- 0:04Speaker 1: My name is Victor Furman. Some call me the Voice.
- 0:09Speaker 1: I've always been fascinated with human nature, spirituality, science and
- 0:15Speaker 1: the crossroads at which they meet. Join me now and
- 0:18Speaker 1: we will explore these topics and so much more with
- 0:22Speaker 1: fascinating guests, authors and experts who will guide us to
- 0:28Speaker 1: Destination Unlimited. How may channeling and soul to soul communication
- 0:38Speaker 1: enhance our confidence and self trust, improve our relationships, clarify
- 0:44Speaker 1: our soul's purpose, and help us find our way to
- 0:47Speaker 1: laughter and joy. My guest this week on Destination Unlimited,
- 0:52Speaker 1: Stephanie Banks, found this path through conscious channeling. Stephanie Banks
- 0:57Speaker 1: is a highly sought after intuitive channel mentor and guide
- 1:01Speaker 1: who helps people connect on the soul level. She channels
- 1:05Speaker 1: from the perspective of any soul currently on the planet,
- 1:09Speaker 1: souls on the other side purely non physical beings such
- 1:13Speaker 1: as spirit guides, as well as trees, animals, and gaia.
- 1:17Speaker 1: When her mother's dementia made verbal communication impossible, Stephanie found
- 1:22Speaker 1: ways to communicate with her mother's soul. This was the
- 1:26Speaker 1: beginning of her channeling journey. As a conscious channel, Stephanie
- 1:30Speaker 1: is both the vessel to receive the message as well
- 1:33Speaker 1: as a guide to provide depth and context for the
- 1:36Speaker 1: information coming through. She uses her keen sense of humor, love,
- 1:41Speaker 1: and compassion to join her clients in their spiritual experience.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Stephanie also mentors clients in discerning their own inner voice
- 1:50Speaker 1: of wisdom. She's the author of the bestseller Joining Jonie,
- 1:54Speaker 1: Staying Connected to Your loved One through Dementia and Beyond.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Her website is so insight dot com and she joins
- 2:02Speaker 1: me this week to share her amazing path and discoveries.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Please join me in welcoming to Destination Unlimited Stephanie Banks. Welcome, Stephanie, Hi.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Victor, thank you for having me. I'm really excited for
- 2:16Speaker 2: our conversation today.
- 2:17Speaker 1: And thank you for joining us and sharing your path
- 2:20Speaker 1: and experience. Please share with us your path and callings
- 2:24Speaker 1: before channeling came into your life.
- 2:27Speaker 2: M well, it was pretty mundane. Channeling changes everything. Everything
- 2:34Speaker 2: becomes more magical and beautiful and profound. But prior to
- 2:38Speaker 2: my discovering this aspect that all of us have to
- 2:42Speaker 2: be able to connect to define energy and wisdom, I
- 2:46Speaker 2: was a speech language pathologist working in hospitals with medically
- 2:50Speaker 2: fragile infants and adolescence. Doing my thing, I am a
- 2:56Speaker 2: mother of three. I was raised in a very typical household,
- 3:02Speaker 2: I would say, and so really nothing out of the
- 3:05Speaker 2: ordinary except for my deep connection to the natural world.
- 3:08Speaker 2: So I spoke to trees and animals. I sort of
- 3:12Speaker 2: figured everybody else did too, but now I know that's
- 3:15Speaker 2: not the case.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Absolutely. Did you have any intuitive experiences before channeling opened
- 3:23Speaker 1: up for you?
- 3:24Speaker 2: I'm sure I did, but there really isn't anything that
- 3:28Speaker 2: stood out for me that I could say, Oh, that
- 3:30Speaker 2: very moment was my awakening. In terms of this, it
- 3:34Speaker 2: was really a friendship that opened the world of channeling
- 3:37Speaker 2: to me. I met a best friend who was a
- 3:41Speaker 2: professional channel and that's the very first exposure I had
- 3:44Speaker 2: to this world of work, and it did change my
- 3:48Speaker 2: life from that point forward.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Tell us the story behind your book, Joining Jonie, Staying
- 3:54Speaker 1: connected to your loved one through dementia and beyond.
- 3:58Speaker 2: That book sort of wrote itself through me. It's a
- 4:02Speaker 2: practical story, share and guide for anybody who has this
- 4:08Speaker 2: face with the challenge of supporting a loved one who
- 4:12Speaker 2: has dementia or really any cognitive disorder that is progressive
- 4:17Speaker 2: in nature. My mother had a type of dementia that
- 4:20Speaker 2: affected young people her symptoms probably started in her late forties,
- 4:26Speaker 2: and they were not so great at diagnosing this type
- 4:29Speaker 2: of dementia back then, so they kept saying she had
- 4:33Speaker 2: depression or anxiety, and so she was being medicated for
- 4:37Speaker 2: that instead of you really looking at what the underlying
- 4:40Speaker 2: issue was. So by the time we discovered she actually
- 4:44Speaker 2: had dementia, she was fairly involved in the process of it,
- 4:48Speaker 2: and our relationship was really suffering as a result. As
- 4:53Speaker 2: you know, I think most people have know somebody or
- 4:56Speaker 2: have been personally touched by dementia. It's very common. Alzheimer's
- 5:01Speaker 2: is included with different types of dementias, and it becomes
- 5:06Speaker 2: very difficult to maintain one's connection with the person who
- 5:11Speaker 2: is experiencing that. There are personality changes, There's difficulty with
- 5:16Speaker 2: concentration and attention, of course, memory involvement. And I was
- 5:21Speaker 2: noticing that my connection with my mother was really suffering,
- 5:25Speaker 2: and even though I had all this clinical background and
- 5:28Speaker 2: experience in speech pathology, it wasn't working on her. It
- 5:33Speaker 2: was actually more of a disservice to our relationship for
- 5:37Speaker 2: me to try to apply my clinical knowledge. So I
- 5:40Speaker 2: asked my best friend if she would please channel my
- 5:42Speaker 2: mother's soul and she did. And through that experience, those
- 5:47Speaker 2: multiple experiences, I was able to understand more of what
- 5:50Speaker 2: my mom needed from me. So I wrote a book,
- 5:53Speaker 2: not necessarily based on the spiritual aspect of it, but
- 5:57Speaker 2: in showing people how they can actually joining their loved
- 6:01Speaker 2: one in their own experience without trying to pull them
- 6:05Speaker 2: out of their world and sort of force them into hours.
- 6:09Speaker 2: And that's what the book is really about.
- 6:12Speaker 1: And what lessons did you learn in communicating with your
- 6:15Speaker 1: mother's soul, Well.
