- 4:57Speaker 2: Yeah I had to do it, and that they got
- 4:58Speaker 2: to kick out of Well you were doing that. I
- 5:02Speaker 2: was having an encounter that. Let me just say, this
- 5:06Speaker 2: change my trajectory in life. Oh all right, you know
- 5:09Speaker 2: I hate birds? Oh yeah, I don't hate birds. I
- 5:12Speaker 2: have a love hate relationship with birds because they just
- 5:15Speaker 2: freaked me out, especially the Walmart birds.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Right.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I had an encounter with a bird over the weekend
- 5:22Speaker 2: that shook me to the core.
- 5:23Speaker 5: I think its tough stories on the tents with Billy
- 5:27Speaker 5: the Kid in.
- 5:27Speaker 3: The morning only on the New Mix one or two
- 5:30Speaker 3: point nine.
- 5:31Speaker 2: That trip to see Harry Styles coming up. We do
- 5:33Speaker 2: it on the forties all day, every hour. So yeah,
- 5:35Speaker 2: this would be such a good trip on us. Make
- 5:38Speaker 2: it happen. If you want to go, make sure you listen.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Canda Selow Paz, who do you got to say?
- 5:42Speaker 8: Hot to you?
- 5:42Speaker 7: By the way, I can say hi to ShredIt Man Joseph.
- 5:45Speaker 7: I met him on Saturday in Arlington.
- 5:47Speaker 6: I was doing this.
- 5:48Speaker 7: Community shred event with Jackson Hewett and she was our
- 5:52Speaker 7: guy that was shredding, and he had the big truck
- 5:54Speaker 7: and all that stuff, and he said he listens to
- 5:55Speaker 7: a lot of radio stations and a lot of different
- 5:57Speaker 7: types of music, but he said he is with us
- 6:00Speaker 7: this morning listening for sure.
- 6:02Speaker 6: So hey to ShredIt man, Joseph.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Okay, ShredIt man, Joseph, thank you, and shred all those
- 6:06Speaker 2: other radio stations give us exactly, yeah, okay, shred those.
- 6:11Speaker 1: We don't need those. We need you in our life.
- 6:13Speaker 6: Joseph, exactly. Lovely to meet you, Joseph.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Yeah, and I got a whole job.
- 6:17Speaker 2: You can come over to my house and shred all
- 6:19Speaker 2: these love notes that I have for excess.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Okay, I might.
- 6:23Speaker 7: Neigh bring the truck to Carrollton first. It's big enough,
- 6:29Speaker 7: all right, guys. Well, important news you should know about.
- 6:31Speaker 7: LaGuardia Airport closed this morning after a deadly collision on
- 6:35Speaker 7: the runway. And Air Canada flight and a fire truck
- 6:37Speaker 7: collided just before midnight. That pilot and co pilot were
- 6:41Speaker 7: both killed in that incident. Dozens of others were injured.
- 6:45Speaker 7: But this plane was carrying seventy six people. It was
- 6:48Speaker 7: landing at the time when a fire truck was crossing
- 6:50Speaker 7: that active runway to respond to a separate incident. That
- 6:54Speaker 7: flight was coming in from Montreal, but the reports are
- 6:56Speaker 7: saying it was foggy at the time. But there is
- 6:59Speaker 7: air traffic control audio that has been released as well,
- 7:02Speaker 7: telling them, you know, stop stop, but unfortunately there was
- 7:05Speaker 7: no way.
- 7:06Speaker 1: To avoid that the truck to stop.
- 7:08Speaker 6: Yeah, telling the truck to stop.
- 7:09Speaker 7: But you know, passengers have released video of this and
- 7:12Speaker 7: there's just you know, severe damage to the nose of
- 7:14Speaker 7: that plane.
- 7:15Speaker 6: But they're investigating commercial.
- 7:17Speaker 7: This was, Yeah, it was an Air Canada flight that
- 7:20Speaker 7: was coming in, so yeah, thinking about everyone in that incident.
- 7:23Speaker 7: This morning, weather looks good for your work week. We
- 7:26Speaker 7: did have a cold front come through last night, so
- 7:28Speaker 7: it's gonna be closer to normal springlike weather today. We'll
- 7:32Speaker 7: have a high around eighty. But we had a record
- 7:34Speaker 7: yesterday of ninety five.
- 7:36Speaker 1: It was so hot.
- 7:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I just thought to myself, is it going to be
- 7:39Speaker 2: like this every summer when it's spring starts an you know,
- 7:42Speaker 2: or when spring starts and it gets too hot. I'm like,
- 7:44Speaker 2: does this mean the worst summer ever about to happen?
- 7:47Speaker 2: Because I don't want it to be ninety five already?
- 7:49Speaker 7: Yeah, no kidding, we are going to warm up midweek
- 7:52Speaker 7: and then cool down for the weekend. But it's sixty
- 7:54Speaker 7: three right now, so today should be pretty nice. And
- 7:56Speaker 7: we have to talk about this bodycam footage from Justin
- 7:59Speaker 7: Tolakes Do you I Arrest? That was released over the weekend.
- 8:03Speaker 7: They released an unedited nineteen minute video.
- 8:06Speaker 6: This was the one, of course, his team was trying
- 8:08Speaker 6: to keep from coming out because you know, they were.
- 8:10Speaker 7: Afraid he was going to be publicly ridiculed.
- 8:13Speaker 6: Well, you see him.
- 8:14Speaker 7: Take his field sobriety tests and then get booked.
- 8:17Speaker 6: You said you didn't think it was as bad as
- 8:19Speaker 6: you thought it was.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I thought they didn't want to release because it was
- 8:21Speaker 2: going to be him dropping his name or trying to
- 8:23Speaker 2: you know, maybe be I don't know, throw his name
- 8:27Speaker 2: around to it as way to leverage.
- 8:28Speaker 1: But it really wasn't.
- 8:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, he comments at one point, these tests
- 8:33Speaker 7: are really hard.
- 8:34Speaker 6: You know, my heart is racing.
- 8:35Speaker 7: They ask him, you know, what are you doing and
- 8:37Speaker 7: he's like, I'm on a world tour.
- 8:39Speaker 6: It's hard to explain.
- 8:40Speaker 1: That was the funny part.
- 8:41Speaker 6: That part was really funny because I did not know.
- 8:44Speaker 2: What the cop did not recognize him. No, the cop goes,
- 8:47Speaker 2: what what any world tour? Yeah, He's like, I'm justin Timberlake, right.
- 8:51Speaker 2: The guy's like, oh, you're just Timberlake. My favorite part, though,
- 8:56Speaker 2: two is when they put down there making them fill
- 8:58Speaker 2: out paperwork or whatever. They put him down as right,
- 9:01Speaker 2: and he goes wait white, and the cop well yeah,
- 9:06Speaker 2: and he goes, I'm just messing with you. And I
- 9:07Speaker 2: was like, this is kind of weird. You could obviously
- 9:10Speaker 2: tell he was hammering.
- 9:11Speaker 6: Oh yeah.
- 9:12Speaker 7: The interesting part to me, though, was that friend that
- 9:15Speaker 7: we heard about who was in the car with him.
- 9:17Speaker 7: She's apparently a really well known interior designer named Essie Stanley,
- 9:21Speaker 7: you know, and she's really the one that's playing the card.
- 9:24Speaker 7: You know, you're gonna arrest justin Timberlake. Can you do
- 9:26Speaker 7: me a favor?
- 9:27Speaker 6: You know, because you loved Bye Bye buying sexy back? Right, Like,
- 9:30Speaker 6: can you do me a favor?
- 9:32Speaker 1: Oh? God?
- 9:32Speaker 6: Trying to you know, throw his name around a little bit.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I didn't see that part.
- 9:35Speaker 6: Oh you gotta go.
- 9:36Speaker 7: Watch that par well. The video was nineteen minutes. But
- 9:38Speaker 7: her part, she's the star of this whole thing.
- 9:40Speaker 2: She is.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I didn't even see her.
- 9:42Speaker 7: Yeah, she asked, you know, can I drive the car home,
- 9:44Speaker 7: and then there's a whole thing about where's his phone
- 9:46Speaker 7: gonna go?
- 9:47Speaker 6: Is she gonna take it? Is Justin gonna take it?
- 9:49Speaker 2: You don't want to shout out to these cops though,
- 9:50Speaker 2: because they did their job. Yeah, no, they did, and
- 9:52Speaker 2: I hope nobody hates on them, because you can't drive
- 9:55Speaker 2: like that.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Period. It's not cool, no matter who you are.
- 9:58Speaker 2: And Justin didn't take it like badly or he was
- 10:02Speaker 2: actually really friendly and I thought he took responsibility.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Yeah, kind of sort of.
- 10:06Speaker 7: I feel bad that this whole video came out because
- 10:08Speaker 7: I just don't think they would.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Have released it if it weren't him, But like.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Well it's available.
- 10:13Speaker 2: If it's video, and it's available, anybody can request it.
- 10:16Speaker 2: So I mean, sure, you know it is what it is,
- 10:18Speaker 2: But what do you do with your interior designer at
- 10:20Speaker 2: two am, three am?
- 10:21Speaker 7: Yeah, I have no idea. It didn't feel like that.
- 10:24Speaker 7: It didn't feel like that at all. No, go watch
- 10:26Speaker 7: the part where st comes out.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I mean, what does she look like? Is she cute?
- 10:30Speaker 6: I mean I didn't look at her that close, but I.
- 10:34Speaker 7: Don't think that that's what was going on.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Well, what are you doing hanging out with an interior
- 10:37Speaker 2: design has a problem with Let me just ask you
- 10:40Speaker 2: if you're married, Yeah, then he is right, And she's
- 10:44Speaker 2: the only one that you're driving home with at two am?
