- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York.
- 0:03Speaker 2: It's the markim Own Show on seven tenor.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Hey, another summer day to day. It's gonna be beautiful outside.
- 0:13Speaker 1: It already is beautiful outside. We've got a lot to
- 0:15Speaker 1: get to. Is that Mets curse really over? I don't know.
- 0:18Speaker 1: We'll take a look at that. We'll get to President Trump,
- 0:21Speaker 1: We'll get to Iran, We'll get to jerry mandering, we'll
- 0:24Speaker 1: get to the White House correspondence dinner, We'll get to
- 0:27Speaker 1: the Southern Poverty Law Center, Propaganda Center, and a whole
- 0:32Speaker 1: lot more coming up. Now, if you hear any noise
- 0:35Speaker 1: during the show, it's bring your kids to work day.
- 0:40Speaker 1: These little monster These kids are all over the hallways,
- 0:45Speaker 1: running around, sometimes getting a little loud, so you might
- 0:47Speaker 1: hear some noise here and there. I guess it's bring
- 0:49Speaker 1: your kids to work day everywhere. And is it all
- 0:55Speaker 1: day the whole Yeah, And I saw that, Yeah, I
- 0:59Speaker 1: saw that memos like eleven to two or something. It's
- 1:01Speaker 1: not even anywhere near eleven, and they're already all here.
- 1:04Speaker 1: But and normally we have all these buffets outside. There's
- 1:10Speaker 1: the Q one O four buffet, there's the Elvis Duran buffet.
- 1:13Speaker 1: There's the Charlemagne buffet. They're all I noticed. There's no
- 1:15Speaker 1: food anywhere in this floor right now? Is that because
- 1:18Speaker 1: these little kids will eat it all up in a second.
- 1:20Speaker 1: It wouldn't last two seconds. Elvis is celebrating thirty years
- 1:27Speaker 1: on the air, oh, thirty years of the Morning Show.
- 1:29Speaker 1: But before that, of course he was a big gazy
- 1:32Speaker 1: one hundred figure and thirty years on the Morning Show.
- 1:36Speaker 1: And of course you got Jim Kurr down the hall
- 1:39Speaker 1: fifty years and all this stuff going on. So let's
- 1:44Speaker 1: get to everything going on in the world. Let's just
- 1:47Speaker 1: quickly run down and ran two. We like to instead
- 1:50Speaker 1: of you having to read a million articles watch a
- 1:53Speaker 1: thousand shows, we just boil it all down, give you
- 1:55Speaker 1: exactly what you need to know with some inside stuff
- 1:58Speaker 1: thrown in. Save you a lot of time listening to
- 2:01Speaker 1: this show. So right now, the Strait of Hormoose is
- 2:05Speaker 1: under our control, despite what Iran says we're controlling the
- 2:09Speaker 1: Strait of Hormose. Iran is putting out videos pretending that
- 2:12Speaker 1: they have some authority in the strait, showing them attacking
- 2:16Speaker 1: a couple of boats. They were little, tiny boats, not
- 2:19Speaker 1: our boats. One was, I don't know they were from
- 2:21Speaker 1: two little obscure boats were in the Strait and Iran
- 2:25Speaker 1: attacked them, were not able to do much to them.
- 2:29Speaker 1: They put out these videos trying to look like ferocious,
- 2:33Speaker 1: like the most incredible military operation, showing them boarding the ship,
- 2:38Speaker 1: but you'll see them online the worst videos you've ever seen.
