  Speaker 1: it's just been beautiful to while she's pushed me like

  Speaker 1: she's actually one of the worship leaders at my church

  Speaker 1: and my direct director as I serve in ministry, right now,

  Speaker 1: and she's really pushed me to kind of, you know,
• 5:30
  Speaker 1: step out there a little bit, you know, more with
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: my voice. You know, she's very direct, and I love
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: that sweet as pie, but she you know what it is.

  Speaker 1: And so just watching that and being under that has
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: really helped me kind of come out a little bit,
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: you know. And so I'm just grateful for your Crystal,

  Speaker 1: the confidence that she has to like some of worshippers,

  Speaker 1: I feel like confidence is something that worshipers kind of
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: struggle with to sometimes because.

  Speaker 2: Work and and let me be friend.

  Speaker 1: Worship in the form of song, because worship you can

  Speaker 1: be tithing, you can.

  Speaker 2: How you treat your neighbors, right, this is worship.

  Speaker 1: The podcast is worshiped, like worship is a form of

  Speaker 1: honoring God.

  Speaker 1: That's so good what you just said, how you treat

  Speaker 1: your neighbors. That's a form of worship. We think like worshiping.

  Speaker 1: And it's so good because it ties into what I'm hearing,

  Speaker 1: because worshiping is how you honor God, and honoring God is.

  Speaker 2: Another way a form of obeying God.

  Speaker 1: All right, And so when we think about Yes three

  Speaker 1: sixty five, we've been in Yes three sixty five all year. Yes,

  Speaker 1: as we made it half point this half point check

  Speaker 1: in clock it, clock it. We are checking in, so
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: de right before we get into it, how have these
• 6:53
  Speaker 1: months been for you?
• 6:55

  Speaker 2: Has twenty twenty five been like what you expected? Or

  Speaker 2: it has not? Actually?

  Speaker 1: So how can I describe it? So the last since
• 7:06
  Speaker 1: twenty twenty three, men, the Lord has been on this journey.

  Speaker 1: Really it's been literally a yes, yes type of journey
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: and me obeying him even when it don't make sense.
• 7:17
  Speaker 1: And what I'm learning that each year it was just different, right.
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: So the first year was like, Lord, I don't know
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: about this. Then you jump in and it's like you're
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: just trying to keep your head above water. Yeah, right,
• 7:28
  Speaker 1: And so this year has been more so seeing some
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: of the fruit of the obedience, you know what I'm saying.
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: And it's more so being healing, Like it's been the
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: internal things that you don't necessarily see on the outside
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: quite yet. Yeah. And I believe that's how God that
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: I believe. I know that's that's how God works. Like
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: he's concerned about the heart, he's concerned about your character.
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: So as we're going through these trials and these tribulations,
• 7:54
  Speaker 1: that's what they're meant to do. They're meant to, you know,
• 7:56
  Speaker 1: to test us, to put us through this fire, to
• 7:59
  Speaker 1: burn those things out that don't look like him.

  Speaker 2: Yeah.

  Speaker 1: So that as he's taken us to as we're journeying
• 8:04
  Speaker 1: along with him, he's taken us to the place, the
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: Promised Land. But in order to get to the promised
• 8:08
  Speaker 1: land and to be able to stay to the promised land,
• 8:09
  Speaker 1: we have to endure the journey, and the journey is
• 8:14
  Speaker 1: meant to process us.
• 8:16
  Speaker 2: That's good.
• 8:16
  Speaker 1: So this this particular year, it's still been yes, in obedience,
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: but in that I'm seeing some of the fruit from
• 8:23
  Speaker 1: the previous year come on, you know. Specifically, one that
• 8:27
  Speaker 1: that that just really touches my heart really good is
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: the relationship my dad. You know, twenty twenty three, we
• 8:34
  Speaker 1: weren't even really in a bad place, but I just
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: realized through this journey there was a broken little girl. Yeah,
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: that had made a lot of decisions for my adult
• 8:42
  Speaker 1: life based out of not wanting to be rejected, not
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: wanting to you know, be disappointed. So I really created
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: this this boundary and this shield around my life where
• 8:53
  Speaker 1: I didn't have to I felt like I didn't have
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: to depend on nobody. So this journey has really been
• 8:58
  Speaker 1: the Lord breaking that, breaking those walls in those boxes
• 9:00
  Speaker 1: so that I can depend on him and be able
• 9:02
  Speaker 1: to receive. Like like he has people, there's people in
• 9:05
  Speaker 1: this world that are assigned to us to help us
• 9:07
  Speaker 1: get where we want to go. But if we're not open,
• 9:11
  Speaker 1: if we're not open to the receive the help, we're
• 9:12
  Speaker 1: gonna miss it.
• 9:13
  Speaker 2: And so I've been journeying.
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: We've been on this journey with my dad, and if
• 9:18
  Speaker 1: I'm one hundred pent honest, I've If I'm honest, I've
• 9:20
  Speaker 1: never had this conversation with him, Like I've never told
• 9:23
  Speaker 1: him how I really, like truly felt, you.
• 9:24
  Speaker 2: Know what I'm saying.
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: Like, but this one particular situation in twenty three just
• 9:28
  Speaker 1: allowed the Lord to open my eyes to his heart
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: and who he was. You know, like as a little
• 9:33
  Speaker 1: girl like you loan like to have her dad there
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: to you know, hear him telling that the beautiful and
• 9:37
  Speaker 1: all these things and some of those pieces like he
• 9:40
  Speaker 1: was there in the best capacity that he could be there,
• 9:43
  Speaker 1: but some of those pieces just were missing. And so
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: these last couple of years, like I'm seeing my dad
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: like become more attentive, become more affectionate, and it's just.
• 9:54
  Speaker 2: Been so beautiful.
• 9:55
  Speaker 1: Even like when I talked to him the other day,
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: he said Danielle, because he called me Danielle. My whole side,

  Speaker 1: my whole dad's side of the family call me Danielle.

