- 0:04Welcome to After Dark of the America, Out Loud Talk Radio Network.
- 0:08I am your host, Rob Harper.
- 0:11And my co-host tonight, of course, is none other the great.
- 0:16Heather Robinson, a contributor for the New York Post.
- 0:20You know, Heather has been on with America Out Loud for, I want to say since it's beginning almost like five years ago.
- 0:29Uh, at one point we're going live on mega media, and from that point on, she would just pop on every so often, she would come on as a guest.
- 0:39Then we're like, man, I mean, and the listeners really like Heather's insightful uh analysis of current events and things that are taking place.
- 0:48So we thought, why not just try to have her on as much as possible every week?
- 0:53So she has been very generous with her time, and I have learned a lot from her.
- 0:59She is, as I said before, a journalist for the New York Post, and she also writes for, I think it's a Jewish uh newspaper as well.
- 1:06So yeah, I'm freelance Rob, so I do not work for the post historically, but lately I just had a piece of national review.
- 1:13That was my most recent uh piece.
- 1:15It was interviewing an Iraqi former parliamentarian, Mithal Al-Alusi.
- 1:20I do some work also for Jewish News Syndicate, um, which is a conservative leaning Jewish um wire service that goes out to small Jewish newspapers around the country and also uh newspapers in Europe and Israel.
- 1:35But you've also been instrumental in giving getting guests on our show, like Simon Ding, uh, who we have really enjoyed, as well as uh our guest Sammy, who has come on and uh shared his knowledge with us also.
- 1:49So again, we appreciate your time uh coming on and giving us your analysis on the news.
- 1:56And I say that because I'm before we came on air, we were just speaking about Iran.
- 2:02And I've and you've always called this, and I I can't believe I'm just now you know coming to the realization that these guys they don't want a deal.
- 2:13They don't.
- 2:15I mean, we have been trying to broker a deal with Iran since Trump's first term in office.
- 2:22Most recently last summer, after we bombed them and said no nukes, only to find out that they're still trying to enrich uranium.
- 2:32And then with this bombing that we had opening up this year in February, and still they don't get it.
- 2:41We have wiped out their entire upper brass.
- 2:46We're now starting down to the the next tier, and they don't get it.
- 2:51They keep saying we want to we want to negotiate, we want to negotiate.
- 2:55They don't have cards to negotiate with, they don't control the straight of her moose, we control it.
- 3:03No, I know that the liberal media is putting out propaganda, Iran's propaganda, making Iran think that they have the cards so that we will think that they have the cards, but folks, listen to me, hear me.
- 3:17They don't have the cards.
- 3:19We could go in tonight, we can go in tomorrow and wipe the slate clean.
- 3:25No, if you recall on Easter Sunday, Trump said that we were going to end their civilization and the media and Democrats went crazy.
- 3:34Oh my god, how can he say this?
- 3:36There were some people on the right saying the exact same thing.
- 3:39No that knowing that Trump was speaking and hyperbole, that he wasn't going to just wipe the civilization out, although I wish he would have, but you had people freaking out.
- 3:47And then when he didn't do it, what did they say?
- 3:49Oh, he's a chicken, oh, he's afraid.
- 3:51I'm like, are you serious?
- 3:53You guys just clutched your pearls out of fear, thinking that Iran would cease to exist.
- 3:58And then when he said, We're not going to, now you're saying taco chicken.
- 4:02And now that he's saying we're gonna put a uh cease fire, now they're saying, oh, what is he gonna do?
- 4:07He's afraid.
- 4:08What gives?
- 4:09They won't give this president any credit.
- 4:12Iran knows it.
- 4:13Iran knows that they have no courage to play, but yet still they want to drag this out.
- 4:19They want to drag it out because what they're hoping is that they can get this to the midterms, and then once they get it to the midterms, you know, the Democrats hopefully they're hoping also that the Democrats will be able to take power.
- 4:30Now, as you all are all aware that the Supreme Court at the federal level and the state levels have come out and admonish Democrats, what you guys have been doing with the gerrymandering is unconstitutional, you gotta stop it.
- 4:41Well, not you gotta stop it, it's over.
- 4:43So now the Democrats are crying, and they're saying Jim Crow 2.0 and everything else.
- 4:48But this is all baked into the cake that Iran is looking at and hoping that they can manipulate the media and the media, they're willing, they're I mean, they're more than willing to be manipulated.
- 4:58I mean, they don't care at all because they don't want Trump to have a whim.
- 5:02They don't want Trump to prove that he can resolve all of this.
- 5:07Look at Russia and what is it, Ukraine.
- 5:10It seems as if though Ukraine has the upper hand because Russia is pleading with the Ukraine.
- 5:15Oh, please can you not bomb us now because we're gonna have this little parade, this little military parade, and we want to make it seem as if though that we we have the strength and we're powerful.
- 5:23If we had an honest media to report the news accurately, I do believe if American people would say, wow, we need to stop this.
- 5:32We need to stop pussyfooting around with these crazy regimes and let a president who's willing to take the risk, do what he needs to do.
- 5:41Do you actually think Barack Obama, Joe Biden, or Bill Clinton, or even Bush would take the risk that Trump is taking right now this close to an election?
- 5:51Do you actually think either of them would have done it?
- 5:54And and I would submit to our listeners, as well as new listeners, young, new and old.
- 6:00Look at the state of the economy, look at where the country is.
- 6:03Look at everything that Trump has said he was going to do.
- 6:06He has done it.
- 6:07No tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on social security.
- 6:13Look at the job market.
- 6:14Look at Trump RX.
- 6:16Look at companies that are coming here to invest.
- 6:20Look at all those positive things as opposed to what the media wants you to look at, oh, high gas prices.
- 6:25Yes, guys, gas prices are high.
- 6:27I get it.
- 6:28It's not good.
- 6:29It's uncomfortable.
- 6:30But I would rather have moments of being uncomfortable.
- 6:35I would rather have that than to have years of discomfort, years of a threat of some rogue nation funding terrorist outfits.
- 6:46If we can get rid of them, let's do it.
- 6:49The short-term discomfort is a whole lot less than the long-term peace that we could have.
- 6:59We've got to refocus, we gotta recalibrate.
- 7:00Got to refocus, we gotta recalibrate.
- 7:02We have to understand what's happening.
- 7:02We have to understand what's happening.
