- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: There he is.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: He is up on stage.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: Kenny.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: Are you able to speak?
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: Can you hear me?
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, you got me there big dog.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: Got your buddy.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: Got you.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: So Kenny is he is back.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: He is fresh off a trip to London.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: He was holding down the fort over there for the London game against the Vikings.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: Kenny real quick.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: Before we start diving into this stuff.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about it.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about this.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_00]: Your London experience.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, guys, I had a fantastic time the the burnish bulldog rounds backers.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_05]: They pulled off Antarctica and in correlation, obviously with the Cleveland Browns, I was supported by Cleveland Browns worldwide and there was three main things really.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_05]: It was the,
- 1:16[SPEAKER_05]: There was other events, but for me specifically, there was a welcome party, there was a backer bash, and there was a tailgate, and that was a side from the game.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_05]: And if you want to talk about the definition of Brown's Backers worldwide, it's obviously a bunch of chapters.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_05]: through the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Brown support, but being in London, we actually got to hang around worldwide Browns-backers fans.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_05]: Like, there was Browns-backers Switzerland.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_05]: There was the German Browns-backers.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_05]: We had guys in from Hawaii.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_05]: You know, we had guys in from all over the United States.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_05]: A lot of people from Columbus are in into.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_05]: And it was just a fantastic celebration of
- 2:01[SPEAKER_05]: fans at the end of the day, the welcome party.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_05]: That was at Broodog can be more happy with them.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_05]: That pub was two levels.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_05]: We had the entire second level.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_05]: I think we had 870 Browns fans at one point in there.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_05]: And it was wild.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_05]: The Browns also had a collaboration with Greenwood Pub, Off Victoria Street downtown London.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_05]: And we packed that place and the Browns dressed it up.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_05]: Brown and Orange, it was fantastic.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_05]: We had Joe Thomas stop by, it and your Hawkins stop by.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_05]: We had Gary Barnand stop by.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_05]: It was super impressive.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_05]: The only thing that would have wrapped a nice bow around that would be a big W, but we got a big lump of coal there.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: We, we almost had the W. We brought it down to the end there and then yes turn that thing into a Lump of coal before we get, first of all, can he thank you for, you know, sharing some, some of that experience.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: I, you know, you were sending me videos and pictures and posting on social media all weekend.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it looked like so much fun.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: I was very, very jealous that I couldn't be over there.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: And look like a lot of fun.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: It really did.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_05]: You know what, we just like I said, we didn't get the win.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_05]: I don't want to be the dead horse about that.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_05]: But just the ultimate celebration of the fandom with the Cleveland Browns was fantastic.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_05]: The boy could get a set again.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_05]: Like, they just didn't pull any stops on that.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_05]: It was really, really a good time.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_05]: And hanging out with all the Brown fans is the one thing that we can always look forward to whether the Browns win or lose.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_05]: And that's what it was all about.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: I see circ in the chats as I live just outside London.

- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: And that is how you know you are a
- 5:39[SPEAKER_05]: So before we get into it, I'll tell you one thing.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_05]: I got to hang out with one of the members.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_05]: I got to hang out with Aaron Watts.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_05]: We had a fantastic time.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_05]: I put it out there, the grand didn't hear from you.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, whenever I'm out of van guys, I'll probably be down for the Dolphins game.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_05]: I'll be in Vegas.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_05]: Just get a hold of me somehow.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_05]: And I can tell you what's going on and where it's going on because I will ever see the Browns Backers world live this year.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_05]: And I generally know what's going on.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I mean, the best place to get a hold of Kenny is right here in the discord.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: So make sure you guys had to join the dollars.com.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you're not already a member, if you are, again, this is where we are.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to talk to Kenny or you want to talk to me or Justin or Blake or whoever, any of these guys in here, that's where it's at.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: So before we go into this preview of the Browns and the Steelers, which I think is going to be interesting to talk about, we have other things.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: to discuss.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: We haven't had a chance to do on the show yet this week.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: The first one, obviously, this is like, it would have been the big news, but now it's just old news, but the Browns traded Joe Flacco, and they didn't just trade Joe Flacco to some other team that needed to quarterback.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: They traded him to the frequencies and any bangles into vision in state, just like three hours down the road, Joe just got a what in a car from enterprise that the
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: down the highway he goes and he will be starting this Sunday against the packers who he already faced in week 3 and 1 the Browns beat the that's the only one we have and that was Joe Flasso I forget what the stat is and if you guys remember putting the chat he'll be the first quarterback to beat the same team.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: If if the bangles were to somehow win against the Packers, I don't think they will, but he'd be the only is either the first, only whatever quarterback to beat the same team on two different teams.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe in history or sense.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: I forget.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but I'm on the same season then.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm strategizing so that thinks that's what it is.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, we, we sent Joe, um, I should have wrote the stuff down because I had it all in my other notes.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: What was the trade?
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: Do you remember it was Joe and a sixth round pick in exchange for a fifth round pick, correct?
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, can he's freezing up there a little bit.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm pretty sure that's what it was.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was Joe.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: We packaged him with a six round pick, traded him to the bangles.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: They sent us a fifth round pick.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: So it was kind of like a pick swap deal to get Joe Flacco down there.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, they need quarter back help in the worst way imaginable.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: Joe Burrow is out for potentially what they say three, four months.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm guessing it'll be the whole season.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: Jake Browning has looked horrible, just not good whatsoever playing for them.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: So bad that they traded for Joe Flacco on, I guess, what was a Tuesday or something?
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: And immediately said, yeah, he's starting for us this week.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: Like, just he's going to start.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's how bad their situation is.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: So the Browns at the moment,
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: have Dylan Gabriel and Shidorah Sanders on the active roster.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: Bailey's happy on the practice squad, I got to imagine he's, well, I'm sure you've said, I got to imagine he will be activated to the roster before Sunday.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: I would imagine because they don't have an emergency quarterback.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: And you have to be on the active roster.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: to be the emergency quarterback.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: So, that's the whole conversation that is will should or be the QB2, or are they going to keep him as the emergency quarterback and let Bailey Zapy be the QB2, and it goes back to that Ian Rappaport.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: report last Sunday, I think it came out in the morning before the Vikings game that the Browns do anticipate having Shoulder Sanders start games this year at some point, but it will be after I think he said after a full week of practice with a game plan specifically designed for him.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: So it makes me think and a lot of people speculate that the Browns won't want Shoulder Sanders won play away from coming into the middle of the game without being, you know, the full week of practice as the starter without the game plan, you know, designed specifically
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: So, that's why I keep telling people don't be surprised if he is made the emergency quarterback in Bayley Xappie gets promoted to QB2 ahead of Sunday's game.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think about that, Kenny?