- 10:47Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 10:48Speaker 1: Or following?
- 10:49Speaker 6: Right? She wasn't driving?
- 10:52Speaker 1: Was she the only one in there car?
- 10:55Speaker 4: Ye?
- 10:56Speaker 1: Would you be okay with Eric following some other woman home?
- 10:59Speaker 8: Oh?
- 10:59Speaker 6: No, she was in the car with him.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Oh, it sounded like he was following someone home.
- 11:03Speaker 7: Though he said he was. He said he was following
- 11:05Speaker 7: his friends home. But they just kept going.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh, and she's the only one in the car.
- 11:12Speaker 6: That's how I took it.
- 11:13Speaker 1: So when's the divorce happening, which.
- 11:16Speaker 6: I'm not, Come on, kids, Yeah, no, the whole thing
- 11:19Speaker 6: is weird.
- 11:20Speaker 7: Yeah, but we don't know that part of the story.
- 11:22Speaker 7: But he it was wild. He said, the whole thing
- 11:24Speaker 7: was wild.
- 11:25Speaker 8: Yeah, there you go.
- 11:26Speaker 6: I'm Candoloz. Those are in Texas Top Stories.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Good morning, Billy the Kid. Canda Slopez is here, producer
- 11:31Speaker 2: who is here. Hopefully had a great weekend. It's probably
- 11:34Speaker 2: nearly on a Monday. I know a lot of people
- 11:35Speaker 2: did some stuff for Spring break.
- 11:36Speaker 8: I did.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I had a great time for the most part.
- 11:39Speaker 2: My son and I. We went to Galveston to fish
- 11:42Speaker 2: for a little bit. We didn't even want to deal
- 11:43Speaker 2: with any flights or the airports because it's just yeah,
- 11:46Speaker 2: and I don't care what anybody says about Galveston.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I like it.
- 11:49Speaker 6: Oh yeah, okay.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I've created some great memories there with my son.
- 11:52Speaker 2: And we went fishing and everything was good, and he
- 11:54Speaker 2: brought a couple of friends, and life's fine until I
- 11:56Speaker 2: had the most terrifying bird encounter of my life. And
- 12:00Speaker 2: you can laugh all you want, and I know, like
- 12:03Speaker 2: somebody just said, somebody just dampoo and said, the Walmart
- 12:06Speaker 2: birds are scary. Matter of Fami. My son works at Walmart.
- 12:08Speaker 2: And what does she call them?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Crack crows? Melinda, thank you? And they call him crack
- 12:14Speaker 1: crows because that's what they are.
- 12:17Speaker 2: And they running gangs and it's pretty much organized crime,
- 12:21Speaker 2: right anyway, So we go to Galveston and we're fishing,
- 12:24Speaker 2: and let me get to this story, because we're doing
- 12:26Speaker 2: some night fishing on a pier, right, and I did
- 12:29Speaker 2: an airbnb and there's a peer private pier, so we
- 12:32Speaker 2: have it.
- 12:32Speaker 1: All to ourselves. It's great.
- 12:34Speaker 2: So I look behind me and him, my son and
- 12:37Speaker 2: his two friends, were all fishing, and I looked behind
- 12:40Speaker 2: me because I heard a little noise and it was
- 12:41Speaker 2: a heron, one of those big birds. Oh yeah, black
- 12:45Speaker 2: crown heron, I think they call them. So I was like, oh,
- 12:48Speaker 2: don't love this. But he's okay. He's just sitting there.
- 12:52Speaker 2: We named them, Herman. We're sitting there and I'm trying
- 12:56Speaker 2: to obviously make friends with him because I don't want
- 12:58Speaker 2: to die. So I give him a little fish, you know,
- 13:01Speaker 2: that we had that we're using for bait, and Herman's like, thanks, homie.
- 13:05Speaker 2: You could see that we're like friends, we're like frenemies.
- 13:09Speaker 2: He's not getting too close to me, but he's like
- 13:11Speaker 2: aware of the situation and he's getting a little more.
- 13:14Speaker 2: He's getting a little too close for comfort. So I'm like, okay, Herman,
- 13:18Speaker 2: you can back up a little bit. I'll still give
- 13:19Speaker 2: you a shrimp or something. Here and there. Needless to say,
- 13:22Speaker 2: we run out of bait. So the great part was
- 13:25Speaker 2: there's a frozen bait vending machine like a block from us, wow,
- 13:29Speaker 2: at a convenience store. So we're like, hey, let's walk
- 13:31Speaker 2: up to get some frozen shrimp so we can keep fishing.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Oh so I said all.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Right, take your poles out of the water, and you know,
- 13:39Speaker 2: let's let's just go up there and we'll come right back.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Cool.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Well, one of my son's friends, you know, he doesn't
- 13:45Speaker 2: fish that often, so he just we just kind of
- 13:47Speaker 2: throw throws the pole out. Okay, this will make sense later,
- 13:51Speaker 2: so he go to the frozen bait machine.
- 13:53Speaker 1: As we're walking back. My son's kind of like me rider.
- 13:56Speaker 2: He plays jokes all the time, yeah, and pranks on
- 13:59Speaker 2: everybody always. As we're walking back to the pier, it's
- 14:03Speaker 2: a long pier. As we're walking, he goes, Dad, is
- 14:06Speaker 2: that a bird hanging off our pier?
- 14:09Speaker 1: And I go what? I go, No, You're an idiot.
- 14:12Speaker 2: He's like, no, seriously, look and I'm looking as we're
- 14:15Speaker 2: walking because it's dark, we're on the ocean, and I'm like,
- 14:19Speaker 2: is that a bird? Yeah, He's like, is that herman?
- 14:24Speaker 2: Herman is hanging off of our dock. So I start running.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Even though I hate birds, I have a heart. Yeah,
- 14:33Speaker 2: Herman decided to try to take some of the shrimp
- 14:37Speaker 2: that was on the hook. No, so Herman hooked his
- 14:44Speaker 2: tongue and is now hanging off our dock. So what
- 14:50Speaker 2: do I try to do I try to save so
- 14:55Speaker 2: I start getting herman up and this bird is big,
- 14:59Speaker 2: and I hate can just shut.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Up because everybody was frozen in fear.
- 15:10Speaker 2: So I am now getting him up with the line
- 15:13Speaker 2: and he is trying to attack me at the same time,
- 15:17Speaker 2: so he is charging me with his beak and he's
- 15:21Speaker 2: like making the most If you know anything about these birds,
- 15:24Speaker 2: they don't make sounds what they and I googled it.
- 15:27Speaker 2: They make what people call it a dinosaur screech because
- 15:31Speaker 2: when they're angry, they make the most terrifying sound.
- 15:33Speaker 1: You want to hear what it sounds like.
- 15:34Speaker 5: Yeah, Jurassic Park, it does.
- 15:39Speaker 2: No, That's what I was dealing with, face to face
- 15:42Speaker 2: that sound, because I had to get up in his face.
- 15:45Speaker 1: So I'm like, well, I don't know what to do.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I've seen online people throw a towel over his head
- 15:49Speaker 2: and then they grab him and try to get the
- 15:50Speaker 2: hook out. But I don't want this bird to die.
- 15:53Speaker 2: If I cut the line, the bird's just gonna die.
- 15:55Speaker 2: He's got a hook in his tongue.
- 15:57Speaker 1: So I'm like, I.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Gotta grab by his neck, and the kids are frozen
- 16:00Speaker 2: and riders like, don't chase him. Towards me dad, because
- 16:03Speaker 2: I'm trying to grab his neck. Yeah, I grab this
- 16:06Speaker 2: bird's neck. And when I I had to touch the
- 16:11Speaker 2: I had to grab his neck because I was trying
- 16:13Speaker 2: to grab his head. He turns around and this bird.
- 16:17Speaker 2: I felt bad for the bird because he's more scared
- 16:19Speaker 2: of me. I don't know, actually his beak and then
- 16:22Speaker 2: he turns to try to bite me, rightfully so and
- 16:26Speaker 2: then he has a hook in his mouth.
- 16:27Speaker 1: So the hook gets me. So now I'm bleeding.
- 16:30Speaker 2: I'm cut, and I'm fighting with this bird trying to
- 16:32Speaker 2: save his life. And I'm like, just let me get
- 16:33Speaker 2: the hook out. So I grabbed players and I'm like,
- 16:36Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm gonna have to cut the line
- 16:38Speaker 2: and just figure it out. I don't know. I don't
- 16:40Speaker 2: know what to do. The bird's trying to bite me.
- 16:43Speaker 2: He's attacking me. He's trying to go for my eyeballs.
- 16:46Speaker 7: Where is shrimp Daddy?
- 16:50Speaker 2: And I can't deal with you if you ever say
- 16:54Speaker 2: shrimp daddy again, I'm gonna given one last try. I
- 17:03Speaker 2: take the players and with I'm like, I don't want
- 17:05Speaker 2: to rip his tongue out, and I pop it real
- 17:07Speaker 2: quick and he just goes.
- 17:11Speaker 1: And just flies away.
- 17:13Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Wow, saved his life.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I don't want to I don't want credit actually, because
- 17:19Speaker 2: I will never get close to another bird again. Yeah,
- 17:22Speaker 2: and I will never feed a bird. What I should
- 17:25Speaker 2: have said, take the shrimp off the hook, you know,
- 17:28Speaker 2: but they didn't know. That kid laid it down, and
- 17:32Speaker 2: all of a sudden, here I am face to face,
- 17:34Speaker 2: cut bleeding and almost got attacked by a heron.
- 17:38Speaker 5: It was a black heron. Yes, yeah, I bet she
- 17:41Speaker 5: was like, damn white people.
- 17:45Speaker 2: And if you ever call me shrimp daddy, damn Cannis.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Tough stories on the tents with Billy the Kid in.