- 7:04But until such time, I would say to the president, load them to Kingdom Comm and be done with it.
- 7:04But until such time, I would say to the president, blow them to Kingdom Comm and be done with it because I am tired of the negotiations.
- 7:11Because I am tired of negotiations, they have nothing to negotiate.
- 7:14They have nothing to negotiate.
- 7:16But Trump is being generous.
- 7:16But Trump is being generous.
- 7:17So all those who are saying, oh, Trump, he's mean, he's crazy.
- 7:17So all those who are saying, oh, Trump, he's mean, he's crazy.
- 7:20No, he's showing you his generosity by saying, I'm willing to work with them.
- 7:20No, he's showing you just generosity by saying I'm willing to work with them.
- 7:26But they don't want to do that, Heather.
- 7:26But they don't want to do that, Heather.
- 7:29They just want to.
- 7:29They just want to drag this out.
- 7:31So those moments of discomfort, I'd say I welcome that.
- 7:36Compared to years of peace, years of comfort that outweighs the moments of discomfort.
- 7:44What are your thoughts, Heather?
- 7:46Yeah, I think that really, if we in the West do not have the stomach for this fight, we're essentially kicking the can down the road to our children and their children's children.
- 8:02I mean, I think that until now, the past 45 years, um, this fanatical vicious regime has plagued our people, the world, our allies, through its nauseating evil vile ways and it's proxies that the Hezbollah, Hamas, we saw it got a little taste on October 7th of what they would like to do to all Israelis and Jews and next Christians and Americans.
- 8:42Um, or maybe the other way around, because one of my good friends who grew up in Iran tells me it was actually the chant every morning she had to say in school was death to America first, then death to Israel.
- 8:57That's what they would say, you know.
- 8:59That was like their pledge of allegiance, you know, every every morning.
- 9:03And um, you know, I wouldn't be surprised if that's I'm sure that's still going on in schools all around Iran.
- 9:10Um I think that war is a horror, and we know there are a few things worse than war, though, including true genocide, true brutality and suppression of all individual liberties, and that's what this regime is committing and promises to do on a mass scale in the future if we do not stop them.
- 9:38I think there's a lot of analogizing this one and that one to Hitler and the Nazis, but most of it is is gross exaggeration, or if not outright um lies.
- 9:51But this is a you know, a real comparatively evil regime.
- 9:56I mean, similar to Nazism.
- 9:59This is a fanaticism.
- 10:00It's a a cult that's based around hatred.
- 10:05That's their driving big part of what they live for.
- 10:09Um I don't really think there's anything more similar to Nazism that we've seen since World War II than this, and then the Iranian regime.
- 10:20No respect for for any human life for its itsity.
- 10:26It's life is about serving Allah in the way they deem to be uh right, and we see that they're not concerned for their own children's survival.
- 10:39We're talking, I mean, we're talking about a fanaticism that is, I think, very hard for Westerners to understand any thinking feeling person is so saddened uh by war and especially the deaths of innocence that we can't get our minds around the idea that we're talking about I'm not saying all Iranians, I mean, many Iranians are trapped there and are are against this.
- 11:10We've seen them come out bravely, many of them and face death to oppose this.
- 11:16So I don't know what proportion of their population is against this fanaticism.
- 11:21I I don't think anyone really knows because it's a closed society, it's uh you tyrannically run government, and people can't come and go and you can't go and take a poll that's really gonna give you the real numbers, so I don't know, but I think that um most Iranian people are are probably good people.
- 11:44Um, but this is a poison.
- 11:46This is a a fanatical poison.
- 11:49It's it's um it's just I I think that we're you know, it's it's been going on for a long time, this radical Islamism.
- 11:58This is one of its faces.
- 12:01This I I believe is the regime.
- 12:05This is where it's it's really got a big power center, because you know, you've got a government which is in power, and we know that as our president was tweeting today, uh Barack Obama in a very horrible error of judgment, enriched this regime by the hundreds of billions thinking that they wanted a deal, you know, he pursued this containment strategy, which is one way to go.
- 12:35I mean, you can do that.
- 12:37I I think we've seen though that there's a horrible cost in terms of human life.
- 12:43We know they funded Hamas, they funded October 7th, you know they've you know killed thousands and wounded many thousands more grievously in many cases of our service members of our American citizens, um, Jewish Americans and Christian Americans visiting Israel, uh our Marines in 1983, um the the sailors aboard the USS coal, I mean, you you have many, many examples of them hurting and harming our citizens around the world, uh, really pretty much with impunity for decades.
- 13:21But I mean, even if that doesn't incense you, and it should, you know, it should bother us that they've gotten away with this for all these decades.
- 13:29I mean, I don't believe in fighting wars for revenge and honor, but at a certain point, I mean, how much abuse are you gonna let our people take from some little evil regime?
- 13:44I mean, you know, I mean, I guess you have to think in terms of proportionality in life, you can't uh, you know, necessarily you can't destroy a whole group of people because of even one death on your side, I suppose, but at the same time, if you keep letting your people get picked off and tortured and abducted every few years for decades, I mean, at some point, even on the level of psychological um health, I mean, you it's like letting yourself be bullied over and over and over and over again.
- 14:00One death on your side, I suppose.
- 14:02But at the same time, if you keep letting your people get picked off and tortured and abducted every few years for decades, I mean, at some point, even on the level of psychological um health.
- 14:18I mean, you it's like letting yourself be bullied over and over and over and over again.
- 14:24I mean, okay, you know, because someone's bullying you, you don't necessarily you don't necessarily, you know, you're not gonna go.
- 14:24I mean, okay, you know, because someone's bullying you, you don't necessarily you don't necessarily, you know, you're not gonna go kill, but at some point you gotta punch them in the face.
- 14:33It's kind of like if you want to have any self-respect at all, you've got to do something.
- 14:38And I think we're long past that point.
- 14:41And but the main thing here is the future.
- 14:44I mean, what is gonna happen?
- 14:47What would have happened if if these lunatics get a nuclear bomb, they're already a horrendous menace to the region and the world.
- 14:57Um, and so, you know, honestly, when Americans sit around, you know, who are against this war and say they're not a threat.
- 15:05That kind of that actually makes me sick.
- 15:07I mean, it's it's very disrespectful to the Americans who have been murdered by this regime and its proxies.
