- 0:15Speaker 4: I don't want to lay blame here.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Oh you good, good, that's a rest.
- 0:21Speaker 3: But I must say there was one incident that triggered
- 0:25Speaker 3: me badly, and it was old pugsn.
- 0:31Speaker 4: And he brought in was this on Friday movie?
- 0:34Speaker 2: It was?
- 0:35Speaker 3: Yeah, he brought in, Kezy a very cute, little dinky
- 0:39Speaker 3: pack of Vietnamese ciggies.
- 0:41Speaker 5: That's interesting because he also did that the live show
- 0:43Speaker 5: when we're inderneath it. Yes, he's trying to enable you.
- 0:46Speaker 4: And he just left him on the desk and he said,
- 0:48Speaker 4: check these out, Chase.
- 0:50Speaker 2: He did, and I was.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Like wow, And it was such a dinky, cute little pack.
- 0:58Speaker 2: And I was like, you know, surely one of one.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Of those little what little bassards won't count.
- 1:04Speaker 5: No, it does count, anything counts. I can't believe that happened.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Pugs. You know, do you have anything to say for yourself? Yeah?
- 1:15Speaker 6: I mean for those for those none of Jason's business
- 1:18Speaker 6: what I brought into the office, all right, except for
- 1:20Speaker 6: you shove them into his face, and I respect you
- 1:22Speaker 6: for it. Pugs, it was a great move from you.
- 1:24Speaker 6: For those just tuning in, Jason's hating his wife because
- 1:27Speaker 6: he can't smoke cigarettes, or vape or drink, so he's
- 1:31Speaker 6: trying to find something else to get addicted to.
- 1:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm currently getting addicted to being a bit of an.
- 1:36Speaker 6: Asshole, an absolute son of a bee, an absolute piece.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Of which I don't recommend. I don't think it looks
- 1:44Speaker 2: him over there feels good to me.
- 1:48Speaker 5: A lot of people are texting in jas with support
- 1:50Speaker 5: and suggestions, which is good. Get addicted to golf and
- 1:54Speaker 5: wear it like a personality.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Yeah, well I would play golf.
- 1:59Speaker 5: Why because oh, Keysy is too busy to play with me.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Not too busy for a long weekend with the feelers though,
- 2:08Speaker 4: was he?
- 2:08Speaker 2: It wasn't great? Yeah? Yeah, played three games this one.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Maybe start a collection, Hoidy j like a collection of
- 2:15Speaker 5: Sultan pepper shakers.
- 2:16Speaker 3: My aunt Maizie did that, My great aunt Maizie, and
- 2:21Speaker 3: I kid you not.
- 2:22Speaker 4: She had a house with.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Cabinets everywhere full of Sultan pepper shaker and your blood
- 2:28Speaker 3: get into it.
- 2:30Speaker 4: My wife has duck.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Plates, so you know, duck plates.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I'm not having Sultan pepper shakers and dunt plate till
- 2:36Speaker 3: over the apartment.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Take up a musical instrument. No, tried that. Tried that. Yeah,
- 2:41Speaker 2: didn't get addicted to that, did you?
- 2:43Speaker 3: No?
- 2:43Speaker 2: Not at all.
- 2:46Speaker 6: Uh.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Take up building lego. Very good for your mind in
- 2:49Speaker 2: your later years. There you go, Yeah, that's true.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Actually, someone actually made the suggestion, and I've heard it
- 2:57Speaker 3: before that I can't around a bag of wedges of
- 3:02Speaker 3: lemon that's right, really sour, and then you just as
- 3:05Speaker 3: soon as you're get to news, you chuck it in
- 3:06Speaker 3: your mouth and it rewires the brain immediately. But I'm
- 3:10Speaker 3: not carrying a bag of bloody lemon wedges around with me, not.
- 3:13Speaker 2: A giant bag. It's a small SnapLock bag. I've never
- 3:16Speaker 2: heard of that before.
- 3:16Speaker 5: The guy called up our show a couple of years
- 3:18Speaker 5: ago when Jason decided to quit the first time.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Right years ago, I was about five years ago, and
- 3:24Speaker 2: my wife and my wife suggested the same thing.
