- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It's Lala Kent.
- 0:02Speaker 3: Welcome to Untraditionally, Lala, Hello, gorgeous, Welcome back to Untraditionally, Lala.
- 0:11Speaker 3: I am here with my ride or die as per usual.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Welcome back to the podcast, Easton.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Good to be here.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Good to be here, you guys.
- 0:20Speaker 3: We just got back from Utah, and I don't know
- 0:24Speaker 3: what it was about that trip, but it was a trip.
- 0:28Speaker 3: It was a trip. I felt like a pack mule
- 0:31Speaker 3: the entire time. And I have a very strange relationship
- 0:37Speaker 3: with going back to Utah. My mom doesn't have it,
- 0:41Speaker 3: Easton doesn't really have it. I get very very triggered
- 0:48Speaker 3: by going back, and I want to deep dive into
- 0:50Speaker 3: it and our trip, and it was obviously an incredible trip,
- 0:55Speaker 3: but I want to walk you through like my headspace
- 0:58Speaker 3: whenever I go back.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Which is why I don't.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Think your headspace is right there though, because I feel
- 1:04Speaker 1: what you feel. I just have a lot of good friends.
- 1:07Speaker 1: But I when you talk about it, okay, I'll elaborate.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:12Speaker 3: So the first thing that I want to tell you
- 1:15Speaker 3: guys about the other night. It was last week. We
- 1:18Speaker 3: went out to dinner.
- 1:19Speaker 1: You and Janet.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Yeah, we went out to dinner for Leo's birthday. So,
- 1:26Speaker 3: Leo and Logan are my gays. They're my gusbands the vault.
- 1:30Speaker 3: They know the ins and outs of every detail of
- 1:33Speaker 3: my life, every wound, and they're just like when I
- 1:37Speaker 3: think about people who make a party and make my
- 1:39Speaker 3: soul happy and fill my cup, it is them, like
- 1:43Speaker 3: they're my reality.
- 1:44Speaker 2: It's wonderful.
- 1:45Speaker 3: So I was so excited to go out to celebrate Leo.
- 1:48Speaker 3: And we went to a place called Dante, which is
- 1:51Speaker 3: the same place that I had my baby shower with Sosa,
- 1:55Speaker 3: And it was just myself, Janet, Brittany, Logan, Leoh, Janet
- 2:00Speaker 3: and I get there early because we're like, it'll be cute,
- 2:02Speaker 3: like sit at the bar.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I would love to have a pineapple juice with like
- 2:05Speaker 2: a lime.
- 2:07Speaker 3: We pull out the chairs at the bar and literally
- 2:10Speaker 3: as soon as our asses hit the seats, I see,
- 2:13Speaker 3: out of the corner of my eye.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Men, prowling men, these two fucking men.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Now, keep in mind, if I were in my mental
- 2:21Speaker 3: late sixties pushing into seventies, they.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Would have been a great catch.
- 2:25Speaker 3: That would have been a great catch, and it would
- 2:27Speaker 3: have been an age appropriate coming together. Right but clearly
- 2:32Speaker 3: this is not what these men want. One sits next
- 2:35Speaker 3: to Janet. I'm like this, like Easta and I are
- 2:39Speaker 3: right next to each other. This is me and Janet.
- 2:40Speaker 3: So the guy is like, my, my guy, oh, my
- 2:43Speaker 3: guy is just like flingering right here, and he starts
- 2:49Speaker 3: speaking French to me. And I'm feeding into it, you guys,
- 2:52Speaker 3: because I'm an asshole. I was like, oh, that's gorgeous.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Oh my god. And he's like, you want to know
- 2:59Speaker 3: what I said? And he like tells me what he said.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Couldn't tell you what he said.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I zoned out.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I couldn't believe it was fucking happening.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I was like, wow, what am I giving off right
- 3:09Speaker 3: now that would make this man think that I want this.
- 3:13Speaker 3: So then he goes, if I had a guitar, I
- 3:17Speaker 3: would sing to you, and I was like, oh, that
- 3:20Speaker 3: sounds wonderful. He starts belting, belting at the bar.
- 3:25Speaker 1: No guitar.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I'm like, it seems that you don't need it.
- 3:28Speaker 1: You don't need it, gitar. He finishes singing and the
- 3:32Speaker 1: bartender walks up to me. He's like, hey, are you okay?
- 3:34Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, could I get a pineapple with
- 3:36Speaker 3: a splash of soda water in a line. At that point,
- 3:39Speaker 3: the bartender knew, like, oh, this girl's in her frame
- 3:42Speaker 3: of mind.
- 3:42Speaker 1: She solid, I don't need.
- 3:43Speaker 2: To help her out.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Then the man grabs my hand and he's caressing it.
- 3:48Speaker 4: He's like.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Caressing it. I'm so skewed out too. I'm like, this
- 3:54Speaker 3: feels like my grandpa's holding my hand.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I know, I know.
- 4:00Speaker 3: And he's like, you look like a woman who loves
- 4:04Speaker 3: homes in Beverly Hills.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I was like, of course, who.
- 4:07Speaker 4: Doesn't want want And he goes, you look like you
- 4:11Speaker 4: love six thousand square foot homes in Beverly Hills and
- 4:15Speaker 4: I was like, of course, because you look like you have.
- 4:21Speaker 1: He goes on the list.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Just wait, you look like you love homes abroad. He
- 4:26Speaker 2: tells me he has homes abroad. And I was like, oh, yeah.
- 4:29Speaker 1: You look like book what you look like you?
- 4:34Speaker 3: Then I was like all right, okay, And he's still
- 4:38Speaker 3: caressing the hand, gripping it, and I've gone limp in
- 4:41Speaker 3: his hand, but he's still got his grip.
- 4:44Speaker 2: He goes, you look like you love private jets.
- 4:49Speaker 3: I was like, oh no, I'm like that was a
- 4:52Speaker 3: whole thing. By the way, La La on private junks,
- 4:54Speaker 3: BJS for pre js. I really don't want that label
- 4:57Speaker 3: coming back. So in my because I was very kind.
- 5:01Speaker 3: In my head, I'm thinking, all of those things sound awesome.
- 5:07Speaker 2: The problem is you come with all of those things.
- 5:10Speaker 1: That's where you lose me.
- 5:12Speaker 2: All right, all right, ain't worth it?
- 5:16Speaker 3: So then he I, he asks me at the same
- 5:20Speaker 3: exact time, if I am in a relationship, Janet has
- 5:24Speaker 3: just told her guy that she's happily married and that
- 5:28Speaker 3: I'm single.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Thank you, Janet, Janet, Janet, you'd done fucked up.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Well, I tell the guy that I'm in a partnership
- 5:39Speaker 3: and he goes, why don't you have a ring on?