- 6:18Speaker 2: She was very forthcoming about all the things I was
- 6:21Speaker 2: doing wrong, so I am grateful for that. One of
- 6:28Speaker 2: the things I learned was that in my efforts to protect,
- 6:34Speaker 2: or what I thought was protect my father, I was
- 6:37Speaker 2: actually getting in the way of their sole agreement, their
- 6:41Speaker 2: sole relationship. So one of the things my mother's soul
- 6:45Speaker 2: imparted to me was that I really needed to stay
- 6:47Speaker 2: in my own lane. I had a relationship with her
- 6:50Speaker 2: that was separate and apart from the relationship she had
- 6:54Speaker 2: with my father, of course, and when I would try
- 6:56Speaker 2: to intervene, even if it was from the most well
- 7:00Speaker 2: meaning place, it was disrupting what their dynamic was. And
- 7:06Speaker 2: so I really I learned to step back from that
- 7:10Speaker 2: and really allow for them to have whatever journey they
- 7:14Speaker 2: were meant to have, and just work on how I
- 7:16Speaker 2: could support my mom and how I could also make
- 7:18Speaker 2: sure my own needs were getting met within the context
- 7:22Speaker 2: of a relationship that was very strained. I also learned
- 7:26Speaker 2: from her that it's just like I said a moment ago,
- 7:31Speaker 2: it's not such a kind thing to do to bring
- 7:35Speaker 2: someone out of their whatever is their reality, especially the
- 7:39Speaker 2: person who has dementia or Alzheimer's. And so if my
- 7:42Speaker 2: mother was insistent that she needed to wear a sweater
- 7:45Speaker 2: and it was ninety five degrees outside, which is pretty
- 7:48Speaker 2: typical where we live, then I just go get her
- 7:51Speaker 2: sweater instead of trying to, you know, orient her to
- 7:56Speaker 2: the fact that that's not a good idea or it's
- 7:58Speaker 2: too hot for a sweater. If she feels like she
- 8:01Speaker 2: needs it, then just go get it. I learned how
- 8:03Speaker 2: to keep the path smooth rather than try to insist
- 8:07Speaker 2: that she come around to my particular viewpoint.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Why is it easier to intuitively communicate with a person
- 8:17Speaker 1: who has dementia.
- 8:20Speaker 2: I think from the place of intuition, there's a lot
- 8:24Speaker 2: more trust and you can be present to just what
- 8:28Speaker 2: is instead of the thinking mind. So the intuition, the
- 8:34Speaker 2: intuition comes from the right hemisphere of the brain, and
- 8:37Speaker 2: the logic and problem solving and linear thinking comes from
- 8:41Speaker 2: the left hemisphere of the brain. And I believe we
- 8:43Speaker 2: have a culture and a society that is very focused
- 8:47Speaker 2: on left hemispheric skills, and so therefore we have underdeveloped
- 8:53Speaker 2: right hemispheric skills. So intuition, if you are willing to
- 8:59Speaker 2: trust it and develop it and practice it, and that
- 9:02Speaker 2: it's also along with creativity and imagination and yeah, there's
- 9:10Speaker 2: music and all sorts of things come from that right hemisphere.
- 9:14Speaker 2: And if we're willing to sort of lean into that
- 9:17Speaker 2: and develop that side, then we can have an even
- 9:20Speaker 2: more certain understanding of what's going on for another person.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Intuition allows us to connect more at the heart level
- 9:28Speaker 2: than anything the logic linear left brain thinking can allow
- 9:32Speaker 2: us to do. So, if you can intuitively communicate with somebody,
- 9:36Speaker 2: you don't even really need words. You can read all
- 9:40Speaker 2: sorts of other bits of information from body language, facial expression,
- 9:45Speaker 2: nonverbal communication, energy in general. And I think that's something
- 9:49Speaker 2: that we can rely on more than just what we
- 9:51Speaker 2: think we know.
- 9:53Speaker 1: A personal share in nineteen seventy five, I was in
- 9:56Speaker 1: the Air Force and I was stationed in Korea, and
- 10:00Speaker 1: one morning I had a message in my head and
- 10:03Speaker 1: it said, call your mother. She needs to hear from you. Now.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I was always one who would trust that inner voice,
- 10:09Speaker 1: no matter when it came, and differentiated between the voice
- 10:13Speaker 1: that shouts the voice of ego or the voice of
- 10:15Speaker 1: spirit guidance, whatever it might be, whatever people consider it
- 10:18Speaker 1: to be, and had not had a negative letter from
- 10:22Speaker 1: my mother. We would write monthly, and so I did.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I followed the voice and I called my mother. And
- 10:27Speaker 1: back in those days, we had wired telephones so that
- 10:31Speaker 1: people could pick up a phone in one room and
- 10:32Speaker 1: pick up a phone in another room. And my mother
- 10:36Speaker 1: and my sister picked up the phone extensions simultaneously, and
- 10:39Speaker 1: I said, Mom, is there anything wrong? And my sister says,
- 10:42Speaker 1: oh my god, how did he find out? And it
- 10:45Speaker 1: turned out she was scheduled for major surgery the next day.
- 10:48Speaker 1: And the voice told me to tell her that the
- 10:50Speaker 1: operation would be a complete success. You'd have a complete
- 10:52Speaker 1: and full recovery. Everything was going to be just fine.
- 10:55Speaker 1: She needed to hear that from me, and I'm grateful
- 10:57Speaker 1: for that gift.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Broke out and chills all over my body. That is
- 11:03Speaker 2: a beautiful story and a perfect example. Yeah.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Wow, absolutely, is your mom still with us.
- 11:10Speaker 2: She's not. She has been on the other side for
- 11:13Speaker 2: eleven years. And what she's doing from the other side
- 11:17Speaker 2: is pretty much as soon as she passed, she started
- 11:20Speaker 2: sending a cardinal, which was her favorite type of bird,
- 11:25Speaker 2: to my son's bedroom window every day throughout the day.
- 11:29Speaker 2: And when my kids were younger, because this is quite
- 11:32Speaker 2: a while ago, we got such a kick out of it.
- 11:33Speaker 2: You know, hi, Grandma, and there she is sending us signs.
- 11:37Speaker 2: And then over time the bird we now consider to
- 11:40Speaker 2: be a nuisance. He still comes every day all day.
- 11:43Speaker 2: He pecks at the door, the window. He drives my
- 11:46Speaker 2: dogs crazy. But it's still so delightful because that's her.
- 11:51Speaker 2: You know, I have no doubt that that is her.
- 11:52Speaker 2: It's astonishing how connected to the animal world and the
- 11:56Speaker 2: natural world spirit is.
- 11:59Speaker 1: So After this experience with your mom, what were your
- 12:02Speaker 1: early channeling experiences like what led you into channeling yourself?
