- 0:04Speaker 1: General, did you watch any Tony Fauci's testimony in the
- 0:08Speaker 1: Rand of the un Paul here, thank you the Rand
- 0:13Speaker 1: Paul hearing.
- 0:14Speaker 2: I did, thoughts well, first of all, there's a little
- 0:18Speaker 2: bit of misinformation going on. Everyone's saying that because he
- 0:21Speaker 2: was pardoned, he cannot take the Fifth Amendments. That's not
- 0:24Speaker 2: really true.
- 0:26Speaker 1: He was I agree with you that.
- 0:27Speaker 2: He was federally pardoned, and there's a lot of state
- 0:31Speaker 2: charges that could be brought. And if if if he
- 0:35Speaker 2: was talking to someone in Maryland over the phone and
- 0:37Speaker 2: then gave misinformation over the phone, you know that there
- 0:41Speaker 2: there could be a prosecution from the States.
- 0:43Speaker 3: So he is wise to.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Let's talk about that. So let's talk about let's talk
- 0:48Speaker 1: about that. So let's put our criminal defense layer's hat,
- 0:51Speaker 1: our criminal defense lawyer hats on. We don't spend a
- 0:53Speaker 1: lot of time on the show talking from the criminal
- 0:57Speaker 1: defense perspective. But Tony Fauci walks in to our office
- 1:02Speaker 1: and said, I have a subpoena to go testify before
- 1:06Speaker 1: the Senate, and it is a committee run by Rand
- 1:11Speaker 1: Paul and it has been his personal and senatorial mission.
- 1:18Speaker 3: To put me in jail.
- 1:21Speaker 1: You ha to pulverize me. Now, first question that every lawyer.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Here's what I do. I don't know about. I can't
- 1:27Speaker 1: speak to other criminal fencilers. What I do is I look,
- 1:29Speaker 1: I have two playbooks. Playbook A. Is I am actually
- 1:37Speaker 1: factually legally innocent. I'm telling you, as my my advisor,
- 1:45Speaker 1: my counselor my lawyer, my advocate. I'm telling you I
- 1:51Speaker 1: did not do anything illegally. I'm telling you in the
- 1:56Speaker 1: most serious form that I can. I'm not guilty. I'm not.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I'm talking about the sociopaths who can rationalize a legal conduct.
- 2:09Speaker 1: That's that's that's plan A. That's uh playbook A. Then
- 2:14Speaker 1: we have playbook B. Playbook B is I'm actually factually
- 2:20Speaker 1: legally guilty of some or all of what they're saying.
- 2:25Speaker 1: And I what I've done for thirty three years, and
- 2:29Speaker 1: I think this is the best way to handle as
- 2:31Speaker 1: a criminal fence layers I got I need to know.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I don't know you from I don't know you from Adam.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I don't know you. I don't know you at all.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I wasn't in the room when it happened. I don't know.
- 2:42Speaker 1: But I in order for me to apply my my
- 2:45Speaker 1: education training experience. I need to know which playbook are
- 2:50Speaker 1: we opening, Playbook A or playbook B. Playbook A, I'm
- 2:54Speaker 1: actually factually legally innocent, playbook B, I'm actually factually legally
- 2:59Speaker 1: guilty of some or all of what they are saying. Now,
- 3:07Speaker 1: if Anthony and I'm sure Fauci's has been referred Tony
- 3:12Speaker 1: Fauci has been referred to a lawyer. And I did
- 3:15Speaker 1: a real quick surface investigation on this lawyer and appears
- 3:21Speaker 1: to be a lawyer that has has some chops. I
- 3:25Speaker 1: don't know that they are I don't I don't know
- 3:28Speaker 1: if this guy kind of grew up in the in
- 3:29Speaker 1: the criminal court houses. A lot of guys who are
- 3:32Speaker 1: in the DC New York circuit, and you know this general.
- 3:35Speaker 1: These guys, they have one big case or two big cases,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and then they have a bunch of clients coming at them,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and they hire associates and they stop going to thank you.
- 3:46Speaker 1: They stopped going to court. Okay, they stopped going to court.
- 3:49Speaker 1: We know these guys, and it's tempting. But the best
- 3:54Speaker 1: lawyers criminal defenseler A, the ones that stay in the
- 3:57Speaker 1: courtroom you go do your her own work.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Got a sharper the knife, and.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I don't know if his lawyer is one of those guys.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I'd have to find out. When was the last time
- 4:06Speaker 1: you actually tried a criminal case to jury verdict?
- 4:09Speaker 3: That was Menendez? Okay, he was Bob Menendez.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Okay, So he's there, all right. So so Tony's with
- 4:16Speaker 1: the guy. He's with Tony Fauci. I'm not gonna come
- 4:19Speaker 1: to I'm not gonna call him doctor. I guess he
- 4:21Speaker 1: is a doctor, but I don't he's lost the honorific
- 4:24Speaker 1: for me. Anthony Fauci undoubtedly has talked to a handful
- 4:31Speaker 1: of lawyers and they've all shepherded him to this particular lawyer.