- 3:26Speaker 3: It's something to do with a sharp change of taste. Well,
- 3:30Speaker 3: do something.
- 3:31Speaker 6: People are treating you like an idiot. Man ground with
- 3:34Speaker 6: a pocket full of lemons.
- 3:36Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, Jason's way too smart for that. It's not
- 3:40Speaker 5: gonna work. Well if this is how, If this helps,
- 3:42Speaker 5: I've googled the most addictive things on the planet.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Oh nice, Heroin, never tried it. You take that up food.
- 3:52Speaker 5: You can just blow out massively.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I have in the past. When I've given out blown out,
- 3:57Speaker 2: I eat a lot more. That's true. Pokies talk about it.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Queen of the Nile, because you know, I go past
- 4:07Speaker 3: the casino every night and I've got my dog squad money.
- 4:12Speaker 5: Yeah, not those ones, like real sad ones, you know, like,
- 4:15Speaker 5: oh you die terrible.
- 4:16Speaker 4: But then there'll be it'll be in a bar, they'll
- 4:20Speaker 4: be beers.
- 4:21Speaker 2: He's everywhere scrolling social media.
- 4:24Speaker 3: No, I kind of do that anyway. It just annoys me,
- 4:27Speaker 3: gets me angry.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Pornography, caffeine and crack.
- 4:35Speaker 6: You had to get though, Yeah, yeah, we're trying to
- 4:41Speaker 6: get Oh well.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Look, I'll just have to be a backbone and carry
- 4:44Speaker 3: on and then I'm I'm not that much of a
- 4:47Speaker 3: pain to be around, to be honest. My wife's she's
- 4:51Speaker 3: moved up north for a little while with her mum.
- 4:53Speaker 3: But yeah, a little one's hanging out with her boyfriend.
- 4:56Speaker 3: But I don't even like what I'm having for dinner tonight.
- 5:02Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Oh, it's just some stuffed pasta or something. I hate
- 5:06Speaker 4: that shit.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Do you like ads?
- 5:07Speaker 1: No, The hold Ikey Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Hold I Clear there on the Radio Holder Key Big
- 5:16Speaker 3: Show this Wednesday evening. The time is six thirty seven.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Let's give out some advice. Feels sixty night.
- 5:27Speaker 2: At gmail dot com. Get in touch with the Fellas.
- 5:32Speaker 5: That's right, met Patty NEPs sixty nine at gmail dot com.
- 5:35Speaker 5: It is a real email address. If you ever need
- 5:37Speaker 5: advice on any If you ever need advice on anything,
- 5:42Speaker 5: get in touch and if it gets read out on
- 5:43Speaker 5: the show, you get a prize.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Good stuff, man, How good is that man? And it's
- 5:46Speaker 2: one hundred percent anonymous as well.
- 5:48Speaker 5: That's great.
- 5:49Speaker 2: That's one comes from anonymous.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Get our fellers.
- 5:53Speaker 2: It's too late for that man. There's that little spot
- 5:55Speaker 2: at the start. It's too late.
- 5:57Speaker 5: This is the issue is I know he's going to
- 5:58Speaker 5: do it at some point, and it's before he got
- 6:01Speaker 5: out of the way really early, but he held onto that
- 6:03Speaker 5: one some building up.
- 6:05Speaker 6: Actually, the boss was telling us we need to get
- 6:07Speaker 6: rid of a few segments. Maybe this is one that's
- 6:08Speaker 6: got to go. It's falling apart at the seems man.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Yeah, but he always says that, I mean, this is
- 6:14Speaker 5: a great segment. This is this is my favorite segment.
- 6:17Speaker 2: It's a community service. It is, you know, just.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Because Jays yells randomly.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yeah, we should ask the whole got a time with
- 6:23Speaker 2: my headphones?
- 6:24Speaker 6: What do you mean when Jay screams that, yeah, good.
- 6:29Speaker 5: A fail is anonymous?
- 6:30Speaker 2: Here.