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yeah, well, when I saw what was possible for saving
- 12:12Speaker 2: my relationship with my mother, because that is what channeling
- 12:15Speaker 2: did for me. It gave me a deeper understanding of
- 12:19Speaker 2: what we were actually here to do together. And this
- 12:23Speaker 2: is not something I would have ever understood, even from
- 12:26Speaker 2: younger years. This is not something that would have made
- 12:28Speaker 2: sense to me. So it did come at the perfect time,
- 12:32Speaker 2: and I felt like, if this can rescue a relationship
- 12:38Speaker 2: that was really so tumultuous, difficult, challenging, frustrating. In fact,
- 12:44Speaker 2: I would I would sometimes dread having visits from her
- 12:49Speaker 2: or going over there because I knew that it was
- 12:52Speaker 2: just going to be hard and I didn't always have
- 12:54Speaker 2: the energy for it. So channeling and understanding her from
- 12:58Speaker 2: the soul perspective could shift that so that now I
- 13:02Speaker 2: couldn't wait to get together with her, and we would
- 13:04Speaker 2: dance around the kitchen and we would make up silly
- 13:08Speaker 2: songs and we would laugh at nothing, and we just
- 13:11Speaker 2: infused joy back into our relationship together. And it also
- 13:16Speaker 2: gave us some very powerful and poignant moments where even
- 13:20Speaker 2: though her language and her access to language was failing
- 13:24Speaker 2: because of the dementia, I still knew what she needed
- 13:27Speaker 2: and what she wanted to communicate because of that intuitive connection.
- 13:31Speaker 2: So I realized, if this is possible in a very
- 13:36Speaker 2: complicated mother daughter relationship, then where else could it be
- 13:40Speaker 2: applicable and useful in my life? So I started to
- 13:43Speaker 2: take classes. I started to learn how to channel from
- 13:47Speaker 2: the perspective of my higher self and from the perspective
- 13:50Speaker 2: of my spirit guides. I learned how to channel the
- 13:53Speaker 2: souls of my children, the souls of other ancestors, the
- 13:57Speaker 2: souls of my dogs. It's endless, there's no limit when
- 14:01Speaker 2: we tap into soul level information to what it can
- 14:06Speaker 2: do and the healing it can bring in the depth
- 14:08Speaker 2: of understanding. So it has completely changed every aspect of
- 14:12Speaker 2: my life, and of course it allows me to reach
- 14:15Speaker 2: many many others and bring this sort of healing forward
- 14:18Speaker 2: for those who who resonate with it.
- 14:21Speaker 1: You describe yourself as a conscious channel. What does this mean?
- 14:26Speaker 1: How do you connect and with whom do you connect?
- 14:30Speaker 2: Yes, I learned about this term when I was in
- 14:35Speaker 2: an interview. I had a channeling interview, which was something
- 14:39Speaker 2: that I had never had before. But I wanted to
- 14:43Speaker 2: provide services to a local New Age store some probably
- 14:47Speaker 2: fifteen years ago, and the owner said, Okay, I have
- 14:50Speaker 2: to get a feel for your work first, So come
- 14:52Speaker 2: in and I'm going to ask you questions and you're
- 14:54Speaker 2: going to channel answers for me, and this is very stressful,
- 14:58Speaker 2: as you might imagine. So we sat in a little
- 15:01Speaker 2: room and she asked me to channel all the beings.
- 15:04Speaker 2: She asked me to channel, and when I was done,
- 15:08Speaker 2: she said to me, I'm very glad to see that
- 15:10Speaker 2: you're a conscious channel and she said, because that's really
- 15:13Speaker 2: all I want to that's what I resonate with, and
- 15:15Speaker 2: that's what I want to offer through my shop. And
- 15:18Speaker 2: I said, oh, thank you. What is that? What does
- 15:21Speaker 2: that mean? I had no idea what the difference was,
- 15:25Speaker 2: But the type of channeling that I do, I'm very
- 15:28Speaker 2: aware of the messages that are coming through. I see images,
- 15:32Speaker 2: I do have feeling and sensation, emotion that comes with it,
- 15:36Speaker 2: but I am the only one inhabiting my body. When
- 15:39Speaker 2: I channel, there's no energy that's overtaking me or that
- 15:43Speaker 2: is moving me physically in a certain way, and so
- 15:48Speaker 2: that is that's what's referred to as conscious channeling. I
- 15:52Speaker 2: remember the messages, I remember what I've said. I might
- 15:54Speaker 2: not remember every detail because they come through rather quickly,
- 15:58Speaker 2: but I am fully aware, and so that's what I
- 16:00Speaker 2: understood then to be conscious channeling. And then there's trance channeling.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Which is different than what I do. And there are
- 16:09Speaker 2: some beautiful trance channelers out there as well, so we
- 16:12Speaker 2: all work a little bit differently with spirit, but conscious
- 16:15Speaker 2: channeling is how I work. It's kind of how I
- 16:19Speaker 2: was first exposed to channeling, and so I decided, then
- 16:22Speaker 2: that's what I'm most comfortable with. I want to be
- 16:25Speaker 2: the only one in here, in this body, experiencing what's
- 16:29Speaker 2: going on, and so my guides work with me to
- 16:33Speaker 2: ensure that that things stay within the context of my
- 16:36Speaker 2: comfort zone. So that's how I would describe it.
- 16:39Speaker 1: And so a client comes to you with a question,
- 16:42Speaker 1: how do you connect?
- 16:45Speaker 2: I prepare for the sessions, and honestly, I feel that
- 16:50Speaker 2: that to be a very high vibrational clear channel requires
- 16:54Speaker 2: me to have predominantly excellent self care, self compassion, and
- 17:00Speaker 2: self love. So most of my preparation is really quite enjoyable.
- 17:04Speaker 2: It involves getting out in the natural world, being in
- 17:07Speaker 2: my garden, spending time with my animals, with my children,
- 17:11Speaker 2: with my beautiful friendships and relationships. The things that nurture
- 17:16Speaker 2: my heart and bring me to a higher vibrational place
- 17:20Speaker 2: are what make me a clear channel. So does meditation,
- 17:23Speaker 2: which is essential. So do mantras which I do, music, movement, yoga.
- 17:30Speaker 2: There's a lot of things that I do to prepare
- 17:32Speaker 2: and clear the path so that spirit and souls and
- 17:38Speaker 2: energetic beings can come through and bring in the clearest language,
- 17:42Speaker 2: so that I can understand that and make that usable
- 17:45Speaker 2: and functional to my clients, So that my preparation does
- 17:50Speaker 2: require me to look at and consider myself to be
- 17:53Speaker 2: a sacred vessel, which all of us are. But we
- 17:56Speaker 2: don't always treat ourselves like that. And I think that's
- 18:00Speaker 2: eighty to ninety percent of the work is how we
- 18:04Speaker 2: are towards ourselves, what our relationship is like to our
- 18:07Speaker 2: own soul, to our own spirit team. And those are
- 18:10Speaker 2: the practices that I use.
- 18:12Speaker 1: And you had mentioned going out into the garden. Do
- 18:14Speaker 1: you practice earthing?
- 18:15Speaker 2: Yes, I'm always barefoot in my garden. Sometimes that's painful
- 18:23Speaker 2: mulch or unseen stones that I do not perceive before
- 18:27Speaker 2: I step on them. But yes, earthing I find to
- 18:30Speaker 2: be crucial to the draining out of energy that I
- 18:35Speaker 2: don't need, energy that I don't that doesn't serve me.
