Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Hey everyone, welcome to Housewives Goss and Glitter.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: We are doing our first episode of The Real Housewives of New York today.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: And we are gonna be on season 20, episode one.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: And it's definitely already going better, I think, than the Jen O Lyons season, but I love Jen O Lyons, so do not think it has anything against her.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: I just think it's been more interesting than that season.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: I'm obsessed with these girls.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's definitely better than OC is going, I think.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: I do, I it's way better than OC.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: I don't know if it's just because like the New York vibe is like so much more familiar, but OC just what they're arguing about to me is like so stupid.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: I can't, it's like hard to get into, but I think that's just because we're not invested.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: But with New York now, I'm like immediately invested.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: Like I find these girls so interesting.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: I've I found that I like actually liked it better immediately starting because I said I watched three seasons ago.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: So the first season with Jenna Lyons, I skipped second season, and then when she wasn't gonna come back, I wasn't gonna watch it at all.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: And then I started it and I actually found myself really enjoying it.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: But I think it's because even from three seasons ago, it's like there's only three people from that on it, like it's a whole new yeah, they've changed out like a ton of the cast.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: So they're quite the cast.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: I didn't like Cy or Aaron like two seasons ago, so we'll see how I like them this season.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: I like Cy now.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's fine.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: I want to see it play out.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: I want to see how it goes.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: I don't have any frame of reference for her except for what we saw in episode one.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: So for now, I like her.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: I like Jessel.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Um skeptical about Aaron.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: Daisy, I'm like fascinated.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I like Daisy.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: I freaking love Haley.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Haley is a weirdo and a half.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Haley is on a completely other planet.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: She's not even she doesn't even have one foot on Earth.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: I don't, yeah, she's a total, like, just crazy person.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: So we'll see how that goes.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm either gonna regret this and like shove my foot in my mouth in like three episodes, or she's just gonna grow on me more.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: I guess.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: Well, that's why it's that's the thing, is that's why it's so like it's so hard coming in this late because we were saying how much we like loved Vicky, but now that we're seeing her on Ultimate Girls Trip, I'm like, she's a nightmare.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's horrible, and she doesn't get any better this season either.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: It's when you get to episode seven, when we recap in a couple days, yeah, she's a fucking mean jerk, not a fan.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so just totally got like the wrong first impression of her.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: But anyway, let's go into Real Housewives of New York season 16, episode one, the price of perfection.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: Is that commenting on the fact that these girls do not eat anything?
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: Episode like seven times, and none of them eat.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, maybe you should.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, maybe.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: You know what I was thinking?
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Because the price of perfection, I mean, besides the salad thing, I realized in OC, every episode finances had been brought up, right?
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: And then I feel like we're in this episode and finances have been brought up, and I'm like, is that like the new when they're shopping?
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like when they're shopping, yeah, and like when they're talking about rent, all this stuff, and they're like, you can do this, like when they're at the real reel or whatever.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: And I feel like are they trying to make finances like a bigger thing lately in the season?
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Like, are they producers forcing it on everything?
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: Because I mean, we heard about Alicia's finances and Rory, but it wasn't like this.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: Like, I feel like it's a very everyone is very conscious of what they're spending.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: No, yeah, the Alicia thing I felt like was different.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: That was like she wanted more say over the family finances and to know what was going on.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: But OC is very much like trying to expose that some of them can't afford the lifestyle.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: I think what they're trying to do is be more transparent on like how much it costs to live these lifestyles because so many of the women, as the years go on and on and on, you find out that like a ton of them are living in like a financial house of cards.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: And so I don't know if that's why, like, as time goes on, it's just become so common that they're now trying to, I don't know, be more open about it, or maybe just be more relatable.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Because later on in the episode, we do hear that Erica rented her dress and Jessel like was blown away that she rented it and her husband's a billionaire.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, if you don't think she's gonna if she doesn't think she's gonna wear it again, then why not?
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: It doesn't make any sense.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: She's just gonna shove it away in a corner.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: I was I mean, I am a collector when it comes to fashion.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: So if I was a billionaire, there's no way I would ever fucking rent a dress.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: I would keep everything and have the most fabulous closet ever, but she's actually a billionaire.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: And I say she, I know it's her husband that's a tech billionaire, but they're married, so there's absolutely no way I'd waste time renting a dress and then sending it back.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: Like, no, that's crazy.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: She probably has a PA that does it, she probably rented like 10 different dresses and then had her PA return it for her.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: No, she should be buying and letting friends and family come over and chop her closet.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Or that.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: I didn't think there was anything wrong with it, and I know that like you hear a lot about the girls on like selling sunset, and even Rosie from Rory rents a bunch of her stuff because she posts her like rental codes for like her Chanel and everything.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's not trying to put off I'm a millionaire vibe, right?
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: And she's not a billionaire.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm not like most people aren't.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: I'm just saying a billionaire.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: I no, I would not be renting a dress.
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: That's crazy.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: Well, anyway, do you want to hear do you want to hear the peacock description?