- 4:37Speaker 1: And according to my friend Senator Bernie Marino, who I
- 4:40Speaker 1: did communicate with shortly after he toasted Anthony Fauci, I
- 4:47Speaker 1: dropped the F bomb on him. And by the way,
- 4:50Speaker 1: I told Senator Marina, I go thank you from the
- 4:55Speaker 1: millions of us in America that knew this was BS
- 4:59Speaker 1: from the beginning, that we were being lied to, that
- 5:03Speaker 1: we were being that this issue alone fractured communities, families,
- 5:10Speaker 1: shut down schools. You know, we don't need to go
- 5:12Speaker 1: through the I don't need to go through the list
- 5:16Speaker 1: of Protestations. I'm not going to hammer them to and
- 5:19Speaker 1: nail them to the door like Martin Martin Luther did
- 5:23Speaker 1: to the Catholic Church. But dag on Bernie went, Senator
- 5:28Speaker 1: Marino went, said what needed to be set.
- 5:31Speaker 2: It's nice to be able to say Senator Bernie and
- 5:33Speaker 2: not mean Sanders.
- 5:34Speaker 1: That's right, Senator Bernie Marino from Ohio. And he said,
- 5:39Speaker 1: I don't think he would mind me saying this. He said,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I waited six years for those ten minutes. And I know.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I know that when he was private citizen Bernie Marino.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I know because I was involved in his campaign before
- 5:59Speaker 1: he even announced that he was going to run the
- 6:02Speaker 1: first time. Why are you doing this?
- 6:08Speaker 3: Why?
- 6:08Speaker 1: Why? You are a very successful man. You have a
- 6:13Speaker 1: lovely family, you have a lot of hay in the barn,
- 6:17Speaker 1: You've got businesses, You've got a lot going for you.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Why are you Why are you going to Why do
- 6:25Speaker 1: you want to go into public service? Why? The US Senate?
- 6:29Speaker 1: He said, Because it's going to take somebody with common
- 6:33Speaker 1: sense who can weather the storm, that can make it
- 6:37Speaker 1: to the point where I can be in the on
- 6:42Speaker 1: the floor of the Senate and I can put doctor
- 6:45Speaker 1: Falcacci under oath and ask him specific questions about the
- 6:51Speaker 1: origins of COVID gain of function research, which was which
- 6:57Speaker 1: was illegal in the United States. Were we subsidizing man
- 7:02Speaker 1: made viruses? How big of a role does the American
- 7:07Speaker 1: government have to play this? What exactly happened? Because for
- 7:13Speaker 1: Senator Marino, it was watching parents get handcuffed and let
- 7:18Speaker 1: off playing fields out there, kicking soccer ball with their kids,
- 7:22Speaker 1: trying to get outside and get some recreation. That put
- 7:25Speaker 1: him over the top. And that's when he said, you
- 7:30Speaker 1: got to have someone who's going to weather the storm,
- 7:33Speaker 1: that can go through it and self fund and make it.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And he did. And I've never been prouder to know
- 7:42Speaker 1: somebody other than my Navy Sealed Team six. Buddy. There
- 7:48Speaker 1: are very few men that I hold on a pedestal
- 7:51Speaker 1: for the sacrifices that they've made for the rest of us.
- 7:57Speaker 1: And he unites. State Senator Bernie Marino is one of
- 8:02Speaker 1: those very few.
- 8:03Speaker 2: And doesn't this really put the stink on all those
- 8:07Speaker 2: leftists who are out there saying that prosecutions and these
- 8:12Speaker 2: sorts of things are not political. Remember when they when
- 8:15Speaker 2: they took in Steve Steve Bannon and made sure that
- 8:19Speaker 2: he testified and all that sort of stuff. And when
- 8:22Speaker 2: he didn't come down to testify like they wanted him
- 8:24Speaker 2: to do it without the burden of a pardon, by
- 8:26Speaker 2: the way, or the having a pardon in his pocket,
- 8:29Speaker 2: that's they put him in jail for three years. They
- 8:32Speaker 2: didn't spend the whole three years in jail. He got out,
- 8:34Speaker 2: you know, for good time and all that.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Yeah, let's go back to what we were just talking about.
- 8:40Speaker 1: So Anthony Fauci, and I'm dropping the honorific of doctor
- 8:44Speaker 1: Anthony Fauci, gets shepherded over to this particular lawyer who
- 8:50Speaker 1: knows what he's doing. He's not a lawyer that had
- 8:54Speaker 1: a big case. And then you know, checked out. He's
- 8:57Speaker 1: actually in the court. He knows how the system works.
- 9:00Speaker 1: And go back to our playbooks, Playbook Gay, playbook B.
- 9:03Speaker 1: And I'm telling you that he's told his lawyer, I'm
- 9:09Speaker 1: actually factually legally guilty Playbook B. Because between the two playbooks,
- 9:16Speaker 1: if you're actually factually legally innocent, you go tell the
- 9:20Speaker 1: world that you're innocent. And as Reverend doctor Reverend Martin
- 9:26Speaker 1: Luther King Junior is in, the truth will set you free.