- 15:14But I mean, okay, so if you that's that's completely not that's not true.
- 15:20It's it's uh they've been a threat to many people who've been killed and and injured by them, but I mean, if you want to pursue a containment strategy, I think that's what you know.
- 15:32That's that's another point of view, not denying that this is a malevolent, threatening regime, but to say that we we don't want to get into the mix with them, we don't have the stomach to fight a war because war means people die on on our side as well, and but I mean, then I think you have to ask yourself what I mean realistically, how can this be contained?
- 15:57How?
- 15:58And I think that you you hit on something wrong when you said they just don't want to deal.
- 16:04They don't want to deal.
- 16:05There's no deal in which you can trust them to I mean, that's beyond obvious.
- 16:11I mean, how many times have they given insurances that they don't want nuclear capability as they're funding these terrorist regimes and they keep reverting to attempts to build a nuclear weapon?
- 16:25I mean, it's just we're not fools.
- 16:27We know they don't, you know, that they have an agenda.
- 16:30So I mean, I guess the issue is is there some way to to monitor them if if we don't have the stomach for this fight?
- 16:39There is no way, other there is no way they won't let us, they will say that they will, but they won't.
- 16:44I mean, I I go back to what you have been saying all along since you've been co-hosting with me on the show.
- 16:50We cannot trust them.
- 16:53And you want to know the proof of that?
- 16:55We have been trying to get them to the table to work out a deal since last summer.
- 17:01And they keep saying we're gonna do it, and then they renege on it.
- 17:04They want us to come to Pakistan, we go, then they don't show up.
- 17:08They're not serious.
- 17:10They they don't, they just don't give a damn.
- 17:13And you know, and the stalling tactics make it seem as if though they have the upper hand.
- 17:19Now they know that they don't, and the media knows it also.
- 17:22They see what they're clever at is the propaganda to make it seem as if though we will agree to the terms, and then once we see what they want us to agree with, it's like this makes no sense.
- 17:34We're not gonna allow you to charge people for uh sending their chips through international waters.
- 17:42It makes no sense.
- 17:43Who would agree to that?
- 17:45We're not gonna agree to say, okay, you can keep enriching uranium, and we won't have to look at it.
- 17:52But see, this is what they're putting out there.
- 17:54They say, okay, we will agree, and then when they submit to us what they want, it's like, wait a minute.
- 18:00This is the same thing you said last time.
- 18:01You just moved the order.
- 18:03You just changed it around.
- 18:04And of course, the media won't report on the fact that what is Iran waiting for?
- 18:10You guys have said that Trump is crazy, that he's a madman.
- 18:15If that is true, don't you think he will blow you to smithereens?
- 18:19See, they don't even believe what they're saying, but they want us to believe it because they know unfortunately, and I don't mean any harm when I say this, but it has to be said there are a lot of low informational voters who can't piece the puzzle together to realize that Iran is lying and the media has no incentive to speak the truth.
- 18:40They want to make it seem as if though Iran is in charge.
- 18:44They have no cards in this fight.
- 18:48They have nothing.
- 18:49We have decimated their military.
- 18:51We could go in right now and get rid of the other leaders that they have.
- 18:56And at this point, I would submit to you, let Israel do it.
- 19:01They know exactly where they are.
- 19:03Let them obliterate it, be done with it, and let's move forward.
- 19:07Because what we're doing right now, we're wasting everyone's time.
- 19:12I'm sick of this.
- 19:13We're now into May.
- 19:14This should have long since been over.
- 19:16They're not serious.
- 19:18Let's just get rid of them and moved on.
- 19:20You'll listen to After Dark on the America Out Loud Talk Radio Network.
- 19:23We'll be back with a second half and more of Heather's insight after this brief commercial break.

- 20:48I'll never before has our American cultural, economic, spiritual, and political fabric been more threatening.
- 20:56Well the America most of us have grown up with.
- 21:00Relentless and pernicious siege from those carrying the banners of socialism and Marxism.
- 21:02From those carrying the banners of socialism.
- 21:06And Marxism.
- 21:07America rout loud.news is the antidote to these poison.
- 21:07America outlawed.
- 21:08News is the antidote to these poison is America outlaw.
- 21:14America out loud dot news is that place to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the outlook.
- 21:16Is that place to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the outlook?
- 21:26And we're back with the second half of the show.
- 21:26And we're back with the second half of the show.
- 21:29And as I was saying, we need to move forward.
- 21:34Iran is not a serious player.
- 21:36They're not negotiating in good faith.
- 21:39They want us to think that they are, but they're not.
- 21:42It's time for us to move forward.
- 21:45It's time for us to end this once and for all.
- 21:49Because if we don't, we'll be right into the summer and then the midterms.
- 21:53And this is exactly what they want.
- 21:55And do not doubt me when I say this.
- 21:58But I wouldn't at all be surprised if there are people in the back room and the Democrat Party telling Iran, hold on, hold on.
- 22:07Just drag this out as much as you can.
- 22:10We know that happened during Trump's first term when John Kerry flew over to when John Kerry, when John Kerry flew over to Iran and told them we would turn the spigot back on just as soon as Trump is out of office.
- 22:26Now, how did John Kerry knew that was going to happen?
- 22:28Because they knew that they were going to cheat during the 2020 election.
- 22:31And now we're hearing that there is evidence to point to it.
- 22:34But we've got to wait to see it.
- 22:36But regardless of that, John Kerry had no right to go to Iran and tell them we're going to turn the spigot back on.
- 22:44We know that Trump turned it off.
- 22:45We know that Barack Obama was giving you money, but we're going to turn that back on.
- 22:48That should not have been happening.
- 22:51He should have never gone over there.
- 22:52But yet still he did.
- 22:54We see the same thing with what is her name?
- 22:56Representative uh Primola Jaya Paul.
- 22:59She's working with Cuba to get them oil.
- 23:02What are you doing?
- 23:03We have sanctions on them.
- 23:05Why is she working with Cuba, the Cubans to get them oil?
- 23:09And why isn't anyone doing anything about it?
- 23:13This is treasonous.
- 23:14This goes against the Logan Act.
- 23:16Remember, they were always talking about the Logan Act and Kellyanne Conway.
- 23:20Oh, she broke the Logan Act.
- 23:21Oh, this person did it.
- 23:22Here, this woman is saying that she did it, and no one is doing anything about it.
