- 0:05Speaker 1: Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest Boy Riatta one
- 0:11Speaker 1: or two point seven, it is kiss I've am good morning,
- 0:15Speaker 1: Good morning. So my coffee was at bus this morning.
- 0:20Speaker 1: It's kicking now. But last night what I normally do.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I told you, I put my coffee maker in my room.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Game changer. It's a drip. It's a simple drip.
- 0:30Speaker 2: You're pretty soon it's gonna be like in your bed.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Oh clo, oh my gosh, that's it. In ten years.
- 0:36Speaker 1: That's as far as I'm going to get my coffee
- 0:38Speaker 1: before I get out of bed. So the drip is there.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I can smell the coffee at Night's great, so I
- 0:43Speaker 1: kind of get excited when I smell the coffee. Anyway,
- 0:46Speaker 1: I don't know if that's good for you. It's great.
- 0:48Speaker 3: What is it?
- 0:49Speaker 4: I think that aroma is actually quite The aroma doesn't
- 0:51Speaker 4: have any I'm not doing like the caffeine though.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Okay, I don't know that, but I don't think so
- 0:57Speaker 1: that's what I would say. I didn't sleep, I don't know.
- 0:59Speaker 1: But but anyway, you know, when you have to fill
- 1:02Speaker 1: water up in the tank, So I didn't feel it
- 1:06Speaker 1: as I filled it half to what I normally do.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I didn't realize that I made the coffee came out
- 1:10Speaker 1: like tar this morning, and I drank it because I
- 1:14Speaker 1: didn't have time to remake. So I'm just warning you.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I'm feeling it right now. But I there is a
- 1:20Speaker 1: crash on the cusp. There's got to be a crash
- 1:23Speaker 1: coming out too, Jolty.
- 1:24Speaker 3: I had issues with my coffee this morning too. It's like,
- 1:28Speaker 3: no mine.
- 1:28Speaker 4: I just didn't have time to make my almond milk,
- 1:30Speaker 4: and so I'm drinking this.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Who has time to make almond milk? Anyway? Take almond milk.
- 1:37Speaker 3: It takes ten minutes.
- 1:39Speaker 1: You need a nuts bag. You need you need to
- 1:41Speaker 1: soak your nuts, and they need a nut bag.
- 1:43Speaker 3: They need to drain them soak the nuts, and so.
- 1:46Speaker 1: That doesn't take ten minutes. Soaking nuts doesn't take ten minutes.
- 1:48Speaker 3: The whole thing.
- 1:49Speaker 5: All.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I know how to make almond milk.
- 1:51Speaker 3: It's not hard, and I do it every five I.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Don't eat just but why don't you just how much?
- 1:56Speaker 3: It's like one of my pleasures in.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Life, really how interesting? Just like the way I like
- 2:01Speaker 1: to garden, you like to make home.
- 2:03Speaker 3: I'm drinking coffee from this can? Are you guarded?
- 2:06Speaker 1: No? She didn't even question that her coffee is not
- 2:10Speaker 1: taken in yet. Yeah, thank you for paying attention. I
- 2:12Speaker 1: don't garden he guarded. No, I don't guard it. Yes,
- 2:15Speaker 1: like that, Tanya. Have you ever spent time with me?
- 2:21Speaker 3: Not enough lately, tb h.
- 2:23Speaker 1: It's the wrong question, Ryan, wrong question exactly. All right,
- 2:27Speaker 1: So your coffee is fine now? Are we good? No?
- 2:30Speaker 3: It's gross and I don't even feel like it's working.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Well, it's clearly not. Yeah. I don't trust people who
- 2:37Speaker 1: don't drink coffee. Sist you drink it occasionally, so I
- 2:41Speaker 1: trust you.
- 2:42Speaker 3: I drink it this morning, so you can.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Trust me today. I trust you're you're on it today.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna kiss FM. All right. How's it going this summer?
- 2:53Speaker 1: Are you enjoying it? I have to say that now
- 2:55Speaker 1: that the fourth is over, it's going to go too fast.
- 2:58Speaker 1: So we need to be pressed it and live in
- 3:00Speaker 1: it and savor it. Christmas, it's not quite that extreme yet.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Christmas balls last weekend because everything was on side.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Because it's all right good, I mean, that's fun to
- 3:12Speaker 1: like start thinking about it now, like I want to
- 3:14Speaker 1: play the Mariah song. Now you know, so at six
- 3:18Speaker 1: fifty five, if you're trying to get in shape this summer,
- 3:21Speaker 1: I'll take you about some aromas that could cut cravings. Now,
- 3:24Speaker 1: Ciciny is not trying to get in shape. You're in
- 3:26Speaker 1: great shape. You're you're changing up your workout. Taking hip
- 3:30Speaker 1: hop classes your following suit. I took what I take.
- 3:33Speaker 1: What I took classes to what I saw would I
- 3:35Speaker 1: took with Julie. I took SALTSA classes back in the
- 3:38Speaker 1: day with Julianne. We lasted. She was great. That's a problem.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I shouldn't have taken a class with the Dancing with
- 3:43Speaker 1: the Stars pro.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Who doesn't know you now?
- 3:46Speaker 1: Oh look at you holding the.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Wow from twenty minutes ago.
- 3:51Speaker 1: And it wasn't Julianne. FYI plot twist. It wasn't Juliana.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It was obs Oh.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it was more recent.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Anyways, is into hip hop classes. So I got tell
- 4:05Speaker 1: me why and where and when and what you got
- 4:07Speaker 1: to do something for us here for the video.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I met somebody that like she was like, oh, I
- 4:11Speaker 2: teach at Equinox and I you know, it's all types
- 4:15Speaker 2: of dance, and I was like, god, I haven't taken
- 4:16Speaker 2: a dance class in so long.
