- 0:56[SPEAKER_02]: that's making everybody else guess a punchline today.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I guess a joke today.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, the punchline is orange you glad I didn't say a banana.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 1:09[SPEAKER_02]: Do you not know that I'm being, I'm being silly.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_02]: Do you not know this joke?
- 1:13[SPEAKER_02]: I do know this joke.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, you made, I got excited because I thought there was a legitimate one coming.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_02]: No, it made it so easy.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_02]: It was like, well, this is no literally, literally never would I.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_04]: This is not fun.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_04]: This is the worst game that I am as a participant.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I think I have a better chance getting a shot in an NBA basketball game than I do getting any of these rates.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, making a shot, is that what you're saying?
- 1:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_02]: Gotcha.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Carter, and because they're good at it.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, are you doing it?
- 1:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'm doing it.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_02]: That makes me really upset.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_02]: Why, hey, I do people will go to see ballet dancers.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_02]: That's great.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: Take that.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_04]: Because they're good at it.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_04]: Stupid Timothy Shows.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_02]: But what I understand, nobody goes.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_02]: It's mugged here.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: They're good at it.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: That's just me.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I'm team Timmy on that when he's right.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_02]: No, but everybody that went up in arms about that has never been to a ballet in my heart.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_02]: They're all like, how dare you say that?
- 2:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, when is the last time that we'll do the ballet?
- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: Also, that's not even what he said.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I was kidding about that because they're good at it is the punchline because they're good at it.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_04]: Why did people go to space?
- 2:41[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, because they're good at it because they're good at it.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_02]: This was going to be good regardless.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: This is my favorite dad.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_02]: Joker I've ever heard and the joke is how come you can never find
- 2:55[SPEAKER_02]: Because they're good at it.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_02]: They're good at it.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_04]: There's a minty taste.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to make it actually impossible.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: But possibly funny, which is a new twist on this opening.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_02]: I think.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of funny.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: For a chance.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: There's a chance.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_02]: It could be.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: There's a chance it's funny.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_02]: It could be.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_02]: Can I describe to you the best week of my life?
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: Has it just happened?
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's just happened.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_02]: Do we get to, even know who the third host is?
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: I guess it's fine to people just assume at this point because it's a good one.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, forgot.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: The deep bear tone.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I don't, I don't have like a go-to, so I'll just say I'm gauge and today I'm drinking tea with honey in it.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I like knowing what you're drinking.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_04]: I always got a drink.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's great.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_04]: Is it cold?
- 3:50[SPEAKER_04]: Do I hear ice?
- 3:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I put, I made like a normal unsweetened put honey in it because, um, it's hot.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_02]: To, uh, speaking of somebody who you're right, Dron, saying for a living, I will say it is supposed to be hot, D. Yeah, I don't, I'm not singing today, so, um, I don't
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: Right, but I'm saying for your throat sake, it is supposed to be hot tea.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_02]: True, yeah.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'll drink tea.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: What do we know?
- 4:19[SPEAKER_02]: One of you know, really.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: Can I describe for you the best week of my life?
- 4:22[SPEAKER_02]: Tell me this.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's, I think it's worth talking about because it's magical.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, it's, it's snowed earlier this week, that's part of it.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_02]: It's snowed here in Denver earlier this week.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: And like, it was also snowed there when it's snowed, which is awesome.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, like snowed snowed.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_02]: And my heat was out, so it got freezing cold in my house.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: And then yesterday it was 82, and my AC'd also doesn't work right now.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_02]: So we were hot.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: And even with these problems, best week of my life.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_02]: Tell me things.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_02]: There was a time in my life when I was like 16, 17, just got a driver's license that if I was in my car, unless it was raining or like 12 degrees, my windows were now.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_02]: Somewhere along the way, I lost the zest.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_02]: for the windows being down.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_02]: I got too sweaty everywhere I drove.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_02]: I had to look presentable when I got places the weather wasn't conducive to windows down driving.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, somewhere along the way, the magic left.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I have rediscovered the joy of driving with the windows down here where the mornings are in the fifties and most of the time the evenings are dipping down into the sixties.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: And I haven't driven with my windows up
- 5:33[SPEAKER_02]: a week.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_02]: Let me tell you the other fun part about driving with your windows down.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's when you go back and you're like, let me listen to that all-time low song from 2011.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_02]: Let me see if that's the song.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, guess what?
- 5:41[SPEAKER_02]: It does.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever song you're thinking of, if you're like, oh, what was that old newfound glory bit that came out in 2009 still hits?
- 5:49[SPEAKER_02]: Every time all of them do, every single one, windows down, music's better.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'll tell you that.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_02]: The other thing, I discovered a bagel shop, one
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: from my home.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_02]: And they try to block drive.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: Drive.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_02]: So you can walk there and yeah, I can walk there.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, probably 25, 30 minutes.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: But it is, it's delicious.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_02]: Their bagels are so good, they're fresh made.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_02]: And so this week, I bought,
- 6:19[SPEAKER_02]: Half a dozen bagels, two, three each for me in Cali, frozen in just every morning, toasted a bagel, fresh cream cheese, enjoyed that delicious.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_02]: I got an Ossiago bagel and some jalapeno cream cheese.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_04]: Come on, bagel, come on.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_04]: And I love Vim.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_04]: The windows down.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_04]: I too was a teenager.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's nice, right?
- 6:40[SPEAKER_04]: The windows down and then lost that somewhere.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it goes away, but I'm here to tell you, you can reclaim that feeling, and it's just as good as it was before.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_04]: It's like a modern token take, like somewhere along the progression of life you'd lose your soul.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but you can reclaim it.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's there waiting for you.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_02]: It's been following you this whole time.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you gotta do this turn around and say, hey, buddy, come along with me.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_02]: And then on Friday, it was 62 degrees.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_02]: Sun high in the sky and I did make myself you know fever tree tonics little glass bottles of like the tonic waters and things like that have they have a you don't know this they do like ginger beer and all these different like mixins for cocktails and like small glass bottles mixins for the fixins they have a Mexican lime and Japanese yuzu tonic water what is happening man this isn't credible
- 7:35[SPEAKER_02]: poured that over some tequila with a little bit of ice and sat outside on my back deck in the beautiful 62 degree weather.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_02]: And I just, it's every day is coming up Jordan.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: It won't stop.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: I love this, man.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: There's something to be said about a change of scenery, too.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_02]: Like if this was happening, if you had all of this,
- 7:55[SPEAKER_02]: in Rockwell, Texas would have feel the same right?
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: Probably.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, there's something else to do with it.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, I'm first in this way.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_04]: First of all, I literally would not feel the same.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's the first 30, I'm saying like, though if the exam, giving him the exact same conditions.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, no, it just wouldn't hit the same.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: It wouldn't hit the same thing.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: See other expressions, new.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_04]: The other thing about the outside windows down situation is that there's not that many bugs in Colorado.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_04]: Or really, it's not very many bugs.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_04]: Or at least like bothersome bugs.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_04]: No mosquitoes.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_04]: Roaches, yeah, that's crazy.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_02]: This is a, this is a bug apocalypse this year.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's unbelievable Chelsea and I, really?