- 9:31Speaker 1: The truth will not convict you if the truth is
- 9:37Speaker 1: you didn't commit any crimes, welcome back to for the
- 9:43Speaker 1: defense of the American people. I am Attorney Brad Coaffel.
- 9:46Speaker 1: That is the snarkmaster General. We're talking about Anthony Fauci's
- 9:53Speaker 1: decision to go to court. He had to go to
- 9:55Speaker 1: he had to go to the Senate. He get I'm
- 9:58Speaker 1: curious how they got it served with the subpoena because
- 10:02Speaker 1: that's one of those You can't get to the US
- 10:04Speaker 1: Senate without a subpoena. I would have had I would
- 10:09Speaker 1: have had Tony Fauci on an indefinite vacation in someplace
- 10:15Speaker 1: on the other side of the world. At this point,
- 10:17Speaker 1: he's eighty five years old.
- 10:19Speaker 3: I don't know he's eighty five, is he No, let's look
- 10:22Speaker 3: that up.
- 10:23Speaker 1: We'll get back there. He's an old man. I don't
- 10:25Speaker 1: know if he's eighty five, but I would say I'd say, Tony,
- 10:29Speaker 1: get yourself a one way ticket to Switzerland, Vietnam, uh
- 10:37Speaker 1: Costa Rica, a boat in the middle of the Pacific.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Just get yourself a one way ticket and make your
- 10:44Speaker 1: and do not take service of any subpoena to appear
- 10:48Speaker 1: before the United States Senate don't even order a pizza,
- 10:51Speaker 1: don't do anything cash only, you know, just shave your head,
- 10:56Speaker 1: grow a beard. Whatever. Well, they got him served, wear
- 11:01Speaker 1: a mask. They got him served right, and so he
- 11:07Speaker 1: probably spent countless hours in his lawyer's office talking about
- 11:13Speaker 1: his non testimony. I mean those conversations. I'm gonna I'm
- 11:18Speaker 1: gonna put myself in the room between Tony Fauci and
- 11:20Speaker 1: his lawyer in the legal team. He's probably the type
- 11:25Speaker 1: of client that that is going to tell it's probably
- 11:28Speaker 1: a very difficult client. He's probably telling his lawyers. Look,
- 11:32Speaker 1: I can explain this, I can explain this. Just let
- 11:37Speaker 1: me talk. I can explain this.
- 11:39Speaker 2: They're going no, no, no, take your bottom lip and
- 11:43Speaker 2: press it firmly into your upper lip, and then we
- 11:46Speaker 2: can only hurt the ball club.
- 11:47Speaker 1: And we, as the criminal defense layers, we go, okay,
- 11:51Speaker 1: tell us what you would say. And he he, he
- 11:55Speaker 1: tries to talk and rationalize.
- 11:57Speaker 3: What he did when we have that little claqueson by, and.
- 12:01Speaker 1: He tries to explain away his diary. And you know,
- 12:04Speaker 1: there is a there's a narcissism, a trait that runs
- 12:10Speaker 1: through Anthony Fauci, and that narcissism trait that runs through
- 12:16Speaker 1: most of my clients who can't see reality. They can't
- 12:21Speaker 1: see that. Look. Not everybody loves you, Not everybody thinks
- 12:24Speaker 1: you're the truth teller. The jury is not going to
- 12:27Speaker 1: acquit you because they like you. The public's not going
- 12:31Speaker 1: to quit you because they like you. Tony. People no
- 12:34Speaker 1: longer trust you. Millions of Americans never trust you to
- 12:37Speaker 1: begin with. The other half of America is now woken
- 12:42Speaker 1: up and realized this really was what most of us,
- 12:46Speaker 1: what many of us said in the beginning, and on
- 12:49Speaker 1: this show. I went back and listened to our shows
- 12:51Speaker 1: from March and April and May of twenty twenty. In general,
- 12:55Speaker 1: we hit the nail on the head. We called it.
- 12:59Speaker 1: It doesn't take a rocket science to figure scientists to
- 13:01Speaker 1: figure out that maybe this, uh, this this virus that
- 13:07Speaker 1: had not yet jumped from the in the animal kingdom
- 13:11Speaker 1: over to the human being, that maybe it did come
- 13:15Speaker 1: from the lab that was studying how it might mutate
- 13:20Speaker 1: to a human being.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Well.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I was in Hershey, Pennsylvania once, and I saw all
- 13:24Speaker 2: these Hurshey bars everywhere. It just it was it was
- 13:27Speaker 2: a strange coincidence that they also had a Hershey bar
- 13:30Speaker 2: making factory.
- 13:31Speaker 1: There. So Anthony Fauci sits before the Senate Committee Senate
- 13:37Speaker 1: Committee and repeatedly declines to answer questions on Fifth Amendment grounds.