- 4:18Speaker 1: So I went.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I took her class and it was a hip hop
- 4:20Speaker 3: you know.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Scene that day, and I was feeling it like I
- 4:24Speaker 2: was in it and like yes, oh h doing all
- 4:28Speaker 2: the moves, hitting, And at the end she goes, you know,
- 4:31Speaker 2: we're not allowed to film in class. She's like, but
- 4:33Speaker 2: whoever wants to stay and do it one more time,
- 4:36Speaker 2: I'll let you guys post up your video, post up.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Your cameras to film yourself. I'm thinking in my head
- 4:40Speaker 1: like I'm going to film this and I'm going.
- 4:41Speaker 3: To post it, and so I do.
- 4:45Speaker 6: And I watched the video and I it did not
- 4:48Speaker 6: look as good as I thought it was looking it,
- 4:52Speaker 6: you know, like never does, never dies, it never.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Does, so I don't know the video will ever see
- 4:58Speaker 1: the light of day. It's the same thing like when
- 5:03Speaker 1: I do one of my exercise moves that they're like
- 5:05Speaker 1: a workout move. I think it's so good and my
- 5:08Speaker 1: form is so right. Then I see myself hunched over,
- 5:11Speaker 1: shoulders cramped up. I'm like, wait a minute, that's really
- 5:15Speaker 1: what I look like.
- 5:16Speaker 2: That's all I could see in the video too. I
- 5:18Speaker 2: was just like picking apart my body and being like,
- 5:20Speaker 2: oh my gosh, my lords, and it's like yeah, and
- 5:22Speaker 2: it's and I don't know if it looks that bad,
- 5:24Speaker 2: but in my head, it did look that bad.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So I commend people who don't go to that one
- 5:31Speaker 1: comment and obsessed about that one negative comment. Yeah, I
- 5:34Speaker 1: commend people who don't just look at the bad, the
- 5:37Speaker 1: negative and things to fix because I don't know why,
- 5:39Speaker 1: but I am trained to go just look at what
- 5:42Speaker 1: needs to be better with everything. Me too. I'm just
- 5:45Speaker 1: like I wish, I.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Wish my shirt wasn't so far up, and I wish
- 5:48Speaker 2: my pants would have been higher, and I.
- 5:49Speaker 7: Was just like, I'm just pick each other apart.
- 5:52Speaker 1: And I even like with things at work, it's like
- 5:55Speaker 1: we're always talking about what we need to do better
- 5:57Speaker 1: or get right versus what we did okay or did
- 6:01Speaker 1: you know well or had fun doing And we need
- 6:04Speaker 1: to be better at just complimenting something or somebody that
- 6:08Speaker 1: is good? Right, So where can I can you do something?
- 6:11Speaker 1: I'll play that song again, let.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Me see it now, we got videos, you guys, the video,
- 6:15Speaker 5: let me.
- 6:15Speaker 3: See the moves.
- 6:16Speaker 1: No no, no, I need it live. I don't need
- 6:18Speaker 1: a video. You're right here, You're right here.
- 6:21Speaker 7: I don't remember the name.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Oh come on, don't bring up hip hop dance class
- 6:26Speaker 1: and not expect a performance here in the studio this morning.
- 6:28Speaker 1: We're gonna right now. It was for MACA.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Digital Teams already, like we need this video, blah blah blah.
- 6:37Speaker 1: We're gonna get you up before ten o'clock in the studio.
- 6:40Speaker 3: I feel like y'all and you guys.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Can just okay and I'll post.
- 6:45Speaker 1: It's pretty good at this hip hop dance And just
- 6:51Speaker 1: watching the video she gave us, it's kiss FM. She's
- 6:54Speaker 1: taking a hip hop class and she shot a video
- 6:56Speaker 1: and then she watched it back and decided it wasn't
- 7:00Speaker 1: synct enough to post. I think it looks awesome.
- 7:05Speaker 7: I do. It's just you're just left.
- 7:07Speaker 1: You do not, you do not. You just left her
- 7:09Speaker 1: in her.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Face because I can tell how hard you're con I
- 7:14Speaker 4: can tell in your face how hard you're concentrating to
- 7:17Speaker 4: remember the.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Moves and so cute. This is going to post before
- 7:22Speaker 1: seven o'clock.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Okay, it's gonna happen.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Okay, all right, let's post this up before seven o'clock.
- 7:26Speaker 1: You'll see. I'm proud, like I love that you went
- 7:29Speaker 1: and did that because it's fun. You look like you're
- 7:33Speaker 1: thirteen in a dance crew. You know, it's great exercise,
- 7:37Speaker 1: and frankly, it is a good skill to have. I
- 7:39Speaker 1: wish I could break out hip hop dancing when I
- 7:41Speaker 1: met parties and stuff like that. I'll go on tour
- 7:43Speaker 1: with Harry Styles or something, you know exactly. It's a
- 7:46Speaker 1: great thing to be able to do, to be able
- 7:48Speaker 1: to dance. I'm always in like embarrassed that I have
- 7:50Speaker 1: no bob, I bob my head. I have no moves.
- 7:53Speaker 1: You don't get out there and dance at your wedding, Tanya.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It was so terrified when you pushed me into the
- 8:00Speaker 1: circle and I was dancing, I was pushed into the circle.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I had to do a solo dance at Tanya's wedding.
- 8:07Speaker 1: No hip hop classes. I don't know what song was putting.
- 8:10Speaker 7: You were amazing.
- 8:11Speaker 1: If you think, why are you laughing at her? Because
- 8:14Speaker 1: she actually does look like she's on.
- 8:15Speaker 3: The mark, I wasn't laughing at you.
- 8:17Speaker 4: I just think it's okay, cute how I can tell
- 8:19Speaker 4: you're concentrating.
- 8:21Speaker 1: But it's a good outlet. We need to, you know,
- 8:23Speaker 1: don't they say, like do something that makes you feel
- 8:25Speaker 1: like a kid again. We need to do that. It
- 8:27Speaker 1: was so fun, That's the thing.