- 9:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I would agree.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_05]: I think there's just slightly different quarterbacks.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_05]: I would expect more bootlegs in this game.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_05]: And I don't see that with Chidor.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_05]: It's going to be more of a traditional drawback style.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_05]: So I see it being a different.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_05]: So I think Zapy could run the same thing that Dylan canner's.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's exactly what it is.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_05]: It's nothing more than that.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_05]: It's not anything against Chidor.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_05]: I just think it's.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_05]: Bailey's right now without flacco.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_05]: We have Bailey's api and we have Dylan probably running more of a similar style offense and that's it.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and you know, I see the arguments online and I don't disagree with people that are saying things like
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: How unprepared can Shador Sanders actually be to go into an NFL game?
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: If you're telling us that Bailey's happy would be more prepared to go and mill the game because he hasn't exactly had the most robust career through I think four years now in the NFL.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: You had a couple of nice games where he started for the Patriots way back when, just kind of some spot starts.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think he took people a little by surprise, but it was nothing long lasting.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: And the last time we saw him on the field for the Browns,
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: It was bad.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like it wasn't pretty.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_05]: So, I mean, I understand that the biggest defensive lineman for the Ravens is an interception.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_05]: It was awful.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_05]: And I totally get where they're coming from from that.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_05]: But I again, I think you can weigh a game plan down for both of them because I think Shador's just like a different beast as far as what he could do for Stephanski's offense.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: No, I agree.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I think I just, I want everybody to keep this in mind if it does come out because I put in here, you know, last season, you got to remember this, this stuff can change all the way up until pretty much game time.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: On Sunday morning because last season it was that first game against Cincinnati at home.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: DTR was actually elevated to the QB 2 spot over James Winston.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_00]: He was demoted down to emergency quarterback that morning.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: It was kind of like that whole last second, like what we've, James has been the, the QB2 all season to that point, and DTR was the emergency quarterback all of a sudden that morning, and they flipped it.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: So this stuff can change all the way up until a game time.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: So everybody jumping out there saying, you know, Shoulders officially QB2, climbing the depth chart, all this stuff.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: Pump the brakes.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's not official yet.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't be surprised to see this change and I don't think it's it's obviously not me saying it and the browns aren't saying either that they think zappy is better than should or they just think He would be more prepared to go into the middle of a game because that's an unknown you have no idea what the game situation is what the script's gonna be What the play calling is gonna have to look like all that kind of stuff in the middle of game especially this one in Pittsburgh
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: against the Steelers, which we'll talk about here in a little bit.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: Does anybody in the chat have anything they wanted to chime in or talk about with the Joe Flacco trade?
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: Should or Sanders, QB2, all that stuff before we move on to the other big trade that happened last night?
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: All right, we've got Stacy would like to come on up.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_00]: Stacy, how's it going?
- 13:05[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I don't think I have to say about the Joe Flacco trade.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was a good trade because honestly, we weren't really using him.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: He was kind of just sitting on the bench and everyone wanted to should order B.C.B.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_02]: to anyways.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_02]: So I think to get a six round pick for a 40-old quarterback was a pretty good move by A.B.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, no, I definitely agree better than keeping him on the roster doing nothing like you said and we've already talked about how.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: If or when you go away from Dylan Gabriel at any point, you don't want to go back word to Joe Flacco.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: You want to try something else with like Shador.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: The thing that I keep seeing people talk about that I totally agree with though is it does seem a little halter sculptor with the Browns in this quarterback situation because they spent so many reps.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: Throughout training camp, getting this team prepared for the season, they gave all of these first team reps to Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco, and here we are week six, and neither one of them is on the roster.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_00]: So it kind of, like, what did they see in camp?
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: That was different than what we saw on the field during games, you know, because Joe Flacco did not last very long, and I get, I get why people are questioning the approach here and whether there's an actual plan or if they're just kind
- 14:18[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, the whole quarter batching looks bad, I mean, as far as you take, take a look at what we had to show in Watson, which is already like a front in our side, right.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_05]: And then we can't get this guy to play.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_05]: We're giving him all this money.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_05]: We're still got DTR on the books.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_05]: We still got Joe on the books really with the trade for a mill, I think, or 900,000.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_05]: And if you just lay out the dead money and everything we're playing the quarterback, it's just looks really bad.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_05]: That being said, though, I think Stacy was kind of hitting the nail in the head, getting that draft capital back, because that's a currency that move up and down the draft for next year for a guy that's probably not really going to...
- 14:58[SPEAKER_05]: play this much and then as far as him being like a veteran in the leader as a leader just to help the young guys out.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_05]: I mean we're paying one of the better quarterback coaches and one of them are veteran quarterback coaches in the league.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't think we really do need that.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_05]: I didn't hear if the fanski mentioned that Deshawn is still helping the young guys.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how much help he's going to give him, but there's that with it too.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: Stacy was there anything else before I bring Colton on up?
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: Just please guy, don't let Joe Flacker go to the bangles and let us light him up.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_05]: That's all.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_05]: Here he is.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_05]: That would be so brown.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: I do not want to see that either.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: It would be crazy.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: But you got to remember, too.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: They do have two very, very good and highly paid wide receivers down there as well.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: So, all right.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: Colton, we'll get you up here, Stacy.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: If there's anything else you want to talk about here in a little bit, just go ahead and put your hand back up.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: Colton, you're okay.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: You're good to go.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so I think the funniest, well, I guess that's more depressing than anything, but and this whole thing is watching Jackson go on Monday night football, come back and beat the chiefs and knowing that we have their first round pick next year.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_03]: And I think all along we're all thinking let's like googly eyes.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_03]: All right, you know, we traded the second back to the fifth and we're going to have probably in two top 10 picks next year.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to really be able to package it together.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to have two weapons that we really need and
- 16:23[SPEAKER_03]: Now, Jacksonville is just going on this unbelievable run with a rookie coach that nobody expected to now we're sitting here in despair like, okay, this is such a Cleveland thing to do is to trade back with the expectation of having a top prime pick and now it's going to fall possibly into the Cornese late 20s.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_03]: Which you never know, of course, in the NFL
- 16:51[SPEAKER_03]: So, but all that being said though, creating two of your top trading camp quarterbacks for fifth round fix.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_03]: If that's the plan that we have moving forward, I'm, I'm, I'm on the fence now of, hey, let's, let's punt this front office and move on because that's not where I want to see why it's time spent in quality sessions.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_03]: So, thanks for having me on.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_03]: I always appreciate it.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_03]: Always a portrait.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, always love hearing from your man for sure.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, you got the,
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: is I'll believe it when I see it kind of thing like I've watched the Jaguars I've watched Trevor Lawrence enough over the last what four or five years now
- 17:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just waiting for the other shooter drop kind of thing maybe they actually are this good and they carry this throughout the whole season and they make a playoff run all that kind of stuff.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't be surprised if all of a sudden they start dropping three games in a row and then they win one and they lose two and all of a sudden they're, you know, battling for 500.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_00]: I could also see that being the outcome as well.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I won't say it's guys falling on that Jaguars pick, but I agree it doesn't look great at the moment.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, they're getting a ton of turnovers.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_05]: I think they lead the league with 14.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe they have more after that game.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe that was just a pre-game stat.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_05]: But either way, like those turnovers do come in bunches.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_05]: And when you don't get them, and you depend on them for your wins, that could lead to some losses.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_05]: But I want to take anything away from them.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_05]: We finished off the 23 season like that.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_05]: They're starting the 2025 season off like that.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_05]: So that the chips fall where they may and see what happens.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: uh... jessia in the chat says do you guys think the extra pick will be used to package the jigs one for higher position this year or possibly move back and get a second first round pick in twenty twenty seven i don't think we'll have any idea what the bronzer plan to do and i don't think they have any idea what they're planning to do until we get there i mean we had we were it's always a possibility always a possibility i mean we were we thought it was going to be should or standards or you know a quarterback at two for a long time then it was
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: Who knows?