- 13:41Speaker 1: He had no choice because he got served. The biggest,
- 13:44Speaker 1: the biggest when he lost is when he got served
- 13:49Speaker 1: with the subpoena. He no doubt his lawyers had to
- 13:53Speaker 1: have told him, Tony, get out of town, get out
- 13:56Speaker 1: of the country, one way ticket. No no, no, no,
- 14:00Speaker 1: oh no, he gets served. Well, once you're served, you
- 14:03Speaker 1: got to show up. As you already mentioned, Steve Bannon
- 14:07Speaker 1: and others, they've already set the president.
- 14:10Speaker 3: You who else set the president on this?
- 14:12Speaker 2: Were all these newscasters who when Donald Trump took the
- 14:15Speaker 2: Fifth Amendment several times during a deposition, again without the
- 14:19Speaker 2: benefit of a pardon, they said that Fifth Amendments only
- 14:22Speaker 2: for criminals.
- 14:22Speaker 1: That's right.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Now, all of a sudden, it shoes on the other foot,
- 14:25Speaker 2: it's for everybody else.
- 14:26Speaker 1: So he gets served, which was failure number one. He
- 14:31Speaker 1: shows up and invokes the Fifth That's the only thing
- 14:34Speaker 1: it could have done. He couldn't concede that there was
- 14:38Speaker 1: carpet on the floor, He couldn't concede that he was
- 14:40Speaker 1: wearing a tie. He wouldn't even look around behind him,
- 14:45Speaker 1: as Senator Marino asked him to do, just turn around
- 14:47Speaker 1: and look at the people who were deep platforms censored
- 14:51Speaker 1: lost their credentials because of what you were saying into
- 14:55Speaker 1: your celebrity megaphone.
- 14:57Speaker 2: He should have bought Dave Chappelle in there with him
- 14:59Speaker 2: to plead the fifth Remember that that's.
- 15:01Speaker 1: A great, great skit. Great skitwith his performance may yet
- 15:06Speaker 1: produce a criminal referral. Now let me let me mention
- 15:10Speaker 1: this about criminal referrals. American people, we're tired of hearing
- 15:12Speaker 1: about criminal referrals. We want to see convictions in prison. Well,
- 15:16Speaker 1: it starts with a referral, but right, and then they
- 15:19Speaker 1: go to die. A criminal referral is where federalized, a
- 15:23Speaker 1: criminal conduct that gets federalized goes to die. Criminal referrals
- 15:30Speaker 1: is where criminal conduct that gets federalized goes to die.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Who goes to prison? Bob and Anddez went to prison,
- 15:41Speaker 1: uh and.
- 15:42Speaker 3: And Steve Bannon.
- 15:43Speaker 1: When you get caught, Bob, when you actually get caught
- 15:47Speaker 1: with gold bars from Egypt, the proof of the bribery
- 15:52Speaker 1: is right there. It took gold bars.
- 15:54Speaker 3: In gold bars in the pockets of fur coats, it took.
- 15:59Speaker 1: That level of unsophistication. When you're that brazen, that means
- 16:06Speaker 1: that this has been going on a very very long time.
- 16:09Speaker 3: See, the Clintons did it right. They started a foundation.
- 16:12Speaker 1: You got to run it all through foundation.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Right, and then you just get all the benefits of
- 16:15Speaker 2: the foundation. If the foundation has a condo that looks
- 16:18Speaker 2: out over Malibu, than.
- 16:19Speaker 3: There you are.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I don't know if we're going to have I don't
- 16:22Speaker 1: know how many more shows we're going to have to do,
- 16:25Speaker 1: but eventually it's going to click for everyone. It's going
- 16:30Speaker 1: to click, and they're going to realize that the centralization
- 16:34Speaker 1: of power over centuries has shown that the for profit
- 16:40Speaker 1: commercial interests mixed with political centralized power equals corruption over
- 16:49Speaker 1: its own people. It's just a matter of time. They
- 16:52Speaker 1: take our money to do their pet projects of which
- 16:58Speaker 1: they benefit directly or directly somehow.
- 17:01Speaker 3: And some of it may be stuff they believe in.
- 17:03Speaker 1: They take our they take our boys and young women
- 17:09Speaker 1: to go fight their wars. Right there is This has
- 17:13Speaker 1: been going on since the age of Empire. For the
- 17:17Speaker 1: last five or six hundred years, every imperial every empire
- 17:23Speaker 1: wanna be Starting in Spain, Portugal, the Dutch Republic, England
- 17:32Speaker 1: slash Great Britain. It's all been a for profit incentive.
- 17:38Speaker 1: And then they get cloaked with the Royal Charter or
- 17:42Speaker 1: they can sail under the flag of their country and
- 17:46Speaker 1: they get some sort of political immunity from their criminal wrongdoings.
