Fires Nearly Out Focus Shifts to Recovery | Salt Lake City News
Two massive fires near Eureka and Mammoth — the Iron and Cherry Fires — have scorched over 76,000 acres but are now nearly contained at 98% and 93% respectively. With the flames under control, crews are shifting to recovery: repairing damage on the Iron Fire site and ramping up efforts on the Cherry Fire. Once that’s done, patrols and repairs will follow.
