- 0:52Speaker 1: have a new topic, of course, Amen, we're calling this
- 0:56Speaker 1: one relatable redeemer. Relatable redeemer. Jesus was born into the
- 1:03Speaker 1: same fallen world as everyone else, surrounded by temptation, surrounded
- 1:10Speaker 1: by you know, sin. He showed signs of weakness in
- 1:14Speaker 1: his body, yet he himself never sinned. That separates Jesus
- 1:21Speaker 1: from everyone else, everybody else, every other religious leader. Amen,
- 1:28Speaker 1: Jesus was without sin, without sin. This is the thing,
- 1:34Speaker 1: This is what people don't like about the Lord, that
- 1:37Speaker 1: he's perfect. Amen. And people say, no, he's just a
- 1:40Speaker 1: regular man, just like Buddha, just like Muhammed, just like
- 1:45Speaker 1: you know, everybody else. And they try to include Jesus
- 1:49Speaker 1: with everybody else. But Jesus is set apart. Amen. He's holy,
- 1:53Speaker 1: he is sinless, he is perfect. And he's the one
- 1:57Speaker 1: who made this statement that no one comes to the
- 2:01Speaker 1: Father except by him. Why, because he's the way, the
- 2:04Speaker 1: truth and the life. No one could come to the
- 2:07Speaker 1: Father besides through him a man very exclusive claim bothers
- 2:13Speaker 1: a lot of people. Amn, he's to bother me, including me,
- 2:16Speaker 1: he's to bothered me a last. How dare he say that?
- 2:19Speaker 1: And then when you investigate the claims of the Lord,
- 2:21Speaker 1: then when you study the life of the Lord Jesus Christ,
- 2:24Speaker 1: he'll be like, well, no one has dirt on the Lord. Amen,
- 2:28Speaker 1: and no one there's no conspiracy of what he did
- 2:31Speaker 1: unless you believe in the da Vinci Code. But other
- 2:34Speaker 1: than that, nothing clean, clean record. How about you? How
- 2:38Speaker 1: about me? Do we have clean records? Amen? Well? According
- 2:41Speaker 1: to the Lord Jesus Christ. Once you're saved, he wipes
- 2:44Speaker 1: out our sin, Amen, and we have a clean slate
- 2:48Speaker 1: to live a life of victory. So the finished work
- 2:51Speaker 1: we're clean, forgiven, born again. Amen. The applied work is
- 2:54Speaker 1: that we're working out our salvation with fear and trembling,
- 2:58Speaker 1: with it being a Hebrews chapter number four, verse number fifteen,
- 3:01Speaker 1: and we're calling this one relatable redeemer. If you have
- 3:03Speaker 1: any questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, or anything along those lines,
- 3:08Speaker 1: please do not hesitate to leave it on a live chat.
- 3:10Speaker 1: That's what we're here for. If you're listening online on
- 3:13Speaker 1: the radio or on the apps, amen, there should be
- 3:15Speaker 1: a way to connect with me there as well. Also,
- 3:18Speaker 1: if you're with us on the podcast, there's a live
- 3:21Speaker 1: chat on the platform. That should be whatever platform you're
- 3:24Speaker 1: listening from. On the podcast platform, there should be a
- 3:27Speaker 1: way to connect with us all if you If all
- 3:31Speaker 1: us fails, just go to the website someone is with
- 3:33Speaker 1: a z dot org or live that someone is with
- 3:36Speaker 1: a z dot org. If you have any questions, comments, concerns,
- 3:39Speaker 1: or prayer requests, and as soon as we see them,
- 3:41Speaker 1: we'll get back to you. Amen. So thank you so
- 3:43Speaker 1: much for coming through so s the joys I see you.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Good morning. God bless you you and your family as well,
- 3:48Speaker 1: and thank you for the blessings over the group. God
- 3:50Speaker 1: bless you, my sister and my friend. Thank you so
- 3:52Speaker 1: much for coming. We'll get to pray first. After we pray,
- 3:55Speaker 1: we'll share this out for like sixty seconds, and then
- 3:57Speaker 1: you know, the drill on the other side of those
- 3:59Speaker 1: sixty seconds, we'll get right into today's morning devo, which
