- 0:43Speaker 2: he was felthy and I, SA's just easy on there
- 0:46Speaker 2: on old Kezy, old Mogi.
- 0:49Speaker 5: And then anyway, that's why he's the first one to
- 0:51Speaker 5: bring it up.
- 0:52Speaker 2: And anyway, so you start and you start walking towards
- 0:55Speaker 2: the studio and it's all good. MOGGI here comes Kezy
- 0:59Speaker 2: and then he points and I was like, did the
- 1:01Speaker 2: shoulder thing?
- 1:02Speaker 1: What's going on? Keezy?
- 1:03Speaker 2: And he pointed at his coffee cup. I'm going to
- 1:06Speaker 2: go across the road and get.
- 1:07Speaker 3: A across the road.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I love the man.
- 1:11Speaker 2: At a number fifteen minutes, forty minutes waiting for Kezy.
- 1:17Speaker 6: But you're here now, Yeah, man, waiting for Waiting for God?
- 1:22Speaker 1: God?
- 1:25Speaker 6: Come on, man, Oh, drama mistake. You know that Luke
- 1:33Speaker 6: is that his name could play that Waiting for God?
- 1:36Speaker 6: Not the one I saw who depends he's performing im?
- 1:41Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:41Speaker 5: Really I might have been to Ian McKellen. I feel
- 1:45Speaker 5: like it was Patrick Stewart.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I feel like I've heard about that.
- 1:49Speaker 5: I saw that.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I just here he hitters Hugh Sho.
- 1:55Speaker 5: It wasn't an old mate, the guy that was the
- 1:57Speaker 5: host of Tonight, Matthew. I'm going to D's the al
- 2:02Speaker 5: Matthew something or other. I don't realize he was an actor,
- 2:05Speaker 5: big bearded fucker he is. And the problem that I
- 2:09Speaker 5: heard with it as I wish I had have known
- 2:11Speaker 5: more about the play when I went yes, because when
- 2:14Speaker 5: I've spoken about this before. But it took me about
- 2:19Speaker 5: over half of the play to realize, Yeah, it's just
- 2:25Speaker 5: these two fuck sitting on a bench and what do
- 2:28Speaker 5: they cheat about?
- 2:29Speaker 3: Is it interesting?
- 2:30Speaker 1: Well?
- 2:30Speaker 5: I was kind of waiting for God? Yeah it is
- 2:35Speaker 5: old God. Oh I can't remember, to be honest, No,
- 2:40Speaker 5: maybe now, But when I saw it, what was that?
- 2:43Speaker 5: It would have been in my early twenties mid to
- 2:46Speaker 5: late twenties.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I've got a funny feeling Mogi that my wife saw
- 2:51Speaker 2: the same play right with the same actors someone I
- 2:56Speaker 2: know I can't remember.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Actually it might have been Jason's wife, but I didn't
- 3:01Speaker 5: know Jose then, which is about right. I can remember
- 3:04Speaker 5: who I went, but I remember the theater in Wellington
- 3:07Speaker 5: and all that sort of stuff, but remember being over it.
- 3:10Speaker 6: Yeah theater, aver it theater, not oh no. The last
- 3:14Speaker 6: show I saw was your wife's play. No theater is
- 3:16Speaker 6: generally great.
- 3:17Speaker 5: That one I didn't like, Yeah, because and it's also
- 3:19Speaker 5: a classic, which again makes it tricky.
- 3:21Speaker 3: That's what I was gonna say.
- 3:22Speaker 6: It is like the classic ones were like, you know,
- 3:24Speaker 6: you've heard the name of quite a few times, and
- 3:26Speaker 6: then you go watch it, and then you it's obviously
- 3:29Speaker 6: was important when it came out and liter modern theater,
- 3:33Speaker 6: but when I watched I'm like, oh my god, this
- 3:34Speaker 6: is so confused.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Well, having said that, talking about the classics, the last
- 3:37Speaker 2: play I went to a View from.
- 3:39Speaker 1: The Bread Jill, which was fucking amazing, Yes, really good.
- 3:43Speaker 3: But what I like it though, Yeah, I think you
- 3:44Speaker 3: would have.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Keeazy seriously, it's a very good. Play was very good.
- 3:47Speaker 1: It was very well done, very well done. And it's
- 3:50Speaker 1: always a good sign because the night we went there
- 3:53Speaker 1: was a.