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: Yes, I do.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: Jessel throws a lunar new year party.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: Sai opens up about her marriage.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: Blah.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: One thing that was interesting though is like I was very confused of what we were opening up with.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: Just like it was Carol reading her like bookslash blog, but it was very like gossip girl style.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: I was like, this is an interesting vibe.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: I was like, interesting vibe.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: But can we talk about like the opening?
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: Like, you go in though, but can we talk about Martha Stewart just being on a chair with Daisy, getting her makeup done?
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: That's why I'm so fascinated with Daisy.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: I'm like, what life is this?
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: I'm like, she's like, I have my two-bedroom condo with a popcorn ceiling, and I just have Martha Stewart sitting in my living room doing her makeup, and I've been to Egypt with Martha Stewart and like on trips with her, and I'm like, Yeah, that's amazing.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: So is she like her personal assistant?
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: Is that her job?
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: No, she's her makeup artist, but she also does other miscellaneous things for her.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: I think she just got invited as her glam squad to each.
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: Okay, I okay, so she's so like makeup artist, she doesn't like work outside of that capacity.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: I wasn't sure if she was her makeup artist only or she was like an assistant, like no, the way I understood it is she's a makeup artist only.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: She learned how to do makeup while working at the strip club with Cy, but they weren't actually strippers.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: What did they do at scores?
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: They were probably shop girls or bartenders or something.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because Cy said party girls, and I'm like, Well, what job is that if it's not the dancers?
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: I would think like the shop girls or something.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: Okay, so yeah, so she worked, they worked at scores, that's how they met, and now she's a makeup artist.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: That makes sense.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: Yes, I'm like fascinated by Daisy's life, and I think it's really funny that her husband's name is no, her driver's name is Dale.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I want a driver named Dale.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: I know, right?
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: I just want a driver, but yeah, I like Daisy.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: I thought her vibe with Martha Stewart was fun.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: I thought Martha Stewart's stories were insane about like knowing the can talking to the Kennedys right before they died.
- 9:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: And I thought it was so funny how Martha Stewart walked around and was like, You need to turn these pots around, that kettle doesn't go in here.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: She's like, Oh, there's so much we need to do in here.
- 9:23SPEAKER_01: And then she's like, Did you have she's like, is that a store bot pie?
- 9:28SPEAKER_01: It's funny, it's just very funny.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: But her like yellow suit was like one of my favorite pieces of fashion I've ever seen on the Real Housewives.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: It was amazing.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: Martha nails it each and every time.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: I've been on test with Martha Stewart for years, like before the documentary on Netflix came out.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I have loved her.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: So the season there, I was like, this is the way to open it.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: That was so I was like, my job was on the floor.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh my god, this is amazing.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: And I just I do, I love a monochrome look.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: So would you like that job to like work for Martha Stewart?
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: Or do you think it's like really hard to work for her?
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: I think it'd be really hard to work with her.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: I hear she's kind of a B.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: But if she was such a B, she wouldn't like be sitting in that apartment.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: Like, I kind of thought it was like she pay well.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: I mean, she seems nice, but she is also very like she can undercut, like, she's a really strong businesswoman, and so she doesn't let things go in her way.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: And even in the documentary, you get like this like air of bitchiness, and there is no mistakes, you cannot make a mistake, and I think that'd be like very intimidating.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: I don't think I'd like it.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: Well, that was definitely interesting.
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: I hope we see.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: Do you think we're gonna see a lot of her, or do you think that that was just I don't know, that'd be fun.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: I feel like it'd be so lame if we don't see more of her, and they opened up the season with it.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: I know it was pretty, it was a pretty epic way to open it up, yeah.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: So that would be very strange.
- 11:11SPEAKER_01: Okay, then we go to Cy and Jessel.
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: So Jessel is visiting Cy, and Cy is in a new apartment in the financial district.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: It is my dream to have an apartment with a doorman.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: I mean, in Cambridge, we didn't have a doorman, but we did have a security guard that dressed nice that was there all night.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: But it's not the same as a doorman.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: I want like the fancy doorman that's standing under the awning.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: And we have a security guard in San Diego who wore a polo check on car passes that night.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: I want a classic New York City doorman.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: So I love that.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: Love that.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: So my understanding is these two used to be foes and now they're turned friends.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: The first thing they weren't big on each other, and I actually just watched a whole TikTok on like this thing that kind of caught me up between seasons.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: And I guess like Jessel is a fan favorite, and Cy and Aaron are like mean girls.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: So oh, is Aaron the Aaron's like this really skinny one that's like, yeah, and she had like the really low-cut confessional men's shirt.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yes, yes, that one.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: So, yes, they were like mean girls, and I kind of did see the mean girl vibe, and Jessel was nice, but Jessel just annoys me, and I won't lie, I hated Jessel's hair for the confessional.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: I didn't hated it, it was horrible.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: Like, what was she doing?
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: She just looked like a cotton, like a fluffy fluff, yeah, yeah, like a styled fluff.
- 13:01unknown: I don't know.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: But so yeah, so we end up going to their size new apartment.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: Jessel gives her a candle, and it's a Christmas candle or something.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was right.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: That was the one, yeah.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: And she was like, Why are you like re-gifting me a thing?
