Speaker 1: my path and I'm still not where I want to go.
- 39:33Speaker 1: But my character is on a bean. You know what
- 39:35Speaker 1: I'm saying. Explain to me, like what was the moment,
- 39:39Speaker 1: like when you first get out where you decided to
- 39:42Speaker 1: go like ten toes in on this rap shit because
- 39:44Speaker 1: I'm assuming, like I was on a roof getting paid
- 39:46Speaker 1: eighty dollars a day, about to fall off that shit everything,
- 39:50Speaker 1: not knowing what I was doing, unskilled, and I'm coming
- 39:54Speaker 1: and I'm coming out of jail, and everyone's like you
- 39:56Speaker 1: better go out there and fuck that ship up, like
- 39:58Speaker 1: cause I'm coming. I'm you know, I hit home, and
- 40:01Speaker 1: the people, like I said, I've said this before, like
- 40:03Speaker 1: people weren't as quick to want to help you because
- 40:05Speaker 1: they're like, what are you doing. You're trying to wrap dude,
- 40:07Speaker 1: Like come on, man, get a fucking job. You just
- 40:10Speaker 1: got out going back to jail, man, people who care
- 40:13Speaker 1: about you. Yeah, yeah, man, And you gotta decide. I
- 40:21Speaker 1: like right there, like all right, what am I doing?
- 40:23Speaker 1: Its balls to the wall, balls to the walls. Believe
- 40:27Speaker 1: you just go believe in yourself, and then you know,
- 40:30Speaker 1: when you start knocking down doors, you'd be like, oh yeah,
- 40:33Speaker 1: I'm a fucking door knocker down there. You know what
- 40:35Speaker 1: I'm saying, more than one way knocking those doors? Man? Uh, bro,
- 40:40Speaker 1: have you ever thought about acting? I feel like you
- 40:43Speaker 1: could be like type just got me minute? What'd you
- 40:46Speaker 1: get me? Breeze? What's it called the check? What's it from?
- 40:51Speaker 1: Got my first? Yeah? Yeah, got my sack check from
- 40:54Speaker 1: that BT? Yeah? Man to man, I feel like you
- 40:58Speaker 1: could just be typecasting in every Ben Affley gangster movie forever.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Shout out Slain Man Slain. You could sell hey, shot
- 41:04Speaker 1: of my guy. Slain. Slain's a dope rappers. Let you know,
- 41:06Speaker 1: he's somebody who I look up to a lot with
- 41:08Speaker 1: what he great guy, man, great guy won. I had
- 41:10Speaker 1: a legendary night in Las Vegas with Slain and a
- 41:14Speaker 1: bunch of porn stars in twenty and twelve. My god
- 41:17Speaker 1: Static Selector was there. Yeah. I may or may not
- 41:21Speaker 1: have gotten filatio in front of them in the back
- 41:23Speaker 1: of a limo. Yeah. Whatever is a long time ago
- 41:27Speaker 1: before I knew my wife. Shout out status, shout out
- 41:29Speaker 1: to those What was it? What's the name of the
- 41:30Speaker 1: porn awards? Fuck the big ones avns AP and awards
- 41:34Speaker 1: in Vegas. Those weekends were crazy. Yeah I missed those. Yeah,
- 41:39Speaker 1: you missed them. But how do you like, like, when
- 41:41Speaker 1: you're in prison, don't they like take that ship from you,
- 41:44Speaker 1: Like if somehow you managed to get like a fucking
- 41:46Speaker 1: hustler in there, isn't that contraband? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 41:50Speaker 1: so you get in trouble for that. Yeah, but you
- 41:52Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, certain guards probably realized that that
- 41:55Speaker 1: ship is breeding homosexuality. And I think, you know a
- 41:58Speaker 1: lot of times guards are the one taking the magazine
- 42:01Speaker 1: in and taking to the copy machine, printing all them
- 42:04Speaker 1: black and whites and giving them to the block, So,
- 42:06Speaker 1: you know, probably feeling bad for dudes, you know what
- 42:08Speaker 1: I'm saying. Oh so like like like most of the
- 42:11Speaker 1: shit that comes into jail is coming from a guard
- 42:13Speaker 1: who's trying to be thorough. I ain't gonna say a
- 42:14Speaker 1: thorough guard because there's no such thing but somebody, some
- 42:18Speaker 1: a guard who works or administrator who works inside the jail,
- 42:21Speaker 1: is trying to be thorough, you know. I'm yeah, because
- 42:24Speaker 1: I feel like a lot of people like CEOs. I
- 42:26Speaker 1: feel like there's two types of coos. Somebody who was
- 42:28Speaker 1: just like, look, this is a job, it is what
- 42:30Speaker 1: it is, good benefits. And there's the motherfuckers who grew
- 42:33Speaker 1: up not getting o pussy, who are probably dickheads in
- 42:36Speaker 1: high school and that this is their way. Oh man,
- 42:39Speaker 1: it's bad, bro. You know what the guys I'm talking about,
- 42:41Speaker 1: and they don't like me and they're just the worst.