- 18:38Speaker 2: And Guya, Mother Earth, she knows what to do with
- 18:41Speaker 2: all types of energy. She is the master composter, so
- 18:46Speaker 2: she can drain that energy and turn it into something
- 18:49Speaker 2: or route it in a certain way where it can
- 18:51Speaker 2: be nourishing somewhere. So I really trust that process and
- 18:55Speaker 2: then drawing up the energy of the planet. There's nothing
- 18:59Speaker 2: more beautiful or nourishing and loving than that. So she's
- 19:06Speaker 2: my girl. Mother Earth is you know. I channel her
- 19:10Speaker 2: all the time, through through the trees and through worms.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I channel worms, victim, I mean all the beings of
- 19:18Speaker 2: life that are created and live this beautiful exist coexistence
- 19:23Speaker 2: with us as we share this planet. They have wisdom
- 19:26Speaker 2: to share. And yes, get to get back to your question,
- 19:29Speaker 2: earthing is very essential to my.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Work, wonderful, and you had mentioned channeling souls. What else
- 19:37Speaker 1: or who else do you.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Channel souls that are here on the planet, So in
- 19:43Speaker 2: body moving around, souls that are on the other side,
- 19:46Speaker 2: so ancestors and loved ones no longer in body, essence
- 19:50Speaker 2: of Earth that can be in the form of trees, plants, animals,
- 19:56Speaker 2: Earth herself. We can channel spirit guide. Each of us
- 20:00Speaker 2: has a vast network of energetic beings who are specifically
- 20:05Speaker 2: devoted to our journey here to helping us lighten up,
- 20:10Speaker 2: not take ourselves. So seriously, have more fun, have clarity,
- 20:14Speaker 2: expand on the gifts and the offerings that our soul
- 20:18Speaker 2: is here to share with the world anything. We can
- 20:23Speaker 2: ask anything, any question at all that's sitting on the
- 20:26Speaker 2: heart that we would like higher level guidance around, and
- 20:29Speaker 2: I can channel wisdom towards that.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Have any of these beings surprised you?
- 20:36Speaker 2: They all surprise me. There's I am always learning, and
- 20:42Speaker 2: sometimes I will pause in the middle of a channel
- 20:46Speaker 2: message and I will say out loud, oh my gosh,
- 20:50Speaker 2: that's fascinating, because there is there's so much. I'm always
- 20:56Speaker 2: astonished by how much I don't know and how much
- 21:00Speaker 2: unlearning is taking place, which is really essential, I think,
- 21:04Speaker 2: if humanity is to reach that tipping point of moving
- 21:10Speaker 2: towards harmony and thriving and life and care for all.
- 21:15Speaker 2: But yes, there's there's always messages that, even even from
- 21:19Speaker 2: the simplest, especially children, when I'm channeling children for their parents,
- 21:24Speaker 2: and their parents' question is, well, how can I serve
- 21:27Speaker 2: my child best? Or what? You know? Why why are
- 21:30Speaker 2: they not talking to me much anymore? Why is my teenager,
- 21:34Speaker 2: you know, so seeming so separate or apart from me?
- 21:37Speaker 2: And then that teenage teenager or the soul of that
- 21:40Speaker 2: teenager comes in and is able to articulate, this is
- 21:43Speaker 2: what I need from you right now, and it's so
- 21:46Speaker 2: completely different than what we might be inclined towards as
- 21:50Speaker 2: as parents. That's always surprising and illuminating to me. And
- 21:54Speaker 2: in the animal world, how how beautifully our animal messengers
- 21:59Speaker 2: are connecting to us, and how much messaging they have
- 22:03Speaker 2: for us, and how it's really not that they are
- 22:07Speaker 2: missing us. We're just distracted. We need to come back
- 22:10Speaker 2: to being awake and aware and paying attention to our
- 22:13Speaker 2: present moment and our surroundings, and then we can receive
- 22:16Speaker 2: all the messages they're here to bring. So it's always
- 22:19Speaker 2: there's always just beautiful exchange of energy and wisdom that
- 22:26Speaker 2: I would never have known if I hadn't tuned into it.
- 22:29Speaker 1: One of the lessons that came through to me regarding
- 22:32Speaker 1: children is that we cannot project our experience onto our kids.
- 22:36Speaker 1: They live a different life than we lived, and we
- 22:38Speaker 1: have to remember that and respect that and work with
- 22:40Speaker 1: them on their level, not on our level.
- 22:42Speaker 2: That's completely true and still really hard to do. For
- 22:47Speaker 2: some reason.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Absolutely absolutely, my guest Stephanie Bank Stephanie, Please share with

- 25:29Speaker 1: My guest this week Stephanie Banks. Stephanie, are there common
- 25:33Speaker 1: themes that come through while you are challenging?
- 25:36Speaker 2: I'm sorry, channeling, let's see common themes. Well, I think
- 25:43Speaker 2: this has to do with how deeply connected I am
- 25:46Speaker 2: to the planet and to the fate of life on
- 25:50Speaker 2: the planet. So this is something that is unique to
- 25:54Speaker 2: my soul. But I'm not the only one. There's armies
- 25:57Speaker 2: of us who are out here to support and love
- 26:01Speaker 2: and protect and promote the well being of life here
- 26:05Speaker 2: on Earth. And so a lot of the common themes
- 26:07Speaker 2: that I am present to have to do with just that,
- 26:11Speaker 2: with connecting to the divine energy and wisdom and love
- 26:17Speaker 2: and generosity and bringing us back to reciprocity with life
- 26:23Speaker 2: on the planet. And so a lot of this has
- 26:25Speaker 2: to do with sometimes food right, how we harvest it,
- 26:29Speaker 2: who we thank for it, how we interact with the
- 26:33Speaker 2: plants that are providing it. This comes through in channeling,
- 26:38Speaker 2: and also Gaia will show me or transmit energy and
- 26:45Speaker 2: messages that really illuminate a particular moment in time or
- 26:49Speaker 2: a particular person's path. I'll share an example of that
- 26:53Speaker 2: I have a client whos she's a steward of sacred land.
- 26:58Speaker 2: She and her husband and they were preparing their land
- 27:03Speaker 2: to make some roads so that people would have would
- 27:06Speaker 2: be able to come and stay and receive the healing
- 27:10Speaker 2: benefits of this land and have retreats there and just
- 27:12Speaker 2: receive nourishment. So with part of the road construction, the
- 27:17Speaker 2: person who was doing that type of construction advised them
- 27:20Speaker 2: that this tree would need to be removed in order
- 27:25Speaker 2: for the road to be have its access and for
- 27:29Speaker 2: he just felt it would be the best interest of
- 27:31Speaker 2: this project they were doing. So she called me and
- 27:34Speaker 2: she said, we're prepared to do this. We're prepared to
- 27:37Speaker 2: remove the tree. But something told me just to check
- 27:40Speaker 2: in with you and have you channel the tree and
- 27:43Speaker 2: see is this okay? Is this in alignment? Is this
- 27:46Speaker 2: in right relationship with the land? So I channeled the tree,
- 27:50Speaker 2: who she had named Trinity, because there's like three trunks
- 27:57Speaker 2: that come from this one mother base of the tree.