- 2:43Speaker 1: The couple of Iranians trying to board the ship, throw
- 2:46Speaker 1: a ladder up, it's like a rope ladder, and try
- 2:49Speaker 1: to climb up on this rope ladder that looks like
- 2:52Speaker 1: a bunch of kids made it. And they have these
- 2:54Speaker 1: uniforms with these masks, look like they're cheap, little Halloween
- 2:58Speaker 1: costume military. So it's quite pathetic. Actually, do you see
- 3:03Speaker 1: the video that we put out when we took that
- 3:05Speaker 1: tanker the other day, first missile we fired went right
- 3:09Speaker 1: through the engine, completely disabling the ship. Helicopters over the
- 3:13Speaker 1: ship are marines and seals repelled down out of the
- 3:17Speaker 1: deck of the ship. The entire deck of the entire
- 3:20Speaker 1: ships US military standing under was much more impressive. Who's
- 3:23Speaker 1: actually running this The commander right now, his name as Vahidi,
- 3:31Speaker 1: and he's a bad guy. He's you know, when we
- 3:33Speaker 1: began the war. We took out the top forty one
- 3:37Speaker 1: leaders of Iran all at once. We were having a meeting.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Didn't think we'd know about it. We blew them all
- 3:45Speaker 1: up in one second. The whole leadership of rand blown
- 3:48Speaker 1: up the first day, forty one of them, and that
- 3:51Speaker 1: included the leaders of the awful Revolutionary Guard. So down
- 3:57Speaker 1: the totem pole, about six levels down is this guy,
- 4:00Speaker 1: General Ahmad Vahiti. He's sixty seven years old, so he
- 4:03Speaker 1: is now the highest ranking member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard,
- 4:08Speaker 1: the IRGC. He has taken control of the country because
- 4:12Speaker 1: he has control of all the military, not the military,
- 4:15Speaker 1: but the Republican Guard and the weapons. So he's in control.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Even the political leadership can't really do much about him.
- 4:22Speaker 1: He's a real extremist, crazy terrorist radical. Remember Solomoni who
- 4:27Speaker 1: we took out. This was his partner and all that stuff,
- 4:31Speaker 1: the terrorism around the world. So he's basically in charge
- 4:33Speaker 1: right now. It's just a matter of time before he's killed.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I imagine he's staying way underground and bunkers that sort of stuff.
- 4:42Speaker 1: But at some point you're going to wake up one
- 4:44Speaker 1: morning and find out we killed him. Very very bad guy.
- 4:48Speaker 1: The talks continue. I don't know what will happen with them.
- 4:51Speaker 1: We've taken out the entire Iranian navy that was one
- 4:55Speaker 1: hundred and fifty nine ships. The whole navy is gone.
- 4:58Speaker 1: They do not have a navy. They got these little
- 5:01Speaker 1: tiny boats. We call them mosquito boats because they're very
- 5:04Speaker 1: tiny and annoying. They're little speed boats and they're equipped
- 5:08Speaker 1: with bombs and explosives and that sort of stuff. Some
- 5:11Speaker 1: with rocket launchers, some with just TNT dynamite on them,
- 5:17Speaker 1: and they all up and down the coast. They're hidden,
- 5:21Speaker 1: they're hidden in caves, they're hidden in little places like that.
- 5:25Speaker 1: It's believed there could be as much as fifteen hundred
- 5:27Speaker 1: of them, but let's say there's a thousand of them.
- 5:30Speaker 1: US Navy right now. Anytime they see anything like that,
- 5:33Speaker 1: they just blow it up instantly, So anyone that appears
- 5:36Speaker 1: out of a cave or off the shore immediately immediately
- 5:40Speaker 1: blown up. Now they're little. They call them mosquito boats
- 5:43Speaker 1: because they're like mosquitoes. They can't really hurt you, but
- 5:45Speaker 1: they're quite annoying and they pinch you here and there.
- 5:49Speaker 1: But it's enough for the insurance companies to not allow
- 5:55Speaker 1: the tankers to go. We could allow tankers to take
- 5:57Speaker 1: oil and move back and forth in the Strait, but
- 6:00Speaker 1: they have to have insurance, and the main insurance Lloyd's
- 6:02Speaker 1: in London. So right now Lloyd's of London will not
- 6:05Speaker 1: ensure any of the tankers because of these little mosquito boats.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Even if they don't do much, and even if they
- 6:10Speaker 1: just you know, send a little explosive at the side
- 6:15Speaker 1: of your ship, it's enough to the insurance company doesn't
- 6:18Speaker 1: want have to pay for it. You know, you get
- 6:19Speaker 1: a bill for a million to fix it, and they
- 6:22Speaker 1: don't want to do that. So but otherwise we have
- 6:25Speaker 1: total control of the Straight of hornm Moose. The US
- 6:27Speaker 1: Navy is blockading it. As long as it's blockaded, Iran's
- 6:32Speaker 1: economy has absolutely stopped. They have no economy. All their
- 6:36Speaker 1: revenue comes from the Straight of Hormoose five hundred million
- 6:39Speaker 1: a day, about thirteen fifteen, about fifteen billion a month.