- 3:54Speaker 2: School there, you know, late teens up on the up,
- 3:58Speaker 2: in the upper class drama class.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Maybe very well, but they loved it. They were yellow
- 4:03Speaker 1: and holler and yahoo and yellowing yellowing. Yeah, they were
- 4:07Speaker 1: massively invested.
- 4:08Speaker 5: That's great.
- 4:09Speaker 1: There were gasps and tears.
- 4:12Speaker 5: The gasp worthy play, isn't it?
- 4:13Speaker 1: It is certain moments in the player.
- 4:15Speaker 2: You go, oh, the Wholarky Big Show week days from
- 4:19Speaker 2: four on radio Hurdarky.
- 4:22Speaker 4: You know how good the haraky Big Show podcasters and
- 4:30Speaker 4: you get it. You're gonna get around the live radio
- 4:33Speaker 4: show to seven weight days on radio Hiarchy and I
- 4:38Speaker 4: had radio you'reorn nice?
- 4:42Speaker 5: Remember the ha Warchy Big Show podcast?
- 4:45Speaker 3: What's the style of theater called?
- 4:46Speaker 6: Were you supposed to make all those noise like ohanomimes?
- 4:50Speaker 5: Behind you?
- 4:51Speaker 1: He's behind you?
- 4:53Speaker 3: That's have you behind?
- 4:54Speaker 1: I have done a.
- 4:55Speaker 5: Paranormals of Pandamon.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Sugar and Spice with Michael Hurst. Oh yes, I can't
- 5:01Speaker 1: remember the name of it, but so what.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Was the you were playing?
- 5:05Speaker 2: And then the audience we weren't being sure and Spice,
- 5:07Speaker 2: we were being at you and me and Johnny.
- 5:10Speaker 3: So what was the story of the pantomime?
- 5:12Speaker 1: I can't even remember to be but it was all
- 5:16Speaker 1: of that. It was he's behind you. I was like,
- 5:20Speaker 1: could you shut the fuck up? We're doing a play.
- 5:23Speaker 6: They would be funny a pantomime where telling them to shut.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Up where the audience is in a pantomime but the
- 5:31Speaker 5: cast is not.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And I and I told you guys a story before
- 5:35Speaker 2: and I won't say it again on here, but just
- 5:37Speaker 2: before we opened the opening show for that play, one
- 5:42Speaker 2: of the cast members just lost the plot completely and
- 5:46Speaker 2: shit on everyone.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And everyone just went.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Said everyone with Shiit just was not happy.
- 5:53Speaker 2: And this was this was literally before we half an
- 5:57Speaker 2: hour before we opened our first show.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Yeah right, And it was like, oh, that's a real
- 6:01Speaker 1: down there.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Did you crush?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Yeah? We did. It's a pandom mime is quite fun.
- 6:06Speaker 5: Is it for kids?
- 6:07Speaker 1: It's fat kids and adults?
- 6:09Speaker 5: Yeah? Kids love it? Red writing, wouldn't ye? Christmas specials
- 6:14Speaker 5: are big.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to think what it was actually, But anyway.
- 6:17Speaker 6: But if I'm an adult and I'm at the theater
- 6:18Speaker 6: and it's just like has anyone seen The Big bed Wolf?
- 6:21Speaker 5: And then I'm not gonna go He's mine. Yeah, you
- 6:24Speaker 5: get into it. Do you remember the the one on
- 6:27Speaker 5: Extras where Ricky Gervais is a genie, Yes, a gay genie.
- 6:32Speaker 3: That is so funny.
- 6:33Speaker 5: I have cried many tears laughing at him and that
- 6:40Speaker 5: in that scene where he's on stage. Well, actually the
- 6:42Speaker 5: whole thing is absolutely out of the gate. There's a
- 6:46Speaker 5: guy that directs it who's homosexually used to be in
- 6:50Speaker 5: a marriage, but he's realized after all this time that
- 6:53Speaker 5: he's actually gay, and he is absolutely loving his time
- 6:55Speaker 5: as a gay feller.
- 6:56Speaker 6: Yeah, he's such a good actor, appears and other stuff,
- 6:59Speaker 6: and he's very I think.
- 7:00Speaker 5: That might be the funniest half hour of television I've
- 7:02Speaker 5: ever seen in terms of just like cry, laugh after cry,
- 7:07Speaker 5: laugh after cry.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Laugh.