- 6:32Speaker 5: My lovely partner and I have recently got engaged and
- 6:34Speaker 5: are currently in the midst of wedding planning. We're finding
- 6:38Speaker 5: it quite punishing and bloody expensive. Yeah, do you have
- 6:42Speaker 5: any tips to make sure it all goes smoothly or
- 6:44Speaker 5: anything else we should splash out on and or anything
- 6:47Speaker 5: we can skip. We definitely don't want the day to
- 6:50Speaker 5: only be a six out of ten in brackets. Will
- 6:52Speaker 5: avoid Keysy's wife making the cake chairs anonymous? That's why
- 6:56Speaker 5: would she make your wedding cake?
- 6:56Speaker 2: It doesn't even make sense, It doesn't make any sense.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Well, first, the first thing you need to do is
- 7:03Speaker 3: find a mate that's got really nice DEGs, you know,
- 7:07Speaker 3: or it might be a relative or something like that.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Is someone that's really wealthy or whatever, and say, can
- 7:13Speaker 3: we hold our wedding at your place, which is what
- 7:16Speaker 3: we did with our friends.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:19Speaker 5: All I'll say is you might think that having a
- 7:23Speaker 5: wedding at someone's house or property or whatever is cheaper.
- 7:26Speaker 5: It's actually not anymore. It's more expensive. We found that out.
- 7:30Speaker 5: You know, you know, by the time you hire the
- 7:32Speaker 5: marquee and get the generators in and blah blah blah,
- 7:35Speaker 5: it's super expensive. The only way we found a cut
- 7:38Speaker 5: cost was to not invite work mates.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Babe. I was going to say, that's the way to
- 7:43Speaker 2: do it.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Yeah, because let's be honest, would you be mates of
- 7:46Speaker 5: them if you weren't working together.
- 7:47Speaker 2: No, there's some truth in that. I'll tell you what
- 7:51Speaker 2: we did do.
- 7:52Speaker 3: And this is just a serious note for a moment,
- 7:55Speaker 3: which was really good.
- 7:57Speaker 2: In a lieu of giving us a.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Present, we said, make a contribution to the bar, to
- 8:03Speaker 3: the bar, to the bar drink well, so people instead
- 8:07Speaker 3: of buying us a prison, they donated money to an
- 8:10Speaker 3: account which was the bar account, and we bought our
- 8:13Speaker 3: pest with that money.
- 8:14Speaker 2: That's nice, that's a good way to do it, and
- 8:16Speaker 2: saved us a crap.
- 8:17Speaker 5: Load because The other way to do is you go, oh,
- 8:20Speaker 5: put some money towards the honeymoon. Yes, did you have
- 8:23Speaker 5: a honeymoon?
- 8:24Speaker 2: No? Yeah, because of a bombing cold you. That's right,
- 8:29Speaker 2: you're supposed to cut. Did you have a terrible gig
- 8:32Speaker 2: as well? Yeah? Yeah? Can you just give me the
- 8:34Speaker 2: fear little line there? K You see? Is what there's
- 8:36Speaker 2: something about avoiding something.
- 8:38Speaker 5: For you, anything we should splash out on and or
- 8:42Speaker 5: anything we can skip, Skip the wedding, Skip the wedding.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Yeah completely.
- 8:48Speaker 4: You could.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Just go down to the registry office and do it
- 8:53Speaker 3: that way.
- 8:54Speaker 4: It just doesn't cost.
- 8:55Speaker 5: It's not about you though, it's about your friends and
- 8:57Speaker 5: family and having them all together.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Oh, that's right.
- 8:59Speaker 5: They can pay for it, then, well that's not what
- 9:01Speaker 5: I'm saying.
- 9:02Speaker 6: They can chip in. You did, jays. It makes sense, yes,
- 9:05Speaker 6: And there's no way that you can have a wedding
- 9:07Speaker 6: with out there being a few dramas along the way. Yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 6: you know you got to embrace that part of it.
- 9:12Speaker 6: That's the best part of it.
- 9:13Speaker 5: Can I genuine, genuine suggestion here? Flag the wedding cake?
- 9:19Speaker 5: Oh yeah, you don't need a wedding cake. Everyone's steamed
- 9:21Speaker 5: by the time the cake comes out, it's like, oh,
- 9:23Speaker 5: do you want to stop drinking and partying and have
- 9:25Speaker 5: some cake.
