  because

  of
• 0:45
  course,
• 0:45
  why
• 0:45
  not?
• 0:46
  Because
• 0:46
  of
• 0:46
  the
• 0:46
  significance
• 0:47
  of
• 0:47
  4:20,
• 0:47
  which
• 0:48
  did
• 0:48
  not
• 0:48
  dawn
• 0:48
  on

  are

  you

  I'm
• 0:59
  going
• 1:00
  to
• 1:00
  go
• 1:00
  ahead
• 1:00
  and
• 1:00
  sell

  this

• 1:02
  Are
• 1:02
  you?
• 1:02
  I'm
• 1:03
  not
• 1:03
  hedging.
• 1:03
  You'd
• 1:04
  go
• 1:04
  the
• 1:04
  other
• 1:04
  way?
• 1:05
  No.
• 1:05
  Like
• 1:05
  no
• 1:06
  hedging?
• 1:06
  No.
• 1:07
  Just
• 1:07
  going

• 1:17
  That

  is
• 1:18
  something
• 1:18
  that
• 1:19
  we've
• 1:19
  been
• 1:19
  talking

  about.
• 1:20
  I

  Europe,
• 1:21
  I
• 1:22
  was
• 1:22
  talking
• 1:22
  to
• 1:22
  the
• 1:22
  head
• 1:22
  of
• 1:23
  BP
• 1:23
  Europe
• 1:23
  about
• 1:24
  this
• 1:24
  exact
• 1:24
  thing.
• 1:25
  What,
• 1:25
  what
• 1:26
  do
• 1:26
  you
• 1:26
  do
• 1:26
  when
• 1:26
  people
• 1:27
  start
• 1:27
  spending
• 1:28
  more
• 1:28
  time
• 1:29
  if
• 1:29
  they're
• 1:29
  going
• 1:29
  to
• 1:29
  be
• 1:30
  charging?
• 1:30
  I
• 1:31
  think
• 1:31
  it's
• 1:32
  this
• 1:32
  concept
• 1:33
  though
• 1:33
  is
• 1:33
  purely
• 1:35
  a
• 1:35
  marketing
• 1:36
  play.
• 1:36
  I
• 1:37
  think
• 1:37
  it's
• 1:37
  just
• 1:37
  trying
• 1:37
  to
• 1:38
  get
• 1:38
  people
• 1:39
  to
• 1:39
  engaged
• 1:40
  with
• 1:40
  Tesla
• 1:41
  during
• 1:41
  a
• 1:42
  time
• 1:42
  that
• 1:43
  the
• 1:44
  brand
• 1:44
  is
• 1:44
  not
• 1:44
  doing
• 1:45
  so
• 1:45
  well
• 1:45
  and
• 1:45
  you
• 1:46
  have
• 1:46
  some
• 1:46
  questionable
• 1:47
  behavior
• 1:48
  by
• 1:48
  its
• 1:48
  founder.
• 1:48
  I
• 1:49
  think
• 1:49
  that
• 1:49
  is
• 1:50
  something
• 1:50
  that
• 1:51
  is,
• 1:52
  is
• 1:52
  the
• 1:52
  real
• 1:52
  focus
• 1:53
  here
• 1:53
  and
• 1:54
  I
• 1:54
  think
• 1:54
  a
• 1:54
  way
• 1:55
  to
• 1:55
  maybe
• 1:56
  try
• 1:56
  to
• 1:56
  maintain
• 1:57
  some
• 1:57
  brand
• 1:57
  advocacy
• 1:58
  for
• 1:58
  the
• 1:59
  Tesla
• 1:59
  founders
• 1:59
  who
• 2:00
  are
• 2:00
  still
• 2:00
  very
• 2:00
  positively
• 2:01
  Tesla.
• 2:02
  I,
• 2:02
  I
• 2:03
  just
• 2:03
  don't
• 2:04
  see
• 2:04
  this
• 2:04
  as
• 2:04
  a
• 2:04
  concept
• 2:05
  that's
• 2:05
  going
• 2:05
  to
• 2:05
  go
• 2:06
  throughout
• 2:07
  the
• 2:07
  country,
• 2:07
  especially
• 2:08
  like
• 2:08
  this
• 2:08
  location
• 2:09
  right
• 2:09
  on
• 2:09
  Santa
• 2:10
  Monica
• 2:10
  Boulevard.
• 2:11
  And
• 2:11
  I
• 2:11