- 42:43Speaker 1: But you know, I'm a real associatepath fuck. I can
- 42:46Speaker 1: manipulate those people too if I need to, you know
- 42:48Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But yeah, those people are the worst though. Hey,

- 44:33Speaker 1: give you two hundred dollars on top of that to
- 44:35Speaker 1: gamble with for free. If you put in one thousand dollars,

- 44:42Speaker 1: for you to gamble with right now. So what the
- 44:44Speaker 1: fuck are you waiting for. Let's get this money, Let's
- 44:47Speaker 1: watch some fucking football, and let's get paid with my bookie.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Definitely gets nasty. Be a nice hustle if you're it's
- 44:52Speaker 1: hard when those people banned up. Those people by themselves
- 44:56Speaker 1: are one thing, but when you find a certain crew
- 44:58Speaker 1: of dickheads, man, it's just the whole cruise a bunch
- 45:01Speaker 1: of fucking assholes. Then the other crews selling Black and
- 45:05Speaker 1: White Duty magazine. That's how it be at them Western
- 45:07Speaker 1: PA prisons and then prisons are in towns and they're
- 45:10Speaker 1: owned by the people in the town. You know what
- 45:12Speaker 1: I'm saying. Watching Have you watched the Mayor of Kingstown.
- 45:17Speaker 1: It's with a Jeremy Renner, the guy from hurt Locker.
- 45:22Speaker 1: It's about like that. It's about like this this little town.
- 45:25Speaker 1: It might be in like that area. Actually I'm pretty
- 45:27Speaker 1: sure it is. And it's like about like how this
- 45:29Speaker 1: prison kind of feeds the whole town, like job does man,
- 45:33Speaker 1: the way fun the way they the way they mark
- 45:36Speaker 1: up commissary, like with nobody overseeing them. You understand that
- 45:41Speaker 1: it's like a straight flip. I mean, there's no nobody's involved.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Like they're just buying ship that's approved and they're marking
- 45:47Speaker 1: it up as they see fit and selling it that
- 45:49Speaker 1: commisary that's selling it to the selling toy. They're locking
- 45:52Speaker 1: you in a place and get like a bottle of
- 45:54Speaker 1: these Yes, they're locking you in a place right for
- 45:56Speaker 1: whatever whatever, controlling the market on everything you can buy. Really,
- 46:00Speaker 1: I mean really, And then like I'm the way that
- 46:03Speaker 1: they're streaming the music in there and ship like I'm glad,
- 46:05Speaker 1: I'm on I'm on all them tablets and shiit. But
- 46:07Speaker 1: like you can get a tablet in there. Everybody got
- 46:10Speaker 1: a tablet. My music's on all the tablets. We fight
- 46:12Speaker 1: to make sure my ship's on the tablets. And what
- 46:15Speaker 1: is the is it like Spotify? Like what is it? No,
- 46:18Speaker 1: it's like a fucking They get like a tablet and
- 46:20Speaker 1: they have like a site that I forget. It's not jpey,
- 46:23Speaker 1: it's something else or might be if I was out
- 46:26Speaker 1: of jail. I just I left and got out of
- 46:28Speaker 1: prison right before the tablets came and the tobacco got
- 46:32Speaker 1: taken out. They took all the tobacco out. So tablets,
- 46:35Speaker 1: there's like a specific platform that like you got you
- 46:39Speaker 1: get a tablet and like you can call people from
- 46:42Speaker 1: it from your cell so you don't have to worry
- 46:44Speaker 1: about like the phone line. Nomal. Yeah, I got a
- 46:46Speaker 1: homie who text me regularly from prison from federal prison
- 46:49Speaker 1: and uh, he's in Ohio. He's like I talked to
- 46:51Speaker 1: him all the like every week, Like he just texted
- 46:53Speaker 1: me about you see what happened. I'm like, yeah, I
- 46:55Speaker 1: don't know, Like I feel like my time would have
- 46:57Speaker 1: been a lot harder if I'd had a phone, but
- 47:00Speaker 1: you know, I would have. I would I wanted one
- 47:01Speaker 1: when I was in there, of course, said at all times.
