  Hello friends, it's Sean here. It's Friday.

  It's the end of the week. It is the 11th of October, and

  I'm so glad that you have, at this auspicious occasion

  celebrating this day, have chosen to tap on play and say,

  hey, Sean, do you want to read a chapter of the Bible today?

  And I said, you betcha. Not just any old chapter.
• 0:33
  We are going to read a Psalm. We are not going to read a Psalm
• 0:37
  as pilgrims ascending to the city of Jerusalem, for we have
• 0:41
  now ascended, Friends, here we are standing at the top of the
• 0:44
  mountain. And I don't know about you, but
• 0:46
  when I have reached the top of a mountain and I look back at
• 0:49
  where I've come from and I'm amazed at the glory and
• 0:52
  majesticness. Majesticness that is not a word.
• 0:56
  The majesty of it all. The thing that my heart turns to
• 1:00
  is praise. And I am no different from the
• 1:02
  psalmist, for that is what this Psalm is all about.
• 1:05
  It's a Psalm of praise. And as lovely as those Pilgrim
• 1:09
  psalms were, so many of them were very short.
• 1:12
  However, is this one we can settle into with 21 verses.
• 1:15
  So we can actually spend some time sharing these words of
• 1:21
  praise as together we celebrate this Psalm praising our God for
• 1:26
  all He has done for us and His people.
• 1:30
  Are you ready? Oh yeah, me too.

  We are going to read this together.
• 1:34
  So great that we can do this together, reading the words of
• 1:38
  Psalm 135. Praise the Lord, praise the name
• 1:54
  of the Lord, praise him, you who serve the Lord, you who serve in
• 1:59
  the House of the Lord, in the courts of the House of our God.

  Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good.
• 2:07
  Celebrate His lovely name with music, for the Lord has chosen
• 2:12
  Jacob for himself, Israel for his own special treasure.
• 2:18
  I know the greatness of the Lord, that our Lord is greater
• 2:22
  than any other God. The Lord does whatever pleases
• 2:27
  him throughout all heaven and earth, and on the seas and in
• 2:31
  their depths. He causes the clouds to rise
• 2:36
  over the whole earth. He sends the lightning with the
• 2:39
  rain and releases the wind from its storehouses.
• 2:44
  He destroyed the first born in each Egyptian home, both people
• 2:49
  and animals. He performed miraculous signs
• 2:52
  and wonders in Egypt against Pharaoh and all his people.
• 2:57
  He struck down great nations and slaughtered many kings.
• 3:02
  Scion, king of the Amorites, Ogg, king of Bashan and all the
• 3:08
  kings of Canaan. He gave their land as an
• 3:12
  inheritance, a special possession to His people,
• 3:15
  Israel. Your name, O Lord, endures
• 3:19
  forever. Your fame, O Lord, is known to
• 3:23
  every generation, for the Lord will give justice to His people
• 3:29
  and have compassion on His servants.
• 3:32
  The idols of the nations are merely things of silver and
• 3:36
  gold, shaped by human hands. They have mouths but cannot
• 3:40
  speak, and eyes but cannot see. They have ears but cannot hear,
• 3:47
  and mouths but cannot breathe. And those who make idols are
• 3:52
  just like them, as are all who trust in them.
• 3:57
  O Israel, praise the Lord. O priests, descendants of Aaron,
• 4:02
  praise the Lord. O Levites, praise the Lord.
• 4:07
  All you who fear the Lord, praise the Lord.
• 4:11
  The Lord be praised from Zion, for he lives here in Jerusalem.
• 4:17
  Praise the Lord. Ah Lord, let it always be you
• 4:31
  that our hearts praise for every other thing that we might look
• 4:36
  to for help and for salvation. They do not even begin to
• 4:43
  compare with you. They may have ears, but they
• 4:46
  cannot hear. They may have mouths, but they
• 4:48
  cannot speak. They may have eyes, but they
• 4:50
  will never see like you. We are all seeing, hearing,
• 4:54
  speaking, and knowing God who reigns on high now and forever.

  We worship you, We praise You above all others.

  Our hearts. Let them sing in praise to you
• 5:09
  all day today, Lord, for You are great and wonderful and merciful
• 5:15
  to us. How faithful you are and how
• 5:20
  rich is your love for us. Hallelujah.