- 8:29Speaker 2: At the end of the day, I had so much fun,
- 8:31Speaker 2: and I was very sore the next day.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I'm told Mark, is it up? I'm told it's top.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Where is it? It's up? At our Instagram, at Ryan on
- 8:39Speaker 1: Air with Ryan. Do yourself a favor and enjoy and
- 8:41Speaker 1: get inspired to do something yourself and be kind please
- 8:45Speaker 1: all right, if you are having cravings this summer, I
- 8:48Speaker 1: read something about aromas that might cut those cravings. I'm
- 8:52Speaker 1: a two point seven kiss FM. Now are you trying
- 8:56Speaker 1: to just stay in shape? Sistney's doing hip hop class? Great,
- 8:59Speaker 1: what fantastic exercise. If you get cravings, now, the problem
- 9:03Speaker 1: with like the sun being up later, I get hungry
- 9:05Speaker 1: later because the sun is up and I want to snack. Yes,
- 9:09Speaker 1: it's the sun's fault. Yeah, I'm in the pantry because
- 9:12Speaker 1: the sun's still up. That's the problem. So if you
- 9:15Speaker 1: want to cut the cravings, they say, try smelling these
- 9:18Speaker 1: things and it could help with the cravings. Smell olive oil, really,
- 9:22Speaker 1: smell green apples, and smell garlic. Garlic would hungry. I'm
- 9:29Speaker 1: just gonna say, funny thing is. I kind of like
- 9:30Speaker 1: all that stuff and the garlic would make me want
- 9:32Speaker 1: to cook something. So but I guess it has to
- 9:34Speaker 1: do with your brain, your factory, olive oil, green apples, garlic.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Today's quote do you cry? I cry? You know what,
- 9:42Speaker 1: Cry as much as you want. But when you stop crying,
- 9:45Speaker 1: make sure you never cry for the same reason again.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Like that. That's powerful door. Yeah, it's okay to cry,
- 9:54Speaker 1: but not for the same thing again. Kiss FM State Side.
- 9:58Speaker 1: That is the song that Systney's taking hip hop classes too.
- 10:04Speaker 1: The video is up. It's called people are loving it.
- 10:06Speaker 1: You know. It's nice to let loose and don't ever
- 10:09Speaker 1: be embarrassed about having fun. Right If anyboy makes fun
- 10:13Speaker 1: of you having fun, they're not having fun.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I saw them, not you, and I'm Bear's about
- 10:17Speaker 2: taking the class and being in the class. That was
- 10:19Speaker 2: a lot of fun. It's it's the scariness to post
- 10:22Speaker 2: it out.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I just walk away, put it up there for us
- 10:25Speaker 1: to see and walk away. I know, I know people
- 10:29Speaker 1: are loving it all right, here's the deal. BTS tickets
- 10:31Speaker 1: in a second and we have a second date update
- 10:33Speaker 1: on the way they met it. Trader Joe's Tani is
- 10:35Speaker 1: a trending report though right now.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Yeah, so I know Taylor and Travis's wedding was very public.
- 10:39Speaker 4: We saw photos, we heard a lot of stories from
- 10:41Speaker 4: the wedding. But something they're keeping super on the deal
- 10:44Speaker 4: is their honeymoon plans. So they're keeping their honeymoon on
- 10:48Speaker 4: the DL. But there are some rumors out there. So
- 10:51Speaker 4: the flexible travel route is rumor to span the Bahamas,
- 10:56Speaker 4: then they're going to hit Italy.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Then the first the flexible travel route is that it?
- 11:00Speaker 4: Yeah, that was something no, like it could change, like
- 11:03Speaker 4: if you can find them, they might move on with somebody.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Oh, so they've So what you're saying is it's reportedly
- 11:08Speaker 1: that they booked these places, but they've got pivots along
- 11:11Speaker 1: the way, correct, So this is all alleged.
- 11:14Speaker 4: But they start in the Bahamas, then they go to Italy,
- 11:16Speaker 4: then they go to the French Riviera, and then they
- 11:19Speaker 4: go to Croatia because Travis has roots in Croatia. Then
- 11:23Speaker 4: they had degrees and they finish it all off in
- 11:25Speaker 4: Singapore and Australia.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Wow, so well now that that's out, none of that
- 11:30Speaker 1: will happen. Yeah, they'll be pivoting immediately and.
- 11:33Speaker 4: They're doing it now because Travis goes back to uh
- 11:36Speaker 4: to play football to play football at the end of July,
- 11:39Speaker 4: so it sounds like they're basically going to do this
- 11:41Speaker 4: until he goes back to Is it camp?
- 11:42Speaker 3: Is it camp?
- 11:44Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 11:44Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Camp?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Okay, I mean I think you had preseason like early August,
- 11:50Speaker 2: so yeah, I mean, it's like football now.
- 11:51Speaker 4: But my friends and I were talking about honeymoon's and
- 11:53Speaker 4: just like how special they are. And a friend of
- 11:56Speaker 4: mine just did another honeymoon five years after her wedding
- 11:59Speaker 4: because she didn't actually have a honeymoon, and she was like,
- 12:01Speaker 4: I think people who are married should have honeymoons every
- 12:05Speaker 4: five years, where you take just a chunk of time
- 12:07Speaker 4: that you can't and you're you're super intentional with your
- 12:10Speaker 4: partner because it is so it's such a special time
- 12:13Speaker 4: and it's like once in a lifetime.
- 12:14Speaker 3: But then why does it have to be once in
- 12:15Speaker 3: a lifetime. No, it doesn't have to be.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Save up for it and celebrate whenever you can afford
- 12:20Speaker 1: to do it. As a matter of fact, I was
- 12:22Speaker 1: on vacation and Tanya brought her honeymoon to me.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true. I brought my honeymoon to you. But
- 12:27Speaker 3: I didn't know I was bringing my honeymoon.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I didn't know. We booked the same hotel. By the way, Yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 1: as the honeymooners. It's good to see you for an hour,
- 12:34Speaker 1: and I had to go. I can't get away of that.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It's have you ever met somebody at the grocery store?
