- RAC Aaron: Right. And then so we've got a little bit of news, but we also have a trivia segment, right? RAC Chandler: Unfortunately. RY4N: thought you said I had to make one, so I won. That's sweet. RAC Chandler: See you guys. RY4N: I thought it was weekly. Why bad if I got that wrong. RAC Chandler: No, no, we can definitely do it weekly. I just created the idea to fill dead space if there's no news. RAC Aaron: Yeah, I think that's going to kind of be where we can like during the week, like I think we should all have one in the back pocket at all times. Just so like as we're rotating, it can be like, there's going to be weeks where the biggest news is like, well, they changed the judge in the Brandon Sworesby case. And that's not something we can talk. For the news team. Yeah, no, I'm just. RAC Chandler: Hey hey hey hey hey hey! Hey! Save there for the news team. That's what we get paid for. Golly. RAC Aaron: But you know, like if that's the only thing that happened that week, we can talk about it for five minutes. We're now into the main segment. So things like that, where it's like exactly where we've got to, even though I think we'll talk about it for a minute. But yeah, that, that way it's not every week. It's just when we need it. So I'll get us into it. Welcome back to run after cast the college football podcast. As usual, I'm Aaron and I'm joined by Ryan and Chandler. RY4N: Hey guys. RAC Chandler: What's going on, gentlemen? RAC Aaron: And this week we wanted to sit down and talk about the coaches in the hot seat, a forever topic from every season that you run into with college football. And when we're in this in between seasons time, there's not a lot to talk about, but there is that time as a fan where you think about is it time for a change? So we each brought some coaches we thought might be that change that fans are looking for. But before we get into that discussion. We do have to cut over to our ratchy news team and check in on what went down this week. RAC Chandler: because we were not taking a vacation this week. Two weeks was enough. So first one, super, I mean, really both of them are national media and I'm sure every single person listening to this is so much more informed than we are. And this will not be the first time you've heard about it, but pretend it is. first being Brendan Soresby, new development on that. Obviously it's going to trial. was sports gambling an outrageous amount and on his team as well. So the first judge in the case RAC Aaron: Hahaha. RAC Chandler: recused himself since he was an alumni from Texas Tech. He had pictures with the mascot and it was a whole whole spiel. So he recused himself, which he should, because that's a lot of hot water he didn't want to get into. The next judge comes along and is in the same judicial region as Texas Tech, which is Lubbock County, if I'm pronouncing that right. ⁓ Lubbock, Lubbock, just one of those, you know, Texas counties. ⁓ So it's shaping up to have built in bias towards Texas tech, obviously, because they're in the same region. So, you know, the people on the, what are they called? The people that sit there? Jury. All right. So we'll just cut that part. So it's looking like the jury, obviously the judge, they're going to have some built in bias. So we'll see if that anything. RAC Aaron: journey. RY4N: Cheers. RAC Aaron: You RAC Chandler: comes out towards Brennan Sworsby's favor, but I don't think it will. mean, bottom of line is he bet on his own team when he was an active player. It's not allowed immediate disqualification. Now the catch is they're trying to get this case done in early June because the supplemental NFL draft is June 22nd. They haven't been able to enter into that. And for people that are listening to that that don't know what that is, it's an untelevised draft that is for players that thought they're going to be collegiate eligible for the upcoming season and something changed along the lines and they have this ability to enter into an untelevised kind of second NFL draft that the team can pick them up on. So he asked till June 22nd to get that. RAC Aaron: Yeah, kind of a last ditch effort draft. RAC Chandler: Exactly. RY4N: Yeah, um, I'm kind of surprised they would even want them after that. I, like you said, uh, I think if you bet on your own team immediately gone, you know, Pete Rose can't do it. I know you used that example to me the other day. Nobody can do it. And he was also been a weird, so like Ukrainian basketball, tennis and stuff. Yeah. RAC Chandler: you RAC Aaron: You RAC Chandler: Yeah, all kinds of weird stuff. RAC Aaron: It is in that like high risk category of like we said when we kind of first started breaking, because this is turning into a wild story, which it felt really open shut when we first started getting the news of like gambling allegations of season ending essentially. And then it feels like, okay, well, we'll hear the fallout from it that'll be it. But then I believe there was a counter suit. Then I, when it came down from his lawyer saying like, ⁓ well, the gambling was for team building and all of that. It is getting a little wild. And then, yeah, with the judge having to recuse himself, which in this case, I'm glad these things are coming out ahead of time. It's not post where this is precedent. This is going to be something that is setting prediction market type gambling for athletes, which I feel like is clear cut. It should absolutely be. You cannot bet. on the sport that you're participating in that. That's it. However further they wanted to find that or outside of it. There's a little bit of that vibe of insider trading when you were talking about that level of access, but we absolutely don't want to compromise that element of the game. So we'll see. I feel like we haven't even heard the last twist and turns of this. There'll be weeks further ahead of here where we're going to get some probably juicy information. RY4N: Yeah, it's pretty ali- ⁓ sorry. RAC Chandler: to make a joke out of it. But prize picks and hard rock and all these different companies, they have season projections of players already out for the upcoming season. So what happens to all those people that, you know, betting on Brendan Soresby to have overrun yards? My line is, I mean, obviously, I know they're probably gonna refund it, but you know, it's ironic that people probably have all these slips in already for his season yardages and stuff. you know, we should just get paid for that. RAC Aaron: Yeah. RY4N: Yeah, like you took the- Yeah, like you took the Jackson Arnold over last year. So, so that's good. Okay, well, I think Brendan Soarsby is taking the under there, so I'd probably trail him, um, on his own bet. And I think it is pretty hilarious. The whole thing with the antics like you're talking about with his lawyer. And I always saw those pictures. I see a picture of Brendan Soarsby with Shohei's- RAC Chandler: because of your biased self. you RY4N: translator guy and then I saw the picture of the mascot and the judge it's like which one of them are they talking about they're all just hilarious I love jokes you know it's funny people try to make light of the situation RAC Chandler: Crazy. I think Shohei's translator is the mascot. RAC Aaron: Yeah. RY4N: Ooh, now we're onto something. You know, I saw Eclipse, I think the next one I'm going to call now, John Matier. I kept seeing things last year of like Fidmo requests, like sports vetting from John Matier. RAC Chandler: Yeah RAC Aaron: You RY4N: He's next. Investigate him. RAC Aaron: with it. RAC Chandler: And the next big