- 4:02Speaker 1: is called relatable Redeemer. He will shot the four first
- 4:08Speaker 1: number fifteen. Father, I thank you that you could relate
- 4:12Speaker 1: that you made yourself in the form of a man
- 4:15Speaker 1: name Jesus, to live among us, to live among the people,
- 4:19Speaker 1: to show that you too were one hundred percent man,
- 4:24Speaker 1: yet one hundred percent God. Thank you, Lord God for
- 4:27Speaker 1: coming down to this earth. You sent prophets prior, you
- 4:30Speaker 1: sent people to warn and to show people the way,
- 4:34Speaker 1: and people still need it more and you knew that,
- 4:39Speaker 1: so you sent your only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ,
- 4:42Speaker 1: to live among his people, to live among us, to
- 4:44Speaker 1: dwell among us and complete a mission. Thank you, Lord
- 4:49Speaker 1: God for the completion of your mission. Thank you Lord
- 4:51Speaker 1: Jesus on the course he said it is finished. Thank
- 4:54Speaker 1: you lott God. He didn't say you were finished, but
- 4:56Speaker 1: it is finished. The mission was complete. And now we
- 4:59Speaker 1: have I have full access for all those whomsoever who call,
- 5:03Speaker 1: whomsoever is who called upon the name of the Lord.
- 5:06Speaker 1: We're saved, We're redeemed, we are born again. Amen. We
- 5:10Speaker 1: are completely satisfied in our souls. We know that one
- 5:14Speaker 1: day You're going to return, and we hold on to
- 5:16Speaker 1: this gospel. We hold on to this truth because we
- 5:19Speaker 1: know that we've been transformed, that we've been renewed, that
- 5:22Speaker 1: we've been redeemed. So thank you so much, Lord Jesus
- 5:25Speaker 1: for what you have done so many years on the
- 5:28Speaker 1: cross of cavalry once for all eternity. And I pray,
- 5:32Speaker 1: Lord God, if I had you protection, that you can
- 5:34Speaker 1: see to guide guard, to protect us physically, emotionally and
- 5:37Speaker 1: spiritually as families are being attacked, that you would save families, marriages.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord God for protecting our children, my children,
- 5:49Speaker 1: my family, my wife, our grandchildren, our family members from
- 5:53Speaker 1: the very youngest to the very oldest, and every single
- 5:55Speaker 1: person in between. I pray this very same prayer daily
- 5:58Speaker 1: over every single person that's listening and watching right now,
- 6:01Speaker 1: that the Angel of the Lord will to camp around
- 6:03Speaker 1: those who love you, Lord Jesus, and that we will
- 6:06Speaker 1: be guided, guard and protected daily in this world that's
- 6:09Speaker 1: full of drama, chaos, killing, murder, deception, everything that's going
- 6:13Speaker 1: on around us. Let it not be an excuse of
- 6:16Speaker 1: what will be happening in us. So I speak peace,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I speak love, grace, mercy, and the powerful name of Jesus.
- 6:22Speaker 1: And those who agree with this prayer, we say Amen
- 6:25Speaker 1: to the Amen. Help me share this out sixty seconds
- 6:29Speaker 1: when I come back. When we come back, we'll get
- 6:31Speaker 1: right into today's scripture. Hebrews, chapter number four, verse number fifteen.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I'll be right back, man, We're back. We're back so much,
- 7:52Speaker 1: so many groups and again I became a member for
- 7:57Speaker 1: Easton Witches group. That's a lie from the devil. I
- 8:01Speaker 1: don't know how I'm on that group, but I don't
- 8:04Speaker 1: connect with them. And see how did that get on
- 8:06Speaker 1: a witch group? Amen? So we'll pray for the witches
- 8:11Speaker 1: in Eastern that they will repent and turn from that
- 8:14Speaker 1: wickedness and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen, is
- 8:17Speaker 1: very simple. I know what's going on in the month
- 8:18Speaker 1: of October. You know, they get a little bit more courageous.