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: She's like, Well, I just like to give people candles.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: You can't go to any of the stores in New York City and just buy a fucking candle.
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: You also you can't light a Christmas candle off season, like you just can't, it's it's just it's a very specific, like after Halloween, then you can start with the holiday candles, but it just doesn't go otherwise.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I agree.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: So that was interesting.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: Um, but so they end up talking, I guess, about how Sai asked her husband for a separation, and that I know, and that their marriage wasn't as good as like previously said, and that she was kind of like covering it up.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: So much more than that, though.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: Like, it wasn't so much about their relationship as it was about his like job, and what I got out of it is that like three years ago, he had stopped working, and they made it out to others as if he had retired.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: Although you can see in video, he's not like an older guy, he's he seems actually like a younger guy because when she first said that, I was like, Oh, maybe she has an older husband.
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: And then they started showing him, and I'm like, Oh, he actually seems young.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: So it seems to me like they had made it out to be like he sold his business, did really well, and now he's like not really working anymore.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: But yeah, that's how it seemed a couple seasons ago.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: Like he sold his business, he retired, this is it, he's gonna take off more, and that was going to allow her to do her job.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: But she was an influencer, like her job is influencer, or that I don't know if she clarified what she's doing now, but her job three seasons ago was influencing, and it drove some of the girls nuts on like their past trip because she wanted photos of like all this stuff for like Instagram, and they were like, We don't want to do this, right?
- 15:19SPEAKER_01: Well, it seems to me that in reality he must have not done very well selling his business, or maybe they were in a bunch of debt and they put the proceeds towards that.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: I don't know, but it seems to me like he's not retiring in like the lap of luxury, and he's just been lazy, not doing anything, not helping with the finances at all, hadn't been trying to look for a job until very recently, and she's like doing everything, and that is very like unsexy, especially for three years, like you know.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: I mean, and then on top of that, it I just felt bad for her because she was saying she was embarrassed, and like it is kind of embarrassing because you've been trying to like cover up the facade, but it also just sucks because it's like she's working so hard, and like he's the one that should be embarrassed if he's really just like laying around all day.
- 16:17SPEAKER_01: Like, what the hell is he doing?
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: They live in New York City, like you can't afford to know, right?
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: And they have kids and like younger kids, not like teenage.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, pretty sure they're like younger, yeah.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: So why I definitely stand for the separation.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: I feel like three years is enough time to expect somebody to get their shit together, and that's just not reasonable.
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: I did, I was kind of like when um Jessel was like, Oh, how what's his name again?
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: Is his name David?
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, when Jessel was like, Oh, how's how does David like the apartment?
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: And she was like, I don't really care what he thinks, and I was like, Oh, yeah, I know I heard that and I was like, Oh, I was like, Oh, that's it was rough, it was a rough conversation, but it was also very real because I do think like a lot of the housewives do try to project that they're a lot better off, like we were talking about before, a lot better off than they actually are.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: And she this is very like honest to come out and be like, Yeah, no, we're actually not doing well at all.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: And he's like not bringing in any money.
- 17:23SPEAKER_01: That's true, it's nice.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: Kind of like Joe Judice, like you know, well, I mean, it is well now he's out living his best life in the Bahamas.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: He is, but it it was kind of like that.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Like, you could tell on the show when he stopped working because he was just like at home all the time, like drinking wine while she's like doing book signings and like out there, like doing all this stuff and like accepting these like fees for like these crazy magazine articles, and he's just like at home with like a bottle of wine.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: It's like it's just very unattractive.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that was tough.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: That was really that was like, oh, yes, yeah.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: Then we get a snapshot of Haley rollerblading down the streets of New York in her fur coat, and then we see her go to her piety.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: How do you say it piano tear?
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: Pieter.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: This is her piano tear, although Ruben lives in the city too.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: So this is just her extra apartment.
- 18:24SPEAKER_01: Isn't it piano tear like your apartment in another city?
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: I guess so.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: I am I think so.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: I think that's what she was trying to say and explain it to Aaron.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: And Aaron was like, but you have an apartment in the city, and she was like, Well, no, this is my thing, and let Haley just do her thing, I think, is where I'm going with that one.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: Well, it's not just the fact that she has her own apartment and she's married to Ruben, she also has like full-blown sex with other women without Ruben.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: I was very confused because at first I thought I misunderstood.
- 19:02SPEAKER_00: No, like and I was like, wait, she keeps mentioning Ruben and how he leaves her dishes and she wants to live in her own apartment so she doesn't have to do dishes, and then it's just stocked with wine, sunglasses, and protein bars, and that's it.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: Then she goes and starts talking about being with women, and I was just like, Wait, but did she mention Ruben?
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: So I need to like spend the time, like her side, yeah.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: No, these are like her side checks.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't think that they are involved with Ruben at all because when they were at the party, yeah, she brought a date.
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: She brought a date, and was it one of the girls was like, Oh, has Ruben met her?
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: And she was like, No, and she kind of had like a weird look on her face, and I'm like, Is he okay with?
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, I know a lot of guys, I guess are, but he's not included in this, it doesn't seem no, it's see, or like maybe she only introduces the ones that she really likes.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: I have no idea, and then she's also really graphic about it.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: Like, yes, this isn't like fun, like I make out with girls.