- 28:01Speaker 2: So I channeled Trinity, and Trinity informs us that she
- 28:05Speaker 2: is to stay. She is to stay put. She is,
- 28:08Speaker 2: as she described it, a holder of the earth, which
- 28:13Speaker 2: just gives me the chills even to feel the transmission
- 28:17Speaker 2: of that again. And so this actually changed the plans.
- 28:22Speaker 2: My client went back to her contractor and said, I'm sorry,
- 28:26Speaker 2: but no, the tree is staying. You're going to have
- 28:28Speaker 2: to creatively figure something else out about this part of things.
- 28:33Speaker 2: The tree stayed, and within I want to say, was
- 28:36Speaker 2: probably about six months. A typhoon came to that area
- 28:40Speaker 2: of land. There was a lot of flooding, there was
- 28:44Speaker 2: a lot of damage all around, but Trinity stands and
- 28:48Speaker 2: she did exactly what she said. She held the earth.
- 28:53Speaker 2: So these are the types of messages that come through,
- 28:57Speaker 2: and these are the you know, for me, the most
- 29:00Speaker 2: exciting common themes. Of course, there's lots and lots that
- 29:03Speaker 2: comes through from the human perspective as well, but this
- 29:06Speaker 2: is just an example of something from the natural world
- 29:09Speaker 2: that can really guide us in being in right relationship
- 29:13Speaker 2: and reciprocity and care for the planet.
- 29:16Speaker 1: So a new client comes to you, what is a
- 29:19Speaker 1: channeling session like for that new client.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Well, usually they come to me very well prepared with
- 29:25Speaker 2: a list of questions, and if they don't have that,
- 29:27Speaker 2: that's okay, there's no pressure to do so, but they've
- 29:30Speaker 2: usually given thought to what they need. It's what's driven
- 29:34Speaker 2: them to make the appointment in the first place. And
- 29:37Speaker 2: so they'll tell me, well, I don't really know how
- 29:39Speaker 2: to clearly articulate this, but these are the relationships I'm
- 29:42Speaker 2: struggling with, or this is the big decision coming up
- 29:45Speaker 2: that I have to make, or this is where I
- 29:47Speaker 2: feel disconnected from my own essence or my loved one,
- 29:52Speaker 2: or whatever the challenges are. They'll tell me a little
- 29:57Speaker 2: bit about what's running in the background of that. I'm
- 30:00Speaker 2: not really listening so much to their words as I
- 30:03Speaker 2: am listening beyond and behind their words, and that's where
- 30:08Speaker 2: their guides and my guides are informing me. Ask about this,
- 30:12Speaker 2: get more information about that. This is what you're going
- 30:15Speaker 2: to tune into, and then I can tell the client, Okay,
- 30:18Speaker 2: I've got what I need. I'm going to tune into
- 30:20Speaker 2: your higher self. That's who's here. I'm going to tune
- 30:23Speaker 2: into your spirit guides, or there's a grandmother energy that's
- 30:27Speaker 2: here for you, or whatever I'm sensing. I bring the message,
- 30:30Speaker 2: and then I process the message with them. I'm able
- 30:33Speaker 2: to share with them the imagery that's coming through. I
- 30:36Speaker 2: often see what I guess can be considered as movies
- 30:39Speaker 2: in my mind's eye. I channel with my eyes closed,
- 30:42Speaker 2: so I'm able to really perceive a lot more of
- 30:45Speaker 2: what's going on, and we process that. I help them
- 30:49Speaker 2: make sense of it, make use of it, apply the
- 30:52Speaker 2: information that's coming through, and then we move on to
- 30:54Speaker 2: the next thing. So each session is so very different
- 30:58Speaker 2: than any other because that person and in their relationships
- 31:03Speaker 2: and in their life, is really having their own unique
- 31:05Speaker 2: soul journey, and it's the greatest honor to be asked
- 31:10Speaker 2: to be part of their journey.
- 31:12Speaker 1: In this way, you mentor clients in discerning their own
- 31:17Speaker 1: inner voice of wisdom. Who or what is that inner.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Voice that's our intuition, and you can also call it
- 31:25Speaker 2: your higher self, and you can also call it spirit. See,
- 31:29Speaker 2: at a certain point, none of the words matter anymore
- 31:32Speaker 2: in the way that they sort of segregate or separate
- 31:35Speaker 2: out by detail or by nuance. So that inner voice
- 31:42Speaker 2: of wisdom is what people might call like our nudges,
- 31:47Speaker 2: the things that really propel us in a certain direction
- 31:51Speaker 2: that is for our highest good. It's never fearful, it's
- 31:56Speaker 2: never shouty and loud. That's the voice, you know, the
- 32:00Speaker 2: egoic voice that is designed to keep us safe. But
- 32:03Speaker 2: the voice of intuition also keeps us safe if we
- 32:07Speaker 2: honor it, if we listen to it, if we trust it,
- 32:11Speaker 2: and it is really designed to show us the path
- 32:16Speaker 2: to our greatest expansion.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Are clients surprised with what they learn or does it
- 32:21Speaker 1: become an Aha moment for them?
- 32:24Speaker 2: Well, it depends where they are in their journey. For
- 32:27Speaker 2: my clients that are pretty deep in their spiritual journey,
- 32:31Speaker 2: many of them, after I channel their message, we'll say, oh,
- 32:34Speaker 2: my gosh, I knew that, And then I get to say, exactly,
- 32:39Speaker 2: there's not likely to be something brand new that I'm
- 32:42Speaker 2: telling you because you are so attuned and you are
- 32:45Speaker 2: so aware, and you're in your journey. This is but
- 32:49Speaker 2: this is so crucial because how many times do we
- 32:54Speaker 2: need to hear things over and over and over again
- 32:57Speaker 2: before it finally lands. So sometimes it's just my speaking
- 33:01Speaker 2: it through their channeled message that allows them to take
- 33:05Speaker 2: action on that thing, or allows them to believe and
- 33:09Speaker 2: lean back into their trust, which changes the trajectory of everything.
- 33:13Speaker 2: So there's that that happens when people are not at
- 33:16Speaker 2: all surprised and already knew. And then there are plenty
- 33:19Speaker 2: of times when people say I had no idea that's
- 33:24Speaker 2: what my spouse needed from me, or I had no
- 33:27Speaker 2: idea that that was my person's experience of me that
- 33:33Speaker 2: explains why this is going on or why we keep
- 33:36Speaker 2: bumping up against each other in that way. So I'd
- 33:39Speaker 2: say it's probably half and half.
- 33:42Speaker 1: You had mentioned that the voice connects for the highest good,
- 33:46Speaker 1: not the egoic voice, but the true voice of connection
- 33:49Speaker 1: of spirit. What is the highest good? How do we
- 33:52Speaker 1: define highest good?