- 8:36[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, there's just random, like, slaps on the wall or the counter or big claps.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_02]: And it's always one of us getting another one.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_02]: And then having the funny, like, big laugh about, like, how juicy one of those mosquitoes was.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: Or like, where there's a little fruit find that bloody it was.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah,
- 8:59[SPEAKER_04]: I've got to find.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to miss them on a few years ago.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_04]: I bought a salt gun around the house.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_04]: And that's been a great investment.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_04]: A killing bugs.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_02]: A salt.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_04]: So, a salt gun.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_04]: I bought an assault rifle for the bugs.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_02]: So do you have this?
- 9:19[SPEAKER_02]: So do you have this?
- 9:20[SPEAKER_02]: So do you have this?
- 9:20[SPEAKER_02]: So do you have this?
- 9:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, sodium chloride.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_04]: sodium chloride.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_04]: Good.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_04]: Fun.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_04]: You just put some kosher in there and it just sprays.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_02]: And with a little coach, that's what I always say.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_04]: Whenever there was a bug in the house, hit him with some season of your bugs.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_02]: Speaking of coach, man, still miss him on this season of Survivor, to be honest.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_02]: Good.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's great to see him out there in the jury.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_02]: Coach, I've been laughing too soon.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_02]: Put a little bit to see all your cool fits.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: There was a book where I was the most recent episode where I was like, why does it look like Christy's going to prom?
- 9:56[SPEAKER_02]: Like, where does it feel like she always, unless not with this is a bow, right?
- 10:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's just poo poo in our people's fashion.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_04]: Well, trust us, but the other thing I've noticed on the jury is that D, like, plays up every single reaction.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_04]: She's always mouth-a-gaped.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_04]: Anything I like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, she does tend to, she does tend to kind of ramp things up in a way that I appreciate, you know, I want, I want the jury to be Yeah, I need that.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_02]: Have that big reaction.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, I need that big time.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I do have something prepared for us today, but I'm just wondering if Carter has anything prepared for us today as well.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't have anything prepared.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_02]: I was, you know, normally I would be looking for something, but I was lost in your beautiful story.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_02]: Just being here.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, that's really great.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much for us.
- 10:47[UNKNOWN]: We-
- 10:47[SPEAKER_02]: Well, uh, I've been invaded.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_02]: My home has been invaded by Timothy Allen.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's time for some, yeah.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_02]: Two chunks in a hungry presence.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_02]: Tim Allen presents home improvement presents wild hogs.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, do you have plays with this one, right?
- 11:02[SPEAKER_02]: Have you played this one?
- 11:03[SPEAKER_04]: Last week, yeah.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you've done it one time.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't hear for it.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_02]: And, uh, first up, first things first, I do need the two of you to describe for me.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_02]: And I have no, I have no, there's no page with a bio, there's nothing.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_02]: This is, in fact, a screenshot, I believe, a thumbnail from a YouTube video.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: Can you tell me about Ozzy, the hedgehog?
- 11:34[SPEAKER_02]: No relation.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_02]: I do want to be so clear.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_02]: No relation.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_02]: Ozzy is blonde, meaning like it's going to be like a yellow hedgehog.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm going, uh, I'm going to go red hog, um, headband sort of like, uh, No way, I was a nargo style either bandana or just something around the forehead.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, I'll give you bandana if I can have like skull cap or like a tight like bandana and and shades is what I'll say here too.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I think he has a skeleton T-shirt like Sid from Toy Story.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_04]: Sure.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_02]: There's something with his T-He's doing a toothy smile, but we either have like a gleam, like a ping from the smile, or there's like, there's some adornment here.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_02]: There's like a, he's got, got grill, little grill vibe here.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_02]: Two-jim, little tooth jim.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_04]: I think he probably has knuckles gloves, like artificial spikes on them.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, the spikes is good.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's dos sometimes who would say gloves.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_02]: And those does like to go for gloves.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_02]: But like shoes.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not gonna say in a salt rifle, but that would be funny that would be pretty funny.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: That would be pretty funny You know what I'm gonna say it.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna say in a salt rifle.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think I think it's crazy that way I think it was when you weren't here last week we discussed that I think gun gets guessed every round and it's been true once ever.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah sure
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: But when it's true, you know, you gotta just keep trying.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: It is pretty good.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_02]: And then I'm going to do my last one.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_02]: I know I'm stealing a lot from you.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: I hope I'm not taking away from your brainwaves because of our whole headband thing.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_02]: I'm starting to think we're feeling the same Aussie vibes.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's a last one.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_02]: Platform boots.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_04]: Ooh.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_04]: I have no clue about the shoes but I'm going to say he's wearing ripped jeans.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: So here's a quick update.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to say,
- 13:38[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna say zero points.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_02]: This is one of my favorite things.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_02]: This is one of my favorite things that it's such a energy killer.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_02]: You have your own little extra credit who mommy with this game.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's just deliberation, deliberation, deliberation, and then complimenting a subordinate.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's a, I could, I could be generous and say kind of a half point here, and I'm mine.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: But I do have a tiebreaker in mind.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_02]: Tell me, Aussie to Hedgehog is holding an accessory, okay?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_02]: And I believe both hands.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_02]: Seems like it's being held as a two handed accessory.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, of some kind.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not, I don't know that I wanna necessarily narrow down what kind of accessory it is, but it's being held with two hands.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_04]: Raise your hand, order.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_04]: Ooh, once again, on the same way.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_02]: Two flavors, both wrong.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_04]: On the attractive games in Carter, now I see one.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: For sure.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: I'd like to introduce the two of you.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_02]: Just hit it at a tie.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: We're just an absolute whiff, but at least the best part is we still get to see it.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: I'd like to introduce the two of you to Ozie, the headshot, come and straight to your phones.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_02]: Straight to our telephoral.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_02]: Straight to your telephones.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_02]: Aussie.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he's got a misshapen head.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_04]: The head shot.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm not really sure what's going on with that word.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: He is holding what appears to be a beam or laser or plasma sort of some kind and it looks like his head looks like they started to die so far and try corn hat.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_02]: Scarf.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: Scarf is the one.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_02]: There was a lot of headband and I was like, okay, headband band Dana Scarf.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I'll give half a point, but no, I just didn't feel right.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_04]: There's a lot of moon imagery in this for some reason.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's also partially why the bloodborne thing was coming to mind.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_02]: I need the two of you now to come to an agreement on the next hedgehog that we're going to find here in the hog space.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_02]: the name, the hog and that.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, who's the next ad track we're going to find.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, let's have it be our, uh, the centers of attention, perhaps for this most recent episode of Survivor Let's do a Surrey.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_02]: Have we done a Surrey before?