- 6:44Speaker 1: They got enough money in reserve to go for another
- 6:48Speaker 1: few weeks. Some think of maybe a month or two,
- 6:51Speaker 1: and then they're completely out of cash. So you'll see
- 6:54Speaker 1: now this whole Iran thing, Hey, it's a hell of
- 6:57Speaker 1: a gamble. Now, you gotta remember, forget all the democratic propaganda,
- 7:02Speaker 1: forget the fake news propaganda. The truth is an Iran.
- 7:06Speaker 1: What we're doing there is what everybody on every side
- 7:10Speaker 1: of the aisle, every president ever in the last forty
- 7:12Speaker 1: five years. It's what everybody wanted. But the reason nobody
- 7:18Speaker 1: did it. It's a hell of a gamble trying to
- 7:20Speaker 1: pull it off. But you got Donald Trump, who's a
- 7:24Speaker 1: business guy, and business guy billionaire entrepreneurs are risk takers.
- 7:28Speaker 1: They'll take those kind of gambles, where as a professional
- 7:31Speaker 1: politician won't do it. So we'll see. You got to
- 7:35Speaker 1: figure in the end it'll pay off. I mean, they
- 7:37Speaker 1: really have no cards left. They got these little, tiny
- 7:40Speaker 1: mosquito boats and that's about it. If they had any
- 7:44Speaker 1: big secret, something that could unleash on us, you would
- 7:47Speaker 1: have seen it already. So hey, the other thing people
- 7:52Speaker 1: are talking about is the jerry mandering. Democrats have been
- 7:55Speaker 1: successful in a couple of places, Texas and now Virginia
- 7:58Speaker 1: with that jerry mandering. Republicans do the same thing. So
- 8:03Speaker 1: the focus now on Florida and they may just jerry
- 8:08Speaker 1: mander a little there, wipe out some Democratic seats in Florida.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Republicans have total control of the government in Florida. So
- 8:15Speaker 1: Hakeem Jeffries, the low IQ, goofy leader of the House Democrats,
- 8:21Speaker 1: Hakim Jeffries is threatening Florida.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Or message to Florida Republicans is f around and find
- 8:28Speaker 3: out if they go down the road of a DeSantis
- 8:31Speaker 3: dummy mander, the Florida Republicans are gonna find themselves in
- 8:35Speaker 3: the same situation as Texas Republicans who are on the
- 8:40Speaker 3: run right now and under no circumstances. Are Texas Republicans
- 8:44Speaker 3: picking up five seats, they'll be fortunate if they get
- 8:48Speaker 3: two or three.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Yeah, he's not good at sounding tough. When you talk
- 8:54Speaker 1: like this, when you sound like a robot and your
- 8:57Speaker 1: voice cracks, it's hard to sound tough. But they wrote
- 9:00Speaker 1: him up some lines instead of Jerry Manner. He says
- 9:03Speaker 1: dummy managering. That's supposed to be good and f around
- 9:05Speaker 1: and find out that's a Trump expression or Republican expression.
- 9:09Speaker 1: So he's using that now. Is Florida afraid of Jeffreys
- 9:14Speaker 1: coming down there? Jeffrey says he'll come down there and
- 9:16Speaker 1: try to Jerry Manner. Well, is Florida fraid. Here's Ron DeSantis.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Oh Florida, can you do? We're gonna go after Florida.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Please be my guest. I will pay for you to
- 9:26Speaker 2: come down to Florida and campaign. I'll put you up
- 9:29Speaker 2: in the Florida Governor's mansion. We'll take you fishing, We'll
- 9:33Speaker 2: do all this stuff. There's nothing that could be better
- 9:36Speaker 2: for Republicans in Florida than to see Jeffries, Hakeem Jeffries
- 9:42Speaker 2: everywhere around this state. I kind of feel bad for
- 9:45Speaker 2: the guy because he's as left as they come. He's
- 9:48Speaker 2: always going left, and yet the far left hates him.