news, Edo, former LSU coach is being hired back on LSU's staff and his title is special assistant to recruiting and defensive analysis. So based off of reports that are like the inside 24 seven guys or that are behind the curtain of LSU, I guess His role is going to be an on the road recruiter since they changed the change the rule in 2024, allowing a certain amount of coaches. think it's 10 or 12 now that it could be on the road at the time. So he's going to be listed as one of those road coaches that can go on the road to recruit. And he was super good for recruiting in state and Louisiana. So it's labeled in the LSU report that they're bringing back his bread and butter of recruiting to Louisiana to get him involved in that. RAC Aaron: Fantastic. RAC Chandler: And then obviously be a defensive analyst as well for them, but he's a off-field guy is what it's listed as But I'm sure he's gonna be a part of all kinds of different stuff RY4N: love it. He's the heart and soul of LSU culture, Louisiana culture. I think it's super good. ⁓ and him and Lane Kiffin go back. They have a lot of experience coaching together. I think it's super funny. I saw a thing that Lane Kiffin was talking about that he went and saw the tiger at LSU one time and that he was, they were like, ⁓ do you have relationship with him? And then he was saying that Ed Ogeron probably thinks he has a relationship with the tiger. And if you, if you ask him if the tiger knows that he's, he would say yes. RAC Chandler: you RAC Aaron: You RY4N: And I think that's hilarious. think I love it. I think he's hilarious. He was like down here. People see him running stuff. RAC Chandler: Yeah, he's a- RAC Aaron: ⁓ it is hard to find somebody that fits the culture of their school better than Ed ⁓ like he was just and to me, this is one of those things where you can feel however you want about Lane Kiffin's antics, the way he's handling social media. I think all of these things are great for the LSU fandom. This all feels very much like LSU core. Bringing on Ed ⁓ RY4N: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. RAC Chandler: Perfect. He's gonna kill it. RY4N: He will. RAC Aaron: might be one of the all time LSU moves I could imagine. Just bringing such a figure back into the program and then in a position that he is great at. Edo is a great recruiter and I think a lot of people might say nowadays in the discourse of like, does recruiting even matter anymore with the money? I think you get a guy like Edo who can go and sell you the program. It matters. And LSU got the money to back it up. And he knows the importance of capturing the state and getting that talent that comes out of it. So incredible. Like that is just something where it's great. RY4N: And I don't know what Edo's been up to, but out of anything in this world, he belongs in that LSU football facility. He was made for that place, you know? RAC Aaron: Oh yeah. Yeah. He, he feels like he's got an apartment in death Valley that he stays in 24 seven. RY4N: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. RAC Chandler: times. RAC Aaron: You RAC Chandler: So Ryan, know since last week we had the trivia game, I know you have something for us this week. RY4N: Yeah, you said winner has the trivia. Hosts? So I'm the host. Alright, how do I share my screen? How do I share my screen? RAC Chandler: Yeah, so what do you have for Aaron and I? Post Ryan, take it away. On the bottom, the bottom. RAC Aaron: Yeah, the winner has to get the new trivia host and the loser has to edit the episode apparently. RY4N: Is it screen? You see this? RAC Chandler: Not yet. RAC Aaron: Yep. There it is. Yeah. RY4N: Welcome to college football Jeopardy! I made a Jeopardy game! RAC Chandler: We're playing Jeopardy! This is incredible. Wait, hold on, pause. Who's editing this episode? RY4N: Can you see this and me right now? I am. RAC Chandler: ⁓ perfect. Too easy. Yeah, sounds good. RY4N: I thought, right? Okay, you can see me and the board right now. RAC Aaron: Yep, I got both. RAC Chandler: Can see you in the board. RY4N: Okay, cause it made mine small, cause I'm gonna have to run... run it here. Okay? Okay. RAC Chandler: Six, seven, triple P's. easy as... I mean, what are we doing? Yeah, you have to make sure you're audible for the audio listeners. RAC Aaron: That's true. RY4N: So the one thing... Yes, I will read everything off, audio listeners, don't get distressed. ⁓ The one thing is I don't know how I'm going to have y'all buzz me. RAC Chandler: Well, it's just like Jeopardy in real life. Whoever gets the first one right, they have priority for the next one. And then if they answer it wrong, the other person can answer it correctly. RY4N: Yeah, but to start it, they have the buzzers. RAC Chandler: Well, let's just yell it out. What does yell it out? RAC Aaron: Yeah, they do the bludgersties question. Yeah. RY4N: So y'all rock, paper, scissors, I guess, to start. Yes. RAC Chandler: see who goes first. All right, wait, do the think of a number one through 10 and whoever's closest. RAC Aaron: Yep, and then we'll do it. We'll do it. RY4N: Oooooh, okay. Ummm, I have a number 1 through 17. RAC Aaron: Yeah. RY4N: Alright, I'm gonna count down from three, y'all say it at the same time, okay? Three, two, one. RAC Aaron: Alright. Seventeen. RY4N: ⁓ it was 15. Aaron gets to go first. RAC Chandler: Okay. RAC Aaron: ⁓ that's not a good option for me. I don't know the rules. Okay. ⁓ let's do SEC excellence for a hundred. RY4N: Alright, Ian, what are we choosing? Okay, SEC excellence for a hundred. ⁓ no, how do I make this smaller? ⁓ how do I make this ⁓ Okay, we're good, good. Okay. What SEC team became infamous for having more players arrested than passing touchdowns during one off season? RAC Chandler: Look at the animation and everything. RAC Aaron: Now, this is the 100 question and I feel like I'm going to go with Georgia here. RAC Chandler: No, what is, say what is first. Come on. There we go. RAC Aaron: What is Georgia? RY4N: The answer is Georgia or you could have said the Athens-Carte County Police Department Farm System So I'm gonna give Aaron 100 points Aaron, okay RAC Aaron: You Yeah So I think George has figured out the secret to like reverse NIL. Like they get the students to come there. RY4N: Mm-hmm. RAC Chandler: Their NIL boosters fund their bail bond incentive and funds too. RAC Aaron: Yeah. gives him. Okay. RAC Chandler: What do we have to be careful about? RY4N: ⁓ cause if y'all try to gesture to me, I can't see you. RAC Chandler: Don't worry. RY4N: Okay, well, so Aaron, do you go again, I guess? RAC Chandler: Yes, yes. Whoever wins keeps going, yeah. RAC Aaron: Yeah, we'll just we'll go till the wrong answer is steel. Yeah. Let's do SEC excellence 200. RY4N: Okay, okay. Okay. What is Gus Malzahn's favorite restaurant? RAC Chandler: ⁓ This is so nitpicky. RAC Aaron: ⁓ this is, this is such a small one. Man, I'm going to probably do him dirty here in gate with a broad guess because I have no idea. So what is McDonald's? RY4N: Alright Chandler, would you like to answer? RAC Aaron: Yeah. RAC Chandler: ⁓ I think it's at or around Tumor's Corner, but I don't know the name of said restaurant. Because I'm not, I'm no Auburn fan. RY4N: It's- it's countrywide if that helps y'all. just at Auburn. RAC Chandler: Hmm RY4N: What happens if y'all don't know? What happens if y'all don't know? RAC Chandler: then you just don't get any points and you go to the next one. RAC Aaron: If he does, if he doesn't answer, yeah, he doesn't lose points, but I lost points for getting it wrong. RAC Chandler: I don't