  don't
• 2:11
  know
• 2:11
  if
• 2:11
  you
• 2:12
  saw
• 2:12
  the
• 2:12
  pictures,
• 2:12
  but
• 2:13
  I
• 2:13
  encourage
• 2:13
  people
• 2:14
  to
• 2:14
  go
• 2:14
  to
• 2:14
  teslarati.
• 2:15
  They
• 2:16
  put
• 2:16
  up
• 2:16
  giant
• 2:17
  screens,
• 2:17
  screens
• 2:18
  in
• 2:18
  front
• 2:18
  of
• 2:18
  people's
• 2:19
  patios.
• 2:19
  So
• 2:20
  there's
• 2:20
  apartment
• 2:20
  buildings
• 2:21
  that
• 2:21
  are
• 2:21
  now
• 2:22
  like
• 2:22
  there's
• 2:23
  not
• 2:23
  even
• 2:24
  more
• 2:24
  than
• 2:24
  a
• 2:25
  meter
• 2:25
  between
• 2:25
  the,
• 2:26
  the
• 2:26
  screen,
• 2:27
  now
• 2:27
  the
• 2:28
  back
• 2:28
  of
• 2:28
  the
• 2:28
  screen
• 2:28
  and
• 2:28
  these
• 2:29
  people's
• 2:29
  condos,
• 2:30
  condo
• 2:30
  building.
• 2:30
  So
• 2:31
  I,
• 2:31
  I
• 2:31
  would
• 2:32
  not
• 2:32
  be
• 2:32
  surprised
• 2:32
  if
• 2:33
  we
• 2:33
  see
• 2:33
  this
• 2:33
  thing
• 2:34
  drastically
• 2:35
  reduced
• 2:36
  or
• 2:36
  shut
• 2:36
  down
• 2:37
  in
• 2:37
  the
• 2:37
  next
• 2:37
  couple
• 2:38
  months.
• 2:38
  And
• 2:38
  it
• 2:38
  was.
• 2:38
  It's
• 2:39
  looked
• 2:39
  at
• 2:39
  as,
• 2:40
  hey,
• 2:40
  we
• 2:40
  just
• 2:40
  wanted
• 2:41
  to
• 2:41
  distract
• 2:41
  people
• 2:41
  with
• 2:42
  this
• 2:42
  big
• 2:42
  marketing
• 2:43
  ploy.
• 2:44
  The
• 2:44
  timing
• 2:45
  seems
• 2:45
  really
• 2:46
  interesting
• 2:46
  given
• 2:46
  what's
• 2:47
  going
• 2:47
  on
• 2:47
  with
• 2:47
  the
• 2:47
  brand
• 2:48
  right
• 2:48
  now.
• 2:48
  So.
• 2:49
  So
• 2:50
  I'm
• 2:50
  selling
• 2:50
  it.
• 2:51
  Keep
• 2:52
  thinking
• 2:52
  about
• 2:52
  how
• 2:52
  you're
• 2:53
  going
• 2:53
  to
• 2:53
  engage
• 2:53
  consumers
• 2:53
  in
• 2:54
  the
• 2:54
  fueling
• 2:54
  station,
• 2:55
  but
• 2:55
  not
• 2:55
  with
• 2:55
  this
• 2:56
  concept.
• 2:56
  But
• 2:57
  what
• 2:57
  about
• 2:57
  you?
• 2:58
  Yeah,
• 2:58
  well,
• 2:59
  I'm
• 2:59
  actually,
• 2:59
  I'm
• 3:00
  not
• 3:00
  as
• 3:00
  hard
• 3:00
  on
• 3:00
  it
• 3:00
  as
• 3:00
  you
• 3:01
  are.
• 3:01
  I'm
• 3:01
  so.
• 3:02
  I
• 3:02
  am.
• 3:03
  I
• 3:03
  am
• 3:03
  selling
• 3:04
  it
• 3:04
  in
• 3:04
  its
• 3:04
  current
• 3:06
  iteration.
• 3:07
  You
• 3:07
  know,
• 3:08
  iteration.
• 3:08
  The
• 3:09
  UFO
• 3:10
  iteration,
• 3:11
  whatever
• 3:11
  the
• 3:11
  hell
• 3:11
  you.
• 3:11
  Want
• 3:12
  to
• 3:12
  call
• 3:12
  it.
• 3:12
  Yeah.
• 3:13
  You
• 3:13
  know,
• 3:13
  as
• 3:13
  an
• 3:14
  L.