- 23:27And you know what?
- 23:28As always, we come with receipts.
- 23:31Here is Pramala Jaya Paul, representative from California openly saying that she was working with Cuba or is working with them to get them oil, run the tape.
- 23:41Since January, only one Russian taper of oil has made it to Cuba.
- 23:47I was in conversations with the ambassadors uh from Mexico and some other places, and I know other countries in Latin America trying to figure out how to get oil there.
- 23:56But it is a crisis beyond imagination.
- 24:00Why is she working with them to get oil there?
- 24:04She knows that there's sanctions on Cuba.
- 24:06But see, this is what the left will do.
- 24:09And we hear her saying this, and we're just sitting around taking it in and saying, Oh, okay, okay.
- 24:14Absolutely not.
- 24:15Republicans have got to wake up.
- 24:17Because had this been a Republican saying this, they would already be having house hearings on the hill.
- 24:23Let's bring them in.
- 24:24Why did they do this?
- 24:24We saw the same thing with Eric Squalwell, knowing that he was playing around with bang fang, and no one said anything about it.
- 24:32It is time Republicans wake up and start playing the game the way the Democrats are playing it.
- 24:37It is a new game that's on the table.
- 24:39And if we don't wake up, we will lose.
- 24:43Which is a reason why Iran keeps dragging us down this eternal rabbit hole where there is no conclusion.
- 24:51Trump needs to act, he needs to act decisively.
- 24:54I don't want troops on the ground.
- 24:56See, that's something else that they want.
- 24:58They want troops on the ground.
- 24:59They've already planned this out.
- 25:00And the moment a troop troops get on the ground, that's it.
- 25:03It's over.
- 25:04We need to continue doing what we're doing, blow up the infrastructure, and if it takes them 50 years to rebuild, okay, then so be it.
- 25:11Let's speak to years of peace that we won't have to worry with this rogue nation.
- 25:15Heather, what do you say?
- 25:17Well, I wanted to ask you your take, Rob, I why I mean, I'm not saying I want troops on the ground.
- 25:22I'm just just like gaming it out.
- 25:25I mean, tell me why that you feel that's that it's over if they're I don't want American bloodshed on the ground in Iran.
- 25:33I mean, I don't either, but I just you know you think that we couldn't win it, or you think that it's just too costly in our own.
- 25:40It's too costly, and I think that we have the upper hand.
- 25:43We could take control of Car Island, uh, we can blow up their infrastructure, and then we could just allow Israel to go in and decimate that next uh group of uh leadership that they have there.
- 25:56I mean, I'm all for it.
- 25:57Get rid of them.
- 25:58I don't care about them anymore.
- 26:00I don't care about their lives, they don't care about their lives, so why should we?
- 26:04I guess the maybe one of the big issues is and we see Israel dealing with this, um, because they're such dirty fighters, they'll use civilians as shields, and there will be huge, huge death and destruction.
- 26:22Um, and you see that Israel, Israel tries to avoid hurting Palestinian civilians, but I mean, you know, on October 7th, it you know, the atrocities were so massive and and vicious, and I mean, I I guess that Israeli leadership felt they had no choice but to ensure nothing like that happens again, and so you see, they've taken they they really fought it to win it, and that because of the way the Palestinians fight, because they don't build shelters for their children, and they don't they do the opposite, they put weapons and and and ordinance and so-called fighters that you know if they're not hiding underground tunnels there, they're under schools, they're in hospitals, you know.
- 27:15Because of all that, there was there has been a big death toll uh on the Palestinian side of terrorists, but also some civilians, and you see how the international community has reacted.
- 27:27I mean, in a no one with a heart and a soul, he doesn't feel bad about that, about the loss of civilian life.
- 27:36But I mean, that I guess is what America would be looking at times 10, probably if we fought this to win it.
- 27:45Um, so maybe you know that's one of the concerns about.
- 27:49I mean, look, we could obliterate the whole country tomorrow and be done with that, but we don't we don't want to do that.
- 27:56So I mean, I'm not a military specialist, I'm not, you know, this is beyond my pay grade.
- 28:00You know, this is beyond my pay grade.
- 28:02I don't know the answer.
- 28:02I don't know the answer.
- 28:04I'm just discussing it here with you.
- 28:04I'm just discussing it here with you.
- 28:06I mean, yeah, I mean, it's look look what it took to end World War II.
- 28:06I mean, yeah, I mean, it's look, look what it took to end World War II.
- 28:11I mean, some people will sit in their you know, comfy chair and say, Oh, the Japanese were about to surrender anyway, blah, blah, blah.
- 28:11I mean, some people will sit in their you know, comfy chair and say, Oh, the Japanese were about to surrender anyway, blah, blah, blah.
- 28:18Revisionism.
- 28:18Revisionism.
- 28:20But the truth is they were not about to surrender.
- 28:20But the truth is they were not about to surrender.
- 28:25They were fanatics.
- 28:25They were fanatics.
- 28:26The regime they were misled by was.
- 28:26The regime they were misled by was fanatical.
- 28:31And we know that there were you decades later, there were still Japanese soldiers hiding in the trees and in caves who were discovered who weren't gonna ever give up.
- 28:40They were already old men, you know.
- 28:42So I mean, by that we know um that the Japanese were not about to surrender, and you know, it took Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the terrible death and destruction, um, to the point where they just their spirit was just broken, and um it was a horrible thing, but there was the all the alternative would have been worse.
- 29:03It would have been an you know a war without end, and I think that where Western civilization is now, we haven't I hate to say this, Rob, but the truth of the matter is enough Americans and Israelis and well, the Israelis know what's what's up, but you know, it's like if there were a 9-11 happening every week, we'd have the stomach for the fight, and that's what it might take for this country to fight this to win it.
- 29:36Right.
- 29:36I mean, that's where we're headed if we don't fight it to win it now.
- 29:40I think here's the thing we we've heard this before as I share with our listeners, we've had different military folks on the show, and they've explained to us what the military is, and it is a harsh reality.
- 29:55But when you go to war, lives are lost, and our military men and women, they know that they know, and it's again, is a it is a harsh reality, but that is a purpose of having a lot of people.
- 30:09You know, if you're not gonna fight it to win it.
- 30:11I mean, it's easy for me to sit here and say that, but I but it's a reality, but Heather, it's reality.