think you lost points. We don't have to play like that. Yeah, This is a family friendly game show. Yeah, nope. RY4N: You lose- no I- yeah don't lose point. You're not playing like that. Alright, wh- what do wanna put- wanna put in a guess Chandler? Okay. The answer is... Any random Waffle House. RAC Aaron: Okay, cool. RAC Chandler: Aw, your dad's gonna be so mad at me for not knowing that. RAC Aaron: Well, I was. I was on the right train. RY4N: Waffle house he goes there every time they win Yeah RAC Chandler: I just, mm, yeah, that rings a bell now. It's easy for me to say that now, but I remember your dad telling me some kind of story about that. Okay, Aaron, you're up again. RY4N: Alright. RAC Aaron: Actually, since I got it wrong and you elected not to answer, we'll let you keep it. RAC Chandler: Okay, we're go 6-7 for 200. RY4N: 6 7 for 200. What country singer known for the he's from Texas song is an Auburn fan and attended Auburn University and I'll sing you the song. He's from Texas I can tell by the way he two steps around the room that's the song that this is referencing. RAC Chandler: ⁓ I mean, I'm gonna get blasted on this video. ⁓ RAC Aaron: Hahaha RAC Chandler: I RY4N: You said what? RAC Aaron: I, as we have talked about in the gym many times, not listen to country music. Almost every, it's six seven. RAC Chandler: Also, how does this have anything to do with 6.7? RY4N: Because, ⁓ 6-7 is from Skrilla, and Skrilla is a song by Kodak, so it's music stuff. RAC Chandler: so... or loop hold. I got nothing. RAC Aaron: Yeah, have absolutely no idea. I can't even name a country artist. RY4N: Yeah, sorry. Nothing? No? Nobody? We're vacating this answer? Alright, I'm gonna reveal it. The answer is Ella Langley. RAC Aaron: is what this one goes. RY4N: No- Have we heard that song though? You know what talking about? Okay. RAC Chandler: I have heard this song, but I don't, I'm not a name guy. Golly, this is bad. This is bad for the brand, Aaron. RY4N: Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. RAC Aaron: This is a listen as the champion loser in trivia for this show. RAC Chandler: Listen, we're three questions in and it's 100 to 0. Yeah, I knew this was going to happen because you're the most nitpicky things ever. RY4N: Okay, they are pretty nitpicked. They're pretty nitpicked. That was one of the hardest ones. Those were the hardest ones. RAC Aaron: Yep, yep, yep. people up. But Chandler to our credit, out of those three questions to were Auburn centric. So RAC Chandler: Yeah. Also, mine was guessing logos off some super easy picture. And this is we're going inside the Auburn alumni base to be able to find the answers. RY4N: Okay, okay. RAC Aaron: Now I, I do love this though. Yeah. RY4N: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I thought you would like this. I'm sorry. I put a lot of effort into this RAC Aaron: I do. really, I think this is amazing. RAC Chandler: No, no, it's good. You told me earlier it was very holistic on college football. We've gone two for three on people that only Auburn fans would know. RAC Aaron: You RY4N: Well, no, you asked me if it's a random stuff, ⁓ if it's current football, and I was trying to like tell you it's just random stuff without telling I was like, it's just about everything. RAC Aaron: Hahaha RAC Chandler: Sorry, yeah, I'm not in Gus Malzahn's inner circle. It's on me. RY4N: Gusmo's on coached at multiple places. You know? Okay, so I guess Aaron, you're up since Chandler didn't answer that one. RAC Aaron: Okay. Let's do a triple P for 300. RAC Chandler: Yeah RY4N: Okay, for 300 he said? Alright, triple P for 300. Pastures, playoffs, and something else that I forgot. ⁓ and presidents. Presidents, pastures, and playoffs. RAC Chandler: What does Triple P stand for? RAC Aaron: 300. RAC Chandler: like RY4N: Yeah, okay. After Ohio State won the national championship, what did Donald Trump tell Jeremiah Smith at the White House? RAC Chandler: ⁓ I know this one. RAC Aaron: There's part of me that knows this answer deep in the recesses back there, but it's not coming up. So I'm going to go ahead and pass it over and give 300 points to Chandler. RY4N: Okay, Chandler? RAC Chandler: Where's Jeremiah Smith at? ⁓ You're gonna be so rich. RY4N: Yes, the answer was, ⁓ he's gonna be so rich. ⁓ that's 300 for Chandler. I'm very sorry, I guess that was a little nitpicked Chandler there. I'm sorry, Aaron. RAC Chandler: Yeah, I mean these are very team specific so far, three for four. RAC Aaron: No, hey. ⁓ That's, that's on me for going to the unknown zone of triple B. RAC Chandler: The triple P zone, ⁓ yeah. I guess we're gonna get some, like, what are we gonna get, like, what brand of cattle does, does, like, Edo like? RY4N: Yeah, going to the Triple P section. Angus, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. ⁓ that'd be good. Alright, Alright Chandler, would you like to- RAC Aaron: Yeah RAC Chandler: ⁓ built different for a nice cool 200 RAC Aaron: you RY4N: 200 built different. How much does push push hurts, Jalen hurts, squat? RAC Chandler: Mmm. 600? RY4N: The answer is 600! Great job, that's... 200 more for Chandler. RAC Chandler: AHHEM! RAC Aaron: Woo, that was going to be my guess too. RAC Chandler: I was between 550 and 600. A fun fact for all the viewers out there, Ryan also squats 600 pounds. Actually, no joke, no joke, seen it with my own two eyes, Aaron too. RAC Aaron: Yeah, I was playing around and like something around there. RY4N: Mmm, allegedly. Allegedly. RAC Aaron: It's impressive. RY4N: Thank you. ⁓ RAC Aaron: and viewers and listeners out there, I can't. ⁓ RAC Chandler: And then he wakes up. Okay, ⁓ Committee corruption for 100. RY4N: Yeah, yeah. Okay, committee corruption for a hundred. How did USC receiver Makai Lemon supposedly win the Balitnikov if Jeremiah Smith won Big Ten Receiver of the Year? RAC Chandler: Trick question. RAC Aaron: You RY4N: No. Pretty straightforward. RAC Chandler: I don't know great question. He wasn't the best big 10 receiver then didn't have won it But if the other if the runner-up was a victim receiver RAC Aaron: You RAC Chandler: Is the answer I don't know because the committee sucks. RY4N: The answer is not, I don't know. RAC Aaron: Is it? The committee was corrupt. RY4N: Sort of, yes. ⁓ They fear Jeremiah Smith was becoming too powerful, so yes. Corruption. RAC Aaron: It's, it's fair. RAC Chandler: When the world can answer that? RY4N: Great job, Aaron. Great job, Aaron. Alright, Aaron, would you like to go for the next one? RAC Aaron: You Okay, let's do built differs for 400. ⁓ RAC Chandler: This is... What a disaster this is. RY4N: Okay, okay, I apologize. That's the only one like that on this entire board. I'm really sorry. I'm really sorry. Okay, so... Well, no, the other one was hard. That was the only one that's like, just like, kinda... RAC Chandler: You've said that twice now about two separate ones. RAC Aaron: You RAC Chandler: ⁓ this is great. I like this. RAC Aaron: No, this is, this is, this is fun. So, built different 400. RAC Chandler: you RY4N: Okay, okay, I'm sorry. Okay, 400. You said 400, not 4800, right? Okay, built different. 