- 4:18Speaker 2: I pray draw hearts and minds, Oh God, yes God,
- 4:22Speaker 2: Oh Lord, change destinies, Oh God, Yes God, Oh Lord, Hallelujah,
- 4:27Speaker 2: use this to your glory in Jesus' name. Ay man.
- 4:33Speaker 2: All right, now, this is gonna be a great podcast today.
- 4:39Speaker 2: The title of it is Fragrance of Worship. When Love
- 4:45Speaker 2: pours outs, come on Fragrance of Worship. So we're gonna
- 4:50Speaker 2: see some great insight about our love, our devotion and
- 4:56Speaker 2: when we pour out our worship from the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Now remember this is after the miracle of Lazarus being
- 5:12Speaker 2: raised from the dead. We saw that in the previous
- 5:16Speaker 2: chapter where Jesus wept the shortest verse in the Bible,
- 5:22Speaker 2: even though he had the power, even though he knew
- 5:26Speaker 2: he was going to raise him back up. That doesn't
- 5:29Speaker 2: mean that he's not touched. He's able to do something
- 5:34Speaker 2: about our situation, but he is also able to be
- 5:39Speaker 2: touched by it. He can weep with us, he can sympathize,
- 5:43Speaker 2: he can have compassion upon us, in which I've experienced myself,
- 5:50Speaker 2: the compassion of Almighty God. So hallelujah. All right, let's
- 5:55Speaker 2: dive into it. Chapter twelve, verse one one, Chapter twelve,
- 6:01Speaker 2: verse one, and I'm coming at you from the new
- 6:05Speaker 2: King James. Then six days before the Passover, Jesus came
- 6:11Speaker 2: to bethany where Lazarus was, who had been dead, whom
- 6:18Speaker 2: he had raised from the dead. There they made him
- 6:24Speaker 2: a supper, and Martha served the Lazarus was one of
- 6:32Speaker 2: those who sat at the table with him. Amen, this
- 6:39Speaker 2: is a beautiful sight.
- 6:42Speaker 1: It looks like you lost another one.
- 6:43Speaker 2: A beautiful site of worship where Lazareth, who was in
- 6:50Speaker 2: the grave, is now sitting at the table with the Lord.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil a spikenard,
- 7:06Speaker 2: anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with
- 7:11Speaker 2: her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance
- 7:19Speaker 2: of the oil. Now this is good. Now, so the
- 7:32Speaker 2: question is.
- 7:35Speaker 1: What it looks like you lost.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Another one is spikenard. It is a type of oil.
- 7:50Speaker 2: It is in as eibstential oil, as this devination says,
- 7:58Speaker 2: derived from the roots of that. I can't pronounce this
- 8:05Speaker 2: n A R D O S. I'm just gonna post
- 8:10Speaker 2: this in the live chat. It is deep, woody and
- 8:19Speaker 2: musty scent and has been used since ancient times for
- 8:25Speaker 2: it's calming skin, he drading in hair nourishing properties. Hold on,
- 8:36Speaker 2: let me look this up. The oil is valuable used
- 8:50Speaker 2: as perfume. Okay, all right, sorry about that. I know
- 8:59Speaker 2: that that I butchered that pretty good. But thank god
- 9:06Speaker 2: there's a live chat if you guys want to look
- 9:09Speaker 2: it up. I'm gonna post some of it in the
- 9:11Speaker 2: live chat. But I wanted to get an idea of
- 9:17Speaker 2: what was poured out on Jesus' feet, how much this cost,
- 9:29Speaker 2: and the value of it. And I encourage you also
- 9:33Speaker 2: to do a study on it. Break it down for yourself.
- 9:38Speaker 2: But the spiking NRD was poured out on Jesus' feet.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Now verse for it, but one of his disciples. Judas,
- 9:51Speaker 2: a Scariot, Simon's son, who would betray him, said, why
- 10:00Speaker 2: was this fragrance oil not sold for the three hundred
- 10:06Speaker 2: denari and given to the poor. This, he said, not
- 10:11Speaker 2: that he cared for the poor, but because he was
- 10:16Speaker 2: a thief and had the money box, and he used
- 10:22Speaker 2: to take what was put in it. Wow, he was
- 10:28Speaker 2: a thief and he took man stealing from the lord.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Wow wow Wow. But I mean that's convicting. How many
- 10:37Speaker 2: times do we still ties and offering? Right? We gotta
- 10:42Speaker 2: be careful with this, beloved, But Jesus said, let her alone.
- 10:49Speaker 2: She has kept this for the day of my Dariel.
