⚡Silver's Enigma⚡: Deciphering the Future Amidst Financial Chaos‼️ · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:00
Will silver and gold save you during times of financial
• 0:05
crisis? We've got a growing level of
• 0:08
evidence pointing towards the fact that we might just be in
• 0:12
trouble As a silver and gold investor.
• 0:18
You're going to be shocked at what you learned today.
• 0:21
And what evidence do we have in the past?
• 0:24
The financial crisis do occur and how did silver and gold
• 0:28
perform during those periods? We need look no further than the
• 0:33
great financial crisis in O8, the tech bubble in the year
• 0:37
2000, and the list goes on and on.
• 0:41
Would we not be naive to think that it could never happen
• 0:44
again? But Ted, I have a pressing
• 0:47
question for you. This normalcy bias.
• 0:50
Everybody thinks that it'll never happen again.
• 0:53
Are we in a period where we'll never have another financial
• 0:57
crisis? If you're holding real money,
• 0:59
that's been God's money for thousands of years.
• 1:02
I mean, as we talked about before, Judas was paid 30 pieces
• 1:05
of silver to drop the dime on. Jesus, right?
• 1:07
That silver's still around. It doesn't disintegrate.
• 1:10
As a matter of fact, when silver goes to the bottom of the
• 1:12
Atlantic Ocean or Pacific Ocean or where it happens to be, you
• 1:15
may think it disintegrates like stock certificates or notes or
• 1:19
cash or whatever else. No, no, no.
• 1:22
There are companies that are that are situated on the Stock
• 1:25
Exchange that actually have investors to go after certain
• 1:28
sunken treasures. Now why would they go after
• 1:30
sunken treasures with silver and gold?
• 1:32
Jeez, I don't know. Can you?
• 1:35
Maybe it's because it's real money.
• 1:37
Well, we had a lot of fun things to get into today.
• 1:39
One of the things that you shared with Ron is something
• 1:41
I've never done before is to share my personal currency
• 1:44
  collection. Answer your question
• 1:46
  definitively. OK, so will we?
• 1:49
Will, the question being, are we possibly, Just possibly going to
• 1:53
have another period of financial turmoil during our lifetimes,
• 1:57
maybe during the next year, right.
• 1:59
That's what we're looking at here and and how silver and gold
• 2:02
have fared during those times. So I am going to pull up Ted's
• 2:05
currency picture. There it is, Ted, on the screen
• 2:08
right now. So folks, if we could take a
• 2:10
look at a couple of these things down in the center, OK?
• 2:13
You see the 10 million Reichmark there.
• 2:16
OK. Underneath of that, what I did
• 2:17
was I put one note on top of the other that was blank on the
• 2:21
back. The reason being is they ran out
• 2:24
of ink. They were printing so much of
• 2:25
this. So what I wanted to show you is
• 2:27
all the different currency notes that are not all of them but
• 2:30
that series of currency notes that have been used throughout
• 2:32
the world. Now if we can go, Ron, real
• 2:35
quick over to bank for International settlements
• 2:37
because I'd like you to know who issues this and who actually got
• 2:41
the silver for these notes that you are now holding that are
• 2:43
  worthless. OK.
• 2:45
So if we go over to the International Bank for
• 2:47
International Settlements, we talked about this before.
• 2:49
bis.org, I'll show you, actually creates these, these currency
• 2:55
notes is these are real. Somebody had these things, they
• 2:58
folded them up, they carried them in their back pocket and
• 3:01
they used it to buy bread or food or pay rent or pay their
• 3:04
taxes or whatever else. So if that is in fact immutable
• 3:08
wealth, what am I doing with it? Why would I invest in this?
• 3:12
So what I'm trying to tell you is if we had laid down say a
• 3:15
dime, a silver dime or any piece of silver on any one of those
• 3:19
currency notes, there's those people now would have something
• 3:23
actually worth money if they'd have been held in the money.
• 3:25
So what are we going to do here is I'd like you to follow along.
• 3:28
We're going to go to central bank hub on the on the front
• 3:30
page and then go to central bank and Monetary Authority websites
• 3:34
the second line down DD. All right, go to DD there is D
• 3:42
oh that only has two central banks.
• 3:44
Well, what I'm only wouldn't wouldn't it be nice to own the
• 3:47
central bank in in in in Denmark?
• 3:49
Or how about Dominican Republic? I hear it's warm down there
• 3:51
  right now. Is it folks?
• 3:53
Anybody tuning in for the Dominican Republic or actually
• 3:56
why don't you go on? Because what I'm understanding
• 3:59
is 44% of the people watching this are outside the United
• 4:02
States. So if you're outside the United
• 4:05
States this website will work for you too. bis.org Find out
• 4:09
who owns your currency, who owns your bank and it's the bank for
• 4:12
international settlements. So if we Scroll down some more
• 4:16
let's go past E what stopper. There it is.
