- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with i R Radio. Yeah. So I love being a
- 0:08Speaker 1: puppy dad, Claire. But he's into everything he is. Um.
- 0:14Speaker 1: He's getting better. He was like into this kind of
- 0:15Speaker 1: like biting every time we wanted to play stage. UM.
- 0:20Speaker 1: And he's just like he has no regard for anything
- 0:23Speaker 1: of mine, Like everything is being moved at all times, um,
- 0:28Speaker 1: like right now. It is one of the hardest things
- 0:30Speaker 1: ever to be a puppy parents for sure. I don't Yeah,
- 0:34Speaker 1: I I believe it. Jessica, you know, is an esthetician.
- 0:37Speaker 1: So she has like her um what I don't know
- 0:39Speaker 1: is it called like a spa or salon or whatever
- 0:42Speaker 1: um down in Denver, And so she has to bring
- 0:46Speaker 1: him with her some days. And I can't imagine because
- 0:49Speaker 1: she's like trying to give a facial and he's just
- 0:51Speaker 1: gnawing at her feet. It is so ridiculous, Claire, I'm
- 0:58Speaker 1: telling you, UM. But I do love him, and he
- 1:03Speaker 1: is sweet and he like makes up for his rowdiness
- 1:06Speaker 1: by like the evening times when he wants to cuddle
- 1:09Speaker 1: and he just looks at you like with these eyes
- 1:11Speaker 1: that are just like gosh, dang it, dude, I can't
- 1:13Speaker 1: be mad at you for that long. Oh. I know
- 1:16Speaker 1: it'll pay off in the long run, though, Ben, I
- 1:17Speaker 1: promise hanging there off all right? I sure hope so.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Um right now as I'm talking to you though, and
- 1:24Speaker 1: before we get started, he is sorry I'm reaching over
- 1:27Speaker 1: here because he is chewing up a nine from this
- 1:30Speaker 1: last year, which is perfect. That's just great. Yeah, it's great.
- 1:35Speaker 1: You're you're the best. Hey, Claire, enough about me, let's
- 1:39Speaker 1: talk about you. You're gonna be co hosting with me today.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I'm super pumped for it. But let's just start this
- 1:43Speaker 1: out by kind of catching everybody up on your life. Uh,
- 1:46Speaker 1: how is life going? What are you up to tell
- 1:49Speaker 1: all the listeners? Life is going well? First all, thank
- 1:53Speaker 1: you so much for having me co host on here.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I'm excited to be doing it and excited that Ashley
- 1:58Speaker 1: and Jared had their baby, like I could not be
- 2:01Speaker 1: more excited for them, so happily to take this position
- 2:05Speaker 1: for her today. But what about life has been wonderful
- 2:10Speaker 1: and crazy and up and down and all the above,
- 2:13Speaker 1: but mostly amazing. What has been involved in the amazing
- 2:19Speaker 1: or what's been involved in the ups and downs? Um?
- 2:22Speaker 1: So let's go peaks and valleys, I would say the peaks.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Over the last year, I've shared along my journey of
- 2:31Speaker 1: getting my breast implants out, and that was a big
- 2:33Speaker 1: part of my life. And I think not a lot
- 2:36Speaker 1: of people um talk about it or it's kind of
- 2:40Speaker 1: like an uncomfortable thing because it's your breasts, but in
- 2:43Speaker 1: its classic surgery. But it was something that was impacting
- 2:47Speaker 1: my life tremendously that I hid for so long for
- 2:51Speaker 1: a few years. And since I got them out last July,
- 2:56Speaker 1: um it was July thirty one, life has just gotten
- 3:00Speaker 1: better and better and better and more healing in more
- 3:03Speaker 1: ways than I can even describe. So it's been a
- 3:05Speaker 1: big part of my life lately. What kind of led
- 3:08Speaker 1: to that? Were you sick? Were you having moved? Like?
- 3:12Speaker 1: Was it emotionals? Like? What was going on? Yeah? There
- 3:15Speaker 1: there was a bunch of stuff that individually over the years,
- 3:20Speaker 1: Like it started about a year after I got my implants.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I started I started actually taking pictures of these really
- 3:26Speaker 1: bad rashes that I was getting on my arms and
- 3:28Speaker 1: on um all at my arms and on my shoulders
- 3:32Speaker 1: and on my stomach and anything and everything I did,
- 3:37Speaker 1: no matter what medication, no matter what antibiotic no matter diet, change, exercise,
- 3:41Speaker 1: anything I could do I did and didn't help the
- 3:46Speaker 1: rashes and everything. So I started documenting all that, which
- 3:48Speaker 1: was crazy, and I'm a very very healthy, health conscious person,
- 3:51Speaker 1: so it was it was a crazy thing to kind
- 3:54Speaker 1: of go through that. But then it started to kind
- 3:56Speaker 1: of like the more that time went on, the more like, um,
- 4:01Speaker 1: I could tell I would feel hungover every single day
- 4:04Speaker 1: and I don't even drink, so for me, I would
- 4:07Speaker 1: sleep nine hours a night and just be exhausted. I
- 4:09Speaker 1: had super dark circles under my eyes, and I was
- 4:12Speaker 1: getting sicker and sicker and sicker with no answers why um.
- 4:17Speaker 1: And like I said, I'm a very healthy person. So
- 4:20Speaker 1: I just couldn't make sense of it for the longest time.
- 4:22Speaker 1: And I realized, looking back now how little energy I
- 4:28Speaker 1: had that if I'm being honest, like I was already
- 4:32Speaker 1: depleting myself pouring my heart into my relationship, pouring my
- 4:36Speaker 1: heart into helping take care of my mom, that I
- 4:39Speaker 1: was just depleted on my own energy levels as well
- 4:42Speaker 1: for my own healings. So it was just getting sicker
- 4:44Speaker 1: and sicker, not being able to kind of like help myself. Um,
- 4:49Speaker 1: and I didn't realize this, but the whites of my
- 4:52Speaker 1: eyes were getting gray, which is a significant sign for
- 4:57Speaker 1: like liver toxicity. UM and that's kind of what triggered
- 5:01Speaker 1: my doctor to go maybe this is something to do
- 5:05Speaker 1: with like heavy metals in your body, which led to
- 5:08Speaker 1: implant casing. I can tell you're so excited about this
- 5:10Speaker 1: right now. I'm so, I am sorry, I'm I'm listening.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I heard about implant casing. I'm trying to make sure
- 5:16Speaker 1: that my dog doesn't chew a no electrical wire that's
- 5:21Speaker 1: plugged into the wall right now. So I'm listening and
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm parenting. So yes, please please forgive me. I feel
- 5:27Speaker 1: like you need to also, this is great training for
- 5:30Speaker 1: a future child. Maybe that you have to start multitasking
- 5:34Speaker 1: on so many levels you don't even understand. Trust me, Yes, yes, multitask.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I'm here, I'm very present. I'm just making sure that
- 5:43Speaker 1: my puppy one doesn't hurt himself or two doesn't hurt
- 5:46Speaker 1: something I cared deeply about right now. Understandable on all levels.
- 5:51Speaker 1: So I was just just riff and giving me crops,
- 5:55Speaker 1: so okay, But yeah, it was just started. It was
- 5:57Speaker 1: a major decline in my health and when I'm a
- 6:00Speaker 1: very healthy woman. And so anyway, that's that's the gist
- 6:03Speaker 1: of that. I got him out and then I didn't realize,
- 6:07Speaker 1: like I said, how sick I was until I began healing.
- 6:11Speaker 1: And that was the only constant that was taken out
- 6:14Speaker 1: of my life, and I kept everything else. To say,
- 6:16Speaker 1: My workouts were the same, my diets were the same
- 6:18Speaker 1: after my surgery, and it's just like life has in
- 6:23Speaker 1: healing has just gotten better and better and better for me. Um.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Without that, my energy levels are out the roof without
- 6:30Speaker 1: even me knowing. You're trying, you know, I'm imagining to
- 6:34Speaker 1: tell me if I'm wrong, but from a distance from
- 6:36Speaker 1: a fan watching from the outside looking in. UH, this
- 6:40Speaker 1: last year probably like healing has been a huge part
- 6:43Speaker 1: of it in multiple ways, UM, and so feeling good
- 6:48Speaker 1: is like it's a necessity. So how much of this
- 6:51Speaker 1: really do you a credit to? Uh? Getting your breast
- 6:54Speaker 1: implants removed and also just you know, leaving a relationships,
- 6:59Speaker 1: getting back into the world, exploring again. I think it
- 7:03Speaker 1: all plays in when you have positive in your in
- 7:07Speaker 1: your life and supportive people in your life, UM, it
- 7:13Speaker 1: helps with your healing. You don't feel so alone, and
- 7:15Speaker 1: it definitely goes a lot into play when you're not
- 7:18Speaker 1: pouring yourself into something that isn't pouring back into you.
- 7:21Speaker 1: You know, it is very deepleating. So having just not
- 7:25Speaker 1: to have to do that and to have all my
- 7:27Speaker 1: energy be able to be focused on my own healing
- 7:30Speaker 1: has been honestly one of the greatest things I guess
- 7:36Speaker 1: for myself, you know, and it was in such a
- 7:39Speaker 1: crappy way, but I think somehow the universe knew that
- 7:44Speaker 1: I needed that in order to you so well, first off,
- 7:48Speaker 1: that's incredible. I'm really glad personally that you know, this
- 7:52Speaker 1: was something you did. Uh. You know, it's it's not
- 7:55Speaker 1: fun to feel bad, and then it's not fun to
- 7:58Speaker 1: feel bad always. And I mean I saw I think
- 8:01Speaker 1: it was he last week you posted like a video
- 8:05Speaker 1: um and like you had spots, Uh, you had like inflammation,
- 8:10Speaker 1: um your eyes definitely, Yeah, you definitely had discoloration, like
- 8:15Speaker 1: And so now to see you like thriving again is
- 8:18Speaker 1: such a good thing to watch from an outsider's perspective.
- 8:21Speaker 1: So now you're back into the world. We've obviously you know,
- 8:24Speaker 1: everybody in Batchel Nation wants to know. And before we
- 8:25Speaker 1: get started breaking down this week's episode. Uh, and we
- 8:28Speaker 1: are going to break down this week's episode of Clayton's
- 8:31Speaker 1: season of The Bachelor. Are you ready to start dating again? Like?