- 17:52Speaker 3: The morning, only one.
- 17:56Speaker 1: We got a dirty little secret come up at seven thirty.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Get ready for that and a chance to see Harry
- 17:59Speaker 2: stop's a trip on us right afterwards at seven forty
- 18:03Speaker 2: canice what up?
- 18:03Speaker 4: Well?
- 18:04Speaker 7: Police in Solina made multiple arrests after responding to a
- 18:07Speaker 7: call about a large house party this weekend.
- 18:10Speaker 6: The police chiefs.
- 18:11Speaker 7: There said five hundred to eight hundred people came through
- 18:15Speaker 7: this party.
- 18:16Speaker 6: Can you imagine five hundred people a house party?
- 18:19Speaker 2: Yes?
- 18:19Speaker 1: What kind of house is this?
- 18:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:21Speaker 6: I have no idea.
- 18:21Speaker 7: I mean, I know houses in Solina are nice, but
- 18:24Speaker 7: whoof Yeah, two arrests were made, one for a minor
- 18:26Speaker 7: driving under the influence, another for a person who.
- 18:29Speaker 6: Had an active warrant.
- 18:31Speaker 7: Solina police are urging parents to please talk to your
- 18:34Speaker 7: kids about personal responsibility, whise decision making, and just how
- 18:38Speaker 7: dangerous environments like this can be and how quickly they
- 18:41Speaker 7: could escalate.
- 18:42Speaker 2: That's that time of the year, yes, spring, warm weather.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Seniors are about to graduate. Everybody's hime. You gotta be careful,
- 18:49Speaker 2: don't make dumb decisions.
- 18:50Speaker 7: No, And I can't even imagine having social media in
- 18:52Speaker 7: high school. Like I didn't even know about any parties
- 18:54Speaker 7: that were going on, you know, So I mean to
- 18:57Speaker 7: see social media where just like ever become one come on,
- 19:00Speaker 7: come eight hundred.
- 19:02Speaker 6: Yeah, that would have been our entire school.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Yeah, who had messenger pigeons?
- 19:07Speaker 7: Yeah, guys. Severe flooding in Hawaii has forced thousands to
- 19:11Speaker 7: evacuate On the island of O Wahoo. More than two
- 19:14Speaker 7: hundred and thirty people were rescued as heavy rain damaged
- 19:17Speaker 7: homes and roads there. But this is the worst flooding
- 19:20Speaker 7: they've seen in twenty years. The governor there says damages
- 19:23Speaker 7: could exceed one billion dollars and is describing the impact
- 19:27Speaker 7: as catastrophic. They also had to warn people about the
- 19:30Speaker 7: risk of a one hundred and twenty year old dam
- 19:33Speaker 7: failing because of these rains. Also saw you know, Jason
- 19:36Speaker 7: Momoa and his family had to evacuate their home.
- 19:39Speaker 6: And I'm sure we'll be getting more stories like this soon, guys.
- 19:42Speaker 7: There is also a new trend called speed friending. If
- 19:46Speaker 7: you guys haven't heard about this, this is basically an
- 19:49Speaker 7: event you know that's starting to pop up where it's
- 19:51Speaker 7: part speed dating, part socializing. And they're saying it's a
- 19:55Speaker 7: little bit of like a support group vibe.
- 19:58Speaker 6: So it's usually two to three dozen people.
- 20:00Speaker 7: There's an organizer who helps break the ice, and then
- 20:03Speaker 7: you rotate around the room sitting and talking to new
- 20:05Speaker 7: people over and over like you would speed dating.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie, this sounds like a nightmare.
- 20:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Do at this age we really need friends?
- 20:14Speaker 6: I know, I think we do. This expert was talking about.
- 20:17Speaker 7: It's saying that we're in a friendship recession where people
- 20:20Speaker 7: just have like less friends because of you know, put down.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Your phone and talk to people.
- 20:25Speaker 7: Yeah, exactly, that's what they say, text social media because
- 20:28Speaker 7: of you know, hybrid work schedule.
- 20:30Speaker 2: I'm not going to a friends group. That seems a
- 20:32Speaker 2: little it seems a little like I don't know. I've
- 20:35Speaker 2: never done speed dating. I would do that before I
- 20:37Speaker 2: did a friends group. Friends dating, Yeah, No, I got
- 20:41Speaker 2: enough friends. I don't talk to most of my friends.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I want to. We're busy.
- 20:44Speaker 6: I know that's the thing too.
- 20:46Speaker 7: It's like I can't take it upon myself to actually
- 20:48Speaker 7: plan events with my friends. It just takes everything I have.
- 20:52Speaker 2: That's a good challenge to do, though, because there's so
- 20:53Speaker 2: many friends I don't talk to enough. I try to say,
- 20:56Speaker 2: one time a week, I'm gonna make time to just
- 20:58Speaker 2: call somebody randomly be talked to in a long time
- 21:01Speaker 2: I consider a friend and.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Just reach out because it's important to do that.
- 21:05Speaker 7: Yeah, even if they don't answer, I feel like it's
- 21:07Speaker 7: a good thing to chase call them.
- 21:08Speaker 6: Yes, the means means one hundred. All right, I'm Cannaslowpez.
- 21:13Speaker 7: Those are your Texas Top Stories.
- 21:15Speaker 5: You ready get it off your chest to promise you'll
- 21:18Speaker 5: feel better.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Bright and early on a Monday morning. It's mixed one
- 21:23Speaker 2: on two point nine. It's gonna be nice today. That's
- 21:25Speaker 2: good news. Yeah, like eighty Sonny so not as hot
- 21:27Speaker 2: as yesterday, a little bit cool. It's still perfect though.
- 21:30Speaker 2: It's Billy the Kid, Canda Slowpez producer poo. Is here
- 21:33Speaker 2: a chance to see Harry Styles coming up next? If
- 21:35Speaker 2: you want this trip, listen. We got so many chances
- 21:38Speaker 2: to win.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Now.
- 21:39Speaker 2: If you have a secret, bring it eight three three
- 21:41Speaker 2: seven eight seven one o two nine.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I don't care what it is. It's time to confess,
- 21:45Speaker 1: and you have one.
- 21:46Speaker 4: Okay, So look, I know this is gonna sound terrible,
- 21:49Speaker 4: but you gotta.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Hear me out.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Okay, my my grandma has died three separate times. Wait what, No, no, no,
- 22:02Speaker 4: that's that's what my job thinks.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Your grandma has died three times.
- 22:08Speaker 9: Three separate times. God bless her soul.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Well, okay, explain. Yeah, I'm so sad, now go ahead.
- 22:19Speaker 9: But I mean, but but here's the thing.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Where I work, the turnover is insane. I mean I've
- 22:24Speaker 4: had at least four different bosses in the last five years. Okay,
- 22:28Speaker 4: so yeah, none of them know each other, none of
- 22:31Speaker 4: them know my family. So every once in a while,
- 22:34Speaker 4: when I really need time off, I pull out the
- 22:37Speaker 4: emergency card, and my grandma passed away.
- 22:41Speaker 2: This is so you said she's died three times and.
- 22:44Speaker 9: Every several times.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, So I mean, but like it's not
- 22:51Speaker 4: the biggest secret. A couple of my coworkers know about it,
- 22:53Speaker 4: and I mean they think it's hysterical.
- 22:55Speaker 1: They do, and they'll be like.
- 22:57Speaker 9: Yeah, and they'll be like, dang, did your grandma die ready?
- 23:00Speaker 4: I'm like, yeah, but that was under the old management. Grandma.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Oh god, I don't know how you keep a straight face.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Oh that's a that's kind of funny.
- 23:15Speaker 4: But the funniest part is my grandma is actually still
- 23:17Speaker 4: alive and she's totally fine.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Oh she is so good.
- 23:22Speaker 2: She does she know that? Oh she doesn't know she's died.
- 23:27Speaker 8: No zero.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Oh good. By the way, Grammy, you've died eight times
- 23:32Speaker 1: at my new job.
- 23:34Speaker 8: So this is where I kind of felt bad about this.
- 23:38Speaker 4: But one time, you know, I went as far as
- 23:40Speaker 4: posting a sad Facebook post with a picture of her.
- 23:43Speaker 6: So, no, do that.
- 23:47Speaker 9: I mean, I said, I felt kind of bad.
- 23:50Speaker 4: One of one of my bosses, we were friends on Facebook,
- 23:53Speaker 4: so I kind of wanted to.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, you had to go all in. Yeah, put
- 23:56Speaker 1: that ice on the cake.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Hopefully Granny's not on facebooks have a heart attack, literally
- 24:02Speaker 2: like I died.
- 24:03Speaker 4: So that's probably that's probably the most unhinged part about it.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 24:07Speaker 9: I mean I really don't feel that bad.
- 24:09Speaker 1: That is funny. Oh you don't feel bad?
- 24:11Speaker 3: No?
- 24:11Speaker 1: Why not? I mean, who cares? It's fine. It's just
- 24:13Speaker 1: a job.
- 24:14Speaker 9: This company that.
- 24:15Speaker 4: I worked for, they squeeze every ounce of work out
- 24:17Speaker 4: of their people, and you know, I mean they act
- 24:20Speaker 4: like we're all replaceable.
- 24:21Speaker 9: So yeah, I mean I try to squeeze as much
- 24:23Speaker 9: time off out of them as I can.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Yeah, why not?
- 24:25Speaker 2: I mean if Grandma's got to die again, she's got
- 24:27Speaker 2: to die.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, but the way things are going, I'm
- 24:32Speaker 4: pretty sure that they're going to fire me anyways at
- 24:33Speaker 4: some point. So if that happens, he knows, great.