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: She was like really graphic about the type of like sex they were having, and I was like, her nose.
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: Well, it wasn't it was like her fake boob was in her face, and she got her nose broken, but she also said it was at the same time that the girl was like had like a dildo in her, and I was like, Oh my god, it was very strange, yes.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: But it was really strange, it caught me off guard completely.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: I just I just wasn't expecting that, I guess.
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: I don't know what I was expecting.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: It's not what I was expecting at all, and like the conversation with Aaron started about her daughter, and she was crying.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: And Haley goes into her confessional, was like, I couldn't tell her to take her shoes off because she was crying about her daughter, so like what do I do?
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: And I was like, what?
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: And then, like, she's having this heart tart with Aaron about how all daughters are like trouble at that age, and it can be rough.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: And she starts talking about how her mom has her own tap dancing room, and then how her mom was the one that told her to go on a date with John from John and Kate plus eight.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: So many things.
- 21:20SPEAKER_01: So, like the story that she was trying to tell to be relatable had like nothing to do with what Aaron was saying.
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: Erin is not talking about her teenage or adult daughter, she's talking about a nine-year-old, yeah, talking about a nine-year-old that's basically being a brat.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: She's like hitting her siblings and talking back, and she's nine.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: And Haley's like, Yeah, all girls are hard at that age.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, at nine?
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: And then she goes into this story about like her mother trying to get her into this relationship she had as an adult.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: I was like, This is not connecting like at all with what Aaron is saying.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Super super high, and she was so high that she blacked out, which I don't even think you have to.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: High on it's concerning to me that she was high and rollerblading around the city in the street.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: But also high on what though?
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: Weed, because then her I saw a clip for their intros, and hers is when they get low, I get high.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: But what does that that means?
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: What?
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: In my head, I'm going when she just smoked a ton of pot.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Because I think they can get in trouble for doing coke.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: I thought she was talking about pills.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: Maybe.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: I thought she meant she like took something.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, I went and she got high as a kite off of pot.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: Because that's normally what people say.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: I just I'm like, she's really skinny.
- 22:51SPEAKER_01: She doesn't fucking eat anything.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: Like how like how I was saying, like, you're not supposed to do Coke and be on Bravo, but Luann is definitely doing some Coke on Ultimate Girls trips.
- 23:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm very skeptical on what she meant by that.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: And I don't know.
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: I mean, just judging by the other stuff she says, I don't think that she would try to hide it either.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: Also, can we just talk about though the pictures that they showed of her on a date with John and how different her face looked?
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: She looks like I wouldn't have recognized her like at all.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: No, I wouldn't have in like a million years.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: She looks like an alien.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: She's like so much work done.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: She went from like pretty to alien.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: I also don't remember this story at all.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: Did he actually leave his wife for her?
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: According to Haley, she said no, but the tabloids said yes.
- 23:47SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: I never watched that show with the Goslin, so I I'm not really like up on that gossip, but yeah, I would have never known that that was the same person.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: She does.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Well, one of the boys just released a book, so maybe he has a tell tell all, and maybe she's mentioned.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's crazy.
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: Very insane.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm interested to meet Ruben.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, me too.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: I hope we actually get to meet Ruben.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: Hope he's not just like non-existent and just a name.
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: I also thought it was funny that she was rollerblading in a fur coat and hat.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, I feel like I'll get so hot.
- 24:31unknown: I know.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: And I feel like it didn't look like it was that cold.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: Like judging by what other people were wearing.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:39SPEAKER_01: So that's why she's just eccentric.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: Very eccentric, yes.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: Very strange.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: She's a strange one.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: She's she was also really strange at the New Year's party.
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: Like, I think she was high again there.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: Probably.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: Probably.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: Now we're at Jessel's really quick.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: And the only thing, well, we find out that her dad died, but the only other thing is that like she's planning the New Year's party, and her husband's like inspiring food influencer.
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: But he's like more focused on the food.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, spends too long making the food for the kids than making it.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: She's like, we need to make it lucrative.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: I I mean you can make a lucrative killing.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: Like, I mean, there is a thing for it.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: I know, but what else do they do?
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: But what else do they do?
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: I can't remember what she does, but she has like a legitimate job.
- 25:33unknown: Okay.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: Because I mean they wouldn't be able to afford that lifestyle if they hadn't already made money first.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: Like I imagine he he had like a career and is now just doing this for fun.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: I'm wondering if he has, if he's like just on like a hiatus or got laid off or something, and so this is like his hobby really cool.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like he looked like a professional guy.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: So yeah, like I know they both had jobs or something, or we can research it.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: We'll let you guys know later.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: Maybe you can just fill us in.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: It's interesting.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, it's also interesting to go in without any like preconceived notions, though, you know, like we're just watching it and commenting on what we're seeing at first instead of getting all this background information.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: After this, I'll have to look up the background information.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: Now we're with Sai.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: I love the real reel, and I love the real real so much.