- 8:34Speaker 1: Do you have closure enough with the show and with
- 8:38Speaker 1: past relationship to get back out there? Um? I would
- 8:43Speaker 1: say that I'm definitely, definitely healing in the best way possible. Um.
- 8:51Speaker 1: There was a lot of things that happened, I guess
- 8:53Speaker 1: within the last year, especially within my relationship, that were
- 8:58Speaker 1: the behind the scenes stuff that I probably I don't
- 9:01Speaker 1: know when I'll share it or be ready to share,
- 9:04Speaker 1: but that we're really difficult that nobody knows about and
- 9:09Speaker 1: that we're private, you know, um, in my within my relationship,
- 9:12Speaker 1: but that has taken it took a big toll on me,
- 9:17Speaker 1: I guess, Um with believing in myself and UM, I
- 9:26Speaker 1: guess you know they always say and like, the hardest
- 9:29Speaker 1: relationship isn't the toxic one, it's the one right after
- 9:32Speaker 1: your toxic one, because you have to relearn to trust
- 9:36Speaker 1: your own gut instincts that were undermined and gas lit
- 9:39Speaker 1: and told that you were crazy and wrong and crazy,
- 9:43Speaker 1: I guess. And so the one right after that or
- 9:45Speaker 1: the healing right after that is kind of the hardest
- 9:48Speaker 1: part of the whole thing, to be honest, because I
- 9:51Speaker 1: had I'm still learning to trust my gut again, know
- 9:56Speaker 1: the signs, the red flags that I was discredited for. Like,
- 10:01Speaker 1: I'm just relearning everything. So I am doing that. It's
- 10:06Speaker 1: baby step in it and I don't to be honest then,
- 10:08Speaker 1: like I don't feel a rush for it. I'm more
- 10:11Speaker 1: focused on my own healing right now and taking care
- 10:14Speaker 1: of my mom and making sure that she's okay and
- 10:17Speaker 1: um comfortable. So that's that's really where my focus is.
- 10:21Speaker 1: How is she doing? Um, honestly not the greatest right now. Um,
- 10:32Speaker 1: she had COVID. She got diagnosed with COVID last Thursday,
- 10:37Speaker 1: So as somebody who's already kind of she's on hospice
- 10:40Speaker 1: already and so it was just another big dip in
- 10:43Speaker 1: her in her health. Um so it's been a little
- 10:47Speaker 1: bit of a challenge. And I'm my sisters all have children,
- 10:51Speaker 1: and um so I think I was the one that
- 10:55Speaker 1: could go that's been able to go in there, and
- 10:57Speaker 1: I guess how the honor of being able to take
- 10:59Speaker 1: care of her while she is going through this, but
- 11:02Speaker 1: I don't know, it's it's a challenging thing. You don't
- 11:04Speaker 1: really want to be around COVID and I'm, of all people,
- 11:06Speaker 1: I'm a germophobe. But my mom take care of me
- 11:10Speaker 1: my whole life, and to least I can do for her,
- 11:12Speaker 1: you know, thank you for asking. Yeah, well, um, we're
- 11:17Speaker 1: thinking about you, and you know, anybody listening, I hope
- 11:19Speaker 1: they show their support to you. It's it is a
- 11:22Speaker 1: tough time. There's no questions about it. And it's good
- 11:25Speaker 1: to say it's a tough time. Um, But then yeah,
- 11:28Speaker 1: it's it's a weird time for you because then you
- 11:30Speaker 1: have these amazing things happening and you and you have
- 11:34Speaker 1: this whole new chapter in front of you, and that's
- 11:36Speaker 1: something to be thankful for. But I get it now
- 11:39Speaker 1: when you said they there speaks and valleys right now,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I get it. It makes sense. Yeah, and I'm learning.
- 11:44Speaker 1: When I talked to have an amazing therapist, and when
- 11:47Speaker 1: I talked to her, she says, there's always this thing
- 11:50Speaker 1: with um, you can it can be two things at once.
- 11:53Speaker 1: I can be going through one of the undoubtedly hardest
- 11:57Speaker 1: times in my life right now, but also have some
- 12:00Speaker 1: really amazing moments and be thriving as well, and on
- 12:03Speaker 1: a path of thriving for my own personal health. So
- 12:07Speaker 1: they both can exist coexisting one and that that's proof
- 12:10Speaker 1: of it, I guess. Well from all of us here
- 12:14Speaker 1: before we jump into the breakdown, UM, we we continue
- 12:18Speaker 1: to wish for healing for you, you know, romantically. Um,
- 12:23Speaker 1: you know, when it comes to new relationships. You made
- 12:24Speaker 1: a great point and so many people are going to
- 12:26Speaker 1: hear that and just completely lash onto it that you know,
- 12:29Speaker 1: the hardest relationship is often the one that's after the
- 12:31Speaker 1: one that hurt you the most because you have to
- 12:34Speaker 1: unlearn things. And I get that. Someone listening get that,
- 12:38Speaker 1: and uh, but there is I mean, there's so much
- 12:40Speaker 1: beauty two when you can look back on that pain
- 12:43Speaker 1: and be like, oh no, like I made it through
- 12:45Speaker 1: and I'm better for it. Um. So yeah, we just
- 12:48Speaker 1: we wish healing for you, and we also be thinking
- 12:50Speaker 1: about your mother. Claire again, thank you for co hosting
- 12:53Speaker 1: this with me. We're gonna take a quick break and
- 12:54Speaker 1: we come back. We're gonna change gears quite a bit.
- 12:57Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about Clayton as the Bachelor and this
- 13:00Speaker 1: recent episode of the Bachelor before we take a break,
- 13:03Speaker 1: clear any advice for Clayton, I feel like you could
- 13:06Speaker 1: just give it to him right now. What would be
- 13:07Speaker 1: your one advice to him? Are we talking present? Are
- 13:11Speaker 1: we talking on the show? Uh? Let's do both, because
- 13:18Speaker 1: I think there's a lot of I think actually one
- 13:20Speaker 1: and the same. Honestly, the best advice I can give
- 13:24Speaker 1: to him is stay true to who you are and
- 13:27Speaker 1: really focus on your own mental health and whatever that
- 13:31Speaker 1: takes doing, whether it be having supported your friends, having
- 13:35Speaker 1: supported a therapist, your family. Really lean into that. Because
- 13:39Speaker 1: this is a really trying time on the show, watching
- 13:44Speaker 1: it back, going through it, watching the editing. It is
- 13:48Speaker 1: not for the faith of heart to be on that
- 13:50Speaker 1: side of it, um And I think he really just
- 13:54Speaker 1: needs to focus on his mental health and focus put
- 13:56Speaker 1: a lot of energy into that because the audience, I
- 14:00Speaker 1: think can be very harsh, and I think it's just
- 14:04Speaker 1: getting harder and harder with social media through through the years.
- 14:08Speaker 1: So to really focus on himself, that's my biggest piece
- 14:10Speaker 1: of advice. Well, I hope he listens to this and
- 14:13Speaker 1: I hope he hears it. All Right, We'll be back
- 14:15Speaker 1: with Claire as the co host on the Almost Famous podcast. Alright, Claire,
- 14:29Speaker 1: I'm assuming you've watched at least a few episodes this season.
- 14:32Speaker 1: You don't have to have watched them all, but how
- 14:34Speaker 1: many have you watched this season so far? I will
- 14:37Speaker 1: be honest, this is the first season I'm actually doubling
- 14:41Speaker 1: back into because I think I had a little PTSD
- 14:43Speaker 1: for a minute. But we are back in the game.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I'm watching for sure, and I've seen I've seen the
- 14:48Speaker 1: last few episodes, so I'm ready to get into it. Okay, perfect, Well,
- 14:53Speaker 1: this this is exciting. You know we've we've I've missed
- 14:56Speaker 1: one episode this season, but I caught up through the
- 14:59Speaker 1: notes any that was two weeks ago. I'm I'm into
- 15:01Speaker 1: this season, Claire, uh, And I want to before we
- 15:04Speaker 1: dive into the episode, I want to know your thoughts.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Are you enjoying it? Like? Are you watching it because
- 15:10Speaker 1: you're having fun with it? Are you watching it because
- 15:11Speaker 1: your feel like, well, you know, you just have to
- 15:14Speaker 1: because you were the Bachelor at one point? By knowings,
- 15:18Speaker 1: I think, do we have to watch this? But I
- 15:20Speaker 1: think it's it's easy to watch because there's so much relatability.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Is after I work relatability within these episodes and with
- 15:31Speaker 1: all these women. It's kind of like that fly on
- 15:32Speaker 1: the wall of really what women go through, not necessarily
- 15:37Speaker 1: obviously everybody's not always in this position, but the things
- 15:41Speaker 1: that go through people's minds, insecurities. And I think I
- 15:44Speaker 1: actually watched because I know we all know it's edited,
- 15:47Speaker 1: we all know kind of like the strategy behind things,
- 15:51Speaker 1: and I think it's pretty transparent to see that kind
- 15:54Speaker 1: of thing, and it's it's a entertaining, entertaining thing to watch,
- 15:57Speaker 1: but you really get to see kind of the spoken things,
- 16:00Speaker 1: and that's what I look for. I see girls are
- 16:03Speaker 1: dogging each other, when girls are throwing each other under
- 16:05Speaker 1: the other under the bus, I don't know, it's it's
- 16:10Speaker 1: it says a lot about these people individually and how
- 16:13Speaker 1: much growth they have to go through, and maybe watching
- 16:16Speaker 1: it back it can help them learn this stuff. Well,
- 16:18Speaker 1: I mean, that's the question that so many people are
- 16:20Speaker 1: gonna ask, and it is typically I would say, always
- 16:26Speaker 1: uh an excuse, not always the like the absolute excuse
- 16:32Speaker 1: that covers everything. But you know, people get off the show,
- 16:35Speaker 1: they don't look great. People are criticizing them, which hurts,
- 16:38Speaker 1: and like there's that fine line between having fun with
- 16:41Speaker 1: this and and you know, nagging and watching it as
- 16:44Speaker 1: a fan and also or like trying to ruin somebody's life,
- 16:47Speaker 1: which is never okay and no matter, it's never alright.