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think so.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see if we can engage.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_04]: Surrey's fine.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_02]: We've got a different spelling.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: We have, we have Cyrus, not, sorry.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_02]: We have Surrey spelled like the Witcher, which we might go with.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_02]: We have Sierra the Hedgehog.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_02]: We have Kira the Hedgehog.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just kind of given us a bunch of different, let's do, why don't we do Surrey the Hedgehog?
- 16:22[SPEAKER_02]: Can we make sure this isn't a fetish website?
- 16:26[SPEAKER_04]: We gotta check that for the wild hogs.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_02]: I just didn't recognize the name of this website and I don't, I still don't really know.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: I will have a bit for us after this, by the way, because you've inspired me a little bit to bring one back.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: We are going with a Suri, but a different spelling, is that what I'm hearing?
- 16:42[SPEAKER_02]: C-I-R-I.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, that's good to know.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_02]: Suri, in this sense, probably.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_02]: Talk to me about, we're gonna keep it, Ed Suri.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_02]: We'll say, talk to me about Suri, the hedgehog.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_04]: Green.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_04]: I'm thinking white, okay, maybe like a light gray.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_02]: Her eyes are closed, okay.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, in like, in pain or just like, I think it's a meditative.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's almost in preparation.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_04]: It's really beautiful.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just reading what I've pulled up on the screen.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I don't know how to describe it, too.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_04]: I think I think Siri is an astronaut.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_04]: Wow, so possibly in space could be.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: We've got big shoulders.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if it's because it's poorly drawn or it's creatively drawn or if we've got like shoulder pads.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_02]: Can I say one jacket that we're wearing?
- 17:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_02]: One of the best drawings we've ever had, probably.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like, might be a real ironic to me.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: No, genuinely one of the best drawings.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, shoot.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_02]: Well, if this is fan created, which it might not be based on how good it looks.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_02]: If this is fan created, Bravo.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I think she's holding a Roman candle or some sort of, that's incredible.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's just so out there.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like a wand?
- 18:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but you should do that.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: Like a magical accessory.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but a wand.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's not real though.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll point that out.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we're trying to go for realistic.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: This is pretty accurate.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_04]: Magic because there's not many of them.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_04]: It takes garlic.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I'm inspired by Ozzy, but I do think he had one.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: I think she does too is cape.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of a cape day.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, we're in a cape.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_04]: Um, she's going off the rails.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_04]: She's wearing vans.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_02]: Like a branded.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_04]: Branded.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, this is a sponsored, sonic incredible.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_02]: We do see mid-drift.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this one.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_04]: Belly button there, no.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_02]: No, Belly button.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, okay.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's how you can usually tell the difference between a hedgehog and a porcupine.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_02]: Mr.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: Belly button, I think.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_02]: And in some exciting news, I do think we're going to need a tiebreaker because it's zero, it's zero to zero.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, sure sure.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's zero to zero.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_02]: It's very interesting.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: There are several things that stand out about so read the hedgehog.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_02]: But one in particular sort of dominates the frame
- 19:27[SPEAKER_02]: Talk to me about Surrey's hair.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_02]: It looks like there's a level of super Saiyan that you can get that it's not just the straight up, but it's like the electric, but like a main almost.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_04]: You can.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_04]: That's gonna be a mine.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's well-camped.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_04]: I think maybe she has a bow or a headband or something that,
- 19:55[SPEAKER_02]: uh... keeps all that super sanitary energy under control okay i am going to give this one just barely squeaked it in there gonna give this one to gauge come on how extreme i was certainly was me
- 20:14[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to give this one to gauge specifically for headband.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'll say we had to be a little flexible on that, but that's okay.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: Come straight to your phones right now.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's three the hedgehogs.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, this is super cool.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: Whoa.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_02]: Big ol' ponytail.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: Look at her.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_02]: Eleven.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: There are other pictures of three the hedgehog where the cleavage is poppin.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: I decided to go with a little more taste.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's why you had to check the website.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_02]: I did have to check the website.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'd never heard of the website before and I thought, hmm, 50, 50 shot.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_02]: This is a fetish website.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: Still can't tell.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_02]: If I'm being honest with you.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_04]: What an interesting fetish.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_04]: That is so good.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's a very good.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's a very good hedgehog.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: That is a great hedgehog.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's a very good hedgehog.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_02]: And your three-to-headhog is pink.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_02]: Fingerless gloves with gyms on the back has probably proportionally her ponytail is about as thick as her entire body and about as long as her entire body probably is well.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_02]: Probably longer.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_02]: She's got some sort of, uh, I'm gonna call it like an eyedream of Jeannie bikini situation going on with, uh, some cheek defining, uh, chaps.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_02]: Well, what we agree that that's sort of the vibe going on.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's the vibe for sure.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_04]: It's interesting because it looks like she's wearing her swimsuit over her leggings.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_02]: I think she's wearing this room though the like jumpsuit thing over the swimsuit.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's the right way.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: What's she seeing it does remind me of a mortal com or a street character?
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: I can see that.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_02]: I will say and forgive me for saying so, but she has bedroom eyes.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_02]: This is not looking at symbols.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_04]: She doesn't sound too nice.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_04]: Everybody protect your simbo's cause.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, protect your simbo's cause.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_02]: Look at that, Chag is prowling these streets.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_02]: That is Tim Allen presents, two junks in a hunt presents.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_02]: Two junks in a hunt presents.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_02]: Home improvement presents, wild hogs.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's too good.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_02]: So, thank you.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_02]: Home improvement.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for playing.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_02]: we have on this podcast before played something that I found that was kind of like an auction type game, the actual props and different things that are online.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I have found what is finally, because sometimes with two chunks we've existed long enough that we've had these big ideas within there's either a name of something or a brand of something or a vibe of something that we're like, oh no, this fits.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel so proud that we have a vibe.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_02]: That we have a recognized group that two chunks of stuff with a brand we have a flavor.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think this will be the the the last place we ever go for the auction because it's too perfect.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to do the planet Hollywood vault.