- 8:22Speaker 1: That's their month that they feel that there's a thin
- 8:27Speaker 1: veil between, you know, the darkness and the light and
- 8:31Speaker 1: people and the dead and all that stuff. We'll continue
- 8:33Speaker 1: to pray. I don't celebrate Halloween, and I don't think
- 8:36Speaker 1: you should either. Amen. If you're born again, especially, darkness
- 8:41Speaker 1: is not celebrated as a believer. Death is not celebrated
- 8:45Speaker 1: as a believer. We celebrate life and light. Amen, So
- 8:48Speaker 1: we'll continue to pray. If you come again. If you
- 8:52Speaker 1: come across a witch or a warlock or a demon
- 8:54Speaker 1: or anything like that during Halloween season, rebuke it in
- 8:58Speaker 1: the name of Jesus. And if the people need to
- 9:01Speaker 1: be delivered, Amen. If you feel courageous enough, remind yourself
- 9:05Speaker 1: that you do have the power to lay hands and
- 9:08Speaker 1: claim or say, in the name of Jesus, get out.
- 9:11Speaker 1: But just prepare for the manifestation of all that that happens.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I don't want to scare nobody right now, but prepare yourself. Amen,
- 9:18Speaker 1: Be prepared, stay ready, and be ready. Amen, Sister Joanne,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I see you. Good morning, God blessed you. Welcome back
- 9:23Speaker 1: to the morning. Devo my sister and my friend brother. Way,
- 9:26Speaker 1: I see you man, good morning, God bless you my bro.
- 9:28Speaker 1: It's good to see you in the morning. Devo. So
- 9:30Speaker 1: let's go for it. Let's put this word on the
- 9:32Speaker 1: screen for those who are watching, for those who are
- 9:34Speaker 1: just listening. Amen, no worries, no problems. What I'll do
- 9:37Speaker 1: is I'll read it word for words, so that way
- 9:40Speaker 1: you don't miss a beat and you know what's going
- 9:41Speaker 1: on during the morning Devo. Amen. I know a lot
- 9:45Speaker 1: of times people, if it was up to me, I
- 9:47Speaker 1: would just do this audibly. Amen. But I know there's
- 9:50Speaker 1: an audience and people that like to see videos, that
- 9:53Speaker 1: have the time to see videos. Amen. So I make
- 9:55Speaker 1: sure we cover both ends and not be selfish. Because
- 10:00Speaker 1: I I love I love audio. I love audio only
- 10:02Speaker 1: to me, that's that's my thing. Amen. I don't know
- 10:06Speaker 1: if it's because I'm old school or whatever, but audio.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I like to listen to audio, close my eyes and
- 10:11Speaker 1: let the voice or whatever I'm listening to paint the
- 10:13Speaker 1: picture in my mind. Amen. I learn better that way.
- 10:17Speaker 1: But so both sides, no worries, Amen, will will try.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I'll try my best to get both things done. Amen.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Relatable Redeemer today in the morning, Devo, What does that mean? Well, heblews.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Chapter four, Verse number fifteen explains what I'm talking about.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Scripture says, for we do not have a high priest
- 10:41Speaker 1: who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations,
- 10:49Speaker 1: but one who has been tempted, knowing exactly how it
- 10:54Speaker 1: feels to be human in every respect as we are,
- 11:00Speaker 1: yet without committing any sin. Wow. So the Lord Jesus
- 11:08Speaker 1: knows what we're going through. He's our redeemer. But he's
- 11:12Speaker 1: a relatable redeemer, right. He knows what we're going through.