- 33:55Speaker 2: Okay? I believe that our souls are here to for
- 34:01Speaker 2: one common purpose. Everybody always wants to know. What's my
- 34:04Speaker 2: sole purpose? If we can simplify, it is to learn
- 34:10Speaker 2: to love unconditionally, to get closer to agape to that
- 34:15Speaker 2: divine perfect love. And the way we play this out,
- 34:20Speaker 2: the way we learn this is through relationships. Relationships with
- 34:26Speaker 2: our own self, relationships with our family members, our friends,
- 34:29Speaker 2: our loved ones, those we work with more than human
- 34:33Speaker 2: beings that we are in relationship with, our relationship to
- 34:37Speaker 2: the earth. So this is how the soul expresses its growth.
- 34:43Speaker 2: It's how it expresses its truth. It's how it calls
- 34:46Speaker 2: forward different opportunities and ways to grow. So this is
- 34:51Speaker 2: also why we find ourselves sometimes frustratingly. So in similar
- 34:57Speaker 2: relationships that feel like they're going no aware or that
- 35:00Speaker 2: feel frustrating because we're we are not done playing that
- 35:06Speaker 2: thing out. We haven't we haven't received the intelligence sometimes
- 35:14Speaker 2: yet about that, or we are stuck in our patterns
- 35:16Speaker 2: of behavior and not ready to break free of those
- 35:20Speaker 2: to be able to see what more this could be,
- 35:23Speaker 2: or what our contribution to this repetition is really all about.
- 35:29Speaker 2: So that's my understanding and my belief around why our
- 35:34Speaker 2: souls continue to cycle through in this beautiful earthly existence
- 35:39Speaker 2: to learn how to be in greater service to divine love.
- 35:42Speaker 2: And we are that divine love, but every single day
- 35:46Speaker 2: we stray from that, myself included. There's nobody that I
- 35:50Speaker 2: know who is in a perfect relationship in this way
- 35:55Speaker 2: and in the recognition and expression of this love. It's
- 36:00Speaker 2: what it's part of the human experience to try to
- 36:03Speaker 2: get closer to it. So that is how we are
- 36:06Speaker 2: in the highest service is when we are in the
- 36:10Speaker 2: unfolding of our soul's journey to get closer and closer
- 36:14Speaker 2: to divine love, which is unconditional and from the vastness
- 36:20Speaker 2: of all that has ever been.
- 36:23Speaker 1: One of my life lessons and one of the blessings
- 36:26Speaker 1: that I've had in my life is, in addition to
- 36:28Speaker 1: a forty four year career in industrial technology, I also
- 36:31Speaker 1: had a calling in the late nineteen nineties to an
- 36:35Speaker 1: organization called the New Seminary of New York, which was
- 36:38Speaker 1: one of the first interfaith seminaries in the world. And
- 36:41Speaker 1: one of the things that we learned there is that
- 36:43Speaker 1: there is an iteration of the Golden rule in virtually
- 36:47Speaker 1: every religion around the world. Do unto others as you'd
- 36:50Speaker 1: have them, do unto you, Love thy neighbor as thyself.
- 36:53Speaker 1: If everybody put everything else aside and just embraced those
- 36:57Speaker 1: two facets, what a wonderful world this.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Would be, absolutely and that is the world that is
- 37:03Speaker 2: absolutely possible because the simplicity of that, how do we
- 37:08Speaker 2: want to be treated and treat others in that way?
- 37:11Speaker 2: That is? That is love? That's sort of the definition
- 37:15Speaker 2: of it. So I love that absolutely.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Can anyone learn to channel and connect to our loved
- 37:23Speaker 1: ones on the other side, Yes.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, I have seen it time and again. The
- 37:29Speaker 2: thing is that you one does need to be committed
- 37:34Speaker 2: to the practice, and there's not When I say the practice,
- 37:38Speaker 2: it sounds like there's one and only, but there's not.
- 37:40Speaker 2: It's just like I listed all those things I do
- 37:43Speaker 2: for self care and to keep myself as a clear channel.
- 37:46Speaker 2: It's going to be a little different for everybody, but
- 37:49Speaker 2: with probably very similar components if one is willing to
- 37:53Speaker 2: put in the work, the work of showing up to meditation,
- 37:57Speaker 2: the work of self actualization, like really digging into where
- 38:04Speaker 2: we are stuck, what needs to be healed, what needs
- 38:07Speaker 2: to be brought into the light, how we can be
- 38:10Speaker 2: in more self acceptance and self compassion, all of these things.
- 38:15Speaker 2: There's so many different ways that we can be in
- 38:18Speaker 2: service to ourselves, which also means in service to the world. Then, yeah,
- 38:23Speaker 2: you can definitely learn to channel from the highest loving frequency.
- 38:27Speaker 2: We're all channeling all the time, but we want to
- 38:30Speaker 2: learn how to do so from the highest vibration, because
- 38:34Speaker 2: when you channel and you bring in the energy from
- 38:36Speaker 2: the noisy, dense vibration, not so helpful, not so useful,
- 38:41Speaker 2: you just end up contributing to the despair of the
- 38:45Speaker 2: world rather than the upliftment.
- 38:48Speaker 1: And you had mentioned becoming a clear channel that really
- 38:51Speaker 1: requires true listening, listening without interrupting a pine and just
- 38:55Speaker 1: listening to what someone else's spirit has to say.
- 38:59Speaker 2: That's exactly right, and isn't that sometimes the hardest thing
- 39:02Speaker 2: to do.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Absolutely, What one thing do you want people to know
- 39:09Speaker 1: about their own intuition?
- 39:12Speaker 2: That it is not separate from you. There are people
- 39:16Speaker 2: who think that they're not intuitive, and that's not true.
- 39:22Speaker 2: This is a sense that, just along with all of
- 39:25Speaker 2: our other senses, we're born with and it is fully
- 39:29Speaker 2: intact from the time we're born, and at some point
- 39:33Speaker 2: we start to we're taught to separate from it. We're
- 39:38Speaker 2: taught to question it. We're taught to doubt it, to
- 39:41Speaker 2: disbelieve it, and sometimes even to fear it, which is
- 39:46Speaker 2: really unfortunate. So over years of being taught that, or
- 39:52Speaker 2: simply recognizing that when we are highly intuitive, it might
- 39:55Speaker 2: make other people uncomfortable, and so we therefore learn to
- 39:58Speaker 2: accommodate to other people's comfort. There's a lot of different
- 40:01Speaker 2: ways that people separate from their true voice. But what
- 40:06Speaker 2: I want people to know is it doesn't go anywhere.
- 40:09Speaker 2: It's not separate from you. You've just layered some things
- 40:12Speaker 2: on top of it, and that's the good news, because
- 40:14Speaker 2: you can unlayer those things and recover it and rediscover
- 40:19Speaker 2: it and start to use it again.
