- 0:00So, should the Maryland man have been deported?
- 0:04Back to El Salvador. My name is Brandon Vogel. This is Evolution.
- 0:08We're going to dive into this. It's been kind of crazy to me how much attention
- 0:13this event has happened.
- 0:16It's getting everyone's eyes to look at it, and depending on whatever political
- 0:22part of the spectrum you are on, it's easy to come into it if you don't know
- 0:27the situation to already have a bias or a prejudice about it.
- 0:31And should this man have been deported, and they keep calling him the Maryland
- 0:36man, is that an accurate depiction of who he is?
- 0:40Kilmar Albrego Garcia, known as the Maryland man at this time,
- 0:45was deported back to El Salvador.
- 0:48But now he's in prison. He's in prison over there.
- 0:52And it has to do with he is a MS-13 gang member.
- 0:59That is the argument.
- 1:01And a lot of people don't realize that he actually was in this country illegally.
- 1:06He did not come through the proper process. And a lot of people just hear about
- 1:12this man. And it does seem heart-wrenching and heartbreaking because he had a family.
- 1:17He had, you know, a wife, he had children and he's now he's overseas and he's
- 1:22been disappeared, you know, but it's, is it really what is happening?
- 1:29Is that the real true story of what is actually happening?
- 1:32To me, it's, it is not, you know, we, I want to come to things as much as I
- 1:38can unbiased, but based on all the evidence that has been put forward.
- 1:42He was, just as anybody else, he came into the country illegally and he had
- 1:47affiliations with MS-13.
- 1:51So I don't know, I don't understand why people on the left have decided to,
- 1:57this is their side's battle cry, that he is a pinpoint depiction of what the
- 2:05Trump administration is doing and could do to you.
- 2:09So everybody's in jeopardy. I don't, how this is all going to play out,
- 2:13I don't think Trump and his team are going to budge at all. And I believe they
- 2:18were in the right to do what they did.
- 2:20They're trying to do what the American people elected him to do,
- 2:26which was to reverse everything that the previous administration had done in
- 2:33allowing everybody to come in.
- 2:35And I've said this before. If I was outside of the country, I would want to
- 2:39get in as well as if I was in those parts of the world, I would want to get
- 2:44into the United States as well.
- 2:47So it's easy to be on one side and just think.
- 2:51Oh, they're terrible people by trying to get into our borders and trying to
- 2:58find life in our country when they have such a, they're not in a good circumstance
- 3:03where they're at, you know?
- 3:04And that's why there's so many caravans where people want to come to the United
- 3:07States. And we've allowed there to be a magnet to draw people to the United States.
- 3:13And is the United States doing the right thing by just having open borders and
- 3:19letting everybody to come in?
- 3:21Is that an evil thing by saying we have laws and restrictions?
- 3:27We have a fence up? You know, say you have a home.
- 3:31A lot of people have fences up. A lot of people, they want to feel safe in their own home.
- 3:37And I know that that can be extremely controversial to some people.
- 3:41And I am a Christian. I'm a Christian. And I, so I want, we want to take care
- 3:47of everybody as much as possible, but also we, there is laws that have to govern society.
- 3:53Otherwise we are going to just crumble and not be able to function.
- 3:58So I get it. I completely get it.
- 4:01I, it's, it's very startling to me that the Democrats have put their flag in
- 4:08this and they're actually going to El Salvador to try to meet with this man,
- 4:13as opposed to take like, there's, we got enough problems here.
- 4:18And there's so many people that are being taken out of this country right now
- 4:23that are not here legally. So we can't skate past the part that he was not here legally.
- 4:29He did not go through a process to get in, so we can't just think...
- 4:33Because he has a family, because everybody's human, you know,
- 4:37in the whole thing about Christianity, we are all on the same playing field.
- 4:42We are all on the same level.
- 4:43There is, it doesn't matter how much money or wealth you have or whatever awesome
- 4:49spot you were born into, you know, we are all on the same level.
- 4:53So it's not to say that anybody is any worse than anybody else, you know, at their core.
- 4:59We are all, and there is no difference between the worst person in the world
- 5:04as opposed to the best person appearing in the world to us, you know?
- 5:08We got to make, people make their decisions, you know?
- 5:10But this is biblical. I mean, people, Jesus said, offenses must come,
- 5:15but woe to them through whom they come, you know? So we carry out activities.
- 5:19We do bad things, you know? And do we really have free will and all that, you know?
- 5:24It's a matter of opinion. I didn't choose to be born in the United States.
- 5:28Kilmora Borrego Garcia didn't choose to be born in El Salvador.
- 5:32But I mean, God has also instituted and put into our whole fabric of life that
- 5:38we are to have structures.
- 5:41And that is what the government is supposed to do. We are supposed to set up courts of law.
- 5:46We are supposed to set up things that humanity can function and not just destroy ourselves.
- 5:53So I get it from both sides I
- 5:56want to have compassion as much as I can you know personally to
- 5:59everyone but I also to understand that
- 6:02our government's got a job to do so them
- 6:05sending him away that they were following their process and I've also heard
- 6:11that it was there some missed paperwork that he got sent out either way he was
- 6:15not here legally so we cannot skate past that and just try to throw anything
- 6:19else up and try to say he's been here for so long he's been here for so I mean,
- 6:25like I said, I would try to get in as well.
- 6:28And if I got caught and I got sent home, I would get it. I get it. You know, I understand.
- 6:36So I, but what are your viewpoints? Do you believe that he should have been sent home?
- 6:41Do you believe that he, that the Trump administration was in the right and the wrong?
- 6:45Everybody's going to formulate their own opinion, but like, how do we remove the bias?
- 6:49How do we come to it just fresh, clean slate and just take it for what it is?
- 6:54We can't skate, just skip past the reality of the situation and what he was.
- 6:59He had, we got to take into account, he was also involved in MS-13 activity.
- 7:05And he has a whole rap sheet of all this stuff that he's done.
- 7:10So, but it should fall on.
- 7:13He was not here. He did not come through the process, you know,
- 7:16so Trump, they're reacting heavily based on the mandate that they were given by the American people.
- 7:23So that's my viewpoint on it. That's how I see it.
- 7:26But let me know what you think. I'm always open to whatever is true, whatever is real.
- 7:33I want to get on that. I don't want to be where I am just a dummy that just
- 7:38following, you know, the waves of the wind, the political, the political tide,
- 7:44whatever I'm being pushed into and whatever I think at the time,
- 7:48I am open to whatever is true.
- 7:51That's the, the, the main thing, you know? And if we, if we come to this as
- 7:54much as we can unbiased, I think it's just clear cut. He wasn't here illegally.
- 8:00That's like bottom line, you know, and they deported him. So he went to prison.
- 8:03He's over there because that's their country's deal.
- 8:06El Salvador, they throw their gang members into prison.
- 8:11So that's why he's in prison. You know, we're not deciding.
- 8:15We didn't send him into prison. We send him back to his country and they are
- 8:19the ones putting him in prison.
- 8:20So, all right, we'll leave it at that. If you've liked this video,