- 16:50Speaker 1: But typically the response is oh, it's edited, right. We
- 16:54Speaker 1: hear it every season. The villain says, oh, yeah, but
- 16:57Speaker 1: but it's editing. How much you've been a part of
- 16:59Speaker 1: this show, how much of this story is edited? Because
- 17:04Speaker 1: it's hard for me as I'm watching, like, they can't
- 17:06Speaker 1: edit out her coming to the cocktail party, taking a
- 17:09Speaker 1: trophy and throwing it like she didn't need to do that, honestly.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Then this is what I was going to talk to you,
- 17:15Speaker 1: like ask you about because we all know about the editing. Obviously,
- 17:20Speaker 1: you cannot take X amount of time and cut it
- 17:23Speaker 1: into one or two hours and expected to just flow
- 17:26Speaker 1: easily to make sense. So it's going to be edited naturally.
- 17:29Speaker 1: But I'm seeing the I t m the interviews, and
- 17:34Speaker 1: I'm watching, like, I get that you can kind of
- 17:37Speaker 1: piecings together and encourage or catch somebody on a bad day.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I get that, But a lot of stuff that she's
- 17:45Speaker 1: sang is just not acceptable period, I think as a woman,
- 17:49Speaker 1: and this is there's a difference between the edited villain
- 17:55Speaker 1: and somebody who's just outright being nasty. What are your
- 17:59Speaker 1: thoughts and that? Like what do you think about that?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Like do you see are you paying attention to all
- 18:04Speaker 1: that stuff that she sang as well in the interviews. Yeah,
- 18:06Speaker 1: it's always the shocking part, right, I mean this was
- 18:08Speaker 1: the best one. This one was when she came to
- 18:10Speaker 1: the cocktail party, apologized and then very clearly like you
- 18:13Speaker 1: can't edit somebody saying I just played all these women,
- 18:17Speaker 1: Like all these women just got the best acting job
- 18:20Speaker 1: they've ever seen out of me, and now they're on
- 18:23Speaker 1: my side again, Like, I mean that stuff's not right.
- 18:26Speaker 1: And I think as a fan, again, you don't want
- 18:29Speaker 1: to crush her. She's on a show, she signed up
- 18:31Speaker 1: for show, but as a fan of like, hey, she's
- 18:33Speaker 1: not the white right one for Clayton, Like she needs
- 18:35Speaker 1: to go home, Like she needs to figure that stuff
- 18:37Speaker 1: out on her own. Now, this is not okay to
- 18:39Speaker 1: the women involved. It's not making a more fun experience. Weird.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I was in um Pebble Beach or right, I guess
- 18:47Speaker 1: Carmel by the Sea this last week with Wells and
- 18:49Speaker 1: Dean and we were talking about this. Somebody came up
- 18:52Speaker 1: and asked, like, Hey, how edited is this show, which
- 18:54Speaker 1: gets asked every time a fan of the show comes
- 18:56Speaker 1: up to you every time, and we like did the
- 18:59Speaker 1: normal answer, like not that much, and then we came back.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I was like, do you guys really believe that? Like,
- 19:04Speaker 1: do you really believe that? And we talked about it
- 19:06Speaker 1: and we're like, no, we do. Because here's the thing.
- 19:08Speaker 1: I believe the show would love for every cast member
- 19:12Speaker 1: to become a villain at some point during the season.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I think they would love it if there was like
- 19:17Speaker 1: arguing and fighting and chaos and confusion and heartbreak all
- 19:21Speaker 1: those things going on. So the differences. Some people just
- 19:25Speaker 1: say no to it. They just are like, I'm not
- 19:27Speaker 1: gonna go make fun of that person. I'm not gonna
- 19:29Speaker 1: go to that group date. I didn't win my date.
- 19:32Speaker 1: This was the rules that were set up. I'm not
- 19:34Speaker 1: gonna like go and bash this person with with like negativity.
- 19:37Speaker 1: It's not me. I'm not gonna do it. You just
- 19:39Speaker 1: say no, and then what happens the producers going Okay, cool,
- 19:42Speaker 1: don't do it. But some people say, oh no, that
- 19:45Speaker 1: sounds awesome, like I want to make their day awful.
- 19:48Speaker 1: And that's I think where things get hard. Because I've
- 19:52Speaker 1: I've been in those environments, and I know some of
- 19:54Speaker 1: these villains are saying yes the things they should be
- 19:56Speaker 1: saying no to, even as the bachelor, and you can
- 19:59Speaker 1: probably say this is bachelor, right, there's things every day
- 20:02Speaker 1: that you probably put your foot down on and said,
- 20:04Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do it. It's not it's not the
- 20:06Speaker 1: way I'm gonna handle this situation. I mean, you're a
- 20:08Speaker 1: great example of it. You literally said, hey, I'm out
- 20:10Speaker 1: of here, and I'm you know, I found my man
- 20:12Speaker 1: and I'm out. Like there's there's no rules, and so
- 20:16Speaker 1: you just have to stand up for yourself and stand
- 20:18Speaker 1: up for who you are. Yeah, I think I think
- 20:21Speaker 1: too a lot of people in these women men that
- 20:24Speaker 1: go on these shows. It's I think a lot of them,
- 20:30Speaker 1: not a lot of them. I don't know about the
- 20:31Speaker 1: majority of what people are, but it's they know that
- 20:34Speaker 1: they're going to have fame from that. Right. You're gonna
- 20:36Speaker 1: have the followers, you're gonna know, you're gonna be talked about,
- 20:38Speaker 1: Your name is gonna be put out there. But at
- 20:40Speaker 1: what cost? When? Yeah, I'll get you that that five
- 20:43Speaker 1: minutes during the show and get the feedback and get
- 20:46Speaker 1: your name treining on that. But at the end of
- 20:48Speaker 1: the day, when you really sit back and go even
- 20:51Speaker 1: if it's a month from there, or a year from there,
- 20:54Speaker 1: or two years, three years, ten years down the line,
- 20:57Speaker 1: that's so like, have some into hegarty on. Not even
- 21:01Speaker 1: if it gets you five minutes of more TV time.
- 21:03Speaker 1: It's embarrassing. You know. Maybe that's the public service announcement
- 21:07Speaker 1: we need to give out in this podcast is I
- 21:08Speaker 1: will tell you right now one thing, five minutes of
- 21:11Speaker 1: fame is not fulfilling. It's not worth it. It's cool
- 21:14Speaker 1: when it happens to you, don't go chasing after it.
- 21:16Speaker 1: The second thing is, if you're going on this show
- 21:20Speaker 1: and this is the route you're gonna take to get
- 21:22Speaker 1: more followers, I'm telling you right now, there's zero benefit.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Like you might think there's a massive financial benefit. You
- 21:28Speaker 1: might think the world opens up to you and you
- 21:31Speaker 1: can be able to do whatever you want. I got
- 21:33Speaker 1: news for you. It's not the case. And so if
- 21:37Speaker 1: you're going on this show, try to do it well,
- 21:39Speaker 1: try to be respectful, because that's really the only benefit
- 21:42Speaker 1: you get from the show itself is maybe just maybe
- 21:48Speaker 1: some friendships, maybe a relationship, and possibly for a year,
- 21:52Speaker 1: maybe go on paradise and you have a great time there,
- 21:54Speaker 1: and maybe you have to do a couple of Instagram ads.
- 21:57Speaker 1: But then it ends. It ends, and that's it. It
- 22:00Speaker 1: ends when you walk out to dinner to hang out
- 22:03Speaker 1: with your friends or your mom and people are judging
- 22:06Speaker 1: you based on who you've shown to be and really
- 22:09Speaker 1: the words you said and what you've chosen to do there.
- 22:12Speaker 1: It's going to affect you period. You're it's gonna haunt you. Essentially,
- 22:18Speaker 1: what you don't, what you say, is going to haunt
- 22:20Speaker 1: you regardless. It haunts the people that don't even have
- 22:23Speaker 1: bad intentions, that aren't villains. A lot of things they
- 22:25Speaker 1: say and do haunt them. And it's it's like, you
- 22:28Speaker 1: have to be able to live with yourself. So I
- 22:31Speaker 1: oddly have like a weird amount of like this girl
- 22:36Speaker 1: just does not realize what she's getting herself into by
- 22:39Speaker 1: staying and doing the things that she's doing. You have
- 22:41Speaker 1: to be kind of heartless to not care and have
- 22:44Speaker 1: it not affect you long term. I agree. So here's
- 22:47Speaker 1: the thing, listeners, You're gonna watch it. It's not going
- 22:51Speaker 1: well for her. She's going to probably be eliminated. I
- 22:54Speaker 1: would assume jus at some point here soon, Uh, don't
- 22:58Speaker 1: double down. The pain of the world is going to
- 23:00Speaker 1: be enough, Like, don't double down on the criticism of
- 23:03Speaker 1: her to you know through social media, through the tweets
- 23:06Speaker 1: and all that it hurts deeply and she's I mean,
- 23:08Speaker 1: anybody comes from the show, it's just gonna have a
- 23:11Speaker 1: ton to learn, and that learning period happens right away,
- 23:15Speaker 1: like as it's airing, and so you know, our health,
- 23:19Speaker 1: the mental health of these people is very important, and
- 23:23Speaker 1: it's gonna be a really really hard time for any
- 23:25Speaker 1: villain that gets off this show. And you just don't
- 23:28Speaker 1: need to be somebody adds to it. You just don't
- 23:30Speaker 1: need to be one more person that tells them how
- 23:33Speaker 1: terrible they are, because we really don't know them as
- 23:36Speaker 1: a human and we don't know their intentions. So that's
- 23:39Speaker 1: my son, And honestly, to there, there is so much
- 23:45Speaker 1: like when it's almost it's very cringe e in like
- 23:49Speaker 1: a sad way to me when I see see this
- 23:53Speaker 1: type of like villain behavior happening. It's not because they're
- 23:55Speaker 1: happy people. It's not because they are feeling good about
- 23:59Speaker 1: themselves and confide it and unbothered by other people. This
- 24:02Speaker 1: to me, when I see this kind of like villain
- 24:05Speaker 1: behavior and words and this hurtful stuff, it clearly shows
- 24:09Speaker 1: that they are struggling with something within themselves. As it
- 24:12Speaker 1: is so exactly like you say to the public, do
- 24:16Speaker 1: not double down on these people. You have no idea
- 24:20Speaker 1: what they're going through, whether or not they said was
- 24:25Speaker 1: even awful or regardless of that they're going through. And
- 24:29Speaker 1: I think I'm I'm fully under the like belief that
- 24:33Speaker 1: a lot of people go into the show not really
- 24:35Speaker 1: not understanding all of it in entails, especially afterwards. You're
- 24:38Speaker 1: not a hated after a famous person going into this,
- 24:42Speaker 1: You're a regular human being with your own struggles. So yeah,
- 24:47Speaker 1: you're completely right. Well, that's obviously the first part of
- 24:50Speaker 1: the episode two. I mean the struggles, um, the women
- 24:54Speaker 1: in the house kind of uh, just being at uneasy
- 24:57Speaker 1: about it is really a start of the episode. But
- 24:59Speaker 1: then we get into the first one on one Day,
- 25:01Speaker 1: which Serene. Uh. It starts out with Serene jumping into
- 25:05Speaker 1: Clayton's arms, which is uh, just the most iconic over
- 25:08Speaker 1: the last five years seen in Bachelor history. Just always happens.
