- 0:03Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to another episode on the Bustle
- 0:06Speaker 1: with the Boys Spring Tour.
- 0:07Speaker 2: As always, we are brought to you by Chevrolet.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Chevrolet is a trusted company that has been innovating for
- 0:11Speaker 1: the last one hundred years. Up to now, most electric
- 0:14Speaker 1: vehicles have been either too expensive, too small, or too
- 0:17Speaker 1: limited in capabilities for most people. Chevrolet has committed to
- 0:21Speaker 1: making EV's available for all Americans. There is a growing
- 0:24Speaker 1: network of public charging stations. There are over nineteen hundred
- 0:27Speaker 1: certified Chevy EV dealerships. Chevy has a convenient ways to
- 0:31Speaker 1: research and shop EV's online. EV's for everyone everywhere. Boys,
- 0:36Speaker 1: Welcome to the show.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Appreciate you.
- 0:38Speaker 4: I don't appreciate you.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys watched the show very often,
- 0:41Speaker 1: but anytime we have ads. I'm not a great reader.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I didn't get into the University of Michigan because of
- 0:44Speaker 1: my academics, so when I read, it usually doesn't go
- 0:48Speaker 1: that well. So I appreciate you us seeing greatness right there.
- 0:51Speaker 1: How we feeling today for the spring game? Feeling good? Yeah?
- 0:54Speaker 1: What are your expectations? What were your expectations going into
- 0:58Speaker 1: spring practice as far as getting better as a player.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Shoot, my expectations.
- 1:02Speaker 5: I was an incoming freshman, so I was just like
- 1:04Speaker 5: trying to learn a lot. So I didn't know where
- 1:06Speaker 5: it was gonna take me. But I started picking up
- 1:08Speaker 5: a little faster and yeah, like I'm happy where I
- 1:12Speaker 5: am now. Just got to keep growing.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Because you had a lot of adversity going in high school.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, yeah, it was wild.
- 1:18Speaker 1: What was your process like coming to Arizona State when
- 1:21Speaker 1: before you were committed to Florida.
- 1:22Speaker 2: All right, yeah, you're committed to Florida.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Obviously there was a big story about you in massive
- 1:27Speaker 1: nil deals. Yeah, and then now coming here, which from
- 1:31Speaker 1: my understanding, there's there's not really any ip what was
- 1:34Speaker 1: going on? Yeah, what was your thought process and that
- 1:36Speaker 1: whole thing going through that?
- 1:38Speaker 5: Yeah, my thought process it was a little rough because
- 1:41Speaker 5: I didn't understand it at first. You know, it's a
- 1:43Speaker 5: lot of question marks going on. Like but but honestly,
- 1:47Speaker 5: how I ended up here? You know, my dad, you know,
- 1:50Speaker 5: played here like ninety four through ninety eight or somewhere
- 1:55Speaker 5: around there, so like I always grew up around the program,
- 1:58Speaker 5: you know, just this was like the first colleague team
- 2:00Speaker 5: I knew, you know, I was I was just you know,
- 2:04Speaker 5: figuring it out and and it just meant more to
- 2:06Speaker 5: be here. And that's why he, like coach Dillingham, he's
- 2:08Speaker 5: an Arizona guy, like just like he's trying to feel it.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Fill the room with people want to be here. So
- 2:14Speaker 4: what happened at Florida?
- 2:15Speaker 5: Yeah, so we're having that Florida with everybody knows the headlines. Yeah,
- 2:18Speaker 5: everybody knows the headlines. But your perspective, from my perspective,
- 2:24Speaker 5: I mean, it was a you know, it's just new
- 2:27Speaker 5: to everybody.
- 2:28Speaker 4: It's new to a lot of people.
- 2:29Speaker 6: So you say new you're talking about the nil stuff yeah,
- 2:31Speaker 6: holding everything else.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Yeah, and you know it's just it's it's new to everybody.