- 10:52Speaker 2: For the poor you have with you always, but it's
- 10:58Speaker 2: me you do not have. All Now, A great many
- 11:03Speaker 2: of the Jews knew that he was there, and they
- 11:08Speaker 2: came not for Jesus's sake only, but that they might
- 11:12Speaker 2: also see Lazarreth, whom he had raised from the dead.
- 11:18Speaker 2: But the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death
- 11:22Speaker 2: also because on account of him, many of the Jews
- 11:29Speaker 2: went away and believed in Jesus. Wow, why can you
- 11:40Speaker 2: believe the hearts? Can you believe that this man was
- 11:43Speaker 2: raised from the dead, and they want a plot to
- 11:45Speaker 2: put him to death, like this is a losing battle
- 11:50Speaker 2: right here. Man, all right, that's a good spot right here.
- 11:56Speaker 2: To stop for a second and let's break it down. Now.
- 12:05Speaker 2: The sixth day, before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany,
- 12:10Speaker 2: where Lazareth was who had been dead, to whom he
- 12:15Speaker 2: had raised from the dead. Now, Jesus often withdrew to
- 12:20Speaker 2: Bethany before a great movements of his ministry. Bethany was
- 12:27Speaker 2: a safe space, a place of love and of hospitality
- 12:32Speaker 2: for him. A picture of how the Lord rests in
- 12:36Speaker 2: the hearts of those who welcome him. Right, Bethany represents
- 12:42Speaker 2: peace before purpose. Lazareth, Mary and Martha created an atmosphere
- 12:50Speaker 2: where Jesus was honored. Now we must ask ourselves, does
- 12:57Speaker 2: our home invite the present like Bethany our hearts? Do
- 13:06Speaker 2: our hearts invite the Lord and create Bethany. That's a
- 13:16Speaker 2: good prayer to add to your prayer list, Lord, creating
- 13:22Speaker 2: me a heart of Bethany, a place where Jesus is invited,
- 13:28Speaker 2: not only invited, but honored. Amen, do you honor the
- 13:33Speaker 2: presence of God in your own heart? The Bible says
- 13:37Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of us. So
- 13:42Speaker 2: he's right here kicking it. He sees every thought, he
- 13:46Speaker 2: sees every corner, every crevice, every secret. He's right here.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Do we live like we know that he's there? Or
- 13:55Speaker 2: do we forget about him? And God forbid that he
- 13:59Speaker 2: would withdraw his presence from us? Amen? Verse three. Then
- 14:06Speaker 2: Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard anointed,
- 14:12Speaker 2: defeated Jesus, and he wiped his feet with her hair.
- 14:17Speaker 2: The house was filled with fragrance of oil. Mary's act
- 14:24Speaker 2: was extravagant love poured out on our Lord, extravagant love.
- 14:32Speaker 2: An worship always costs something. It's never cheap. True worship
- 14:40Speaker 2: will always cost something. We don't need to offer up
- 14:46Speaker 2: cheap discounted worship. Now, Mary poured out her future, her savings,
- 15:00Speaker 2: her dignity, everything to show her devotion. When you worship,
- 15:11Speaker 2: does your offering feel the room like hers did? Let
- 15:17Speaker 2: me ask you that again. When you worship, does your
- 15:21Speaker 2: offering feel the room? Will? Worship leaves a fragrance others
- 15:28Speaker 2: cannot ignore. Real worship leaves a fragrance that others cannot ignore.
- 15:44Speaker 2: And that's one thing I love about my home church
- 15:47Speaker 2: church that I attend. They are heavy on worship. They
- 15:52Speaker 2: don't play. They teach and preach about worship, real worship.
- 15:58Speaker 2: We need to be able to worship God. Even in
- 16:00Speaker 2: the midst Amen four and six. But one of his disciples,
- 16:08Speaker 2: Judas is Scariot, said, why was this fray? Wasn't this
- 16:13Speaker 2: frak Why wasn't this fragrant oil not sold for three
- 16:19Speaker 2: hundred denarii and given to the poor. This he said,
- 16:24Speaker 2: not that he cared about the poor, but because he
- 16:28Speaker 2: was a thief. Wow, this is deep right here, Judas,
- 16:35Speaker 2: right here, he represents false concern. Let me say that again.
- 16:40Speaker 2: He represents false concern, a person using a good cause
- 16:48Speaker 2: to hide a corrupted heart. That is sad. Watch out
- 16:55Speaker 2: for the spirit of Judas and ministry. It sounds charitable,
- 17:03Speaker 2: but really, on the inside it's selfish. The question isn't
- 17:10Speaker 2: what's logical all the time? The question should be what
- 17:17Speaker 2: is loving? It's not necessarily what's logical, but what will
- 17:26Speaker 2: reveal the love of God? What will reveal the Savior's heart?
- 17:37Speaker 2: That's deep seventy eight. But Jesus said, let her alone.