400, okay. What video game is Kyler Murray consistently accused of caring about more than football? RAC Aaron: Yeah, 400. We're right. ⁓ that's gotta be call of duty. Cause you got to check his stats on double XP weekend. RY4N: Call of Duty! Wonderful answer, Aaron. That's 400 more. You just increased the lead from 500 Chandler to 600 Aaron. RAC Aaron: Let's go. Let's keep on and go built different 500. This is where my hubris gets me. RAC Chandler: Woo, first 500. RY4N: Okay. All right. How fast was former Alabama recie- Okay, wait. have to- can't laugh. I have to play for the audio listeners. How fast was former Alabama receiver Henry Ruggs driving to become the fastest college football player ever when he was arrested for speeding? The closest answer wins. But you get first dibs. RAC Chandler: hahahahah ⁓ RAC Aaron: You All right. I'll throw my, I'll go. Yep. I'll go 127. RY4N: Okay, ⁓ and how would this be- Okay, how would this be fair? Because Aaron has dibs that he gets to go, but Chandler cannot- You know what saying? Okay. RAC Chandler: I was gonna go 130. RAC Aaron: Whoever's closest. I think this is an open one if I had the chance to it right on it RAC Chandler: 130. RY4N: Alright, the answer is 156 miles an hour. RAC Aaron: That is bad. RY4N: I apologize, oh, that is 500 more for Chandler, so it's now a thousand Chandler to 600 Aaron. RAC Aaron: it RAC Chandler: That's incredible. RAC Aaron: Oh, that is fast. That is. RY4N: That is incredible. RAC Chandler: car can't even get up to 156. RY4N: Yeah. RAC Chandler: I governed at 124. Let's go SEC Excellence for 300. Let's tap into the SEC field here. RAC Aaron: Yeah. RY4N: Yeah RAC Aaron: ⁓ RY4N: Alright, SCC at- Alright, SEC Excellence 300. In the blind side, the movie, where does Ed Ogeron say his- ⁓ this is supposed say his favorite barbecue. Where did his favorite barbecue come from? RAC Chandler: I I've seen this movie, I don't know, 30 times. And I don't know. Apparently I haven't seen the movie. Aaron. RY4N: You wanna take a guess? RAC Aaron: I will say, I'm gonna guess Louisiana. RY4N: Louisiana's not the answer Aaron D or chamber do you actually want to try to say it or are we washing this because you don't lose points? RAC Chandler: Now you're good. RY4N: You're not gonna try? RAC Aaron: you RAC Chandler: No, you're good, but what is it? RY4N: Can I give you both a hint? And then someone told me the answer. He coached at Ole Miss during this time. RAC Aaron: Yeah, go. RY4N: if that helps. RAC Chandler: to answer. RY4N: Gas stations in Mississippi. RAC Aaron: I have no memory of this. Hey, no, that was a good, I should have, that's in my territory. RAC Chandler: dope. RY4N: I'm sorry. I really thought when you were gonna get that. He says that you'll go to Mississippi and get the best barbecue you've ever had from a gas station. Alright, I apologize. So who's up? Did you do that one Chandler? Alright, Aaron. RAC Aaron: So I'll do SEC Excellence 400. RY4N: Okay, 400 SCXs. Why did Calvin Johnson, Megatron, like Georgia Tech more than Georgia on his recruiting visits? RAC Aaron: Mmm. I nothing here. ⁓ RAC Chandler: I have no idea. RY4N: No, okay, sorry. RAC Aaron: These now I will say this is like good college football trivia. If you were doing like a trivia night. Yeah. Now I'm like, you know, maybe podcasting equipment is getting too cheap. Yeah. No, Do you have a hint that you throw out? Let's have any idea. RAC Chandler: These are so nitpicked. RY4N: I'm so sorry. That's why this is 400 points, though. RAC Chandler: The it is and I feel like I don't know anything about college football actually Maybe we don't we really shouldn't have a podcast. I don't think yeah RY4N: so sorry. Not really. It's like just like a three sentence answer. Y'all wanna try at all? RAC Aaron: Hahaha RAC Chandler: Because he liked the women more at Georgia Tech, they were more sophisticated. RY4N: No, no, but I like the effort there. RAC Aaron: That they have less speeding enforcement. don't No, this is a good one. RY4N: That's close, I apologize for this one, I guess that's a wash. ⁓ Georgia dropped him in the middle of nowhere apparently, and took him clubbing. But Georgia Tech paired him up with the starting Corbyn, they had a great time, he said he had his first experience with cannabis there, and he really liked it. And he didn't like how the Georgia one was so informal. RAC Chandler: Let me ask you question. When you were writing all these down, did you know the answers to all these? RY4N: Yes. I've sold that interview before. That's what I said there. I really apologize. RAC Chandler: No, no, you're good. I mean, this is a... RAC Aaron: No, no, this is, this is like I said, it's great trivia. ⁓ RAC Chandler: I have to just cut this whole part. RY4N: It's good, y'all start getting some. You've picked like the hardest ones so far. I'm not kidding. I'm not kidding. Okay. RAC Chandler: Hmm Yeah, only half of them. RAC Aaron: So channeling you're up now. RAC Chandler: Alright, we're gonna go triple P for 100. RY4N: Triple B for 100! Okay, what Bible verse was on the sign shown behind both of the Miss Field goals in Ohio State's playoff? RAC Aaron: Pipple P. RY4N: There was a bright neon green sign behind both of the videos that said the same thing. RAC Aaron: Chandler's too traumatized to have internalized the background. He couldn't see the signs with the tears in his eyes. I'll hazard a guess at the John 316 classic. RAC Chandler: I have no idea. RY4N: ⁓ The answer is John 3.16. I'll give you one bonus point if you know it off the top of your head. RAC Chandler: one singular point. RY4N: Okay, one point. Okay, that was a great answer though. 100 more for Aaron. That brings the score to 1000 Chandler to 700 Aaron. Aaron, where are you going here? RAC Aaron: It is, it is really good. don't lose points because we would be so far in the negative. Yeah. ⁓ let's go. Let's keep up. Triple P 200. RAC Chandler: We'd, I think we'd both be negative. This is good, this is good. A lot of points, we need to stop getting points so fast here. RAC Aaron: Yeah dizzying. RY4N: I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry. All right, who's? RAC Chandler: This is like the most non-general football questions ever. I think you don't know what the term general means. RAC Aaron: I mean, they are general football questions. Cause then he went to the Canadian football league. RAC Chandler: Pretty close to Hawaii. RY4N: Yeah, yeah, Also, is this still presenting well on your screen? You can still see it good? Okay, okay, RAC Aaron: Yeah, yeah, no, it's, it's working fine. Yeah. RAC Chandler: Your points are glitched though, they're not going up at all. RY4N: The answer is not Arkansas Chandler, which you like to blindly guess. RAC Chandler: Virginia Tech. RY4N: It is not. The answer is Auburn University. RAC Aaron: You know what? We should have known. We should have known Chandler. That is on us. RY4N: I thought y'all would know... I thought y'all would know to say it, at least. I'm sorry. RAC Chandler: That's on us. That's on us. That's on us. What's on us? Ryan has to go that far back in the archives to be able to get an upset victory, you know, for Auburn. RAC Aaron: Did Auburn move to Arkansas that year? RY4N: Alright. We haven't played in a while. We haven't played for a- sorry. We were on the Tim Tebow train. I threw another one in there. ⁓ did you pick that one? My, in my century. RY4N: Yeah, he coached at Auburn, Auburn, Georgia Tech, or the early 1900s, something like that. He coached at Auburn, Georgia Tech, and maybe, maybe Clemson, but they don't count. RAC Chandler: 18. RAC Aaron: Yeah RAC Chandler: Yeah, perfect. Yeah, that's my bad for not knowing that. RAC Aaron: If you don't know the answer, it's Auburn. Let's go. Let's go. I feel like this is probably another one of those big ones though. RAC Chandler: Mm. RAC Aaron: Let's see. Well, when in doubt, guess often we'll say Gus mouth's on just cause I think that's a funny answer. RY4N: It was not Gus was on he was not rapping