- 9:51Speaker 2: You know, they call him a dollar store Obama, they
- 9:54Speaker 2: call him apac secure, all these different derogatory names that
- 9:58Speaker 2: they do, and so he's trying to ingratiate himself with
- 10:01Speaker 2: their but they're just not drinking the kool aid.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Yeah. So, now, Ron DeSantis doesn't always sound that snappy.
- 10:08Speaker 1: He's not the greatest talker, but when it comes to
- 10:11Speaker 1: Hakeem Jefferies, that's an easy target. So don't worry about Florida. Now,
- 10:17Speaker 1: just a note for the the jentas of mar A Lago.
- 10:21Speaker 1: You know, if you go to mar A Lago, this ballroom.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Every weekends, these old ladies all dressed up. Are you
- 10:26Speaker 1: that crowd? They're very upset. I forget what was three
- 10:31Speaker 1: weeks Three weeks ago, something was going on. The President
- 10:33Speaker 1: had to remain in Washington, so there's not much going
- 10:36Speaker 1: on during the weekend Palm Beach. But on the weekend
- 10:39Speaker 1: they're all at mar Alago waiting for Trump to be
- 10:41Speaker 1: there a Friday night and all day Saturday and Sunday,
- 10:43Speaker 1: and they all chase him around the room. And then
- 10:46Speaker 1: last weekend he was not there. So something big last
- 10:50Speaker 1: weekend he couldn't be there. This weekend coming up, it's
- 10:54Speaker 1: the White House Correspondence Dinner and for the first time
- 10:57Speaker 1: ever as president, President Trump go to the correspondence dinner.
- 11:01Speaker 1: So that's three weeks of no Trump at Mar a
- 11:06Speaker 1: Lago three weeks now and those old ladies getting very upset. Now,
- 11:12Speaker 1: when is Mother's Day? Is that in two weeks or
- 11:14Speaker 1: three weeks? Marlago closes on Mother's Day, closes for the
- 11:18Speaker 1: year because you can't be in Palm Beach in the summer.
- 11:21Speaker 1: It's just too hot. So it closes. Mother's Day reopens
- 11:24Speaker 1: around Halloween. So just a warning those oldientas from mar Laga.
- 11:30Speaker 1: They all come up here for the summer, so starting
- 11:34Speaker 1: the middle of May, you're going to see it. They'll
- 11:35Speaker 1: all be back clogging up all our restaurants here. Now
- 11:38Speaker 1: the White House Correspondence dinner, they've canceled the comedian this year.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Usually they have a comedian. It's always a left wing
- 11:47Speaker 1: John Stewart. Who's that the idiot they have on the
- 11:49Speaker 1: week at John Oliver kind of a you know, partisan,
- 11:54Speaker 1: a ridiculously partisan comedian who only attacks one set. It
- 11:57Speaker 1: wasn't always that way. Years ago, it was balanced. They'd
- 12:00Speaker 1: have like a Jay Leno did it, they do both sides.
- 12:04Speaker 1: But then they went totally partisan once Trump came. And
- 12:08Speaker 1: because of that, because it was so partisan, so over
- 12:10Speaker 1: the top Trump derangement syndrome, Trump wouldn't go as president.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I don't blame him, but he's gonna go this year,
- 12:17Speaker 1: and a deal has been made. There'll be no left wing, angry,
- 12:21Speaker 1: hate filled, left wing comedian. The big star act will
- 12:24Speaker 1: be a mentalist Oz. He's very good, very good. He
- 12:30Speaker 1: really gets standing ovations. But this is the worst audience
- 12:35Speaker 1: in the world. It's all the fake news, it's the
- 12:37Speaker 1: White House Correspondence, it's all the MSNBC, CNN types. You know,
- 12:43Speaker 1: they're just so it filled with hate and jaded, and
- 12:45Speaker 1: they're not kind of pay any attention to Oz. Now,
- 12:48Speaker 1: President Trump will then speak. Now, he's the best roaster
- 12:53Speaker 1: ever in politics. He's a professionally trained roaster. You know,
- 12:59Speaker 1: everybody's been to a roaster too, but he I remember
- 13:02Speaker 1: him and I'd say twenty five now more than a
- 13:04Speaker 1: thirty five forty friars roast. Those are the most that's
- 13:08Speaker 1: the major league of roasting. He was brilliant in those.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Then he was in those Comedy Central roasts, the Al
- 13:14Speaker 1: Smith dinner, which is a very very formal, fancy white
- 13:19Speaker 1: tie and tales kind of but in November he was there.