- 5:41Speaker 3: And I go, oh, I don't believe in marriage. He's like,
- 5:43Speaker 3: so what is he to you? Then I said, he's
- 5:45Speaker 3: my life partner, like where we've chosen to be together forever.
- 5:48Speaker 3: And he was let me tell you something, if you
- 5:51Speaker 3: were mine, I would never let you go and we
- 5:55Speaker 3: would be getting married.
- 5:56Speaker 1: And I go, see, we would never work out. We
- 5:58Speaker 1: would never work out because you want marriage and I don't.
- 6:02Speaker 1: We were so close, and I promise you that guy
- 6:06Speaker 1: prowling at the bar for thirty year old women, he's
- 6:10Speaker 1: not wanting to be married either.
- 6:11Speaker 2: By the way, now.
- 6:12Speaker 1: He's full of shit. And also he he goes, well,
- 6:17Speaker 1: then let me see this life partner.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Does he have a mug shot? And I was like,
- 6:20Speaker 3: you're such a dick. Anyway, logan appears, Thank god. The
- 6:25Speaker 3: guy goes downstairs. And we were at dinner for over
- 6:28Speaker 3: two and a half hours, and they came back up
- 6:30Speaker 3: and had the audacity to say, you guys are still here.
- 6:34Speaker 1: You are, we're having dinner.
- 6:36Speaker 3: You're peeing around doing nothing but how to drink in
- 6:39Speaker 3: your hand the whole time.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Coming back up three and a half hours or three
- 6:42Speaker 1: hours later, they got to make another round. See if
- 6:45Speaker 1: the new see if there's fresh women. See if the
- 6:48Speaker 1: bar is rotating. Yes, the bar, it was not rotating.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And Janet goes, wow, I have not been hit on
- 6:54Speaker 1: in ten years.
- 6:55Speaker 3: I was like, I haven't either, but mostly because I
- 6:57Speaker 3: haven't left the house in ten years.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Like this is weird. It's good, but it feels good though,
- 7:02Speaker 1: right I feel I felt nothing.
- 7:04Speaker 3: In fact, I questioned myself, what am I giving that
- 7:07Speaker 3: would make these men feel like they're not doing their audience? Men?
- 7:12Speaker 1: Men are men, and men are at that age.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I mean, keep in mind Eastern. I had on a
- 7:18Speaker 3: dress by naked wardrobe, turtleneck. Turtleneck dress covers everything, long
- 7:25Speaker 3: sleeve down to my ankles, no slit. I had to
- 7:29Speaker 3: baby step all the way up to Dante. Looked like
- 7:32Speaker 3: a damn fool. But even my outfit wasn't giving like, yes,
- 7:36Speaker 3: come hither. It was giving statement, Oh my god.
- 7:40Speaker 1: And we were He's like, all right, fuck it, practice round,
- 7:45Speaker 1: practice round, practice round. We'll get this one right. We'll
- 7:49Speaker 1: come up three hours later. Get right. Oh my god,
- 7:53Speaker 1: you're right. He's like, I don't even care if I
- 7:55Speaker 1: get laid. I'm just practicing this. The verbal uh, the
- 7:58Speaker 1: verbal use.
- 7:59Speaker 3: I'm about to right right, because it was only seven thirty.
- 8:06Speaker 2: We were the practice around. They failed.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Oh I know, these men get there early, see how
- 8:13Speaker 1: it is, and then.
- 8:15Speaker 2: You have time to go somewhere else.
- 8:16Speaker 1: No, well maybe, but then they're probably like, we'll just
- 8:20Speaker 1: wait for them to get a little drunk, and then
- 8:23Speaker 1: maybe we'll be appealing when they're drunk.
- 8:27Speaker 2: That would have worked had I been drinking. Actually, like private.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Jet, let's go out would have worked on me too.
- 8:35Speaker 3: And this is why sobriety has single handedly saved my life.
- 8:39Speaker 1: No more charity fucking here.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Even for a jet. So, speaking of Janet, the Valley
- 8:47Speaker 3: trailer has officially come out. So they not only released
- 8:52Speaker 3: the trailer, but they they released like little tidbits about
- 8:57Speaker 3: our storylines, each person and this is what they said
- 8:59Speaker 3: about now in a new chapter in her life, Laala's
- 9:02Speaker 3: main priority is raising her daughter's ocean and so so
- 9:05Speaker 3: all while inching closer to her seven year sober anniversary.
- 9:08Speaker 3: She forms a close friendship with Michelle and Tom as
- 9:11Speaker 3: they bond over being the single ones in the group,
- 9:13Speaker 3: and opens up about her mental health and anxiety. Never
- 9:16Speaker 3: afraid to speak her truth, she is quick to call
- 9:18Speaker 3: out someone in the group when they act out of turn.
- 9:21Speaker 3: I mean, yes, this is great. I would say that
- 9:25Speaker 3: that's that's pretty spot on.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Yeah, could you elaborate on anything else? Could you add
- 9:33Speaker 1: anything to what you have in the season that people
- 9:37Speaker 1: may not know?
- 9:37Speaker 3: This is my hope again, I have zero control over editing.
- 9:42Speaker 3: I hope that they allow me to talk about the
- 9:46Speaker 3: real reason and they actually the real reason why I
- 9:49Speaker 3: have my tremendous anxiety this season.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Yes, yes, you know, And if they don't, now that
- 9:58Speaker 1: it's out there, people will be asking, you know, if
- 10:00Speaker 1: it's not seen, So either way, you're going to be
- 10:02Speaker 1: able to let it out right. You know what I
- 10:03Speaker 1: do like about because I feel like that's going to
- 10:05Speaker 1: help a lot of people when it comes to anxiety
- 10:07Speaker 1: and why you have it. If they don't show it,
- 10:09Speaker 1: I think you should bring it up on the podcast
- 10:11Speaker 1: because everybody needs a couple more tools in their bag
- 10:15Speaker 1: to deal with anxiety.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I think so too.
- 10:16Speaker 3: And also what I do like about The Valley, which
- 10:19Speaker 3: is kind of similar to how things that we see
- 10:22Speaker 3: on Housewives, is they they allow us to break the
- 10:25Speaker 3: fourth wall. It was not often on vander Pump that
- 10:28Speaker 3: we could break the fourth wall because we started as
- 10:30Speaker 3: a bunch of servers and hosts. Is that we're working
- 10:35Speaker 3: at a restaurant and slowly but surely gained a lot
- 10:39Speaker 3: of notoriety and fame that kind of just fucked with
- 10:44Speaker 3: you know what the show was really about, you know. Yeah,
- 10:49Speaker 3: so The Valley definitely was different in that capacity too.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Is they're really showing They show a lot about how
- 10:57Speaker 3: we get to go and do things. And I built
- 11:00Speaker 3: this life off of reality TV and the opportunities that
- 11:04Speaker 3: came with that. Yeah, So I like this description. This
- 11:08Speaker 3: is a great description for me being my toe back
- 11:11Speaker 3: in here a fault. It looks really good again. I
- 11:17Speaker 3: did not film every single scene, so to see what
- 11:20Speaker 3: other people were going through.