- 25:12Speaker 1: What were your thoughts on this day and what was
- 25:14Speaker 1: your expectations for this date before it happened. I actually
- 25:19Speaker 1: loved this date. I think dates like this are perfect
- 25:23Speaker 1: because it really gets to highlight what people love and
- 25:28Speaker 1: it gets to bring their personality out. And clearly this
- 25:30Speaker 1: is something that she's excited about. Something that she loves
- 25:32Speaker 1: is amusement parks, and so I feel like it's her
- 25:35Speaker 1: time to shine, you know. Yeah, and their connection is
- 25:39Speaker 1: fairly evident. I didn't know if they would have the
- 25:43Speaker 1: connection that probably either of them were hoping for when
- 25:47Speaker 1: the dates started, but over the date and through the
- 25:51Speaker 1: evening portion, like, the connection between them was definitely like
- 25:55Speaker 1: tangible and and it's almost like somebody that's stuck up
- 25:59Speaker 1: on us because we just haven't seen a lot from her,
- 26:01Speaker 1: because we haven't seen a lot from anybody other than
- 26:03Speaker 1: you know, the drama going down and some teddy scenes
- 26:06Speaker 1: at the very beginning. So I didn't know, but I
- 26:11Speaker 1: do think there's something there. I do expect her to
- 26:13Speaker 1: be around a while I did. I definitely think that
- 26:16Speaker 1: there's something there, especially because when your guard is down
- 26:20Speaker 1: and you're like doing these roller coasters and doing all
- 26:22Speaker 1: these things that you can't really be poised at. You're
- 26:26Speaker 1: at your rost and when you're vulnerable, and obviously he
- 26:32Speaker 1: clinged to me to look like he was nervous on
- 26:34Speaker 1: these so I feel like it was it was a
- 26:38Speaker 1: space for them to kind of connect on. And when
- 26:40Speaker 1: you have your guard down, you're vulnerable and you can
- 26:42Speaker 1: connect on that level. I think that's the best space
- 26:45Speaker 1: to be in because it's it's an openness that you
- 26:47Speaker 1: can have there. I felt that they had definite chemistry.
- 26:52Speaker 1: You know, she was my next bachelor at choice when
- 26:54Speaker 1: the season started. Well she really I love her. Yeah,
- 26:58Speaker 1: I mean I thought they would go, you know, why
- 27:00Speaker 1: not double times? Like the teacher worked out last season.
- 27:04Speaker 1: She was calm, she was confident, she was a leader.
- 27:07Speaker 1: She helped navigate this whole thing really well. And I thought, Okay, like,
- 27:11Speaker 1: go for the teacher again like she worked before. Why
- 27:14Speaker 1: not again? I would love to see a teacher, you know,
- 27:16Speaker 1: take some time to find love. So she was my pick.
- 27:20Speaker 1: I don't know right now, uh, just because it's so difficult.
- 27:26Speaker 1: We haven't seen enough yet to say, oh, yeah, no,
- 27:28Speaker 1: she's gonna be around with Clayton at the end. But
- 27:31Speaker 1: if she's not, I liked her. I think she's great,
- 27:35Speaker 1: and I think she She brought an ease to the
- 27:37Speaker 1: show that was needed during this episode because it was
- 27:40Speaker 1: so much other stuff going on. I thought she like
- 27:43Speaker 1: transcended through the issues. I think this is this date
- 27:47Speaker 1: is exactly what the show is made up to me
- 27:50Speaker 1: Aside from the drama, this is what I love to
- 27:52Speaker 1: watch on the shows is actually seeing people doing adventurous things,
- 27:57Speaker 1: doing things that they are out of their element in
- 27:59Speaker 1: and just falling in love, I guess you could say,
- 28:02Speaker 1: and seeing that part of it is what what I
- 28:05Speaker 1: love to see. Well, then we transfer transfer out of
- 28:09Speaker 1: this one on one date. She obviously got the rose
- 28:11Speaker 1: just like you don't remember this uh into the cocktail
- 28:15Speaker 1: party where Clayton shows up to talk to the women,
- 28:17Speaker 1: he pulls uh some of the women aside to speak
- 28:19Speaker 1: with them. He also then gets time to speak with
- 28:23Speaker 1: she a one on one about everything going on within
- 28:25Speaker 1: the house and all the things that are being discussed.
- 28:29Speaker 1: So they have this conversation. All right, we don't need
- 28:31Speaker 1: to pick out it. We kind of talked a lot
- 28:32Speaker 1: about this situation before. But my question within this conversation
- 28:36Speaker 1: with you, did you get the sense during it? Because
- 28:41Speaker 1: I didn't, and I thought I would that she is
- 28:44Speaker 1: actually into Clayton, like that she's doing, like that she
- 28:48Speaker 1: was talking to him because she cared about him or
- 28:51Speaker 1: just cared about being around. I don't know what her
- 28:54Speaker 1: intentions are yet, but I was not convinced that she's
- 28:56Speaker 1: that into him from this conversation, So I went into
- 28:59Speaker 1: it feeling like exactly when I saw this part, I
- 29:03Speaker 1: felt like she was not into him. But I kind
- 29:06Speaker 1: of see and I could be totally wrong, a deeper
- 29:11Speaker 1: sense of unworthiness and like an insecurity that she almost
- 29:15Speaker 1: It's it's like a self protective thing that I think
- 29:17Speaker 1: she's doing. So I think she might be into him,
- 29:20Speaker 1: but I very much think that this is obviously the
- 29:23Speaker 1: wrong way to go about it. I don't know it
- 29:25Speaker 1: just it doesn't She keeps talking about. One thing that
- 29:29Speaker 1: rubs me the wrong way is I hate when people
- 29:31Speaker 1: say the word winning this show, because then it really
- 29:35Speaker 1: makes it like this competition, competition, and it's not about winning.
- 29:40Speaker 1: It's like either it is or it isn't. Oh, you're
- 29:44Speaker 1: spot on, Yeah, the winning side of this doesn't make sense.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I don't know what you're winning because if you win,
- 29:49Speaker 1: if you win an engagement at the end of this
- 29:51Speaker 1: and you don't really like the person. I'm telling you
- 29:53Speaker 1: right now from experience, you know, that's not winning. That
- 29:57Speaker 1: makes it really hard for the next few years of
- 29:59Speaker 1: your life, for the next couple months of your life
- 30:01Speaker 1: as you're like trying to plan a life together. So
- 30:03Speaker 1: there's no winning unless you're really into the human Can
- 30:07Speaker 1: I get an amen on that? I mean, and like
- 30:10Speaker 1: I had the benefit of being like, hey, I think
- 30:12Speaker 1: this is gonna work. I think you did too, Like
- 30:14Speaker 1: I think this is yeah, this is I actually was
- 30:16Speaker 1: like into it. I can't imagine faking it. But at
- 30:19Speaker 1: some point get hard. Yeah, they get really hard. So
- 30:23Speaker 1: you're not winning if you're not in a good relationship.
- 30:26Speaker 1: They just that's not a fun season of life. It's
- 30:29Speaker 1: not enjoyable. It hurt. Honestly, there's no purpose to that
- 30:34Speaker 1: because there are people who are looking for a relationship,
- 30:38Speaker 1: who really want to fall in love and who want
- 30:41Speaker 1: to start that part of their life with somebody and
- 30:43Speaker 1: who are open to that. So I don't know winning.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I hate that you're winning with within the show. Yeah,
- 30:50Speaker 1: I doesn't make sense to me. Well, okay, so she comes.
- 30:53Speaker 1: We talked about it leaves the conversation with Clayton. He
- 30:56Speaker 1: kisses her. I think he's into her. I think he is.
- 31:00Speaker 1: He's definitely into this relationship. But she comes and talks
- 31:02Speaker 1: to the girls, uh following this conversation with Clayton and apologizes.
- 31:06Speaker 1: At that point is when we see her uh saying, hey,
- 31:10Speaker 1: I faked it. I was acting because I'm not putting
- 31:12Speaker 1: words in her mouth. She literally said, I'm acting. That
- 31:14Speaker 1: was in a performance of a lifetime. I convinced everybody
- 31:18Speaker 1: else done that. Then sorry to catch you office if
- 31:20Speaker 1: you've done that in the past. I feel like this
- 31:22Speaker 1: is an extreme version of we all think that that's
- 31:25Speaker 1: kind of what to certain people, but like somebody that
- 31:28Speaker 1: is this forward about it, I mean, give her credit.
- 31:32Speaker 1: At least she's owning it to the audience that's watching.
- 31:35Speaker 1: She's not owning it to the women. Yeah. I don't
- 31:38Speaker 1: remember a specific time where somebody has done this where
- 31:41Speaker 1: they've just literally admitted, hey, I lied to everybody in
- 31:44Speaker 1: that room. I just lied to just stick around. Maybe
- 31:46Speaker 1: we would have appreciated if people would be more honest
- 31:49Speaker 1: than and say their intentions from the jump, right. I mean,
- 31:52Speaker 1: I wish you would have done it to the women
- 31:53Speaker 1: like been like, hey, I'm gonna say this and I
- 31:55Speaker 1: don't mean any of it, but I'm gonna apologize to you.
