- 0:01Hello and welcome. So glad you're here with me
- 0:05today. So today we're going to talk about you
- 0:08don't have to chase your intuition. So have you
- 0:11ever felt like your intuition is just kind of
- 0:14out of reach? Like you almost hear it, but not
- 0:18clearly enough to trust it. Like it's there,
- 0:21but just beyond your grasp. And no matter how
- 0:25much you try to connect, it still feels a little
- 0:28uncertain. Well, if you've ever felt that way,
- 0:33I promise you, you are not alone. But what if
- 0:37that reason of those feeling of just out of reach
- 0:41is not because your intuition is weak or blocked,
- 0:45but what if it's because you were taught to look
- 0:48for it somewhere it was never meant to be found?
- 0:53Because your intuition was never meant to be
- 0:57chased. So hello and welcome back to Just Be
- 1:04True, a soul -led podcast. I'm Summer and for
- 1:08over a decade I have helped hundreds of women
- 1:11navigate deeply transformative life experiences
- 1:15such as career transitions, grief, healing after
- 1:19major life changes like divorce and loss by reconnecting
- 1:24them with their inner voice and spiritual awareness.
- 1:27through energy healings, meditation, intuitive
- 1:31practice, and spiritual teachings, I support
- 1:34them in aligning with their truth, rebuilding
- 1:37their confidence, and learning to trust themselves
- 1:40in a whole new way. And today, we're going to
- 1:44talk about something that may shift the way you
- 1:46relate to your intuition entirely. You don't
- 1:50have to chase it. There's an idea especially
- 1:55in spiritual spaces that intuition is some Intuition
- 1:59is something that you have to reach for Something
- 2:03you have to tap into you have to strengthen you
- 2:07have to find and in that process you can unknowingly
- 2:12turn in Intuition into something that lives outside
- 2:16of us outside of you something distance something
- 2:21elusive, something we're always trying to catch
- 2:25up to. But what if your intuition was never been
- 2:28missed? What if it's something you don't need
- 2:31to chase, but something you simply need to notice?
- 2:38So let's pause here and take a different perspective
- 2:41of our intuition. So imagine intuition as a gentle
- 2:50stream flowing through the landscape of your
- 2:53consciousness. It doesn't demand attention. It
- 2:57doesn't roar like a river. It doesn't force you
- 3:01to follow it. Instead, it's quietly nourishing
- 3:05the soul of your being, waiting for you to take
- 3:09notice of its presence. And maybe that's the
- 3:13part of what makes intuition so sacred. It's
- 3:17not separate from you. It's not somewhere far
- 3:21away. It's not something outside of your body,
- 3:24your spirit, or your soul. It is already a part
- 3:28of your terrain. This stream is not something
- 3:32you need to chase. It's already following you
- 3:35through the inner landscape of who you are, subtly
- 3:39guiding you with its gentle currents. It nourishes
- 3:43the soul by reminding you of what truth beneath
- 3:47the noise is. It softens the places within you
- 3:52that have been striving for answers. And it brings
- 3:55you back into relationship with your own inner
- 3:58wisdom. Because your intuition isn't loud. It
- 4:02doesn't compete. It doesn't push. It doesn't
- 4:05demand your attention. It is subtle. It is steady.
- 4:10And it's already there. woven into your everyday
- 4:14experience. Many times it shows up in the pause
- 4:20between the response, in the feelings in your
- 4:23body that something is off, in the quiet knowing
- 4:26that doesn't need proof. But here's what happens.
- 4:32When we start chasing intuition, we move into
- 4:36a state of searching. And searching often comes
- 4:40from the belief that we don't already have what
- 4:42we need. It can create urgency, it can create
- 4:46pressure, and it can create doubt. And in that
- 4:50state, we tend to override the very thing we're
- 4:53trying to hear. Intuition isn't something that
- 4:59responds well to force. It responds to space,
- 5:04safety, and it responds to presence. So instead
- 5:09of asking, why can't I hear my intuition? Ask,
- 5:15where am I not allowing myself to be still enough
- 5:19to notice it? Now I will say, I just want to
- 5:23take a small little caveat here because in episode
- 5:26four, learning to trust the quiet seasons, that's
- 5:30much different than this. So when you are in
- 5:33a season of change, recalibration and transition,
- 5:37you may have quiet seasons where your intuition
- 5:40is readjusting to the changes that you are experiencing.
