  Welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin. Today we begin a brand new week, right?

  And we're diving into something so many of us struggle with.

  Standing boldly in our faith, especially when the world around us seems to challenge,
• 1:07
  question, or even misunderstand what we believe.

  You know, growing up, I remember watching people of faith who never seemed afraid to talk about God.
• 1:16
  They prayed over meals in public. They had their Bibles with them.
• 1:20
  They talked openly about blessings.
• 1:23
  As a kid, I admired the confidence.
• 1:26
  But as adults, many of us learn to tone it down because we don't want to offend
• 1:32
  or we don't know how many people will react to it.
• 1:37
  Maybe you've been there. Maybe you're there right now.
• 1:40
  I'll never forget a moment years back as I was at work and someone came to me
• 1:44
  looking stressed, overwhelmed, exhausted.
• 1:47
  I felt the Holy Spirit nudge me to pray with them right there and then.
• 1:52
  But the fear kicked in. What if they say no? What if someone overhears?
• 1:57
  What if it makes it all awkward?

  After a moment of hesitation, I gently said, would you like me to pray for you?
• 2:05
  And they didn't just say yes, they cried.
• 2:09
  They told me he had been praying for someone, anyone to show up and remind them that God was still near.

  Sometimes courage isn't loud. Sometimes it's simply showing up.
• 2:24
  Standing boldly in your faith doesn't, well, isn't about preaching on a corner.

  It's about living your life in a way that reflects Christ, with kindness,
• 2:34
  humility, compassion, and love.
• 2:37
  It's smiling at someone who needs it. It's offering encouragement when others remain silent.

  It's being the light when the room feels dim.
• 2:46
  Bold faith doesn't always roar. Sometimes it whispers.

  So here I am, Lord, use me. So our scripture today comes from Joshua 1,
• 2:56
  verse 9 Be strong and courageous Do not be afraid Do not be discouraged For
• 3:02
  the Lord your God is with you whenever you go.
• 3:08
  Joshua wasn't being told to be loud. He was being told to be faithful.
• 3:14
  The reason we can stand boldly is not because we have all the answers.
• 3:18
  It's because God stands with us. So here's your challenge for today.
• 3:23
  Find one opportunity, just one, to live your faith out loud.
• 3:28
  Now it could be encouraging someone, praying for someone, sending a message
• 3:32
  to someone God placed in your heart, showing patience when you'd rather not,
• 3:37
  speaking kindness into a hard situation.
• 3:41
  One small, bold step can change the course of someone's day, maybe even their life.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, today we ask for courage, not the kind that shouts,
• 3:53
  but the kind that stands.
• 3:55
  Help us live our faith authentically, humbly, and openly. I mean, guide our steps.

  Give us opportunities to shine your light and give us boldness to walk through
• 4:08
  the doors when they are open.
• 4:11
  Be with every listener today. Strengthen them, protect them,
• 4:15
  and remind them that you are by their side wherever they go.

  So let me close with this. Thank you for joining me today. Remember that living

  boldly doesn't mean being perfect. It means being willing.

  And remember that because you matter. And never forget, have faith, let it begin.