- 26:36SPEAKER_01: I've never been inside the actual store, just the website.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: So, like I've walked by the store quite every time I'm in New York, I've walked by it.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: I've never gone in, and I won't lie, it's because I've only read horror stories about their authenticity on half of their designer bags, and they will fight you to the death, even if they have sent you a fake, and you can go have it re-authenticated and like pay for another authentication and send it to them, and they will still say that it is real and they won't refund you.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: And they've also been known to ship books purses with cockroaches in them.
- 27:17SPEAKER_00: I've never heard that before.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: Yep, I read a whole thing on it.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: So, and I guess it's just getting sloppy because there's been so many real sale sites that pop up.
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, there are fakes like I read a whole book called Counterfeit, where a woman was getting incredibly high-end fakes from China, bringing them over to the US and then returning them or exchanging them for real bags in the store.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: And then the store would go and unwillingly sell a knockoff.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: So just interesting.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: That's interesting.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: I I've never had a problem with resale stuff.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: I literally anything designer that I have, I've never bought in the store now.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: I think it's a waste.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, I mean it makes sense.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: And Slater sends stuff out and he has to get it all authenticated because a lot of his sneakers are designers and over the limit, so they have to be authenticated.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: And I mean, I know Slater's not selling fakes because I'm with him when he buys them.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: So um, but yeah, I don't know.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: I just read that the real reel has had issues and some of the other sites haven't.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Interesting but I'm not saying it's everything, but I would go into the real real.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: I mean, I looked at the real wheel, and I have because I wanted to buy Gucci shoes one day.
- 28:38SPEAKER_01: So yeah, they have a lot of good stuff on there.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: So yeah, they meet in there to shop.
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: This is Sai and Daisy, and Daisy's in there just like stripping down in the middle of the store.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: And her broad see throat.
- 28:54SPEAKER_01: And then I was gonna say it's like sheer, and it's also like New York City, so I just feel like anybody's just kind of like walking in at any time, like they weren't doing like a private shopping experience, so like yeah, and she kept my favorite part was she kept going, there's all girls here, and there's like four guys working.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: She's I don't know, she's crazy.
- 29:20SPEAKER_01: And then the thing that did suck though is she picked out this leather trench coat, loved it.
- 29:26SPEAKER_01: It was$1,300.
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: They made it very clear that it was$1,300, which is like, I don't even want to know how much it was full price.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: And the they go to ring it out, and the guy's like, Oh, somebody just bought it online, and like they hadn't taken it off the floor yet.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: I was like, that fucking sucks.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: I would be so annoyed and be like, I'm in person, like, sell me the coat and reject the online thing, just case.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I thought that was crazy because then they have to eat the shipping.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: But was there anything like actually in this scene besides her just changing in the thing?
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: I don't think they talked about anything important.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: I don't think so, but this one you were saying that they were highlighting the spend.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: This was one of them, yes, because then she was making a comment about her son's college fund going out the window and then being like, how everything was like, how much is it?
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: Because then I was looking at that Fendi bag and it was like, How much is the Fendi bag?
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: What are we doing?
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: Let I mean when you're shopping, you're gonna look at it, but again, I'm not I know the housewives aren't loaded, but it's also one of those things where I'm like, they get paid per episode.
- 30:43SPEAKER_00: A lot of them do have okay jobs, they're obviously on this re on the show for a reason.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: Sai herself is a successful influencer, and I just feel like the highlight of how much everything costs, they're either like living paycheck to paycheck when they shouldn't be, or they're still sticker shocked after all these years.
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: I don't know, it's just interesting.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: I don't know, to just have it pointed out all the time, I feel like.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: And in older episodes, we didn't get that.
- 31:12SPEAKER_01: I think it's because so many of them have been caught in that loop of like they're on the show for so many years acting as if, and then they find out you find out that they've been broke for like quite a while.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because didn't you just do something where someone was renting like half of their stuff?
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: That was Jen Shaw.
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: She had like when they when she had to give up a bunch of her like assets, some of it it turned out like she was renting her poor, like she was renting her Porsche, and she had like a certain amount of luxury items, and then a ton of them were counterfeit.
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: Uh like a ton of her shoes and bags that she like gave that she handed over.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: Like a bunch of them weren't even real.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: And it's like it's just you're projecting yourself, like you're just projecting an image on the show when you were either broke the whole time or you got broke because you were trying to keep up with everybody else.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: Um and that's happened to tons of them, like tons of them.
- 32:22SPEAKER_01: So I know I don't know.
- 32:23SPEAKER_01: It makes sense.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: So many of them have either been arrested for like drunk and disorderly drugs or fraud.
- 32:30unknown: Right.
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's definitely interesting.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: Um, I another thing too is I um I thought the trench coat was nice, but I don't like the I don't like a floor-length leather.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: Just personally, it's a lot of yeah, it's a lot of fabric.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: I think I liked it, but I wouldn't, I don't think I'd wear it.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: It looked good on her, like the jacket was a nice jacket.
- 32:55SPEAKER_01: I just don't for a trench coat.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: I I just have always thought that that length of leather is like just a lot to wear.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: That's all.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: It is.
- 33:07SPEAKER_00: If you don't do it right, it'll wear you.