- 40:22Speaker 1: And from my own personal experience, for parents who have
- 40:25Speaker 1: a child who start sharing things that may seem a
- 40:29Speaker 1: little strange or unusual to them, listen to what your
- 40:32Speaker 1: kid has to say, because there's wisdom coming through that
- 40:35Speaker 1: child's mouth.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Yes, and beauty and love and transcendence, like so much
- 40:42Speaker 2: richness from the mouths of our children, of our youth.
- 40:46Speaker 1: How may we overcome communication challenges by connecting on a
- 40:51Speaker 1: soul level?
- 40:53Speaker 2: So I'd start with art centered communication because I think
- 40:58Speaker 2: for people that are new to this body of work,
- 41:03Speaker 2: just saying, oh, just connect on a soul level might
- 41:06Speaker 2: seem a little impossible or a little far fetched. But
- 41:11Speaker 2: we all have heart connection. Right now, Victor, you and
- 41:15Speaker 2: I are sharing a heart connection. And the heart, I
- 41:18Speaker 2: would argue, is the wisest, most intelligent organ of the body.
- 41:23Speaker 2: I know that our culture would say it's the brain,
- 41:25Speaker 2: But I'm a big fan of the heart, and we
- 41:27Speaker 2: do have the ability to attune to and read other
- 41:32Speaker 2: people's hearts. There is an attunement that goes on with it.
- 41:36Speaker 2: In fact, some of my favorite work of research comes
- 41:40Speaker 2: out of Heart Math Institute. So for listeners, go check
- 41:45Speaker 2: out the Heart Math Institute, and just see how magical
- 41:49Speaker 2: and amazing your heart is at perceiving energy, responding to energy, intuiting.
- 41:56Speaker 2: The heart is such an intuitive organ And so I
- 41:59Speaker 2: would start with allow yourself, allow your heart to check
- 42:06Speaker 2: in with the heart of a loved one, and you
- 42:09Speaker 2: can just ask an open ended question like what does
- 42:13Speaker 2: my loved one need from me right now in this moment,
- 42:17Speaker 2: or how can I be in greater loving service to
- 42:21Speaker 2: this conversation or this situation by connecting at the heart level.
- 42:26Speaker 2: And I will bet you you'll get guidance because the
- 42:30Speaker 2: heart doesn't need to be retrained on anything. It knows
- 42:35Speaker 2: and it can guide and lead you. And you can
- 42:38Speaker 2: feel in the resonance of your heart and of your
- 42:42Speaker 2: greater body when something feels true and right for you.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Everybody has a sense for what there yes is right,
- 42:49Speaker 2: something that feels open, expansive, warm. We want to lean
- 42:52Speaker 2: into it, and then we know what our no is.
- 42:56Speaker 2: It feels like we want to retreat, pull away. You
- 42:58Speaker 2: might feel constriction, you might feel avoidance or dread. So
- 43:01Speaker 2: when you get clear on your yes and no, you
- 43:05Speaker 2: can get clear on is what's true for you, what's
- 43:08Speaker 2: coming from intuition where you're feeling led.
- 43:13Speaker 1: I was inspired. I've been channeling poetry since I was
- 43:16Speaker 1: a kid, and I was inspired to write a poem
- 43:19Speaker 1: for children called The Brain inside the Heart. Can I
- 43:22Speaker 1: share that with you?
- 43:25Speaker 2: Wow?
- 43:28Speaker 1: We all know the brain. We all know the brain
- 43:31Speaker 1: inside our head that's supposed to make us smart. But
- 43:34Speaker 1: very few know or have even read about the brain
- 43:37Speaker 1: inside our heart. The brain and the heart is very small,
- 43:40Speaker 1: but it's much smarter than the other. It's the most
- 43:43Speaker 1: sensitive brain of all. When we connect with one another,
- 43:47Speaker 1: the brain and the heart can feel things in its
- 43:50Speaker 1: very own special way. It always knows when truth rings
- 43:54Speaker 1: or when we have gone astray. If we learn to
- 43:57Speaker 1: listen when it speaks, we can make our lives the
- 43:59Speaker 1: best and navigate its valleys and peaks with love and
- 44:03Speaker 1: joy and zest. So always listen to your heart and
- 44:08Speaker 1: everything that it tells you. You'll know what to do
- 44:11Speaker 1: right from the start, and its wisdom will always bless you.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Oh my goodness. Picture that came through as a child
- 44:25Speaker 2: as a channel poem.
- 44:26Speaker 1: No no, no, that came through as an adult four children.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that is exquisite.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you so much.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Thank you that's exactly. First of all, yes, right, And
- 44:40Speaker 2: this is why I want people to check out Heartmouth Institute.
- 44:43Speaker 2: They can show you the brain and the heart. They
- 44:47Speaker 2: have studied this. There is data, there is science, there
- 44:50Speaker 2: is fact behind this. So for those of us that
- 44:54Speaker 2: are really stuck in the left brain, yeah, this is
- 44:57Speaker 2: actually a thing, and it is You're right. It is smarter.
- 45:01Speaker 2: I believe, so much more intuitive and knowing than the
- 45:07Speaker 2: brain than the you know what, we get convoluted with
- 45:11Speaker 2: our brain, our mind are thinking, our beliefs, et cetera.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Absolutely. My guest Stephanie Banks, will be back with more
- 45:18Speaker 1: after these words from the Own Times Radio network.

- 47:46Speaker 1: Plan brought to you by Female the Ad Council. Back
- 47:49Speaker 1: on Destination Unlimited. My guest this week Stephanie Bank. Stephanie,
- 47:55Speaker 1: what do you love most and what is most challenging
- 47:58Speaker 1: about your work as a ChIL.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Wow. What I love most are actually the people I
- 48:08Speaker 2: get to channel for because it keeps me in the
- 48:14Speaker 2: hope that I need to have for humanity. It can
- 48:20Speaker 2: be a little tricky, especially for one who does stay
- 48:24Speaker 2: informed of global events, to feel the level of I
- 48:29Speaker 2: don't want to call it optimism, but love and joy
- 48:33Speaker 2: and upliftment when also taking in the difficulty and seriousness
- 48:39Speaker 2: of what's going on around. So that's what I love
- 48:43Speaker 2: most are the people that I serve and what they
- 48:46Speaker 2: are up to in the world. I'm very, very fortunate
- 48:48Speaker 2: to channel for people who are saving the Amazonian rainforest.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Those are my clients to channel for people who are
- 48:59Speaker 2: served in so many different areas on the earth level,
- 49:04Speaker 2: on the human level, in the beyond level. So that's
- 49:08Speaker 2: what I love most, and what is most challenging, I
- 49:11Speaker 2: would say, is I never know what is going to
- 49:18Speaker 2: come through what I'm going to say. So the tendency
- 49:21Speaker 2: towards like a type a personality that I sometimes identify
- 49:27Speaker 2: with that can feel scary. You know, I might I
- 49:31Speaker 2: might be channeling for a big group of people or
- 49:34Speaker 2: for someone who I really really admire, but it might
- 49:38Speaker 2: be a new client that I'm not very familiar with yet,
- 49:41Speaker 2: and I can get nervous about that or my you know,
- 49:45Speaker 2: I can. I can have just all the same feelings
- 49:49Speaker 2: that everybody else does of wanting wanting to be able
- 49:52Speaker 2: to prepare, but I can't. There's no preparation for this.