- 7:08Speaker 6: If people are listening haven't seen extras. In my opinion,
- 7:12Speaker 6: Jervas's best show.
- 7:16Speaker 3: But I can watch the whole of Extras all in
- 7:19Speaker 3: a row.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:22Speaker 5: Well that's right though we were talking about it here.
- 7:24Speaker 5: You have your thing that you think might be the
- 7:25Speaker 5: best movie ever, but you don't necessarily want to watch it.
- 7:29Speaker 5: There's really watchables. Yeah, you want to watch heaps.
- 7:33Speaker 2: It's reminding me of of the scene and Blades of
- 7:38Speaker 2: Glory where where he goes and does on the ice,
- 7:43Speaker 2: you know, the creatures that it's a winter wonderland and
- 7:47Speaker 2: he's just massively steamed and he throws up in his suit.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Because good, very good.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Extures when like Patrick Stewart's in it and he keeps
- 8:03Speaker 6: trying to write a play about a guy who can
- 8:06Speaker 6: make women's clothes just fall off it.
- 8:08Speaker 3: And then when Ian McKellen's and.
- 8:10Speaker 6: He's talking about he's explaining how he became Gandalf, and
- 8:12Speaker 6: he's like, I wasn't actually being the wizard.
- 8:15Speaker 5: I was pretending to be were written down. I just
- 8:17Speaker 5: learned it was.
- 8:19Speaker 6: It's so fun And then Daniel Radcliffe, who keeps trying
- 8:21Speaker 6: to because he's still a he's trying to he's heading
- 8:25Speaker 6: on everyone. He's only like fourteen. It is so funny.
- 8:29Speaker 6: It's a brilliant TV show. Yeah without another world track show,
- 8:33Speaker 6: it's it's brilliant.
- 8:35Speaker 3: It's his best. And then at the setcom sitcom.
- 8:37Speaker 6: Not Geez disclaimer, the sitcom that he lands in it,
- 8:42Speaker 6: which is like got all the punchlines and stuff and
- 8:44Speaker 6: the laugh track yeah, and like David Bowie is in
- 8:47Speaker 6: it and writes writes a song about him, like it's fucking.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Brilliant as a fat bastard.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Happy little fat.
- 8:54Speaker 6: I remember because I remember an interview with Ricky Gervais
- 8:57Speaker 6: where they were talking about him working with David Bowie,
- 9:01Speaker 6: and when Ricky was sort of explaining how the scene
- 9:03Speaker 6: would work, he was like, yeah, so if you just
- 9:05Speaker 6: do another kind of like Life on Mars type and
- 9:09Speaker 6: then boh, just another Life on Mars.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Okay, sweet, that'll be easy. Yeah, very funny.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I actually watched that scene just the other day from
- 9:19Speaker 2: the office where the guy does the dancing.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Reminded me of it. You so when you're doing that video,
- 9:27Speaker 5: but when he comes in, he gets a motivational speaker
- 9:30Speaker 5: thing right, and he walks in, Yeah the be he's
- 9:34Speaker 5: got that on, and then he's got his cap and
- 9:37Speaker 5: he puts it on backwards and he's getting a clearing
- 9:40Speaker 5: and you're just you're watching it, just fucking dying for him. Yeah,
- 9:44Speaker 5: so bad, Absolutely the worst brilliant. There's a bit where
- 9:48Speaker 5: he's backstage and he's getting Andreas and he's put the
- 9:51Speaker 5: shirt and a woman walks in and he sucks one
- 9:57Speaker 5: of the great pieces of acting of all time. Yeah,
- 9:59Speaker 5: I can't watch too much of that show.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Oh yeah's your wife would hate it. She'd just be squirming,
- 10:05Speaker 2: wouldn't she k easy.
- 10:07Speaker 3: I don't know, she's never seen.
- 10:08Speaker 2: It be interesting because she doesn't like uncomfortable, painful violence.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Or Yeah, she probably wouldn't enjoy it.
- 10:16Speaker 1: She'd probably go oh god.
- 10:18Speaker 6: Yeah, and she probably wouldn't see the genius behind it.
- 10:20Speaker 6: She'd just be like, this is fucking painful to watch.
- 10:22Speaker 3: And that's it.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Wow.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Listen to The Big Show four or seven weekdays. Radiohole Hockey.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Okay,