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: We got to let it all play out.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's really hard to talk.

- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: Dangercuffie.com code dogs.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: but speaking of Jacksonville, we might as well stay here on this topic because the Browns just traded again with the J. wires last night.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: It came out late.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: Luckily, it was like right before I went to bed.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_00]: So I didn't miss it.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: I was able to post about it and kind of do little research before I went to bed.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: But it was late.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: And the Browns traded a guy that has been the talk of possible trade rumors and all this stuff for two years now.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: And it was Greg Newsom.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: So they sent corner back Greg Newsome and a 2026 sixth round pick to the jag wires for another corner back Tyson Campbell and a 2,026 seventh round pick.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_00]: So a late round pick swap to trade Greg Newsome for Tyson Campbell.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_00]: So the difference here is Greg Newsome playing on an expiring contract with the Brown.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_00]: He was on his fifth year option.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_00]: and if he was going to be here next year was going to be via extension and i don't know if the browns were i heard reports i'm i think you guys read them to probably that the browns were willing to know entertain extension discussions with Greg newsson but it was going to he's going to cost a lot of money he's not like a high-end premiere corner back in the league but
- 22:18[SPEAKER_00]: his level of play and you can see it in the contract that Tyson Campbell got with the Jaguars.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: They're still going to get a lot of money.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this is still position that if you're any good, you're going to get a good bag of money.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what the Jaguars gave to Campbell gave him a four year, what was a $76 million contract back in 2024.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_00]: So just last pre last off season.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_00]: And so the Browns gets a guy under contract for the next few years.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's only like 1.4
- 22:48[SPEAKER_00]: So they get to clear Newsom's cap off the books.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: They could to bring on a very low comparable corner, I guess.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: And we can kind of talk about now if the Browns Upgrade, at corner, did they downgrade or is this just a lateral move?
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: What do your thoughts about at Kenny?
- 23:05[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, I think I think they upgraded slightly if he can stay healthy, but it's kind of forecores for a dollar at this point because they're both guys that have hands hamstring issues.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_05]: The only thing is it really comes into like a berry move, right?
- 23:19[SPEAKER_05]: He's already signed to a long longer contract, uh,
- 23:24[SPEAKER_05]: Campbell that is, and Newsom himself, he's on his 50th year, so he's like an unknown.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_05]: It doesn't maybe things haven't been going well, maybe the contact him, maybe they think he wants more money, maybe the money figure that Newsom gave him was bigger than what Tyson Campbell has, and Tyson Campbell himself, he fits Jim Swartz's defense really well, because
- 23:53[SPEAKER_05]: And then not fit that mold, right?
- 23:56[SPEAKER_05]: New soon's been a little bit more.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_05]: I think he's played more slot snaps overall.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_05]: And I think maybe that's something that Jaguars want to do with him.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_05]: But either way, this guy comes in.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_05]: He's a tackler, he's more along the lines of MJ Emerson.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_05]: And I think those are the guys that
- 24:14[SPEAKER_05]: Swartz is looking for.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_05]: So I think it's a good fit.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_05]: It's a good fit.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_05]: So as you stay healthy, and I think it'll be a good, I think I'm pretty comfortable with this, that we got the edge on this one.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: So I know, you know, I was texting with Justin Blake last night.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: Blake was pretty bombed.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, obviously we knew the the Greg News some trade was.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: a possibility.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: Tony just hang on a second.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to get you up here real quick.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_00]: But Blake obviously likes we all like Greg knew some on the show Blake's biggest fan of all of us.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: He was really bummed to see him go and all this stuff.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, he did bring a high energy.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: He was always up for the game.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_00]: Whether he had a good game or whether he had a game where he was getting burnt, you know, over and over, whatever.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: He had the energy.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_00]: He brought that tenacity to the defense and Tyson Campbell for what I've been able to gather and read from all the reports online.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like you said, more physical, great tackler.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: He could be a good fit for the more man man press coverage that Jim Schwartz likes to run.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_00]: Greg knew some kind of fits with the J.Y.ers want to do.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: And they're more like zone heavy scheme on defense and all this kind of stuff.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: What I've been seeing from Jaguars fans, because I said, you know, we were talking like, Blake's, I don't even know who this guy is, and I said, yeah, well, let's look.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_00]: So first of all, he was the 33rd pick in the 2021 draft Newsom was the 26th.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: So he was the very first pick in the second round by the Jaguars, just a few picks after Newsom.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: So same draft class, pretty much same age, all that kind of stuff.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: I, you know, I was kind of reading through some of the Cleveland medium, what they were posting about it and everything and of course they want to put all hey we're getting this player and all this stuff put a nice spin on I saw I need to go see what jag wires people are saying about it.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I went and I started searching to see what like some of their main media and their fanbase was saying about Tyson Campbell and I didn't see anything except people happy that he was no longer on their team.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_00]: People were saying, get this guy, the F off my team from what I was reading.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_00]: He gives up.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a decent corner, but he has the knack of giving up a big play.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: Pretty much every game from what I've been reading.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_00]: He struggled the last couple of seasons.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville got this new front office in there and they just didn't feel like he was living up to the contract that the previous regime had given him.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_00]: So they were looking to offload him and his contract and all that kind of stuff.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't really know what to expect with Tyson Campbell.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of feel like we downgraded a little bit.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think Greg knew some is the better corner back, but we'll see.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: Let me get Tony up here and see if he's got a perspective on this.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so the perspective on that, I have two things with this, but I'll comment on that.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_04]: It's playing zone and a defense and then playing man in defense are two different things.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_04]: So, and a zone, a lot of the Jacksonville fans can give really pissed off on them because he might be giving up a big play, but that's their own coverage.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes it's safety help that needs to come over, there's so many different factors to go on that.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_04]: Now, when you play a man in man, it's, you know,