- 31:58Speaker 1: I'm just here for a good time. Like that's I'm
- 32:01Speaker 1: gonna start this. And then she goes into apology. She
- 32:03Speaker 1: hasn't yet done it to a woman, so there is
- 32:05Speaker 1: that thing that side of it, and I'm like, yeah,
- 32:06Speaker 1: that's not fair, but at least she's admitting it to
- 32:09Speaker 1: the audience. She's also with these I T M s.
- 32:13Speaker 1: She's admitting it to the producers, which if you've ever
- 32:17Speaker 1: been on this show, the one thing you try to
- 32:19Speaker 1: do the whole time is to hide as much from
- 32:21Speaker 1: the producers as possible for as long as possible, because
- 32:25Speaker 1: whatever you say and do it's definitely gonna be used
- 32:28Speaker 1: against you in the court of the bachelor. Of course,
- 32:31Speaker 1: you gotta keep your game face on. So she lost
- 32:35Speaker 1: the game face. I don't think this gets easier for her.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Uh And we see some stuff later on the episode
- 32:40Speaker 1: that we'll get too. Well. At the rose ceremony is over.
- 32:44Speaker 1: At this point, Clayton gives a rose to Sarah Marlena, Genevieve, Mara, Gabby, Susie,
- 32:51Speaker 1: Eliza Hunter, and Chennai, Jill Sierra and Lindsay go home.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Clayton ends the Rose ceremony by being very excited I did,
- 33:00Speaker 1: saying they're traveling internationally to one of the best cities
- 33:03Speaker 1: I believe in the world. Though it's not very far,
- 33:06Speaker 1: but it's a good city, Toronto, Canada. They're on their
- 33:10Speaker 1: way to Toronto, Canada. We're gonna talk about Toronto and
- 33:13Speaker 1: all the days that happened right after we take a break.
- 33:25Speaker 1: The first one on one in Toronto, Canada is with Gabby.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Gabby is a sweet soul. She is definitely one in
- 33:33Speaker 1: my opinion, that is not at all flustered by the
- 33:37Speaker 1: cameras around her. However, she's admitting multiple times to Clayton,
- 33:41Speaker 1: I'm crazy. I'm absolutely bonkers. You don't want to know
- 33:45Speaker 1: what's going on up in my head, is what she
- 33:48Speaker 1: says to Clayton Claire as a woman. Should Clayton be
- 33:53Speaker 1: seeing that as a red flag? Or is that endearing
- 33:56Speaker 1: and cute? I find it very endearing and very cute.
- 34:02Speaker 1: I think this woman is self deprecating and kind of putting.
- 34:08Speaker 1: I don't I actually don't think she's crazy at all.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I think she's putting her stuff out there and kind
- 34:13Speaker 1: of being like, this is who I am. This is
- 34:15Speaker 1: who I am, and I want I want to show
- 34:17Speaker 1: you the hard parts and the parts that I'm not
- 34:18Speaker 1: so proud of, like this is who I am. And
- 34:21Speaker 1: I think I actually think she uses the word crazy
- 34:25Speaker 1: loosely because she's goofy at, outgoing and gregarious and just
- 34:30Speaker 1: kind of like crazy, you know, like I don't always
- 34:34Speaker 1: find crazy as something negative. No, And typically my life, Claire,
- 34:39Speaker 1: any human that can admit to me that they're a
- 34:41Speaker 1: little crazy is typically the least crazy of anybody I
- 34:45Speaker 1: ever meet, Like right, yeah, like the people are like, yeah,
- 34:49Speaker 1: I have nothing wrong with me. I'm really normal. Is
- 34:51Speaker 1: at some point when things switch and you're like, oh
- 34:54Speaker 1: my goodness. So I found it endearing. I did. I
- 34:58Speaker 1: think she was nervous, so she probably tried to double
- 35:00Speaker 1: down on a few more times, like she kind of
- 35:02Speaker 1: like tried to convince him. He's like, I'm sure you're great.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Like you know, what do you say to somebody's like
- 35:06Speaker 1: I'm crazy, You're like, oh that's cool, Like so am
- 35:09Speaker 1: I But I don't think that. I don't think she's
- 35:11Speaker 1: sitting down being like just so you know, I'm crazy.
- 35:17Speaker 1: She's like, I'm just crazy, Like I I think it's
- 35:19Speaker 1: so endearing, and you see it through the date. You
- 35:22Speaker 1: see it from the start to the finish, and when
- 35:24Speaker 1: like they're you know, the nerves are loosened up a
- 35:26Speaker 1: bit and they start hanging out and they start talking,
- 35:28Speaker 1: you see them connect and like have a lot of
- 35:30Speaker 1: fun together. And I think Clayton said, I think one
- 35:33Speaker 1: of his voiceovers, like what I loved about this date
- 35:35Speaker 1: was just how relaxed it was, because I think she
- 35:38Speaker 1: did a great job at kind of calming everyone's nerves.
- 35:41Speaker 1: She's like, Hey, I'm gonna let you know right now
- 35:43Speaker 1: who I am. We're gonna have a blast here today.
- 35:46Speaker 1: I'm so glad you invited me on this date, and
- 35:48Speaker 1: let's just have fun. And I think they did, and
- 35:50Speaker 1: I think Clayton needed it so like it was one
- 35:52Speaker 1: of his better dates so far as the Bachelor, because
- 35:55Speaker 1: he does seem so uptight or nervous sometimes. I feel
- 35:59Speaker 1: like this one he was really like starting to loosen
- 36:01Speaker 1: up a bit. I think you had fun with it.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I agree to, And I actually think watching this date,
- 36:07Speaker 1: I feel like as crazy as she calls herself or
- 36:10Speaker 1: as crazy as she can be, like rocket out role,
- 36:14Speaker 1: I actually think that watching it. She seems very grounding
- 36:18Speaker 1: and very calming, and I think when you peel back
- 36:22Speaker 1: that those layers of I mean, I'm sure you've heard
- 36:26Speaker 1: it too, where all comedians always have like the deepest
- 36:30Speaker 1: issues and the darkest paths of things, and they struggle
- 36:33Speaker 1: the most with a lot of things. That's why they
- 36:35Speaker 1: make light of it and laugh about it because it's
- 36:37Speaker 1: the easiest thing to do when you are feeling heavy. Um.
- 36:41Speaker 1: But she it's her go to move to be kind
- 36:45Speaker 1: of like crazy and funding and outgoing and everything. But
- 36:47Speaker 1: she definitely has those layers to her that I think
- 36:51Speaker 1: are super grounding and super humbling and and really real.
- 36:56Speaker 1: I guess it's a part of the show. I like watching.
- 36:58Speaker 1: You got to see real human or real humans interact.
- 37:01Speaker 1: You know, real humans try to date and it's awkward.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Dating is so weird and it's hard at times, and
- 37:07Speaker 1: you get to see two humans try it out. And
- 37:09Speaker 1: I think that's this is the stuff that I'm really
- 37:12Speaker 1: wanting to get more into. Is the season progresses is like, Hey,
- 37:15Speaker 1: I want to know your quirky side. I want to
- 37:17Speaker 1: know the things that you're insecure. But one of the
- 37:19Speaker 1: things that you're super confident in let's see if you're
- 37:21Speaker 1: a match for Clayton and well, I think after this date,
- 37:25Speaker 1: I believe Gabby and Clayton both feel like, hey there's
- 37:27Speaker 1: something here. So hey, he's two for two on one
- 37:31Speaker 1: on ones this week. But then we have a group date.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Everybody left in the house. There's nine or eleven women
- 37:38Speaker 1: in the house. Nine women on this date. Genevieve and
- 37:40Speaker 1: Gene are left off of the group date list. The
- 37:44Speaker 1: group date happens. This is such a dangerous group date.
- 37:48Speaker 1: First off, here's the concept personal. Peter is a Canadian
- 37:50Speaker 1: comedian walks into the room. He's also known for his
- 37:54Speaker 1: roasting expertise. He's really good at making fun of people.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Is what a roast really is, And so obviously the
- 38:01Speaker 1: women are gonna start making fun of themselves. Clayton Jesse
- 38:05Speaker 1: at times the host of the show. Now what I
- 38:09Speaker 1: get really nervous for these dates, Claire Same. I don't
- 38:13Speaker 1: like the idea of them. I think they're funny at times,
- 38:16Speaker 1: Like you've seen some seasons where people crush it and
- 38:19Speaker 1: like nobody's really offended and it's just kind of funny.
- 38:22Speaker 1: But traditionally, and typically these dates are always end people
- 38:27Speaker 1: being really mad at each other. Of course, it's we
- 38:30Speaker 1: had a roast on our on my season, and it
- 38:34Speaker 1: was so uncomfortable because it's I fully agree this is
- 38:39Speaker 1: there's one thing between like a good riff and a
- 38:42Speaker 1: good roast. But this house and in this environment, it's
- 38:46Speaker 1: personal and it's not just comedy and jokes. It's really
- 38:51Speaker 1: taking digs at people. And you can see how it
- 38:56Speaker 1: goes from joking about, you know, lighthearted things to actually,
- 38:59Speaker 1: really we've taken some digs and it's just like, this
- 39:04Speaker 1: is not it's just it's cringe e to me. It's
- 39:07Speaker 1: so cringe e to me. I feel awful. I feel
- 39:10Speaker 1: awful watching it, and I just it's not funny to
- 39:14Speaker 1: me actually, to be honest, well no, it's just there's
- 39:17Speaker 1: really no way it's gonna end well. But they do
- 39:19Speaker 1: take some diggs at Clayton. He definitely is a part
- 39:22Speaker 1: of most people's jokes, mostly about his failed NFL career,
- 39:25Speaker 1: which is funny to me because I still talk about
- 39:27Speaker 1: my high school football career. So the fact that he
- 39:30Speaker 1: made it to the NFL at all feels like a
- 39:32Speaker 1: massive accomplishment to me. But maybe I'm just crazy, but
- 39:35Speaker 1: that doesn't really feel like a failure to me whatsoever.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Uh So they make some fun of Clayton, they make
- 39:41Speaker 1: fun of Jesse seeing him and Clayton look exactly alike.
- 39:44Speaker 1: But then it starts sweeping through the house. At this
- 39:47Speaker 1: point in time, Claire, if you're the lead of this season,
- 39:52Speaker 1: you would think Clayton is starting to pick up that
- 39:54Speaker 1: there is an issue with Cheney, that it's not just
- 39:57Speaker 1: the one on one issue, that there's multiple women that
- 39:59Speaker 1: are like, hey, this is just not good for us.