- 24:36Speaker 8: She might have to die fourth time.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Yeah, get that vacation, give me that bereatment time.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Yeah you do. I mean, I I can hear the
- 24:46Speaker 1: pain in your voice, sir, Right, Yeah, what is that song?
- 24:50Speaker 2: My granny got hit by a bazooka.
- 24:54Speaker 1: We've all lied to a job before. Oh yeah, about
- 24:57Speaker 1: to take a day off, have we not? No looking
- 24:59Speaker 1: at me?
- 24:59Speaker 4: It not.
- 25:00Speaker 1: No, you've never said something that didn't happen.
- 25:03Speaker 7: Happened, No, because it's so hard to take off with
- 25:06Speaker 7: this job, like no, somebody just jump in and replace it.
- 25:08Speaker 2: And talking about the other job, not necessarily I know
- 25:11Speaker 2: who has not necessarily this job, but other jobs I have.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Back in the day, I'd never say immediate family. I
- 25:18Speaker 5: always say my cousin, oh yeah, or distant ain't who's
- 25:22Speaker 5: had a hundred cousins die?
- 25:24Speaker 1: What's going on in your family? Had a motorcycle?
- 25:27Speaker 2: But I've always lied about like you know, I mean
- 25:29Speaker 2: car issues before uber oh yeah, you know, or like
- 25:33Speaker 2: my dog got loose one time I said that. Okay,
- 25:36Speaker 2: who's gonna say, well, too bad. They're gonna be like, well,
- 25:38Speaker 2: go look for your dog. Yeah yeah, that was a
- 25:40Speaker 2: long time ago, not recent. Wow, So well, sir, Thank
- 25:44Speaker 2: you very much, and rest in peace to your grandma.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:48Speaker 4: Look, having a bad week at work. Just you know,
- 25:51Speaker 4: I lay it out, you could play it out.
- 25:53Speaker 2: I appreciate that. Thank you, Thoughts and prayers A secret
- 26:00Speaker 2: you two.
- 26:01Speaker 1: He's hearing for Candace Court.
- 26:04Speaker 3: It gets settled here with Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 26:10Speaker 2: For the Honorable Judge Canda Slopanz straight out of Mesquite,
- 26:13Speaker 2: barefoot of Town East.
- 26:15Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, I thought that heron was in here.
- 26:19Speaker 1: It creates a birth.
- 26:20Speaker 2: No, it's me, It's just me. It's mixed one or
- 26:23Speaker 2: two point nine. Good morning, Billy the Kid. Candaslopez is here. Producer,
- 26:26Speaker 2: who is here?
- 26:26Speaker 1: Judge?
- 26:27Speaker 2: Candas is here. She's got a robot. She's got our
- 26:30Speaker 2: gavel and your problems. She will solve so at Candas
- 26:33Speaker 2: on Air on Instagram. At candasan Air, you ready for
- 26:35Speaker 2: today's Candace.
- 26:35Speaker 6: I'm ready.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I don't know if you are, Okay.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I'm seven months pregnant, and of course my husband and
- 26:40Speaker 2: I are in a fight because he's an idiot and
- 26:44Speaker 2: doesn't say that this has nothing to do with the pregnancy.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Though.
- 26:47Speaker 2: We were talking about the day of the birth and
- 26:50Speaker 2: getting our plans together, and when we were talking about
- 26:53Speaker 2: the hospital plan, I told him I didn't want him
- 26:56Speaker 2: in the delivery room. Oh no, what, yeah, let me
- 27:01Speaker 2: repeat that. I told him I didn't want him in
- 27:04Speaker 2: the delivery room. Well, he went off about how this
- 27:09Speaker 2: is our first child, and he demanded to be in
- 27:11Speaker 2: the room. And I just do not want this to happen,
- 27:14Speaker 2: and I stood my ground about this, and I still
- 27:17Speaker 2: am standing my ground.
- 27:21Speaker 1: He's just whoa you ready for this?
- 27:24Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 27:24Speaker 1: He's just never seen me without makeup?
- 27:27Speaker 4: What?
- 27:28Speaker 1: And I don't think he will ever look at me
- 27:31Speaker 1: the same after this? Wait?
- 27:32Speaker 4: What?
- 27:33Speaker 6: I don't think he'll ever look at me the same
- 27:35Speaker 6: after this?
- 27:36Speaker 4: Girl?
- 27:39Speaker 2: Okay, I get that he wants to be there, and
- 27:42Speaker 2: I'll let him in the room shortly after if he
- 27:45Speaker 2: will just give me a few minutes. No, No, am
- 27:49Speaker 2: I going crazy? Or is this completely rational?
- 27:53Speaker 1: Okay? All right, I'm not a woman, Candice.
- 27:57Speaker 2: You can speak on women's behalf and you've been prayed,
- 28:00Speaker 2: you had a child, right, that's one thing. But the
- 28:03Speaker 2: other crazy part to me is you're married and he's
- 28:05Speaker 2: never seen you without makeup.
- 28:06Speaker 6: Yeah, that's wild to me.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Heard of this before, though, Yeah, I have to.
- 28:10Speaker 2: We had a girl call in for a dirty little
- 28:12Speaker 2: secret one time and she said, my husband has never
- 28:15Speaker 2: seen me without makeup ever?
- 28:17Speaker 6: Wow?
- 28:17Speaker 1: And I go how?
- 28:19Speaker 2: And I remember her saying, yeah, well, I don't know.
- 28:21Speaker 2: She's just we go to bed, or I get up
- 28:23Speaker 2: earlier than him, and I put on a little makeup
- 28:25Speaker 2: and then you know, and then I start, Wow, your
- 28:29Speaker 2: husband's gonna love you no matter what.
- 28:30Speaker 1: If he's the right one, right, if he.
- 28:32Speaker 7: Can't look at you the same after seeing you birth
- 28:35Speaker 7: his child, he needs to go first of all, because
- 28:37Speaker 7: that's I don't think that's the case. Like Also, plenty
- 28:40Speaker 7: of women have babies, you know, wearing makeup, and nothing
- 28:43Speaker 7: says you can't wear makeup. But like, I get what
- 28:46Speaker 7: you're saying. It could just happen and you just got
- 28:48Speaker 7: a jam.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I mean, you know what I mean.
- 28:52Speaker 7: Well, you might go into labor all of a sudden,
- 28:53Speaker 7: and in the middle of the night you might wake
- 28:55Speaker 7: up with the I don't know what your situation's gonna be.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I know I'm in the delivery room and I wanted
- 28:59Speaker 2: to be there, and it was a beautiful thing, and
- 29:00Speaker 2: I wouldn't look at anybody different after that.
- 29:02Speaker 1: If anything, you gain more respect and love exactly.
- 29:05Speaker 7: Like I'm sure the things Eric saw and he'll talk
- 29:07Speaker 7: about it sometimes he's just.
- 29:08Speaker 6: Like, I just didn't expect you.
- 29:10Speaker 7: Know, I won't get graphic, but blah blah blah, and
- 29:12Speaker 7: it's like, well, yeah, I mean I didn't really either,
- 29:14Speaker 7: but you know, yeah, it's part of it.
- 29:16Speaker 5: Pooh, you were in with all three all, I saw
- 29:19Speaker 5: the birth of all three of my kids, and I'm
- 29:21Speaker 5: sorry I'm gonna be in there that miculous moment.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I don't think so either, But but what do you
- 29:29Speaker 2: think should happen? You think she has the last call?
- 29:33Speaker 2: I mean it is weird too, because as a man,
- 29:35Speaker 2: I don't feel like I can dictate what.
- 29:38Speaker 1: She wants, right.
- 29:39Speaker 6: I mean I really can't.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I really can't, even though it's my child as well.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I feel like if she wants me out, I'm probably
- 29:46Speaker 2: gonna stay out right.
- 29:47Speaker 7: The last thing you want to do is stress out
- 29:49Speaker 7: the mom You know, what do you do?
- 29:51Speaker 2: You're gonna go in there anyway, We're gonna be arguing.
- 29:53Speaker 2: I mean, we're not going to agree with it, but
- 29:55Speaker 2: I don't want to stress her out right.
- 29:57Speaker 6: And then cause a scene in the hospital. What are
- 29:59Speaker 6: you gonna do?
- 29:59Speaker 10: Maybe just get a tripod with the phone so I
- 30:03Speaker 10: got a face to the birth of my first board.
- 30:06Speaker 10: I know, I get it, But what do you do
- 30:08Speaker 10: at this point? Either way?
- 30:10Speaker 2: I think this is probably not the only time this
- 30:13Speaker 2: has happened though. And ladies, you call me if you
- 30:15Speaker 2: didn't want your man in there.
- 30:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I'd be curious to know why let.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Us know why. And if your man's never seen without makeup,
- 30:21Speaker 1: I want to hear that too.
- 30:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:23Speaker 2: But if your man loves you, trust me, ladies, he
- 30:25Speaker 2: is never going to look.
- 30:26Speaker 1: At you differently.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Right.
- 30:27Speaker 7: That's the most beautiful moment of him respecting you and
- 30:30Speaker 7: understanding your entire womanhood.
- 30:32Speaker 2: And being there for you and enjoying the most special
- 30:35Speaker 2: thing on earth, making your hand, telling you push you.
- 30:39Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, trust me, you're not gonna be worried
- 30:41Speaker 7: about your face.
- 30:42Speaker 1: No, no, no, But it's not our courtroom. It's not
- 30:46Speaker 1: a verdict, it's your verdict.
- 30:48Speaker 2: What is it?
- 30:48Speaker 7: I just don't like this. This lady is guilty of
- 30:51Speaker 7: being a neutrogena. Natalie, who get the makeup wives? Take
- 30:56Speaker 7: it off, start practicing. Now, let him see you a
- 30:59Speaker 7: little bit without Jamaica beautiful. You don't need it, your mother,
- 31:05Speaker 7: and that's the most beautiful thing there is, your child
- 31:08Speaker 7: in peace.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I can't deal with the nutrigena. I just can't deal
- 31:13Speaker 1: well with the.