- 47:03Speaker 1: But to have a phone full time while you're doing
- 47:06Speaker 1: all them years is like it's almost like it's teasing you,
- 47:08Speaker 1: like what you're missing, Yeah, as opposed to focus on
- 47:11Speaker 1: what's in front of you. That's real watching people go
- 47:14Speaker 1: through like college, Damn, sh it hurts. Crazy shit hurts.
- 47:19Speaker 1: So I'm glad I just locked him. Just leave me alone.
- 47:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna be in I'll just hunker down and live
- 47:24Speaker 1: life right there until it's time to go. So your
- 47:26Speaker 1: new album explain the title no matter what? Yeah? What
- 47:31Speaker 1: what I mean? This is no matter relentless. I mean
- 47:34Speaker 1: we see no matter what, like yeah, that's yeah. We
- 47:37Speaker 1: just talked about everything you fucking went through. Yeah, you know,
- 47:40Speaker 1: and like you know, other people have had rougher paper
- 47:43Speaker 1: routes than me. I'm not complaining, but yeah, that's that's
- 47:46Speaker 1: you ask why wear a at That's what it is
- 47:49Speaker 1: that you got. Chris Webby on the album shouts Chris Webby,
- 47:52Speaker 1: Chris friend, great guy. Yeah man, he's got a pretty
- 47:55Speaker 1: sick fan base. Too. You say you were on the
- 47:57Speaker 1: road a little bit with him, Yeah, got the experience.
- 47:59Speaker 1: He took me to do some shows with him and
- 48:00Speaker 1: Ship and kid Ritz was out there with him. Man,
- 48:05Speaker 1: Rich's old as fuck. Be clear, he is not a kid.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Fuck with Rich, great guy. I fuck with him too,
- 48:10Speaker 1: Maybe a little too much to the gentriment of my
- 48:11Speaker 1: own fucking you know existence, but yeah, man, right, he
- 48:14Speaker 1: can wrap his ass off. Yeah, and he is probably
- 48:18Speaker 1: the one day Rich's movie will come out and it
- 48:21Speaker 1: will be great. Rich is a wild boy, That's all
- 48:24Speaker 1: I can say. Yeah, he's definitely I only kicked it
- 48:27Speaker 1: with him for a little bit, but we're definitely gonna
- 48:29Speaker 1: link again. No, you guys should do a record together
- 48:32Speaker 1: because he can, Like he does the chopping where you
- 48:34Speaker 1: be rapping fast, but people don't know he could do.
- 48:36Speaker 1: He actually has like a whole boombab tape that he
- 48:38Speaker 1: never put out, just to show people that he doesn't
- 48:40Speaker 1: have to wrap that way. But Rich's fire. Who was
- 48:43Speaker 1: on the album? He said, webbe who else? Oh sue surf,
- 48:47Speaker 1: Sue Surf? Yeah, man, shut out. He's one of them ones. Man. Yeah, Man,
- 48:50Speaker 1: He's somebody that I always wanted to work with so
- 48:53Speaker 1: when the opportunity came up, I was glad we were
- 48:56Speaker 1: able to you know what I'm saying, able to link
- 48:58Speaker 1: shoot that video, get all that out. And then I
- 49:01Speaker 1: got another one with Hardo from from Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh
- 49:04Speaker 1: He's so fire, yo, real rap man. Get I know.