- 11:23Speaker 2: It was like, oh shit.
- 11:25Speaker 1: It's a good season.
- 11:25Speaker 3: You think you know, I have heard that it is
- 11:30Speaker 3: a very very good season, very good season, and it.
- 11:34Speaker 3: I liked going into it because it was fresh perspective.
- 11:41Speaker 3: I didn't know much about what I was going into.
- 11:44Speaker 3: I feel like I took the time to kind of
- 11:47Speaker 3: listen and get to know people, and it was like
- 11:50Speaker 3: a fresh set of eyes, fresh set of ears. I
- 11:53Speaker 3: didn't want anyone clouding my judgment on anybody, because just
- 11:57Speaker 3: because you don't connect with someone doesn't mean I won't
- 11:59Speaker 3: connect with some one. I thought the trailer looked amazing
- 12:03Speaker 3: and entertaining. I'm really excited, and you know, I was
- 12:07Speaker 3: going into it like I. I got the email yesterday
- 12:10Speaker 3: like hey, the Valley trailer is coming out tomorrow, and
- 12:14Speaker 3: I instantly started panicking. I'm like, oh no, PTSD, PTSD,
- 12:18Speaker 3: So one thing checked off the list. We dipped the
- 12:22Speaker 3: toe in the water April first April, first April fools.
- 12:26Speaker 1: On April fools. Maybe it's in April fools.
- 12:29Speaker 3: No, it's not an April fools, but that'll see. Now
- 12:31Speaker 3: I'm having a panic attack.
- 12:32Speaker 1: April first.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I had my boobs done on the sixteenth, so I'll
- 12:40Speaker 3: be consumed with that. Okay, we've got some time, but
- 12:44Speaker 3: I will start freaking out. I'm freaking out right now.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Actually I'm freaking out. Man.
- 12:51Speaker 3: I know I've just been like off the grid, enjoying
- 12:53Speaker 3: my life. And you know, I always say I love
- 12:57Speaker 3: making reality TV.
- 12:58Speaker 1: But the second they're like, hey, you're.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Gonna make reality TV, I'm like, no, put me back
- 13:02Speaker 3: in the Wow.
- 13:03Speaker 1: I like my when it's over, when the cameras are down,
- 13:07Speaker 1: and then you get to just be on your whole again.
- 13:08Speaker 3: That's when you're making it is the funnest part. It's
- 13:12Speaker 3: when it comes out that you start having a panic
- 13:14Speaker 3: attack because now it's for everyone else. Does judge how
- 13:17Speaker 3: you handled shit?
- 13:18Speaker 1: No? You guys. That's the one thing that I never
- 13:21Speaker 1: realized watching like not being a part of it, because
- 13:25Speaker 1: I watched this before you were on it and watching
- 13:28Speaker 1: reality TV and just like, yes, it's on for just
- 13:31Speaker 1: like three three four months, right, depending on.
- 13:35Speaker 2: How many episodes you get.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Yeah, but to see that like it is a full
- 13:40Speaker 1: time job, and talking to other people who just went
- 13:44Speaker 1: into like the Mormon wives, talking to them and like,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it is a full time job. Yes, you're filming for
- 13:50Speaker 1: a short period of the year. That takes up a
- 13:53Speaker 1: good amount of mental capacity. But then once you're done
- 13:56Speaker 1: filming and you feel like you're done, that's when stories
- 14:00Speaker 1: being brought up and things like that, and now you're
- 14:03Speaker 1: mentally still back at work. And then when it releases,
- 14:06Speaker 1: you're living through what you already filmed. So it's like
- 14:08Speaker 1: it's a year long process that you have to live through.
- 14:11Speaker 1: And I never really even understood that coming from just
- 14:15Speaker 1: a viewer and now being kind of somebody who sees
- 14:17Speaker 1: you Janet all of these people, it is a full
- 14:21Speaker 1: time job, right.
- 14:22Speaker 3: I will say though, going into it, I didn't realize
- 14:27Speaker 3: and I don't know how this came across. I've said
- 14:31Speaker 3: it a couple of times where people have asked what
- 14:33Speaker 3: was the difference between VPR and filming the Valley, and
- 14:36Speaker 3: I said VPR was a well oiled machine, And I
- 14:39Speaker 3: realized me going onto the Valley, I was a well
- 14:40Speaker 3: oiled machine. I didn't mean that as an insult, because
- 14:44Speaker 3: it's far from that. I had such a great time
- 14:48Speaker 3: filming with everybody, and you know, Kristin Dodie most there's
- 14:53Speaker 3: not many people who make reality TV like she does.
- 14:56Speaker 3: There's not many people who make reality TV like Britney
- 14:58Speaker 3: who are so willing to share their day to day
- 15:02Speaker 3: and what they're going through, like nothing is off limits, right.
- 15:06Speaker 3: But I love it, and I think and I love
- 15:09Speaker 3: it too, and there's and that's what we love.
- 15:11Speaker 1: We do love it.
- 15:12Speaker 3: And that's why there was a moment when I did
- 15:14Speaker 3: like the I did the Haters podcast, but I also
- 15:17Speaker 3: did the Lover's podcast because I wanted to give the
- 15:21Speaker 3: audience a chance to come in and give reality TV
- 15:25Speaker 3: personalities their flowers because the comments section is loud with
- 15:30Speaker 3: a lot of negativity. But these shows are really helping
- 15:35Speaker 3: people get through tough moments feel less alone. And I
- 15:39Speaker 3: think this season it's going to be the exact same thing.
- 15:44Speaker 3: People having babies, struggling to find the balance between motherhood
- 15:49Speaker 3: and and you know, being a present partner. I grew
- 15:54Speaker 3: to really adore Zach. I think that he's like so
- 15:57Speaker 3: much fun. I had a great time with him Jasmine,
- 15:59Speaker 3: and I was like, oh my gosh, you guys are
- 16:01Speaker 3: a bag of fun. There was so much that I
- 16:04Speaker 3: gained that it almost reminded me of vander pump Roles
- 16:07Speaker 3: because if you guys remember I was new to this
- 16:11Speaker 3: group of people who had been friends for a decade
- 16:13Speaker 3: plus and they had so much history and it took
- 16:16Speaker 3: me a minute for them to accept me. But then
- 16:19Speaker 3: I was a part of the group and friendships and
- 16:23Speaker 3: you know, it doesn't matter earth, it doesn't matter how
- 16:27Speaker 3: it ended. I still hold it close to my heart.
- 16:30Speaker 3: And so going into the valley, it felt like, oh
- 16:33Speaker 3: my gosh, like these these are friendships that I'm actually liking.