- 12:41Speaker 1: Madics in your single? I ever met someone our intern
- 12:43Speaker 1: at the grocery store?
- 12:45Speaker 7: I would say. The Trader Joe's workers are pretty flirty.
- 12:47Speaker 1: So are they? The Trader Jows workers are on the
- 12:50Speaker 1: flirt See I find the lighting harsh.
- 12:54Speaker 2: No, they're just friendly. They're like told to be friendly.
- 12:56Speaker 2: They have to say, like one compliment or ask you a.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Question like that's true. They give you a comp I'm
- 13:00Speaker 1: going today.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Not a compliment, but they have to be like, what
- 13:02Speaker 2: are you gonna be doing for the rest of your day?
- 13:04Speaker 2: That has to be like a question or you have
- 13:05Speaker 2: to answer with us.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Yes, fantastic, so Elijah says to us. We met at
- 13:11Speaker 1: Trader Joe's. We both reached for the last carton of cherries.
- 13:15Speaker 1: How romantic I got of a movie? He said. I
- 13:18Speaker 1: let her have him then ask for her number. But
- 13:20Speaker 1: I was on my way to meet her for the
- 13:22Speaker 1: date and she canceled and has not responded. This is
- 13:26Speaker 1: like so common. I keep hearing these stories of people
- 13:31Speaker 1: canceling in these second updates and then not responding with
- 13:33Speaker 1: like anything nice. Just it's just rude. If you can't go,
- 13:37Speaker 1: you can't go. But it's just rude not to say
- 13:41Speaker 1: something about it. Elijah, I'm with you on this. Here's
- 13:43Speaker 1: the thing. If she said she's gonna go out, you're
- 13:46Speaker 1: on the way to the date, she doesn't show up,
- 13:49Speaker 1: or she cancels and then doesn't tell you why or
- 13:51Speaker 1: respond when you try and check. That's kind of rude
- 13:54Speaker 1: to me, Bro, Why do you want to go out
- 13:55Speaker 1: with her again?
- 13:57Speaker 9: I think it's a case of just nerves and that
- 14:00Speaker 9: maybe she got a little bit into her head and
- 14:03Speaker 9: is overthinking the situation. But once she got a minute
- 14:06Speaker 9: to actually, like face to face interact with me, that
- 14:09Speaker 9: this would all smooth over.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Well, you're giving her the benefit of the doubt. I
- 14:13Speaker 1: would move on.
- 14:13Speaker 9: Bro.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I would like, I don't know what you're looking for,
- 14:16Speaker 1: but I'm looking for some of the capital K kind.
- 14:21Speaker 9: I'm just saying, okay, okay, It's just that when we
- 14:26Speaker 9: met in person, I felt like we had an instant connection.
- 14:29Speaker 9: There was like, I don't know, it was like a
- 14:33Speaker 9: romantic comedy. We had a meet cue like we were
- 14:35Speaker 9: making eye contact, we were smiling at each other.
- 14:38Speaker 1: It was the I get all that that's beautiful. I
- 14:41Speaker 1: love that part that carries the cart in the last one,
- 14:42Speaker 1: Trader Joe's all. That's right out of a movie. But
- 14:45Speaker 1: for somebody that cancels and then doesn't respond, they're just
- 14:48Speaker 1: not nice. Elijah, what is it about Melissa that you.
- 14:51Speaker 9: Liked other than the fact that she's crazy attractive? No,
- 15:00Speaker 9: that would be it right off the gate.
- 15:02Speaker 1: That's it. She's hot, all right? Got it? So she's hot.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Wants to go out with her even though she's blown
- 15:06Speaker 1: him off, he still wants to go out with her.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I mean, if that's not a dude, I don't know
- 15:10Speaker 1: what is right? I mean, what is she to you?
- 15:14Speaker 1: What did you like about her? She's all right? Next
- 15:20Speaker 1: we'll call her kiss FM? Good morning. Hey, So it's
- 15:25Speaker 1: Ryan Secrets Disney Tany in the back room. When you
- 15:28Speaker 1: meet someone and they blow you off, do you really
- 15:30Speaker 1: want to know why? I don't think I do. I
- 15:33Speaker 1: mean I say that often. I don't think I do.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Some people do Elijah does. He met this girl Melissa
- 15:39Speaker 1: at Trader Joe's and got her number. They made a
- 15:44Speaker 1: date and on the way she canceled, and then he
- 15:46Speaker 1: tried to talk to her afterwards or text her afterwards,
- 15:48Speaker 1: and she's not responding to him, And I'm thinking, well,
- 15:51Speaker 1: why do you want to go out with somebody that
- 15:52Speaker 1: treats you like that? And he said, because she's attractive?
- 15:57Speaker 1: So Elijah, what else about Melissa other than on our
- 16:00Speaker 1: physical beauty did you like?
- 16:03Speaker 9: Well, it's obviously we have a similar diet, we have a.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Similar routines, similar routine, similar store.
- 16:12Speaker 3: They met for two seconds.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Credibility is off the charts, all right, So Elijah, we
- 16:17Speaker 1: are going to put her on the air. She's on
- 16:18Speaker 1: the line and find out why she has decided to
- 16:22Speaker 1: blow you off and not even try to go out
- 16:24Speaker 1: with you after this romantic moment with the cherry carton
- 16:28Speaker 1: the Trader Joe's. Elijah, hold on, be very quiet, bringing
- 16:31Speaker 1: in Melissa him. Melissa, good morning, it's Ryan Seacrest and
- 16:34Speaker 1: Sisney and Tanny. You're on Kiss FM. How are you
- 16:37Speaker 1: I'm doing well? How are you very good? Thanks for asking.
- 16:41Speaker 1: We're calling about a guy you met it Trader Joe's.
- 16:44Speaker 1: His name is Elijah. Do you remember that moment lies you're
- 16:50Speaker 1: shopping cherries?