- 17:52Speaker 1: And this has been going on since Christopher Columbus chopped
- 17:57Speaker 1: off the hands of the of the naked and afraid
- 18:00Speaker 1: indigenous tribes that came to greet team to greet the
- 18:05Speaker 1: ships down on the Caribbean. The the in the name
- 18:11Speaker 1: of the people, in the name of the crown. Now
- 18:15Speaker 1: it's in the name of the people. Crimes are committed daily,
- 18:20Speaker 1: but the only people that actually get convicted are the
- 18:25Speaker 1: schmucks like Menendez that has gold bars and there. You know,
- 18:32Speaker 1: every other senator is like, oh, don't come looking over here, Please,
- 18:35Speaker 1: don't come looking over here. Every senator and congressman has been.
- 18:39Speaker 1: They were holding their breath. Please Bob, plead guilty, Bob,
- 18:43Speaker 1: Please please Bob, don't testify, pop, please take the deal. Right, So,
- 18:49Speaker 1: what has Donald Trump done? He is King Kong and
- 18:54Speaker 1: he's come into Manhattan and he's just he's destroying And
- 18:59Speaker 1: that's what we loved about it. I didn't like King
- 19:01Speaker 1: Kong in the beginning. I didn't like Trump in the beginning,
- 19:03Speaker 1: but I saw what he was doing. He was a
- 19:05Speaker 1: giant wrecking machine. Now the question is he is he
- 19:13Speaker 1: rowing his own boat on the river of power and
- 19:17Speaker 1: financial incentive and financial riches. Nope, great argument can be
- 19:24Speaker 1: made there. But I want to get back to Fauci
- 19:27Speaker 1: and I want to get back to the summer of
- 19:28Speaker 1: twenty twenty. Because of major issue, a major, major heart
- 19:32Speaker 1: attack happened in American society. We're not no one's talking about,
- 19:35Speaker 1: and I want to talk about that next on Brad Kaufell.
- 19:38Speaker 1: For the defense of the American people in general, is
- 19:45Speaker 1: there anyone in particular we should thank for picking up
- 19:49Speaker 1: the production costs of our show.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Give me anybody. Let me think of some people. They're
- 19:55Speaker 3: sly north of here.
- 19:57Speaker 2: They believe in America, they believe in the American way,
- 20:01Speaker 2: they believe in capitalism.
- 20:02Speaker 1: They believe in America using a.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Good product at a good price.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Doing what they You say you're going to do. One
- 20:11Speaker 1: of those people.
- 20:12Speaker 2: One of those people, and they've got a lot of
- 20:15Speaker 2: cars for sale up there.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Uh chess, run chess.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Yes, these are these are that it's a c H E.
- 20:23Speaker 3: S R O W N.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I saw you had to close your eyes somewhere, concentrate
- 20:29Speaker 1: and not get it wrong. I keep putting keep a
- 20:31Speaker 1: Q in there. Thank you, the Gill family. And I'm
- 20:38Speaker 1: on a text thread. I've got a handful of text
- 20:40Speaker 1: threads with some uh people that I respect and trust
- 20:46Speaker 1: and thank god I got our little community. And Ryan
- 20:51Speaker 1: Gill is on one of the text threads. And I
- 20:53Speaker 1: tell you what if if you if you don't trust
- 20:58Speaker 1: anything coming out of the media, you don't trust anything
- 21:02Speaker 1: coming out of DC, and you want to support a
- 21:06Speaker 1: small business, an American small business, get up to chuz
- 21:09Speaker 1: around and do your car shopping up there, used and
- 21:13Speaker 1: new I am. I can't say enough about them. Thank
- 21:17Speaker 1: you very much, wonderful, wonderful family. Now back to Anthony Fauci.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I'm dropping doctor. He loses the honorific with me. Here's
- 21:30Speaker 1: what has happened. Anthony Fauci sits before that Senate committee
- 21:37Speaker 1: invokes the fifth over one hundred times. There may still
- 21:41Speaker 1: be a criminal referral for obstructing Congress. We don't care
- 21:45Speaker 1: about criminal referrals. He's eighty five. The guy ain't going
- 21:50Speaker 1: to prison, right, And as much as I detest how
- 21:57Speaker 1: he handled and what he did and what he said,
- 22:00Speaker 1: and I don't, he doesn't belong in prison. And he's
- 22:09Speaker 1: eighty five. If he was sixty five or fifty five
- 22:12Speaker 1: or you know, maybe, but eighty five. What's happening to
- 22:16Speaker 1: Anthony Fauci's being punished now, and the purpose of criminal
- 22:22Speaker 1: justice system is to punish. That's happening, to rehabilitate. He's
- 22:28Speaker 1: eighty five. There's no rehabilitation, and to deter others. I'm
- 22:33Speaker 1: hoping that what's happening is that the federal system of
- 22:41Speaker 1: being able to get into Congress and trade on inside information,
- 22:49Speaker 1: that that business is over. I'm hoping that the federal
- 22:53Speaker 1: bureaucrats who want to come out like Anthony Fauci did
- 23:00Speaker 1: and say this is science, trust the science and the
- 23:04Speaker 1: American people, and the next time are not going to
- 23:07Speaker 1: be so quick to say, okay, okay.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Well, it wasn't just trust the science. It was how
- 23:12Speaker 2: dare you question me?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Well? It was the technic It was what we got
- 23:17Speaker 1: was a big lesson in technocracy, technocrats and technocracy, and
- 23:22Speaker 1: the technocrats managed the American pandemic response. It was Fauci
- 23:26Speaker 1: who ascended to the status of secular saint. The guy
- 23:30Speaker 1: was on vote of candles, you know, his image was
- 23:33Speaker 1: on vote of candles, on socks.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Tote bags, not anymore.