- 13:22Speaker 1: It's really kind of a roast. He got up and
- 13:24Speaker 1: he just tore apart everybody in the room. It was hysterical.
- 13:28Speaker 1: It was funny. Even Democrats had to laugh, it was
- 13:31Speaker 1: so funny. So he's a great roaster. So he will
- 13:33Speaker 1: go after all of these fake news figures in the room. Now,
- 13:39Speaker 1: there's a letter that's been signed by two hundred and
- 13:42Speaker 1: fifty journalists, as they call themselves, Dan Rather and all
- 13:47Speaker 1: the old guys of Sam Donaldson. They've all signed it
- 13:50Speaker 1: that we must forcibly oppose him at the dinner. I
- 13:54Speaker 1: don't know what that means, forcibly opposed him. I don't
- 13:58Speaker 1: think they mean physically. I think they mean boo or
- 14:02Speaker 1: scream or heck or something like that. Bill O'Reilly, I
- 14:05Speaker 1: remember he was on the show yesterday or Tuesday. He
- 14:08Speaker 1: said he's going down there and he'll be the bouncer.
- 14:10Speaker 1: If anybody starts any trouble, don't laugh. Bill O'Reilly used
- 14:15Speaker 1: to be a professional bouncer. He was a real bouncer
- 14:19Speaker 1: at some pretty tough places as a remember the wreck Bar.
- 14:24Speaker 1: At the wreck Bar in Miami way back when was
- 14:28Speaker 1: like the how do you describe it? It was a rough,
- 14:33Speaker 1: rough club. It was like a very hot club, but
- 14:35Speaker 1: it was actually owned by the mob. But he he
- 14:39Speaker 1: was the bouncer there. So and Jimmy Kimmel has been
- 14:43Speaker 1: behind the scenes begging to be the comedian at this
- 14:46Speaker 1: year's White House Correspondence dinner. They want nothing to do
- 14:48Speaker 1: with Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel arguing that him and Trump in
- 14:52Speaker 1: the same room would be the biggest ratings thing in
- 14:54Speaker 1: the world. But it's not about Ray. This is not
- 14:56Speaker 1: a TV show. It's a gala for the been doing
- 15:00Speaker 1: it for years. They do run it on the c
- 15:03Speaker 1: Span and in the last few years, Fox and other
- 15:06Speaker 1: cable networks would show it. But it's not a They
- 15:08Speaker 1: don't care about ratings, so there's no Kimmel. It's a
- 15:11Speaker 1: big event. All week they have a big events. It's
- 15:15Speaker 1: like the Oscars or the Grammys. The week leading up
- 15:17Speaker 1: to it, there's a million parties, so they're already all
- 15:20Speaker 1: in DC going to these parties. Last night was the
- 15:22Speaker 1: French Embassy, these black tie parties, all these daytime lunches,
- 15:27Speaker 1: and so it'll be this Saturday. It should be pretty explosive.
- 15:31Speaker 1: So we got a lot to get to today. Hey,
- 15:34Speaker 1: the Mets curse. Some think it's over it because they
- 15:37Speaker 1: won last night. Although they won the game, but they
- 15:43Speaker 1: had a player, an important player, seriously injured. He'll be
- 15:46Speaker 1: out for a while, So I don't know. Is that
- 15:47Speaker 1: still the curse could be. And let's say they now
- 15:51Speaker 1: start losing another couple of games. You know, before the
- 15:56Speaker 1: Mom Donnie Mister Met incident, they were they won seven
- 16:01Speaker 1: out of eleven. Now let's say this period they win
- 16:05Speaker 1: one out of eighteen. That sounds like the curse is
- 16:07Speaker 1: still there, so we'll see. We'll take some calls in
- 16:11Speaker 1: a minute. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 16:15Speaker 1: is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 16:19Speaker 1: ten