- 22:49[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's very good.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_02]: Try an own a piece of Hollywood history from the legendary planet Hollywood collection.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so we're going to keep the same auction rules and I'm just going to start with a main page.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_02]: I think this is what we'll do.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_02]: We'll auction off two different things.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_02]: We'll start on the main page today and then I'm going to give you some of their categories and we will choose one of those categories that you can then buy your next.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_02]: We'll do a bit of shopping, you know, you get to decide for yourself rather than I just present it to you.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: But I do have one that I want to start with.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_02]: The way that this works gauge, if you haven't played this one with us, you might have heard it before.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_02]: We actually heads up.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_02]: We only have 18 days, 22 hours, 31 minutes and now, okay, so 30 minutes and 59 seconds to buy this.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_02]: We've got like a count we've got to go.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_02]: So we've got to go.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_02]: I will say that our first thing of for auction is something that I think I would legitimately
- 23:41[SPEAKER_02]: The way that this works gauge is it's going to be, we don't do prices right, rules.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_02]: One of you will guess first, and the other one will mute themselves so they don't have to play off of that, because that does tend to be like the prices right of it all too, of like just getting $1 more.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_02]: But I will tell y'all first what it's up for auction today in the Planet Hollywood Vault.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_02]: We have from 1990, the film Total Recall, one of the federal colony of Mars $50 bills.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, this one's really quads out there.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_02]: Crisp orange.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm really asking only of you the starting bit because we don't have any starting right here.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_02]: And so it's current starting bit.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_02]: This is not necessarily what it will sell for or what it has sold for.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_02]: So what they're asking right now is what they're asking for the recall federal colony of Mars prop bill.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_02]: Let me see if I can just copy the image and send that to you guys because I want you to do something here today.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_02]: I want to send this actually in our chat.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: to earwands.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_04]: Speaking of total recall, the only frame of reference I have for this is that I have occasionally shot for hot rod memorabilia one time because on two separate occasions I have discovered that they were selling the jumpsuit that rod wore and then the car that or the bike
- 25:05[SPEAKER_02]: And here's the thing, I don't think I really know how to copy and paste well on a Mac.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_02]: How crazy is that?
- 25:11[SPEAKER_02]: Right click and then copy.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm doing.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_02]: But it keeps giving the large monstrosity from image, image, and dungeons think.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_02]: When I was trying to be that ice wolf.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, sorry, spoiler alert.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_02]: If you say copy image, I think down at the bottom, is that not working for you?
- 25:29[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's not.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_02]: I click on that.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_02]: And it says, well, everybody, people can't figure it out.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, PayPal.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_04]: Do you think you could find the image from the movie of what it is?
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: Hmm.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna open the image itself in a new tab and then give you the link to that.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_02]: Let's see if that works.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_02]: It works.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_02]: It works to be only copying.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: Delante.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_02]: It works.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: What a copy and Delante.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_02]: to work.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there you go.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_02]: Perfect.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_02]: This is what we have.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_02]: And let's go ahead and mute Jordan first or you go ahead and mute yourself.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_02]: You just mute us.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_02]: My audio, so I don't hear.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_02]: So the shoes on here.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_02]: And gauge, that means you will be the first to guess how much do you think this cost?
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: Whoever gets closest actually, you go home with it.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_04]: Are they just selling one of these?
- 26:20[SPEAKER_02]: It's a, this is a singular, okay.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to guess $250, okay.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_02]: Jordan, you're free to come back.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, with $91 US-American dollars, okay?
- 26:39[SPEAKER_02]: Gage has returned.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_02]: Gage's guess was $250.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_02]: Jordan's guess was 91 Jordan congratulations.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_02]: The opening bid for this total
- 26:49[SPEAKER_02]: Federal colony of Mars prop $50 bill is $100.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_02]: With Intin is pretty not bad, pretty amazing.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_02]: So here are some of our categories that you guys can choose from.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_02]: We have new by now items, monthly themed auction.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_02]: auction with a buy now option within costumes we have all costumes will just do that because there's like masks and appliances but we'll say costumes and then within props you can just do all props.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_02]: There's also celebrity items and unknown treasures.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_02]: Is there anything that stands up to y'all for our next auction?
- 27:32[SPEAKER_02]: I like celebrity items.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: I will be doing from diff default pal.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_04]: Shh.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, what on earth would unknown treasure speed?
- 27:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's this prop.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: You guys have never seen it before, but you're gonna love it.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this is great.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_04]: You think the Smithsonian is selling like, we found this, it's like a relic in one of the pyramids, but we have no clue what to do with it, who wants it.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_04]: Or they're trying to petal a curse.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_02]: It's okay.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_02]: I think I think this was something.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_02]: I gotta get rid of this, Jim.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_02]: Here's what we have.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_02]: Jordan, you'll be the first to guess.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_02]: But over here in our celebrity items, I have a planet Hollywood t-shirt.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_02]: Autographed by Woopy Goldberg.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think this is really, I can send this to you.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_02]: No, I got it, I think I got it.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_02]: I think you got an idea here, let me see anything that stands out, includes the plan of how it would certificate about the authenticity.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: As all of them do, it shows the photo of
- 28:45[SPEAKER_02]: of her.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so the back of this actually is like a sketch, like a child like sketch if would be goberg as well.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, but she has signed it.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_04]: Please send me the link for this time.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_04]: I'm so curious when you say childlike.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_02]: And then now I do.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_02]: Gage, you know how they'll have rookies do the logo of the team.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: They got drafted by.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's what this feels like.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_04]: Who drew this, did will be Goldberg drivers?
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: Also, is this the same image as your last name?
- 29:17[SPEAKER_02]: You just, you just, you just, so what is it, dude?
- 29:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand this.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: You just sent the 50 dollar bill again.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_04]: It's a waste for you, Matt.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_02]: I am an old man.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_02]: You are an old man.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'm having a daughter in June.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_02]: And I think maybe by the year 2028 she'll be better at technology than I am.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_02]: Sounds right.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_02]: That's, that's the way to go break.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, it's actually kind of sick, yeah, it is.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_02]: But the front is the plan of Hollywood logo, right?
- 29:50[SPEAKER_02]: Right, with her actual, actual signature on it.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's true on that.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: So, okay, Gage, if you'll take off your headphones, Jordan will have the first go at this.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_02]: Has that sound crazy?
- 30:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, 350 dollars.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_02]: Gage?
- 30:07[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, man, I have no frame reference for this.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna go, that's the game.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna go, oh, how much do people like Wifpy Goldberg?
- 30:15[SPEAKER_04]: Let's say, $100.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_02]: Gages guess was $100, Jordan.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_02]: If I remember correctly, yours was $350.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_02]: $350.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_02]: This one goes to gauge for only $50.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_02]: What, dude, buy that shirt?
- 30:32[SPEAKER_02]: If I saw this in a thrift store,
- 30:36[SPEAKER_02]: without the signature.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_02]: I think I would consider somewhere near this price.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's so interesting.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: 100%.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I don't think we'll have to back.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_02]: Completely changed it.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_02]: Because playing at Hollywood is just funny.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 30:46[SPEAKER_02]: But, I mean, I'm just...
- 30:49[SPEAKER_02]: Plenty of highwood vault, check it out.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_02]: You know, maybe they'll spawn there.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_02]: The back took it from the back took it from shirt that I would frame to shirt that I would be like, I'm just gonna wear it.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_02]: I know she signed it, but I'm just gonna wear this shirt.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, where are you?
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: You don't work sign it?