• 3:14
  A
• 3:14
  tourist
• 3:14
  attraction,
• 3:15
  sure,
• 3:16
  fine.
• 3:17
  And,
• 3:17
  you
• 3:17
  know,
• 3:17
  I'm
• 3:18
  not
• 3:18
  surprised.
• 3:18
  It
• 3:18
  feels
• 3:18
  a
• 3:19
  little
• 3:19
  overblown,
• 3:20
  overstated.
• 3:20
  But
• 3:21
  that's
• 3:21
  typical
• 3:21
  of
• 3:21
  first
• 3:22
  experiments
• 3:22
  because
• 3:22
  you
• 3:22
  can
• 3:22
  always
• 3:23
  scale
• 3:23
  them
• 3:23
  back,
• 3:23
  too.
• 3:24
  But
• 3:24
  the
• 3:24
  one
• 3:25
  misgiving
• 3:25
  I
• 3:25
  have
• 3:25
  about
• 3:26
  it
• 3:26
  that
• 3:26
  I
• 3:26
  think
• 3:26
  particularly
• 3:27
  is
• 3:27
  not
• 3:27
  going
• 3:27
  to
• 3:27
  work
• 3:28
  when
• 3:28
  you
• 3:28
  think
• 3:28
  about
• 3:28
  it
• 3:28
  from
• 3:28
  a
• 3:29
  user
• 3:29
  design
• 3:29
  perspective,
• 3:30
  is
• 3:30
  the
• 3:30
  movie
• 3:31
  theater.
• 3:31
  Like,
• 3:32
  the
• 3:32
  whole
• 3:32
  thing
• 3:32
  seems
• 3:33
  to
• 3:33
  be
• 3:33
  way
• 3:33
  souped
• 3:34
  up
• 3:34
  more
• 3:34
  than
• 3:34
  it
• 3:34
  needs
• 3:35
  to
• 3:35
  be.
• 3:35
  And
• 3:35
  the
• 3:35
  movie
• 3:35
  theater
• 3:36
  means
• 3:36
  the
• 3:36
  trip
• 3:36
  has
• 3:37
  to
• 3:37
  be
• 3:37
  planned,
• 3:38
  like,
• 3:38
  and
• 3:38
  so
• 3:39
  the
• 3:39
  trip
• 3:39
  is
• 3:39
  going
• 3:39
  to
• 3:39
  take
• 3:39
  a
• 3:40
  ton
• 3:40
  of
• 3:40
  time.
• 3:40
  So
• 3:40
  why
• 3:41
  do
• 3:41
  I
• 3:41
  want
• 3:41
  to
• 3:41
  introduce
• 3:42
  that
• 3:42
  friction
• 3:42
  into
• 3:42
  my
• 3:43
  life
• 3:43
  with
• 3:43
  EV
• 3:43
  charging?
• 3:44
  That
• 3:44
  seems
• 3:44
  really
• 3:45
  tough.
• 3:45
  So
• 3:46
  as
• 3:46
  I
• 3:46
  look.
• 3:46
  And
• 3:47
  then
• 3:47
  the
• 3:47
  other
• 3:47
  point
• 3:47
  about
• 3:47
  this
• 3:47
  too
• 3:48
  is
• 3:48
  we
• 3:48
  look
• 3:48
  to
• 3:48
  the
• 3:48
  evolution
• 3:49
  of
• 3:49
  EV
• 3:49
  charging,
• 3:50
  too.
• 3:50
  It's
• 3:50
  going
• 3:50
  to
• 3:50
  get
• 3:50
  faster,
• 3:51
  it's
• 3:51
  going
• 3:51
  to
• 3:51
  get
• 3:51
  quicker.
• 3:52
  So,
• 3:52
  like,
• 3:53
  I'm
• 3:53
  not
• 3:53
  going
• 3:53
  to
• 3:53
  watch.
• 3:53
  It
• 3:53
  may
• 3:54
  go
• 3:54
  away
• 3:54
  altogether.
• 3:55
  I
• 3:55
  mean,
• 3:55
  you
• 3:55
  look
• 3:55
  at
• 3:56
  like
• 3:56
  hydrogen
• 3:56
  charging
• 3:57
  or
• 3:57
  whatever
• 3:57
  this
• 3:58
  is
• 3:58
  too.
• 3:58
  Like,
• 4:00
  I'm
• 4:00
  opening
• 4:00
  my
• 4:00
  skis
• 4:01
  on
• 4:01
  that
• 4:01
  one.