to get that guy at Waffle House RAC Chandler: It's not Gus. RAC Aaron: It would have been wonderful. Yeah. RAC Chandler: He said they're get the ga- RY4N: That's a great that's a great guess for my game RAC Aaron: I wanted it to be true. Yeah. RAC Chandler: Is it not LSU? RY4N: I can't tell you that. RY4N: Okay. The answer's at O. RAC Chandler: Yeah. RAC Aaron: That's beautiful. I didn't know that. RY4N: Great job, and that's great ball knowledge! That's wonderful knowledge there too, from Chandler Extra explaining there. RAC Chandler: Just useless knowledge. I'd rather know where John Heisman coached than know that the LSU basketball team danced with one of the people from the White House in the Oval Office. RAC Aaron: Hey, that is the recruiting points that Edo is bringing back to LSU. He's bringing those 10 points. RAC Chandler: Exactly. Ten, ten recruiting points. Woohoo! RY4N: It is, and I wish I could say... Yeah, and I wish I could have said this during our intro thing. My eyes lit up when we were talking about them recruiting. I was like, I have that on my board! RAC Chandler: Georgia fits the criteria. RY4N: It is not Georgia, but the good answer. RAC Aaron: It's it. I'm going to go with the rules of this game and go Auburn. ⁓ RAC Chandler: Not Auburn. Can't be. I was gonna guess LSU after that. RY4N: It is not Auburn. ⁓ also... It is LSU. I, ⁓ I guess I was on a train, would like pick an LSU and do another LSU one, I would do Auburn, do another Hopper one. RAC Aaron: And ⁓ got to you this week. You saw that news and it brought you in the Louisa. RY4N: Yes. Yes. RAC Chandler: Sorry, you might have to cut the, if it's the criteria for the Georgia one. RY4N: You're good, you're good. ⁓ so is that- we're calling that a wash though, right? Okay, okay. ⁓ so Aaron. RAC Aaron: Yeah So six, seven for a hundred. Let's close this one out. I don't think we've gotten any of these. RY4N: Closing... Yes, closing 6-7 for 100. What is John Gruden's favorite song? There are two acceptable answers for this one. RAC Aaron: Yeah. RY4N: Yes. Alright, listeners, the lead has cut. Chandler has 1900, Aaron has 1400. Alright, Aaron, what's next? RAC Aaron: I feel like I shouldn't have that many, but it's crazy that it's still close. Triple P for 400. RY4N: Triple P for 400. Alright. What did Trump reportedly tell Justin Jefferson during LSU's White House visit? RAC Chandler: back to the pasture. RAC Aaron: He said that Jeremiah love he's going to be rich. RAC Chandler: Jeremiah Love. RY4N: Okay, it was Jeremiah Smith, but he did say he's gonna be so rich That was wonderful job Aaron. Alright, the lead is cut to 100 points 1900, 200, 1800, Aaron RAC Aaron: I have no idea. ⁓ hey, that was a good. Uh, let's go triple V for 500. This section's taught treating me well. RY4N: Alright, this is huge, okay. What school claimed the 2017 national championship after beating Auburn in a bowl game because Auburn had already beaten both number one Alabama and number one Georgia that year? RAC Chandler: It doesn't say those numbers though for the viewers, he just wanted to emphasize the fact that they were number one at one time during the season. RY4N: But they were, and this is why, and this, but this is why they think they can claim this. RAC Aaron: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I did that in. So. So we're going to go ahead and say Alabama. RY4N: It was not Alabama. RAC Aaron: What is Alabama? It wasn't Alabama. ⁓ that was right. was 2016, right? That you had the Alabama lost to. RY4N: No, this is the same year. This is why Alabama got in. So Auburn went to a bowl game instead and lost. So this team claimed the national championship. Do you have a guess? RAC Chandler: definitely should know this. ⁓ RAC Aaron: I think I know it after you guess if you don't get it right. RAC Chandler: Is it Auburn? RY4N: Yes, Auburn beat Auburn. I claim the interview. RAC Aaron: Could be offered. No is, is. RAC Chandler: Wait, ⁓ I read that wrong. RAC Aaron: It, uh, my guess would be 20. this because I'm not sure what the question's asking. It's. RAC Chandler: See you at Auburn. RY4N: Okay, okay, There was a school that beat Auburn in their bowl game. So after the season, they played Auburn in a bowl game, they beat Auburn, and since they beat Auburn, they claimed the national championship that year. RAC Aaron: Okay, so this was the team that beat Auburn in the bowl game in 2017 is what the question is asking. And I have, yeah, so it's not Auburn. ⁓ RY4N: Yes, yes. So it's not, yeah, so we can just guess that too. Who beat Auburn that year in the bowl game? RAC Chandler: It's not Auburn. RAC Aaron: Oh, I have that's a, don't know question. Um, let's guess. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to call, I'm going to call Ryan. Uh, he knows. Yeah. This is a 500 point question. I'm going to go. Yeah. Um, I'm going to throw out Tennessee. I got it wrong to begin with. So this is just for. RAC Chandler: Can I phone a friend? RY4N: ⁓ Wh- ⁓ who? This is a- RAC Chandler: call your dad, put him on the mic. RY4N: This is a 500 point question. We're gonna allow a call? Are we serious? RAC Chandler: I can't even call my phone. RY4N: It is not. RAC Aaron: for bragging rights, ⁓ RAC Chandler: I mean, do I not, why can't I think back to what this is? RAC Aaron: I, this one. RY4N: It's kind of niche, but it was a big deal. RAC Aaron: for Auburn fans. RY4N: They had that team with the guy that only had one hand. RAC Chandler: Ha ⁓ the linemen? RY4N: He was a quarter. RAC Chandler: corner. RY4N: ⁓ are we calling this a wash? RAC Chandler: Yeah, probably. RAC Aaron: I don't have it. I could guess teams. We got it. But I think I blew my shot. RY4N: Alright, I'm sorry. Alright, well it was UCF which Gus Mozon further went on to coach there. RAC Chandler: I was gonna say that I was gonna say that because that was the year Kayla Brussels was there ⁓ that was, was, I thought about that and I was like, it's not UCF. They don't have a national championship. RY4N: sorry. RAC Aaron: I, my brain legitimately shut off for that whole, like I couldn't know it was. Yeah. Yeah. It is something where it's like, I was like, ⁓ the national championship winners that year. And I was like, we talked about Alabama beating Auburn. And I just like, couldn't, I, my brain was in a rough spot. So Chandler Europe. RY4N: They don't. RAC Chandler: I, it's so easy for me to say that, but I really did think UCF. RY4N: so sorry. RAC Chandler: And I said Auburn. you RY4N: I phrased it really bad, I phrased it really bad, but I also feel like I've told you all this a million times, so I'm really sorry. Alright, Chambers picking Kermini Corruption for 400. What school says they win the Recruiting National Championship every February before going 8-4? RAC Chandler: Committee corruption for 400. Let's seal the deal here. Deal it. the recruiting national championship, like they win the off season. RY4N: They say they win that and they put up a banner. RAC Aaron: ⁓ there's a few schools that this could be. ⁓ I got three off the top of my head. RAC Chandler: Okay. Let's think who. There's no way this is Auburn, right? RY4N: No it's not Auburn. We can't get waiting for her. Just kidding. ⁓ RAC Aaron: No, this is a derogatory question. Yeah, you haven't for years. RAC Chandler: Okay, so let's just name off of teams that can't win 8 games. It's not Mississippi State, it's not Auburn. RY4N: Wait, stop, stop, stop. You're saying too many. You get one answer. RAC Chandler: I'm eliminating. I'm naming teams that cannot win eight games. ⁓ Not Florida. RAC Aaron: He