- 11:18Speaker 1: He is Lord of hosts. He's our high priest. The
- 11:23Speaker 1: Lord Jesus. Being a high priest means that he's not
- 11:26Speaker 1: a drunkard. It means that he never sinned. It means
- 11:30Speaker 1: that he is above every other earthly priest. He's the
- 11:34Speaker 1: high priest. We have a high priest, and our high priest,
- 11:40Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus yeshiaha much. She understands where we're coming from.
- 11:45Speaker 1: He understands your weakness and my weakness. He understands temptation
- 11:49Speaker 1: when we're being tempted. So therefore, temptation on its own
- 11:53Speaker 1: is not a sin. It's what you do in a temptation.
- 11:56Speaker 1: If you fall into temptation that causes you to sin,
- 12:00Speaker 1: then that's something that we need to repent from. But
- 12:03Speaker 1: temptation on its own is not a sin, because if
- 12:06Speaker 1: it was when Jesus was being tempted by the devil himself,
- 12:11Speaker 1: then Jesus would have been a sinner. Get it so
- 12:16Speaker 1: our Lord can relate to us. He was tempted. He
- 12:21Speaker 1: knows exactly how it feels to be human. He was
- 12:25Speaker 1: tempted in every respect as we are differences. He never
- 12:32Speaker 1: committed sin. And it's okay, right to know that there
- 12:37Speaker 1: is someone higher that is someone perfect that we could
- 12:41Speaker 1: actually go to. It's okay. I know a lot of
- 12:43Speaker 1: people don't like that. They're like, how dare Jesus say?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Or the people of Jesus say that he was perfect? Well,
- 12:50Speaker 1: he was, and then the problem that issue is not
- 12:53Speaker 1: really with the people of God that people have. The
- 12:56Speaker 1: problem issue is Jesus Christ. And it will be a
- 13:00Speaker 1: stumbling block to those who don't believe, a stumbling block
- 13:04Speaker 1: to those who have other ideas of how eternity works.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Jesus will be a stumbling block to those who refuse
- 13:09Speaker 1: to believe in the Gospel message. I think what happened
- 13:12Speaker 1: is it's too easy. People say, well, you have a book,
- 13:17Speaker 1: a book that God left you. They mock you. Right,
- 13:19Speaker 1: we have what the Lord left and inspired word of
- 13:23Speaker 1: God a man called the Bible, and it's been reserved
- 13:26Speaker 1: all throughout the years. And that's why when people say, oh,
- 13:29Speaker 1: the Bible has been changed over and over again, it's transliterated,
- 13:33Speaker 1: translated wrong, and this, that and the third. I said, well,
- 13:36Speaker 1: what about the manuscripts that we have, thousands of manuscripts
- 13:40Speaker 1: that we have to prove that the same scripture that
- 13:43Speaker 1: was written way back it's the same scripture that's available
- 13:46Speaker 1: to us now. And I do understand there's other scriptures
- 13:49Speaker 1: out there that are not reliable, right, there's people that
- 13:54Speaker 1: are playing around with the gospels and writings and putting
- 13:58Speaker 1: out some weird Bibles that I've seen out there. Yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 1: I understand that, but look at the copyright date. They're
- 14:03Speaker 1: not old. They're like now in the past ten twenty years,
- 14:06Speaker 1: maybe forty fifty years, but it hasn't been centuries ago.
- 14:11Speaker 1: And if we had the original, who has the original?
- 14:13Speaker 1: I know everybody's gonna say, oh, the Vatican they're hiding books. Okay,
- 14:17Speaker 1: let's just say just for fun that that was true.