- 40:03Speaker 1: It's very I mean, if if one good thing came
- 40:05Speaker 1: for the roast, at least I hope he has uh
- 40:08Speaker 1: an idea of one the women's personalities within the house,
- 40:11Speaker 1: and too that there's issues within the house that he
- 40:14Speaker 1: needs to be made aware of. And I thought this
- 40:16Speaker 1: is a good opportunity to do it. Would you have
- 40:18Speaker 1: picked up on that if you were the lead, of course,
- 40:22Speaker 1: I think you can definitely see where people are taking
- 40:25Speaker 1: their digs. And clearly this girl was not even at
- 40:29Speaker 1: the roast, and they're just digging in and digging in
- 40:32Speaker 1: and digging in. I mean, it went from talking about
- 40:35Speaker 1: ib s to just I mean, it took it there,
- 40:40Speaker 1: I guess, but no, no no, no, it's it's hard to watch.
- 40:43Speaker 1: It's definitely hard to watch. But um, I don't know.
- 40:47Speaker 1: I yeah, it just cringes me. I'm all four timod ibs. Like,
- 40:52Speaker 1: if you want to make fun of like my stomach issues, Like,
- 40:55Speaker 1: if you want to make fun of like my like
- 40:57Speaker 1: my bodily issues, I'm cool with that, Like, please go
- 41:00Speaker 1: ahead and do it. Like I know it's weird just
- 41:03Speaker 1: as much as you do. So we're all on the
- 41:05Speaker 1: same page here. And if you're gonna tell millions of
- 41:07Speaker 1: people that I can't stay out of the bathroom, well, hey,
- 41:11Speaker 1: at least they know now, at least everybody about me,
- 41:15Speaker 1: So be it. We're human, we get it. It's the
- 41:18Speaker 1: personal stuff that starts to get weird. You know. There's
- 41:21Speaker 1: the age jokes, there was the channey stuff, and it
- 41:26Speaker 1: just started to feel a little heavier than maybe what
- 41:29Speaker 1: is ideally brought on from these group dates. But it
- 41:32Speaker 1: doesn't ruin the date because the cocktail party still goes
- 41:35Speaker 1: very well overall. There's still a great cocktail party. I
- 41:39Speaker 1: think Clayton connects with multiple women during the cocktail party.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Alliza is one of them that kind of stood out
- 41:44Speaker 1: to me. Um Rachel obviously, and then I'm gonna ask
- 41:50Speaker 1: you who do you think had the best move during
- 41:53Speaker 1: the cocktail party. I know that names are not like
- 41:55Speaker 1: the easiest thing right now, so if you just want
- 41:57Speaker 1: to explain the scene, I'll probably able to give you
- 41:58Speaker 1: the name. But who stood out to you during the
- 42:00Speaker 1: cocktail party? Shelly? I and I got that correct, right,
- 42:07Speaker 1: she got grabbed the mike. Susie, Susie, Shelly, Shelly there, Shelly.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I don't think so, but I was gonna go with
- 42:16Speaker 1: it until the end and then just correct you. But no,
- 42:17Speaker 1: it's Susie. Yeah. I thought that was a great scene.
- 42:19Speaker 1: So why did you like it so much? I loved
- 42:23Speaker 1: Susie's approach. First of all, I just love her. I
- 42:26Speaker 1: think she's super composed. Um, I love that. I think, yeah,
- 42:32Speaker 1: I'm all for like a taxil roast and like a
- 42:35Speaker 1: playful banter. But she followed it up with a lot
- 42:38Speaker 1: of positivity and a lot of really good reinforcing things
- 42:41Speaker 1: that yes, it's all funny games when we joke around,
- 42:44Speaker 1: but this is actually what I really do like about you.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I thought that that was really cute of her to do,
- 42:50Speaker 1: and um, kind of a good a good move because
- 42:53Speaker 1: it how do you have been regardless of who you are,
- 42:58Speaker 1: to be roasted hurts on some level, and they roasted
- 43:02Speaker 1: Clayton pretty hard. So I think he needed that not
- 43:04Speaker 1: only from her, but I think his ego needed it too,
- 43:08Speaker 1: just to kind of like make him feel a little
- 43:10Speaker 1: bit better. So it was a good movie. Yeah, I
- 43:11Speaker 1: don't know if he You know, the one thing about
- 43:13Speaker 1: Clayton that I think I could probably guess is I
- 43:18Speaker 1: don't think his ego is like thriving right now being
- 43:21Speaker 1: the Bachelor. As we watched filming, I think he's kind
- 43:23Speaker 1: of feeling crushed. I think he's probably feeling confused. I
- 43:27Speaker 1: don't know if the connections with the women are as
- 43:30Speaker 1: strong is what we even see on TV, and so
- 43:33Speaker 1: I think he's probably like hurting. So for Susie to
- 43:36Speaker 1: do this is an incredible move, and it's also a
- 43:39Speaker 1: move that you learned during marriage. Right You say something
- 43:43Speaker 1: that you didn't really mean and you're joking and you
- 43:46Speaker 1: thought it was gonna be funny and it didn't land
- 43:47Speaker 1: with your partner, and then you gotta figure out a
- 43:50Speaker 1: way to apologize. But you just don't want to go
- 43:52Speaker 1: and say I'm sorry. You gotta try to like kind
- 43:54Speaker 1: of fix it and show how much you love them.
- 43:57Speaker 1: And this is kind of how you do it. You
- 43:58Speaker 1: go and you maybe bring to the situation you say, hey,
- 44:01Speaker 1: I know I said that, but this is how I
- 44:03Speaker 1: really feel. I thought it was a great move for Susie.
- 44:06Speaker 1: I think it's gonna I think it was a sign
- 44:08Speaker 1: of things to come. She's in my top three at
- 44:10Speaker 1: this point. I don't think she going home anytime soon.
- 44:13Speaker 1: But here's a crazy part. She did not get the
- 44:16Speaker 1: group date Rose. Rachel got the group date Rose. We
- 44:19Speaker 1: didn't really see a ton um. We got to see
- 44:23Speaker 1: like some conversations between it, but we don't really get
- 44:25Speaker 1: to see why she got the group day Rose. There
- 44:27Speaker 1: was definitely some great people involved. I thought Eliza could
- 44:30Speaker 1: have got it um, but she did. Rachel got the
- 44:33Speaker 1: group day Rose. She will be here another week. Well, Claire,
- 44:37Speaker 1: I feel like I know why Rachel about the group date.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Tell outside looking in on the tidbit that we saw.
- 44:45Speaker 1: To me, they have mad chemistry, mad chemistry, and I
- 44:50Speaker 1: think I can see it when he looks at her,
- 44:54Speaker 1: how he looks at her. He looks like he just
- 44:56Speaker 1: wants to eat her face to h And I think
- 45:02Speaker 1: that alone, especially from men like that goes far, you know,
- 45:07Speaker 1: chemistry does go far, and so he's so enough. Yeah,
- 45:13Speaker 1: I mean they were a little chit chatting, but then
- 45:16Speaker 1: it was like shut up and kiss me. You know.
- 45:19Speaker 1: She's like, I don't even care what you're saying. I
- 45:20Speaker 1: just I just want to be kissing you right now. Yeah. Well,
- 45:24Speaker 1: good for him, good for her. I think it takes
- 45:26Speaker 1: a lot of the stress for what's going on to
- 45:28Speaker 1: and a lot of the like pressure to have these
- 45:30Speaker 1: intense conversations. That takes a lot of the pressure of that.
- 45:34Speaker 1: And if he likes kissing her, right, if he's into it,
- 45:37Speaker 1: then like he's he'll go home at least after that day.
- 45:41Speaker 1: I know those evenings you go home and you think
- 45:43Speaker 1: through the day, you're like, oh, man, I kissed her.
- 45:46Speaker 1: She's gonna have to go home to like she's great,
- 45:48Speaker 1: but I just like it's not working there. But if
- 45:51Speaker 1: he's kissing her and he's going home and he's like,
- 45:53Speaker 1: holy cow, like this is good, right, didn't he straight
- 45:59Speaker 1: say I can't always think about you. I can't stop
- 46:02Speaker 1: thinking about you. You're all my mind all the time. Yeah,
- 46:05Speaker 1: that's that's a sign. That was a good pick up there. Claire,
- 46:08Speaker 1: nice job, because yes, that's that's a comment you make
- 46:11Speaker 1: during this show because there's so much going on and
- 46:15Speaker 1: there's so much time that you don't see that person.
- 46:17Speaker 1: You say it because you can't say too much. You
- 46:19Speaker 1: say it to let them know just how into them
- 46:22Speaker 1: you are. And I think he's really into it totally. Well,
- 46:28Speaker 1: obviously we in the episode with a cliffhanger. Literally, Genevieve
- 46:32Speaker 1: and Sanai are on the two on one day. The
- 46:35Speaker 1: only thing I really want to bring up here is,
- 46:38Speaker 1: you know, the women are very much in favor of
- 46:41Speaker 1: gen Nevieve coming back. Uh, Clayton's very stressed about this.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Day too. On ones are not ideal, They're very awkward,
- 46:49Speaker 1: But Shane says, like some things that just aren't good,
- 46:53Speaker 1: Let's be honest. She says that Genevieve is pretty much
- 46:56Speaker 1: gonna be thrown off the side of the waterfall that
- 46:59Speaker 1: you she hopes she can swim mhm, and that one
- 47:02Speaker 1: more girl is going to be going down because of her.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Why does she keep saying she's the one sending them
- 47:10Speaker 1: the home, by the way, last time I checked, she's
- 47:12Speaker 1: not the one sending them home, Like, where does she
- 47:14Speaker 1: get this entitlement of I don't know that blows my
- 47:17Speaker 1: mind hearing yet I agree, And that's pretty much what
- 47:19Speaker 1: I want to ask you is where where is her
- 47:21Speaker 1: mind at? If you could again, maybe if you put
- 47:24Speaker 1: yourself in clayton shoes and you're trying to figure out
- 47:27Speaker 1: who you're going to send home on this to one
- 47:28Speaker 1: wonder how are you going to navigate this date to
- 47:31Speaker 1: try to make it beneficial for the parties involved? Like
- 47:35Speaker 1: what are you reading into with Shai right now? What
- 47:38Speaker 1: are you seeing and how she's what she's saying, and
- 47:40Speaker 1: how she's behaving, and if you're the lead, how would
- 47:43Speaker 1: you have handled it? Well? I think truthfully, we're seeing
- 47:48Speaker 1: this from an outside perspective. We're not seeing this from
- 47:50Speaker 1: Clayton's perspective, which he I'm pretty sure has gotten tid
- 47:56Speaker 1: bits of pieces obviously from the roast and stuff. I
- 47:58Speaker 1: don't think he's seeing the side of her personality that
- 48:00Speaker 1: we're all seen. So it's hard to say what because
- 48:05Speaker 1: I think he would be making a lot of different
- 48:07Speaker 1: choices at a lot of different times, maybe sooner or whatever,
- 48:10Speaker 1: if he had seen all this stuff. But he's not
- 48:13Speaker 1: seeing all of it, so us seeing it it's very
- 48:16Speaker 1: cringe e. But I think I don't know. I think
- 48:20Speaker 1: you kind of have to be at this point blind
- 48:23Speaker 1: to be if this stuff keeps popping up. Obviously it's
- 48:28Speaker 1: a two on one for a reason. Whether or not
- 48:31Speaker 1: he was the one who chose them to go on
- 48:32Speaker 1: this two on one, I think it's it's ah, he
- 48:35Speaker 1: knows what he's doing, and I think it's a smart move.
