Today we go from twenty-sixth to thirtieth. Luna: Oh, I remember vingt-cinquième from last time. So vingt-sixième must be twenty-sixth? Lucas: Exactly. Vingt-sixième. Let's say it together: vingt-sixième. Luna: Vingt-sixième. Lucas: Good. Now vingt-septième — twenty-seventh. Luna: Vingt-septième. That one's a mouthful. Lucas: It is. Let's try vingt-huitième — twenty-eighth. Luna: Vingt-huitième. Hmm, that's smoother. Lucas: And vingt-neuvième — twenty-ninth. Luna: Vingt-neuvième. Almost there. Lucas: Finally, trentième — thirtieth. Luna: Trentième. That's shorter. I like it. Lucas: Let's review all five. Repeat after me: vingt-sixième. Luna: Vingt-sixième. Lucas: Vingt-septième. Luna: Vingt-septième. Lucas: Vingt-huitième. Luna: Vingt-huitième. Lucas: Vingt-neuvième. Luna: Vingt-neuvième. Lucas: Trentième. Luna: Trentième. Lucas: Now let's use them in a sentence. Imagine you're talking about apartment floors. 'I live on the twenty-sixth floor' — J'habite au vingt-sixième étage. Luna: J'habite au vingt-sixième étage. That sounds fancy. Lucas: Or 'the thirtieth floor' — le trentième étage. Luna: Le trentième étage. What about 'the twenty-seventh'? Lucas: Le vingt-septième étage. You can also use these for bus lines, chapters in a book, or birthdays. Luna: Like mon vingt-neuvième anniversaire — my twenty-ninth birthday. Lucas: Perfect. And vingt-huitième anniversaire for twenty-eighth. Luna: Right. So if I'm turning thirty, I'd say mon trentième anniversaire. Lucas: Exactly. Let's practice once more from twenty-sixth to thirtieth.