- 31:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, actually, she did.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, for 50 bucks, that's pretty dope.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_02]: Buy this.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll be gold, very guys.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_02]: Pretty dope.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_02]: Might be perusing the vault later, myself.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_02]: But that is our Plenty of Highwood Vault.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: We will be back.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_02]: That was fun.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, beautiful.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for that.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_02]: And thank you.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_02]: Your listeners for sticking around through shout-and-ouncements, which starts.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_03]: Hello?
- 31:36[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, hey.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, man?
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, just doing some shout-and-ouncements.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_02]: What are you?
- 31:40[SPEAKER_02]: That's interesting.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think it would be shout-and-ouncements.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_02]: Is that how you say how we get into shout-and-ouncements?
- 31:45[SPEAKER_02]: Most people are usually pretty shocked by shout-in-outs, but it's full of thrills.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's sort of the most exciting part of the show because you never really know what's going to happen or they're going to ask you to check out the Discord, which is available to anybody who wants to join, to go through our Patreon and check out conversations that we're having about books, movies, TV, media, the podcast, imagine Dungeons, all of the above and chat directly with us.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_02]: Could that be the thing that they talk about in shout-in-outs, and maybe sometimes we talk about... That's one trend that was impressive.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_02]: He used to sing, y'all.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_02]: He used to be a singer.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_02]: That would be great, y'all.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_02]: The other thing that we might talk about would be like a Magic Dungeons, it's our actual play the indie podcast where the three of us plus Doge and our discord access over there to Haley play Dungeons and Dragons together, gauges are at the end and it's pretty fun.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_02]: We just maybe recorded the finale for season two.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_02]: So I would tell you to check that out if that's what we were doing in shout-in-outs sense, but that's also not really what we're doing.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_02]: here in show announcements.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes we tell you to rate and review the pot.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: You know, go on Google, Apple, over whatever you listen to pot and Spotify, anything.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_02]: It just give us a rate and review to tell the world that you love the show, share it with your friends.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes we tell you to do that in show announcements, but we're not doing that today either.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_02]: So, today we're just doing it.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we're just sort of hanging.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_04]: You guys have lunch already or the house waiting for after the five I had lunch.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_02]: We had a chicken burger the avocado and that me so Caesar we're getting a lot of that me so Caesar trying to things These so Caesar when you say chicken burger do you mean a brownish style like again brown chicken burger.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
- 33:24[SPEAKER_04]: I'm doing a little tortillas soup after this, I'll throw in some of a cat of tortillas soup, man.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's raining here, Gage.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_02]: It might be raining where you are.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_02]: That's a good tortillas soup time.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_02]: That's just a good tortillas soup.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, shit.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_02]: I don't.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_02]: Usually eat weekend lunch.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know why.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_02]: I typically, on the weekend, tell you, breakfast.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: But I think it's because I sleep in a little bit.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: So like, instead of like, 75 breakfast, I'm having like 930 breakfast for sure.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_02]: So we're not to get the mills in the Willis house these days.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_02]: Just have a snack.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you know, get in there.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_02]: We're on a human, growing a human.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_02]: This will go back to the show.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: We can do it.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_02]: Be good.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_02]: Survivor, interesting, this week was cool because it's not often that you get to see what happens when the dumbest boy in all the land fulfills his fate of destiny written in the stars.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_02]: But today, we're going to get to talk about an episode where the stars truly wrote the future before there was a chance for anything different to happen.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_02]: And Aussie, the dumbest boy in school, showed up.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_02]: to the island, ready to play differently.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_02]: And then in the span of seemingly one afternoon, tanked his entire game, some spiked it directly into the sand.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_02]: Something happened.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_02]: And it was like, Greek mythology type.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_02]: Like, we learned lessons here.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: You know, kind of thing, it was like, I cannot believe this.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you could turn it into like a reality TV, any kind of completely reality TV show from now on being like somebody Aussie.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_02]: You know, big time dude, blue too close to the sun.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: They loved themselves too much.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: I don't really know what all it was, but he was so incredibly confident with so many complete unforced errors.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_02]: There's so many good reasons for it to happen.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_04]: I think when people say I don't want my loved ones letters, this is exactly why they don't, because it makes people soft and crazy.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and they get thrown off their game.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_04]: I think Aussie read his letter and you started thinking about
- 35:24[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to be on the jury.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_04]: Or I'm going to be in the final and need to do general management.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_02]: It was too, that's too much less by the way.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_02]: I also, I can't remember if we've talked about this on the pod.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_02]: I would, I would do everything in my power to be like, is it weird or considered like, is it a faux pod?
- 35:38[SPEAKER_02]: If I just don't read this.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think it would throw me off.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_02]: I feel the same way about loved ones, visits.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_02]: I like watching them.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: Would not want to see.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I mean, the zone, you know what I mean?
- 35:47[SPEAKER_02]: I would, I'm afraid it would break my spirit.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_04]: I've told Rachel that like, like, if I were to ever go on survivor and they did a loved ones visits, I would be so
- 35:59[SPEAKER_04]: said, if someone that like would actually like if Rachel showed up, I would feel sad.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_04]: Like I just want to go home.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to stay here.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_02]: Although I think if I could talk to Cali beforehand and be like, if you come out for a loved ones visit, well, you promised me that we will only talk game.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to hear about what's going on at home.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to hear it.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_02]: Will you help me strategize?
- 36:20[SPEAKER_02]: Will you let me bounce, if Cali would be good at that too, I think she'd be down with it.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_02]: And if that was the case, then I think I could deal with it.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_02]: As long as it was understood that I wasn't going to be emotional, I wasn't going to be sappy.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_02]: I was just going to go over and be like, OK, here's my position.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_02]: Here's what I'm working with.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think?
- 36:35[SPEAKER_04]: You know, yeah, I would probably invite you to see that sometimes.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_04]: Who thinks differently than me, who would just be like, I need help seeing another angle from where I am.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_04]: Since Rachel does not like this dress, it's you part of Surphatic Rare.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_04]: Did you get to fight your mom?
- 36:54[SPEAKER_04]: Your mom will be good at it.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, no, my mom would be like, what?
- 36:59[SPEAKER_04]: This alliance means nothing.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, cut them.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_04]: Are they going to pay you?
- 37:03[SPEAKER_04]: Throw them to the ocean.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_02]: You need somebody to talk to you like Surrey talks to everyone on the game.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I obviously I want to read it.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_02]: I want to read it.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know what I'm going to do.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_01]: I want to read it.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: I want to read yours too.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_02]: I would be like, you could send me his.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_02]: Your emotions are a power for you.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like sometimes mine throw me off my game, but I think you are very good at leveraging your emotions into strength in a way that I admire.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_02]: So I think you could do well with it.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I also think that's why your particular skills lend more towards like big brother or,
- 37:39[SPEAKER_04]: What's the traveling one?