- 31:13Speaker 6: Blue makeup wipes.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Just take it on a Monday.
- 31:16Speaker 2: I can't deal with that.
- 31:19Speaker 1: She is guilty of being a nutrigena.
- 31:21Speaker 5: Natalie tough stories on the tents with Billy's kid in the.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Morning only on the new mixed one two.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Point nine and a chance to see Harry Styles coming
- 31:31Speaker 2: up to eight forty. Get ready for that, a trip

- 31:42Speaker 3: Well?
- 31:42Speaker 7: New York Sleagordia at Airport is closed this morning after
- 31:45Speaker 7: a deadly collision there on the runway.
- 31:47Speaker 6: So an Air.
- 31:48Speaker 7: Canada flight and a Port Authority fire truck collided just
- 31:51Speaker 7: before midnight, killing a pilot and co pilot and injuring
- 31:55Speaker 7: dozens of others. Forty one people were taken to the hospital.
- 31:58Speaker 7: I guess that plane had about seventy six passengers on board.
- 32:02Speaker 7: It was landing at the time when this fire truck
- 32:05Speaker 7: was crossing that active runway responding to a separate incident.
- 32:09Speaker 7: That flight was coming in from Montreal. But the reports
- 32:12Speaker 7: are saying it was foggy at the time, but you
- 32:14Speaker 7: can see in the videos passengers took there was severe
- 32:17Speaker 7: damage to that nose of the plane and investigation is underway.
- 32:21Speaker 7: That airport is gonna stay closed until about one pm today,
- 32:25Speaker 7: but that's caused hundreds of flights to be canceled, So
- 32:28Speaker 7: if you are traveling today, definitely check check your status.
- 32:31Speaker 2: That's always one of my biggest fears too. Yeah, and
- 32:33Speaker 2: one time, I think, who was on this flight with me?
- 32:36Speaker 2: The scariest thing that's ever happened to me on a flight.
- 32:38Speaker 2: We're about to take off and it was front I
- 32:40Speaker 2: think it was Frontier, okay, And as we're taking off
- 32:44Speaker 2: the we're up in the air and the plane slams
- 32:47Speaker 2: back to the ground. Oh yeah, and screeches to a
- 32:51Speaker 2: halt like we barely had in a frontway. We were
- 32:53Speaker 2: up in there and slam back down the ground and
- 32:55Speaker 2: the pilot gets on all chill and everybody's on the
- 32:58Speaker 2: freaking out. Yeah. Sorry, you know how they do right?
- 33:04Speaker 2: Sorry about that. It seems like we had a door
- 33:07Speaker 2: a jar. Yeah, And I'm like, I wanted to get
- 33:11Speaker 2: them and go, excuse me, there's some multi million of
- 33:14Speaker 2: a plant.
- 33:15Speaker 1: My car has a door a jar button something to
- 33:18Speaker 1: go think, right, seems like we had a door trip.
- 33:21Speaker 1: We're gonna circle around and take it off.
- 33:23Speaker 6: There's gotta be a light buzzer alarms.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Can we figure something out?
- 33:28Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 33:28Speaker 2: For real, I'm like I need two Jack and Cokes immediately.
- 33:32Speaker 6: Amen.
- 33:33Speaker 7: Well, guys, weather looks pretty good for.
- 33:35Speaker 6: Your work week.
- 33:36Speaker 7: We did have a cold front come through last night,
- 33:38Speaker 7: so it's gonna be closer to normal today. Unlike yesterday.
- 33:41Speaker 7: We broke a record at ninety five degrees, but we
- 33:44Speaker 7: should get up to around eighty today. We'll warm up
- 33:46Speaker 7: midweek and then cool down for the weekend. It's sixty
- 33:49Speaker 7: one right now. And let's talk about this bodycam footage
- 33:53Speaker 7: that's gone viral from justin Timberlakes.
- 33:55Speaker 6: Do you I arrest?
- 33:56Speaker 7: They were talking about this recently because you know, his
- 33:59Speaker 7: team was trying to keep this thing from getting out there,
- 34:01Speaker 7: but they ended up releasing nineteen minutes of unedited video.
- 34:07Speaker 7: You see him take his field sobriety test, You see
- 34:09Speaker 7: him get booked. They even showed him, you know, where
- 34:11Speaker 7: he was going to be held for the night.
- 34:13Speaker 6: You didn't think it was as bad as you thought
- 34:15Speaker 6: it would be.
- 34:16Speaker 1: I thought it was going to be really bad.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I thought it was going to be him dropping his
- 34:19Speaker 2: name and going, you can't arrest me, I'm just in Timberlake.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Yeah, And it wasn't that though. It wasn't.
- 34:24Speaker 2: I mean, he did say who he was, but that
- 34:26Speaker 2: was only after the cop kept asking him what he
- 34:29Speaker 2: was doing there, and he was like, I'm just visiting
- 34:30Speaker 2: him a couple of days.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I'm on a world tour.
- 34:32Speaker 5: Right.
- 34:32Speaker 1: The cop could not figure out what that meant.
- 34:34Speaker 6: Right, he says, it's hard to explain. Justin said, it's
- 34:37Speaker 6: really not.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Ali had to say was I'm a singer.
- 34:40Speaker 2: But I think he expected the cop to know, which
- 34:42Speaker 2: he is one of the biggest superstars on the planet.
- 34:44Speaker 1: I get it.
- 34:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:45Speaker 2: But finally he's like a world tour and the guy's like,
- 34:47Speaker 2: what do you mean a world tour? And he's like,
- 34:49Speaker 2: I'm just in Timberlake. Oh h oh, You're just you
- 34:53Speaker 2: Do you have ID?
- 34:55Speaker 8: Yes?
- 34:55Speaker 4: I do.
- 34:56Speaker 1: But he failed that those sobriety tests miserable, Yeah.
- 35:00Speaker 6: Was pretty bad. I mean you could see him, you know.
- 35:03Speaker 7: Saying, these tests are really hard, guys, my heart is racing.
- 35:07Speaker 6: And then the woman who was in the car.
- 35:09Speaker 7: With him st Stanley, she's, I guess an interior designer,
- 35:12Speaker 7: but she was really the one that was throwing his
- 35:14Speaker 7: name around, like, are you serious You're really gonna rest
- 35:16Speaker 7: justin Timberlake? Can you please do me a favor, Just
- 35:19Speaker 7: do me a favor you guys like bye bye bye,
- 35:21Speaker 7: you like sexy back.
- 35:23Speaker 2: You know she didn't help. Yeah, I mean they were
- 35:25Speaker 2: doing their job. No, for sure, you can't blame them
- 35:27Speaker 2: for that. I appreciate the fact that, I mean he
- 35:29Speaker 2: was not okay to drive. You can't let that guy go,
- 35:32Speaker 2: oh for sure.
- 35:32Speaker 1: And you can't do that no matter who you are.
- 35:34Speaker 2: So thankfully everything was okay, but he was he went
- 35:37Speaker 2: and stride with it. I thought he was really respectful, right.
- 35:40Speaker 2: He wasn't like being a jerk about it. He was
- 35:42Speaker 2: kind of making jokes and having fun. But if I'm
- 35:45Speaker 2: Jessica Biel, I'm like, who were you with?
- 35:47Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 35:48Speaker 4: Wow?
- 35:48Speaker 2: And why were you with her in the car interior?
- 35:51Speaker 1: Designing the car?
- 35:52Speaker 2: Yea?
- 35:52Speaker 1: Or were you designing am That's the story I.
- 35:57Speaker 6: Want for sure, But I feel like there was nothing.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Really there cannot be serious.
- 36:01Speaker 7: But yeah, no, but haven't you just been out before?
- 36:03Speaker 7: And then you're like, hey, I'm with some random like friends.
- 36:07Speaker 1: As a married man.
- 36:09Speaker 7: Everyone knows this woman, like she's friends with a lot
- 36:11Speaker 7: of people, and you I just don't.
- 36:15Speaker 6: Know the full story.
- 36:15Speaker 5: If I got Jessica Biel at home, if I ain't
- 36:18Speaker 5: with her, I with nobody.
- 36:19Speaker 1: If I got Jessica Biel at home, I'm.
- 36:23Speaker 6: Yeah, so quick, sober, right, you will be from now on.
- 36:29Speaker 2: I feel like, well, yeah, the point is, I don't
- 36:32Speaker 2: care who it is at two am. It doesn't look
- 36:35Speaker 2: good that Justin Timber is leaving with any woman. Yeah,
- 36:38Speaker 2: and in the car with a woman. You don't even
- 36:39Speaker 2: want to set yourself up, like if I know if
- 36:42Speaker 2: I'm married, I'm in a relationship.
- 36:44Speaker 1: We're not.
- 36:44Speaker 7: No, but if that was happening, they would already be divorced.
- 36:47Speaker 7: We had already heard about them splitting up.
- 36:50Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Strategic, Yeah, you're right, what is she designing at two am?
- 36:55Speaker 6: I don't know where.
- 36:56Speaker 7: I don't know why they were both in sag Harbor anyway,
- 37:00Speaker 7: I'm Cana Slopez.
- 37:01Speaker 6: Those are your Texas top stories at take.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Let us know what you think.
- 37:05Speaker 6: Here's today's hotake.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Okay, let's talk about this hotake because I gotta know
- 37:08Speaker 2: if it's true, because this woman went on and she
- 37:11Speaker 2: went viral talking about this and she thinks and she
- 37:13Speaker 2: says that every woman has a Jim crush, amrush.
- 37:19Speaker 1: A Jim crush.