- 5:44And these are moments of intuitive growth. And
- 5:47yes, it can feel very off. So I would say if
- 5:52it would be beneficial, go back and listen to
- 5:55episode four. because if you're going through
- 5:58a transitional season and you're having those
- 6:01quiet still moments there's something happening
- 6:04there and in season four dives deeper into that
- 6:08but if you're chasing your intuition you know
- 6:11it's a completely different thing if you're searching
- 6:13for it and wondering where it's at because intuition
- 6:17gets drowned out not by his absence but by noise
- 6:23They can get drowned out by mental noise, emotional
- 6:26overwhelmed, external opinions, and the need
- 6:31to get it right. And in intuition, I'm going
- 6:33to tell you the one thing you have to know is
- 6:36that there's no proving anything to anybody.
- 6:39It either it is or it isn't. They either believe
- 6:41or they don't. It's not your job. It's not my
- 6:44job to make them believe. The only thing we can
- 6:48do is present them the information and it's up
- 6:51to them whether or not they want to accept it.
- 6:54So, you know, all in this space is not about
- 6:57making someone to believe, right? There should
- 7:00be no pressure on getting it right. It is what
- 7:02it is. And also understanding that especially
- 7:06the pressure of making decisions quickly, but
- 7:09your intuition doesn't rush you. That urgency
- 7:12you feel, the urgency that you feel around that,
- 7:15that is not intuition. That comes from fear or
- 7:19conditioning or a need for certainty. Intuition
- 7:23is grounded. Even when it asks you to take a
- 7:27leap, it carries a sense of knowing, not panic.
- 7:31Think about a time when you made a decision or
- 7:34took an action and somewhere deep within you,
- 7:38you knew it was the right step. even if your
- 7:41emotions were still catching up to it, even if
- 7:44you felt blind in the moment. For me, opening
- 7:50up this physical space for my energy healing
- 7:53and for my intuitive work has been one of those
- 7:56moments. There isn't complete proof. There isn't
- 8:01full certainty. And I don't exactly know how
- 8:04every piece of this will unfold. But underneath
- 8:10the fear, beneath the questions, beneath the
- 8:13human uncertainty, that's where the steadiness
- 8:16is. That's where it feels quiet. It's a quiet
- 8:20knowing. It says that each step is aligned with
- 8:23the next. I don't have to understand it. I just
- 8:27have to follow it and I have to take the action.
- 8:31We can know, we can be told, you may hear your
- 8:34guides or your intuition tell you you're going
- 8:37to do great things. You're going to be amazing
- 8:39at this and amazing at that. But you can't just
- 8:41sit there and wait for it to happen. You have
- 8:43to take action. That's a part of being in the
- 8:46physical is being able to take action. So just
- 8:53know that often, you know, intuition speaks.
- 8:57It's not about removing doubt. It's not about
- 9:01handling handing us and the entire path of how
- 9:05to move forward. It's about giving enough giving
- 9:09us enough inner knowing to take the next step
- 9:12to trust and Honestly, if they gave you BAM everything
- 9:16all at once Like how everything is gonna work
- 9:20and every step you would be extremely overwhelmed
- 9:22They give you enough to they give you enough
- 9:26information enough nudges enough hints along
- 9:29the way To allow you to trust the process and
- 9:33move through it and that's what it's all about
- 9:36There's also this belief that intuition should
- 9:39always be clear. I have to laugh because many
- 9:43times intuition is not clear. It should come
- 9:47that you some people believe it should come in
- 9:49full sentences or even like full paragraphs like
- 9:51a whole story laid out in front of you. Our direct
- 9:54answer are the perfect path forward but often
- 9:57not and many times not. It's just the next step.
- 10:02or it's a nudge or a feeling or a soul redirection.
- 10:07And when we're chasing that clarity we're going
- 10:10to miss the simplicity of what's already being
- 10:12shown to us. So you don't have to chase your
- 10:17intuition. You don't have to prove that you're
- 10:20intuitive. You don't have to force connection.
- 10:23You don't even have to be perfect at it. Your
- 10:27intuition is already a relationship within you.
- 10:31The real question is, are you creating the space
- 10:36to listen? And are you open to building that
- 10:40relationship between you and your intuition?
- 10:46Think about it. All of this is akin to cultivating
- 10:52a garden within yourself where silence and stillness
- 10:56allows the seeds of intuition to sprout. It's
- 10:59about recognizing the nonstop internal commentary
- 11:03that often drowns out the whispers of your inner
- 11:06voice. The planning, the analyzing, the second
- 11:10guessing, the repeating of every possible outcome.