- 48:39Speaker 1: But it's scary for the girls, like how they have
- 48:42Speaker 1: no idea what's going to happen. It's really weird for
- 48:44Speaker 1: Genevieve because Genevieve's kind of stayed out of it, like
- 48:47Speaker 1: she hasn't been as involved as what I think even
- 48:50Speaker 1: the cameras have shown. And now she's on a two
- 48:53Speaker 1: on one day with the one person in the house
- 48:55Speaker 1: that everybody else in the house is upset over. She's
- 48:57Speaker 1: not got, she hasn't She's probably not feeling great about
- 49:00Speaker 1: her relationship with Clayton at this point. I can't imagine
- 49:02Speaker 1: she's like, oh, yeah, we're thriving. I will say this,
- 49:06Speaker 1: if Draft Kings had a bet on who was going home,
- 49:10Speaker 1: I would put my life savings on China going home.
- 49:14Speaker 1: From this date, there's no shot in my mind, after
- 49:18Speaker 1: the roast, after last week, after this group, after this
- 49:22Speaker 1: to on one day that she she makes it through.
- 49:24Speaker 1: I just cannot imagine that there's no way. And I
- 49:29Speaker 1: really do think people's true colors eventually kind of show through,
- 49:34Speaker 1: and I don't I think they definitely at the end
- 49:38Speaker 1: of this date show through. They have to clear That's
- 49:42Speaker 1: my guess. I don't know how could you you got
- 49:44Speaker 1: you got you gotta be blind to not see it.
- 49:46Speaker 1: You've got to be blind, or you've got to be
- 49:48Speaker 1: not putting your foot down. So the other side of this,
- 49:50Speaker 1: and this is how will close it is what could
- 49:52Speaker 1: be happening is and and again I have no problem
- 49:55Speaker 1: with this as a fan of the show, is the
- 49:57Speaker 1: producers could be like Cleveling, you're kind of interesting, aren't you.
- 50:00Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, she's good looking, she's good kiss her.
- 50:04Speaker 1: And they can come back to him and say, well,
- 50:06Speaker 1: you should keep around a lot, and he could say, yeah,
- 50:09Speaker 1: but all these women are having issues and it hasn't
- 50:12Speaker 1: been good since the beginning and the roads and all
- 50:14Speaker 1: this stuff, and they say yeah, but like who cares
- 50:18Speaker 1: what they think? It's up to you, And he could
- 50:20Speaker 1: be saying, you're right, I'm gonna keep her around because
- 50:24Speaker 1: he has I mean, because as much as he's seen it,
- 50:26Speaker 1: he's still blinding himself to it. And he also isn't
- 50:29Speaker 1: putting his foot down. And and that's what I want
- 50:31Speaker 1: to see with him, is is he going to stand
- 50:33Speaker 1: up and say no for the sake of the house,
- 50:35Speaker 1: for the women involved, for the Rachel's of this world
- 50:38Speaker 1: that I just am so into, for the Serenes of
- 50:41Speaker 1: this world that I'm so into. She's gonna go home
- 50:43Speaker 1: because it's not worth it. We'll see next week, right,
- 50:46Speaker 1: It's that's why it's a cliffhanger, t b D. We
- 50:50Speaker 1: shall see. I this is where we would come in
- 50:53Speaker 1: handy And I don't know. I'm sure a lot of
- 50:56Speaker 1: people know this, but it would be so nice to
- 50:58Speaker 1: have assist or a friend. Then you can call and
- 51:02Speaker 1: go what do you think I should do? And not
- 51:04Speaker 1: a producer who's going I should do it? You should
- 51:07Speaker 1: do it? You know, keep around. It would be very
- 51:10Speaker 1: nice to have a friend go what are you doing?
- 51:13Speaker 1: What are you doing? Step up? Be smarter? Uh? Well, Claire,
- 51:17Speaker 1: that's this week's episode. We're gonna take a break. When
- 51:19Speaker 1: we come back, we have Bachelor headlines to break down.
- 51:21Speaker 1: I haven't read through him yet. I don't know if
- 51:23Speaker 1: you're in any of them, but if you are, well,
- 51:26Speaker 1: come on, we're coming straight from the source. We'll be
- 51:28Speaker 1: back with Claire. On this week's episode of Almost Famous,
- 51:42Speaker 1: It's time for Bachelor Nation. The headlines are resident expert
- 51:46Speaker 1: Ashley can Edtie is well, Ashley I can Edtie Haven
- 51:49Speaker 1: is now a mom and unable to join us this week,
- 51:51Speaker 1: So Claire is sticking around and talking through these headlines
- 51:55Speaker 1: with us. The first headline is this Claire the Bachelor's
- 51:58Speaker 1: Elizabeth were again ask fans to stop sending hate to
- 52:02Speaker 1: Clayton after nai drama. So clear My question for you
- 52:08Speaker 1: is it The headline pretty much speaks to the article.
- 52:10Speaker 1: She's just asked people stop being mean. Do you agree
- 52:13Speaker 1: with this? Should they stop being mean to Clayton? Uh?
- 52:17Speaker 1: After last week's drama? One thousand percent? One thousand percent.
- 52:23Speaker 1: I don't care who said, what, what did. At the
- 52:28Speaker 1: end of the day, everybody is human and we don't
- 52:32Speaker 1: know just because we see an hour clip of somebody's
- 52:36Speaker 1: life that happened a few months ago when this was filmed.
- 52:39Speaker 1: We don't know people's mental states now and what's going
- 52:44Speaker 1: on in their life and their heart and what they're
- 52:46Speaker 1: going through. And so I think two that was that
- 52:49Speaker 1: was a big move on Elizbeth's part, and I think
- 52:51Speaker 1: that was the right thing to do, and it just
- 52:52Speaker 1: shows her character, which is why I loved her. Um
- 52:57Speaker 1: But I think in me it's speaking a lot about
- 53:04Speaker 1: they know things with what each other going through, what
- 53:06Speaker 1: Clayton's going through, what they're all going through, that the
- 53:11Speaker 1: public has no idea. And I cannot emphasize this enough.
- 53:16Speaker 1: I was on I'm sure you've been on the other
- 53:19Speaker 1: side of it as well, Like there were points when
- 53:22Speaker 1: I was at my absolute lowest, and there were times
- 53:28Speaker 1: when people would just like, I'm a very emotional like
- 53:31Speaker 1: I'm a strong woman and I could handle and take
- 53:33Speaker 1: a lot, but there were comments, and when it's a
- 53:37Speaker 1: hundred comments, and when you think you're just typing something
- 53:39Speaker 1: and spouting off something to somebody, you think it's gonna
- 53:43Speaker 1: like I'm just gonna mindlessly send this, But there's hundreds
- 53:46Speaker 1: of those, and hundreds of you should kill yourself, and
- 53:49Speaker 1: hundreds of inappropriate, not okay things to be saying to
- 53:52Speaker 1: people crossing the line, like relax, you guys, relax, you know,
- 53:57Speaker 1: and so I think that was a good move on
- 53:59Speaker 1: your part. I do it. It's nice to see. It
- 54:01Speaker 1: would have mental lot to me too. When I was
- 54:03Speaker 1: on the Bachelor, if one of the contestants who I
- 54:06Speaker 1: sent home would have stood up and said, hey, let
- 54:09Speaker 1: you know, this is who he is. Nobody did, maybe
- 54:11Speaker 1: because they didn't believe that's who I was, But it
- 54:13Speaker 1: would have felt great if they would have actually know.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Everybody on my scene was very supportive and very helpful,
- 54:20Speaker 1: and friends after the same thing, the same thing. All
- 54:22Speaker 1: it takes, and and that's why I try to reach
- 54:25Speaker 1: out to people and just be like, just so you know,
- 54:27Speaker 1: I'm here if you need me, because I get it.
- 54:29Speaker 1: But it was undoubtedly one of the hardest things I've
- 54:34Speaker 1: been through, not and not to make this is not
- 54:35Speaker 1: about me, but I know exactly what he's going through
- 54:38Speaker 1: and what they're experiencing. Even on the villain side of it.
- 54:41Speaker 1: They still don't deserve this. It means they're struggling even
- 54:44Speaker 1: more so have some grace to this. And at the
- 54:46Speaker 1: end of the day, it doesn't affect your life, you
- 54:50Speaker 1: don't need to be but the hate will affect their
- 54:53Speaker 1: lives and it could be just that one comment, you know,
- 54:56Speaker 1: that one comment they could push him over the edge
- 54:59Speaker 1: that you don't want to be that person. That's a
- 55:01Speaker 1: great statement. The hate won't affect your life, it will
- 55:05Speaker 1: affect their life. Wow, Claire probably just throwing wisdom out
- 55:10Speaker 1: there at us today. Um, Claire, we could use your
- 55:14Speaker 1: wisdom on this headline because I think you're familiar with this.