- 2:36Speaker 5: So you know, you got a lot of a lot
- 2:39Speaker 5: of people you know included in there. So I mean
- 2:44Speaker 5: it it's hard. It's hard to explain. But but on.
- 2:48Speaker 6: The service level, it seems like reading articles, you had
- 2:51Speaker 6: a lot of money on the table, most of fourteen
- 2:54Speaker 6: million dollars essentially when you signed, they didn't actually have
- 2:57Speaker 6: that money. And then that's when you decided, oh, this
- 3:00Speaker 6: isn't what you guys said it was gonna be.
- 3:03Speaker 4: That's when you decided to ask for.
- 3:05Speaker 6: Getting out of your commitment on this purpase like reading
- 3:08Speaker 6: from a third like, yeah, right outside, looking.
- 3:10Speaker 5: At right, I think a lot of that just comes
- 3:13Speaker 5: in to trust, you know, all that stuff aside, you
- 3:17Speaker 5: know what I mean. So you know, when you're playing
- 3:20Speaker 5: for somebody, you got to try to you know, you
- 3:21Speaker 5: gotta trust everything around you. And just came down to trust.
- 3:25Speaker 5: And that's why I ended up here, to be honest.
- 3:27Speaker 6: Just interesting because you passed up a lot of money
- 3:29Speaker 6: from probably a lot of programs.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that is an interesting financial decision to make when
- 3:34Speaker 1: you were in high school, you're seeing the possibility of
- 3:38Speaker 1: fourteen million dollars. Yeah, brother, I would ship my pants.
- 3:41Speaker 1: There was no there were no nil deals at all.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Like when we played in college. We bring up the
- 3:46Speaker 1: same thing all the time. It's like we could get
- 3:48Speaker 1: a bagel, but no cream cheese. Like all the NCAA
- 3:50Speaker 1: rules were just wild and things just seemed like the
- 3:52Speaker 1: wild West right now. Yeah, and they come here in
- 3:55Speaker 1: this program like both of you to speak on it. Like,
- 3:57Speaker 1: ASU historically has not been one of those programs that
- 4:00Speaker 1: are you know in Nebraska and Alabama Michigan type thing.
- 4:04Speaker 2: What was the draw for both of you?
- 4:06Speaker 1: Obviously your dad playing here, and then where do where
- 4:08Speaker 1: do you think this program can get to in your
- 4:10Speaker 1: times being here in college?
- 4:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:13Speaker 5: Shoot, in my honest opinion, like keim p, like this
- 4:17Speaker 5: is a bigger recruiting tool, you know, so like you
- 4:20Speaker 5: win here, like you can keep it going, and and
- 4:22Speaker 5: like who wouldn't want to live out here? You know
- 4:24Speaker 5: while winning the Pac twelve, you know what I mean? So,
- 4:28Speaker 5: like this's definitely a place you can win. And I'm
- 4:30Speaker 5: sure you guys know, like there's there's certain programs that
- 4:33Speaker 5: can get to that.
- 4:34Speaker 4: You know, there's some programs that, like you know, won't
- 4:37Speaker 4: keep going.
- 4:38Speaker 5: But I think this is a place that we can
- 4:39Speaker 5: win and to keep going becoming a tradition.
- 4:42Speaker 6: How about you, Jeorde? What made you want to come?
- 4:44Speaker 6: Come all the way to a Z from Louisiana?
- 4:46Speaker 7: Yeah, man, I spent a lot of time out here
- 4:48Speaker 7: growing up. This is when my dad did his off
- 4:50Speaker 7: season stuff, you know, whenever I was coming up, So
- 4:52Speaker 7: I spent a lot of time in the area. What's
- 4:53Speaker 7: familiar with it? There were players in my position room
- 4:57Speaker 7: that looked like me.
- 4:58Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 4:59Speaker 7: I'm an undersized so it was big to me that
- 5:01Speaker 7: I was going a place where they played people that
- 5:03Speaker 7: were my size, you know what I'm saying. So I
- 5:04Speaker 7: knew that wouldn't be a factor in deciding who was
- 5:07Speaker 7: gonna get on the field who wouldn't.