- 33:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: Especially in black.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: Like if it was like a camel, it might be.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: Now we're heading to this like a beautiful party.
- 33:22SPEAKER_01: Like, wow.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: I have to say, we're at Jessel's lunar new year party.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: I hated her outfit.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: Hated it.
- 33:31SPEAKER_00: Jess, yeah.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: I didn't like the gloves, I didn't like the skirt, and I thought that the crop top was too far up here, and it needed like another inch.
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it also was a little too small, like it was squeezing her, and I'm like, that's not needed when all these women are fucking pretty thin, like really thin.
- 33:54SPEAKER_01: I was just like, just get a one size bigger.
- 33:58SPEAKER_01: Like, what are we doing?
- 33:59SPEAKER_01: Like, when it's squeezing you and you're standing up, it's like, why?
- 34:03SPEAKER_00: I know it has to be uncomfortable.
- 34:05SPEAKER_01: Like, get a two instead of a zero.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't know, but that's just like that's just me.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't want to be at a party like not breathing.
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: You want to be able to eat and talk and carry a drink, and like if you are like skin, you can't do any of those things comfortably.
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: No, you can't.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: So that was one thing.
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: Uh size red was phenomenal.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: It was amazing.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: I wrote the outfit was fab, and I loved the sparkles.
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: And when she walked up with like that jacket, like off the shoulders, perfection.
- 34:41SPEAKER_00: It looks great.
- 34:42SPEAKER_01: She yeah, she was definitely best dressed.
- 34:45SPEAKER_01: That was like, oh my god, yeah, those were the two outfits that I recall.
- 34:52SPEAKER_01: I I don't like with uh Erin about some of her looks.
- 34:58SPEAKER_01: Okay, so you're right.
- 35:00SPEAKER_01: Her confessional is like she's wearing a super low-cut men's shirt, and then at the party, she's wearing the off-the-shoulder and the super low cut.
- 35:08SPEAKER_01: And the thing is, is she's so bony up here, and she has such a long neck with the short hair.
- 35:14SPEAKER_01: I'm like, ugh, I don't know.
- 35:17SPEAKER_00: It's it's yeah, I didn't know I didn't like about the confessional shirt.
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: I feel like it was like really deep, and the necklace was too chunky, and her hair's like I don't like how it looks.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: Like if she pulls it back, it's like a bob, but then it's it's like super layered in the front.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: I mean, I know I have, but something about it doesn't work, and her dress is so severe.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: Yes, that's a good way to put it because she's very bony, and I'm just like, okay, there's just a lot of things.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: The gold one.
- 35:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I like that a lot, but I feel like everyone else's was like, I can't really remember them.
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: Nothing stood out, and Jessel made a point of saying everyone was gonna come in black and it was gonna look like a funeral, and I feel like everyone did, and now nothing stands out, like except for Cy, yeah.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 36:21SPEAKER_01: Cy looked really good.
- 36:22SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, that's true.
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: Because I don't remember what the others were wearing, and then I got distracted when Haley was like introducing her date to everybody, but she was being like dead serious.
- 36:30SPEAKER_01: It was like an actual date.
- 36:32SPEAKER_01: Because I was like, again, I was like, Oh, her friend.
- 36:35SPEAKER_01: I'm like, oh, that's not a friend.
- 36:36SPEAKER_00: They were like, friend or date, and she was like, date, and they're like, but you friend, and she was like, like a date, you're on a friend with a date, like a date with a friend.
- 36:44SPEAKER_01: She was like, No, yeah, and she was like, Well, we can be friends, but then we can also like hook up and have fun.
- 36:53SPEAKER_01: And I was like, it's just it's weird.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: I know I'm being really judgmental, it's just weird because you need to put on your judgment hat, okay?
- 37:04SPEAKER_01: I will put on my judgmental hat.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: It's just like it's weird to mo to mesh mishmash those vibes.
- 37:14SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, I'm not gonna like go to a party with my friend and be all excited and get dressed up and drink prosecco and then be like, yeah, let's go have sex after.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: Like, that's weird to me.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: Like it's like a date vibe is completely different than that.
- 37:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but I mean to me, just though.
- 37:37SPEAKER_01: I know everybody, I know.
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: I'm just saying for me personally, it's just she's just very eccentric.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes, she is very eccentric.
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: This was like an interesting uh party in general because then you have Aaron who came and Jessel saying she only invited her so she didn't feel left out because it's hard to be the one in the friend group that doesn't get to come.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, no amount of money would make me invite someone that I don't like.
- 38:05SPEAKER_01: I think she invited her.
- 38:08SPEAKER_01: Oh, I think she invited her so that she could make that speech.
- 38:17SPEAKER_01: I think she wanted Aaron to hear the speech that was very clearly about her.
- 38:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't know.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: It was just like awkward.
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: Aaron had to stir up the drama, and I don't know.
- 38:31SPEAKER_00: But Haley technically brought up some of it, but also like Jessel has been really open about the IVF even two seasons ago.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: So when she was like, she brought up my IVF, I'm like, you brought it up on television.
- 38:49SPEAKER_01: It's also kind of a moot point, though, too, because they're not together, so it's not an issue that's still happening, I assume.