- 16:40Speaker 3: And we'll see it's it's everyone has their own thing
- 16:43Speaker 3: going on. We'll see if we like kick it off camera.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I obviously have like my main people. I see Christen
- 16:49Speaker 3: as much as I can with her having the baby
- 16:51Speaker 3: and you know, her life, but we talk and we
- 16:54Speaker 3: have a lot of history. Brittany, I see frequently, Janet Michelle.
- 17:01Speaker 3: So we'll just we'll see where.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Where my place is this season. I have no idea.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I kind of blacked out during filming. The best thing
- 17:08Speaker 1: to do. It's the best thing to do.
- 17:11Speaker 3: A mental blackout. Let's talk about Utah. I I'll ride.
- 17:17Speaker 3: When was the last time you had gone October. Okay,
- 17:21Speaker 3: I stayed there too long this time.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Well, this time we went from Thursday to Tuesday. I
- 17:27Speaker 1: went from Monday to Tuesday. Monday, I went Yeah, eight days,
- 17:31Speaker 1: eight days, little too long in Utah.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Well are the difference is you we got a hotel
- 17:41Speaker 3: and getting to the airport. You guys with kids will
- 17:44Speaker 3: relate to this. I'm like, okay, we're going to the airport.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I really it sounds like a nightmare to check car
- 17:52Speaker 3: seats and a stroller like that sounds awful. What I'm
- 17:55Speaker 3: going to do is have a friend drive my car
- 17:59Speaker 3: with the car our seats, take us to the airport,
- 18:02Speaker 3: and then send Easton out to buy two car seats
- 18:07Speaker 3: that will figure out what to do with them, store
- 18:09Speaker 3: them at one of our friend's houses. He'll pick us
- 18:11Speaker 3: up in the rental with the car seats in. But
- 18:15Speaker 3: you don't think about Okay, I'll be fine without his
- 18:18Speaker 3: stroller while we're there. But then I'm holding my baby
- 18:21Speaker 3: twenty four to seven. My back is wrenched. I have
- 18:24Speaker 3: all of these bags. We checked the big ones, but
- 18:27Speaker 3: I've got like stupid, I've got a diaper back, I've
- 18:32Speaker 3: got my own shit, I've got blankets, I've got the
- 18:35Speaker 3: change of clothes, and I've shoved into the Gech's like
- 18:38Speaker 3: another child. And then we land and we get to
- 18:42Speaker 3: the hotel, and you guys, it is a Thursday to
- 18:46Speaker 3: Tuesday of me treking children and the jeej up and
- 18:51Speaker 3: down the elevator four to five times a day, getting
- 18:55Speaker 3: kids in.
- 18:56Speaker 1: And out of the car.
- 18:56Speaker 3: And keep in mind, love my mom, but I put
- 19:00Speaker 3: her in the car first because I'm like, if without
- 19:02Speaker 3: you and the car first, this is gonna it's just
- 19:05Speaker 3: gonna be a lot jij in the car first. Then
- 19:10Speaker 3: we handle Sosa. Ocean buckles herself as much as she
- 19:13Speaker 3: possibly can. I come around to the driver's side, buckle
- 19:17Speaker 3: the rest and we're off to the races. This was like,
- 19:20Speaker 3: and I'm talking four or five times a day just
- 19:22Speaker 3: to and from the hotel. That doesn't even count. Where
- 19:25Speaker 3: we're going the Children's Museum, which was awesome. Ocean loved that.
- 19:30Speaker 3: We took them to Kid's Empire. That was awesome. We
- 19:36Speaker 3: really went. I really went because Mom was like, we
- 19:39Speaker 3: are going to Utah for Easan's birthday.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I was like, bitch, you got me fucked up. If
- 19:43Speaker 1: you think I'm going to Utah for Eathan's birthday. Hey,
- 19:47Speaker 1: it's my birthday. You should come over. The fuck I
- 19:49Speaker 1: would sho places for your birthday? Oh really, Bahama, Oh
- 19:56Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I've gone terrible places. Is when you were
- 20:00Speaker 1: with that terrible human being?
- 20:02Speaker 2: Where did you go that you didn't like a lot
- 20:04Speaker 2: of places where?
- 20:05Speaker 1: Oh let me see Vegas? Where I didn't want to
- 20:08Speaker 1: be with the three of us to watch him play
- 20:10Speaker 1: fucking poker and ship that.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Was the best kill every time.
- 20:13Speaker 1: He trust me, I've done some ship, all right. So
- 20:15Speaker 1: if I drag your ass to Utah for my birthday,
- 20:18Speaker 1: you better fucking come with Chelsea.
- 20:20Speaker 3: That bashes me off. Ethan doesn't even stay with us.
- 20:22Speaker 3: He stays at a friend's house. You barely even see him.
- 20:25Speaker 3: I have to call him and harass him.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Okay, what are we doing? Mom said, do you guys?
- 20:30Speaker 1: Do you want to stay with us at the hotel?
- 20:31Speaker 1: And I said yeah, and she goes we could share
- 20:34Speaker 1: a room and I said no, So then I went
- 20:36Speaker 1: to my buddies. All right, I'm not sharing a room
- 20:39Speaker 1: with the Thomas the train. It's like I'm trying to
- 20:45Speaker 1: live and properly sleep to the I don't blame you.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I don't blame you at all, but that is why.
- 20:51Speaker 1: And then you guys ended up even getting one room.
- 20:54Speaker 1: So it was a nightmare. Was six days.
- 21:00Speaker 3: I didn't even six days or however many days we
- 21:03Speaker 3: were there.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I was there too long. It was coming to the
- 21:05Speaker 1: point where like I was waking up with anxiety because
- 21:08Speaker 1: I was like, what the fuck is going on here? Nothing?
- 21:12Speaker 1: And the only reason why I really did go is
- 21:14Speaker 1: because on my birthday I was talking to my friends
- 21:17Speaker 1: and there was a chance of snow and I was like,
- 21:19Speaker 1: I kind of want to go skiing. So I went skiing, vomited.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because you were super high in the air,
- 21:26Speaker 2: right high in the air.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Number two. I had to pick them up from the airport.
- 21:30Speaker 1: We were going to eat. I thought, I'm only here
- 21:32Speaker 1: for a day, so I'm gonna get as much skiing in.
- 21:34Speaker 1: So I didn't eat. I got on the lift. Yeah,
- 21:37Speaker 1: I vomited off the lift, just rain and vomit for
- 21:40Speaker 1: those below so even yeah. No. So my buddy Taylor,
- 21:46Speaker 1: he was like, he was like, try not to do
- 21:48Speaker 1: it right now until we're over, and I just was like,
- 21:50Speaker 1: I if you think I care when you're sick, you
- 21:53Speaker 1: do not care.