- 49:57Speaker 2: I can't like read a chapter and then recite the
- 50:00Speaker 2: and I can't really have preparation other than how I
- 50:03Speaker 2: take care of myself to be able to bring those
- 50:06Speaker 2: messages through clearly. So that's probably what's most challenging is
- 50:10Speaker 2: some of the human personality components you.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Had mentioned your own practices with regard to Gaya. What
- 50:18Speaker 1: are some of the things that you would recommend to
- 50:20Speaker 1: our listeners about energetic health, well being and connection with
- 50:23Speaker 1: this planet.
- 50:26Speaker 2: I think I would want people, especially those who are
- 50:29Speaker 2: not accustomed to gardening, to just plant a seed. It
- 50:34Speaker 2: really starts that simply. I didn't used to garden. I
- 50:38Speaker 2: used to listen to my clients talk about how much
- 50:42Speaker 2: regenerative energy they received and replenishment they received from gardening,
- 50:46Speaker 2: and I thought, oh, that's nice. Maybe, you know, maybe
- 50:49Speaker 2: when I'm older. Why I have no idea why I
- 50:52Speaker 2: would want to put this off Now, I garden. I
- 50:56Speaker 2: started a little mini food forest in my backyard with
- 50:59Speaker 2: my sun when he was like twelve or thirteen, and
- 51:04Speaker 2: he has a tremendous green thumb, and he is so
- 51:07Speaker 2: attuned to plants it's astonishing, and I thought this would
- 51:11Speaker 2: be a good thing for us. To do together, A
- 51:13Speaker 2: great place for us to spend time working side by side,
- 51:16Speaker 2: being in awe of what grows all on its own,
- 51:20Speaker 2: just with some sunshine and water. And this garden now
- 51:25Speaker 2: is my respite every day. It is a place where
- 51:29Speaker 2: I receive the most replenishment. He is at seventeen, far
- 51:34Speaker 2: too busy now to help me in the garden, so
- 51:37Speaker 2: it really is I'm kind of on my own, and
- 51:42Speaker 2: there's beauty in that too. I just sit out there
- 51:45Speaker 2: and I watch the dragonflies and butterflies and birds and
- 51:48Speaker 2: squirrels and mice and every creature that and the bees
- 51:53Speaker 2: and the flowers and the fruit that grows. I'm in
- 51:57Speaker 2: a semi tropical climate, so I grow papaya, as coconuts grow,
- 52:01Speaker 2: mangoes grow. I mean, I don't want to make people envious,
- 52:05Speaker 2: but pretty much everything grows here and not I got
- 52:10Speaker 2: off track, but it started with a seed. And that's
- 52:13Speaker 2: what I want people to know. Even if you don't
- 52:16Speaker 2: live in an area where you can have a little
- 52:18Speaker 2: bit of a plot of land to grow things on,
- 52:21Speaker 2: you can get a pot and you can get a seed,
- 52:23Speaker 2: and you can start an herb garden and you can
- 52:26Speaker 2: just watch a flower grow and talk to it and
- 52:30Speaker 2: really become part of the miracle of life here, which
- 52:33Speaker 2: is I believe the whole.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Purpose absolutely, And you had touched upon this before for yourself.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Radical self care. It's essential for everyone, isn't it.
- 52:43Speaker 2: It really is. Yeah, I know that when my self
- 52:46Speaker 2: care suffers, I am not as clear a channel, I'm
- 52:50Speaker 2: not as good a parent, I'm not as attentive a friend.
- 52:53Speaker 2: So it's crucial absolutely.
- 52:57Speaker 1: How may communicating with our children on a soul level
- 53:01Speaker 1: positively impact that relationship?
- 53:05Speaker 2: Well, we get to I'm going to refer us back
- 53:07Speaker 2: to the beginning of our talk when you were saying
- 53:10Speaker 2: how we are not the ones in charge of our
- 53:14Speaker 2: children's journeys, right, they are their own souls unfolding their
- 53:20Speaker 2: own experiences, and we know nothing. We literally know nothing
- 53:25Speaker 2: about what their journey is meant to be. But we
- 53:28Speaker 2: have all this previous programming which really does get in
- 53:31Speaker 2: the way and interferes with their path and with what
- 53:35Speaker 2: they need from us. So when you peel away all
- 53:39Speaker 2: that other stuff, the conditioning and the culture and the
- 53:44Speaker 2: norms that we've been taught or that we currently believe,
- 53:47Speaker 2: and we simply go to soul, then we can have
- 53:50Speaker 2: a true understanding of what they're here for and what
- 53:53Speaker 2: they need from us in order for us to stay
- 53:55Speaker 2: out of their way, but also to protect their path
- 53:59Speaker 2: a bit, because that is what we're here to do
- 54:00Speaker 2: as parents.
- 54:01Speaker 1: I believe have your relationships changed as a result of
- 54:06Speaker 1: expressing your channeling gifts.
- 54:09Speaker 2: Very much so. My marriage ended, So this is not
- 54:13Speaker 2: a little plug. Go ahead and start channeling because your
- 54:18Speaker 2: primary relationships may end. However, that's what needed to happen
- 54:24Speaker 2: in order for there to be space for all of me.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Right there was not room for all of me within
- 54:29Speaker 2: the context of that relationship, so the relationship and the
- 54:31Speaker 2: container had to change. On much higher notes, I would
- 54:38Speaker 2: say that I have the greatest friendships ever, and it
- 54:42Speaker 2: is based on truth and honesty and integrity and transparency.
- 54:47Speaker 2: And that's what channeling provides. As a parent, I am
- 54:51Speaker 2: a much better parent because of the channeling. So in
- 54:55Speaker 2: any given moment, even if I find myself stuck in
- 54:59Speaker 2: a repetition or you know, old thinking with my kids,
- 55:04Speaker 2: my parenting guides are always there to tell me, whoopsie,
- 55:08Speaker 2: this is actually where you can do better connecting. This
- 55:12Speaker 2: is actually where you can be you know, have the
- 55:17Speaker 2: loving influence that you're looking for instead of digging in here.
- 55:20Speaker 2: So since I know how to listen for that kind
- 55:23Speaker 2: of guidance, it is welcomed to influence me in all
- 55:27Speaker 2: of my relationships. And it does, and it has proven
- 55:30Speaker 2: to be such a beautiful, treasured, what do I want
- 55:36Speaker 2: to call it? Gift really to be able to tune
- 55:39Speaker 2: into that and follow that.
- 55:42Speaker 1: My guest conscious channel Stephanie Banks. Stephanie, one more time,
- 55:46Speaker 1: please share with our listeners where they can get all
- 55:48Speaker 1: of your books and find out more about you.

- 55:56Speaker 1: Stephanie, thank you so much for joining us and sharing

- 56:06Speaker 2: dharma here.