- 14:23Speaker 1: If the Vatican has the original books of the Bible
- 14:27Speaker 1: or they're hiding other books, does it change the fact
- 14:29Speaker 1: that Jesus is Lord. Does it change the fact that
- 14:32Speaker 1: you're born again, you're saved, that you're redeemed. Does it
- 14:36Speaker 1: change the fact that Jesus lived a perfect sinless life.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Or the conspiracy might be well, yeah, they hit the
- 14:43Speaker 1: books of where Jesus did this, and Jesus did that
- 14:46Speaker 1: and he sinned. Well, if that was the case, I'm
- 14:50Speaker 1: sure the devil, the enemy, the people who are against
- 14:53Speaker 1: the Gospel will be searching for them books to expose
- 14:56Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus Christ. I've known people to tell me, oh,
- 15:00Speaker 1: Jesus is he's dead and buried and somewhere in India.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I'll be like, really, and nobody's gonna exhume the body
- 15:08Speaker 1: and crush Christianity once and for all, because if you
- 15:11Speaker 1: find the remains of the Lord Jesus, then he never resurrected,
- 15:15Speaker 1: he was never came back from the grave, and he
- 15:18Speaker 1: never ascended to heaven. If he's still here with his
- 15:20Speaker 1: bones in the grave, think about it, clearly, man, there's
- 15:25Speaker 1: a lot of people saying all bunch whole bunch of stuff,
- 15:28Speaker 1: but they never they never claim their source, or they
- 15:32Speaker 1: never want to reveal their source. Everything becomes mystical. Amen.
- 15:37Speaker 1: So here we are. Let me get to my notes.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Relatable redeemer, relatable redeemer. Jesus was sinless in a world
- 15:48Speaker 1: full of sin. Right and me and you, we feel
- 15:53Speaker 1: the sin in this world, the temptation all around us,
- 15:57Speaker 1: the hatred, sexual morality, the violence, the corruption. We feel
- 16:07Speaker 1: all of this in the world that we're living in.
- 16:09Speaker 1: But the Bible is clear and honest, and it says
- 16:13Speaker 1: that we're in this world, but we're not of this world.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Being of this world means that you're bound to it.
- 16:20Speaker 1: You're bound to sin, sexual morality, all kind of stuff.
- 16:24Speaker 1: But when you're born again, you're no longer bound. You
- 16:27Speaker 1: realize that we're free. The chains from this bondage was
- 16:31Speaker 1: broken when you and I were active. Now in the
- 16:35Speaker 1: Kingdom of God, we receive the forgiveness of the Lord. Amen.
- 16:39Speaker 1: We have the Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit God living inside
- 16:42Speaker 1: of us. And people are going around making up all
- 16:45Speaker 1: other ways to get some kind of completion in their
- 16:49Speaker 1: life and ignoring that Yeah, it's that simple. Go ahead
- 16:53Speaker 1: and read your scriptures, go ahead and read the Bible,
- 16:55Speaker 1: find out the claims of the Lord Jesus Christ. Because
- 16:58Speaker 1: bottom line, all the prophets right, and all the wisdom
- 17:03Speaker 1: books and everything is pointing to a redeemer, a relatable redeemer.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And his name is the Lord Jesus Christ. And people say, well,
- 17:11Speaker 1: have you studied every other religion? Sam, and have you
- 17:13Speaker 1: did this? And that? I don't have enough time in
- 17:16Speaker 1: my life to study all religions, but I could do
- 17:18Speaker 1: this though, I could make a distinction between every religion.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Let's just say, and I say this a lot, every
- 17:25Speaker 1: religion in the world is in this hand, right, and
- 17:29Speaker 1: every religion in this hand says that Jesus is a
- 17:31Speaker 1: good person, he's a good prophet, but not God. Then
- 17:35Speaker 1: over here Christianity says that Jesus is God. And then
- 17:40Speaker 1: you look at the claims of the Lord Jesus himself,
- 17:42Speaker 1: and he claimed to be God. That's why ladies and gentlemen,
- 17:46Speaker 1: the Jews during his time called him a blasphemer and
- 17:50Speaker 1: that deserved death because they knew exactly what he was saying.
- 17:53Speaker 1: It seems like in their native tongue, his demonstrations what
- 17:59Speaker 1: he was doing on Sabbath that they didn't like. It
- 18:02Speaker 1: all spoke to them at the time, they knew exactly
- 18:06Speaker 1: what it was trying to say. He was saying that
- 18:08Speaker 1: he was God. And now we're looking at it hundreds
- 18:11Speaker 1: of years later, and we're looking at it. No, Jesus
- 18:14Speaker 1: never claims to be God's It's mind bothering, but not
- 18:18Speaker 1: so much mind boggling, because the Bible is clear. The
- 18:20Speaker 1: spirit of the age right came the enemy of our souls. Right.