- 30:15I think that this is the problem with it with our efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
- 30:21One of the problems anyway, is it's like I I think one thing maybe some principled real liberals are right about is you know, people who are genuinely anti-war, um, some of them who are really principled.
- 30:37I mean, it's like I mean, they don't it's sort of like if you don't have the stomach to I mean, it's just war is just horrible.
- 30:49It means children are gonna die.
- 30:51It means you know, in this day and age, especially it's worse than ever.
- 30:54It's not just men fighting on a battlefield, right?
- 30:57It's but the reality, Heather.
- 30:59And so it's like if you're not gonna do it, if you're not gonna the only way reason to fight a war is for survival, okay, in my humble opinion.
- 31:08And Israel understands that, and they are fighting for survival, and so that's why they're they're not pussyfooting around as much.
- 31:15I think our great country, you know, other than in recent times on 9-11, you know, and of course at Pearl Harbor, we haven't been hit in the mainland on a mass scale.
- 31:25And so that is why, you know, with with the exception of our brave service members, our volunteer military and their families.
- 31:33I mean, with the exception of those those very brave people, most Americans, you know, I mean, we we just don't feel threatened every day.
- 31:43We don't feel our lives are in peril, and they're not right now.
- 31:48But if we let radical Islam gain ascendance in the world unchecked, I think in time, more and more of our lives will be directly threatened.
- 31:59And I just don't want to see that happen.
- 32:02But I think that's probably where we're headed.
- 32:05And look, I mean, eventually, hopefully, that we won't come to that.
- 32:09But if it does, then we'll fight it to win it, you know.
- 32:12I mean, look, I hate to say I don't want to sound like a uh like I'm a uh uh you know a theologian, but I do know enough about scripture to know that if you look at the the Hebrew Bible, the old testament, I mean and I if correct me if I'm wrong, Rob, you're a Christian, you know the New Testament, but I I think it's there in the Bible, you know, we're destined to win it, but it's gonna get really, really bad.
- 32:38It's gonna be bad.
- 32:39And Heather, I I keep I want to remind our listeners again, uh uh new and existing, but the military is for.
- 32:47And when you go to war, it's just a reality that people will die, some won't come back.
- 32:54And if you think if you don't believe that, and if you think that, oh, we can just go in and bring everybody back home, okay, then you're you're living in a fool's paradise.
- 33:03We know this, and it's unfortunate that our media again, and I I put all this on the on the media's hand for not reporting the news accurately and not educating people the way they should.
- 33:14And in some cases, some of our politicians.
- 33:16But when you go to war, the harsh reality is some will not come back.
- 33:21And if they don't come back, we have to take care of their families.
- 33:24We have to take care of their families because they've paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we will have the freedom so that we will exist.
- 33:30And some will say, well, this is not our war, and why are we there?
- 33:34I hear a lot of people saying that foolishly, ignorantly, because they don't understand.
- 33:39Well, it's because the radical Islamists aren't holding a knife to their necks tomorrow.
- 33:43But but aside from that.
- 33:45But they're holding the knife to somebody's neck, but even with ours yet, so they want to wait.
- 33:50They don't want to wait, but they're gonna wait until that happens.
- 33:54It's not ours yet, but the fact remains is that whether we like it or not, we are the world's largest superpower.
- 34:05And we have to act like it.
- 34:07We have to take that position.
- 34:08Because if we don't, you would have other countries taking over other countries, interfering with our interests.
- 34:15So all those people who want to be isolationists, it does not work.
- 34:19We are the world's superpower, and we have to act as such.
- 34:22Unfortunately, previous presidents have not done that.
- 34:26The only thing they've done is doled out money.
- 34:29So would you prefer us building out money?
- 34:33It's foolish.
- 34:34Would you prefer us doling out money or standing up and saying, No, we're all out money.
- 34:40We're gonna tell you you're not gonna do it, and you're not going to do it.
- 34:43Look at what Trump is saying to Germany.
- 34:44We're calling back 5,000 troops, Germany.
- 34:46Oh my god, how can you do that?
- 34:48For too long, we have sat there and we have protected Germany, we have protected other European countries, and to what end?
- 34:54They have done nothing for us.
- 34:56We have given them security, and a lot of people in America, they don't know that.
- 35:00Know that they just want to say, oh, it's not our war.
- 35:00They just want to say, oh, it's not our war, it's not this.
- 35:02It's not this.
- 35:02I mean, Tucker Carlson used to say that.
- 35:02I mean, Tucker Carlson used to say that.
- 35:04Oh, it's not our war.
- 35:04Oh, it's not our war.
- 35:05Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, why are we doing this?
- 35:06Why are we doing this?
- 35:07It is because we are the world's largest superpower.
- 35:07It is because we are the world's largest superpower, and what we say should go.
- 35:10And what we say should go.
- 35:12And if we don't, you would have countries like Iran, like China, like Russia taking over other innocent countries.
- 35:12And if we don't, you would have countries like Iran, like China, like Russia taking over other innocent countries.
- 35:21And we can't stand for it.
- 35:21And we can't stand for it.
- 35:23And yes, we can say, well, let's look the other way because it's not us, but before long, it will impact us because we do business.
- 35:23And yes, we can say, well, let's look the other way because it's not us, but before long, it will impact us because we do business outside of the United States.
- 35:32We have to face reality folks.
- 35:35And if we go to war, if we well, we're in war.
- 35:38If we put our troops on the ground, like I said, I don't want it to happen, but some won't come back home.
- 35:44That's just the reality of it, the harsh reality.
- 35:48But we can't continue to kick this can down the road.
- 35:52And as you mentioned, Heather, our children, our grandchildren, our great grandchildren, they will be impacted by this.
- 35:58For four decades, Iran has set on the sidelines funding terrorist groups, causing harm to Americans, causing bloodshed of American lies.
- 36:10A lot of people weren't impacted by it because you don't know about it.
- 36:13You're not looking at geopolitics.
- 36:15We now have the opportunity to end it.
- 36:18And I would say to President Trump, Mr.
- 36:20President, please end it now.
- 36:22Forget about the negotiations.
- 36:24They don't want to negotiate.
- 36:25Go and level the place.
- 36:26They say we're done.
- 36:27Now we're coming home.
- 36:30Well, one thought, Rob.