- 17:48Speaker 2: She has kept this for the date of my burial,
- 17:52Speaker 2: for the poor you have with you always, but me
- 17:57Speaker 2: you do not have always. Now these are polar opposites
- 18:03Speaker 2: of each other. You have Mary poorn ow true worship,
- 18:09Speaker 2: and you have Judas fighting against it. Now Jesus defends
- 18:19Speaker 2: the heart of true worship. He defended her. The world
- 18:24Speaker 2: will always question your devotion when it looks extravagant, but
- 18:33Speaker 2: Heaven will celebrate it. Let me say it again, the
- 18:38Speaker 2: world will always question your devotion, even when it looks extravagant,
- 18:46Speaker 2: but Heaven will celebrate it. Jesus said that she anointed
- 18:50Speaker 2: him for burial. Now, looking John really covers the last
- 18:58Speaker 2: six months of the life of Christ. It gives us
- 19:04Speaker 2: a magnifying glass of his final days here on the earth.
- 19:10Speaker 2: And Mary was tuned in spiritually when others missed it.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Judas missed it. For one, he was a thief, and
- 19:22Speaker 2: he was thinking about, man, how much money I can make,
- 19:26Speaker 2: how much I could gain for myself if I was
- 19:36Speaker 2: able to get my hands on this oil. But Mary,
- 19:45Speaker 2: representing to worship, she was tuned in. She knew that
- 19:51Speaker 2: the time of his burial was at hand. Some revelations
- 19:56Speaker 2: only come through worship in a place of worship, in
- 20:01Speaker 2: a place where we pour out our whole lives, no
- 20:05Speaker 2: matter the cost, we hold nothing back. That is a
- 20:10Speaker 2: picture of true worship. The heart of Judas represents selfishness.
- 20:21Speaker 2: You're not willing to pour out because you don't want
- 20:24Speaker 2: to die to self. You want to gain. The Bible says,
- 20:28Speaker 2: if you want to save your life, you will lose it.
- 20:31Speaker 2: What areas are you trying to keep alive? What areas
- 20:35Speaker 2: are you holding on to selfishness to where you're not
- 20:40Speaker 2: willing to worship the Lord? Hey man? All right? Nine
- 20:54Speaker 2: through eleven. Now, a great many of the Jews knew
- 21:03Speaker 2: that he was there, and they came not for Jesus's
- 21:07Speaker 2: sake only, but that they might also see Lazareth, whom
- 21:12Speaker 2: he had raised from the dead. And I checked this out.
- 21:18Speaker 2: People were coming to see proof. Lazareth was living evidence
- 21:26Speaker 2: of Christ power. Let me say that again, Lazareth was
- 21:33Speaker 2: living evidence of Christ's power. Now, who else is supposed
- 21:42Speaker 2: to be living evidence of Christ power? That's us, beloved.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Lazareth represents the Church. We were once dead, but he raised.
- 22:00Speaker 2: That's from the grave. When you walk out of your tomb,
- 22:08Speaker 2: people will come just to see the change in your life.
- 22:14Speaker 2: You don't have to convince him. Your resurrection is the
- 22:20Speaker 2: testimony that they cannot deny, even to the point where
- 22:31Speaker 2: these Jewish leaders wanted to put him to death. Wow,
- 22:37Speaker 2: that's bold. Why not just say wow, this miracle, like
- 22:41Speaker 2: he raised someone from the dead, Like why not repent,
- 22:46Speaker 2: Like why not believe in him? Why not say wow,
- 22:50Speaker 2: this man has a great power of God. But no,
- 22:53Speaker 2: you want to go put the dude to death. Not
- 22:59Speaker 2: that I'm trying to be so hard on these religious leaders,
- 23:01Speaker 2: but it exposes the depravity of the human heart. We
- 23:06Speaker 2: could find ourselves there, no matter the miracle, but still
- 23:11Speaker 2: harden our hearts. We are not careful a man. All right,
- 23:20Speaker 2: let's pick it up to verse twelve, and we're gonna
- 23:25Speaker 2: take it twelve to all the way to verse nineteen.