- 21:54Speaker 3: You vomited on someone's head morning, see if it hit
- 21:58Speaker 3: someone's head.
- 21:59Speaker 1: But I did vomit over ski lift or over the
- 22:01Speaker 1: ski run, and then I got off the lift so bad.
- 22:05Speaker 1: And then I was like dry heaving in my mouth
- 22:08Speaker 1: as I was getting off the lift. And then I
- 22:10Speaker 1: had to like go over to the snow, like I
- 22:12Speaker 1: veered tailor off the route, because like, can you remembered
- 22:15Speaker 1: you remember? Because I have to throw it?
- 22:18Speaker 2: Was it probably watery?
- 22:20Speaker 1: Right? It was all water. It was all water, A
- 22:23Speaker 1: little bit of red bull and then a lot of
- 22:27Speaker 1: orange shimmy. All right, I'm done, I'm done. Trigger warning.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Trigger warning, Skip through, skip through the real reason. Yes,
- 22:36Speaker 3: it was your birthday and I loved spending your birthday
- 22:38Speaker 3: with you.
- 22:38Speaker 1: It was great.
- 22:39Speaker 3: We for Eathan's birthday. I tried to make a reservation,
- 22:42Speaker 3: but then I remembered.
- 22:43Speaker 2: What's Valentine?
- 22:44Speaker 1: Can I remember? We remember me talking about why my birthday?
- 22:48Speaker 1: These are things of why, Like when you have a
- 22:50Speaker 1: normal birthday, you can just be like, I'm a whimmer.
- 22:53Speaker 1: I'm not a planner. I go out on a whim.
- 22:55Speaker 1: If something sounds fun, I want to do it in
- 22:57Speaker 1: the moment, right, So nothing like I can't week from
- 23:00Speaker 1: now go. Yeah, that sounds great for my birthday, but
- 23:02Speaker 1: now on my birthday, everything Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is
- 23:06Speaker 1: booked for Valentine's Day. So it's like there's nothing that
- 23:09Speaker 1: I can even go and do, even though I want
- 23:11Speaker 1: to go out. Yeah, but I don't want to plan it.
- 23:14Speaker 1: It's a very it's a rock and a hard spot.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Don't want to plan it, but I want to go out.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Yeah, see I And there was obviously nowhere for us
- 23:21Speaker 3: to go because everything was booked.
- 23:23Speaker 1: But it was the best birthday.
- 23:24Speaker 3: We just went to went to my older brother's house
- 23:26Speaker 3: and it was great because the kids could play. We
- 23:28Speaker 3: got Cafe Rio, which is like my most favorite thing,
- 23:31Speaker 3: but they franchised it now so there's certain ones that
- 23:34Speaker 3: you can't go to because it it doesn't taste.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Like it used to. Yeah, no, I was. I had
- 23:41Speaker 1: it three times while I was there, and almost three
- 23:43Speaker 1: times just because I was hoping that it would be
- 23:45Speaker 1: better than Brandon's was good. We only can go to
- 23:48Speaker 1: that location. The other one was like burrito soup.
- 23:51Speaker 2: The first one was bad the first Cafe Rio we
- 23:54Speaker 2: went to.
- 23:54Speaker 1: And mine was bad too. When I first got there,
- 23:56Speaker 1: on Monday night. You guys are in there. That's why
- 23:58Speaker 1: I didn't get the burrito, because did and I said,
- 24:01Speaker 1: you're gonna get burritos, I know, and they used to have.
- 24:03Speaker 3: I'd never got the sweet pork, but that was what
- 24:06Speaker 3: they were like, really really known for.
- 24:07Speaker 1: And it's not even it wasn't good, it was not
- 24:10Speaker 1: good enough.
- 24:22Speaker 3: So we did that for Easan's birthday, watched the Olympics,
- 24:27Speaker 3: and then the truest reason. And I don't want this
- 24:31Speaker 3: to sound rude, because we did go for your birthday.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Here's the thing, but the reason for one I they wouldn't.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Here's the thing if it was if that, go on
- 24:40Speaker 1: and tell.
- 24:41Speaker 2: My friend, my dearest friend. Her name's Candace.
- 24:45Speaker 3: We met in a kindergarten missus Condi's class at elementary
- 24:54Speaker 3: where I got a lot of demerits for talking too much.
- 24:58Speaker 3: But I remember the first day of school. Well, I
- 25:00Speaker 3: saw Candace and she had a big bow in her hair,
- 25:02Speaker 3: and I told my mom I want to be friends
- 25:04Speaker 3: with her and have.
- 25:04Speaker 2: A playdate because she's cute.
- 25:06Speaker 3: So my mom approached Candace's mom, Kristin, and said, my
- 25:09Speaker 3: daughter thinks your daughter's cute.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Can we have a playdate.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Kristin at the time was pregnant, and this family, the
- 25:18Speaker 3: Russens at from that point on became like family. Our
- 25:23Speaker 3: moms are friends, our dads were dear friends. Bart always says,
- 25:28Speaker 3: you know, your dad really screwed up my retirement plan
- 25:31Speaker 3: because we were supposed to retire together and go travel.
- 25:36Speaker 3: So Easton is friends with the sons. Candace is my
- 25:41Speaker 3: you know writer died that I have known for how long?
- 25:44Speaker 2: Thirty years? Thirty one years?
- 25:47Speaker 1: Thirty? I mean, yeah, I don't remember. What's crazy is
- 25:50Speaker 1: I don't remember a point in my life with them
- 25:52Speaker 1: not being in it.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Yeah, me too, that's how Yeah, I think. I mean
- 25:56Speaker 3: kindergarten that's five years old. So I was so she
- 25:59Speaker 3: and her husband Dane have been trying to have a
- 26:02Speaker 3: baby for eight years, eight years, and she is finally
- 26:08Speaker 3: pregnant and we're so excited, and she was having her
- 26:13Speaker 3: gender reveal that that Sunday.
- 26:16Speaker 1: I would say, if that wasn't going, I wouldn't have
- 26:19Speaker 1: made you guys like you guys not coming out, and
- 26:21Speaker 1: I would have flown home on like Sunday and then
- 26:24Speaker 1: done my birthday here. Yeah, because I got like, I
- 26:26Speaker 1: got friend.
- 26:27Speaker 3: But I love seeing Brandon and Cheryl and seeing our
- 26:30Speaker 3: niece and nephew.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I loved it.
- 26:32Speaker 3: I want because I know some people listen to this podcast.
- 26:37Speaker 3: I loved seeing all of my people right, which is Brandon,
- 26:41Speaker 3: Cheryl and the kids, and then the reussence.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Those two are the only people that I still have
- 26:47Speaker 1: contact with in Utah. Okay, well I don't have. I
- 26:50Speaker 1: only have two homies that I usually see, and that's
- 26:52Speaker 1: Jake and Taylor. That's true. Yeah, those are the only homies.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Mom has many a friend there.