- 5:08Speaker 3: And then outside of that, I just love to be bro.
- 5:11Speaker 7: I love how close I am the Scottsdale all, love
- 5:12Speaker 7: everything that this area has to offer, you know, as
- 5:15Speaker 7: far as you know, social life, you know what I'm saying,
- 5:17Speaker 7: The academic opportunities I had with the Crunk High School
- 5:21Speaker 7: and all that stuff.
- 5:22Speaker 3: So it was really an easy decision, no brainer for me.
- 5:24Speaker 6: What kind of edge do you feel like you have
- 5:26Speaker 6: because I got to play with your dad for I
- 5:28Speaker 6: think just a year, but kind of being under his
- 5:32Speaker 6: wing growing up, I feel like I've known you because
- 5:33Speaker 6: I've watched when you're when Ryan would would put out
- 5:36Speaker 6: all those videos of all the training he was doing
- 5:39Speaker 6: with all those guys. You were obviously in the Malai
- 5:40Speaker 6: you had a fro at the time, moving around great feet.
- 5:43Speaker 6: What kind of edge do you feel like you've had
- 5:45Speaker 6: coming into the college level, Like having a father like
- 5:47Speaker 6: Ryan Clark, Man.
- 5:49Speaker 7: It was everything, you know, it really is everything. In
- 5:52Speaker 7: high school, man, my dad had me up at four
- 5:54Speaker 7: thirty five o'clock before school working out, and I leave
- 5:57Speaker 7: there and I go to practice, and then after practice,
- 6:00Speaker 7: right back at the gym after school, you know what
- 6:02Speaker 7: I'm saying.
- 6:02Speaker 3: So, you know, just schedules like that. He kind of
- 6:04Speaker 3: gave me the blueprint.
- 6:05Speaker 7: So now whenever I'm doing the work that is to
- 6:08Speaker 7: some people difficult, you know what I'm saying, or hard
- 6:11Speaker 7: I've been doing my entire life is the norm. So
- 6:13Speaker 7: you know, he's prepared me in really every way that
- 6:15Speaker 7: he possibly could to you know, excel at this level.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Was there a level of resistance when he was waking
- 6:20Speaker 1: you up at five am and you're seeing all the
- 6:22Speaker 1: guys in high school because we had we had Christian
- 6:24Speaker 1: McCaffrey on here, and he was basically telling us a
- 6:26Speaker 1: similar story about his dad. His They were like no sweets,
- 6:29Speaker 1: they had gon be in bed at seven thirty and
- 6:31Speaker 1: if you got ackled by your er, yeah, tackled by
- 6:33Speaker 1: your jersey, you're literally grounded. And obviously at the time
- 6:36Speaker 1: he hated it, but now he obviously sees his proof
- 6:38Speaker 1: in the pudding.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Like how was that?
- 6:40Speaker 1: When did you start to realize like, oh, if I
- 6:41Speaker 1: keep doing this stuff, it's gonna pay off.
- 6:43Speaker 7: Yeah, Man, I'll tell the story. I was in my
- 6:45Speaker 7: jem Bree my sophomore year. I had missed like two
- 6:48Speaker 7: or three tackles. And if there's one thing that my
- 6:50Speaker 7: dad did when he played it was he hunted Bro
- 6:51Speaker 7: like he was a banger. So I missed three tackles
- 6:54Speaker 7: and I seen him stand up in the stands and
- 6:56Speaker 7: I already knew he's Matt. And the next day, Bro,
- 6:58Speaker 7: he woke me up and he brought out Super Bowl
- 7:00Speaker 7: helmet in his past and we did Oklahoma's for like
- 7:04Speaker 7: an hour. No, no, bro, Bro, legitimate hour, like lined
- 7:07Speaker 7: up across each other, like five yards away from each other,
- 7:10Speaker 7: just ran into each other for like an hour. And
- 7:12Speaker 7: I got yelled at, cushed out like everything, and I
- 7:15Speaker 7: was like, I was mad. I went home crying like
- 7:17Speaker 7: I was hurt. But how old were you sophomore in
- 7:19Speaker 7: high school?