- 23:33Speaker 2: The next day, a great multitude that had come to
- 23:35Speaker 2: the feast when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
- 23:41Speaker 2: to the branches of palm trees and went out to
- 23:44Speaker 2: meet him and cried out, Xanna, blessed is he who
- 23:50Speaker 2: comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Then Jesus, when he had found a young donkey, said
- 24:00Speaker 2: on it as it is written, fear not daughter of Zion. Behold,
- 24:08Speaker 2: your king is coming, sitting on a donkey's colt. His
- 24:17Speaker 2: disciples did not understand these things at first, but when
- 24:21Speaker 2: Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were
- 24:27Speaker 2: written about him, and that they had to come that
- 24:33Speaker 2: they had done these things. Therefore, the people who were
- 24:41Speaker 2: with him when he called Lazareth out of the tomb
- 24:45Speaker 2: and raised him from the dead, bore witness for this
- 24:49Speaker 2: reason that people also met him because they heard that
- 24:53Speaker 2: he had done this sign. The Pharisees therefore said amongst themselves,
- 25:00Speaker 2: you see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world
- 25:06Speaker 2: has gone after him. Wow. Like that should be a
- 25:14Speaker 2: sign right there, Right, that should be a sign that
- 25:20Speaker 2: you cannot stop the move of God. Wow. All right,
- 25:28Speaker 2: let's break it down now. We can consider this the
- 25:34Speaker 2: day of declaration, right, the first time Jesus publicly allowed
- 25:39Speaker 2: himself to be proclaimed as king. If you can remember
- 25:44Speaker 2: earlier in the story, if you've been following the podcast
- 25:48Speaker 2: we've talked about, there was a time where they wanted
- 25:52Speaker 2: to make him king by force. They wanted him to
- 25:56Speaker 2: be the type of king that they wanted him to be.
- 26:00Speaker 2: They wanted him to do the things that they thought
- 26:03Speaker 2: that he should be doing. But Jesus slipped away and
- 26:09Speaker 2: he hid himself. I believe there was a couple of
- 26:13Speaker 2: times where Jesus hid himself. He would not allow the
- 26:16Speaker 2: crowd to do this. But at this time, the day
- 26:19Speaker 2: of declaration, it is allowable. This was God's timing the
- 26:26Speaker 2: first time Jesus publicly allowed himself to be proclaimed as king. Now,
- 26:35Speaker 2: this right here was fulfillment of prophecy. For homework, look
- 26:40Speaker 2: up Zachariah nine, verse nine. Jesus entered on a donkey.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Now that's a symbol of peace, not of war. And
- 26:52Speaker 2: the king came on a donkey. He came in peace,
- 26:57Speaker 2: He came humble. The real king of the universe, the
- 27:04Speaker 2: King of Kings, rode in on a donkey because he
- 27:11Speaker 2: wants peace. Don't mistake meekness for weakness. Yeah, I really
- 27:18Speaker 2: want to nail that point in because now is an
- 27:25Speaker 2: opportunity for the world to make peace with the king.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Now is our opportunity to make peace with the King
- 27:38Speaker 2: of Kings and the Lord of lords, because the next
- 27:42Speaker 2: time he returns to the earth in the Book of Revelation,
- 27:46Speaker 2: he's going to be riding on a white horse. This
- 27:50Speaker 2: time he's coming to make war. And beloved, trust me,
- 27:54Speaker 2: you do not want that smoke. This world does not
- 27:59Speaker 2: know what's ahead. If they don't turn, if they don't repent,
- 28:09Speaker 2: and if they refuse to make peace with the king,
- 28:17Speaker 2: it's gonna be game over. Now, we really need to
- 28:21Speaker 2: appreciate this donkey. We really need to appreciate this humble
- 28:26Speaker 2: gesture that he desires to make peace with us. Ay man,
- 28:35Speaker 2: if you're fighting against God, today is your day. Now
- 28:41Speaker 2: is the time for you to make peace. Hallelujah. All right,
- 28:54Speaker 2: let's pick it back up. Where are we, verse twenty
- 29:01Speaker 2: through twenty six. Now there was a certain Greeks. Now
- 29:08Speaker 2: there were certain Greeks among those who came up to
- 29:12Speaker 2: worship at the feast. Then they came to Philip, who
- 29:18Speaker 2: was from that'ssaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, sir,
- 29:26Speaker 2: we wish to see Jesus. Philip came and told Andrew,
- 29:37Speaker 2: and in turn Andrew and Philip told Jesus. But Jesus
- 29:43Speaker 2: answered them, saying, the hour has come that the son
- 29:47Speaker 2: of Man should be glorified. Most assurely, I say to you,
- 29:52Speaker 2: unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground, and dies.
- 29:59Speaker 2: It remained alone. But if it dies, it produces much grain.
- 30:08Speaker 2: He who loves his life will lose it. Now pay
- 30:12Speaker 2: attention to that, he who loves his life will lose it.
- 30:18Speaker 2: And we have judas is Scario. It as the example
- 30:23Speaker 2: of one who would love his life. It caused him
- 30:26Speaker 2: to be a thief and still out of the very
- 30:30Speaker 2: money bag of the Messiah. And it says, he who
- 30:36Speaker 2: hates his life and this world will keep it. Now,
- 30:40Speaker 2: that's Mary. She poured out everything we consider valuable, everything
- 30:45Speaker 2: that we would fight for kill four. She poured it
- 30:50Speaker 2: all out at his feet. But she will find eternal life.