- 27:15[SPEAKER_04]: It's your guy and you're not expecting any help.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_04]: You're there for him.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_04]: And if he's seen more as a man-to-man type thing, maybe he'll work out here in Cleveland.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_04]: Because that's typically where we run, obviously I know that we run some zones sometimes.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_04]: But I mean, if he's seen at that, then maybe it'll be more beneficial for us and same thing for Grudonition.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_04]: I would tailor more that it's more of a lateral.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_04]: Newson's gonna fit that scheme better and Tyson's gonna fit this seam better.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_04]: Um, the second point that I want to bring up, um, I said this is a chat earlier and I know you guys are saying it's, it's a money move and I can just like that.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_04]: The one thing that I didn't understand was why I traded him now when especially, I would say he's had a pretty good productive season so far, um, at least decently and not wait.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_04]: closer to the trade deadline, seeing if he, especially if he keeps getting better or he does more to get more value out of him, I understand that we're going to need a quarterback to fill that role, especially if news is not here, because our backups, I wouldn't say are anything more of the of a keybie to it right now.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_04]: So, I mean, I understand the move.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_04]: I just didn't understand why now when
- 28:22[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe, and I know it's all what if world, but you could have got probably more value out of him when he got close to that trade deadline because I think we all knew it If news and did a good extension done by the trade deadline, we all knew he was gonna be traded by then unless this season was just like a four and one start
- 28:39[SPEAKER_05]: I would think it's just they wanted Campbell and he was available at that point and it was fly on their chart or however they did be up who they wanted and what they want to get.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_05]: It could have been a possible conversation to add this kid when we get our trade originally with Jacksonville and he didn't get in there and then finally they offered up some kind of
- 29:07[SPEAKER_05]: that's I would just say it's been ongoing talks since the last trade that we did with them.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_05]: That's what I think.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: And also it might come down to, well, one, we don't know what kind of trade talks or, you know, interests the Browns have gaged from the rest of the league on Greg Newsom.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they've already done some, you know, put some feelers out there and found out that, man, there's really not a big market for Greg Newsom at the moment.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if that's the case or not.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying that could be part of it.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: And the other part of it too, sometimes you just, a deal comes across and you think that's pretty good deal and you could either try to hold out for a better one and take the risk of not getting a better one.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_00]: Or you just take that good deal because it's there, it's available and you know you're gonna make a deal with this guy or try to at least anyway.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: So they just went ahead and did it.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: Either way, you get a guy at the corner back position, kind of like you were saying Tony for the next couple years.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_00]: Like we've now we've got Denzel Ward and at least we've got another guy to put across from him.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: Who is a good, you know, starting caliber corner back because the rest of our corner back room like you said is not good.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: Miles Harden, Cam Mitchell.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they just added Dom Jones officially to the active roster because they can't put into the practice squad and call him up anymore.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: They used up all his elevations.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: It ain't pretty.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: It is not pretty.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll talk about it here with the Steelers preview kind of what to expect this weekend from the secondary, but yeah, the cornerback situation is bad and who knows what they want to do with Emerson too.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: I've talked about it where the Achilles injury for Emerson could open the door for the Browns to bring him back at a very low cost.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: For next year, so you could be looking at extending or retaining Emerson with ward and now Tyson Campbell, which I don't think is the worst thing in the world, especially with all the other holes that we have to fill next off season on the offense.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: Andrew Barry, thank you for getting Mason Graham, thank you for getting Carson Swesinger.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_00]: We need offense.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm done drafting defensive players get to give me some offense.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_00]: So Does anybody else have anything about the trades that you want to talk about anything with Joe Flacco?
- 31:17[SPEAKER_00]: I had a thing with, you know, new some Campbell before we move on to the stealer's preview.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_00]: Going once going truth Brad.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: We usually don't buy this long show without hearing from you.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on, man?
- 31:39[SPEAKER_00]: Brad, you're not, I got you.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're good, but, oh, you can hear him.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_00]: I can't hear him.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I can hear him.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's so weird.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, try now.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: Here in me now.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, okay.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, man.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: There was there was what two weeks ago I did a show and I cut off the vante using the I think you and Kenny were talking about something I couldn't hear anybody anymore I said okay, well, I guess nobody's here talking anymore, so I just ended the show.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what's going on?
- 32:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a lot discord.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, Brad, I can hear you.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on, man?