- 49:07Speaker 1: But you know, I've had him on my show. I
- 49:09Speaker 1: feel like we've I've been tapped in with Hardal for
- 49:11Speaker 1: a long time. I feel like twenty seventeen he came
- 49:14Speaker 1: on my show. But I just ran into him at
- 49:16Speaker 1: south By and uh, I fucked with hard oh Man. Yeah,
- 49:19Speaker 1: you'd be talking shit. He's another one on people that
- 49:21Speaker 1: when they talk that shit. Yeah, he's you know what
- 49:24Speaker 1: I'm saying. Yeah, shot to Pittsburgh, man, I saw. Uh
- 49:28Speaker 1: did you have a relationship with the battle rapper who
- 49:30Speaker 1: just passed away? Pat? Yeah, real good relationship. Yeah. I
- 49:33Speaker 1: saw he you know, I saw you just post about him.
- 49:36Speaker 1: I don't know the circumstances of which he died, man,
- 49:39Speaker 1: but like he was by all accounts one of the
- 49:42Speaker 1: I'm not like super I think I think he was.
- 49:45Speaker 1: He's to me, you know what I'm saying, And I
- 49:47Speaker 1: said this before you know what I'm saying he passed,
- 49:49Speaker 1: but uh, he was number one him in disaster. To me,
- 49:54Speaker 1: were the best two battle rappers I ever heard, you know, right,
- 49:57Speaker 1: There's some other cats, though in a different way. Like
- 50:00Speaker 1: I'm a big fan of nests. Do that's a different thing. Yeah, yeah,
- 50:06Speaker 1: I gotta get more caught up. But uh, but back
- 50:09Speaker 1: to Pat though, Pat's a legend forever. You know what
- 50:12Speaker 1: I'm saying. How'd you guys end up like becoming friends ship?
- 50:17Speaker 1: I think it was showing love through internet, you know
- 50:19Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But Pat was one of them people
- 50:21Speaker 1: that like, you know, voice texts you, right, what I'm saying,
- 50:26Speaker 1: back and forth all day. We talk every day. Did
- 50:28Speaker 1: your voice text back or did you talk to not whatever? However,
- 50:32Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. However, but me and Pat
- 50:35Speaker 1: was tight. Bro. That sucks, man. Yeah, I feel because
- 50:38Speaker 1: it's crazy because I remember seeing that he had passed away,
- 50:40Speaker 1: and then I watched this that's like really eerie, like
- 50:43Speaker 1: when someone dies and like their story is still up
- 50:45Speaker 1: from the day of and it's like fuck man, Like
- 50:47Speaker 1: this dude was just breathing like eight hours ago. Like
- 50:50Speaker 1: it's you just never know when your time can come man,
- 50:53Speaker 1: he was the last person I could think of that.
- 50:56Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, right right, right right, So unfortunate,
- 51:01Speaker 1: very very emotional about that. For you, where do you?
- 51:06Speaker 1: Where do you go from here? Because when you get
- 51:09Speaker 1: a look like the BT cipher, major labels will start
- 51:12Speaker 1: knocking if they haven't already been knocking. I know you've
- 51:15Speaker 1: been close to some situations with you know, some some
- 51:18Speaker 1: other rap. I wouldn't say cruise labels whatever, but are
- 51:23Speaker 1: you looking to sign? Are you? Like? Where are you
- 51:25Speaker 1: at in terms of like the rap shit like moving?
- 51:28Speaker 1: I'm in a good place right because, like I can
- 51:31Speaker 1: drop music when I want. I got a good situation
- 51:34Speaker 1: with Distro. I mean, shot all my people over in
- 51:37Speaker 1: next Yeah, I got a good situation. It could always
- 51:42Speaker 1: be better. But you know, I learned that every time
- 51:44Speaker 1: I drop, I'm becoming you know, every time I perform,
- 51:47Speaker 1: every time I do anything, I'm just increasing what I
- 51:51Speaker 1: got going on. You're increasing your reach every time. So like,
- 51:54Speaker 1: you know, I expect more, you know what I'm saying,
- 51:57Speaker 1: So I just keep you know, I'm all you know
- 52:00Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But right now I'm self sufficient, so
- 52:04Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not drowning no more like I was.
- 52:07Speaker 1: I was drowning. Yeah, Because like I think the goal
- 52:10Speaker 1: always should be when you you're broke, I'm broke right
- 52:14Speaker 1: parole right with kids. Fuck broke on parole with kids.
