Dash Crushes Drive with Eight-Run Eighth | Greenville News
The Winston-Salem Dash pulled off a jaw-dropping comeback, exploding for eight runs in the bottom of the eighth to crush the Greenville Drive 12-4. After a tense, score-tied battle, the Dash surged with Alex Ungar’s two-run drive, a wild pitch, walks, and Kaleb Freeman’s clutch bases-loaded walk — capped by James Taussig’s two-run double. Freeman’s three RBIs, including a game-tying homer, led the charge, while Tanner McDougal and Jake Curtis anchored the bullpen. The eighth inning wasn’t just a turning point — it was a statement.