- 31:01Speaker 2: If anyone serves me, let him follow me. And where
- 31:07Speaker 2: I am there my servant will be. Also. That's a
- 31:11Speaker 2: beautiful promise. Right there, Amen, where he is, we shall
- 31:16Speaker 2: be with him. Also, we can be in his presence.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Even now, it's not just future for women go to heaven.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Even now. You're not gonna go to a church where
- 31:30Speaker 2: the presence of God is absent. Hopefully, you're not going
- 31:34Speaker 2: to join a ministry where the spirit is not moving. Hopefully,
- 31:43Speaker 2: if anyone serves me, him, my father will honor.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
- 31:51Speaker 2: If anyone serves Jesus him, my father will honor. All right,
- 32:07Speaker 2: let's go ahead and break this down most as surely
- 32:12Speaker 2: I say to you. Less, a grain of wheat falls
- 32:16Speaker 2: into the ground and dies, it remains alone. That fruit
- 32:24Speaker 2: only comes through death of self. I'm talking about the
- 32:31Speaker 2: fruit of the spirit, alright. It only comes when we
- 32:36Speaker 2: die to self. The process. It hurts, but purpose grows
- 32:44Speaker 2: in darkness. Don't fight the soil. God's planting you for
- 32:57Speaker 2: greater fruit. And say that again, don't fight the soil
- 33:04Speaker 2: because God has planted you for greater fruit. If you
- 33:08Speaker 2: really want to be a fruitful servant in the kingdom,
- 33:15Speaker 2: you have to die to self and we have to
- 33:20Speaker 2: ask a holy spirit. It's all in the mind, right.
- 33:24Speaker 2: A good book I would love to recommend is Battlefield
- 33:27Speaker 2: of the Mind by Joyce Meyer's very good information. I'm
- 33:31Speaker 2: going through this book myself and it's it's revolutionary. Amen.
- 33:40Speaker 2: All right, let's go to verse forty four. Actually know
- 33:54Speaker 2: what I'm talking about Verse twenty seven. All right, let's
- 33:57Speaker 2: go to verse twenty seven. Now, my soul is true,
- 34:01Speaker 2: and what I should what shall I say? Father saved
- 34:05Speaker 2: me from this hour? Now, Jesus is amazing. This shows
- 34:11Speaker 2: his humanity. At times, our souls can be troubled. If
- 34:16Speaker 2: Jesus was troubled, then of course our souls we will
- 34:23Speaker 2: find ourselves in that place. But look at how Jesus
- 34:27Speaker 2: dealt with it. He said, Father saved me from this hour,
- 34:31Speaker 2: but for this purpose I came to this hour. Father,
- 34:36Speaker 2: glorify your name. Then the voice came from heaven, saying,
- 34:42Speaker 2: I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.
- 34:46Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Now that's the Jesus. We see some insight in the
- 34:57Speaker 2: relationship with the Father and with Jesus Christ. A voice
- 35:02Speaker 2: came from heaven saying I have glorified it and will
- 35:07Speaker 2: glorify it again.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Hallelujah.
- 35:10Speaker 2: He will glorify his name. Praise you Lord. I just
- 35:15Speaker 2: love to get some insight between him and the Father
- 35:18Speaker 2: when they're talking. That's beautiful and that's awesome. Therefore, the
- 35:24Speaker 2: people who stood by and heard it said that it
- 35:28Speaker 2: had thundered. Others said, and Angel has spoken to him.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Jesus answered and said, this voice did not come because
- 35:37Speaker 2: of me, but for your sake. Amen. The thing that
- 35:43Speaker 2: I really love and we can see in the life
- 35:46Speaker 2: of Christ is that he's always considering others. He said,
- 35:53Speaker 2: it didn't come for him, but it came for your sake.
- 35:57Speaker 4: Lost another one.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Now is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler
- 36:04Speaker 2: of this world will be cast out. Amen. And we
- 36:10Speaker 2: could see the damage. We can see the torture. We
- 36:15Speaker 2: could see horble things that came from the God of
- 36:24Speaker 2: this world. And where we're reformed. We are referring to
- 36:30Speaker 2: Satan himself. Jesus answered, the voice did not come because
- 36:39Speaker 2: of me, but for your sake. Now the judgment of
- 36:43Speaker 2: this world. Now, the ruler of this world will be
- 36:47Speaker 2: cast out. Thank you. We need to praise God for that.
- 36:54Speaker 2: And I, if I am lifted up from the earth,
- 36:58Speaker 2: will draw all peoples unto myself. He's talking about the cross.