- 7:20Speaker 3: How old is that?
- 7:22Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 7:22Speaker 3: I was about fifteen. Yeah, how old are you know?
- 7:26Speaker 3: About six years ago? Man? That is so funny.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Bedroom that night before he walke come up just like
- 7:35Speaker 2: this motherfucker's.
- 7:36Speaker 6: But I will say this, whether it was walk through
- 7:39Speaker 6: his jog throughs anything, even like being in the linebacker
- 7:42Speaker 6: room or linebacker coach would even point out Ryan because
- 7:44Speaker 6: he was getting when he was getting longer than the Tuesday,
- 7:46Speaker 6: getting aged, something that he was always persistent at and professional.
- 7:50Speaker 6: I was like, he always took angles and worked his
- 7:53Speaker 6: angles every day. And I'm sure you've talked to enough
- 7:57Speaker 6: old heads that played with him, but he really was
- 7:58Speaker 6: like that until basically he died out of the league.
- 8:00Speaker 3: No teasing piece of what we all.
- 8:02Speaker 6: Die, but everyone dies, everyone dies, but you truly like,
- 8:05Speaker 6: I mean, he was a he's a he's a pro.
- 8:07Speaker 6: He was a pros pro. You have that as an
- 8:09Speaker 6: old man. Shout out, RC, that's my only shoutout. I'm
- 8:11Speaker 6: gonna give you on our platform, brother, if your whole
- 8:13Speaker 6: bunch when he came on the show, I know.
- 8:14Speaker 3: I know, I love Uncle r C.
- 8:16Speaker 6: I'm sure were you did you live out there in
- 8:18Speaker 6: Virginia when he was out there in Washington. I'm sure
- 8:22Speaker 6: you're out there with the orange chicken. We get a
- 8:24Speaker 6: cheesecake factory. Hell yeah, bro, Hey, he's sorry. Those are
- 8:29Speaker 6: some good buys man, some good times. And Ryan always hosted.
- 8:32Speaker 6: I learned a lot with Ryan with like the IVS
- 8:34Speaker 6: and massage therapists. And when we came out to Arizona,
- 8:38Speaker 6: like being over going over what was the ppeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 8:41Speaker 6: he he looked a lot of a lot of his teammates,
- 8:44Speaker 6: a lot of us up with his people for being
- 8:46Speaker 6: in the league so long.
- 8:47Speaker 2: So did he introduce you to n A D and
- 8:49Speaker 2: all that?
- 8:50Speaker 3: No, any D.
- 8:51Speaker 2: First time I heard about an A D.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Was uh, was out here with with Bobo?
- 8:55Speaker 2: Yeah Nashville.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah, Nashville.
- 8:56Speaker 6: Yeah, not out here in Arizona, but yeah, Nashville is
- 8:58Speaker 6: the person I'd ever heard of it a D. But
- 9:01Speaker 6: all this stuff with the with the ivs and everything
- 9:03Speaker 6: like that, I feel like I was always surrounded by
- 9:05Speaker 6: some good vets like Ryan who come in and they
- 9:07Speaker 6: would always open the door back. Hey, come over, get
- 9:09Speaker 6: work here, get work. There have stuff set up for everybody.
- 9:12Speaker 6: He was always one of them.
- 9:13Speaker 1: When you when your dad took you out on that
- 9:17Speaker 1: faceful morning he did Oklahoma drill.
- 9:20Speaker 2: That's so did he still have it or was he
- 9:22Speaker 2: taking you out?
- 9:23Speaker 3: Yeah? I was getting messed up the old Tom Yeah.
