Shocking arrest in Kansas: Father Ryan McCandless, a 44-year-old Catholic priest from the Diocese of Salina, has been charged with three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Allegations date back to July–September 2025, involving a six-year-old in Belleville. Suspended after the Diocese learned of the claims, McCandless was arrested in Wichita on July 22 and booked into Sedgwick County Jail, pending transfer to Republic County.