- 26:58Speaker 3: She frolics in, friends sit there. So I'm so excited
- 27:01Speaker 3: for her. Whether she had a boy or a girl,
- 27:04Speaker 3: she did not give one damn. She was just give
- 27:08Speaker 3: me a baby, give me a healthy baby. And nobody
- 27:11Speaker 3: on this planet. This is a very large statement I'm
- 27:15Speaker 3: about to make deserves to be a mom more than
- 27:17Speaker 3: my friend.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Candace now, and there's many. If you're lucky enough to
- 27:21Speaker 1: know Candace, she ballroom teaches for seventh graders. She you know,
- 27:26Speaker 1: she is a stepmom to three beautiful children who she's
- 27:30Speaker 1: been hands on. She babysat for you. She babysat her
- 27:35Speaker 1: cousins when they were little. Like this, Candace, when I
- 27:38Speaker 1: look at her. She is a mom that is a
- 27:40Speaker 1: mom who's she's always been that way. Yes, and the
- 27:43Speaker 1: fact that she gets to do it with her own
- 27:45Speaker 1: little bug is yeah, like I could cry. It gets
- 27:49Speaker 1: me up, like it's sweet.
- 27:50Speaker 3: It was very sweet just the entire day. I mean,
- 27:54Speaker 3: I remember flying to Baltimore and us. I knew that
- 27:58Speaker 3: she was going in for her a point meant to see
- 28:00Speaker 3: if she was pregnant. And I called her and she
- 28:03Speaker 3: was like, I'm telling you before I've even.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Told my mom.
- 28:07Speaker 1: We just left and I was like, she was like,
- 28:10Speaker 1: we're pregnant. And I told her.
- 28:13Speaker 3: I remember having so many conversations with her and she
- 28:16Speaker 3: would just be so sad.
- 28:19Speaker 1: And I this because I know Barton m lessons. It
- 28:23Speaker 1: may come off bad, but like when she was going
- 28:26Speaker 1: through these things, I never thought of it because I
- 28:29Speaker 1: knew what was going to happen, Like there wasn't when
- 28:31Speaker 1: she was like we're going through this, I was like,
- 28:32Speaker 1: she's getting pregnant. Like I never had a thought of
- 28:34Speaker 1: like this or that, like what if? What if? And
- 28:37Speaker 1: like I've never even thought about it because I just
- 28:40Speaker 1: knew that it was going to happen.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I looked at her.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Because Osha was losing her mind at dinner one night
- 28:44Speaker 3: the night before we left, we went to their house
- 28:46Speaker 3: and she was losing her mind, and I was like,
- 28:48Speaker 3: are you so excited to have a baby and a
- 28:51Speaker 3: birga baby?
- 28:52Speaker 1: Take a look. No, but I will say that right
- 28:56Speaker 1: there was like the best birthday gift for me of
- 28:59Speaker 1: like seeing somebody get like that.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Yeah, and the with what you said, like you had
- 29:06Speaker 3: this when she would be upset about it, and obviously
- 29:10Speaker 3: we're not her, but I would say to her, your
- 29:14Speaker 3: time is going to come, and you're going to remember
- 29:17Speaker 3: every time you tried and it failed, and when your
- 29:22Speaker 3: baby arrives, you're gonna remember all of that and how
- 29:24Speaker 3: hard you tried to get this baby here. And you
- 29:28Speaker 3: know when she said she was pregnant and she's still
- 29:32Speaker 3: you know, she gets nervous, which is normal, Like even
- 29:35Speaker 3: a woman who hasn't had a struggle getting pregnant, you
- 29:38Speaker 3: do worry. And I've told her this is your time, baby,
- 29:42Speaker 3: like this baby is coming. It's normal to feel nervous.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I love that she has been sick. I'm like, yes,
- 29:50Speaker 3: every time you tell me that you're sick, I mean,
- 29:52Speaker 3: yet this baby, I'm exhausted, I'm nausey, and I'm.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Like, yese, get this baby growing.
- 30:00Speaker 3: And I'm like I all normal feelings. I don't want
- 30:03Speaker 3: to take that from you. You're allowed to feel those things,
- 30:05Speaker 3: but just know it is your time. And Chris Medina,
- 30:11Speaker 3: because when she was struggling, we were still in the apartment.
- 30:13Speaker 3: I said, I want you to see Chris Medina. He
- 30:16Speaker 3: told her. I think he said June. He said, don't
- 30:19Speaker 3: fixate on it. I don't know what it means, but
- 30:21Speaker 3: it is a day of significance for you, or a
- 30:25Speaker 3: month of significance. I don't know when. I can't tell
- 30:27Speaker 3: you a year, I can't tell you what is going
- 30:30Speaker 3: to be promised, but just know June. I'm seeing June
- 30:33Speaker 3: as a time. And that was the first doctor's appointment
- 30:37Speaker 3: that she went to to get this little baby here.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Yeah, because I don't know if you guys can tell,
- 30:42Speaker 1: but like we're kind of like a village family. One
- 30:46Speaker 1: person has a baby. It's our child, yes, yes, yes,
- 30:49Speaker 1: communal baby. Ye family here in the communal So yeah,
- 30:54Speaker 1: I know it's our child too. I was like, here's
- 30:58Speaker 1: my baby. I have fun. I know. I can't wait
- 31:01Speaker 1: to go to his like sporting events and stuff too.
- 31:03Speaker 3: You know, I know it's gonna be so great, a
- 31:05Speaker 3: good one. The reason why it's triggering for me is
- 31:08Speaker 3: going to Utah is I feel like it's a different lifetime.
- 31:11Speaker 3: When I lived there. You guys, we had our house
- 31:15Speaker 3: in Pair Blossom Circle.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Nothing's changed there, by the way, So it feels like
- 31:18Speaker 1: you're going back into what's that one show with uh,
- 31:24Speaker 1: the Something show, The Truman Show. That's what it's like
- 31:27Speaker 1: going to Utah for me.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I haven't seen that movie in so long.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Oh, you need to watch it. It's a reality TV
- 31:34Speaker 1: show pretty much based on Truman. Oh okay, his whole life. Wow.
- 31:38Speaker 1: And he's in a dome. Oh it's yeah. That's how
- 31:42Speaker 1: Utah feels for me, like a vortex a dome. Everybody's
- 31:45Speaker 1: in there like nothing has changed.
- 31:46Speaker 3: In the past.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it does.
- 31:49Speaker 3: There are things that I drive past, like in downtown
- 31:53Speaker 3: Slig where I'm like, oh my gosh, this is new,
- 31:55Speaker 3: and this city.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Is beautiful, you guys, it's really pretty. It is so clean.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I actually really really love it there.