- 9:25Speaker 6: We didn't have a cake. What we had, and this
- 9:28Speaker 6: was a good one. We had a selection of cheeses
- 9:31Speaker 6: and crackers in that, you know, because people are still
- 9:33Speaker 6: drinking and that, and they'll rip into the cheeses and
- 9:35Speaker 6: that about as much as they would the cake. Keysy,
- 9:38Speaker 6: it turned out until cheese. We've got all this wonderful cheese.
- 9:43Speaker 6: The venue refused to give us the cheese. They said
- 9:47Speaker 6: it was a health a health risk, and they keeped
- 9:49Speaker 6: it all. They kept it all bullshit.
- 9:51Speaker 2: That happened to us. It's a similar, similar thing. So
- 9:54Speaker 2: you know what we had. We didn't have a We
- 9:58Speaker 2: did trumpets, hand out rumpets. We didn't have cake creams.
- 10:04Speaker 2: We didn't have an k.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Or either fellas.
- 10:07Speaker 6: You know.
- 10:07Speaker 2: What we had.
- 10:09Speaker 3: We had like I don't even know how you describe it.
- 10:11Speaker 3: I was going to say like a muffin tower, but
- 10:14Speaker 3: they were little sort of balls a tower of muffins,
- 10:17Speaker 3: but you know, and it was just this big pyramid
- 10:20Speaker 3: sort of quite beautifully made, and you just pull a
- 10:23Speaker 3: ball off.
- 10:24Speaker 2: And right chow down on that. It sounds like some
- 10:26Speaker 2: Poor Taste.
- 10:31Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 10:34Speaker 1: in week days and four on Radio Darky.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Guns Roses Here on the Radio Darkey Big Show This
- 10:42Speaker 3: Thursday evening the time six twenty.
- 10:44Speaker 6: Five, Fellas, I've got a bone to pick. I got
- 10:48Speaker 6: a bone to pick now. Today was a very important
- 10:52Speaker 6: day at Radio Hurdarchy and it was a huge day
- 10:56Speaker 6: for the entire company New Zealand.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Me insid Yeah, that's the name of the company, m z.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Emmy, And it's when we get to have a power
- 11:07Speaker 6: well with the big wigs and talk about the big plans,
- 11:10Speaker 6: do you know what I mean? And so everybody got
- 11:13Speaker 6: together and we got to go upstairs, which we never
- 11:15Speaker 6: get to do. We didn't know where were It was
- 11:19Speaker 6: an absolute can I say? It was an absolute shambles
- 11:22Speaker 6: trying to get up there. We're taking the wrong elevators,
- 11:25Speaker 6: the wrong way. Jace was wandering around saying he was
- 11:29Speaker 6: walking at the back and he said, will there be smacks?
- 11:33Speaker 5: Well, to be fair, we were given the wrong time
- 11:35Speaker 5: and the wrong destinations.
- 11:36Speaker 6: It was an absolute plava. And then we get in
- 11:39Speaker 6: there and we start getting into some really interesting chat
- 11:41Speaker 6: about what they've got planned and that we're doing a
- 11:43Speaker 6: great job and these are the sort of things that
- 11:45Speaker 6: we want to be doing. And you know it was
- 11:47Speaker 6: it was really engaged because we only get to do
- 11:49Speaker 6: it once a year, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I
- 11:51Speaker 6: was asking questions, Keasy was asking questions. We were loving
- 11:54Speaker 6: it the whole to everyone was here, Jeremy, Maniah, everybody
- 11:57Speaker 6: that you don't, everyone that's on you, everyone that's off you,
- 12:00Speaker 6: from the whole teams, and they're talking to the big wigs.
- 12:02Speaker 6: And you know, I looked to my right and I'm
- 12:05Speaker 6: sitting to Houghty J. And there's Hoidy J off to
- 12:08Speaker 6: my right there his elbows on his knees, leaning forward,
- 12:13Speaker 6: surfing Instagram, not listening to a.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Word of it. Well are you serious?
- 12:19Speaker 3: Well was when Keezy started asking those stupid bloody questions, Jace,
- 12:24Speaker 3: can we not do this?
- 12:26Speaker 5: We have one meeting a year. It's half an hour long,
- 12:29Speaker 5: one meeting a year. You can't just be on Instagram
- 12:32Speaker 5: looking at buzzies. Man, You've got to be long.