- 16:54Speaker 10: Oh, the cherry guy.
- 16:56Speaker 8: Yes, yes, you're the cherry guy. Did you never actually
- 17:00Speaker 8: went out?
- 17:01Speaker 1: Did you give me your number?
- 17:04Speaker 8: I did?
- 17:05Speaker 9: I did?
- 17:06Speaker 1: I did give my number, and then.
- 17:09Speaker 8: Uh, well it changed my mind.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Why'd you change your mind? And I'm asking for a
- 17:14Speaker 1: specific reason. Why did you change your mind?
- 17:19Speaker 8: Well, it was this vibe that he was given off.
- 17:29Speaker 8: It was just very short and very clipped. When I
- 17:32Speaker 8: suggested that we go to this certain restaurant, He's like, okay, cool,
- 17:37Speaker 8: And then I had to tell him that I had
- 17:40Speaker 8: to leave early because I forgot I had plans with
- 17:43Speaker 8: some girls. Because this was spur of the moment when
- 17:45Speaker 8: I'm in met Trader Joe's and he's like whatever.
- 17:50Speaker 1: He said to you? He actually said the word whatever
- 17:51Speaker 1: in a text. Yeah, so he's the root one. So
- 17:56Speaker 1: trying to found somebody's route here, somebody's not being so nice.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I'm trying to fire out who I thought it was,
- 18:00Speaker 1: maybe Umanless because you didn't show up and then you
- 18:04Speaker 1: wouldn't respond to his text. But basically he responded to
- 18:08Speaker 1: you by saying whatever, Okay, got it. Did you find
- 18:11Speaker 1: him attractive?
- 18:13Speaker 8: Yes?
- 18:15Speaker 1: What about Elijah is attractive.
- 18:19Speaker 8: He's a good looking guy.
- 18:20Speaker 10: You know, he's he's health conscious, he makes smoothies with
- 18:25Speaker 10: his cherries.
- 18:26Speaker 8: You know, I go to the gym. So there was
- 18:29Speaker 8: a nice little connection going on. You know, I forgot
- 18:33Speaker 8: that I had plans with my girlfriend and I was
- 18:36Speaker 8: attracted to him, so I gave him his number and
- 18:38Speaker 8: I was going to go out.
- 18:40Speaker 1: But I really don't know him, so the yeah, that's
- 18:42Speaker 1: the thing.
- 18:43Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, So the first impression was cool and whatever,
- 18:48Speaker 10: with no emoji, no explanation, point just clipped.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Was not very it's it's so it's just not so
- 18:56Speaker 1: charismatic or sweet or right, it's it's not so friendly.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Solja's on the phone right now, Melissa Jim, So.
- 19:02Speaker 8: He should go the extra mile a little bit.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Here he is. I don't know him well either, but
- 19:06Speaker 1: here he is. He's on the phone. Elijah. Did you
- 19:09Speaker 1: respond to the text like that by saying whatever.
- 19:13Speaker 9: That's not how I meant it.
- 19:15Speaker 7: I was like, you mean it to you?
- 19:17Speaker 1: Just say whatever.
- 19:20Speaker 9: I meant it in like.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I'm easy going. That was yeah, I was right. Well,
- 19:23Speaker 1: then you say no worries whatever, no, but you don't
- 19:26Speaker 1: set it. You just you can't know you if you
- 19:29Speaker 1: want to say whatever, or you're easy going to say
- 19:31Speaker 1: all good, no worries, no problem, next time, let's make
- 19:34Speaker 1: another plan. There you gotta be see. Here's the thing,
- 19:36Speaker 1: Elijah and Melissa. I think you got to be really
- 19:39Speaker 1: crystal clear when you're starting to meet somebody. You've got
- 19:42Speaker 1: to be very deliberate and clear with the words you choose.
- 19:45Speaker 1: When you're starting to get to know somebody, you cannot
- 19:48Speaker 1: leave things for interpretations. It just doesn't work.
- 19:52Speaker 10: It just doesn't want interpretation to make if you don't
- 19:54Speaker 10: know the person, so they have to give you everything.
- 19:58Speaker 10: Just like I was honest and said I have plans
- 20:01Speaker 10: that my girlfriend did eight. I wasn't canceling. I was
- 20:04Speaker 10: just forgot I had those plans.
- 20:06Speaker 1: And I don't feel a lot of warmth here. Elijah Melissa,
- 20:11Speaker 1: you both think each other are attractive people. Do you
- 20:14Speaker 1: want to go out again or should we move on?
- 20:17Speaker 1: I don't think okay, good, I don't think you should.
- 20:22Speaker 1: We're both all of us are going to let everybody go.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Thank you Elijah for reaching out. So let me see
- 20:31Speaker 1: your lock screens. Do you judge people by their lock screens.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Like you ever meet somebody and then you look at
- 20:35Speaker 1: their lock screen and think I can't go out with them,
- 20:38Speaker 1: or I don't think they should be part of my life. Generally,
- 20:41Speaker 1: lock screens are family photos or landscape. Let me, sissy,
- 20:45Speaker 1: you got your kids there, beautiful phot they are growing up.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Beautiful photo. Tanya, you chose your dog over your husband?
- 20:52Speaker 1: Or do you rotate? Do you rotate?
- 20:56Speaker 4: This is a picture from my wedding day and it's
- 20:58Speaker 4: a picture of my dog with her bow and you.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You only see your dog. Ye, wait a minute, is
- 21:06Speaker 1: that you? You have you on your screen? That is
- 21:09Speaker 1: not Okay, you're getting your makeup done.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's such a perfect picture.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Okay, that's a red flag.
- 21:16Speaker 2: It is not you're in the picture done.
- 21:22Speaker 3: In the photo.
- 21:23Speaker 1: It's a blurry barely it's your phone. It's blonde hair
- 21:28Speaker 1: with a makeup brush going across a cheek. Who else
- 21:30Speaker 1: could it be?
