A good minister of Christ Jesus must possess the spiritual gift of pastor-teaching, exhibit exemplary conduct in speech, love, faith, and purity, and remain fully devoted to the public reading of Scripture, exhortation, and doctrine. Personal holiness and godly living are essential for effective ministry, as leaders must set a visible example for the congregation to follow. By immersing themselves in God's Word and persisting in this calling, ministers not only equip the saints but also ensure their own spiritual preservation and the sanctification of those they serve.