- 12:34Speaker 2: And there was the thing the buzzies. Now. The other
- 12:38Speaker 2: thing that happened was he wasn't just looking once is
- 12:40Speaker 2: the sort of went through it.
- 12:41Speaker 6: He clocked it, and then he turned it off for
- 12:43Speaker 6: a minute or two, and then he went back to it.
- 12:45Speaker 6: I don't know if you noticed, but at some point
- 12:47Speaker 6: he bumped it and the audio went.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I was wondering what that was, and what the hell was.
- 12:55Speaker 6: I tell you what you've never seen Jason's I shoot
- 12:57Speaker 6: up to the front and looked very interested in what
- 13:00Speaker 6: was happening.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Oh what are we talking about?
- 13:03Speaker 6: He did not want to be the one that got
- 13:04Speaker 6: found out for showing zero interest in what we're trying
- 13:07Speaker 6: to do around here.
- 13:08Speaker 3: The only reason that I went and looked at it
- 13:12Speaker 3: a second time was I was trying to figure out
- 13:16Speaker 3: why I had so many buzzies on my Instagram and
- 13:19Speaker 3: I've been inundated by Pugsign and Keezy sending me stupid stuff.
- 13:25Speaker 2: It's all busy stuff, and.
- 13:28Speaker 3: It was I admit I was distracted not by the buzzies,
- 13:33Speaker 3: but by the fact that there were buzzies on my
- 13:35Speaker 3: phone sent from Kezy and Patches, and I was trying
- 13:39Speaker 3: to figure out how to get it off my phone.
- 13:42Speaker 6: It's interesting because in an amazing you would expect that
- 13:44Speaker 6: you wouldn't know, because how would you know unleast you
- 13:47Speaker 6: grabbed your phone out of your pocket when your boss
- 13:50Speaker 6: was talking, opened it, pushed Instagram and started trawling, like
- 13:55Speaker 6: tell me what it.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Was because they mentioned YouTube there, and I went on,
- 14:00Speaker 3: are are we on YouTube?
- 14:03Speaker 4: Shall have it?
- 14:03Speaker 2: You know we're on you?
- 14:04Speaker 4: What's our KPI there?
- 14:06Speaker 2: You know what I mean? And so I was trying
- 14:09Speaker 2: to fight.
- 14:10Speaker 3: And then I was like, of course because they were
- 14:13Speaker 3: talking figures fellows, you know, like your Instagrams and your
- 14:16Speaker 3: stuff like that and inst and I was like, I
- 14:19Speaker 3: just got to check what are round numbers there?
- 14:21Speaker 2: So I can contribute to what you hear.
- 14:23Speaker 3: And then all that ended up happening, of course, was
- 14:26Speaker 3: that I was inundated with buzzy stuff seent by Keysy
- 14:29Speaker 3: and Pugs.
- 14:30Speaker 5: Pugs do you remember sending any buzzy material on Instagram?
- 14:35Speaker 5: I haven't send you any buzzies today, Jays thank you today?
- 14:40Speaker 2: Yeah? Not today? Man. The meeting I was long, so
- 14:43Speaker 2: because we were talking about and stuff.
- 14:47Speaker 3: And then I was like, yeah, how because I even
- 14:50Speaker 3: kicked out our site for a long time a side,
- 14:54Speaker 3: you know, and I was like how many how many
- 14:58Speaker 3: fans do we how many.
- 15:00Speaker 4: I'll always doing here? So how many do we have
- 15:03Speaker 4: thirty six thousand.
- 15:05Speaker 2: It's pretty good. It's not bad.
- 15:07Speaker 5: You know why he knows that because he was sooously
- 15:08Speaker 5: looking at his phone checking there, rather than being locked
- 15:11Speaker 5: in here on the radio.
- 15:12Speaker 3: I just wanted to make sure that the information the
- 15:14Speaker 3: top brass were giving us was accurate.
- 15:20Speaker 5: Patten, I think you've unpluged your microphone.
- 15:23Speaker 2: The EMU it's just died. He's called the card out
- 15:30Speaker 2: of the back of it. You guse. I'm over these
- 15:32Speaker 2: excuses for I'm unplugging. He's fair boy.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Slip the hold Achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio hod Akey