- 21:31Speaker 3: Not my face? You can't even see my eyes. It's
- 21:33Speaker 3: like your face.
- 21:34Speaker 4: It's it's me, but it's not like a picture of me.
- 21:37Speaker 4: It's a picture of my dog.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I'm moving on, but that's a red flag. Madison, our
- 21:42Speaker 1: intern was talking about this. You have you met people
- 21:45Speaker 1: and you look at their lock screen and think, okay,
- 21:47Speaker 1: that's a problem. Yes, what have you seen?
- 21:51Speaker 7: I've seen a guy with like a thirst trap photo
- 21:53Speaker 7: of himself.
- 21:55Speaker 1: About people with pictures of themselves on their screen, you
- 21:59Speaker 1: need to move on. That is not You cannot have
- 22:02Speaker 1: you in your lock screen. It's just narcissistic.
- 22:07Speaker 7: Yeah, I agree, Or like a cringey quote where it's like, oh.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I don't mind, what's a cringey?
- 22:12Speaker 3: What is quote?
- 22:14Speaker 1: A fine much better than a picture of yourself.
- 22:17Speaker 4: I do quotes on mine, but I think it's so cringe.
- 22:20Speaker 1: A quote on your what is your lock screen? Intern?
- 22:25Speaker 7: Is of my three or my two friends from college?
- 22:28Speaker 1: Are you in the photo?
- 22:29Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 22:29Speaker 3: I am?
- 22:29Speaker 1: What is what is wrong? What has happened here? Has
- 22:32Speaker 1: this all gone to your heads? MICHAELA Are you on
- 22:37Speaker 1: your phone?
- 22:38Speaker 3: I'm not?
- 22:39Speaker 9: No?
- 22:39Speaker 1: Oh thank goodness for humility. Oh my gosh, Ruby, are
- 22:43Speaker 1: you on your phone? Well, it's my shadow, it's mine
- 22:46Speaker 1: and David saying no, that's artistic. Okay. A couple, A
- 22:50Speaker 1: couple is A couple is fine?
- 22:52Speaker 12: Right?
- 22:53Speaker 1: A couple is fine? No, yours is not. You are
- 22:55Speaker 1: by yourself the only human in the picture getting your
- 22:58Speaker 1: makeup done on your wedding day with your dog in
- 23:00Speaker 1: your lap. It's not okay, stand up for me. I
- 23:07Speaker 1: No one agrees the dog is cute.
- 23:09Speaker 3: It's a picture of my dog, Madison.
- 23:11Speaker 7: Would you not say, gosh? I think if you were
- 23:14Speaker 7: like more zoomed in on your dog, but I can.
- 23:17Speaker 1: More on the dog. I think landscape is a green flag.
- 23:22Speaker 1: What's yours?
- 23:23Speaker 3: Let me see?
- 23:24Speaker 1: Oh gorgeous? And sideway is very artistic landscaping trees all
- 23:30Speaker 1: alive trees. Is my landscape had upside down? Anyway, I'm
- 23:34Speaker 1: glad we discovered this about Tanya. All these years that
- 23:37Speaker 1: she's been married maybe one month and a half and
- 23:39Speaker 1: she's had that. I did not realize that was such
- 23:41Speaker 1: a red flag roches FM. So it's fun. I'm scrolling,
- 23:46Speaker 1: you know, look for stuff to buy and then not
- 23:48Speaker 1: buy it, or buy it if you can afford it
- 23:51Speaker 1: or you need it. But there's a popular trend right
- 23:53Speaker 1: now fake shopping to get a little dopamine rush. But
- 23:57Speaker 1: they're not buying the stuff. What's the fake of shopping?
- 24:00Speaker 2: So the fakeness is the thrill of searching, putting it
- 24:05Speaker 2: in your car, even going through the checkout process. Apparently
- 24:09Speaker 2: it tricks your brain into feeling like you shopped without
- 24:11Speaker 2: spending a single dollar.
- 24:13Speaker 3: You never actually buy anything.
- 24:15Speaker 1: On there, you never get it never comes right.
- 24:17Speaker 2: No, it's sites like Picky Pick and dopamine shopping dot Com.
- 24:21Speaker 2: And apparently it's just the dopamine that hits from the
- 24:24Speaker 2: browsing and the checking and the checking out, and it's
- 24:27Speaker 2: not from getting the packages. So like, the excitement level
- 24:30Speaker 2: is not when you get the package. For us humans, Yeah, really,
- 24:34Speaker 2: it's not when we get it. It's just searching for
- 24:36Speaker 2: it and then what is the excitement? And I kind
- 24:38Speaker 2: of agree though, because I can't tell you how many
- 24:40Speaker 2: times I get package in the mail and I'm just like, oh,
- 24:43Speaker 2: that's what I ordered off of Old Navy the other
- 24:45Speaker 2: day and I'm like, I know what it is. I
- 24:46Speaker 2: don't need to open it right now, and it's like
- 24:49Speaker 2: and it just sits there like in the entryway for days.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I guess that makes a lot of sense. I just
- 24:54Speaker 1: bought a book about relationships and I was like, I
- 24:57Speaker 1: gotta have this immediately. It's a hardback, and I was
- 25:01Speaker 1: like I really want to read, Like I want to
- 25:02Speaker 1: read it tonight now.
- 25:03Speaker 2: You know, do you like the overnight or like paid
- 25:05Speaker 2: extra rush?
- 25:06Speaker 1: Yes, and then it rushes over to you and then
- 25:08Speaker 1: you still haven't opened it. I haven't opened it.
- 25:11Speaker 3: We're gonna need a deep dive into this book next.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Well, was like, well, I'm as soon as I open it,
- 25:15Speaker 1: I would love to tell you about it.
- 25:17Speaker 4: No, no, no, we need to know the title of
- 25:18Speaker 4: it and why you purchased it.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Was it recommended by a certain girl in your life?