- 18:26Speaker 1: The God of this world's system is blinding people. I
- 18:30Speaker 1: was once blind too, but now I could see a
- 18:33Speaker 1: man he blinds people to say there is no God,
- 18:37Speaker 1: that Jesus was just a prophet, and then you have
- 18:39Speaker 1: all these cults coming after that. A man whoever says
- 18:44Speaker 1: that Jesus is not God needs to prove that Jesus
- 18:47Speaker 1: never claimed to be God, and you can't do it
- 18:50Speaker 1: if you're honest. That's why people say, oh, you can't
- 18:54Speaker 1: use the scriptures to back up your point. It's weird, right,
- 18:58Speaker 1: It's like saying you can't use the Book of the
- 19:01Speaker 1: Law in the court of law, is like saying you
- 19:04Speaker 1: can't use a training manual to learn a new skill
- 19:09Speaker 1: or a job. It's like saying you don't get a
- 19:12Speaker 1: new job and they say, okay, go ahead and do
- 19:14Speaker 1: it without you getting trained for it and having to
- 19:17Speaker 1: sign papers, release forms and liability forms. It's like saying,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I have life insurance, but I never signed up for it.
- 19:25Speaker 1: You have no papers, you didn't know what you're insured
- 19:28Speaker 1: for it. Come on, let's be honest with each other
- 19:30Speaker 1: a man, and say, the real reason why people don't
- 19:33Speaker 1: want to come to the Lord Jesus as Savior, as
- 19:36Speaker 1: the perfect Redeemer, as a relatable redeemer, is because they
- 19:39Speaker 1: want to continue to live the way they want to live,
- 19:42Speaker 1: according to how they want to live. And normally it's
- 19:46Speaker 1: sin and the flesh and the devil and man, the
- 19:48Speaker 1: lust of the eyes, the pride of life and the
- 19:51Speaker 1: world a man and the devil. And it seems like
- 19:54Speaker 1: you're pleased with all of that. But I could guarantee
- 19:56Speaker 1: people are not satisfied with all of that, including myself.
- 20:00Speaker 1: When I was born again, I did what the world
- 20:02Speaker 1: asked me to do. I did it, and I did
- 20:05Speaker 1: it pretty good. Amen, And I realized that it was
- 20:08Speaker 1: all a lie pipe dream. Amen, it was not real.
- 20:14Speaker 1: The results were not real. And everybody else that I
- 20:16Speaker 1: know that went down that road, they could tell you, yeah,
- 20:19Speaker 1: I'm still not satisfied. I did X Y Z, and
- 20:23Speaker 1: now I'm in trouble with the law, and now I
- 20:25Speaker 1: have problems with my baby mama, and now I have
- 20:29Speaker 1: situations where I can't I gotta watch my back all
- 20:31Speaker 1: the time. They're not happy, they're not satisfied. Amen. The
- 20:34Speaker 1: only one who could make you a satisfied, soulful person
- 20:39Speaker 1: is the Lord Jesus, the savior of our souls. He's
- 20:42Speaker 1: the number one chief soul winner, Amen, of all time.
- 20:48Speaker 1: So Jesus was born in the same world we're in.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Right In One Peter, chapter two, verse twenty two, the
- 20:54Speaker 1: Bible says he committed no sin and no Deceit was
- 20:58Speaker 1: found in his mouth, so therefore his heart was pure,
- 21:01Speaker 1: because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
- 21:04Speaker 1: And then we read and he was four fifteen. We
- 21:07Speaker 1: don't have a high priest that is not relatable. We
- 21:11Speaker 1: have a high priest that can relate to us, because
- 21:13Speaker 1: why he's able to know our weaknesses, but one who
- 21:20Speaker 1: has been tempted in every way just as we are.