- 38:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like she's not having another baby.
- 39:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's Jessel, yeah.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: I think Haley just doesn't know what she's even saying.
- 39:09SPEAKER_01: I think she just went over there and was randomly like.
- 39:12SPEAKER_00: I don't think she was technically in the wrong.
- 39:14SPEAKER_00: I think she was just trying to bring something up to talk about.
- 39:18SPEAKER_01: She didn't even like finish her sentence, like she just literally came over and like said the words IVF.
- 39:25SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, did a cameraman like tell you to say that?
- 39:29SPEAKER_01: Because I don't even know what she was like, it was just so random and irrelevant.
- 39:34SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't think it had any like bad intentions, but I'm like, why would you even like bring that up at her at a party anyway?
- 39:43SPEAKER_01: It's just she's just so out of it, and she like couldn't get a thought out.
- 39:48SPEAKER_00: It was like she was stuck.
- 39:50SPEAKER_00: It's like a sentence would come out, and then there'd be like this really long pause, and it would just end.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she has these really long awkward pauses.
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: Um, she likes short circuits, yeah.
- 40:07SPEAKER_00: But then Jessel uses it as a reason to be mad at Aaron.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: Granted, Aaron shouldn't have been spreading everything over, but then Aaron's comment about Jessel and Cy being friends like blew my mind though.
- 40:20SPEAKER_00: Like she was pissed about that.
- 40:22SPEAKER_01: She's really mad that they're like besties now, and that's the thing, is because they so you said that Aaron and Sai in past seasons were super close, so like we I didn't so it's like we haven't seen any of that, so but it's believable, yeah, because she's like super mad that they're really close friends because obviously Aaron and Jessel don't like each other, so now she's like, Oh, you guys are best friends now, yeah, and she's like almost kind of jealous and like offended or something, and but then when Jessel confronts her about everything that she says, Aaron is like, you are unauthentic and calls Jessel thirsty.
- 41:07SPEAKER_01: Well, it was funny because yeah, like everything, everything that Jessel thinks that Aaron said about her, then it like flashes over to Ultimate Girls Trip, which is apparently just like the biggest pot stirring show in the history of the universe.
- 41:23SPEAKER_01: And yeah, and it just flashes over to Ultimate Girls Trip, where she is saying all of those things in a cab ride to like a bunch of other cast members from other franchises.
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: So she was talking about her, and but then she doesn't even deny it, and then she straight up tells Jessel exactly what she thinks.
- 41:42SPEAKER_01: No, she's not sorry about it.
- 41:44SPEAKER_01: I just think she's annoyed because my impression is that Sai and Aaron probably used to talk a bunch of shit about Jessel, and now she's like, wait, now they're like best friends, and like nobody filled me in.
- 41:57SPEAKER_01: So I feel like that's the whole reason why she's mad.
- 42:00SPEAKER_01: I don't think she actually cares that much that like Jessel knows that she said that stuff about her.
- 42:04SPEAKER_01: Like they're not friends, they're very clearly not friends.
- 42:08SPEAKER_01: I think she's just like, whatever.
- 42:10SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, yeah, I don't know.
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: I liked how Erica and Daisy, though, were just standing watching the fight going down and being like, what the fuck is happening right now?
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Daisy was like, I don't care if you guys say bad things about me as long as you don't call me fat.
- 42:26SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, again, none of you eat on this show.
- 42:34SPEAKER_00: No, we never see them eating.
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: No, like the disorder is rampant.
- 42:41SPEAKER_00: I know, at least in the OC, they'll order food, but then like they'll split a salad and take the top off a burger.
- 42:52SPEAKER_01: I do not want to split food with people.
- 42:55SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry, but like when I go out to dinner, I don't want to split food.
- 43:01SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: I want to order my own meal.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: And well, I remember going to be like, let's split a salad.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: That sounds horrible.
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: Maybe if it was like a giant.
- 43:15SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, because even when you're splitting it, it just sucks because when you're splitting it, it's like you have to like you're like worried about taking too much, even though it's just a salad.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: And it's like, I don't want to split this with anybody.
- 43:30SPEAKER_01: Like, sorry.
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: We actually speaking of splitting a salad, Slater and I actually went out to dinner, but we ordered two apps, and then we got like this crazy salad, and we're like, we want to split the salad because we have like a plate of nachos that was like the size of Toretto's, huge.
- 43:47SPEAKER_00: And then I think we also got chicken tenders, and we're like, we'd like to split the salad.
- 43:51SPEAKER_00: The place actually individually plated mini versions of the salad.
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: Yes, I would rather do that, but I thought that.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: That was interesting.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: But that is the only time I want to split salad is if I just had it half a plate of nachos and chicken tenders to my face.
- 44:08SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 44:09SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't want to be like, oh, let me split it.
- 44:11SPEAKER_00: No, it's because we split everything else, and then we like what?
- 44:14unknown: Yeah.
- 44:15unknown: Yeah.
- 44:16SPEAKER_01: So one thing though, back to the party that I thought was funny.