was eliminating options. ⁓ RY4N: ⁓ okay. Okay, okay. I will say this team did win more than eight games last year. That is y'all's hint. RAC Aaron: Arkansas. RAC Chandler: Okay, Alabama, not Georgia. Not Missouri. Gotta be a top recruiting team though. I don't think it's USC. think it's Oregon. It's gotta be one of those teams though, they're the only teams that are up there recruiting every year. RY4N: I don't know how well they actually do, I just know that they say they win the recruiting national champion. RAC Aaron: they I think I think I got this just to put more Chandler or more pressure on Chandler. I think I know RY4N: I think Aaron does have this. RAC Chandler: So they're not actually like a top five recruit class. Like they just think they win it. RY4N: They do well. They do well, but I think Aaron knows this one. So you better, ⁓ RAC Aaron: They have been. You got one chance. RY4N: Better get this. RAC Aaron: I might be just full of it here. This might be one where I say something, Ryan goes, well. RY4N: Alright, come on Chandler. RAC Chandler: Ugh. I USC. RY4N: You gotta get. It's not USC, Aaron, do you actually know it? RAC Aaron: Is this Texas A ⁓ RY4N: It is Texas City. That's very good, Aaron. RAC Aaron: They are a famous 8-in-4 team. RAC Chandler: There's no way they say they win recruiting every year. They don't have a top recruiting class, ever. They don't, currently. RY4N: Yes. RAC Aaron: They have, they had, they always say they do. RY4N: They always, they say it, they say it often and they always put up a banner. They put up a banner that says they won the, they don't, they don't. That's why it's so funny. RAC Chandler: They don't. RAC Aaron: They had the top recruiting class in Jimbo's last year, right? Was it, ⁓ 2024, 2023? RY4N: Yeah, something like that. RAC Aaron: They did have the top recruiting class and they tend to be up in the like top 10 most of the time. They're very good at recruiting. 2022. RY4N: Yes. Yes. Alright, well Aaron, would you like to go to next? You have increased the lead, you're up by 300 now, so there's only 500 points on the board left. RAC Chandler: 2022. Mmm. RAC Aaron: there's only 300 between us so... RAC Chandler: It's a good win there, Mr. Aaron, man. RAC Aaron: I'm going to committee corruption for 300. RY4N: There's a lot of room here. Alright, Committee Corruption 300. How many top 10 classes did Hugh Freeze have at Auburn in the three years he was there? RAC Aaron: ⁓ man. ⁓ This feels like a trick question. ⁓ this is very Auburn. ⁓ you know what? I'm going to say three. RY4N: It was not three. Taylor, do you know? RAC Aaron: You got a 50-50. RY4N: Tune. RAC Chandler: I know they had one. RY4N: Is that your answer? RAC Chandler: No. RAC Aaron: You RAC Chandler: I think they had two though. RY4N: Is that your answer? RAC Chandler: My answer's two. RY4N: The answer is two. RAC Aaron: it's tied. RY4N: It is tied, going into the last question! You cannot write a story better than this. Alright. RAC Chandler: you RAC Aaron: Good night. You could write a trivia section. You do. RAC Chandler: And I get the play at it too. RY4N: So Chandler, I guess the last one here you're gonna pick committee corruption for 200? RAC Chandler: I'm okay. RY4N: Okay, well you have to. Okay, Kamekroach in 200. ⁓ RAC Aaron: Yeah RY4N: It's not Auburn. I promise. RAC Chandler: Feels like such an Oregon thing to do. RY4N: It's not Oregon. Aaron, do you? RAC Chandler: I- that wasn't my answer, but okay. No, no, it's cool if you want to count that as my guess. ⁓ RAC Aaron: Yeah, that was, that was a working through it. I'll give that. RY4N: ⁓ okay, okay, okay. No, no, no, I'm sorry, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, ⁓ RAC Chandler: You can hear me. No, no, Eric. Like give, give Aaron a guess before that doesn't. RAC Aaron: Hahaha RY4N: Hahaha RAC Aaron: No, no, you go for a real one because you had the advantage on this one and I don't have an answer for this one. So mine's going to be a blind shot. RAC Chandler: So what happens if we tie? Was it gonna be a tiebreaker? You didn't think this one through there, Mr. Uh, Mr. Host? RY4N: ⁓ RAC Aaron: We'll do the time breaker next week. RY4N: these bonus points in there and no one got any of them. see if I have an extra one here. At what point would he got you a win? ⁓ RAC Aaron: Yeah, that one point would have been. RAC Chandler: I mean I know John 316 but we can't say it now. ⁓ RAC Aaron: Yeah. RY4N: ⁓ yeah. RAC Aaron: Like for listeners out there, looks like Ryan is frantically looking up for another bit off to the side. RY4N: No, no, no, I'm making sure... RAC Chandler: Also, this has been 53 minutes of trivia. This is gonna be... RAC Aaron: That's insane. That's, we're cutting this down. RAC Chandler: I think we could just make this whole episode. RY4N: I put all these on there. RAC Aaron: Yeah. This, this pretty much is a whole episode at this point. Yeah. Save coaches for the hot seat next week. It's a fun episode. It's off season. we need. Yeah. RAC Chandler: I mean we can just make this the whole episode if we want to. And we can just do the next one for the next one. Yeah. Yeah. We can. It is. It is. ⁓ And it'll be good for audio too because they can hear it. So it'll be fine. ⁓ RAC Aaron: So for the game, for all the marbles. RY4N: Oney, I'll please get this. I don't have another... question. I don't think this could happen! I'm not gonna lie. I... RAC Aaron: Dude! RAC Chandler: hahahaha RAC Aaron: You know, the way we started this game, I didn't either. ⁓ Can we get a hint? What? And I'm giving that up. RY4N: This might give it away. This might give it away. It's Big Ten. RAC Chandler: Okay, now let's think of running, people that can run. We have Ohio State. ⁓ RAC Aaron: We can run. RAC Chandler: of Oregon, which our host graciously said it wasn't Oregon. RY4N: ⁓ RAC Aaron: and RY4N: Got me. We gotta think of teams with mascots here too. Famous mascots because not all the ti- yeah, that's what sayin'. Yeah. RAC Chandler: That's what I'm saying, who can run? RAC Aaron: Yeah. So yeah, pin that's one who can run. ⁓ RAC Chandler: Ooh, that's a good one. RAC Aaron: Then we got... RAC Chandler: Wisconsin. RAC Aaron: Wisconsin. My heart's torn between Penn and Wisconsin, ⁓ but I feel like if it was Wisconsin... RAC Chandler: That's just not a big enough school, if you like, have that happen, Penn State, to me, feels like that's a good fit for the mascot tacklage. ⁓ RAC Aaron: It does. There's something in my heart that feels like it's good. Penn State fans. Sorry about that. That it feels that way, but it feels like the kind of place that could their mascot has a lot of energy. RAC Chandler: the O's. I guess my answer I think is gonna be the Penn State. RY4N: state. RAC Aaron: I'll go. It feels like it could have been. I feel like I'm going to go Wisconsin. That feels small. RY4N: It's not Wisconsin. Do we want to keep going? Or should we have a tiebreaker? I feel like it's getting unfair that we're narrowing them down here. RAC Chandler: We have to have a tiebreaker somehow. RAC Aaron: Yeah, we'll go to a tiebreaker. If this is the episode, we go to a tiebreaker. Wait, well first, what school? RAC Chandler: What's your tiebreaker? RY4N: Okay, yeah, let's go to the tiebreaker RAC Chandler: Alright, we're gonna cut and we're gonna go put on pads and we're gonna run board drills. RAC Aaron: Yeah. I'll go ahead and put my guess in for the tiebreaker before we get the answer to this question. And it's Aubrey. ⁓ RY4N: It's go, Oklahoma's. RAC Chandler: Auburn. RY4N: Okay, I will reveal the answer