- 37:21Speaker 2: And I was like, really, she said, yeah, Okay, every
- 37:24Speaker 2: woman who goes to the gym, if they go consistently,
- 37:28Speaker 2: they have a gym crush. And I gotta know if
- 37:30Speaker 2: this is true or not. I gotta know, canis is
- 37:32Speaker 2: it true? You're speaking for all women right now?
- 37:35Speaker 6: The way all women have a gym crush.
- 37:37Speaker 1: I believe this, you do. I kind of believe it.
- 37:40Speaker 1: I do.
- 37:40Speaker 2: I do, and not only I think it's not only
- 37:42Speaker 2: true for just women. I think it's true for men
- 37:45Speaker 2: as well. And reading the comments, I was hoping. But
- 37:47Speaker 2: sometimes I'll do this. I'll go to the comments and
- 37:49Speaker 2: immediately like, okay, bring bring hope back into my life
- 37:52Speaker 2: and let me see this is just not true. And
- 37:55Speaker 2: I say, why I want it to be not true
- 37:57Speaker 2: is because I think that Jim's are the new like
- 38:01Speaker 2: bars when it.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Comes to cheating.
- 38:02Speaker 6: Really, I haven't been to like a public gym in
- 38:05Speaker 6: so long. I don't even know what the vibe is anymore.
- 38:07Speaker 7: But is that like you see somebody walk in or
- 38:09Speaker 7: out just in slow motion?
- 38:11Speaker 6: Is it like, like what are we talking gym?
- 38:13Speaker 1: I think so.
- 38:13Speaker 2: I think a lot of people, especially the younger people,
- 38:16Speaker 2: are They don't really go out drinking and going to
- 38:18Speaker 2: the bars and stuff.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I know so many people who have had.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Affairs and relationships out upside of theirs. Wow, or have
- 38:28Speaker 2: gotten cheated on at the gym by their husbands.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Oh, multiple people.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Oh, I know people who have one girl I know,
- 38:36Speaker 2: and I'm not going to say the gym she goes to.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's a scanless gym.
- 38:41Speaker 2: It's a gym where I feel like every time I
- 38:43Speaker 2: hear about drama or cheating, it's involved. Oh yes, one particular.
- 38:48Speaker 6: You're not going to tell us.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I can't say it because I don't want to. You know,
- 38:51Speaker 2: it's just it's a very popular gym, and yeah, I can't.
- 38:57Speaker 1: If you say it, I'm.
- 38:58Speaker 7: Maybe okay, maybe it's just like the rush of endorphins
- 39:01Speaker 7: like runners high, and you're just like thinking, like, well,
- 39:04Speaker 7: I for sure have one thing in.
- 39:05Speaker 6: Common with this person. We both like to work out.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I think that's a good point. Let me read you
- 39:09Speaker 1: some of the comments.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Okay, this person says jim crushes are important for motivations,
- 39:14Speaker 2: so I've got a backup Jim crush in case the
- 39:16Speaker 2: main gym crush isn't there.
- 39:17Speaker 7: Oh wow, Okay, I can see where that would motivate you.
- 39:20Speaker 7: If you're like yeah, I might see him there.
- 39:23Speaker 6: Really.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like this.
- 39:25Speaker 4: I don't.
- 39:25Speaker 2: You shouldn't if you're in a relationship, you shouldn't be
- 39:27Speaker 2: crushing on anybody.
- 39:28Speaker 6: Well, no, you shouldn't be.
- 39:29Speaker 1: But I don't think so. I think it's that's close
- 39:32Speaker 1: to cheating for single people.
- 39:33Speaker 6: I feel like that makes sense. But no, it's been
- 39:35Speaker 6: married and you're in the gym. What are you doing?
- 39:37Speaker 2: But this is what I'm talking about, because some people
- 39:39Speaker 2: in the comments are like, oh, yes, this is absolutely true.
- 39:41Speaker 1: I have a work husband and a jim husband.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Oh oh wow.
- 39:44Speaker 6: They took it to a husband level.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't care if you're single do whatever. I'm
- 39:47Speaker 2: talking about. Relationships. Yeah, if you're in a relationship and
- 39:50Speaker 2: you like, people will talk about hall passes. Oh, he's
- 39:52Speaker 2: my hall path. It gets me so mad if I'm
- 39:55Speaker 2: in a relationship.
- 39:56Speaker 7: No, how many Hall passes actually get used.
- 40:00Speaker 2: But like, I've met my hall pass like if we
- 40:02Speaker 2: had you know what I'm saying, Like in our situation,
- 40:05Speaker 2: we meet celebrities. Yeah, there's times like I've been in
- 40:08Speaker 2: a relationship. Oh yeah, oh my god, I have a
- 40:10Speaker 2: celebrity crush. I always say, have a celebrity crush on
- 40:12Speaker 2: Ella Langley right if I was in a relationship right now,
- 40:15Speaker 2: I wouldn't be talking about that because I've met Ella.
- 40:18Speaker 1: It's weird.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Not that I've ever a chance with her, not saying that,
- 40:21Speaker 2: I'm just saying it's weird because then if I have
- 40:23Speaker 2: to go to an interview or go meet up, then
- 40:25Speaker 2: it's like, oh, well, now you're going to meet up
- 40:27Speaker 2: with your hall pass.
- 40:28Speaker 1: So I don't do that kind of stuff.
- 40:30Speaker 8: It's weird.
- 40:31Speaker 2: But some of the comments here is I had a
- 40:33Speaker 2: gym crush for four years, don't know her name, and
- 40:35Speaker 2: I think.
- 40:35Speaker 1: It's safer that way. Whoa like this is not just men.
- 40:39Speaker 2: These are men in here's a woman who says, oh,
- 40:41Speaker 2: I have one and we're going on three years strong now,
- 40:44Speaker 2: and he has no idea.
- 40:45Speaker 1: I'm telling you.
- 40:46Speaker 5: The girl I used to date, I know she had
- 40:48Speaker 5: one because her and her friend Rachel used to go
- 40:50Speaker 5: to this spin class and I was taught by this
- 40:53Speaker 5: dude named Pierre.
- 40:54Speaker 1: First of all, how's your name Pierre? In Texas? You
- 40:57Speaker 1: ain't even from France?
- 40:59Speaker 4: The name is?
- 41:00Speaker 5: And I saw the dude, I was like, Oh that's
- 41:02Speaker 5: why y'all wake up?
- 41:03Speaker 1: Was looking guy shorts. He was he was cool. Can
- 41:08Speaker 1: just say shorts if.
- 41:11Speaker 6: He was a spin teacher?
- 41:12Speaker 1: He was a teacher?
- 41:13Speaker 5: Oh yeah yeah, no no shirt, no shirts spanned eggs.
- 41:18Speaker 9: Sure.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Was she going on the bear or the gym? I
- 41:20Speaker 1: don't know, but they were all on pelotons. So she
- 41:22Speaker 1: would tell you. She's like, I'm going to spin class
- 41:25Speaker 1: and I was like, wow, are you hype?
- 41:26Speaker 5: And I was like, okay, she's staying in shape. And
- 41:29Speaker 5: then her friend was like, girl, we're going to spining class. Yes,
- 41:32Speaker 5: I got to see Pierre and they went twice in
- 41:35Speaker 5: one day.
- 41:37Speaker 1: What twice? Twice?
- 41:40Speaker 6: Spin class? Something's way?
- 41:42Speaker 1: They did?
- 41:42Speaker 10: They did?
- 41:43Speaker 1: And why did she break up at the beginning because
- 41:45Speaker 1: she needed space? Yeah? I know why she needed Pierre.
- 41:48Speaker 5: Yes, she spend doing the spin cycle with Pierre really
- 41:54Speaker 5: and your.
- 41:54Speaker 2: Boy hanging Yeah, And she would tell you straight up.
- 41:57Speaker 1: She just say I'm going to spin class and she
- 41:59Speaker 1: had a crush on here. That's gross.
- 42:01Speaker 4: I knew.
- 42:01Speaker 5: I knew she did because her friend was hype.
- 42:04Speaker 7: I'm like just having fun. If they were both hype
- 42:07Speaker 7: about it, like one of them.
- 42:09Speaker 6: Is like, oh yeah, we gotta go.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Is fun?
- 42:12Speaker 5: Can as her friend was bigger than me and she
- 42:14Speaker 5: was hype going to smith Us, So I know the

- 42:54Speaker 1: I go cycle with your man.
- 42:56Speaker 6: Yeah, well he should come to Pierre.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Got his shirt off all over spinning all over my girl.
- 43:01Speaker 5: I'm here to snatch your soul on soul cycle, No
- 43:04Speaker 5: soul cycled.
- 43:05Speaker 1: I think we're soul mates.
- 43:08Speaker 7: That's what I don't like this times you can do
- 43:11Speaker 7: it at home and watcher.
- 43:13Speaker 6: On the screen.
- 43:16Speaker 1: I felt bad.
- 43:17Speaker 2: This bird got hooked in the mouth with a fishing
- 43:19Speaker 2: line a hook, and it was a heron and he
- 43:21Speaker 2: tried to eat the shrimp that was on the hook
- 43:23Speaker 2: and take off and it was the worst thing ever.
- 43:26Speaker 2: And you know I hate birds, and I had to
- 43:27Speaker 2: pretty much fight this bird to get the hook out
- 43:29Speaker 2: of its mouth. Yeah, and he was trying to poke
- 43:32Speaker 2: my eyes out. It was the craziest scene ever. We
- 43:35Speaker 2: were frozen in fear, all of us.
- 43:37Speaker 6: I thought you were just being dramatic. Yeah, that's hard
- 43:39Speaker 6: because you feel for the guy.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Right, No, I was trying to save him, and because
- 43:42Speaker 2: I have a heart, even though I hate birds for
- 43:44Speaker 2: the most part.