• 4:19
What we're looking at here are countries, countries, folks.
• 4:23
These are countries in which the BIS provides the mandatory
• 4:27
currency in each and every one of these countries.
• 4:29
Right now, they're all Fiat. They're all ready to go away
• 4:33
exactly at the same time. And when they do, what do you
• 4:35
think happens to the bis.org, Ron?
• 4:39
It probably goes away, collapses as well.
• 4:41
I mean we're looking at this I think on a big picture level Ted
• 4:45
this this and we always pull up extras pyramid.
• 4:48
But this fact that the whole monetary system everything
• 4:53
outside of silver and gold has basically become very synthetic
• 4:57
at this point. Man made kind of like in the
• 5:00
cars and like like fake leather and a in a car and and and as we
• 5:06
as we face you know a potential for for just even parts of that
• 5:12
system falling apart that that we could see a wave of new money
• 5:15
coming into the silver and gold sector.
• 5:17
Is that is that safe to say new money.
• 5:22
How about new demand for money. OK.
• 5:24
Which is going to be satisfied in currency notes the the
• 5:28
respect for the dollar is dying. The usage of the dollar is
• 5:31
dying. But one thing is for sure is
• 5:34
that the pendulum always swings in both directions.
• 5:38
OK, so we are all Fiat right now.
• 5:41
All right? And what's going to happen is,
• 5:43
bam, that that does that, that that string is going to snap and
• 5:46
the pendulum is going to go right around and stick to the
• 5:49
other side for quite a while. Because fool me once, shame on
• 5:51
you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
• 5:53
Now we are the only country on the face of the planet here in
• 5:57
the United States whose generations have never seen a
• 6:00
currency reset. So if you go back and take a
• 6:02
look at those notes, you'll see that some of these countries
• 6:05
have had numerous iterations of currency in their country.
• 6:09
My question is, when the new currency notes come out, are you
• 6:13
redeemed for the old currency notes?
• 6:15
And why not at this point in time, forget about the script.
• 6:18
Come on folks, let's get back the basics.
• 6:21
Keep it simple and stupid. Get the money of your country,
• 6:24
the money of your country. If you're in the United States
• 6:26
of America are American Silver Eagles.
• 6:29
OK? And 365 Dimes, quarters and a
• 6:32
half dollars. So against the Dimes, silver is
• 6:35
the best place to be right now folks.
• 6:38
Ted, I want to throw something in as we're talking about this.
• 6:40
This potential right seems to be overwhelming evidence.
• 6:45
If if if we look at this from through two perspectives, #1
• 6:49
historically, which you showed with that big collection of
• 6:53
money, we can, it doesn't take much of A study of history to
• 6:56
see that that over over history currencies have collapsed,
• 6:59
  right? Especially Fiat based currencies
• 7:02
have collapsed. Now if we zoom in on right now,
• 7:06
OK, well let me back up and and we know that when those historic
• 7:10
currency crisis had erupted whether it was in England and
• 7:15
and France and Spain and the Rome are that that silver and
• 7:19
gold held their value. Silver and gold held their
• 7:22
value. So if we Fast forward to today,
• 7:25
so we know that, that history tells us now.
• 7:28
We know also that today we all suffer from normalcy bias.
• 7:32
Some people call it recency bias, like me, I'm 54 years old.
• 7:35
My parents are 80. Even them, like, they just have
• 7:39
never the bank has always been a safe place to put the money.
• 7:43
So Ron has just put up something called snowball derivatives.
• 7:46
OK, that's where we are right now.
• 7:49
And the difference between a snowball derivative and a debt
• 7:53
avalanche? A debt avalanche is when you
• 7:55
have a whole bunch of credit cards and you're making a
• 7:56
minimum payment and you try to take any extra money at the end
• 7:59
of each month to pay down the principal.
• 8:02
However, when things get real bad, what happens is the
• 8:05
investors out there, they put these, these, these bad credit
• 8:09
card debts and everything into what's called a derivative, OK?
• 8:13
And those derivatives trade within a certain range of each
• 8:16
other. But once they trade outside that
• 8:18
range, that's when the green arrows go to red and you wind up
• 8:23
with jeez, what is a very, very large snowball called.
• 8:26
I mean it's not an avalanche because that would be the side
• 8:29
of a mountain coming down. But this is, this is a a new
• 8:32
economic phenomenon that you will be hearing shortly about.
• 8:36
What the heck it is and what actually what the heck it was
• 8:39
and what it did. I'm telling you what it is
• 8:42
before it does and what it's going to affect before it does,
• 8:45
OK, It's going to affect the stock market.
• 8:48
OK. So let's go back to that other
• 8:50
slide there, Ron, and let me explain the difference between
• 8:52
snowball derivatives and a debt avalanche.
• 8:54
So the debt avalanche versus the debt snowball, a debt avalanche.