- 9:25Speaker 4: It was that.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:27Speaker 2: He had a super Bowl helmet on.
- 9:28Speaker 7: Yeah, he had a Super Bowl He literally had hel
- 9:31Speaker 7: may he wore in the super Bowl, Bro, no picture
- 9:33Speaker 7: and pulling.
- 9:33Speaker 2: It out of like the glass case.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Yeah, open it up, getting out real careful, wiping it down.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Today he ordered like.
- 9:40Speaker 7: A he ordered like a practice jersey that looked like
- 9:42Speaker 7: my high school practice jersey, like broad and everything.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Yeah, y, that is hilarious. So after that day, what
- 9:52Speaker 1: lesson did that?
- 9:52Speaker 3: T shoe, no misstackle, don't miss no miss taos.
- 9:56Speaker 2: How are you tackling now?
- 9:57Speaker 3: They were pretty good? Yeah, my team is about to
- 9:59Speaker 3: go pretty good.
- 10:00Speaker 2: That's not the way your your dad will answered that question.
- 10:02Speaker 1: We had him on the bus and we were talking
- 10:04Speaker 1: about Derek Henry, who we were talking about before the podcast,
- 10:06Speaker 1: and he was saying that he would stand Derek up
- 10:09Speaker 1: in the hole.
- 10:10Speaker 7: Knocking lie Bro, I think he would. He would literally
- 10:14Speaker 7: die trying, like literally he would crack.
- 10:17Speaker 3: He would. He is willing to die to do that.
- 10:20Speaker 2: So I believe you believe he would do it?
- 10:22Speaker 3: Yes, Yeah, you don't.
- 10:23Speaker 4: You don't think so we're talking you can't.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I don't know why we're getting into this again.
- 10:28Speaker 6: The majority, the majority of defensive players that would have
- 10:32Speaker 6: a zero place to go lane against Derek.
- 10:36Speaker 1: You're going to get Derek to the ground. Yeah, but
- 10:38Speaker 1: you're the way you're phrasing it. If you're what about
- 10:41Speaker 1: you're in open space. He breaks the hole, he's coming up.
- 10:44Speaker 6: Now we're now we're changing the goalpost again, like, yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 6: we're changing this is we're getting in this exact same conversation.
- 10:49Speaker 6: Do you think he would Roberts playing Derek? Are you
- 10:51Speaker 6: talking about Ryan? Yeah?
- 10:53Speaker 3: Ryan through his body?
- 10:55Speaker 6: Yeah, like I'm not I've never seen him, I never
- 10:59Speaker 6: you need to type in right in Clark College. I'm
- 11:00Speaker 6: not saying he's like the hardest hitter to ever come,
- 11:02Speaker 6: like he's some Schawn Tier or anything like that, But
- 11:04Speaker 6: I mean, yeah, Ryan is willing to rip, would have
- 11:07Speaker 6: been willing to risk his life to win in the hole.
- 11:10Speaker 3: You gotta love that man, he right, I mean, I.
- 11:13Speaker 6: Mean Willison Wilson Gah, it wasn't like it's not like
- 11:17Speaker 6: he was seeing him. But just yeah, go watch some
- 11:19Speaker 6: Ryan Clark tape. I mean he he brought the boom.
- 11:22Speaker 6: I mean, he didn't play just thirteen years undrafted. Just
- 11:26Speaker 6: I don't know fluting out there, you know what I
- 11:28Speaker 6: mean I'm wrong with.
- 11:33Speaker 3: With Jade, And how have you been acclimating.
- 11:35Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean act mating pretty good, like I think
- 11:38Speaker 5: living in Timpee makes it a little easier, you know,
- 11:41Speaker 5: being from California, Like it's not much different. I love
- 11:45Speaker 5: it out here, Like I don't even miss home at all.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Like I'm not even going back for summer, Like no
- 11:50Speaker 5: no brakes or nothing.