- 21:23Speaker 1: The difference is he did not sin. Jesus faced hunger, right,
- 21:29Speaker 1: he faced anger, betrayal, pain, and temptation, but he never
- 21:35Speaker 1: yielded to it. He never fell into that right. He
- 21:41Speaker 1: overcame every test that came to him, even the test
- 21:45Speaker 1: of the enemy, when the enemy himself put Jesus to
- 21:49Speaker 1: the temptation test a man. He overcame all of that,
- 21:54Speaker 1: proving that he was not only a human but also
- 21:59Speaker 1: a perfect obedient servant doing God's will perfectly. None of
- 22:06Speaker 1: us could say that we're doing God's will perfectly on
- 22:09Speaker 1: this side of eternity from the Finished work. Were trying
- 22:12Speaker 1: to make this distinction. The finished work says we're already
- 22:15Speaker 1: seated in heavenly places. The apply work says we have
- 22:19Speaker 1: to work out ours own salvation with fear and trembling.
- 22:23Speaker 1: We have to be ready. Stay ready, Amen, Stay prayed up,
- 22:27Speaker 1: keep on in the Word. Find out what the scriptures
- 22:30Speaker 1: say about us and about the Lord. Amen, and activate
- 22:34Speaker 1: that Holy Spirit is leading us. So Holy Spirit is
- 22:38Speaker 1: leading us to all truth. That means there's truth to
- 22:40Speaker 1: be revealed to us in our lives on this side
- 22:43Speaker 1: of eternity. Now, a lot of people want us to
- 22:47Speaker 1: be unsure about that or I don't know whether or
- 22:49Speaker 1: not I'm saved, or I don't know whether or not
- 22:52Speaker 1: going to Heaven or Hell, or I don't know. So
- 22:54Speaker 1: in that I don't know state, a lot of people
- 22:56Speaker 1: feel comfortable because it's like mysterious to say, I don't know.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I have to do a enough good and if I
- 23:01Speaker 1: do bad, then I have to do more good to
- 23:03Speaker 1: level things out. And then when I die, then God
- 23:06Speaker 1: is gonna check the scales, and if there's more good,
- 23:09Speaker 1: I'm good. If there's more bad, I'm bad, you know,
- 23:11Speaker 1: vice versa. Amen, And that's not the scriptures. So they're
- 23:15Speaker 1: living on another precept. They're living on other principles outside
- 23:20Speaker 1: of the holy scriptures of God. And that happens a lot. Amen,
- 23:23Speaker 1: And I have to be mindful and respectful. People bypass
- 23:26Speaker 1: the scriptures for whatever reason, and they go to self
- 23:30Speaker 1: help books, they go to mystical writings. They go to
- 23:34Speaker 1: authors that know about these other realms supposedly and that
- 23:38Speaker 1: they have experienced doing this, experience doing that. They go
- 23:41Speaker 1: to other writers from the past, they go to a gurus,
- 23:45Speaker 1: they go to other leaders of other religions. Amen, And
- 23:48Speaker 1: they bypass the scriptures, which I can guarantee. Most of
- 23:53Speaker 1: those authors, most of those religious leaders, have borrowed principles
- 23:57Speaker 1: from the Holy scriptures. Even atheists have to borrow from
- 24:00Speaker 1: the Bible to prove atheism right. If morality comes up
- 24:05Speaker 1: in an atheistic conversation, where do they get morality from evolution? Really?
- 24:12Speaker 1: The Big Bang has thought and purpose and morality from
- 24:19Speaker 1: a big bang from evolution. They don't have any purpose
- 24:24Speaker 1: if we're all just molecules randomly here and that we
- 24:28Speaker 1: were an accident that happened, and now we're evolving from
- 24:32Speaker 1: whatever we evolved from, and men according to their belief
- 24:36Speaker 1: and then there's no morality, there's no purpose, it's just
- 24:38Speaker 1: an accident. An accident doesn't have a purpose. Amen. I
- 24:43Speaker 1: had an accident yesterday. Some kid backed up into me
- 24:45Speaker 1: from a stop sign, literally backed up. We were at
- 24:48Speaker 1: a stop sign. He backed up and hit my grill,
- 24:50Speaker 1: cracked my grill and everything, And I was like, well,
- 24:52Speaker 1: we had an accident. Was their purpose behind it? Amen?
