GIANTS POSTCAST: Giants Ninth Inning COLLAPSE Spoils Would-Be Series Sweep
The San Francisco Giants carried a six-run lead into the ninth inning today and appeared to be well on their way to their first sweep of the season, but the bullpen surrendered seven runs in the final frame to the Cincinnati Reds, falling 10-9. This bullpen has had to cover a ton of innings in this series, and a collapse like this felt like it was inevitable once the wheels started to come off. Logan Webb pitched well today in the loss, and the offense showed off a ton of power despite the disappointing outcome.