- 11:51Speaker 4: I'm staying out here but here.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Yeah, Like you got everything you need out here, A
- 11:57Speaker 5: lot of resources, a lot of like good networking, you know,
- 12:01Speaker 5: a lot of getting networking.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Hey, I've been out here in tenp I remember coming
- 12:05Speaker 1: out here and visiting from Michigan. I know what the
- 12:06Speaker 1: resources you're talking about.
- 12:08Speaker 6: What what was it like with Coach D you talk
- 12:13Speaker 6: about trust, trust.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Levels and everything else. What was it about him that
- 12:16Speaker 3: brought you here?
- 12:16Speaker 6: Because yeah, you know, listen, everybody's gonna listen to hear
- 12:19Speaker 6: about you passing up fourteen probably everywhere down to eight
- 12:23Speaker 6: million dollars that you passed up from all these different
- 12:25Speaker 6: schools to come play for nothing, And there was on
- 12:26Speaker 6: the state. What was it about Coach D and that staff,
- 12:29Speaker 6: Like what I know your dad played out here, that
- 12:31Speaker 6: trust level?
- 12:32Speaker 3: Talk about that?
- 12:32Speaker 5: No, Yeah, so like a big thing too with me
- 12:34Speaker 5: coming here was you know I noticed what it was before,
- 12:39Speaker 5: Like as far as like the NIO stuff, and I
- 12:42Speaker 5: was like, you know, it was it was making me
- 12:45Speaker 5: realize what was really important, you know, because and what
- 12:48Speaker 5: really like made me happy, you know, and and going
- 12:51Speaker 5: through all that stuff like it didn't make me you know,
- 12:54Speaker 5: it was just making things worse and worse.
- 12:55Speaker 4: So I was like, you need to go somewhere that's stressful. Yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 4: it was bad, Like it was bad.
- 13:00Speaker 5: So I had to go somewhere where it met more
- 13:02Speaker 5: to me and uh where I could trust everybody in
- 13:05Speaker 5: the building. And uh so Dilly Dilly recruited me at
- 13:08Speaker 5: Orgon my like into sophomore year, whole junior year, and
- 13:13Speaker 5: I almost committed to organ almost committed to Orgon, and
- 13:17Speaker 5: Delly told me like he's like, just go take your visits,
- 13:20Speaker 5: like make sure like this is the place you want
- 13:22Speaker 5: to be, Like he always he always like looked out
- 13:26Speaker 5: like not even if it was in his favor. When
- 13:28Speaker 5: I was committed other places, I was asking him like, hey,
- 13:30Speaker 5: what do you think of this? What do you think
- 13:32Speaker 5: of that? And he was like one of the few
- 13:34Speaker 5: coaches I had that relationship with. So when when I
- 13:38Speaker 5: got my release, like I kind of knew, you know,
- 13:41Speaker 5: I knew where I was gonna end up going because like, yeah,
- 13:44Speaker 5: that's somebody I trust. He never really lied to me
- 13:47Speaker 5: like ever, always kept it pretty real.
- 13:49Speaker 4: So yeah, that's cool.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Man.
- 13:51Speaker 1: He's a guy that seems like he has really like
- 13:53Speaker 1: an incredibly good energy. Yeah, Like he's the high energy
- 13:56Speaker 1: dude you'll walk in through the cafeteria. He was yelling
- 13:58Speaker 1: at guys from across the hall, just like a dude
- 14:00Speaker 1: that's like young enough to still like exact relate with
- 14:03Speaker 1: you guys exactly we got I know, we have to
- 14:06Speaker 1: wrap it right around fifteen minutes right now, but just
- 14:09Speaker 1: kind of like a two part or like from an
- 14:11Speaker 1: Arizona State standpoint, where do you guys see the expectation
- 14:15Speaker 1: for you guys going into this year and then where
- 14:17Speaker 1: do you think you can get to by the end
- 14:19Speaker 1: of your careers here?
- 14:21Speaker 4: Yeah? Go first, go ahead, go ahead.