- 25:22Speaker 1: I'll give you the title of it.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Was it recommended by a certain girl in your life?
- 25:26Speaker 1: I'll give you the title of it. It's from the
- 25:31Speaker 1: School of Life series.
- 25:32Speaker 8: Oh?
- 25:33Speaker 3: Yes, nice?
- 25:33Speaker 1: Good?
- 25:34Speaker 3: What's it called?
- 25:34Speaker 1: You know, the School's Life Friends?
- 25:35Speaker 3: Yes? Yes, Oh my gosh.
- 25:37Speaker 1: There's so many great books. I haven't opened them yet,
- 25:38Speaker 1: but when I do, Eye Disney, So I might be
- 25:41Speaker 1: someone who could get into this.
- 25:43Speaker 2: I could be too, because like, there's so many times
- 25:45Speaker 2: you online shop and you're like, I actually did not
- 25:47Speaker 2: need to.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Buy that or rush ship it. Then you forget right,
- 25:51Speaker 1: so life goes by and oh my gosh, I forgot
- 25:53Speaker 1: I ordered that. Uh huh all right. So the sites
- 25:55Speaker 1: are uh dopamine shopping dot com.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Yes, and Picky pick, picky.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Pick kiss FM kiss M Tany, have you changed your
- 26:04Speaker 1: lock screen yet? Tiny is a picture of herself on
- 26:06Speaker 1: her lock screen and she thinks that is a green flag.
- 26:09Speaker 4: I do not have a picture of myself. It's a
- 26:11Speaker 4: picture of my dog and I am in the background.
- 26:13Speaker 4: But it's blurry. I'm even blurry in the background.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Would you say that's background? I mean her head is
- 26:18Speaker 1: featured in the photo. My chin.
- 26:21Speaker 3: It's my chin and the bottom of.
- 26:22Speaker 1: My hairs on this it is your face.
- 26:27Speaker 3: No, come on, I can tell it's you.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Well, yes, anyway, The point is we decided that it's
- 26:31Speaker 1: a red flag to have you on your lockown.
- 26:34Speaker 4: I changed I'm not changing it because my dog looks
- 26:37Speaker 4: angelic dog.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I even had a family picture once and I had
- 26:41Speaker 2: to take it down because I was like, this isn't
- 26:43Speaker 2: I don't want to look at me.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I can't see me either. I don't want to see me.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Every Friday, if I was engaged, Tanya, I wouldn't put
- 26:50Speaker 1: both of us on the phone. I'd put her up
- 26:53Speaker 1: like if I got engaged last weekend.
- 26:55Speaker 3: You got engaged last weekend.
- 26:57Speaker 1: If I did, I'm Cotney, I'm yeah what what hey?
- 27:04Speaker 1: Cony please help me.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Books?
- 27:06Speaker 13: Do you see?
- 27:06Speaker 1: I'm I'm bookended by Tanya and Sysney every day and
- 27:10Speaker 1: I come out absolutely physically drank. So Courtney, we are
- 27:16Speaker 1: going to try and get you.
- 27:17Speaker 8: You have kids, I do. I have a little one
- 27:20Speaker 8: right here next to me, and I'm as soon as
- 27:22Speaker 8: we're awfulfully after, when I'm cropping them off at grim
- 27:25Speaker 8: and Grandpa's, I can log in for work.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Okay, God, we'll be fast. And I thought I heard
- 27:29Speaker 1: a little of one there. So it's a four pack
- 27:31Speaker 1: to Lego Land. Okay. The game is called Summer in La.
- 27:34Speaker 1: That's the name, so here it is Summer is La.
- 27:38Speaker 1: You gotta get three right before you get three wrong.
- 27:41Speaker 1: It's very simple. Multiple choice. Here's the first one. Which
- 27:44Speaker 1: southern California beach has the longest peer? Is it Santa Monica,
- 27:49Speaker 1: Manhattan or Ventura longest pier Ooh, Monica, It is Ventura. Actually,
- 27:58Speaker 1: I want to guess. Get that sounded like a trick question,
- 28:04Speaker 1: yet I know it's very popular, all right, Next one,
- 28:08Speaker 1: don't worry. Which free Los Angeles attraction welcomes the most
- 28:12Speaker 1: visitors every year? Is it the Hollywood Walk of Fame,
- 28:16Speaker 1: the Santa Monica Pier or the Griffith Observatory. It is, yes,
- 28:25Speaker 1: people love it. Okay, next one in what month is
- 28:31Speaker 1: Los Angeles the hottest? Is it July, August or September.

- 29:52Speaker 1: That is this is ah just get said, Ben, I'll
- 29:54Speaker 1: bets tickets for you in just a second if you
- 29:56Speaker 1: send us a talk back inside the iEAR radio app
- 29:58Speaker 1: and play some of those back. But I gotta get
- 29:59Speaker 1: Jordan up to the Mike Indie back room. Jordan and
- 30:03Speaker 1: Mikayla on the dating ass. Mikayla is not finding her
- 30:07Speaker 1: dude yet, not on Hinge, so Jordan said, I'm not
- 30:10Speaker 1: going on Hinge, I'm going on Nectar and Jordan struck
- 30:13Speaker 1: gold on Nectar coffee shop. Dude made her freestyle six
- 30:17Speaker 1: hour conversation or something like that when they met Nectar.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I don even know about Nectar. So now it's time
- 30:24Speaker 1: to make a decision. Are we going out with what's
- 30:26Speaker 1: his name? Ned?
- 30:27Speaker 12: I'm not named jopping here. I'm so sorry Nectar Ned?
- 30:31Speaker 12: Are we going out with Nectar Ned a second time?
- 30:34Speaker 12: What's happening? I would like to I'm just a little
- 30:37Speaker 12: skeptical of like a few things, not any red flags.
- 30:40Speaker 12: It's just kind of me and my preferences.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Okay, So about.
