- 0:00Do you want to stop having to worry about money and feeling
- 0:03unfulfilled? Then I recommend you to become a
- 0:07YouTube. That's what changed the game for
- 0:10me. Being a YouTube.
- 0:11It's not about fast money, it's about freedom and building a
- 0:15life you actually want. If you never start, you'll stay
- 0:18stuck trading time for money, working for someone else's dream
- 0:21instead of your own. And if you've been following
- 0:23this channel for a while, you know that I've been doing
- 0:26YouTube for several years now. It's my full time income.
- 0:29I don't lie on a job and I only work a few hours per week and I
- 0:33think YouTube is the only business model where you can
- 0:36actually achieve that a four hour work week.
- 0:38And today specifically, I'm going into how the first four
- 0:42months as a YouTube so back in the days changed my life and
- 0:47will change yours as well, even if nobody's watching yet.
- 0:50And what I realized is the biggest obstacle.
- 0:53The reason why so many people quit YouTube so soon, is because
- 0:57they measure their success in views rather than the foundation
- 1:01they're building. So without further ado, here are
- 1:03three reasons why starting YouTube changed my life.
- 1:07Already in the first four months of doing YouTube, reason #1 is
- 1:11that I was finding my voice. I knew that it would take time
- 1:15to get views and money, but it felt so good to finally be
- 1:19stepping into my voice and really claiming to myself that
- 1:24what I have to say is important. It's important enough to be
- 1:28broadcasted to be showed to millions of people because the
- 1:32reason I procrastinated starting a YouTube channel for so long is
- 1:35because I thought that what I had to say wasn't interesting
- 1:38enough. That had been a core wound for
- 1:40me, that why would people care about my opinions not just
- 1:44online but in person. So it was this like self love
- 1:47thing that I did to honor myself stepping into this is who I am.
- 1:53These are my opinions. These are my truths and my
- 1:56wisdom deserves to be heard. And every creator starts
- 1:59awkward, but consistency builds confidence, and that's
- 2:02priceless. So film your videos, even if it
- 2:04feels messy, even if it doesn't feel perfect, because your voice
- 2:08gets stronger every time you share.
- 2:10Type in the comments to claim my voice matters.
- 2:13Benefit number 2 is building streams of income.
- 2:17So by the end of those four months, I started to make a
- 2:20little trickle of income. I don't think I was monetized on
- 2:23YouTube yet, but I had posted some affiliate links in my
- 2:27YouTube descriptions. This was by number means enough
- 2:30to replace my job at the time, but it was really cool to see
- 2:33that I could make money while I was sleeping.
- 2:36So I got that first taste of passive income and the
- 2:39realization that I don't have to trade my time for money to be
- 2:44abundant. And even though it wasn't much
- 2:45money then, just a little trickle, those videos are still
- 2:48making me money today over five years later.
- 2:51So it becomes like a snowball effect.
- 2:54The videos you create now will make you money years down the
- 2:57road. And I think YouTube is the only
- 3:00platform where your posts last for that long because so many
- 3:05platforms like TikTok and Instagram, the posts have a
- 3:08really short shelf life. So you have to keep producing
- 3:10content daily because the content you create today will
- 3:14not be pushed by the algorithm a month from now.
- 3:16So if you want passive income, YouTube is the platform view.
- 3:20So start with one affiliate link.
- 3:22Now what exactly is an affiliate link?
- 3:24It's a link where if somebody clicks on it and buys the
- 3:28product you recommend, you get a Commission of that sale.
- 3:31For example, if there's an online crystal shop that you
- 3:33really like and you recommend to people, like here is the place
- 3:37to buy crystals. And you if you sign up to their
- 3:39affiliate program and somebody buys a crystal through that
- 3:42link, you get a small Commission and you only really need one.
- 3:46So think about today, which affiliate link would you use?
- 3:50What's a product that you are really obsessed with that is in
- 3:53your niche? And if you want to learn exactly
- 3:55how to do affiliate marketing and create a product like an
- 3:59online course so you can monetize your YouTube channel
- 4:01and never needing a job, then learn my exact system that I
- 4:05share in the Nomad Freedom Academy link in the description
- 4:08for a free clarity call so you can see it's a good match for
- 4:11you and to get more guidance around your business and your
- 4:13niche. The third reason why YouTube has
- 4:15been life changing for me is freedom beyond money.
- 4:19When I went to school, it was always the question, which job
- 4:23are you getting? It was never will you be an
- 4:25entrepreneur? Will you have a job?
- 4:27Will you be a housewife? So early on I had that
- 4:30conditioning that OK, after this I need to get a job.
- 4:34So I thought, OK, the coolest, most fun job surely must be to
- 4:38work at Google, where they have slides and buffets and fun
- 4:42parties. And eventually I did manifest a
- 4:45job at Google. But I felt so miserable because
- 4:48I realized I'm just as trapped. I'm here in an open plan office.
- 4:52I have to ask for permission to go on a short vacation and I'm
- 4:56spending most of my days just inside an office helping
- 5:01somebody else's dream rather than following my own dream.
- 5:04So I quit after eight months and my goal was to become a digital
- 5:08nomad because I had just read the book The Four Hour Workweek
- 5:11by Tim Ferriss. And that's what I realized that
- 5:14I want a soft life where I'm not trading my time for money.
- 5:18I think the reason why people are so obsessed with money is
- 5:21because they want more freedom and happiness.
- 5:23So they will go after these high paying jobs like stock trader,
- 5:28like investment banker, Dr. lawyer, but when they get there,
- 5:32they get burned out. They don't actually have time to
- 5:34enjoy that money. And being a YouTube gave me that
- 5:38soft life. I started earning passive
- 5:40income. The more video I created, the
- 5:42more streams of passive income from ad revenue, from core
- 5:46sales, from affiliate marketing. So I was able to slowly see my
- 5:50soft life coming together. And now I only work 4 hours a
- 5:53week. It didn't start that way in the
- 5:55beginning. You have to put in the hard work
- 5:57in the beginning to build up a successful YouTube channel.
- 5:59But eventually step back more and more because your old videos
- 6:03are bringing in income. So my action item to you is to
- 6:06define your soft life vision. What would your days look like
- 6:10if money wasn't the main driver? Stop waiting for the perfect
- 6:13plan. And if you feel like you are not
- 6:15ready, not ready to start your YouTube channel but you will one
- 6:19day in the future. My advice to you is stop waiting
- 6:22because you will regret it. You will never feel truly ready.
- 6:25I started when I was freaking out.
- 6:27I had so much going on in my life.
- 6:29I was depressed and I just not confident on camera but I did it
- 6:33anyway and I posted consistently.
- 6:35Start creating your freedom now. Your future self will thank you.
- 6:39And if you want to learn the exact business models that let