- 37:43[SPEAKER_02]: Amazing race.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_04]: Amazing race, Carter.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_04]: I think you'd be great at amazing race.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I agree.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_02]: I said that.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_02]: If I had to pick a partner for amazing race, it would be Carter.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_02]: That's just huge.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_02]: Listen, this isn't about me.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's about how stupid Ozzy is.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_02]: I, it really does.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_02]: Everything about the strategy of the, he completely lost strategy.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_02]: Because what has happened is, is everything is a threat now.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_02]: You have split into fours.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_02]: And for some reason, he, I mean, it could have been a good thing for him, because he knows both he and Rizzo have these immunity idols and they have this power, but he chose to go to the person that he has the worst relationship with, which he did acknowledge, and then be like, you know, what's going to work for Aubrey, a four-time player, who is known to be when they're positive, sorry Joe, in like a survivor way, I'm going to tell her, sorry everything.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I can't even, I mean, I can follow the, what he thought he was doing, but the fact that he thought it is so stupid.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's been funny watching his exit press, where he's like, why did I tank my game?
- 38:45[SPEAKER_04]: He's like, oh, he's, he's acknowledging this.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_04]: He's like, I have no clue why I did that.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_04]: Like good, but okay, I'm glad he's at least like, he could have saved himself if he recognized the afterwards, but he left that conversation like,
- 39:01[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I gotta say, I think it's been really funny this week.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_02]: I tend to not go into survivor spaces online because there's nothing I dislike more than most survivor fans and their takes on chill.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_02]: Because I think that they're all wrong most of the time.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_02]: The couple times that I've ducked my head in just to see what the discourse is.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: The amount of people defending Ozzy, just because they love him so much, is pathetic.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_02]: If you love him, see him for the idiot that he is.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a huge Ozzy fan because I know he's stupid.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_02]: And not in real life, but in this, he's a dummy.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_02]: If you're saying riso made a huge mistake here, you are not seeing what's happening.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_02]: That was his best strategic move of the season.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_02]: He made a split second decision that he had to make.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_02]: And him saving Aussie takes his game.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_04]: Rizzo doesn't need to read in the same way that Aussie does.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_04]: Like if Rizzo is like, I don't want to work with you, Rizzo.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_04]: Rizzo is like, no, Rizzo is going to understand you.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, Rizzo has to say is this is what Aussie did.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_02]: And she's going to go that dumb dumb boy.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, let's keep going.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: But she smart.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_02]: She doesn't burn bridges ever.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_04]: I think this week is strangely locks Joe into the final.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_04]: Because everyone is looking at Joe like Joe is not getting one vote.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's fair.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's just not fair.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yeah, no.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_02]: This is not his game.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_02]: It seems like a great dude would love to sit on a back patio at like a barbecue and have a burger and a beer with the guy for sure.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_02]: Some baked beans on the side sounds great.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_02]: But listen, I'd love for him as my emergency contact, you know?
- 40:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, oh, for sure.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'd better be there.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_04]: I'd like to hang out with you.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_04]: Aussie does win the award.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_04]: As he does every time he shows up, his first time most won a hangout with.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_02]: No, Aussie's great.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_02]: Especially no, it doesn't be on a restaurant.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_04]: He owns a restaurant in Mexico City.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, get some free food.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_02]: Why not?
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder there's something so fascinating about the and it's something that we don't really get to empathize much.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_02]: with, and it's a blatant part of the game, but like going this long being malnourished, is like, it really feels like it reveals what is left.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like you could have a strategy with your full belly, but once we take away everything, like who are you?
- 41:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like when you're having the moments to yourself of the insomnia and of the discomfort, like what is left?
- 41:24[SPEAKER_02]: And I think for Ozzy, I think he got high.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: I think he,
- 41:29[SPEAKER_02]: had some spiritual high to where he didn't feel pain.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_02]: He couldn't acknowledge anything, and he just lost.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: It was numb.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: He did everything.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_02]: He did, and I can tell you how I know that he did because God talked to him in a dream and said, play that your idol just stopped and lowered.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_02]: The Christian God.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_02]: Came to Osirio to dream and said, play your idol, you big idiot.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_02]: And then he said, no, I'm not going to do it.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: He was like, I had a nightmare that this happened.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, dude, play it.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_04]: I saw a comment that said, coach, astral projected into Osirio.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_02]: The truth is probably.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_02]: I just think, in the new era, idols are good for two things.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: But what we've seen for the most part, is that idols have two purposes in new era survivor.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_02]: One is a sort of danger to dangle over everyone's head for as many possible weeks as you can.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_02]: And number two is to, without fail, play at any split tribal that you're holding an idol.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_02]: If you go to a split tribal, just play the idol.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_02]: You have it.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_02]: You would rather make it through the split tribal and be reunited with your allies than go home.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just, it was this mix of like hubris and also I don't think he's watched any new era survivor.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_02]: And so I think it, those two things came to a head because all the signs were there.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: And he just couldn't get past his visions of grandeur at the end.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, people, I mean, like, there's no sense in fantasizing about like, I'll use my idol when we have five people left because you're on a tribe with five people right now.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_04]: Use it.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_04]: And I do want to give credit to production here because the music that they put in for a lot of this episode was really good.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_04]: Like,
- 43:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they did like a call back to old school survivor during Aussie's elimination and I love it I love it when somebody gets voted out and they're not pretending that everything's okay Yes, thank you.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_04]: I for being gobbled that up what I hate more than anything is somebody getting voted out Especially if they get back standing like It's okay guys good luck Get out of here.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to speak.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: I can respect whenever somebody's like
- 43:50[SPEAKER_02]: Well done, good play, I hate you.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I can respect that.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_04]: But like the Kelly Nell bandian, I think that was season 44, where she's like, you have to be kidding me.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_04]: I'm all the hell guys, yeah.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's beautiful.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_02]: And I think, I think all reality TV, all competition reality TV could benefit from people carrying less about the sponsorships they might get after the show, and carrying a little more about making good TV and trying to win the game.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because I will say, like, I'm curious, and I am going to say when Devon gets voted out here.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, when he does, I'm really curious to see how he responds to the group.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I think it'll depend on it goes down if I'm being honest.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_04]: Because on one hand, he says like, I like it when survivors fun, but on the other hand, he can get really intense really quick.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think for him fun is pedal to the metal.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know that he necessarily means like light-hearted fun.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_02]: I think he means like survivors fun when we're playing as hard as possible.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_02]: Because he's always playing as hard as possible.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_02]: Might not be correct, but he's playing hard always.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_02]: I agree with that.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think there is something to be said for also casting people that aren't like 23.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_02]: I think when you cast people in their 40s and their 50s and their late 30s, I think you get people that are a little less worried about like, well, but people on Instagram, we're going to be mad at me if I, yes, and I think that's another problem that I see, you know, it bleeds into the challenge, you see, especially first time players, they're 24 years old and they come on and they're afraid to make any big moves because they're afraid that if they make Johnny bananas mad, then the next time they play, they'll get targeted immediately.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like, just play the game, which is like you more if you just play.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_04]: which is interesting because bananas would love that.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_04]: Bananas would love, like a rookie to come in and be hot.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_04]: Even if he plays it up on camera, like, yeah, of course, hit or whatever.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, speaking of though,
- 45:53[SPEAKER_04]: I imagine both of you probably didn't see this because you skipped through the ads.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_04]: And I typically would too, but I watched it live this week.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_04]: Did you see that Billie Eilish had an ad on Survivor this week?