for this but the wash it's Ohio State Y'all gotta think I wrote this game, you know, it's gonna be RAC Chandler: Yeah, what is it? Really? RAC Aaron: I, you know, I thought it that like, that's what we were heading towards, but did. RAC Chandler: Am I a fake fan? I got two Ohio State ones wrong. RAC Aaron: I feel like that's a negative thing though. That's, that's the... RY4N: You're good. RAC Chandler: When did that happen? What year was that? RY4N: I don't know. I don't remember. RAC Chandler: What do mean? What do you mean, Game Boy? You're the one that wrote it? RAC Aaron: So listeners, you'll hear us come back in a few minutes after Ryan's had time to investigate a high breaker scenario. RY4N: Are you kidding me? RAC Chandler: 2010. ⁓ this was from Rufus. This was from the Ohio Bobcat one. Okay. Yeah. I remember that. I remember seeing clips of that. RAC Aaron: That was before Chandler was alive. RAC Chandler: They did the whole thing last year too, where they fought each other again. RY4N: Yeah. RAC Chandler: 2010, Yep, I'm a fake fan. I apologize guys. I just support them when they're winning. RAC Aaron: You know, I will, I will point out out of the board, no Mississippi State questions. RAC Chandler: hahahaha ⁓ RY4N: I'm sorry. I gave you a text saying ⁓ though. I thought you'd get that one you did. RAC Aaron: You know, for a school at the same level as OV, you'd think we'd have more representation. RAC Chandler: That's not the same. RY4N: Okay, I don't know- y'all can tell me if this is a bad question because Okay, I have a tiebreaker. I don't know how bad this is, okay? RAC Chandler: No, you're the host. Come on, Game Boy. This is your decision. This is how you're deciding this game. So you need to say it and be confident. RY4N: Alright. Who has the most passing yards in a game ever in college football? RAC Aaron: singular game RY4N: Yes, one game. RAC Aaron: You might want to start thinking about a second tiebreaker. ⁓ RY4N: Okay, let me pee real quick and I'll think about it. ⁓ I couldn't find one when I tried to look it up, so I resorted to this because I already know RAC Chandler: Did you know this before you Googled it? RY4N: Alright, let me pee, I'll think about it. RAC Aaron: the head. RAC Chandler: Dak Prescott. RAC Aaron: No, I can answer that one. RAC Chandler: I was just I was trying to give you some I was trying to think of Mississippi State famous quarterbacks And I was trying to give you some love ⁓ I mean, I don't know dude RAC Aaron: I'm Mississippi State love. Yeah. How many egg balls were won based off of a penalty from mock peeing in the end zone? That's a, that's our miss. He can hear you. But he can't see you. And you're studiously thinking. He was just, he was just thinking really hard. Yeah, I didn't, I didn't see any cheating. RY4N: I can hear him. I can hear him, what's he doing? You can't look it up! Aaron, you're gonna let him cheat? RAC Chandler: I'm not. RAC Aaron: He is staring directly into the webcam. RY4N: Look at that right now! Alright, I have a new one. If y'all don't get this. Yeah, you know it. You look at it. RAC Chandler: I have a really off the wall guess. RAC Aaron: ⁓ we gotta have guesses. Yeah RAC Chandler: don't even know who this is. RY4N: W-oh, not the answer. RAC Aaron: You RAC Chandler: It definitely- ⁓ I like up Season. Aw. RAC Aaron: Hahaha RY4N: audience RAC Aaron: Yep. This is a single game. You cheated poorly. RAC Chandler: Fun fact though, Dylan Gabriel is number two all time in season and career passing. That's crazy. RY4N: Yeah, I think he has the most passing touchdowns ever, right? In college? RAC Chandler: He has 18,700 passing yards in his collegiate career. That's incredible. RY4N: Yeah, but doesn't he have the record for passing touchdowns? RAC Chandler: I don't know man, and Timmy Chang from Hawaii has the number three spot. Okay, I don't know. ⁓ RY4N: I'm pretty sure Dylan Gable has the most touchdowns ever in college football. That's hilarious. RAC Chandler: Single season or single game. Can't even Google things right. RY4N: See you again. RAC Chandler: Aaron you guess first. have had one, two, three, four, five. One, two, three, four, five. You've had 25 niche ones. RY4N: I wish I had a weird niche one, but I wasted them all. I need one more. I need one more. RAC Aaron: single game. That's it's tough. I'm gonna go. I'm just gonna go with a tried and true here for quarterback. Yeah, I'm gonna go Joe burrow. RY4N: not Joe Burrow? And the answer is also not Robbie Ashford, if that was your next guess. RAC Aaron: X and R. RAC Chandler: DJ Stroud. RY4N: not see this showed should i come up with a new question? RAC Aaron: Yeah, now you gotta get a new one. This is your punishment now. This is your world to deal with. RAC Chandler: what how many yards of the passenger ferrets building RAC Aaron: Yeah. How many quarters are in a football game? RY4N: Nip, you're like, 15. RAC Chandler: Yeah, that's what I was expecting these trivia questions to be, not like, what is the middle two digits of Gus Malzahar's social security number? RAC Aaron: I will say Yeah, I far more prefer these questions. RAC Chandler: What kind of car did Gus Malzahn drive in high school going into his college freshman year? RAC Aaron: Gus Balzon feels like a BMW guy. RAC Chandler: I really like how you emphasize the W. RAC Aaron: Laughter RY4N: BMW. RAC Chandler: Alright Gameboy, what's the next tiebreaker? RAC Aaron: He's working on it. He's got it. He's got a good one that we're both going to get. RAC Chandler: What stadium was lit in fire in the third quarter only in the North End Zone bathroom by three toddlers? RY4N: I have. RAC Aaron: Hehehe. RY4N: I actually have a good one, I can't really give you a hint because then Chandler automatically gets it. But I'm not going to give you the hint, but I'll tell you after because it's a funny story. This is my question. RAC Chandler: funny story. RY4N: This is my quote. In 1986, in 1986, there was an unranked team who beat Auburn who was ranked number eight in an upset. ⁓ they rushed the field and began tearing up the grass at Auburn and they got hosed off the field by the grounds crew. RAC Aaron: Yeah. This is literally an E.T. RY4N: What team beat Auburn that year? RAC Aaron: know who's guessing first here. So ⁓ RY4N: I assumed it was you. RAC Aaron: So, ⁓ RAC Chandler: There's fireworks popping outside my house right now. They're a little early. RAC Aaron: This is, this I have no idea. So I'm going to guess if you know it, something that was done before I was born, it could be Alabama. RY4N: Dude, you gotta picture this, fireworks man, you living a rough part. It was not Alabama. That's a very good guess though coming from my game. RAC Chandler: FSU. RY4N: It's not FSU. Are we doing this on purpose? have to go over another question. RAC Chandler: you RAC Aaron: No. RAC Chandler: Ball State. RY4N: It was not both state. Is this a wash? RAC Aaron: I got you got a new question here RY4N: Do I have to come up with a new question? RAC Chandler: Georgia. RY4N: It was George R. We really gotta give that to him. RAC Aaron: Yes, we can end our suffering. No, I know we got to, we got to have a, we got to get one. got right. I, I, you've dragged us into this. We're going to keep you here with us. RY4N: Okay. Okay, I'm so sorry, Aaron. I was gonna say though... I was gonna say though... I believe the next year, 1987, my dad has that Hunker Down shirt, which was gonna be my hint. Yeah, it was after this game, I'm pretty sure they went up to Georgia and all got those and wore them, so it's pretty funny. RAC Chandler: hunker down on this hairy dog. I did actually know that was Georgia, but I said a third yes as a joke, but we can continue. RY4N: Are you kidding me? RAC Chandler: No, I, yes. Keep going, keep Keep going, yeah. RAC Aaron: It's back to Game Boy. RY4N: Dude. RAC Aaron: It's wild because RAC Chandler: Because I knew your dad had a shirt, but I didn't realize that was the shirt that... RAC Aaron: There's, there's a lot of questions you could answer or ask for like a tie break. And I feel like you're choosing violence for this. RAC Chandler: What is the main ingredient for the barbecue bacon burger at Duke's Hawaii? Mango barbecue sauce. RAC Aaron: What did Gus Malzahn order when he went to Duke's? RY4N: See, okay, the more- RAC Chandler: When Gus Malzahn was shopping at Old Navy in 1972 for his senior prom, what size trousers did he wear? RAC Aaron: Thanks RY4N: Alright, the more I ask questions, the worse like my coming up with questions are getting I feel like. I feel like it's getting watered down. I have a generic one. RAC Chandler: Here, I want you to do this. Google generic football questions for dummies. The first one that comes up, say it. RAC Aaron: Hahaha I, I, there's, there's part of me that's like, if he does that though, and then me and you get it wrong, it's devastating. If we get these wrong, that's fine. We don't know Auburn's history that well. No, we're good. We're ready. Gameboy, take it away. End our suffering. RAC Chandler: First day of a Spencer football game. RY4N: I have really generic one. ⁓ that's good. That's good. What section was- I'm just kidding. What section was I sitting at that game? ⁓ that's so good. ⁓ dude. ⁓ RAC Chandler: What section was my dad spinning me around in at the top of the stadium? RAC Aaron: What section were you being spun around? What was the first football game I attended at Auburn? RAC Chandler: What color pants did I wear in my fifth grade circus? RAC Aaron: When I first saw Gus mouths on what was he wearing? RY4N: sweater vest. RAC Aaron: An advisor. It's an easy one to get, I guess. All right, we're ready. RY4N: Alright, I have a good one, I have a good one. When I was at Tiger Walk one time, as a young child, this famous Auburn celebrity touched me on the shoulder as he was walking through Tiger Walk with security. Who was it? RAC Chandler: ⁓ my gosh. He's a young tiger. Poe Jackson. RY4N: was not budget. RAC Aaron: I feel like you've told this to us. RAC Chandler: Bobby. RY4N: It's not hobby. ⁓ RAC Chandler: Hey RY4N: You RAC Aaron: Because the answer is going to be weird, but I'm going to go ahead and just get a blanket statement out here and say Cadillac. RY4N: It was Charles Parkley. RAC Aaron: You told us that. I think on the show. RY4N: He always said he touched me when I was a kid because it sounds bad. ⁓ dude. RAC Chandler: Hey, can you come up with a good question for the tiebreaker? Is your dad in the room next to you right now? RY4N: He's not. ⁓ I have a good one. RAC Aaron: All right. All right. All right. The third third chance at a good one here. RY4N: 2010. When Auburn played Alabama, at Alabama, we had a huge comeback. ⁓ Who was the quarterback for Alabama that year? It was before A.J. McCarran and he is currently an announcer for a lot of the... It was Greg Vakroy. RAC Chandler: McElroy. RAC Aaron: our sufferings over jeopardy. is a. RY4N: I'm sorry, Aaron. I'm so sorry. RAC Aaron: I wouldn't have wanted this to go any other way. RY4N: I guess I'll one up the points here and Chandler won 2,201 to Aaron winning 2,200. And I will stop sharing my screen. RAC Chandler: That's an episode though. RAC Aaron: You're a Now I know we've, we've thrown a lot of stones at the game boy here. This was beautiful. This is it's, it is insane. I am going to preface that and say, this is like watching to me, a Mississippi state season. You didn't know what you were going to get. It wasn't what you expected, but there were some highs and there were some lows. RY4N: Thank you. You RAC Chandler: I'm going to go ahead and say that I'm ashamed of myself for the way I performed on this game and to get two Ohio State questions wrong, it doesn't sit right with me, you know? RAC Aaron: I got every single question about Mississippi State. Correct. Didn't miss a single one. RY4N: Mm-hmm. And take a seat in. RAC Aaron: And texting him. RY4N: I put him in there for you. I knew you were get that. Because I gave him- I thought I gave him a softball high state question, so I gave you a softball. But it wasn't even that much of a softball and you still got it. I apologize. I didn't really know where to go from the last week. So I just thought this would be really fun. I kind of picked the most- I kind of picked the most niche-ificed things I could think of. I couldn't find a way to get like clavicular in there. Um, I think this is a close second. RAC Aaron: That's all. No. RAC Chandler: It was fun. RAC Aaron: It was. RAC Chandler: Yeah, I think we need to rework the phrase of ⁓ general college football questions. RAC Aaron: Yeah, that we have to save. Yeah. Yeah, I think we got to save Cullovicular for when you have the general college football selection. Mr. Beast and things old men like me don't know you can have that as the name of the the what are we calling this the Jeopardy? What's a college football pun for Jeopardy? RY4N: Yeah. RAC Chandler: Wreck proves that they know nothing about college football. That'll be the title. Yep. RAC Aaron: the name of the episode. RY4N: Well, we still have time, are we doing the coaches or? Okay, I'm really sorry. RAC Chandler: No, that's a good episode. RAC Aaron: Nope, we are. No, no, no. It's off season. We need episodes in the bag. RAC Chandler: No, burn that extra as an extra episode. There we go. RAC Aaron: So for all of you that listened to us play a weird version of Jeopardy. Thank you. Join us next week as we talk about coaches in the hot seat. And you know what? We were each going to bring one this week with that. Hopefully we have enough football news that nobody has to do trivia Chandler. ⁓ but if so, we'll bring two coaches to the hot seat. So thank you for checking in. Thank you for listening, Ryan. Thank you for being the game boy. Thank you for. RY4N: you RAC Chandler: Yeah. RY4N: Yeah, I'm really sorry. Alright, Chandler? Chandler has now ⁓ been initiated for next week's Game Boy, I guess. Are we still doing that, Winner Stays? Or next time we do it. RAC Aaron: making this for us. Gameboy Ryan. RAC Chandler: The Game Boy. Yeah, yeah, so now we're just gonna play how long can Aaron not host. RAC Aaron: Yeah. For next, next trivia. I think I might start my betting career. I'm going to open up the sports app, get Cal she going, put some money down on, uh, whoever I'm going against each week and save myself, uh, the mid week thinking of what trivia I have to come up with. So, um, it's the way I'm going to soothe myself for losing every time they, didn't lose. chose to, but. RY4N: K. Britton Sorsi. It's a smart method. It's a smart method. You know? RAC Aaron: Thank you once again, all for tuning in and putting up with our lack of knowledge of Gus Malzahn and his favorite places and all of these things related to college football. Hopefully next week, me and Chandler will learn a bit more. As I said, we're coming back. Coach is in the hot seat. Until then, follow us on all the social media platforms. Open up the link tree in the description of the episode. Make sure, leave us a comment on whatever shorts come out of this. I'm sure there'll be some wild ones. We appreciate it. RY4N: Alright, bye bye.