  Speaker 2: It's like, Danielle, You're just so beautiful. And I was like.
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: Just crying, crying, help my heart because I'm like, dang,
• 10:14
  Speaker 1: I don't I cannot remember when my dad has told
• 10:18
  Speaker 1: me I was beautiful. And it was like that little girl,
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: she just like jumping and she was exciting. I was like, man, Lord,
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: this whole if nothing else, this whole journey, as hard
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: as it's being, that was worth it. I just heard
• 10:28
  Speaker 1: the Lord say this for you. I heard the Lord
• 10:30
  Speaker 1: say that this has been a season of revitalization. And
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: it's like sometimes you you are the type of person
• 10:38
  Speaker 1: does a ray. What I've learned about you is that
• 10:40
  Speaker 1: you're the type of person that will allow something to
• 10:44
  Speaker 1: be like oh okay, and you walk away from it.
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: You don't necessarily deal with it, but you say you
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: kind of like keep it subconsciously and you try to
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: bury it. But God is like reviving places where you
• 10:56
  Speaker 1: like the necessary nutrition that you need. And I feel
• 10:59
  Speaker 1: like with your dad, he don't really know what's going
• 11:02
  Speaker 1: on with him. Almost I feel God on this, he
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: don't understand what's going on with him. But because you
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: made the decision to go with God and be obedient
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: to God and not be prideful, not even just in
• 11:14
  Speaker 1: that relationship, like you say, other things of impact other
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: things basically, and your decision to say, you know what, yes, God,
• 11:21
  Speaker 1: I don't know what this looked like. You didn't move
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: fifty times, you let go of the business. You know,
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: you just really decided on God, like real big. And
• 11:33
  Speaker 1: so I'm really excited for you because God is revitalizing
• 11:37
  Speaker 1: you first and now he can show you it's gonna
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: watch this. When we think about the Lord, and we
• 11:43
  Speaker 1: think about hey, Brad, when we think about the Lord,
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: and we think about the opportunities to expose ourselves and
• 11:52
  Speaker 1: have the tangible things, but what we don't realize is
• 11:54
  Speaker 1: it starts within us first. And so you had to
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: go through believing that God loves you, that God thought
• 12:01
  Speaker 1: that you were beautiful. But oh, this is so good.

  Speaker 1: So your father wasn't additive to your obedience. Jesus gone,
• 12:09
  Speaker 1: your father wasn't additive to you saying yes to God.

  Speaker 1: And sometimes listen, I'm sorry to tell you. Your mama don't

  Speaker 1: owe you nothing. Your daddy don't owe you. Nah, your

  Speaker 1: sisters don't owe you nothing. You you don't nobody owe

  Speaker 1: you anything. Right, we're doing community bloodline or not?

  Speaker 2: The ultimate blood line is the Kingdom blood line. Right.

  Speaker 1: And so when we think about people as people of

  Speaker 1: You experienced, you experienced giving something that has already been

  Speaker 1: given to you. Because the truth is, like, if you

  Speaker 1: think about it, even with your parents, they were God's

  Speaker 1: first Yeah you know what I'm saying, before they became parents,

  Speaker 1: And I think just life in general, if you really

  Speaker 1: just take a step back and if you look at

  Speaker 1: somebody's journey and their history.

  Speaker 2: It's like sometimes.

  Speaker 1: We're expecting something, yes, because hey, that our parents, but

  Speaker 1: the truth of the matter is there they may not

  Speaker 1: even have that themselves, you know. And so I think

  Speaker 1: that as we begin to receive the grace that we're
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: walking in, we can then give it back. So man,

  Speaker 1: it's been it's been really good. Uh and I and

  Speaker 1: I can see why this type of season was necessary because,

  Speaker 1: like I said, there's God knows our path, like things happen,

  Speaker 1: but the scripture says that, uh, he knows the plans

  Speaker 1: that he has for us, that to prosper us and
• 14:13
  Speaker 1: to give us hope in the future, and not to

  Speaker 1: hurt us into harm us even though it feel like

  Speaker 1: death sometimes if we're honest, right, no, like like I

  Speaker 1: feel like, okay, Like his plan is to give us
• 14:27
  Speaker 1: hope in a good future. So he's gonna make all

  Speaker 1: things work together.

  Speaker 1: And she said, God is on either side of the decision,

  Speaker 1: would just say, like, if you just literally look back

  Speaker 1: over your life, like even though you've probably gone through

  Speaker 1: some some some some heart some hard situations, some trials,

  Speaker 1: some ups and downs, at the end of the day,

  Speaker 1: if you're literally sitting there trying to make this decision,

  Speaker 1: I was at this point, I'm still learning how God

  Speaker 1: friends for two years. You would think that we've been

  Speaker 1: friends for ten the way we act like, but this

  Speaker 1: is like my sister, and we had to really learn

  Speaker 1: each other's communications, learn each other's temperaments. When I tell you,