- 24:56Speaker 1: I guess I needed to meet the young man and
- 24:59Speaker 1: shown grace and murci He said he didn't have no license,
- 25:02Speaker 1: so I showed him mercy. Amen. But I made a
- 25:06Speaker 1: clean though, took a picture of license plate. But you
- 25:09Speaker 1: know what I mean, like there was an accident. If
- 25:13Speaker 1: everything's ordered right, the steps that are are the righteous
- 25:17Speaker 1: are ordered? What about the unrighteous? Or they have steps ordered?
- 25:21Speaker 1: Do they have purpose? Does God have a plan? Amen?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Now he bumped into a righteous person. According to the
- 25:27Speaker 1: Lord Jesus, I'm made righteous. So when he hit my car,
- 25:30Speaker 1: I was a little upset, but then I honed it down.
- 25:34Speaker 1: I had my god son in the back seat. So
- 25:36Speaker 1: let's shine the glory of the Lord. Let's shine mercy
- 25:41Speaker 1: and grace. Amen to the young man that hit me.
- 25:44Speaker 1: He looked nervous. And yeah, that's another story. Brother Scott,
- 25:49Speaker 1: Good morning, God, bless you. Good morning Man of God
- 25:52Speaker 1: as well. Thank you so much for coming through to
- 25:54Speaker 1: the morning Devo. So we have a relatable redeemer. He lives,
- 25:58Speaker 1: he's alive. Amen. He could relate to our situations. Amen.
- 26:03Speaker 1: And he knows what we're going through. But his morality
- 26:07Speaker 1: is pure. Right, it's not a theory, it's not theoretical.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Jesus's morality was pure. It was tested and proven. Check
- 26:18Speaker 1: this out in real life. Jesus proved his perfection in
- 26:23Speaker 1: real life. What about us, We're being perfected by the
- 26:27Speaker 1: perfect One. Amen, by way of his Holy Spirit. Good morning,
- 26:30Speaker 1: brother John, I see you listen amount of time. I
- 26:32Speaker 1: hope you're getting what I'm saying. Read Hebrews chapter four,
- 26:36Speaker 1: the whole chapter. We were at verse number fifteen to
- 26:40Speaker 1: show that we have a high priest that's relatable, and
- 26:43Speaker 1: this high priest is our Redeemer, and our Redeemer still
- 26:47Speaker 1: lives and we are a part of the Kingdom of
- 26:49Speaker 1: God because of what He did at the finished work
- 26:53Speaker 1: of Cavarry on the cross. And now we have Holy
- 26:56Speaker 1: Spirit living inside of us leading us the rest of
- 26:59Speaker 1: the way on this journey here on earth. Amen. So
- 27:02Speaker 1: relatable Redeemer. Celebrate that. Don't back down from that. Don't
- 27:06Speaker 1: let anybody tell you that's not true. That listen. Live
- 27:09Speaker 1: your life out loud in a way that people will
- 27:11Speaker 1: want to know who we serve, whose we are, Amen,
- 27:15Speaker 1: and the Kingdom of God that we're in. People will
- 27:17Speaker 1: want to be curious and negative want to know how
- 27:20Speaker 1: are we living set apart having Jesus sanctified in our
- 27:23Speaker 1: hearts and we are prepared to give a reason for
- 27:27Speaker 1: the hope that we have in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 27:29Speaker 1: And negative be curious they're gonna want to know more
- 27:32Speaker 1: about it if we're living that life. Amen. So God
- 27:34Speaker 1: bless you all, God keep you all, and remember always
- 27:38Speaker 1: that God is good. Peace,