- 32:02Speaker 3: The problem is is it represent well actually know there
- 32:05Speaker 3: is a lot of traffic, it's grown significantly, but it
- 32:11Speaker 3: just represents a time in my life where I lived
- 32:14Speaker 3: in this house when my mom and dad were both
- 32:19Speaker 3: alive and well, where Easton was in high school or
- 32:23Speaker 3: had just graduated, you were a few years out. And
- 32:27Speaker 3: then I moved to LA and it felt like home
- 32:30Speaker 3: going back there because it was roots and grounded. And
- 32:33Speaker 3: then once my dad died, everything changed. My mom sold
- 32:36Speaker 3: the house Easton and my mom bought a new house
- 32:39Speaker 3: to live in, and then I would go to that
- 32:40Speaker 3: house and I'm like, this is so weird that this
- 32:42Speaker 3: is my mom's house.
- 32:45Speaker 2: And I liked the house, but it just it doesn't
- 32:48Speaker 2: feel normal.
- 32:49Speaker 3: It didn't feel normal, and a lot of I had
- 32:51Speaker 3: this conversation the other day with people who had come
- 32:54Speaker 3: to LA and they're like, I don't really know where
- 32:56Speaker 3: home is because my mom and dad sold our childhood home,
- 32:59Speaker 3: but like I don't feel rooted here, and going back
- 33:02Speaker 3: to Utah, it's like, Wow, I finally feel that I
- 33:06Speaker 3: am rooted on my own terms. In La, it feels
- 33:10Speaker 3: like home. I have created my life there, and when
- 33:12Speaker 3: I come back here, there's just something that feels a
- 33:15Speaker 3: little bit off. Not saying that I don't enjoy seeing
- 33:19Speaker 3: all of my life, no you're my loved ones. But
- 33:22Speaker 3: there's something about the city that feels suffocating, like I
- 33:25Speaker 3: got to get out of here.
- 33:27Speaker 1: I don't know how to. Here's the thing, Utah is
- 33:30Speaker 1: like a tech Utah is very techy, very smart, very
- 33:33Speaker 1: book very that I'm a creative and I feel like
- 33:37Speaker 1: you are too, and being creative in Utah, I feel
- 33:40Speaker 1: like there's a dead end. And I also don't know
- 33:43Speaker 1: if it's because me living there, losing my dad and
- 33:45Speaker 1: all of this where I feel like, and it's not
- 33:48Speaker 1: like I've outgrown Utah, but it's I've outgrown the person
- 33:51Speaker 1: I was in Utah. Oh that makes sense. I like Utah.
- 33:54Speaker 1: I feel like I'm stuck because I'm that same person. Yeah.
- 33:58Speaker 1: And when I'm there and there's no outlet because it's
- 34:02Speaker 1: I'm just like I said, it's I feel creative. And
- 34:05Speaker 1: when I'm in LA or New York or places like that,
- 34:09Speaker 1: you feel like there's opportunity. Yeah, you feel in Utah,
- 34:12Speaker 1: you feel like kind of you did. And I think
- 34:17Speaker 1: it may be due to losing dad and all of that.
- 34:20Speaker 1: It represents a different lifetime for you too.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Then your mom leaving and coming out to live with me,
- 34:25Speaker 3: and then you're solo there and you're like, where is home?
- 34:27Speaker 1: Baby? So when you say I love going back, I
- 34:29Speaker 1: now know I love seeing the people there. I don't
- 34:33Speaker 1: know if I love going back anymore. It's really the
- 34:35Speaker 1: last three days I was waking up like out of sleep,
- 34:39Speaker 1: like I did on the plane, like I needed normalcy again,
- 34:41Speaker 1: Like what am I doing here? Too long? I felt
- 34:43Speaker 1: like I was in just like a box and I
- 34:47Speaker 1: couldn't get out. Yeah, and it's who I was there
- 34:50Speaker 1: that I have to leave that place because of who
- 34:53Speaker 1: I was there.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Yeah, and I that resonates with me a lot, and
- 34:57Speaker 3: you know, I was We went to this place called
- 35:00Speaker 3: Moont Bakery, which is so good, you guys. It's off
- 35:02Speaker 3: of Wastage Boulevard, but it was It's right, that's the
- 35:06Speaker 3: area that I grew up in. So I drove Ocean
- 35:09Speaker 3: past our old house and like, the neighborhood looks exactly
- 35:12Speaker 3: the same. The only thing different about our house is
- 35:16Speaker 3: that there's a ring camera.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, they haven't painted it, no garages, they haven't
- 35:20Speaker 1: even thrown up decorations.
- 35:22Speaker 3: But I looked at it and I was like, I
- 35:23Speaker 3: this is where mommy grew up. And we just did
- 35:26Speaker 3: like a very quick drive by, and I just could
- 35:28Speaker 3: not exit anything like christ Bench any quicker. The one
- 35:44Speaker 3: thing that I did do that I was really into
- 35:46Speaker 3: you guys. So I'm like, I really need to get lasered.
- 35:50Speaker 3: And I'm in Utah for like a long time. So
- 35:53Speaker 3: I text or I DM Heather Gay. I was like, hey,
- 35:57Speaker 3: which was such a dumb question. It's beauty lab and
- 36:00Speaker 3: laser and I said, my damn, or I go, do you.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Guys do laser hair removal?
- 36:04Speaker 1: She's like, uh yeh.
- 36:07Speaker 3: I was like, I need my I want my armpits done,
- 36:10Speaker 3: my legs and my bits.
- 36:13Speaker 1: And she had someone contact me. We planned.
- 36:16Speaker 3: I went in uh Monday, the day before we came
- 36:20Speaker 3: back to LA. When I tell you, because I grew
- 36:25Speaker 3: up working out at the sports mall, right, the sports
- 36:28Speaker 3: Mall Sports the sports Mall.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Beauty Lab is right across the street from that. I
- 36:33Speaker 1: drive in.
- 36:34Speaker 3: I was like, holy shit, this is the exact place,
- 36:37Speaker 3: because you know she opened a second location in Riverton.
- 36:40Speaker 3: The one I went to was in Murray.
- 36:42Speaker 1: I'm like, this is where jen Shaw was almost arrested. Yes,
- 36:49Speaker 1: that exact location hold up, And.
- 36:52Speaker 3: I didn't want to be like a weird this is where,
- 36:56Speaker 3: so we go in.
- 36:59Speaker 2: It's freaking one.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Everyone is so kind, it's beautiful, such a vibe. I'm
- 37:06Speaker 3: so like, I'm thinking of Heather Gain and I'm like,
- 37:08Speaker 3: what a bad bitch that this is like her business?
- 37:10Speaker 2: Right, And keep in mind you guys. They told me,
- 37:13Speaker 2: they were like, hey.
- 37:14Speaker 1: You're gonna be with Dallas. He's great, and I'm like,
- 37:17Speaker 1: oh fuck, it's like George Constanza getting a massage from
- 37:21Speaker 1: a man. And I'm fine with it. I'm like, all right,
- 37:26Speaker 1: he sounds great. Whatever.