- 36:32I just wanted to direct our listeners to my piece not long ago in National Review, in which I interviewed Mithal Alusi, and one idea, he's a great man, a former Iraqi parliamentarian whose children were murdered by an al Qaeda affiliate because he stood up for normalizing relations between Iraq and Israel and the United States.
- 36:55He's a great proponent of liberty of democracy and of um peaceful coexistence and very brave man who's survived many assassination attempts.
- 37:08So I really give a lot of credence to his point of view.
- 37:11One of the things he's told me, which has borne out, unfortunately the past few weeks, he said the regime, what what remains of it, they are looking to humiliate President Trump personally.
- 37:24They do not want to deal.
- 37:26They're trying to trick him, and they're dragging this out.
- 37:29I mean, he said this.
- 37:30You can go back, I think it's a few weeks ago.
- 37:32He said they're trying to humiliate him personally.
- 37:35And but I mean, he also talked about cutting off the money.
- 37:39He he keeps saying that there's massive billions of dollars going through, sadly, the Iraqi government into Iran.
- 37:48But Iraq's banks, I I don't uh know how it works exactly, but he's in very, very uh credible source.
- 37:56Heather, Heather, wait, hold keep hold that thought because we've got to go with our heart stop.
- 37:59And I want you to continue that, and I'm going to share with you about the banks because we know that the Secretary of Treasure has said that they're now looking at cutting, looking at those bank accounts and freezing those bank accounts.
- 38:10You listen to After Dark of the America Outlaw Talk Radio Network, up against a hard break.
- 38:14We're going to come back and heather will continue discussing what she said her friend had shared with her.

- 40:01Heather was just sharing with us what her friend shared with her, someone she had interviewed.
- 40:07Heather, continue your story, please.
- 40:09Yes, well, it's my source, uh, former Iraqi parliamentarian, Mithal Elusi, who served three terms in the Iraqi parliament.
- 40:18He ran on a platform championing normalized relations between uh Iraq and Israel and the United States.
- 40:27He's a pro-America great guy.
- 40:30And he's he's been speaking to me for many years about how Iran, the regime has bribed a lot of the Iraqi parliamentarians and his former fellow politicians, how most of them are on Iran's payroll, that Iran, the regime uh funds militias.
- 40:49He told me many years ago they were funding both sides of the so-called Iraqi insurgency, um, both the Sunni and Shi'i um militias, which are like terrorist groups, but they're they're like thugs who have who have exercised uh influence in Iraq by terroristic activities, um, you know, undermining the United States project and trying to build democracy and foster democracy there.
- 41:17He tells me that so much there's so much corruption in Iraq now.
- 41:22And I know it's it's hard to think about this when you when you think about the way our service members sacrificed to liberate Iraq.
- 41:29It's very, very sad.
- 41:32Um that a lot of their efforts were in vain because it was sabotaged by Iran, according to Alusi.
- 41:40Uh, it's not that nobody in Iraq wanted a better future, wanted democracy.
- 41:45Many people did bravely come out and vote, as we all recall, um, from the early 2000s.
- 41:52And but remember, there were all these suicide bombers would come out and blow people up and dismember crowds and hurt people.
- 42:00Crowds and hurt people.
- 42:02Um, and we were told, well, that was just a natural grassroots thing within Iraq that they wanted America gone.
- 42:02Um, and we were told, well, that was just a natural grassroots thing within Iraq, that they wanted America gone.
- 42:10Well, according to Alussi, it it isn't that.
- 42:10Well, according to Alussi, it it isn't that.
- 42:13I mean, they there may be some elements of that, but it was mainly engineered by Iran's regime.
- 42:13I mean, they uh there may be some elements of that, but it was mainly engineered by Iran's regime.
- 42:18You know, he told me this for years.
- 42:18You know, he told me this for years.
- 42:20They would do anything to sabotage the United States and our efforts there in that part of the world.
- 42:20They would do anything to sabotage the United States and our efforts there in that part of the world.
- 42:28And so he said that.
- 42:28And so he said that what's been happening recently is that they've they've used the banking system and they've bribed a lot of Iraqi politicians.
- 42:38And he said that money is going through Iraq into Iran because we buy Iraqi oil.
- 42:46So, in a sense, we are funding the Iranian regime, according to him, indirectly, because I don't know whether it's that our country has been naive.
- 42:55It wouldn't be the first time.
- 42:57I mean, if that's what's going on, you know, we we invested so much blood and treasure in trying to build a new, you know, trying to foster a new regime and you know, new government in Iraq, as we know when we deposed Saddam Hussein that you know, I think there's so much American life that's been sacrificed as another example of, you know, it was our courageous service members who did everything that was asked of them.
- 43:25But the reality is our leadership didn't really fight to win.
- 43:30I mean, it was like anyway.
- 43:33I don't want to get into the weeds here with my opinions, but the the news here, Rob, according to Alusi, okay, according to this very, very credible source, who everything.
- 43:43I mean, really, he's told me many things through the years, you know, who that have worn out.
- 43:49He's he's survived by the skin of his teeth.
- 43:52And I would say to our listeners who like Casablanca, the the the character I would compare him to is Victor Laszlo in Casablanca.
- 44:01He's a very idealistic, noble person who believed in helping Iraq and Iraqis to have a democracy, have a better way of life.
- 44:11He he went and he really lost more than his life.
- 44:14He lost his his only children in this effort.
- 44:18But you know, he hasn't left there, you know, he resides in Kurdistan now.
- 44:22Um, and you know, he tells me that he has nothing left to lose, and he tells the truth, and he just says that this we America, we know one thing we can do short of all out world war, you know, just going to the mattresses here is to cut off the flow of that money.
- 44:41You know, like you said, not only did President Obama give Iran directly money, which was outrageous, but you know, this has been going on according to Alusi for many years.
- 44:52There's been a big money train through Iraq into Iran.
- 44:58So I mean, look, I'd love to see us find a way to cut them off, cut off this regime.
- 45:03Maybe there's some ingenious ways to do it short of more bloodshed.
- 45:08I mean, I know you and I both would prefer that, right?
- 45:11I mean, it's not that we're warmongers or we want to see some big conflagration, but however it's accomplished.
- 45:18I mean, preferably without a uh an escalation militarily, you know, maybe there's something to President Trump can do in the Department of the Treasury.
- 45:31Well, like I said, uh Scott Besson said that they are looking at the the bank accounts of a lot of these countries that are you know sending money to Iran.