- 52:20Speaker 1: What I'm saying trying to make it, just crying it out.
- 52:27Speaker 1: I think anyone's like, if anybody can successfully get to
- 52:30Speaker 1: the point where they can get their bills paid off
- 52:32Speaker 1: of this rap shit like you made it, like to
- 52:35Speaker 1: be honest, like you made it. But every time you
- 52:39Speaker 1: get to the top of a hill, ye keep going. Man,
- 52:41Speaker 1: you see another mountain. You didn't see it till you
- 52:43Speaker 1: got to the top. It's crazy, that's real because like
- 52:45Speaker 1: you're being around Levy like like learning yeah, does things
- 52:48Speaker 1: and seeing how they do, you know, like what the
- 52:51Speaker 1: you know? Well, I mean I feel like you probably
- 52:53Speaker 1: would do that a few different times. I know financially,
- 52:56Speaker 1: you probably had a lot of money, you know, growing
- 52:58Speaker 1: up before you went to prison. But like I feel
- 53:01Speaker 1: like you always think, damn, if I ever made this
- 53:03Speaker 1: amount of money, I'll be fucking set. And then you
- 53:05Speaker 1: get to that amount of money and then you don't
- 53:07Speaker 1: even think about and you're just like I need more,
- 53:10Speaker 1: Like we gotta keep this shit going. Yeah, it's never
- 53:13Speaker 1: it's never enough. And the world, you know, and having
- 53:15Speaker 1: a phone in front of you to show you the
- 53:17Speaker 1: things you don't have and the things you're not doing
- 53:19Speaker 1: right that will drive you and poison you. You know
- 53:23Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But it'll drive you, it drives me.
- 53:25Speaker 1: It's a beautiful thing, man, beautiful thing man. No matter what.

- 54:53Speaker 1: the interview. How like often like you live with your
- 54:56Speaker 1: kids full time? Right, yeah, so when you're like not
- 55:00Speaker 1: with them, when you're on the road, when you're doing
- 55:02Speaker 1: the Chris Webby shit, is it like, is it like
- 55:05Speaker 1: tough to be away from the kids for like a
- 55:07Speaker 1: long amount of time. I mean, like yeah, but you know,
- 55:10Speaker 1: like there's FaceTime. The FaceTime changes the game a little bit.
- 55:13Speaker 1: But you know, as men, you know, we gotta go provide.
- 55:17Speaker 1: You gotta go hunt in the foods and you know
- 55:19Speaker 1: what I mean. That's what I tell my wife, you know,
- 55:21Speaker 1: and you know the women can hunt too that, you
- 55:23Speaker 1: know what I mean. She's taking care of the kids.
- 55:25Speaker 1: I'm out getting this money. You gotta find that child care.
- 55:27Speaker 1: You gotta pay for that. You gotta hunt for that too.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Go hunt that there. You know what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 55:32Speaker 1: get a little vacation from the kids to get that
- 55:34Speaker 1: date night, popp. You know, it's hard, it's been it's
- 55:37Speaker 1: been a tough, busy couple of years, you know what
- 55:39Speaker 1: I'm saying. And I'm grateful, so, you know, I look
- 55:42Speaker 1: forward to being able to do more. Is there. I've
- 55:46Speaker 1: been restricted, I've been everything. When did you get off ship?
- 55:51Speaker 1: When did I get off? When did I get it?
- 55:53Speaker 1: It was it twenty nineteen, Noah, I was twenty so
- 55:57Speaker 1: you got parole. I got it was right before COVID,
- 56:00Speaker 1: But right before right before COVID. It was fucking January,
- 56:03Speaker 1: right before COVID jumped a couple months later. Yep, yeah, yeah,
- 56:09Speaker 1: so you were just like that was like your first
- 56:11Speaker 1: time being shoutout Prince Holloway free from the system in
- 56:14Speaker 1: almost twenty years, right and Jack MacMan, Yeah, that was it.