- 55:18Speaker 1: Oh lord, what is it currently in your life? The
- 55:22Speaker 1: headline is this meet Jake Funk, Bachelor's star Hannah and
- 55:26Speaker 1: Sluss alleged boyfriend. So the big word there is alleged
- 55:33Speaker 1: Allegedly Hannah and is dating somebody Claire as somebody that
- 55:40Speaker 1: has been allegedly dating somebody? How true do you believe
- 55:46Speaker 1: this article is? And well then I'll break it down
- 55:52Speaker 1: all right. Well, I think being in the bachelor world,
- 55:57Speaker 1: all people really know us for is our love lives, right, so,
- 56:02Speaker 1: and all people want and I like to pray and
- 56:04Speaker 1: hope for the best of this is people want to
- 56:05Speaker 1: see and are invested in your happiness, in your love life.
- 56:10Speaker 1: But I will attest to this, there's been headlines before
- 56:15Speaker 1: about me and other people. I would say, until she
- 56:19Speaker 1: comes out with it, take it for a grain assault
- 56:22Speaker 1: until she comes out and says, meet my boyfriend. This
- 56:25Speaker 1: is what she's willing to share with you, This is
- 56:27Speaker 1: what she wants you to know about it. If it's
- 56:28Speaker 1: not talked about, if she doesn't come out and say it, um,
- 56:32Speaker 1: maybe that's there's a reason for that. Yeah, I mean,
- 56:35Speaker 1: jess and I did it for six months before we
- 56:38Speaker 1: came out public. The reason is because it's like, I mean,
- 56:41Speaker 1: even at six months, it's still a new relationship. You
- 56:43Speaker 1: don't want to put too much stress on. You don't
- 56:44Speaker 1: want people talking about it. You Also, if it doesn't
- 56:47Speaker 1: work out, I don't want a headline talking about poor
- 56:50Speaker 1: you know, Jessica Clark from Franklin, Tennessee getting you know,
- 56:54Speaker 1: and when she's like, you know, just this normal human
- 56:56Speaker 1: who's like a tracker and it from well miss, and
- 56:59Speaker 1: so I'm with few. Let's pause on the excitement and
- 57:02Speaker 1: most of this, and just to give you some idea here.
- 57:04Speaker 1: Jake Funk is an NFL football player. He plays for
- 57:07Speaker 1: the Los Angeles Rams. He selected to the NFL and one,
- 57:12Speaker 1: he had a great career at Maryland University. Uh, he
- 57:16Speaker 1: was an incredible college athlete and so yes, he's on
- 57:21Speaker 1: the Rams team who will be playing in the Super
- 57:23Speaker 1: Bowl coming up. Maybe she'll get free tickets that could
- 57:26Speaker 1: be a benefit. Have they have they talked about publicly
- 57:28Speaker 1: that this is their relationship. No, no, So this is
- 57:31Speaker 1: all coming from rumors that they spent time together in Malibu.
- 57:34Speaker 1: And then Jake commented on Hannah's recent Instagram post and uh,
- 57:40Speaker 1: she the caption reb brunch or lunch, what's your favorite?
- 57:45Speaker 1: And he commented on that something. And so people like
- 57:48Speaker 1: people commenting or people hanging out together equates a relationship.
- 57:52Speaker 1: I mean, I think it's obvious. But at the same time,
- 57:57Speaker 1: at this day and age, like I said, I know
- 57:59Speaker 1: that's how people well know this contestants from the show.
- 58:03Speaker 1: But there's also that great area in between that everybody
- 58:06Speaker 1: in the real world goes through, which is that do
- 58:10Speaker 1: I like him? You're still figuring it out. To let
- 58:13Speaker 1: her figure it out and whether she is or whether
- 58:15Speaker 1: she isn't, Like like I said, when she's comfortable, she'll
- 58:17Speaker 1: talk about it. But until then, let it be that
- 58:20Speaker 1: gray area where you're still trying to figure out maybe
- 58:22Speaker 1: it is, maybe it isn't, And don't put the pressure
- 58:24Speaker 1: on it the public to say even if it's positive
- 58:27Speaker 1: to say a great couple, your love this or that,
- 58:29Speaker 1: or no it's not good, or just let it happen organically,
- 58:34Speaker 1: let it happen naturally. Yeah, don't put too much pressure.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Pressure is heard relationship Well. The Bachelor Life Tour is
- 58:41Speaker 1: coming back. Bachelor Live on Stage tour returns with seven
- 58:44Speaker 1: fan favorite men looking for love. I was able to
- 58:49Speaker 1: co host this tour right before COVID. Now I'm married
- 58:53Speaker 1: and I have a puppy, and so I'm gonna be
- 58:55Speaker 1: unable to hit the road with the tour this year.
- 58:57Speaker 1: But Beckett Cokufern, who was my co host back in
- 58:59Speaker 1: the day, is gonna be to hosting this tour. She's
- 59:02Speaker 1: great at it. She's gonna thrive. But according to People,
- 59:06Speaker 1: Rick Leach from season eighteen, Connor Brennan from season seventeen,
- 59:10Speaker 1: Ivan Hall from season sixteen, Justin Glaze from season eighteen,
- 59:16Speaker 1: Our seventeen, Andrew Spencer from season seventeen, and Rodney Matthews
- 59:21Speaker 1: from season eighteen will be handing out roses at different
- 59:24Speaker 1: spots on the tour as it crosses America. Claire any comments,
- 59:32Speaker 1: I mean, good for them. Get it out there and
- 59:33Speaker 1: put it out there. Why not this is these are
- 59:36Speaker 1: regular people. As much as like we've talked about their celebrities,
- 59:40Speaker 1: studo celebrities have been on TV. These are normal people
- 59:43Speaker 1: wanting to date. So good for them, Good for them.
- 59:46Speaker 1: I agree. Well, a couple more headlines here. Last one
- 59:49Speaker 1: headline that will just skim through because there's the more
- 59:52Speaker 1: we talk about, the more I heard. Uh. Lauren Burnham
- 59:57Speaker 1: says it was awkward watching our a Liondyke junior is
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: vasectomy no dubh. That sounds like one of the weirdest
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: things to have to be watching. It. Sounds like she
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: was a part of the experience. Uh yeah, it was
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: very awkward for for her, She says. Um, I don't
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: think she like watched the incision, but I think she
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: was probably in the room or near the room, it
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: sounds like, and probably could hear. Um. You know, it's
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: just not a fun surgery. I hope she didn't want. Yeah,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: that's that's what I need. That just feels that feels hard.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Um headline here. Tasha Adams breaks her silence on leaving
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: the clickbait podcast. The comments she says is I need
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: to work on myself. Clara read through here the the article,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: then see if you have any comment. Tasha Adams is
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: opening up about what prompted her to leave her role
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: as co host on Bachelor Nations Clickbait podcast. The California
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: native later gave more insight into her decision during the
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Clickbait episode Guess Who It's Me Tasha, She says, dang it,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I really miss saying that the season sixteen co bachelorette
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: comments and says she needs to take some time to
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: work on herself. She's stepping away from Clickbait, also saying
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: that it's in very, very capable hands with Joe and
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Natasha and welcoming Tia to replace Tasha as co host.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: So she's emotional, she's not thrilled. She spoke her piece
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: at this point, and one day, she says, when she
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: has more to say, she'll speak up about it. Clear
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: any comments like this girl has done so much work
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: over the last couple of years, and I feel like
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: cirtation has just been NonStop, which is all good, positive things.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: But I think I think it's the right move for her.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: I think it's a good move because she's just going, going,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: going and doing big things, and so for her to
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: take a step back and really process a lot of you,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: a lot of it. I think it catches up with you,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: and I think, um, I believe Hannah Brown did it
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: as well, like you kind of have to take a
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: step back and recenter yourself. So I think that's really
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: smart things she could do. Yeah, it's I agree. At
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: some point you can run so fast and that race
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: becomes exhausting, and especially as you're trying to work on yourself.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: You know, I know for me, and you know when
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I was when I was in it, you know, when
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I was running, I felt like a robot. At times.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I felt like I was just an answering machine to
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: anybody's requests. And I could, you know, stand up and
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: say the right thing at the right moment or do
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: the right thing at the right moment to fulfill a
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: need of somebody else. But all within that you're losing yourself.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: And some people are great at it, like, uh, you know,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I'd be really excited too after this is well done.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: To talk to Caitlin Bristow, who has been running a
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: hundred miles an hour for a long time now, she
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: might be able to handle it. She kind of seems
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: like she is. She has fun with it, she loves it.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: She enjoys it, but I wasn't. And it sounds like
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Tasia just need to take some time too. It sounds
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: like kind of brown. It sounds like you did everybody
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: you know, most people do. It takes a special human
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: to go as fast as you know, Tastia and Caitlin,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: we're going, I think, doing everything, and it's wonderful stuff
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: to be a part of. But some I think it's
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: also a very easy distraction. And clearly Tassia has gone
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: through unfortunate breakup. Um, regardless of the circumstances, they're never fun,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: public or not public, it's they're never fun. So to
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: take time away to work on herself and to work
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: on and focus on what she needs to I think
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: that's literally the best thing she could do, because facing
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: things is almost harder than to keep going going on
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: and going going easy, to keep going, going, going, going, going,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: But when you really have to sit with yourself and
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: have that time, it's it's the hardest thing, but the
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: best thing. Yeah, well, wish and Tastia the best as
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: she does step away, takes a break, yes, and then
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: we'll you know, that's uh, that's the job of some
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: people behind the scenes here We'll see if she ever
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: comes back and talks more in detail about why she
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: left Clickbait, and it could just be that she needs
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: a break, which is fine. Well, Claire, that's all we
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: got for today. That's our episode of Almost Famous. Thank
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: you for joining me, and thank you so much for
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: taking the time to sit down and share about your
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: personal life with me and everybody listening. I know it's
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: not always fun or I deal, and I know you
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: get asked about all the time, but it does mean
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: a lot for you to open up to all of us. No,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: thank you for having me. I think it's one of
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: could be a blessing and a curse to be able
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: to share so much. But at the end of the day,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I love opening up and sharing because I think with
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: everything that we go through, there's even if there's one
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: person out there that can connect and relate to it
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: and understand what you're going through, um, it can make
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: make their day better. So I'm happy to be part
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: of this kind of stuff, and and thank you for
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: having me on. We did great, now, Claire. Some people
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: get this right, some people get this terribly wrong, but
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: it's good either way. Follow my lead with that, everybody,