- 46:04[SPEAKER_04]: I did.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_04]: She, it was like the first commercial break.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_04]: She says, hey Survivor fans, I have a new movie coming.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that hit me myself.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's so funny.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_04]: And she went on Good Hanks this week.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_04]: And just like briefly mentioned how she likes Survivor
- 46:22[SPEAKER_04]: but it is so funny that she is basically not acknowledged.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, her own, that thing is in particular, right?
- 46:32[SPEAKER_04]: That it's basically just like an ad for her concert movie.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, dude, speaking of the Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol, I mean, what's her face was right?
- 46:42[SPEAKER_04]: Genevieve, yeah.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_02]: Genevieve was right.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_02]: Aussie did go home with an idol in his pocket.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_02]: It was just too late to benefit her.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, which is something that you need to think about when you think about Ozzie in particular, that he's going to be there for a long time.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he probably will go home with that idle in this pocket, but it's not going to be for a minute.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_02]: For a while.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_04]: Ever played an idle correctly.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I doubt it.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_02]: I understand.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_02]: I understand clearly doubt it.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_02]: On that topic too, this was a moment that was like, when Ozzy and then Gage lost three points, I was like, hmm, and going to the gameplay of it all.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_02]: And Jordan, I'm looking at this too, and if there was one person for you to have left, this still have a shot.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_02]: I do, I do legitimately think that you have a chance.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Gage has a point on you if Surrey wins, just one point.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_02]: Both of you have quite a bit on me now after I've lost Aussie, I have to do that before the episode, and I have to kind of change my route here.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_02]: But devins of anybody would be the person to just play a shot in the dark.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_02]: And if you remember, you can get up to six points there and have very devins away.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_02]: And then he gets another one when he joins the jury.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_02]: So that's seven.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_02]: Riz, God, could go up the next episode with an idol in his pocket and gauge loses more points.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_02]: So
- 47:52[SPEAKER_02]: there's still some chances here.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say two gay to think and we could live in Jonathan Redtree mail.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_02]: I was just surprised he could read.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_02]: So that's one of the reasons it stands out to me.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_02]: So I I should have 31 points I think.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_02]: Oh John catch that if he read.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_02]: I was surprised he could read.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_02]: He's so mean and true.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_02]: He read Tree Mail and I'm going to change mine.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_02]: I cannot for the sake of the game and we're talking about it.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_02]: We all of this is because we stand a reality TV show that is about game play.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_02]: I cannot out I cannot out play y'all on or out with y'all I guess in the situation.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_02]: Or out last you excuse me.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry y'all at both have three so I can't.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_02]: I can't choose three so I'm going to move to Tiffany.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_02]: my week, my week 11 switch to win it all.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think she's got a real shot.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_02]: I do too.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_02]: And so that would be big for me.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_04]: I think the person who increased her odds the most this week is Aubrey.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_04]: 100 percent.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_04]: Aubrey has been forced to play survivor.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_04]: So she's she's here.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I ended up breaking even this week because of Aubrey absolutely chiming the hell out of the camera and Stink Panthering her way to another week and then Ozzie made jury.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_04]: So, broke even this week.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_04]: It's strange enough, I feel sad that Emily's gone.
- 49:26[SPEAKER_04]: Emily's been really entertaining this season.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_02]: I am sad that I don't get to watch Emily anymore.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_02]: I am thrilled that some of my faves are not at risk because of her.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_04]: Because of her being crazy.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I agree.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, who do we think is going home next week?
- 49:45[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think it's Joe at this point.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_02]: Devin, but Devin's has the idol for when there's seven left.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_04]: So he played it.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_04]: Devin already played it last week.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he did play it last week.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's why they voted for Emily.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's right, that's right.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_02]: He wouldn't have played it.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_02]: So then there's probably going to be another idol out, though.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_02]: And if it's classic Devin, he might find it.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_02]: Because Ozzy, actually, I don't know if the boom ring idol, if it doesn't go back to a person if it goes back into play.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_02]: We have not seen hardly anybody like find an idol.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_02]: Lidles are given this year, and that's kind of a silly thing to me.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_02]: I was talking with this dosion, I watched this live together, and we had a conversation about how it feels like survivor is doing, making moves.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_02]: that are good for TV, but not for survivor.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_02]: Does that make sense?
- 50:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I agree.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_02]: That's so much of the gimmicky things that we have, you know, and I think I'm going to talk to you guys about it too.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_02]: So what happens if people get attracted to this show because of all of the changes, like there's so many different things, right?
- 50:46[SPEAKER_02]: So say that we finally get somebody
- 50:48[SPEAKER_02]: to like survivor.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_02]: And it's because you never know it's going to happen.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_02]: There's a twist every week.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_02]: So we have the blood moon.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_02]: We have a split tribal.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_02]: We have, you know, all these different things.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_02]: Two people are going out this time.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, actually, you can get immunity with all the coconuts and all that stuff.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_02]: And so you attract people, but then if you go back to the normal survivor, which most survival survivor fans love,
- 51:10[SPEAKER_02]: do the people who got here because of how chaotic it was, do they not like that?
- 51:14[SPEAKER_02]: Does that make sense?
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: It's like what do you do right now?
- 51:17[SPEAKER_02]: Survivor has a history of changing some fundamental things like every 10 seasons.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's like pretty standard in Survivor.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_02]: We introduce idols.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_02]: We start to introduce in like the 20s is when we start to do a lot of like,
- 51:32[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_02]: A thematic bring back seasons and things like exile.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_02]: Island the 30s is when we start to do things like bringing in a former players as rewards for things.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_02]: There's like little changes here and there.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_02]: It does feel like a lot has changed in the past 10 seasons, but I anticipate the 50s will be different than the 40s in good and bad ways.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't think we're going to have it all as what I'm trying to say.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_02]: Like not all of these things will happen every season.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_02]: And so then it's like my dream is that they say season 51 of survival it's back to basics.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_02]: We've got idols.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_02]: We've got tribals.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_02]: We've got challenges.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_02]: Let's play the game.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_02]: That would be awesome.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_04]: The hard thing about a season like this is like I understand you can't make everybody happy.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I feel myself kind of confused at some of the consensus sometimes because like, I also don't like split tribal councils.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_04]: But when they bring back 24 people, what do we think is gonna happen?