• 8:59
What that does is it prioritize and prioritizes the interest
• 9:02
rate. So obviously, let's suppose you
• 9:03
have 20 some credit cards out there, you'd want to start with
• 9:06
the highest interest rate first, OK?
• 9:08
And then pay more towards the higher interest rate each and
• 9:11
every month in order to pay it down a little bit faster.
• 9:14
That's a slow way, OK. The other way is where the
• 9:18
derivatives gently get wiped out, OK.
• 9:21
And as we had talked about before, derivatives and
• 9:25
derivative holders have a superior lien on your account
• 9:28
and this is what's called in the Dodd Frank Act, OK, as a bail
• 9:33
in. So a bail in OK as opposed to a
• 9:36
bail out. The bail out is when the
• 9:37
government comes down and bails out the banks.
• 9:40
That's not going to happen next time.
• 9:41
Next time is what's called a bail in.
• 9:43
Thank you to our sponsors. I want to start with pin backs
• 9:46
where my finger is there. Pi, MB, EX.
• 9:50
They sponsor Ron's basement online bullion dealer.
• 9:55
If you're shopping to buy silver, gold, or platinum
• 9:57
online, do yourself a favor throw them into the mix.
• 10:00
Never going to tell you what to do, but compare what you can get
• 10:04
from pembacs to what you can get from other online bullion
• 10:08
dealers. I think you'll find what I found
• 10:10
when several of you basement dwellers recommended I check out
• 10:14
pembacs. And that is, you're going to get
• 10:16
the same metal at a better price.
• 10:19
You're going to have a great selection and a great customer
• 10:21
service experience. I also want to say thank you to
• 10:24
Fortuna Silver Mines. I'll be interviewing Jorge
• 10:28
Canoza, the CEO of Fortuna Silver.
• 10:31
They just came out with their fourth quarter 2023 numbers.
• 10:36
Unbelievable amount of cash flow generated, a company that's been
• 10:40
being built over the last 20 years.
• 10:42
You can learn more about them at fortunasilver.com.
• 10:45
And of course our friends at First Mining Gold.
• 10:49
We we have Dan Wilton, the CEO, Keith Neumeyer, the founder and
• 10:54
chairman of the company 25 Million Ounce Deposits in
• 10:59
Canada. You can learn more about them at
• 11:01
firstmininggold.com. Thank you to all our sponsors
• 11:04
  for making Ron's basement possible.
• 11:06
Well, why are Bailins happening? Well, Bailins are happening
• 11:09
because Bill Clinton repealed the Glass Steagall Act.
• 11:14
Let's take a look at the Glass Steagall Act here.
• 11:16
The Glass Steagall Act was placed in effect to stop
• 11:20
commercial banks from investing in the stock market.
• 11:23
So they take deposits that are supposed to be insured and they
• 11:27
speculate in the stock market. Well, that was the cause of the
• 11:31
Great Depression because the people that had shorts and
• 11:34
margins and all that kind of stuff going on in their
• 11:36
accounts, they got out first and they, they, they took all the
• 11:39
cash. And that's why there was a Great
• 11:42
Depression. It was a a withdrawal and
• 11:44
liquidity. OK, so what's happened right now
• 11:47
is we've had the Glass Steagall Act repealed by Bill Clinton.
• 11:51
It should have never been repealed.
• 11:53
The place where you invest your safe money should not be the
• 11:55
place where you're investing in the stock market.
• 11:58
OK, so that's what's called the Glass Steagall Act and that was
• 12:01
designed to be put into place and was put in place in order to
• 12:04
stop the Great Depression remember happening again.
• 12:07
But when Bill Clinton repealed it, there we go.
• 12:10
Maybe there's a reason why Thomas Jefferson said that the
• 12:14
biggest threat to our country is not an invading army, but big
• 12:19
banks, big central banks. You know, maybe Andrew Jackson
• 12:22
was on to something with what he said about central banks and
• 12:26
banking in general, that these banks kind of can take over
• 12:31
  everything and create massive issues.
• 12:34
And then they always say, oh, it'll never happen again, right?
• 12:37
Like we talked about earlier, it'll never happen again.
• 12:39
And the one thing we knew, the one, yeah, we promised we're
• 12:43
better this time, just we may need you to bail us out in the
• 12:45
future. But the one thing we know if we
• 12:48
look throughout history again, I want to reiterate this point.
• 12:51
Silver and gold have always acted as a very effective safe
• 12:56
  harbor. Whether it's against banking
• 12:58
issues in the United States, Europe, anywhere in the world.
• 13:02
Fiat money, printing, Unicorn fart dust, whatever you want to
• 13:06
  call it. Financial shenanigans, synthetic
• 13:09
derivatives, whatever it is, silver and gold have seen the
• 13:12
story before. And they've always, always,
• 13:15
  always endured.