- 56:17Speaker 1: I walked out of there, was like, fuck you never
- 56:19Speaker 1: coming back. I was like, damn, I go do something
- 56:22Speaker 1: and get right out. Terrible, terrible mentality. You know. I
- 56:27Speaker 1: didn't do that, but that's you know, ah man shout
- 56:30Speaker 1: out to you. Man. Is there gonna be any other
- 56:35Speaker 1: I mean, like you said you did ship with Green Lantern, Like,
- 56:37Speaker 1: is there any other ideas or thoughts of doing like
- 56:39Speaker 1: another full collapse project within another producer? Yeah fucking right, Yeah,
- 56:46Speaker 1: absolutely there's other producers. They were like you and Darrend,
- 56:48Speaker 1: you would be crazy, yeah, man, real real quick too.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Like I said, man, this should be flowing out of
- 56:54Speaker 1: me like right now and making the best music. You
- 56:56Speaker 1: could put me on like a trap beat. Some kids
- 56:58Speaker 1: put me on like a trap beat the other night,
- 57:00Speaker 1: ain't what's the mask out to wister? Yeah we'll rap
- 57:04Speaker 1: and uh, you know I got right on that ship
- 57:06Speaker 1: and swagged it out. I don't mind putting harmony on
- 57:08Speaker 1: something I do. I feel like lyric. I feel like
- 57:11Speaker 1: I'm acing everybody on that too, on some you know,
- 57:15Speaker 1: not trying to, I mean real rap though, I'm acing shit,
- 57:17Speaker 1: like the best music flowing out of me, the best
- 57:20Speaker 1: shit I'm writing, the best ship. Who's your favorite like
- 57:23Speaker 1: outside of you or your immediate crew? Like, like what
- 57:26Speaker 1: are you just a fan of right now? In hip hop?
- 57:30Speaker 1: Right now? Like who do I listen to? Like? What's
- 57:32Speaker 1: your favorite album this year? How about that that I
- 57:36Speaker 1: that wasn't mine or that you were a part of,
- 57:38Speaker 1: of course, because I'm gonna be in love with mine. Well,
- 57:41Speaker 1: I'm on it, but I'm a big you know Millie's
- 57:43Speaker 1: albums dope. I'm on it though, but that one number one, yeah,
- 57:47Speaker 1: you know, on iTunes and all that shit. Other shit
- 57:50Speaker 1: that came out this year twenty twenty two. Man, this year,
- 57:57Speaker 1: I like what Harry Frog got going with jay Worthy. Yeah,
- 58:00Speaker 1: that album is crazy. Actually, jay Worthy has been on
- 58:03Speaker 1: a crazy run. I met jay Worthy back out here
- 58:06Speaker 1: like with Weed. You know, I was out there with
- 58:09Speaker 1: h He's on, he's on, He's on a fucking crazy run.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Just he's just dropped. I feel like he's ropping a
- 58:14Speaker 1: new album. Every Teeth Push your t album is crazy
- 58:16Speaker 1: this year. I like, yo on some real ship. I'll
- 58:20Speaker 1: be bumping nems and ship thems just fucking fire. I
- 58:24Speaker 1: love Nemes. Man. He's somebody else who we had on
- 58:26Speaker 1: like crazy early and like I'm just so glad he
- 58:28Speaker 1: caught his wave and like people are starting to pay
- 58:30Speaker 1: attention to, like just he's such a ship. Been disrespectful
- 58:33Speaker 1: his music. I feel like he got less disrespectful lately.
- 58:38Speaker 1: And then, uh, there's this kid in Philly, leaf Ward.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I mean this, you know who I've been listening to
- 58:45Speaker 1: a lot dope. Man. All right, man, we'll listen. Uh,
- 58:50Speaker 1: go get the album, no matter what, no matter what. Ship.
- 58:54Speaker 1: That's the hottest shot out this man. Go run that
- 58:56Speaker 1: ship up. I'm sure there's gonna be a whole lot
- 58:58Speaker 1: more music coming soon. The more tour dates maybe yeah, definitely,
- 59:03Speaker 1: definitely definitely album millions on the way maybe yeah. Also, man,
- 59:06Speaker 1: don't forget to go get me on that uh you know,
- 59:08Speaker 1: Black Soprano Family album, Long Live DJ Shay that's yeah. Yeah.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Was there any talking you guys doing a little situation
- 59:15Speaker 1: over there at the BSF. Oh yeah, there's lots of Yeah,
- 59:17Speaker 1: there's lots of uh, lots of things going on. I
- 59:21Speaker 1: mean lots of talk. Would you rather like build your