- 52:33[SPEAKER_04]: Like, of course they're gonna do split tribal's.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_04]: So you can't have both.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think I'm worried that they're gonna learn the wrong lesson from this season and they're gonna go, people didn't like the season with all the returners.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_02]: That's why we don't do returners season.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, no.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_02]: The only reason people like this season at all is because of the returners.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not sure that they could even get that lesson because this season has had a pretty staggering viewership number, compared to most of the 40s seasons, rather than maybe 46.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_04]: And people I know who haven't watched Survivor in 10 years are watching this season.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_04]: So the reality is that like people on the internet are loud, but the majority of people watching Survivor are people who have cable.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_04]: So demographic is still carrying a lot.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's maybe think of the,
- 53:27[SPEAKER_02]: archive of competitive reality TV and there's some crossover with like certain movies, like because we've had conversations on two chunks about bad bad and bad good, like bad bad is like not memorable at all, but bad good is the blood sports of the world.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_02]: They're like, what did they think was going to happen?
- 53:45[SPEAKER_02]: It does not, it feels like there is a chance that season 50 can be coded as bad.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_02]: and probably not that's good.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's still a chance that it could just be like, it's not, it wasn't great.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I guess if Jonathan wins, I think I would never recommend anybody watching this.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_04]: If Aubrey wins, I expect a lot of people to be pretty upset.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_02]: But, so having a Surrey or even a Devon's or a Tiffany's.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_04]: But that's, I don't get Aubrey win would be cool.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_04]: I would be Aubrey win would be cool.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_04]: I would be happy for Aubrey to win.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_04]: I like Aubrey, but I don't think those people do.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I wouldn't even say I like Aubrey, but I like watching her play.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I will say that one thing that bothers me sometimes about different people's perception of survivor is it feels like they want the editors to tell us who the winner is.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_04]: And if they don't foreshadow it enough, people get really excited about that.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_04]: And I just disagree if the editors are telling me what's interesting.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's not good.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_04]: I shouldn't know in week two, like, oh, this person's getting a winner's edit.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_04]: That's not good for the show.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_02]: I got to end this episode of Two Chunks in a Hunk.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_02]: Here's what's going to happen.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to give our name.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_02]: And what are obvious, the obvious winner at it for our winning season of Survivor would be to let people know in episode two that were the one that's going to win the season.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_02]: What it would be?
- 55:09[SPEAKER_02]: Say that again.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_02]: You'll see what I mean.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_02]: For Two Chunks in a Hunk, I'm Jordan.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_02]: And the winner at it,
- 55:14[SPEAKER_02]: on the season that I win of Survivor, this is what would happen in episode two that would let people know that I'm gonna win.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_02]: As I'm rounding the corner towards the puzzle in the final challenge, I would catch my foot on the rope, the rope net that I had just had to crawl under, I would catch my foot and I would trip and fall and I would hurt my shoulder and Jeff would hold his hands up and he would go, do we need a medic and I would stand up and I would look dead into camera
- 55:44[SPEAKER_02]: Whenever I fall, I get back up stronger than ever before.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_02]: And then I would continue on to the puzzle and the music would play in the camera would pan up and we wouldn't even watch the rest of the puzzle.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_02]: The credits for the games don't just start to work.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_02]: This is like episodes two, this happens.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, episode two of my season.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_02]: I've never played before.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a returning player.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's my first time here.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_02]: Incredible.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Carter and I think episode two will be the first time that we get a Where they call it like an interview or a narration where they call the scenes where it's just you talking head.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we get the talking head and I'm leaning against a tree you know reclining in a way that would probably later become uncomfortable because of I'm all the all the creeks for the old sports injuries in my life, but
- 56:33[SPEAKER_02]: I would stay consistent, but they'll come a point towards like, you know what, I think I just want to be myself and I think most of my friends would know me to be as like an optimistic loving empathetic person because I think they can get me far.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_02]: And then I'll have a moment that I'll say and they might turn to some some animal that would represent a complete change.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe the lizard that when it croaks, it looks completely different.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_02]: My closest friends know that there is a part of me that can seem completely different.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if I'll get that far, but if I do, I'm willing to access that to win this game.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_02]: And then the inception, blah.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_02]: And then just the inception, blah.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_02]: And so the whole time, you were like, okay, it's like episode nine.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_02]: Is this what it happens?
- 57:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he made it this far as he about to.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_02]: And then it's just like, I just become,
- 57:27[SPEAKER_02]: Mike dream would be at the end of it.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_02]: People can't decide.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_02]: There's it's a 50, 50 polarizing.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_02]: If there was a villains and heroes again, where would Carter Willis fall?
- 57:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's good.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_02]: Because the way he ended this is some of the most cut-throat stuff I've ever seen in my life.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_02]: It was so nice all season, but then he pushed that dude in the fire.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how, like, how could he not have?
- 57:53[SPEAKER_02]: got in trouble with the law for something like this?
- 57:55[SPEAKER_02]: I guess when you sign a waiver, you know.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_02]: He just keeps saying there's no laws on Jeff's Island.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_02]: There's no laws on Jeff's Island over and over.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_02]: I don't get it.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't know that this is...
- 58:05[SPEAKER_02]: He's... What if he think was going to happen when he swallowed her idol?
- 58:11[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think was going to have seven days?
- 58:12[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, can't play it now, can't you?
- 58:14[SPEAKER_04]: He keeps telling the, he keeps telling what I do.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_02]: What I don't Jeff, I don't know what he's going to talk about.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm forcing Jeff to have a conversation with production, which he doesn't want to do that.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_02]: He wants it to be fresh at tribal.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, hey, sorry.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_02]: We got word that.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_02]: Someone ate an idol.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, put him a CD on him.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_04]: He keeps saying that if you make me get metivacked, I'm just going to think Hacunumatata.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_04]: And you're not going to be able to show it.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody ate an idol.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_02]: Nobody ate an idol.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_02]: Nobody ate an idol.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_04]: There are idols this season.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gauge.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_04]: And...
- 58:50[SPEAKER_04]: On episode two, the season that I win, I spent episode one not helping out at camp because I was carving wooden dice.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_04]: And on the season that I win, you see that I've made my tribe play a wooden D&D session and make characters, and I look at the camera and my talking head and say, all of them have just made themselves and they're explaining their entire game to me.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_04]: I know exactly what they're gonna do for the rest of the time we're here.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_02]: Amazing.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_02]: Gage looks straight down camera and says, I am as a god.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 59:22[SPEAKER_04]: Every single episode when somebody does something that I predict exactly, I look directly at camera and shrug.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_02]: I knew it.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_02]: I know it.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_04]: Amazing.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_02]: Every, you're not even on camera.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's just from a distance.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_04]: People are celebrating a real world challenge.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly as the dice predict is.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_02]: They've been like roll 20 heads of the world call you Island Master.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I like you just freaking.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_04]: By like episode 11, I've ditched my island close and made like a drew it outfit.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's really beautiful.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for sharing.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, thanks.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, man.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_02]: We're so good at Survivor.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_02]: We're so good at Survivor.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_02]: I can't even say it's a great champion.