- 45:39But something that you hit on that I think is really important that I want our listeners to consider, and it's as simple as can be is that they want to embarrass President Trump.
- 45:49We know that the media wants to do it, and that is a reason why they keep saying, oh, we want to negotiate, oh, we're not going to think about it.
- 45:57Since February, Iran has been saying they want negotiate.
- 46:02They know what needs to happen.
- 46:04Stop enriching uranium.
- 46:07They can lie about it.
- 46:08They can say we're going to stop it and then continue to do it.
- 46:11But see, that's not the point.
- 46:14The point is drag this out, keep dragging it out, drag it all the way up to the midterms, allow the media to keep spinning our propaganda to make it seem as if though Trump doesn't know what he's doing.
- 46:27All the while Trump knows what he's doing.
- 46:30Look at the straight up Hamoots.
- 46:32Look at what he's doing there.
- 46:33Like he said this past weekend, they had to fire on uh Iran.
- 46:37He said, Oh, it was just a love tap.
- 46:40We could have decimated them right there.
- 46:43Again, my position, get rid of them.
- 46:47Who cares what the Democrats said?
- 46:49Once you've done it, they will move on to something else anyway, because they'll realize, oops, we have nothing else to talk about.
- 46:54Trump has done what Barack Obama could not do, what Joe Biden would not do, he's done it.
- 47:00So now what else can we talk about?
- 47:03This is just a talking point for them.
- 47:06Because they don't want to face reality.
- 47:09They want to embarrass Trump.
- 47:10They want to make it something seems as if Trump is deranged.
- 47:13Well, if he's just as deranged as you say he is, it would have already gotten rid of all these people.
- 47:18And then for those who are saying, well, why aren't they in the streets marching?
- 47:21Why aren't the industries taking back their government?
- 47:23Because we've told them to stay inside.
- 47:25That's what Iran wants.
- 47:26They want them out there so that they could target them and then they can blame it on us.
- 47:30But we still hear that they're still killing their own people.
- 47:34I say let Israel do what Israel needs to do, go in, get rid of them all.
- 47:40We come in, put a sill of approval on it, put a bow tie on it, decimate the infrastructure, decimate their power structure.
- 47:47It doesn't matter if it's going to take 20 years for them to rebuild.
- 47:50Let them do it.
- 47:51We don't have the time or the luxury to just sit here and pussy foot around with them.
- 47:56It's over.
- 47:57We know that Europe doesn't have the stomach for it because they're afraid of them.
- 48:00But yet still Europe wants the oil.
- 48:03They want us to do all the heavy lifting.
- 48:05So they can come up right and say, oh, our hands are clean.
- 48:08No, your hands aren't clean.
- 48:09I'm glad the president's there, we're going to remove the truce from Germany.
- 48:12Let Germany fan for itself.
- 48:14And if Russia goes in and starts antagonizing them, and so be it.
- 48:17So be and what is NATO doing?
- 48:19NATO can very easily come out and say, Iran, they are giving you a way out.
- 48:24Why don't you accept it?
- 48:26The UN could do the same thing.
- 48:28Why won't they?
- 48:29See, this is the question that the media should be putting out there.
- 48:32Why is it NATO in the UN won't come out and denounce Iran and say, look, you might not like what's happening here, but they're giving you a way out.
- 48:42Do you not want to save your civilization?
- 48:44Do you not value your life?
- 48:46Why won't they say it?
- 48:48Now I'm sure many people have never thought of that.
- 48:50Why won't the UN go in and tell Iran, Iran?
- 48:54What are you guys doing?
- 48:56You're up against a no-win situation.
- 48:59What are you waiting for?
- 49:00For you don't have any cards.
- 49:00You don't have any cards.
- 49:03You're running out of space to store your oil.
- 49:03You're running out of space to store your oil.
- 49:07Why won't they?
- 49:07Why won't they?
- 49:08Well, I'll tell you why they won't.
- 49:08Well, I'll tell you why they won't.
- 49:10Because you have representatives like Prem Lajaya Paul, who's probably telling them, hold on, hold on, Trump will give in, Trump will give in.
- 49:10Because you have representatives like Prem Lajaya Paul, who's probably telling them, hold on, hold on, Trump will give in, Trump will give in.
- 49:18Just hold on.
- 49:18Just hold on, we support you.
- 49:18We support you.
- 49:20Now imagine if we were to go in and confiscate a lot of their internal discussions, a lot of their phone records.
- 49:20Now imagine if we were to go in and confiscate a lot of their internal discussions, a lot of their phone records.
- 49:29Imagine.
- 49:29Imagine what we would find out.
- 49:31Because I'm sure that there are back lines that are going backwards and forward, telling them, just hold on, just hold on.
- 49:37We got this, we got this.
- 49:38And they don't have it.
- 49:40They don't care about the sanctity of life.
- 49:42We see that already, because if they did, they would have like given in from day one in February.
- 49:48But they don't care.
- 49:51The only negotiating that I could see that they have is saying that they're going to negotiate, but they're not going to, Mr.
- 49:58President, end it, just end it.
- 50:01End their misery.
- 50:04They're not serious.
- 50:05They're not serious negotiators.
- 50:07They don't have any courage to play.
- 50:09But what they're hoping is, as you mentioned, Heather, they want to embarrass you.
- 50:14They want to turn your base off.
- 50:15And we have a lot of folks who pretend to be Republicans.
- 50:20They're just Republicans or Trump supporters or MAGA supporters for four years.
- 50:25That's it.
- 50:26They like the fact that Trump is there and he's telling everybody you got to do this, you got to do that.
- 50:31But when he's showing real leadership, which is what he's doing, then they want to say, oh, it's time to move past Trump.
- 50:37Oh, it's great because he lied to us.
- 50:39He told us this.
- 50:40Now, these are the same people who have forgotten.
- 50:44Unemployment is down.
- 50:46The stock market is doing great.
- 50:48Our economy is going great.
- 50:50Trump RX.
- 50:52Trump accounts, no tax on tips, that the huge uh tax return you got back.
- 50:58They've forgotten all about that.
- 51:00They've just forgotten about it.
- 51:01Because the only thing they can focus on right now are gas prices.
- 51:05Trust me, I get it.
- 51:06I hear you.
- 51:07But again, a moment of discomfort for a lifetime of peace, that trumps your moment of discomfort.