• 4:01
  I'm
• 4:01
  not
• 4:01
  going
• 4:01
  there.
• 4:02
  But,
• 4:02
  like,
• 4:02
  they're
• 4:02
  going
• 4:02
  to
• 4:02
  make
• 4:02
  it
• 4:03
  faster
• 4:03
  where
• 4:03
  you're
• 4:03
  not
• 4:03
  going
• 4:03
  to
• 4:04
  want
• 4:04
  to
• 4:04
  watch
• 4:04
  a
• 4:04
  whole
• 4:04
  movie
• 4:05
  while
• 4:05
  you're
• 4:05
  getting
• 4:05
  your
• 4:05
  car
• 4:06
  charged.
• 4:06
  And.
• 4:06
  And
• 4:06
  nobody
• 4:07
  wants
• 4:07
  to
• 4:07
  sit
• 4:07
  and
• 4:07
  watch
• 4:07
  in
• 4:07
  their
• 4:08
  car
• 4:08
  and
• 4:08
  watch
• 4:08
  a
• 4:08
  movie
• 4:08
  anyway,
• 4:09
  because
• 4:09
  that's
• 4:09
  gone
• 4:09
  away
• 4:10
  too,
• 4:10
  you
• 4:10
  know,
• 4:11
  and
• 4:11
  that
• 4:11
  technology
• 4:11
  has
• 4:11
  been
• 4:12
  a
• 4:12
  lot
• 4:12
  better
• 4:12
  over
• 4:12
  the
• 4:12
  years.
• 4:12
  So.
• 4:13
  So,
• 4:13
  you
• 4:13
  know,
• 4:14
  but
• 4:14
  the
• 4:14
  dining
• 4:15
  component
• 4:15
  of
• 4:15
  it,
• 4:16
  sure,
• 4:16
  yeah,
• 4:17
  I
• 4:17
  think
• 4:17
  that
• 4:17
  could
• 4:18
  work.
• 4:18
  And
• 4:18
  maybe.
• 4:19
  So
• 4:19
  that's
• 4:19
  why
• 4:19
  when
• 4:19
  I
• 4:19
  think
• 4:19
  about
• 4:20
  national
• 4:20
  scale,
• 4:21
  like,
• 4:21
  I
• 4:21
  think
• 4:21
  if
• 4:21
  they
• 4:21
  went
• 4:22
  more
• 4:22
  still,
• 4:22
  like
• 4:23
  the
• 4:23
  roadside
• 4:24
  Flying
• 4:24
  J
• 4:25
  market
• 4:26
  rather
• 4:26
  than
• 4:27
  the
• 4:27
  tourist
• 4:27
  attraction,
• 4:28
  and
• 4:28
  they
• 4:28
  tried
• 4:28
  to
• 4:28
  populate
• 4:29
  those
• 4:29
  throughout
• 4:29
  the
• 4:29
  country
• 4:30
  because,
• 4:30
  yes,
• 4:30
  if
• 4:31
  you're
• 4:31
  going
• 4:31
  to
• 4:31
  take
• 4:31
  your
• 4:31
  car
• 4:32
  on
• 4:32
  the
• 4:32
  road,
• 4:32
  you
• 4:32
  need
• 4:33
  reliable
• 4:33
  charging
• 4:34
  stations.
• 4:35
  That's
• 4:35
  where
• 4:35
  I
• 4:35
  think
• 4:35
  this
• 4:36
  potentially
• 4:36
  still
• 4:36
  could
• 4:37
  go.
• 4:37
  But
• 4:38
  yeah,
• 4:38
  as
• 4:38
  a
• 4:38
  current
• 4:38
  intercarnation,
• 4:39
  I'm
• 4:40
  just
• 4:40
  like,
• 4:40
  whatever,
• 4:40
  dude.
• 4:41
  Total
• 4:41
  tourist
• 4:41
  attraction.
• 4:42
  Get
• 4:42
  your
• 4:42
  420
• 4:43
  stuff.
• 4:44
  Take
• 4:44
  another
• 4:44
  hit
• 4:45
  on
• 4:45
  that
• 4:45
  420
• 4:45
  bog
• 4:46
  and
• 4:46
  whatever
• 4:48
  and
• 4:48
  scale
• 4:48
  this
• 4:49
  sucker
• 4:49
  back,
• 4:49
  is
• 4:49
  what
• 4:49
  I'm
• 4:50
  thinking.