- 32:16[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, here we are again.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_06]: We're
- 32:20[SPEAKER_06]: for back to the dumpster fire that is to Cleveland Browns once again, and we have, we have, we have all the media as Kevin Simpansky getting fired is Andrew Barry on the hot seed is Kevin on the hot seed.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_06]: We're trading away quarterbacks.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_06]: We have, I don't know if you saw
- 32:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's crazy.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_00]: That is why we're talking about that.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_06]: A eight quarterbacks on the payroll.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I mean, I remember one time we used to have like what three or four coat by coaches on the payroll after we fired them all.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_06]: Um, probably still around the quarterbacks.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_06]: You know, now we have the, oh, now that we got rid of Joe.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, it's a sharp watching coming back now.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_06]: God, I don't want him on the field.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_06]: He's like, if I saw him, like, if I see a report says, Sean wants us being activated to the active roster, I might just like, full out crash out on the Brown social media page.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't want him on the field.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_06]: I don't want him in a Brown jersey anymore.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_06]: He has just like destroyed this whole fan base.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_06]: And us, in general, just the whole time he's been here.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm tired of his annoying burner counts.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_06]: This is everything.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_06]: As far as the trades go, gain a fifth round pick or go flacco.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, name me another gym that's gonna do that one.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_06]: So, um, I think the last couple of years and your berry has been doing better.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_06]: I know me out of most people I've been pretty critical
- 34:30[SPEAKER_06]: of Andrew Barry, but the draft looks good so far.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_06]: We have not seen Andrew draft us a wide receiver or a quarter, well, you'd rather have to these two corrects.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_06]: I'm talking like a first round quarterback, like franchise changed your quarterback yet.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I want to give Dylan and Trador of chance, but I kind of see the writing on the wall.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I can see we're Dylan has a bag game.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, I was such a store.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_06]: Trador has a bag game.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, well, you know, we're just going to draft the quarterback in the top five, the best draft.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it's just sometimes this organization is just so predictable and.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_06]: But people are like, well, you know, we really shouldn't draft a quarterback well, everybody forgets just even if the front office, the scouts, everybody does well, you still have Jerry Jones wish version as our owner that will just be like, you know what, we got a draft quarterback number one role.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_06]: So that's what we're going to do.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_06]: So.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_00]: No, I mean, well, we'll definitely have all those conversations as the season goes on later in the season, then after the seasons over about what they're going to do and the draft and moving forward to quarterback and all that stuff, but you know, if it's another draft where and I see, you know, gauge in the chassis, this QB class is underwhelming, yeah, so far in college, there's really nothing.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, nobody that's locked and loaded, this is a top like three guy, you gotta go and get this quarterback, he's going to change.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have that right now.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_00]: Now, they could still emerge, I suppose, but at this point, there is nobody and
- 36:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, if the Browns elect to punt another season without, you know, using a high pick on a quarterback to try to get the franchise guy in here.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: That's just another season of excuses for the front office for the coaching staff.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they don't have the quarterback, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we'll see what happens.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see what happens.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to get too down on all that stuff right now.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_00]: The last thing that I wanted to talk about here real quick, trying to find it.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, Gage in the chat says, my only question is who is next when he's talking Brad, I'll get you back up here in a little bit, talking about the new some trade.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm probably going to do some sort of episode or video next Tuesday looking at that.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to look at, excuse me, the guys on the roster who are on their last year of their deal and which players could in the next to go because it seems like we're trading guys.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: And we expected that and it's happening.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, off top of my head, I don't know if like, I'd have to look at their contracts and what the numbers look like, but teller could be a guy and joke who obviously we've
- 37:12[SPEAKER_05]: It's a shell, it's got to be her, it's got to be her if Hulk can ever get off the populist.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_05]: You know, we're going to trade guys and send veterans to teams that need help so we can bring young guys through and it looks like everything's going for like what did what Andrew Jackson called a sophisticated rebuild?
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, the Harvard, the Ivy League rebuild.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: either way you guys suck all right let's move on to this game we've got the
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: Our next divisional opponent, the one in four Browns, heading into Pittsburgh to face the three and one Steelers real quick.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: The Steelers are six and a half point favorites.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: Last I checked the over under again this week below 40 points 38.5 Cleveland is plus 225 to win the game the last time.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_00]: The Browns won a regular season game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh regular season
- 38:13[SPEAKER_05]: 22 years ago, not picked off Ben two or three times, and I think Dale and McCutchen took one back to the house.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_05]: I remember that game.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I don't.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_00]: That was so long ago.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_00]: So long ago.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_00]: Since then, the Steelers have dominated the Browns at home.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a win streak of 20 games straight that they beat the Browns at home.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: So Sunday the day we break that streak.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_00]: What do you think, Kenny?
- 38:36[SPEAKER_00]: What do you guys think in the chat?
- 38:37[SPEAKER_00]: Get your hands up if you guys want to talk about this game?
- 38:40[SPEAKER_05]: Man, it's tough to stay at as defensive minded as the Browns are the Steelers are too.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_05]: And I just can't remember a game where we just didn't have three turnovers there.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_05]: Ultimately, you could just replay the script.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_05]: last week and I just don't trust the the younger team with the coaching to like get us through the fourth quarter.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_05]: If there's some miracle where they come off the by after their win in Ireland and they're just a little rusty and we can capitalize on some point somehow because we have been getting first quarter drives of late and can
- 39:19[SPEAKER_05]: continue that momentum with Dylan as a quarterback and he progresses a little bit more.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_05]: Maybe there's something, but ultimately based on history and that 20 game win streak and us going there, I just don't see it happening.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_05]: I just see the Vikings game happening all over again, beyond us with you.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we've got hands flying up in the chat here, so we'll get Tony up here first.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_00]: One thing real quick that you just mentioned, Kenny, the
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: The Browns elected not to take a buy week after their their London trip.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: So they could have had a buy week this weekend.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_00]: We wouldn't be talking about a game.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: They'd be getting a week arrest and all that kind of stuff.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't want one this early in the season.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_00]: They wanted one a little bit more toward the middle or whatever.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_00]: So they didn't take it.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_00]: The Steelers did.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: They took their by week last week and after they were in Dublin, like you said, and face the Vikings over in Ireland.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_00]: So they came home.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_00]: They rested up.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_00]: They've practiced.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_00]: They've had two weeks of prepare for this game.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's the tough spot for the Browns.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_00]: Tony, what's going on, man?
- 40:19[SPEAKER_04]: I feel so I don't even want to say anymore because after Kenny talks about how we just are known for making turnovers in this pixel game at Pittsburgh, I was going to say I don't want to see a reserved offensive game plan with Gabriel this week.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_04]: I know that's really hard to say especially gets a defense that's going to Pittsburgh's.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_04]: But man, when I look back at a Vikings game, and even if you open up the Playbook, or just a tad more, I'm not saying that it has to be front cover to the back cover, like everything's on the table, but that game could have changed differently.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you saw in those last three drives where it was basic, I don't want Gabriel to turn over the ball, we're gonna play safe for an Hobart defense ones.
- 41:05[SPEAKER_04]: We can't do that the rest of the season, and on top of that too, if you really wanna see how good this kit is,
- 41:12[SPEAKER_04]: You got to let them go out there and play.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_04]: You can't just let them sit there in the pocket, give them the basic plays and say, hey, just don't turn over the ball, just throw your five yard outs or 10 yard outs or whatever the case may be.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_04]: Like, you got to open up the offense.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_04]: And then that's got to be that, because if you really want to get an idea, how good it is, that's the way you're going to do that.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_04]: Especially against a defense as good as Pittsburgh's.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_04]: That'll give you a tall tail sign on how well he's able to read the defense and he's able to see his guys, go through his progressions, and if he has the time to do it.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_04]: right, and then secondly, the thing I'll say about the game, I actually have a slightly good feeling about this game because Aaron Rodgers has kind of shown.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_04]: If he's playing against very good defense, not saying that Viking's defense isn't good, but he has seemed to not do as well, more he's prone to make a few more mistakes for he could throw an intersection here and honestly, man, if Viking's had any sort of run defense against the Steelers, I don't think the Steelers won that game in London, not in London, Dublin.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and if we get bring up a good, you know, run defensive against them and, you know, Denzo Ward or, you know, hopefully Tyson Campbell can, I'm not going to say completely stop DJ DKMF, but slow him down where he's not going to have a one reception 80 yard touchdown, like they get against Minnesota, there's a good chance this game's going to come to, okay, what kicker is going to make the field goal is going to be Schmitzer is going to be Boswell the ones to game.

- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: real quick, you know, talking about the Steelers defense that they're tough and they've really come on.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think the last few weeks, I don't think they started out so well.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: But obviously, they start turning on their always tough at home.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_00]: But like if you just go by the numbers, I thought this was interesting when I was looking up the stats.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_00]: Today, the Steelers actually give up the fifth most yards in the entire league.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_00]: 382.5 yards for game.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_00]: The third most passing yards at 260.5 and they're about middle of the pack against the run at 122.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_00]: What's interesting is the offensive side of the ball.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_00]: The Browns actually average more yards per game than the Steelers do on offense.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_00]: 288 versus 263.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_00]: Both offences are bottom six in the NFL.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_00]: So neither one of these offences are as high or explosive or anything like that.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_00]: The Brown's average 192.6 yards per game passing.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_00]: Pittsburgh just won 83.5 in the Steelers.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: So the second worst rushing offense in the entire league, just 80 yards per game.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_00]: The Brown's are at 95.8.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: The big difference.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: The Steelers' average 24 points per game.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_00]: And the Brown's are second to last in the NFL still at 14.6.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I sounds like if we're going to, if we're going to take advantage, it might have to be through the air.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're going to still get, Quintron is going to get his on the ground.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's, he's a good enough runner that whether you're a good run defense or not, I think he's going to at least have his moments.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: And you're right, this could be a game where Dylan Gabriel maybe is asked to do a little bit more.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't know that might open him up to some potential mistakes as well.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, we've got to beat many coverage, man.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_05]: That's what we have to do.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_05]: We've got to get the ball more than 10 yards down the field.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_05]: Like, it's, you do that, you win the game.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Stacy, back up here.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on?
- 46:50[SPEAKER_02]: So today is actually my birthday.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_02]: Happy birthday.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_05]: Happy birthday.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks, guys.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'm excited for this week.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_02]: And usually, my birthday always falls during the season.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_02]: So we got our games going.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_02]: And we always have like a little browns party.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_02]: Sadly, this year, it's the Steelers game.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't know, if I'm going to be honest, I don't think we're going to pull this one out.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_02]: And the reason being is, number one, Jalen Warren's coming back, I believe, and he's a hell of a good running back.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_02]: And for some reason that dude just has our number and gets plenty of yards every time he plays us.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_02]: So, there's that coming.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_02]: And then I just, I just don't see our cornerbacks.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_02]: blinding up right with their receivers, even like Calvin Austin, like no one wants to talk about him.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_02]: But that dude, again, some reason he seems to get a lot of yards when he plays against us.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_02]: So it's gonna really challenge our new cornerback.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_02]: And as he for sure playing, do we know it's like he's playing for sure this time?
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: So the report was, I think they talked to him today, the press conference gym shorts, and he said, you know, he'd just got like his boots on the ground.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think was the quote, I haven't even met him yet.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_00]: But they are planning to get him up to
- 48:01[SPEAKER_00]: Sunday now I posted this on X. I said, you know, we we saw the Browns trade for Cam Robinson left tackle Monday of last week and then they had him available for the game on Sunday and you saw how well that went.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't look like he knew what he's doing.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't look up to speed at all.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_00]: now how different is it to play left tackle versus corner.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know all that stuff.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_00]: All I know is he's not probably not even practicing today tomorrow's Friday and then the game is Sunday.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know how up to speed he's going to be is it could get really hairy for our secondary.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I just, and I don't know what the heck happened last game with the biking setting those offensive linemen out.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_02]: We could not get pressure to save our lives, so if we can't get pressure this weekend on Aaron Rogers, yeah, we're going to be, we're going to be in trouble.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_02]: So unfortunately, that's the way I see it going, I hate to be negative, but yeah.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think you're being negative.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I think that's a really good point.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_05]: The biggest thing when I'm being at the game of watching it is I found that Carson Wetz maybe draw back to set.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_05]: Like it was fast.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_05]: It was under two seconds.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_05]: Everything was coming out.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_05]: And I think it's kind of a blueprint to beat the defense of wine because that's the heart of the team.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_05]: everybody knows that they can get after it.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_05]: So there's going to be a lot of quick outs.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_05]: There's going to be a lot of hard slants to DK Medkath.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_05]: Calvin Austin's going to be doing some buttonhots and then they're going to take their shots with Aaron Rogers.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_05]: But I think they have to do something either drop a lineman or like drop all their
- 49:31[SPEAKER_05]: linebackers and just really do the bubble coverage almost that that we do instead of rushing everybody all the time and I think that's the way to kind of get around it but it's our bread and butter and ultimately what they have to do is they got to stop the run, they got to stop Warren like you said and get him to third and long and just release the hounds but if they keep you know nickel and dime us like we eventually break and that's because our defensive line
- 50:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think he said a perfect like we have to do for a second down, drop everybody back just because we don't have enough in the back field.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_02]: So then third down, bring them the free get to that point.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_05]: Like get hands up, buy some balls down if we can with Aaron Rodgers and like, you know, see what happens.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_05]: And just I didn't feel like last week that they changed enough up on that game plan.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so we keep saying the name Aaron Rodgers obviously playing quarterback for the Steelers.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_00]: As old, I get it.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's what 41 42.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: Probably why I think he said this is his last year.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's retiring after the season, interjects and says he's 44.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_00]: He's old, he is an old quarterback, but he has shown, obviously, can still play football at a decently high level future Hall of Famer, all that stuff.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: This is a guy that whatever you're going to bring in him on defense, he has seen it many, many times before.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_00]: It
- 51:00[SPEAKER_00]: doesn't mean he's spectacular every game it just means he gives you an edge as the quarterback for your offense because he just he's that season veteran he knows what he's doing and the stat okay so I wanted to go through these numbers and you guys in the chat get your hands up let me know if you're up here in a second let me know what you guys think about this if you didn't see it the home road splits between our defense this season.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_00]: So I went and I looked at the first five games home road and this is very reminiscent of what the defense was like in 2023 if you guys remember we were elite at home we were just doing big things at home on the road.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think we were pretty much like bottom of the league in a lot of these stack categories.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of starting to look the same this season.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_00]: So at home, we on defense, we only allow 13 and 1.5 points per game on the road, 32.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_00]: Now I get it a lot of that on the road is because our offense also sucks on the road.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_00]: They turn the ball over, they give the opposing team, you know, good close scoring drives, all that kind of stuff I get it, but they also give a four touchdown passes to Lamar Jackson.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_00]: So at home,
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: The defense holds opponents to 185 yards total in a game 63 and a half rushing 122 passing on the road.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's over 100 yards more to 89.4 yards for game total 83.7 rushing and 205.7 passing.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_00]: So big difference between the defense on the road and the defense at home.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_00]: Then like sacks, they average four sacks at home, just two sacks on the road.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_00]: they hold teams to two or twelve and a half first downs at home 16 almost 17 first downs on the road and this game is on the road.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think you're being negative, Stacey.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think like Kenny said, it's realistic.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_00]: I, this team is going to struggle.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_00]: They are going to struggle Sunday.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_00]: They always do, they always struggle in Pittsburgh.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_00]: And this team specifically is going to struggle, I think.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_00]: I, I like Dylan Gabriel.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think he does what Kevin's to fanski and the offense wants him to do, take care of the ball, play smart, play accurately, play on time.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_00]: Steelers to tough.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_00]: JJ watt or TJ Watts.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, um, it's just, it's going to be interesting.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_00]: I know, gauge in the chat said I think this is the week we see Gabriel's first turn over the season.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's very possible.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_00]: Whether it's an interception, strip sac, something like that.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want it to happen, but we've seen it time and time again.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and we got just a lot younger, you know, but from last year to this year, we got guys and positions that aren't used to playing and the most of those mistakes with rookies are first year guys.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_05]: They happen on the road.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_05]: So they've got to be very careful, take care of the ball and it might lead to the victory, but I mean, I'm not feeling as confident with this situation that we're in.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, how light?