- 44:20SPEAKER_01: So, like, when Jessel was doing her speech and she was clearly like giving direct shots at Aaron, she gets off the stage and Aaron just like walks over to her and she's like, So what's the problem?
- 44:30SPEAKER_01: And this like really like raspy voice.
- 44:33SPEAKER_01: And I was like, This is like very awkward.
- 44:38SPEAKER_00: Uh, it was awkward, and then they go at it, and then she's like, You have to leave, and then Aaron just wouldn't leave.
- 44:44SPEAKER_00: And then it was so awkward that she had to get the owner involved, and he had to like escort her out, and then Aaron couldn't.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: Okay, that was the owner, yes.
- 44:53SPEAKER_01: Okay, I didn't know who that guy was.
- 44:54SPEAKER_01: I didn't catch that.
- 44:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that was so awkward because he was like kicking them out, but he was trying to be nice, but he was very clearly kicking them out.
- 45:02SPEAKER_01: He's like, Okay, yeah, so unfortunately, it's time to go.
- 45:07SPEAKER_00: It's her fault, blah blah blah.
- 45:09SPEAKER_00: And she's like, I'm leaving.
- 45:10SPEAKER_00: He's like, Okay, but like you need to leave, right?
- 45:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, it was embarrassing, it was embarrassing for like her husband.
- 45:19SPEAKER_01: It was just embarrassing and awkward, but um yeah, it really was.
- 45:25SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 45:26SPEAKER_00: This will be interesting.
- 45:27SPEAKER_00: I can't wait to see episode two.
- 45:31SPEAKER_00: I'm excited.
- 45:33SPEAKER_01: I love all the fashion.
- 45:35SPEAKER_01: The fashion is also, I feel like I'm like really shitting on OC right now, but the fashion is so much better than Orange County.
- 45:42SPEAKER_00: Like, oh my god, it's so much better.
- 45:44SPEAKER_00: Nothing in Orange County has made me go, wow, with the exception of okay, wait, I lied.
- 45:50SPEAKER_00: Today I watched episode seven, and Tamara had this beautiful black body con dress on, and the sleeves were of fur, like brown fur cuffs, and they were big and giant, and she wore it to dinner in Vegas, and it was perfect.
- 46:08SPEAKER_01: I'm excited to see that.
- 46:10SPEAKER_00: But other than that, I think it's a snooze fest.
- 46:14SPEAKER_00: I think Shannon dresses like she is a hundred years old.
- 46:18SPEAKER_01: She dresses so oddly, like again, that whole outfit that she looked like that nun from Sister Act.
- 46:23SPEAKER_01: I was like, what are we doing here?
- 46:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't get it.
- 46:25SPEAKER_00: I don't think it's very OC, and I think it ages her when she's trying so hard to be like young and fun.
- 46:34SPEAKER_01: It's it's weird, and Gina's outfits are so weird too.
- 46:39SPEAKER_01: And some of Vicky's are as well.
- 46:41SPEAKER_01: Some of her like business outfits are very like outdated.
- 46:46SPEAKER_00: Gina just wants to be eaten by her suits.
- 46:50SPEAKER_01: I just think she's having the same issue that Ashley has on Rhode Island, where she's like trying to find a style, and it's not like that.
- 46:58SPEAKER_00: That is not hasn't it been like seven years of her on the show or something?
- 47:03SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm surprised.
- 47:06SPEAKER_01: I'm surprised that she's dressing this badly.
- 47:09SPEAKER_00: Like I didn't realize that she had been on so long, but then you find out that her and like Emily, I think, met on the show, and it's been eight years or something.
- 47:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean you'd think like after seeing yourself on TV, you would know like what looks good on you and what doesn't.
- 47:29SPEAKER_01: It's like there was like Theresa's had a lot of looks, but then she also went through this phase where she was wearing these like cat suits, and I'm like, these are so bad.
- 47:39SPEAKER_01: Like these all patterned cat suits, and I'm like, and they were designer, but it's like the type of designer that it's like just logos over your whole fucking body, and I'm like, please stop wearing that.
- 47:58SPEAKER_01: She's yeah, Doreen from Beverly Hills used to do that.
- 48:02SPEAKER_01: She still does sometimes where it's like something, it's like just labels all over the place, and it's like it's it's distract.
- 48:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, it depends on what it is, I guess, but it's super distracting, and it just I don't know.
- 48:19SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 48:20SPEAKER_00: I think the best dressed one on OC is honestly Tamara.
- 48:24SPEAKER_01: She is yeah, no, she's definitely the best dressed one on OC, um, for sure.
- 48:31SPEAKER_01: And then I think New York is just gonna be like a sleigh session, just every episode.
- 48:36SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh my god, these outfits, this lifestyle, just this whole thing.
- 48:41SPEAKER_00: You're like, just bring me.
- 48:43SPEAKER_00: Can I be one?
- 48:44SPEAKER_01: I know, I know it made me like want to move there so badly.
- 48:48SPEAKER_01: Oh man, I know it was great, guys.
- 48:51SPEAKER_00: We wanna say thank you for listening to re to us recap New York.
- 48:55SPEAKER_00: You heard us talking about the OC, we'll be doing that soon.
