- Welcome back MyLearningSource vendors and customers. Today I wanted to show you something very special about MyLearningSource. Now we want to make sure that we connect everyone together in this part of homeschooling. Homeschooling or alternative schools, including microschools and charter schools, private schools, so forth. Even public school educators and families, please come join us. This is a great resource for anything you want educationally. Now, in this we also wanted to provide you with something more than just a site where you can look up different people. We wanted to show you a place that you can actually reach out and see and talk to and be part of a community of educators and educationally minded people. So, in order to do this, we've actually created MyLearningSource, but we've actually created something inside of it that we wanted to show you. So, if you come to a state, any state, pick a state. Now we're in Florida, this one. Okay, so now we've got workshops. Now, workshops are basically, you know, if you go to a convention you go to a workshop, you learn for like a half hour to an hour about someone's product or someone's information that they have. They might want to share about something that's not exactly what their company does, but to give you more information that you might appreciate so you might appreciate their company. That's great. So, we have two different types of workshops. One, we have our written workshops. Written workshops are just blog posts, basically, of different parts of education that you might actually want to learn about. Now, this is in Florida. This is actually our oldest running one, so we've got a lot of blog posts here. Now, you can click on it. You can actually see who presented it. So, this one is actually from MyLearningSource, this one right here. This one was from the animation course. This one is historical conquest LLC. So, that's the great thing about it. You're actually coming with an understanding of, hey, I want to be able to read about these different maybe not products, like this one teaches you about getting rid of the workshops and getting 25 hands-on history activities. This one is about, once upon a time, there was a little kid who loved to watch cartoons. I wonder what that's about. I'll read a little bit more. Now, it was put on by this vendor, so they're probably the expert on that subject. This one is actually put out by MyLearningSource because this is about Florida and some of the ESA programs and other things that homeschoolers in Florida might want to know. Now, say that you like reading these. They're okay, but you really want to ask questions. You want to be part of an activity. Well, come back up to workshops. Go down to live ones. Yeah, we've actually set this up so you can actually host live workshops for everyone. Now, in here, we just added this recently, so we only have two. That's really bad. I mean, come on, seriously. Vendors, please put your activities on here. We actually have a few more. I know that people are going to be adding them on very soon. Again, we just added this. But you come down lower and you can actually see all the different activities and there's like a social club here. It's for students for Zogos educational games. This one right here is for Make Your Move, Join the Historical Conquest Social Club. So some people are putting social clubs on there. Say someone wants to present their product so you can actually look at it and see how you like it. Maybe if they like it enough, they will buy it. Yeah, so vendors, we know what to put on there. Maybe a vendor wants to put out something that talks about the struggle of children when it comes to education and obtaining information. Would you go see it? Would you listen to it? I'm betting you would. But the more we actually put events on this calendar, the more people will come to see what's on there. Because they don't just see it here. Now they also said, I'm going to open up my family account. One second. Okay, I just brought up my account. Well, it has my wife's name on there, but my family account. So I click on here. I go to my accounts. This is for all the customers and the vendors. It's nice for you to know as well. In here, they can see their news and workshops from my vendors, the ones that I've chosen. So I only pick a few of them, whichever ones most apply to me. These are upcoming events. Now, both of these are upcoming events because they're both companies that I've listed. Now, I list almost all of them of the older vendors that are out there. I haven't really done it recently, so I need to add some more of those on there so I can see when their events come up as well. Now in here, we also have from the community. This is our social media posts that come through. These are our vendors, again, that we've liked and we want to be part of. So we have that right there. These are our coins. We do certain things on MyLearningSource, we actually earn coins. And you can click on, find out more information about it right here, how to earn more coins. But this will actually allow you to buy things with coins, not with actual money. So you come in here, you want to spend your coins. You can actually see there are two different things up here. One's from Historical Conquest and one's from Zogos. Very active. But you can see all the different things that are available with coins. So vendors, please put yours up there. It's a great way of getting people to know you. And one has to do with a free subscription for a few months. Another one has to do with a $5 discount. It doesn't have to be much. But I know the customers actually appreciate it. Earning coins, these are the ways that you earn coins. And then also discounts that the vendors have. Not ones that let's see. Yeah, these are not ones that you have to pay any coins for. You just get them for free, no matter what. These are my saved vendors, so all the ones that I've saved. So I've got a fair amount in there. Not many. We have over 500 different vendors right now. So active vendors, not just throw your name up and be part of it, but active vendors. So I have 10 maybe. I need to add some more because there's a lot of new ones I haven't done in a few weeks. My favorite workshops, ones that I like are actually listed here. I only have one. Again, it's my wife's, not mine. And so forth. My reviews, profiles. These are more discounts. I think the other ones were ones that I liked. These are ones that I did not like, but are. Look at that. Animation course. It's $25 off. Come on, guys. Look at that. A discount for you. Try it out. This is great. And so on and so forth. There's so much to do. Now, if you want to add your co-op in here, please do. That will allow your co-op to put their events up here. And also for other people to connect with your co-op. Also, right next to it is share your homeschooling events. If you have events that are happening in the city that are open to the public, post them. Say if you're in Florida, people from Florida might want to come see them, especially if they're homeschoolers. This is a cooperative. Not just between different vendors, but a cooperative with the homeschooling community. We're trying to bring this place together so we can actually bring all homeschoolers together. So everyone can join in. Everyone can benefit. And if you have advice for us, ways of making it better, please let us know. I really want to know. I want to make things better. I want to make things better for you. So thanks so much for joining us. I hope you enjoyed this or got something out of it. Check us tomorrow. We actually have. Let me see. Checking my schedule. Tomorrow we're going to be doing the MLS Association. So they're vendors. This is mostly for vendors. You're going to like that. Fairly soon we're going to start doing interviews with our vendors. So you get to know them a little bit more. So it will be a podcast on the site. We're also bringing in other podcasters to host their programs on our site. I mean why not? It's free. Free advertising. Free marketing. But people want to be able to see you. People want to be able to see all these different homeschooling cooperative groups and such. So wait. Before you leave, let's go back to what we started on. Let's go back to the homepage. We're in Florida. Live workshops. So one thing to know about this is if you're a vendor, you're going to be able to post it here. The customers are going to be able to see it. But how do you post it? Vendors. Go to your vendor overview. Your vendor portal. And then come down to live webinars. You come into a live webinar and you can fill out all this information and you post it. Now here's some great things to know. One is if you're open up to everyone. It's great if you're open to everyone. Please come. Especially if you're showing off your goods. At the same time if you want people to RSVP, that's also in here. If you want them to RSVP, they can sign up and then you can accept them. You accept every person that comes in. You put an image. You do a lot of different things. Check it out. Please add on to our calendar because we want everyone to see you. We want you to be part of this community. We want others to be part of this community. That's why we created this. Again, I don't make any money off of this. No company makes money off of this. We pay for this, our marketing, just to get it out to the homeschoolers. Because we love the homeschooling community and all that they've done for us. And we're also trying to get our names out. So just like every vendor, we pay for it as well. Actually we have two accounts. We have two companies in here we pay for. One is our non-profit, Innovate the Future. So if you want a non-profit that's focused on homeschooling and also public schools, but getting scholarships out to kids so they don't have to worry about their families going into debt or them going into debt, that's a great way of going into it. And also our self-historical conquest. So thanks so much for joining us. I hope you enjoyed this. I hope you appreciate what we were able to bring to you. And I hope you were able to learn some things from this. So thank you so much for joining us and we will catch you next time. Take care. Bye.