- 51:17It outweighs your moment of discomfort.
- 51:21So you're telling me that you just want four years of comfort.
- 51:26And then after the four years, we go back to this repressive these threats, not this uncertainty.
- 51:34I mean, this is what people are saying.
- 51:36Oh, this is how they're behaving because they're not thinking logically, Heather.
- 51:40This little discomfort.
- 51:42I know the gas prices, I don't like it either.
- 51:45But just imagine if Trump were to say, okay, let's just give in.
- 51:49Let's give them what they want.
- 51:51Gas prices go down, then you guys are happy.
- 51:53Oh, yeah, we're happy now, we're happy, we're happy.
- 51:56And then the moment Trump leaves office, then we have all these terrorist attacks.
- 51:59We have all these terrorist threats.
- 52:02Why not just nip it in the bud and be done with it?
- 52:07Everybody should explain how Trump is playing like 3D chess.
- 52:12You look at what he's done with Venezuela.
- 52:14We're now oil, we depend on ourselves.
- 52:18We don't have to depend on other countries.
- 52:20We're the largest producers of oil.
- 52:23I mean, think about it.
- 52:24We now have Venezuela on our side.
- 52:27Cuba could collapse at any moment if Trump were to just say, okay, I'm not gonna let Russia send any oil there, just let them fall.
- 52:34But he's playing this methodically.
- 52:36Let's get this done first and then the next one.
- 52:38But no one is looking at this.
- 52:40They've forgotten what we've done in Venezuela.
- 52:42They've forgotten about it.
- 52:43They've forgotten about all the peace deals that we've done in Africa and all these other countries.
- 52:47They don't see it because the media is clouding their site with the whole thing with gas because they're making them think, oh, your discomfort is too much.
- 52:56You don't want this discomfort.
- 52:57Oh no, oh no.
- 53:00Folks, wake up and look at what Trump is doing.
- 53:04He is trying to secure America.
- 53:07That's making America great again.
- 53:09Trying to secure us with the Western hemisphere so that we don't have China and her backyard wheeling and dealing in Venezuela, wheeling and dealing in Cuba and the other Caribbean islands.
- 53:21He has them at checkmate.
- 53:24If you would only look at it, stop looking at CNN, stop looking at the propaganda that they're producing.
- 53:31Look at what he's doing.
- 53:33Your moments of discomfort is only will last only for a while.
- 53:38If we're able to just cut the head off this dragon, I mean, and I think that Trump would do it, but he's trying to gauge public sentiments.
- 53:48How do they feel about it?
- 53:49And as I said, I don't want our troops on the ground, I don't want our bloodshed because I know that the wannabe Republicans will just go completely ballistic.
- 53:56Oh, they'll just throw everything up in the air, they won't go out and vote.
- 54:00It's like when you don't vote, you're turning it over to the Democrats, and the Democrats know it.
- 54:06You claim to be MAGA, but when it's time to vote, when it really counts, you won't go vote.
- 54:13Why?
- 54:13Well, I'm mad.
- 54:14Why are you mad?
- 54:15Well, because Trump, he said he was going to do this and he didn't do it.
- 54:18So you're willing to allow Democrats to take control, knowing what they're going to do.
- 54:23They're going to continue to destroy the country, and then you're going to want to blame Trump.
- 54:27Well, we got to blame Trump because Trump, no, you blame yourself because you didn't go out and you didn't vote.
- 54:32You wanted to sit up and say, oh, it's time to move past Trump.
- 54:36What kind of rhetoric is that?
- 54:38You can be critical without saying foolishness like that.
- 54:40It's like, come on, do you think a Democrat would say that?
- 54:42No.
- 54:43They knew that Camelot was horrible.
- 54:45But not once did they say, oh, don't go vote.
- 54:47They said, no, go vote.
- 54:49It's like we got to wake up sometime.
- 54:51MAGA, I think sometimes we step on our own message, thinking that, oh, I'm independent and we don't have to agree.
- 54:59You can agree to disagree, but you still go to the polls and vote.
- 55:04Even if Trump want to put troops on the ground, I'm not going to say, well, I'm not going to vote for him.
- 55:08I've got to move beyond him.
- 55:09No, because I know what's on the other side, Heather.
- 55:12And what's on the other side is doom and gloom.
- 55:15What's on the other side are policies that will destroy us.
- 55:20What's on the other side is allowing China to come in and rule the day, which is what Barack Obama wanted.
- 55:26You think about Al Gore.
- 55:28Look at what Al Gore did with this whole climate change.
- 55:30And now he's moved on to now, oh, the world's going to be frozen over.
- 55:34Seriously.
- 55:35Yes, he's just moved on.
- 55:38He's moved on from climate change.
- 55:40He's now saying, oh, we we now have a situation on our hand that, you know, we'll we're looking at these glaciers and we're going to see ice storms.
- 55:47And I'm thinking, wait a minute, what about global warming?
- 55:49He's now trying to make money off of that money off of our fears, money off of us not being informed, which is exactly what the media is doing.
- 55:59If you're not informed, they know that they can come in and they can control the narratives, and then we will believe it.
- 56:00Not informed, they know that they can come in and they can control the narratives, and then we will believe it.
- 56:05Unfortunately, you have a lot of folks on the right who will believe it, because they're not listening to people like us on America Out Loud and After Dark, with people like yourself, Heather.
- 56:05Unfortunately, you have a lot of folks on the right who will believe it because they're not listening to people like us on America Out Loud and After Dark with people like yourself, Heather, as I opened up saying, you know, we thank you for coming on and giving us your analysis.
- 56:17As I opened up saying, you know, we thank you for coming on and giving us your analysis.
- 56:23And guess what, folks?
- 56:23And guess what, folks?
- 56:24We're all out of time.
- 56:24We're all out of time.
- 56:25Sorry, but we're gonna come back on tomorrow.
- 56:25Sorry, but we're gonna come back on tomorrow.
- 56:28And I hope you will join us.
- 56:28And I hope you will join us every Monday when we have on the great Heather Robinson, a contributor for the New York Post.
- 56:36You've been listening to After Dark on the America Out Loud Talk Radio Network.
- 56:40I've been your host, Rob Harper.
- 56:42And as we always say, God bless America, God bless Israel, and God protect and direct our great leaders, especially President Trump.
- 56:52Thank you and good night.