- 23:36Speaker 1: On people who politically pride themselves on skepticism toward authority.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I think we need to say this was the flip flop.
- 23:49Speaker 1: This is worth sitting with because it is genuinely strange.
- 23:54Speaker 1: The progressive left is supposed to distrust unaccountable state power.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Yet here was a career bureaucrat immune to elections, exercising
- 24:04Speaker 1: more practical control over the daily lives of Americans than
- 24:08Speaker 1: perhaps any unelected official in memory. And a significant part
- 24:14Speaker 1: of the political left responded with devotion.
- 24:19Speaker 2: There's no other word for it. When you were walking
- 24:22Speaker 2: down the aisles of your local Kroger and they had
- 24:26Speaker 2: arrows on the floor telling you which way you should
- 24:29Speaker 2: walk in that in that aisle, as if the way
- 24:32Speaker 2: you walked was going to keep you from getting COVID.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Yep, And I'm I'm going to jump to There's a
- 24:38Speaker 1: word that I want to I'm going to jump to,
- 24:40Speaker 1: and it's called epistemology. Epistemology and epistemology is thinking about
- 24:47Speaker 1: you think about it this way. It's a big word
- 24:48Speaker 1: e p I s t e m O l o
- 24:53Speaker 1: g yologize. Ology means the study of and epistome ep
- 25:00Speaker 1: e t e m e is Greek for knowledge, So
- 25:04Speaker 1: this is literally the study of knowledge, study of how
- 25:08Speaker 1: you gain your knowledge. So think about it this way.
- 25:12Speaker 1: You believe a lot of things. You believe the earth orbits,
- 25:14Speaker 1: the sun. You've never personally done an experiment. You believe
- 25:20Speaker 1: it's going to rain tomorrow. You believe we land it
- 25:22Speaker 1: on the moon. Epistemology is the branch of philosophy that
- 25:26Speaker 1: asks how do you actually know that? What makes it
- 25:29Speaker 1: a fact versus something you feel is just is true?
- 25:33Speaker 1: So epistemology digs into questions like what's the difference between
- 25:37Speaker 1: really knowing something and just believing it?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Well, iin Ram said, epistemology is a is a that's
- 25:45Speaker 2: you've got to start there.
- 25:47Speaker 3: You can't.
- 25:47Speaker 2: You have to have definitions for things that you can't
- 25:51Speaker 2: just go redefining your your your way around like this,
- 25:54Speaker 2: what is a man?
- 25:55Speaker 3: What is a woman?
- 25:56Speaker 1: This a is a And this is where the American
- 25:59Speaker 1: this is where the bosses the American people, This is
- 26:01Speaker 1: where we failed. I've give us I give our country
- 26:05Speaker 1: an F for the last six years, well certainly twenty
- 26:09Speaker 1: twenty one, twenty two an F because we're the bosses,
- 26:16Speaker 1: We're the ones in control, and we have ceded so
- 26:19Speaker 1: much to the centralization of power. And here's a question
- 26:24Speaker 1: almost nobody asked themselves consistently over the last six years.
- 26:28Speaker 1: How do I actually know this is true? Does the
- 26:32Speaker 1: answer change depending upon who told me.
- 26:36Speaker 3: So?
- 26:36Speaker 1: This is where we get the division between CNN and Fox, MSNBC,
- 26:42Speaker 1: and the independent podcast World, the conservative podcast not. Is
- 26:49Speaker 1: this claim consistent with what my side believes? Not? Does
- 26:55Speaker 1: the person saying this seem trustworthy in subtribal sense? But
- 27:00Speaker 1: much narrower, the much harder question, what is the chain
- 27:04Speaker 1: of evidence connecting Anthony Fauci's claim to reality to truth?
- 27:10Speaker 1: And would I believe it if the exact same chain
- 27:13Speaker 1: of evidence came from a source I distrusted. That's where
- 27:18Speaker 1: America failed. We stopped questioning the sources of the information,
- 27:26Speaker 1: and almost know on on either side, the right or
- 27:28Speaker 1: the left, actually ran an epistemology test. What we ran
- 27:34Speaker 1: instead was a loyalty to test disguised as an evidence test.