- 14:24Speaker 7: Just for this year, man, the sky's the limit, you
- 14:26Speaker 7: know what I'm saying, Just with the new energy that
- 14:28Speaker 7: we have in the building and the new guys that
- 14:29Speaker 7: we brought in, you know, getting kids like dating here man,
- 14:32Speaker 7: the talent that we have here, and the opportunities that
- 14:35Speaker 7: we have as far as our schedule this year, I
- 14:37Speaker 7: think that we're gonna we're gonna shock a lot of
- 14:38Speaker 7: people that we're gonna win a lot of football games.
- 14:40Speaker 7: And I think we're gonna be the beginning of a
- 14:43Speaker 7: dynasty here with coach Dellingham. And for me, I just
- 14:46Speaker 7: want to I just want to win football games. That's
- 14:48Speaker 7: all that's important to me. Individual accolades don't really matter
- 14:51Speaker 7: too much.
- 14:51Speaker 4: You know.
- 14:52Speaker 7: I want to play goodball always. But what I want
- 14:55Speaker 7: is for this place to be return to the top.
- 14:57Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying. I want to be top four,
- 14:59Speaker 7: top five agains like there were some years ago. I
- 15:01Speaker 7: want to do that stuff. I want to bring that
- 15:02Speaker 7: energy back. So that's what I'm looking forward to doing.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 15:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I think, like, you know, to piggyback on what
- 15:09Speaker 5: he was saying, you know, just winning, you know how
- 15:11Speaker 5: important that is. You kind of see like how important
- 15:13Speaker 5: it is to everybody on the team too, like just
- 15:15Speaker 5: with the energy coming in. So I think this year,
- 15:18Speaker 5: you know, players to win, you know, win as much
- 15:21Speaker 5: games as possible, and really this year will set the
- 15:24Speaker 5: tone for the years after that and just build from there.
- 15:28Speaker 5: And I think this, like I think this program like
- 15:30Speaker 5: could be playing for pac toil championship, Like I wouldn't
- 15:35Speaker 5: be surprised if it happened this year, and definitely not
- 15:38Speaker 5: you know, the next couple of years. On top of that,
- 15:40Speaker 5: especially with the older guys, they come in like set
- 15:42Speaker 5: the tone, like no egos, you know, helping a lot
- 15:45Speaker 5: of the younger dudes out. And that always shows a
- 15:48Speaker 5: lot about a team, you know, because been on like
- 15:50Speaker 5: some team with individuals, you guys, you can't win like
- 15:53Speaker 5: that no matter how talented you are. So and coaches
- 15:57Speaker 5: big on like tradition, you know, and having a culture,
- 16:01Speaker 5: you know, so he's definitely trying to bring that back
- 16:03Speaker 5: here and like, yeah, I think I think sky is
- 16:06Speaker 5: really the limit. Like I'm not even just saying that,
- 16:08Speaker 5: like we'll shock some people.
- 16:10Speaker 6: We appreciate you guys, man, I do want to know
- 16:12Speaker 6: when when was the Arizona State in the top five?
- 16:15Speaker 7: Yeah, oh, whenever they played Notre Dame that year they
- 16:17Speaker 7: lost to Oregon State in the last game of the season.
- 16:19Speaker 3: But I'm just checking, just checking.
- 16:21Speaker 1: They said back Yeah, they said back to the top.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I was thinking to myself, Yeah, I know in fact,
- 16:26Speaker 1: all right.
- 16:28Speaker 8: Take that actually have it. Hey, I appreciate you guys, man.
- 16:32Speaker 8: Guess what okay, so not top. We didn't you do that,
- 16:36Speaker 8: But that's what he's talking. He's like, he trying to
- 16:37Speaker 8: get him back back in there.
- 16:40Speaker 2: That conversation.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Hey, we appreciate you guys many yeah.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Man, guys always fellows.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Subscribe rate five stars, big hugs, tiny kisses.