- 37:28Speaker 2: It's like having a baby.
- 37:30Speaker 3: He delivered my baby, right, so I can deal with
- 37:33Speaker 3: a heat down there doing things that are productive. So
- 37:38Speaker 3: this guy, he's like so yoked up at the front
- 37:41Speaker 3: door and he's.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Like, hey, he's the guy that's gonna laser me.
- 37:45Speaker 3: And I'm like, oh no, not because I don't want
- 37:48Speaker 3: him down there, Like that's totally fine.
- 37:50Speaker 2: But I was like, oh fuck, oh fuck.
- 37:52Speaker 1: I wish I shaved Grand said.
- 37:53Speaker 3: It was not him, because I know the guy that
- 37:55Speaker 3: I'm seeing, his name is Dallas. Dallas comes out. He
- 37:59Speaker 3: couldn't be any cuter, any sweeter. I feel so comfortable
- 38:03Speaker 3: with him.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Easton.
- 38:05Speaker 3: I'm sorry the audience or our listeners are going to think,
- 38:09Speaker 3: you guys. He was just zapping those legs, zap in
- 38:12Speaker 3: those armpits. He was so sweet, and then it was
- 38:14Speaker 3: time to get like real acquainted with each other. I
- 38:17Speaker 3: was like having a hold on my butch. Sorry Easton,
- 38:21Speaker 3: I'm sorry, but he was so he just made you
- 38:24Speaker 3: feel so comfortable and I just adored the entire experience.
- 38:30Speaker 1: And what was his name?
- 38:32Speaker 2: Dallas?
- 38:32Speaker 1: Okay, so Dallas who you walked into was not Dallas
- 38:35Speaker 1: and you thought he no, but.
- 38:37Speaker 3: He he was there standing and it was time for
- 38:38Speaker 3: my appointments on my hair in Dallas. But that guy
- 38:42Speaker 3: actually did injectables at Beauty Life, And as much as
- 38:48Speaker 3: I would have loved him to laser me, I was
- 38:50Speaker 3: very thrilled I got Dallas. By the way, laser is
- 38:54Speaker 3: so worth it. I don't care who you give me,
- 38:55Speaker 3: just get it done. So I highly recommend if you're
- 38:58Speaker 3: in Utah, they have the Riverton location, Anne Murray. After
- 39:02Speaker 3: I left, I was like, you know, I could come
- 39:03Speaker 3: back to Utah strictly to get lasered.
- 39:07Speaker 1: It's a good reason to go back at me Ens
- 39:10Speaker 1: and Brandon. So I'm popping over my laser appointment would
- 39:14Speaker 1: love to see you guys if you want to meet
- 39:15Speaker 1: a beauty lab. No.
- 39:17Speaker 2: I loved it.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Like I said, I love going back to Utah. I
- 39:22Speaker 1: now found out that I do have a out. After
- 39:26Speaker 1: four or five days, I told mom.
- 39:29Speaker 3: I was like, just so you know, girl, I if
- 39:31Speaker 3: you want to stay until Monday, I'm popping in Friday night.
- 39:33Speaker 3: You want to stay until Sunday, I'll go is Thursday night.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Stay, I'd fly in Wednesday night, have Thursday, Friday, Saturday,
- 39:41Speaker 1: fly home Sunday night.
- 39:43Speaker 3: The last thing that I want to ask you, do
- 39:45Speaker 3: you ever go to Swig when you're out there? Swig
- 39:47Speaker 3: had just started a Swig had popped off after I.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Left, let me tell you and made it a big
- 39:52Speaker 1: almost went to Swig and I will say they have another.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Do you remember where the old Shivers is?
- 39:59Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 39:59Speaker 1: What is that one called thirst? There's a whole bunch
- 40:02Speaker 1: out there that are like Swig.
- 40:03Speaker 3: And by the way, you there is a line as
- 40:06Speaker 3: if it's a freaking star bus.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I'm telling you because you got to remember the Mormons
- 40:10Speaker 1: can't drink coffee, no, so they go there that is
- 40:13Speaker 1: there because no caffeine?
- 40:17Speaker 2: How does that make any sense?
- 40:18Speaker 1: Riddle me? That Ricky. So I did try to go,
- 40:21Speaker 1: but every time I looked into the line there were
- 40:24Speaker 1: about twenty five cars. So no, I did not get
- 40:27Speaker 1: a swig. But what I would have gotten is root
- 40:30Speaker 1: beer with cream and coconut. That's what I usually get,
- 40:36Speaker 1: and it is really good. But I can't. It's not
- 40:39Speaker 1: good enough to wait in a line, not.
- 40:41Speaker 3: At all, especially when I can go and I can
- 40:44Speaker 3: go to Harmon's Yeah and grab it and grab a
- 40:46Speaker 3: diet coke and some coffee. Mate, my favorite is a
- 40:50Speaker 3: diet coke with a little vanilla creamer and a line.
- 40:56Speaker 3: And there was a point in time where I was
- 40:57Speaker 3: consuming so many that it became a real big problem.
- 41:00Speaker 2: And I have not had.
- 41:01Speaker 1: One in Yeah. But I tried to go to Swig
- 41:04Speaker 1: I did.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Okay, I don't think you're missing out. You could. You
- 41:07Speaker 2: can create it right here.
- 41:09Speaker 1: No, I'm not missing out.
- 41:10Speaker 2: No, you're fine.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Experience of the big Swig cup, I guess.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Let me tell you what I was most bummed about
- 41:16Speaker 3: not going to Moocchiese Mood Cheese is known for their
- 41:19Speaker 3: meatball sandwich. I don't get the meatball, I get a
- 41:22Speaker 3: different one. But Guy Fieri went there years ago, and
- 41:24Speaker 3: like put them on the map. When I tell you,
- 41:26Speaker 3: me and my friend used to go every day like
- 41:28Speaker 3: disgusting giant sandwiches. Yeah, I never got to get good.
- 41:34Speaker 3: They've got like a like a rubin too.
- 41:36Speaker 1: I feel like that's what they're famous for.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Those you wanted to take me, I did go to selling.
- 41:43Speaker 1: You could have taken yourself.
- 41:47Speaker 2: A lot of work, A lot of work for you, guys.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Thank you for listening to another episode of Untraditionally Lala.
- 41:54Speaker 3: This was an amazing episode. I'm so happy that you
- 41:57Speaker 3: guys got to hear about our little untraditional life and
- 42:00Speaker 3: getting to Utah and old man hitting on your girl.
- 42:05Speaker 3: I hope you enjoyed it. I have the best rest
- 42:08Speaker 3: of the week. Happy hump Day. I'll catch you next
- 42:10Speaker 3: week and on Monday for the bonus