- 27:38Speaker 1: If the CDC said it, a large percentage of the
- 27:42Speaker 1: country updated themselves towards believing it, not because they'd independently
- 27:48Speaker 1: assessed the CDC's track record, but because the CDC was
- 27:52Speaker 1: for them a trusted source proxy. If Fox News said it,
- 27:58Speaker 1: a different, large percentage of country updated their belief system
- 28:02Speaker 1: the same way for the same reason, with the brand
- 28:05Speaker 1: simply swapped. In neither case was anyone actually doing epistemology.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Millions of Americans were doing tribal pattern matching thinking it
- 28:16Speaker 1: was critical thinking. They were calling it critical thinking. It's
- 28:18Speaker 1: not critical thinking. That was the failure. And this is
- 28:22Speaker 1: what we've tried to do on our show General over
- 28:25Speaker 1: the last decade is to not engage in tribal pattern matching,
- 28:29Speaker 1: but engage in critical thinking. And the failure to think
- 28:33Speaker 1: critically independently is the actual failure of the American people
- 28:40Speaker 1: in mass over the last six years. I'm not saying
- 28:45Speaker 1: trusting a source is not in itself irrational. Nobody General
- 28:50Speaker 1: has the time or expertise to independently verify every claim
- 28:54Speaker 1: out there, So you must rely on institutions. We must
- 28:58Speaker 1: rely on experts. It's a reasonable shortcut, and the first
- 29:03Speaker 1: shortcut we all got to with COVID was what about
- 29:07Speaker 1: herd immunity? What about mask efficacy? What about the origins
- 29:12Speaker 1: of the virus?
- 29:13Speaker 3: What about common sense?
- 29:15Speaker 1: Those three came timestamped with a political persuasion the progressive left,
- 29:22Speaker 1: and once the progressive left time stamped it, its actual
- 29:26Speaker 1: EVIDENCEI your equality became almost irrelevant to how it was received. Well.
- 29:31Speaker 2: There were signs of this back when the CDC was
- 29:34Speaker 2: quoting gun studies and saying that guns were a health problem.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Guns aren't germs, they're not viruses, they're not well.
- 29:43Speaker 1: This is called source blindness. It's not ignorance of where
- 29:49Speaker 1: information comes from, but a refusal to let the answer
- 29:53Speaker 1: to that question do any real work beyond signaling which
- 29:58Speaker 1: side you believe. It is self reinforcing. Once you've accepted
- 30:03Speaker 1: a claim because your tribe is vouched for it, encountering
- 30:07Speaker 1: contrary evidence is not new information. It has to be repelled.
- 30:19Speaker 1: What the American people need to take away from the
- 30:22Speaker 1: last six years is question the source of the information.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Question the source. We trusted the sources of information way
- 30:33Speaker 1: too much. We trusted the institutions, we trusted the experts,
- 30:39Speaker 1: When the millions of us rational thinkers, we're looking at
- 30:46Speaker 1: the other half of the country also rational thinkers, and
- 30:51Speaker 1: we're saying, uh, will you please look at the evidence
- 30:57Speaker 1: behind herd immunity? Heard immunity seems to make sense. Will
- 31:01Speaker 1: you please look at these for a long time? Lack
- 31:04Speaker 1: of efficacy of cloth masks? Please? Will you please look
- 31:09Speaker 1: at the efficacy of six foot social distancing? Please? This
- 31:15Speaker 1: is not a political conversation. This is a epistemological conversation.
- 31:21Speaker 1: It is a study of your knowledge. Where are you
- 31:26Speaker 1: getting your information that cloth masks work? Where are you
- 31:30Speaker 1: getting your information that herd immunity won't work here? Where
- 31:35Speaker 1: are you getting your information that sick that six foot
- 31:39Speaker 1: that six feet social distancing has some scientific.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Basis When they admitted it didn't.
- 31:46Speaker 1: It doesn't. There isn't. And that's why the one half
- 31:50Speaker 1: of the country went mad and the other half of
- 31:54Speaker 1: the country got mad at that country at the other
- 31:57Speaker 1: half going mad. People lost their minds ear And then
- 32:02Speaker 1: you factor in the George Floyd riot, George Floyd situation
- 32:06Speaker 1: that was right on top of COVID, that was a
- 32:08Speaker 1: summer twenty twenty. George Floyd was George Floyd's death needed
- 32:18Speaker 1: to be litigated through the rules of evidence in a
- 32:21Speaker 1: public jury trial. It was litigated and Derek Chauvin was
- 32:27Speaker 1: found guilty as he should have been. George Floyd also
- 32:32Speaker 1: stood for systemic racism and that what happened while we
- 32:39Speaker 1: are in the state of flux with COVID and the
- 32:43Speaker 1: institutional thinking is that systemic racism is also ever present
- 32:50Speaker 1: and all powerful and must be eradicated, and it starts
- 32:56Speaker 1: with white races. And so many of us who were
- 33:04Speaker 1: born with white skin, Caucasian skin, wanted to look at
- 33:09Speaker 1: the George Floyd case homicide as it was. Let's charged
- 33:14Speaker 1: as a homicide, and it was homicide from the first
- 33:17Speaker 1: time I saw the first time I watched the body
- 33:19Speaker 1: cam or the phone cam like that is that's reckless.
- 33:24Speaker 1: What was happening?
- 33:25Speaker 2: You know?