- 30:45Speaker 12: Him, He's a few years younger than me, and I've
- 30:48Speaker 12: never dated someone who's younger than me.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I prefer either be that ye keep going.
- 30:56Speaker 12: Yeah, there's that. And also he's a psych major that
- 30:59Speaker 12: I learned, and that very much intimidates me.
- 31:02Speaker 1: It's like me too.
- 31:03Speaker 11: I don't want him to read my mind.
- 31:04Speaker 3: No, that's amazing.
- 31:07Speaker 1: So these are the two things. The young thing. Don't
- 31:09Speaker 1: worry about it. Age is a number. The connection can
- 31:12Speaker 1: happen at any points. The psyche thing. I have to
- 31:16Speaker 1: tell you, I've had situations like this before and I
- 31:22Speaker 1: thought to myself and they were they had also studied psychology,
- 31:25Speaker 1: and I was okay with it. But it did cross
- 31:27Speaker 1: my mind that what if they become a therapist or
- 31:30Speaker 1: something right, and then you're in deep with a therapist.
- 31:34Speaker 1: I'm not so sure. I don't know that I want
- 31:36Speaker 1: to be in deep with a therapist.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Do just so you both know that is best case scenario.
- 31:41Speaker 4: Could you imagine you get to work through your problems
- 31:43Speaker 4: in a very healthy, manageable way.
- 31:52Speaker 1: You look at your picture of yourself on your lock screen,
- 31:55Speaker 1: look yourself in the mirror. She's got her own picture
- 31:59Speaker 1: of herself on our life. My guidance is it's too
- 32:05Speaker 1: early to call it off. But I think that question
- 32:09Speaker 1: that's interesting. By the way he's going to be an
- 32:10Speaker 1: interesting guy to talk to. I think that's kind of
- 32:12Speaker 1: you know, that's that's fascinating fun. And it's only the
- 32:15Speaker 1: second time. It's only second time you going out with Nectarnet.
- 32:17Speaker 7: If you go out right, yes, it will be.
- 32:19Speaker 4: And he's an amazing dad.
- 32:26Speaker 1: They just had coffee and freestyle.
- 32:28Speaker 12: It's just like so new to me because I'm used
- 32:30Speaker 12: to being the one that carries the conversation. And I
- 32:33Speaker 12: think throughout the four or six hours.
- 32:35Speaker 1: We were telling me about it, he was.
- 32:36Speaker 12: Like leading it and I'm not used to that. So
- 32:40Speaker 12: it's like a little intimating and I'm willing to give
- 32:42Speaker 12: it a second show.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I think. I think out of your comfort Zone is great.
- 32:46Speaker 1: You guys had six hours of conversation, four hours what
- 32:48Speaker 1: it was of dialogue. I think it's great. Do not
- 32:51Speaker 1: shut it down too early. Do not get in your
- 32:53Speaker 1: head too much too soon.
- 32:54Speaker 3: That's great advice.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Thank you. Now freestyle for me.
- 32:58Speaker 12: I'm spitting bars on secrets. Oh look, everybody, let's get
- 33:02Speaker 12: on the road.

- 33:29Speaker 1: And I've been doing this with at least two of
- 33:31Speaker 1: you for a long time. So if you want to
- 33:33Speaker 1: hear some of the revelations from today's show, it's up
- 33:37Speaker 1: midday on the podcast on Air with Ryan Seacrest on iHeartRadio.
- 33:40Speaker 1: It's also where you can send us these talkbacks. Here's one.
- 33:43Speaker 1: I guess I told a story about a guy who
- 33:45Speaker 1: was talking to me. Oh, yes, that's right. I met
- 33:47Speaker 1: a guy in the bathroom. He was talking to me
- 33:50Speaker 1: to urinal and he asked me to get a drink
- 33:52Speaker 1: on his terrace afterwards at his hotel. I think he
- 33:57Speaker 1: was being friendly. Was a Southern guy. We bothered over
- 33:59Speaker 1: the fact that he was from Alabama. I was from Georgia. Dogs. Wow,
- 34:05Speaker 1: this is I'll be listening to us on iHeart in
- 34:07Speaker 1: the Bay Area.
- 34:07Speaker 13: I'll be all right, Ryan, I'll be here from the Bay.
- 34:11Speaker 13: No guy ever talks to one another when they're peen
- 34:14Speaker 13: next to each other. I mean, I talked to my
- 34:17Speaker 13: girls when I'm peen next to them, Sai you woooom.
- 34:21Speaker 13: But no other guy, No random guy, unless flirting with you, come.
- 34:25Speaker 1: On, you know better. I have to tell you people
- 34:27Speaker 1: do talk to me a lot. Like I talked to people.
- 34:30Speaker 1: People talk to me. You'd be surprised that the strange
- 34:32Speaker 1: place is where people will just strike up conversation with me.
- 34:35Speaker 1: And I'm open.
- 34:35Speaker 8: I like it.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I don't mind. So this happened. And the guy, I
- 34:38Speaker 1: think he was being friendly. It was like, we're going
- 34:41Speaker 1: back to have a drink on my terrorist. Do you
- 34:43Speaker 1: want to come and at a hotel? And I was like,
- 34:48Speaker 1: I was speechless, but I say, I said it was
- 34:51Speaker 1: jet light. That's what I said. Jet Light did not
- 34:54Speaker 1: come all right to Snytania. These talk backs, we talked
- 34:58Speaker 1: about our inability. We're not gonna this to receive compliments,
- 35:01Speaker 1: we just get uncomfortable. We shouldn't. We should just say
- 35:04Speaker 1: two simple words, thank you, but for some reason we
- 35:07Speaker 1: find that hard. Here's Maria, who listens on I radio.
- 35:10Speaker 11: A good idea how to take a compliment coming from
- 35:12Speaker 11: a person doesn't know how to take compliments though, when
- 35:15Speaker 11: somebody gives you a compliment, you can say thank you,
- 35:18Speaker 11: I love your good taste, have a great day.