- 43:45Speaker 1: I hate birds, yeah, because they're just stupid.
- 43:47Speaker 6: Oh do you want to see him suffer?
- 43:49Speaker 8: No?
- 43:49Speaker 2: I don't want to see anything suffer. So I finally
- 43:51Speaker 2: got the hook out. But I mean he tried. He
- 43:53Speaker 2: bit me, He was poking me with his beak, He
- 43:57Speaker 2: tried to get my eye. If I would have lost
- 43:58Speaker 2: an eye because of a bird, tax man Fettie wopund
- 44:04Speaker 2: with one eye, You can't go.
- 44:05Speaker 1: To work like that? Oh no, who would have made
- 44:07Speaker 1: fun of years?
- 44:09Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 44:10Speaker 1: I can't deal with it so either way.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Oh God, But it's just that when you see an
- 44:15Speaker 2: animal like that, you got to help, Yeah, even though
- 44:17Speaker 2: you're terrified.
- 44:18Speaker 6: So what I would do? Honestly?
- 44:19Speaker 2: Oh, it was so scary and he was I mean
- 44:21Speaker 2: the sound that that bird makes is terrifying. They call
- 44:26Speaker 2: it a dinosaur screech. No, listen to this. I mean
- 44:31Speaker 2: it's the worst sound you've ever heard in your life. God, yeah,
- 44:36Speaker 2: that's what I get. Yeah, it was poena shrimp.
- 44:38Speaker 1: We're friends.
- 44:38Speaker 2: All of a sudden, I walk away for two seconds.
- 44:41Speaker 2: He's hooked in the mouth and can't just called me
- 44:44Speaker 2: shrimp daddy.
- 44:46Speaker 7: Trying to make friends with him, and then he went
- 44:48Speaker 7: after your shrimp and hooked himself.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Shrimp daddy.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Oh, I meant to ask you, Enzo, your son is
- 44:55Speaker 2: a big day today.
- 44:56Speaker 7: Yeah. They actually just took off from DFW Airport for
- 44:59Speaker 7: a car Colorado because my husband was already just about
- 45:03Speaker 7: to book this car commercial right in Colorado on Friday
- 45:07Speaker 7: and found out they were also casting a family right
- 45:10Speaker 7: for this commercial, and so submitted Enzo as well, And
- 45:14Speaker 7: they both booked this commercial Friday late in the day.
- 45:17Speaker 6: So they're both off to Colorado for the week in
- 45:20Speaker 6: the mountains.
- 45:21Speaker 7: I know it's I'm like so sad that I'm not
- 45:23Speaker 7: gonna be able to see his first on camera job.
- 45:26Speaker 1: We know what commercial it is, or I do.
- 45:28Speaker 7: I don't know if I can say, I don't know
- 45:29Speaker 7: why that would be weird, but it's a car commercial
- 45:31Speaker 7: because you know, he's also, yeah, a precision driver, so
- 45:35Speaker 7: he gets hired for commercials because he can, you know,
- 45:37Speaker 7: drive how they want and do stunts and things.
- 45:40Speaker 6: Yeah, well you should be a precision driver. I'm a
- 45:43Speaker 6: great driver television.
- 45:45Speaker 5: If it's a road rage commercial, yeah, exactly.
- 45:50Speaker 7: So, yeah, they're going out there today. They do wardrobe
- 45:53Speaker 7: piddings and then start filming on tomorrow.
- 45:55Speaker 1: So he's off for another week of school.
- 45:57Speaker 7: Yes, they were on spring break last week, and we
- 45:58Speaker 7: just kind of did.
- 45:59Speaker 6: Local stuf, if you know. We went go karting and
- 46:02Speaker 6: my mom and I went to Chalk Taw.
- 46:03Speaker 7: We just did things around here and now yeah, yeah,
- 46:06Speaker 7: she hit me up and wanted to go for Saint
- 46:08Speaker 7: Patrick's Day and I was like, yeah, Mom, let's do
- 46:10Speaker 7: it because I missed taking her for her birthday last
- 46:12Speaker 7: year because we were at Ay.
- 46:14Speaker 6: We had so much fun.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Yeah, she would millionaire you're here, so I.
- 46:19Speaker 6: Love my job. But still if I had a million
- 46:21Speaker 6: at Chalk, I still come.
- 46:23Speaker 2: You know who didn't have a good weekend though? He
- 46:25Speaker 2: had to go the doctor to kick off his weekend.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Yeah right here. I had to get that man check up.
- 46:30Speaker 8: Good.
- 46:31Speaker 6: I'm glad you did.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Can you stop calling it that, well, you stop calling
- 46:35Speaker 1: it a man check up?
- 46:37Speaker 6: The well woman check up, well man check up?
- 46:40Speaker 1: You say, well man check up? Like, what did you
- 46:42Speaker 1: have to get done?
- 46:43Speaker 5: I mean just a physical, let's just say that, you know,
- 46:46Speaker 5: I at that certain age, I just got to make
- 46:48Speaker 5: sure everything's okay.
- 46:49Speaker 2: So prostate, Well, yeah good, I'm glad.
- 46:55Speaker 1: You yeah, yeah, hell yeah.
- 46:59Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 47:00Speaker 5: The doctor though, yeah, I think he played baseball back
- 47:05Speaker 5: in the day. But dude, you know what really embarrassed me.
- 47:11Speaker 5: I had to get these shots. Yeah. You know in
- 47:15Speaker 5: my notes it says prefers the right you know, the
- 47:18Speaker 5: right hip. Oh yeah, yeah whatever, but yeah yeah, and
- 47:21Speaker 5: the girls she was like, okay, well I got to
- 47:23Speaker 5: give you the shingles shot and flew and all these
- 47:27Speaker 5: other shots.
- 47:28Speaker 1: I was like okay.
- 47:29Speaker 5: So they did like three in my arm and she
- 47:31Speaker 5: was like, okay, can you pull down your pants?
- 47:32Speaker 1: And I pulled down.
- 47:33Speaker 5: She was like hold on, hold on, she goes, oh.
- 47:36Speaker 5: She called for a backup, you know, because it has
- 47:42Speaker 5: to be two people in there. When I, you know,
- 47:44Speaker 5: undress or whatever. The other girl came in. Both of
- 47:47Speaker 5: them just died laughing because I still got the dancing glitzy.
- 47:52Speaker 2: It's not going away. I forgot about that. This is
- 47:56Speaker 2: the first time you had to get a shot in
- 47:57Speaker 2: your bot. And they saw you have a tattoo. People
- 48:00Speaker 2: don't know you have a tattoo that you got on
- 48:02Speaker 2: the air.
- 48:02Speaker 5: Yeah, because I lost a bet to you of a
- 48:04Speaker 5: dancing glensie a hot dog.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:06Speaker 5: And they saw it, and they saw it in all
- 48:09Speaker 5: its glory.
- 48:11Speaker 1: And they laughed for about a good five minutes.
- 48:13Speaker 5: And can we do make it so long to rub
- 48:17Speaker 5: that little alcohol in there?
- 48:18Speaker 1: Just get it over?
- 48:19Speaker 2: Can we just take a second and send some thoughts
- 48:21Speaker 2: and prayers to the nurses we had to look at that.
- 48:25Speaker 1: I mean, you want to talk about.
- 48:28Speaker 5: Those poor nurses. Yeah, Miss Lindsay and Miss Cheryl. I
- 48:32Speaker 5: know y'all listen they listen, Oh they do, yeah, Oh listen.
- 48:36Speaker 5: Well tell us how I ow it looked? Seven eight, seven,
- 48:39Speaker 5: one two nine. You won't show it to us.

- 48:44Speaker 3: In the morning only on the New Mixed one or
- 48:47Speaker 3: two point nine.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Have a chance to see Harry Styles coming up.
- 48:50Speaker 1: So many chances to win all day trip on us.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Go check them out.
- 48:53Speaker 2: We got your flight, we got your hotel on the
- 48:55Speaker 2: forties every hour all day long, So another chance coming
- 48:58Speaker 2: up if you can make it through. I'm thank god
- 48:59Speaker 2: you're on this studio so you can't.
- 49:01Speaker 6: Try to eat outside.
- 49:02Speaker 1: I can barely talk right now.
- 49:04Speaker 7: As soon as we're done with this, I'm going to
- 49:05Speaker 7: open the door.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Oh because Cannis eats her eggs every morning, which is great.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Normally they don't eggs. I don't know if these are
- 49:12Speaker 2: normally are these special eggs?
- 49:14Speaker 7: I don't they're blue eggs, yeah, because the only eat
- 49:16Speaker 7: the blue eggs.
- 49:17Speaker 1: What do you mean blue eggs?
- 49:18Speaker 6: Well, they're like blue, the shells are blue.
- 49:21Speaker 7: What Yeah, where do we get He thinks they're different
- 49:23Speaker 7: inside because they're blue on the outside, So we buy it.
- 49:26Speaker 2: What they stink? These are extra organic or something? I know?
- 49:32Speaker 6: Sorry, No, it's funds. I guess.
- 49:34Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess. So what's going on, guys?
- 49:37Speaker 7: Police and Solana made multiple arrests after responding to a
- 49:41Speaker 7: call about a house party over the weekend. The police
- 49:43Speaker 7: chief there said somewhere between five hundred and eight hundred
- 49:47Speaker 7: people came.
- 49:48Speaker 6: Through this party.
- 49:49Speaker 7: Two arrests were made, one for a minor driving under
- 49:52Speaker 7: the influence, and another person I guess already had an
- 49:54Speaker 7: active warrant for aggravated assault.
- 49:57Speaker 6: Yeah, they said.