- 33:26Speaker 1: He he should not have died. I have zero, zero
- 33:30Speaker 1: issues with Jerry's verdict.
- 33:31Speaker 2: I got a lot of issues with it. He was
- 33:33Speaker 2: a he had way too he had so much ventanyl
- 33:36Speaker 2: in his system. It would have killed a horse. There's
- 33:39Speaker 2: no way they could have gotten him out of that situation.
- 33:41Speaker 1: He was. But here's the thing they here's the good thing,
- 33:46Speaker 1: here's what saves us. The case was presented very well
- 33:50Speaker 1: by both sides the state of Minnesota, and his lawyer
- 33:54Speaker 1: did a bang up job and he was found guilty.
- 33:58Speaker 1: So at this goes to epistemology. I subscribe to the
- 34:04Speaker 1: belief that once the jury says he's guilty, it's a
- 34:08Speaker 1: matter of fact. He's guilty, a matter of legal fact.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Right now, what happened with George Floyd is that mayors
- 34:19Speaker 1: of these big cities decided to politicize the George Floyd homicide,
- 34:28Speaker 1: the George Floyd death, and we started getting into discussions
- 34:36Speaker 1: of defunding the police departments.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Which is now metastasized into abolishing the police department.
- 34:44Speaker 1: And so those of us who those of the millions
- 34:47Speaker 1: of Americans whose minds were already blown about herd immunity,
- 34:56Speaker 1: cloth masks, six foot social distancing, closing the schools, and
- 35:03Speaker 1: now we're gonna say, because of George Floyd's death, we
- 35:07Speaker 1: need to abolish, we need to defund police departments. And wow,
- 35:14Speaker 1: I mean, you couldn't You could not have put a
- 35:19Speaker 1: bigger you couldn't have injected into America in the summer
- 35:25Speaker 1: of twenty twenty more cultural Marxism. It was a brilliant
- 35:32Speaker 1: whoever was behind all this brilliant, brilliant, and I don't
- 35:37Speaker 1: think it was one conniming, you know, James bond Villain effort.
- 35:44Speaker 1: It was a group effort. It for sure was a
- 35:46Speaker 1: group effort.
- 35:47Speaker 2: And we even had a baseline. South Dakota never closed
- 35:50Speaker 2: their schools.
- 35:51Speaker 1: It was a baseline. I'm sorry it was a group effort.
- 35:55Speaker 1: But I'll tell you there's still a part of me
- 35:58Speaker 1: that believes it goes back to the unwanted, unwelcome, non
- 36:05Speaker 1: consensual election of Donald Trump in twenty sixteen. The system,
- 36:13Speaker 1: the federal system got assaulted by Donald Trump. They didn't
- 36:20Speaker 1: consent to him coming in. They didn't want him in. Uh,
- 36:25Speaker 1: that was an unwelcome, unwanted, non consensual assault on the
- 36:31Speaker 1: on the federal system and their party, not their political party,
- 36:37Speaker 1: their party and every their uniparty and everything there were then.
- 36:47Speaker 1: And the chips, the chips fell where they may. You could.
- 36:51Speaker 1: You either saw what was going on or you didn't.
- 36:55Speaker 1: And if you didn't see what was going on, shame
- 37:00Speaker 1: on you. And if you still don't see what's going on,
- 37:04Speaker 1: shame on you. What's that saying, general, fool me once.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice? Shame
- 37:11Speaker 3: on me.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Eventually, maybe it'll be our grandkids, maybe it'll be a
- 37:18Speaker 1: generation after that. Eventually, the truth is going to come
- 37:21Speaker 1: out that the entire sixty four square miles of the
- 37:27Speaker 1: village of the District of Columbia is a corrupt, corrosive
- 37:36Speaker 1: ecosystem of American.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Eco or ecosystem both.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Of a modern day feudalism with nobles and lords, and
- 37:50Speaker 1: they live lavishly and the entire system supports their special
- 37:58Speaker 1: interests and them and not the peasant, not the working class,
- 38:03Speaker 1: and not the people. And look, I'm a one percenter,
- 38:07Speaker 1: I'm a I'm economically I'm the top one percent. I'm
- 38:10Speaker 1: a middle aged white guy, lawyer, highly educated, a student.
- 38:17Speaker 1: I think I'm objective. And I'm telling you this is
- 38:22Speaker 1: this system has been great to me and my family.
- 38:25Speaker 1: It's been great. It's been great to the Kffels. But
- 38:29Speaker 1: I'm telling you it's a it's an empire, and it's
- 38:32Speaker 1: an imperial city, it's an imperial nation. And at some
- 38:40Speaker 1: point in time, Yeah, the check's going to come down.
- 38:44Speaker 1: At some point in time, the bill is coming. The
- 38:49Speaker 1: bill is coming, and someone's going to pay for it.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Someone's going to pay for this that's been going on,
- 38:57Speaker 1: and it's gonna be it's going to be our kids
- 39:00Speaker 1: or their kids or their grandkids, but someone's gonna pay
- 39:06Speaker 1: m