- 37:03Speaker 2: He was lifted up and he's drawn all people unto himself. This,
- 37:08Speaker 2: he said, signifying by what death he will die. We
- 37:14Speaker 2: must preach the Cross, Jesus, on the cross, the miracle
- 37:20Speaker 2: of the Cross. That is what's going to draw people.
- 37:24Speaker 2: If you want your ministry to grow, if you want
- 37:28Speaker 2: to be effective in anything you do for the kingdom,
- 37:33Speaker 2: preach and teach on the Cross. Hey man, this is
- 37:39Speaker 2: where you'll meet the biggest need of humanity at the cross.
- 37:44Speaker 2: So many victories were one at the cross. We have
- 37:47Speaker 2: so many benefits. At the cross, we meet God, we
- 37:53Speaker 2: are restored back to our father. And it says that
- 37:59Speaker 2: all people will be drawn unto myself. The people answered him,
- 38:07Speaker 2: we have heard from the law that the Christ remains forever.
- 38:13Speaker 2: And how can you say the son of man must
- 38:17Speaker 2: be lifted up? Who is the son of man? And
- 38:23Speaker 2: so they must have understood that he was talking about
- 38:29Speaker 2: his death, because they're saying that the law says that
- 38:33Speaker 2: Christ remains forever. So here's the danger of having very
- 38:40Speaker 2: little knowledge, right, Knowing a little bit is dangerous if
- 38:48Speaker 2: you mix it with a lie or a deception. Say,
- 38:52Speaker 2: will use a little bit of the truth to trip
- 38:54Speaker 2: us up. And it was effective to this crowd right here,
- 39:01Speaker 2: verse thirty five. Then Jesus answered, It said to them,
- 39:07Speaker 2: a little while longer. The light is with you, while
- 39:11Speaker 2: you have the light, and man, we can say that
- 39:15Speaker 2: right now, and we're living in the last days, Lets
- 39:19Speaker 2: darkness overtake you. He who walks in darkness does not
- 39:24Speaker 2: know where he is going. Now, sin has the ability
- 39:30Speaker 2: to blind our hearts and minds. We don't know, we
- 39:33Speaker 2: don't see the consequences of it. While you have the light,
- 39:37Speaker 2: believe in the light, that you may become suns of light.
- 39:43Speaker 2: These things Jesus spoke and departed and was hidden from them,
- 39:53Speaker 2: and man Verse thirty seven. But although he had done
- 39:59Speaker 2: so many signs before them, they did not believe in him.
- 40:06Speaker 2: To whom much is given, much is required. Their judgment,
- 40:10Speaker 2: it says, is going to be worse than the other
- 40:13Speaker 2: cities who did not have these signs of miracles, that
- 40:17Speaker 2: the word of Isaiah the Prophet might be fulfilled, which
- 40:21Speaker 2: he spoke, Lord who has believed our report, and to
- 40:27Speaker 2: whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed. Therefore
- 40:32Speaker 2: they could not believe, because Isaiah said again he has
- 40:38Speaker 2: blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, lest they should
- 40:43Speaker 2: see with their eyes, lest they should understand with their hearts,
- 40:49Speaker 2: in turn, so that I should heal them. These things
- 40:55Speaker 2: Isaiah said, when he saw his glory, it spoke of him.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Wow.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Prothetic word that is sad. When you get to the
- 41:09Speaker 2: place where you can't see, you can't believe. People think
- 41:14Speaker 2: that this is just I don't know. They take it
- 41:16Speaker 2: for granted. Belief in God will not be available at
- 41:23Speaker 2: some point for some people. If you resist even it
- 41:28Speaker 2: says that once the rapture happens, those who rejected the truth,
- 41:34Speaker 2: a spirit of delusion will be poured out on them
- 41:36Speaker 2: to where they will have no choice but to believe
- 41:40Speaker 2: in the deception. We don't know how much a privilege
- 41:48Speaker 2: it is to believe in Christ. I am thankful that
- 41:52Speaker 2: I'm a believer. Amen. For nevertheless, even among the rulers,
- 42:02Speaker 2: many believed in him. Now that's good, right there, many
- 42:09Speaker 2: of the believers. So not all the rulers was hating
- 42:13Speaker 2: on him. Some of the rulers believed in him, but
- 42:16Speaker 2: because of the pharisees, they did not confess him lest
- 42:20Speaker 2: they should be put out of the synagod. For they
- 42:25Speaker 2: love the praises of men more than the praises of God. Men,
- 42:34Speaker 2: how many of us have been here. This is a
- 42:38Speaker 2: dangerous place to be. To love the praises of men
- 42:43Speaker 2: above the praises of God. This will cause you to compromise.