- 49:58Speaker 7: Reports were that guns were fired as people were leaving
- 50:01Speaker 7: this house party. No injuries were found though, but Salida
- 50:04Speaker 7: police are urging parents to talk to their kids about
- 50:07Speaker 7: personal responsibility, wise decision making and just really how dangerous
- 50:11Speaker 7: some of these giant house parties and environments like this
- 50:14Speaker 7: can get and how things can escalate so fast.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Yeah, this party pretty much went viral unlock. I mean
- 50:19Speaker 2: some of the pictures and videos. How are eight hundred
- 50:21Speaker 2: people at a house party? Right?
- 50:23Speaker 1: And all you police have to do is just bring canvas'
- 50:25Speaker 1: eggs house situation. Yeah, come me, guys, bring the booty
- 50:31Speaker 1: blue eggs.
- 50:32Speaker 6: I'm on standby with my blue eggs.
- 50:34Speaker 1: That cle so quick anyway, You're.
- 50:37Speaker 6: So right, guys.
- 50:38Speaker 7: Severe flooding in Hawaii has four thousands to evacuate. On
- 50:41Speaker 7: the island of o Wahuo, more than two hundred and
- 50:44Speaker 7: thirty people were rescued as heavy rain damaged homes and roads.
- 50:47Speaker 7: But they're saying this is the worst flooding they've had
- 50:50Speaker 7: in twenty years. The governor there says damages could exceed
- 50:53Speaker 7: one billion dollars. It is, describing the impact as catastrophic.
- 50:58Speaker 7: They also, I guess, had to warn people there's a
- 51:00Speaker 7: damn there that's been up for one hundred and twenty years.
- 51:02Speaker 7: They said, you know, this damn is at risk of
- 51:04Speaker 7: failure because of these storms.
- 51:07Speaker 6: So just really thinking about everyone.
- 51:08Speaker 7: They're those pictures from O Wah Oh, I'd love a
- 51:11Speaker 7: wah who so much.
- 51:12Speaker 1: I always wanted to go. I've never been.
- 51:13Speaker 6: Oh you gotta go.
- 51:15Speaker 7: But yeah, people evacuating. I know Jason Momoa and his
- 51:17Speaker 7: family just were reporting that they had to evacuate their home.
- 51:21Speaker 7: But yeah, it's going to be a while for recovery
- 51:23Speaker 7: efforts and clean up there. Yeah, there's a new trend
- 51:27Speaker 7: you should know about, guys. It's called speed friending. So
- 51:30Speaker 7: these events are starting.
- 51:31Speaker 6: To pop up.
- 51:33Speaker 7: This is basically like speed dating, but for friendships. So
- 51:37Speaker 7: part of it is socializing. Part of it is you know,
- 51:39Speaker 7: like a support group, but usually it's like two to
- 51:41Speaker 7: three dozen people.
- 51:43Speaker 6: They'll break the ice and then you know you just
- 51:45Speaker 6: sit and talk with someone and rotate and talk to
- 51:47Speaker 6: someone else.
- 51:47Speaker 1: So who's doing this right?
- 51:49Speaker 2: I mean, I just can't imagine as a grown up
- 51:51Speaker 2: I mean, I'm busy, you're missing. Everyone's so busy. Who
- 51:54Speaker 2: has time to just go to a friend's deity?
- 51:57Speaker 1: Aa?
- 51:57Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't have time for the friends I do
- 51:59Speaker 7: have much and make new friends. But there's an expert
- 52:02Speaker 7: talking about it, and they're saying that we're in a
- 52:04Speaker 7: friendship or recession where people just have less friends and
- 52:09Speaker 7: that's you know social media tag.
- 52:11Speaker 1: I no, I think you're exactly right.
- 52:14Speaker 2: That's what we need to do, is we just put
- 52:15Speaker 2: our phones down and talk in real life. Yeah that
- 52:19Speaker 2: sounds so they're.
- 52:21Speaker 7: Saying it's a lot like the dating scene. Everyone's talking
- 52:23Speaker 7: about how the dating scene has changed so much. Well
- 52:26Speaker 7: apparently it's the same for just friendship.
- 52:28Speaker 2: Really, but who needs this sounds so bad? Maybe I'm
- 52:31Speaker 2: just an awful person who needs new friends.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Yeah, just be happy with the ones you got.
- 52:36Speaker 2: I mean really though, Yeah, you're grown up, your friends
- 52:38Speaker 2: start to dwindle down and count your real friends like
- 52:41Speaker 2: one hand, And it's just because people get busy, people
- 52:45Speaker 2: grow apart, and it's I've tried to make it a
- 52:47Speaker 2: point though the last few months, to once a week
- 52:50Speaker 2: find a friend that I don't normally speak to that
- 52:53Speaker 2: I want to talk to and just reach out. Yeah,
- 52:56Speaker 2: you should just reach out to them. And because life
- 52:59Speaker 2: is short, you never know what's gonna happen.
- 53:00Speaker 7: No, for sure, for sure, call your friends, guys. I'm
- 53:03Speaker 7: Canda Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 53:05Speaker 6: Get it off your jos to promise you'll feel better.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Little Secret. It makes one on two
- 53:12Speaker 1: point nine.
- 53:12Speaker 2: Good morning, Bailey the Kid, Candae Lompez, producer Pooh is
- 53:15Speaker 2: here and a chance to see Harry Styles coming up
- 53:17Speaker 2: next after Dirty Little Secret, a trip on us.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Make that happen.
- 53:21Speaker 2: Okay, Now, if you have a secret eight three three
- 53:23Speaker 2: seven eight seven one two nine, okay, confess, I don't
- 53:26Speaker 2: care what it is. Just get it off your chest,
- 53:28Speaker 2: big secret, little secret, it doesn't matter.
- 53:30Speaker 1: Okay. It's a no judgment zone and you got one.
- 53:33Speaker 1: What's up?
- 53:33Speaker 9: Okay?
- 53:34Speaker 4: So look, I know this is gonna sound terrible, but
- 53:37Speaker 4: you gotta hear me out. Okay, My my grandma has
- 53:41Speaker 4: died three separate times.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Wait what what?
- 53:48Speaker 6: No, No, what does that mean?
- 53:49Speaker 9: That's what my job thinks.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Your your grandma has died three times.
- 53:55Speaker 9: Three separate times. God bless your soul.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Okay, explain. Yeah, I'm so sad. Now, go ahead.
- 54:07Speaker 9: I mean, but but here's the thing.
- 54:08Speaker 4: Where I work, the turnover is insane. I mean, I've
- 54:12Speaker 4: had at least four different bosses in the last five years. Okay,
- 54:15Speaker 4: so yeah, none of them know each other, none of
- 54:19Speaker 4: them know my family. So every once in a while,
- 54:22Speaker 4: when I really need time off, I pull out the
- 54:24Speaker 4: emergency card and my grandma passed away.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Yeah this is so. You said.
- 54:30Speaker 2: She's died three times and every several times.
- 54:33Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, so, I mean, but like it's it's
- 54:38Speaker 4: not the biggest secret. A couple of my coworkers know
- 54:41Speaker 4: about it, and I mean they think it's hysterical.
- 54:43Speaker 1: They do, and they'll be like.
- 54:44Speaker 4: Yeah, and they'll be like, dang, did your grandma die already?
- 54:48Speaker 4: I'm like, yeah, but that was under the old management.
- 54:51Speaker 9: Grandma.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Oh god, I don't know how you keep a straight face.
- 55:00Speaker 2: That's that's kind of funny.
- 55:02Speaker 4: But the funniest part is my grandma's actually still alive
- 55:05Speaker 4: and she's totally fine.
- 55:06Speaker 2: Oh she is so good.
- 55:10Speaker 1: She does she know that? Oh she doesn't know she's died.
- 55:15Speaker 8: No zero.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Oh good, by the way, Grammy, you've died eight times
- 55:19Speaker 2: at my new job.
- 55:22Speaker 8: So this is where I kind of felt bad about this.
- 55:25Speaker 4: But one time, I you know, I went as far
- 55:28Speaker 4: as posting a sad Facebook post with a picture of her.
- 55:31Speaker 9: So no that I mean, I said, I felt.
- 55:35Speaker 4: Kind of bad. One of one of my bosses. We
- 55:39Speaker 4: were friends on Facebook, so I kind of wanted to, Oh.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Yeah, you had to go all in. Yeah, put that
- 55:44Speaker 1: ice on the cake.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Hopefully Granny's not on Facebook to have a heart attack literally,
- 55:49Speaker 2: like I died.
- 55:51Speaker 4: So that's probably that's probably the most unhinged part about it.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 55:55Speaker 8: I mean, I really don't feel that bad.
- 55:57Speaker 1: That is funny. Oh you don't feel bad?
- 55:58Speaker 4: No?
- 55:58Speaker 1: Why not? I mean, who cares? It's fine, it's just
- 56:01Speaker 1: a job.
- 56:01Speaker 4: This company that I worked for, they squeeze every ounce
- 56:04Speaker 4: of work out of their people, and you know, I
- 56:07Speaker 4: mean they act like we're all replaceable.
- 56:09Speaker 9: So yeah, I mean I try to squeeze as much
- 56:10Speaker 9: time off out of them as I can.
- 56:12Speaker 1: Yeah, why not.
- 56:13Speaker 2: I mean, if Grandma's got to die again, she's got
- 56:15Speaker 2: to die.
- 56:16Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, but.
- 56:18Speaker 4: The way things are going, I'm pretty sure that they're
- 56:20Speaker 4: going to fire me anyways at some point, so that happens.
- 56:23Speaker 4: He knows, gream she might have to die fourth time.
- 56:26Speaker 2: Yeah, get that vacation, give me that bereatment time.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Yeah you do.
- 56:32Speaker 2: I mean I I can hear the pain in your voice, sir, Right, yeah,