- 53:51[SPEAKER_05]: I came back from party in all week and the jet legs killing me right now, I don't know if you can tell.
- 53:56[SPEAKER_05]: I can imagine playing a football game in the NFL in two days.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're going to be tired, worn out, all that stuff.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't want to just blame the mistakes and this stuff on the young guys either, because I was watching some of Jake Burns Browns feel breakdown from last week.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, David and Joker was out there making big mistakes on the offense, not blocking guys that he was supposed to get getting beat off the line.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, guys blowing up the play with Dylan Gabriel because in jokus out there missing is what why it tell her a couple plays like what the hell is he doing?
- 54:25[SPEAKER_00]: And it just seems like there's miscommunications some these guys just don't know what they're doing all the time and it's not just the rookies.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's also the veteran.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you got your veteran.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you receive her one Jerry Jew to who can't catch up pass?
- 54:38[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I'm going to talk on him running around until he turns it around one of my supposed to do sit here and every week be like, oh, yeah, he's going to turn around this week every week.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's out there dropping passes.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_00]: He catches like one or two balls of game for, you know, like 20 yards.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to remind people.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_02]: Jerry duty is still on the trade box.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, is this a fantasy call out?
- 55:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's for the fantasy.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got him in a league too.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_00]: If anybody wants him, come get him.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's awesome.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get Brad.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_00]: I know you still wanted to come up.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: I believe.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_00]: Stacy.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_00]: Love hearing from you guys every week.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_00]: Brad, what's going on?
- 55:19[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, well, I glad you guys being down to earth about the Pittsburgh game because, you know, I'm be pretty brutal about it.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_06]: We have a new corner.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_06]: We still have a rookie quarterback.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_00]: Let me stop you real quick.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_00]: Let me stop you real quick.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_00]: Keep that thought.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'll get right back to you.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_00]: We do have a new corner.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_00]: And if he's not ready to go, or he's only going to play liminous naps, you're talking about miles, hardened and domed zones.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_00]: Continue.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'm with you.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_06]: So we got, we got Walmart Greedier without their corner possibly for Sunday.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_06]: So that should go good.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know, I, the only way we beat Ed Spurg is if we just beat the crap out of their defense with our running game and has scenes going to be rare and limited probably just to tight ends because our star or wide receiver can't seem to catch balls that he's supposed
- 56:32[SPEAKER_06]: we don't have a wide receiver really after that.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, bond and get open sometimes, but
- 56:40[SPEAKER_06]: It's you know, I saw Gabriel kind of favoring him because it seems like Bond is starting to take some good routes to get open and that one played is from last week I had to like kind of keep people in charge like all dealing with white open yeah well, she had like barely two seconds to step in the pocket and throw to that wide open guy so, you know, he's a rookie he's going to make those mistakes it happens.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_06]: I don't, I see this as we're probably getting beat by two touchdowns from the Steelers unfortunately and it just move on through the dumpster fire of the season and who knows I definitely could see as Gage has said Dylan turned it over the ball to the Steelers because the Steelers like to get turnovers from our rookies.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_06]: So and we're facing a coach if everybody remembers
- 57:37[SPEAKER_06]: that doesn't allow rookies to beat his team at home.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_06]: So we're just keep that in mind for that matter.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_06]: and we're the brands.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_06]: So, so let's keep that in mind.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_06]: I don't really have much hope for the game on Sunday.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_06]: I'm just going to watch.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_06]: See if Gabriel goes through his progressions a little better and makes a couple more reads and just watch Quinshan be a possible rookie of the year.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_06]: So.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I that's where I will.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like the seasons kind of been like the roller coaster on my expectations for each game because like week one I thought we had a chance obviously going into that game like we can beat the bangles and we should have
- 58:20[SPEAKER_00]: It was a cool game.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_00]: And then we too, I really thought it was going to be a bad game in Baltimore, and they walked us bad, where the only team they've beaten, where the only team that they haven't let score 40 points on them.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_00]: We scored three without a fluke touchdown and a late garbage time touchdown.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_00]: We three, you know, the packers, I thought that was going to be a low scoring defensive game.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_00]: But I thought they were definitely going to beat us.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was wrong.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_00]: We were able to come out with a win on that one.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_00]: We four.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't think there was any chance.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_00]: We were going into Detroit and beating the lines.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_00]: And they just took us behind the woodshed.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_00]: And then last week, I thought it would be, it would be close, but eventually the Vikings would win and they did.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_00]: And this week, I think it's going to be back to that.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're getting beat bad.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_00]: I hate to say it.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_00]: I hate losing.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so tired of losing 4 and 20 in the last 24 games.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_00]: I keep saying it on repeat, but it just makes me sick.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't think this is the one that we get in Pittsburgh.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_05]: No, I mean, we talked about it all off season.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, these first six games, we just didn't see it with the team because we just had too many, what ifs, right?
- 59:24[SPEAKER_05]: And it was like, what if all the receivers after Judy show up?