- 42:48Speaker 2: This will cause you to be in a place where
- 42:52Speaker 2: you deny the Lord, even though in your heart you
- 42:54Speaker 2: believe in him. But you are afraid of people. Think
- 43:01Speaker 2: of people in other countries. There's so much persecution going
- 43:04Speaker 2: on right now the world is just not really reporting it.
- 43:09Speaker 2: In Africa, in China, a lot of people are losing
- 43:13Speaker 2: their lives because of their faith in the Lord. Lord,
- 43:20Speaker 2: help us, help us. Lord to not love the praises
- 43:25Speaker 2: of men more than the praises of God. Forgive us
- 43:29Speaker 2: Lord Man. We're thankful that there's help. Forty four. Then
- 43:36Speaker 2: Jesus cried out and said, he who believes in me
- 43:41Speaker 2: believes not in me, but in him who sent me,
- 43:45Speaker 2: and he who sees me sees him who sent me.
- 43:50Speaker 2: I have come as a light unto the world, that
- 43:54Speaker 2: whoever believes in me should not abide in darkness. And
- 44:00Speaker 2: if anyone hears my words and does not believe, I
- 44:05Speaker 2: do not judge him or I did not come to
- 44:09Speaker 2: judge the world, but to save the world. Hallelujah. Jesus
- 44:15Speaker 2: came to save the world. We are thankful for this
- 44:19Speaker 2: king who humbled himself rode on a donkey because his
- 44:24Speaker 2: desire was to save us. He has every right and
- 44:29Speaker 2: ability to judge us, but he has come to save us.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Verse forty eight. He who rejects me and does not
- 44:40Speaker 2: receive my words, this is a memory verse. This is
- 44:45Speaker 2: a verse we need to highlight we need to put
- 44:47Speaker 2: up on the wall. We need to share this with
- 44:50Speaker 2: our loved ones. He who rejects me and does not
- 44:55Speaker 2: receive my words has that which judges him that I
- 45:01Speaker 2: have spoken will judge him in the last day. I
- 45:06Speaker 2: have not spoken of my own authority, But the Father
- 45:11Speaker 2: who sent me gave me a command what I should
- 45:17Speaker 2: say and what I should speak. And I know that
- 45:22Speaker 2: his command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just
- 45:29Speaker 2: as the Father has told me, so I speak. Amen, Hallelujah.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Let's wrap this up. We just went through a whole
- 45:40Speaker 2: another chapter today. Praise God. And right here Jesus really
- 45:50Speaker 2: he is summarizing his mission. Right I have come as
- 45:55Speaker 2: a light into the world that whoever believes in me
- 46:00Speaker 2: should not abide in darkness. This is the heart of
- 46:05Speaker 2: the Gospel. Light came into darkness, and those who believe
- 46:12Speaker 2: walk in life. Jesus didn't just shine on us, He
- 46:20Speaker 2: shines through us. You are now the reflection of the
- 46:26Speaker 2: same light in a dark culture. Let me say that again.
- 46:33Speaker 2: You are now a reflection of the same light living
- 46:39Speaker 2: in a dark culture. That's one of the things we
- 46:44Speaker 2: say about his hot radio is that we are the
- 46:48Speaker 2: light of las Vegas. We want the Lord to shine
- 46:52Speaker 2: in and through us to reach our community. Amen, hallelujah
- 47:00Speaker 2: the Gospel of John. We'll be back right after this.
- 47:06Speaker 4: You are listening to the light. If you lost focus,
- 47:08Speaker 4: this is the His Hop radio show.
- 47:22Speaker 2: We Go.
- 47:24Speaker 5: I need you to let them go. I need you
- 47:26Speaker 5: to let them flow. I need you to let them go.

- 47:40Speaker 5: you to let them go. I need you to let
- 47:42Speaker 5: them I need you to let them go for their snakes.
- 47:46Speaker 5: I need you to shake them out of place. I
- 47:48Speaker 5: look below, I see him standing in my space. These
- 47:51Speaker 5: folks around me, y'all know soon it might be faith.
- 47:53Speaker 2: If that's the case, I.
- 47:54Speaker 5: Know you're gonna make a way to tell me who.
- 47:56Speaker 5: And if it had been nothing Blue, I only thank
- 47:58Speaker 5: you with the blessing to me finding nothing. People know
- 48:01Speaker 5: my walking. When they ain't they much shoot. But when
- 48:03Speaker 5: they shot, they'll only realize them propect this, so they lose.
- 48:05Speaker 5: Ain't no what defend the prospal sois Slider got this
- 48:08Speaker 5: dress from my father. Everything she do, we thought it.