- 11:14And by quieting this commentary, even just a
- 11:18little, you open yourself up for impressions
- 11:21of the moment. Untainted by perceived notions
- 11:28or fear or the pressure to make everything make
- 11:31sense right away. This doesn't mean you have
- 11:34to have silence in that external world completely,
- 11:40but it means learning how to find peace within
- 11:43yourself even amidst the noise. It means creating
- 11:47moments where your soul can breathe. Where your
- 11:51body can soften where your inner knowing can
- 11:54rise naturally without being forced You can you
- 12:03can definitely embrace practices that foster
- 12:06inner quietude by meditation mindful breathing
- 12:12walking journaling, placing hands over your heart,
- 12:18simply being present in the moment and fully
- 12:21being embodied in a moment, listening and feeling
- 12:24and comprehending. These practices are not about
- 12:29trying to make intuition appear. They're about
- 12:33creating the kind of inner environment where
- 12:35intuition can be noticed because when your nervous
- 12:39system feels safer your awareness becomes clear
- 12:42when your awareness becomes clear you begin to
- 12:46recognize that your intuition has been communicating
- 12:49with you all along you you just have to be aware
- 12:53of it and allow that to be brought to your attention
- 12:57and sometimes listening doesn't look like sitting
- 13:03in meditation for an hour Sometimes it looks
- 13:07like taking a breath before responding, pausing
- 13:11before saying yes, noticing how your body feels
- 13:16when you walk into a room, letting silence exist
- 13:20without feeling it, giving yourself permission
- 13:26to wait before deciding, and honoring that subtle
- 13:31not yet that arises in the body. trusting the
- 13:37soft yes that doesn't need to explain itself
- 13:40to anyone else just to you just right here you're
- 13:45gonna know it right here because intuition lives
- 13:51in those in -between moments not in the chase
- 13:55but in the presence so If you've been feeling
- 14:04disconnected from your intuition, I want to offer
- 14:07you this. You don't need to search for it. You
- 14:11don't need to try harder. You don't need to become
- 14:15someone different. You simply need to come back
- 14:19to yourself again and again, gently, without
- 14:23pressure, and without expectations. Many times
- 14:28we are way harder on ourselves than we need to
- 14:31be. Allow yourself to give yourself some grace
- 14:34and some patience. And a simple knowing that
- 14:40that intuition is there. It's just touching it.
- 14:44It's tapping into it. It's feeling it. The more
- 14:52you're grounded in your body, the more you allow
- 14:56stillness, the more you soften the need to control.
- 15:01That is when the clearer your intuition becomes,
- 15:06when you let go of all of those things. In reality,
- 15:12intuition often communicates through subtle nudges
- 15:16and feelings. It's like a soft breeze that gently
- 15:20redirects you on your path, rather than a gust
- 15:23that forces you into a new direction. It's the
- 15:26gentle signals that may always come without full
- 15:29explanation. And you may not always have logical
- 15:33sense in the beginning. They simply arrive as
- 15:37a feeling, a pull, a pause, a quiet knowing,
- 15:42a sense that something is aligned or something
- 15:44is not. And that is where the trust begins. Not
- 15:50because you have every answer, but because you
- 15:53are willing to honor the wisdom moving through
- 15:56you. Not because intuition suddenly appeared.
- 15:59but because she finally gave it space to be heard.
- 16:04And that, that's the shift. It's the shift from
- 16:08chasing to allowing, from searching to noticing,
- 16:12from questioning to trusting. Intuition thrives
- 16:16in the environment of trust and presence. It's
- 16:19not about proving your intuitive abilities or
- 16:22forcing a connection. It's about allowing intuition
- 16:26to naturally integrate into your life, like a
- 16:29melody that harmonizes with your daily rhythm.
- 16:33It becomes part of how you move, how you choose,
- 16:38how you pause, how you listen, and how you return
- 16:42to yourself. Isn't that beautiful? And from that
- 16:49place, your path doesn't feel forced. It feels
- 16:55aligned. It feels natural. It feels like something
- 16:58you don't have to chase because it's always walking
- 17:03with you. Not beside you, not outside of you,
- 17:09within you. Thank you for being here with me
- 17:18today. If this resonated with you, please take
- 17:22a moment to reflect where in your life you've
- 17:25been chasing something that's already right there,
- 17:28right there. And what would it feel like, you
- 17:33know, think about what it would feel like to
- 17:35stop chasing and just start listening. Just start
- 17:40allowing. Give up the control. I know it's hard,
- 17:47but you can do it. If you're a woman moving through
- 17:54change and remembering who you are while learning
- 17:57how to fully embody that in your life, I want
- 18:01you to know you are not alone in this journey.