- 59:28[SPEAKER_05]: What if, you know, Quinshawn is good with Galen Sampson, you know, our Dylan Sampson, what if, you know, with our,
- 59:37[SPEAKER_05]: defense of backs, but like we got injuries, you know, QJ is what we thought he was.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_05]: It was awesome, but Sam's is not coming along, like you should.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_05]: The receivers, I mean, maybe there was some false hope after the preseason, but they are just not
- 59:54[SPEAKER_05]: anywhere close to being NFL caliber after Judy and he's not even looking that way.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_05]: So there's a long way to go for this team and it's going to be like a rough season, but there are glimmers of hope.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, like if you take a look and, you know, it's like like always says there are guys open.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_05]: If we can just get
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_05]: The ball to them somehow, there is a glimmer of hope with the back end of the schedule.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_05]: But we got to get through these places that we don't play well and they had more starters and less injuries or whatever it was at the beginning of these six.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_05]: But if we somehow get too far out here, I mean, I'll be doing black back flips, man, I'll think they'll be fantastic.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_05]: So let's see what they can do this week.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_05]: But I mean, again, it's in Pittsburgh, we don't do well.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, and I mean, I think I said this on Tuesday show and I'll say it again like this why I don't like to do the whole schedule watching and prediction thing ahead of the season because you know, we all said, well, it's a gauntlet to start the season.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_00]: It really wasn't.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the bangles were terrible.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_00]: The ravens we now know are a terrible defense.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_00]: we're just that bad on offense like that we should a good team can do stuff on them obviously and like the Vikings they were down everything on offense we should our defensive lines should have manhandled them car some one should have had you know been buried in the turf and all this stuff so those games weren't as tough as they looked ahead of the you know ahead of the season but this one I do think we'll be I got Joe Marica
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_00]: here in the chat says I'm not feeling very hopeful about this week.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, each week I've thought we've had a decent chance to win, but not this week and Mama Tendo.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out Mama Tendo says not a whole lot of optimism for this game, mostly because it's a road game and as previously noted our defense doesn't show up on the road.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, that is trending to be the case again this season.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's football.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's it's NFL football.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's always it's any given Sunday.
- 1:01:53[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, just unfortunately it has not been any given Sunday for the Browns over the last 22 years.
- 1:01:59[SPEAKER_00]: The last 20 games or whatever in Pittsburgh regular season games have not gone our way.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_00]: So that does not.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, at least we got that playoff game in our build.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_05]: That was a beauty in the local fall.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, have great memories of that, even though the skin will be that great.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_05]: But I'll be looking for it with my browse backers.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_05]: It's Thanksgiving up here in Canada.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, thank you.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_05]: We got a lot weekend.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_05]: And yeah, if you're in the 613 area, man, come on down to Mulligan's and hang out with us.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_05]: And we'll have some Thanksgiving fun.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_06]: I got it.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_06]: Two last things for you guys and first.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_06]: Kenny.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_06]: Kenny.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_06]: Odd to your blue jays.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_06]: Forgetting rid of the skankies.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_06]: I would play all.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_06]: I would write it up them and the play out.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to root for your jays the rest of the way, because obviously my team doesn't know how to spend money in the right way.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_06]: So that's what we're at with them.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_06]: Still great team.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_06]: Just we need a couple more pieces.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_06]: And the last thing can NFL stop scheduling us against the Vikings in England, please just stop.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_06]: We will we've lost every both times.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_06]: We knew team for going back to England and we knew another team dog.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_00]: That's all I got.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's funny because the last time we played or I should say the last time the first time we played the Vikings in London was 2017.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, that was the second year of the back-to-back, the 131, the tanking seasons where we were trying to rebuild and all that stuff.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's funny that we got scheduled to go play the Vikings in London this year.
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's now the second year in a back-to-back of, you know, last year we were three and 14, God knows what we're going to end up this year.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_00]: The situations are just too similar for my liking.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_00]: I
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_05]: No, man.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_05]: I'm, uh, I just want to get out.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_05]: I just want to look you do.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_05]: I want to see wins.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_05]: I totally get the frustration.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_05]: You got you and, uh, Blake are hilarious.
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_05]: I can't through the day.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_05]: I think you guys are both right.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, number one was Blake's point.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_05]: He's always like, what coach would you put in the situation with windmower?
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, maybe Kevin O'Connell, because of his great record, would took Mike Tomlin do anything better with this, you know, you want to see everybody fire.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_05]: And I get on that emotional train too.
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just like, Mara, so tired of this, like, let's just start and fresh, but that doesn't get us anywhere either until the end of the season.
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, it's right now we just have to accept that they just don't play good football.
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_05]: As it is the way it is.
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_05]: No, man.
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_05]: And until they come out and play some good football,
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_05]: You know, this is what we got to expect.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_00]: No, you're right.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_00]: And again, I'm not I'm not advocating ever that we were that we fired these guys right now.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that helps anything this team sucks way too bad to recover from her to improve.
- 1:04:47[SPEAKER_00]: by firing anybody, but it's at the end of this season.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see how things play out.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_00]: I just not optimistic that this is the right regime to take us where we want to go.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_00]: Blake thinks it's a lot about the personnel.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_00]: Like if we just got good personnel in here on offense, then we'd be a good team.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm more of the mindset that I don't care who you bring in here.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_00]: This coaching staff is not going to get the most out of these guys and they're just not going to be good enough.
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_00]: that I want to be wrong.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_00]: I say it all the time.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_00]: I hope I'm the one who's wrong about this.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_00]: This is not about wanting to win the argument.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's just the way I feel.
- 1:05:17[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, I said I said the other day, is this team going to finish with just one win at the end of this season?
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't think so.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's definitely games down the stretch here that we're gonna win.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how many we could end up with three wins like last year, maybe four or five.
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_00]: When it's all said and
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, if and when it moves to Shador and then how he plays it really rides a lot on these rookie quarterbacks and you can't say anything about the vets because we don't have any so it is a very very young rookie heavy team I forget how many rookies we have right now in the roster, but it is a tons like 14 or something like that.
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and they, you know, that's there's a propensity to have miscommunications mistakes with that.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that they can eventually grow some things will change, you know, that that happens to the course of the season.
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_05]: So, I mean, ultimately, how are they going to develop?
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_05]: Let's see that, man.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to be down in Miami guys for the Miami game.
- 1:06:15[SPEAKER_05]: So, if you guys want to hang out, let's do it.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_05]: Let's see a win.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, and we'll talk about that.
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's next week's game, right?
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so we'll talk about that next Thursday, whenever what day are you coming down?
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_05]: uh, depends if I can get a, uh, a, I'll see, yes, tickets.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_05]: I knew the American League ticket.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know if I'm going to come through Detroit or if I'm definitely not going to Seattle, that's for sure.
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll just see wins and I'll figure that out.
- 1:06:42[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_00]: Sounds good.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