- 48:11Speaker 5: Even when they don't applaud it. He don't only win
- 48:13Speaker 5: that say so, then your pingus don't bother because I
- 48:15Speaker 5: already forgot him. There are the snakes. I need you
- 48:17Speaker 5: to let him go. I need you to let him flow.
- 48:19Speaker 5: I need you to let him go. Perpul the snakes.
- 48:22Speaker 5: I need you to let him go. I need you
- 48:24Speaker 5: to let him flow. I need you to let him go.
- 48:26Speaker 2: Spure the snakes.
- 48:27Speaker 5: I need you to let him go. I need you
- 48:29Speaker 5: to let him flow. I need you to let him go.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Serpul the snakes.
- 48:33Speaker 5: I need you to let him go. I need you
- 48:34Speaker 5: to let him flow. I need you to let him go.
- 48:37Speaker 5: Prevel sneaks, revered snakes, Yeah, reverted snakes.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Kid, your message has been received.
- 49:09Speaker 4: You are listening to the light.
- 49:11Speaker 2: I've lost this.
- 49:12Speaker 4: This is the hiss hop radio show. That looks like
- 49:17Speaker 4: you lost another one.
- 49:20Speaker 2: All right, all right, we are back. That is our
- 49:23Speaker 2: sister kid. Lee Will revealed the snakes. Judas Is Scariot
- 49:32Speaker 2: showed us what it's like to live for self, and
- 49:41Speaker 2: Marry showed us what is truly like to be a
- 49:47Speaker 2: true worshiper, Amen, a true worshiper. That's time for the
- 49:56Speaker 2: Accountability Partners segment. We want to come alongside you with
- 50:04Speaker 2: your walk with the Lord. Hopefully you have someone in
- 50:08Speaker 2: your life, a pastor, a mentor, a parent, a leader
- 50:13Speaker 2: in the church, a small group. Maybe you know you
- 50:17Speaker 2: can treat this podcast like a small group, right because
- 50:21Speaker 2: most churches, especially large churches, you get so big to
- 50:25Speaker 2: where you feel lost in a crowd. But there's also
- 50:30Speaker 2: churches they have small groups that they can reach and
- 50:36Speaker 2: touch you on a personal level. It's very beneficial people
- 50:40Speaker 2: open up their homes join these small groups, or you
- 50:44Speaker 2: can really deal with issues and get personal and get
- 50:48Speaker 2: that person want to want help. Well, this is your
- 50:51Speaker 2: small group podcasts. You know what I'm saying, your small

- 51:15Speaker 2: go through it. It's good for just doing a self check,
- 51:18Speaker 2: especially if you're trying to get over some besetting sin.
- 51:22Speaker 2: It could be alcohol, drugs, sex, glut me whatever, whatever
- 51:28Speaker 2: it may be. And what helps is when you have
- 51:32Speaker 2: someone to help you be held accountable, someone that will
- 51:35Speaker 2: check on you and say, hey, have you resistant temptation today?
- 51:39Speaker 2: How is your disciplines? You know, how is your walk
- 51:42Speaker 2: with the Lord? And when you know you have somebody
- 51:45Speaker 2: like that in your life, that will help you because
- 51:47Speaker 2: you don't want to say, oh, man, you know I
- 51:50Speaker 2: messed up, or you don't want to be hiding right.
- 51:53Speaker 2: You got to have integrity. You gotta be honest if
- 51:55Speaker 2: you truly want to change and get people that love you,
- 51:59Speaker 2: people want to see you. Make it right. Now. You
- 52:06Speaker 2: can fill that out and then you can request a
- 52:08Speaker 2: follow up and myself or someone from his high team
- 52:12Speaker 2: will hit you up either by text or email or
- 52:16Speaker 2: maybe a call and pray with you and help you
- 52:19Speaker 2: walk through it and to get the victory and to
- 52:22Speaker 2: maintain it. It is one thing. It's one thing to
- 52:25Speaker 2: get prayed for it and go back to that life.
- 52:28Speaker 2: It's another thing to get prayed for and learn how
- 52:30Speaker 2: to maintain develop new habits, new godly disciplines so that
- 52:36Speaker 2: you can go to even greater heights in your faith. Amen.
- 52:40Speaker 2: That's our purpose. And so here is the challenge and
- 52:44Speaker 2: the question today is what the last time your worship
- 52:48Speaker 2: cost you something? Did it cost you your time? Did
- 52:54Speaker 2: it cost you your pride? Did you have to humble yourself?
- 52:57Speaker 2: Did it cost you some comfort? What oil are you
- 53:01Speaker 2: holding back from God? Now? Encourage your accountability partner this
- 53:07Speaker 2: week to step into a worship moment that's all in,
- 53:12Speaker 2: no holding back. It's time to go all in, beloved.
- 53:16Speaker 2: It's time to be like Mary and pour out our
