Teen Arrested in Oakland Shooting | Oakland News
A 21-year-old Oakland man lost his life in a Sunday morning shooting outside a El Cerrito restaurant. Police quickly zeroed in on an 18-year-old suspect, Jacari Talifero Gibson, who was arrested Monday and charged with murder and robbery. Investigators also tracked down the gray 2016+ Nissan Maxima used in the getaway via license plate readers, leading to its recovery in Vallejo. Two more suspects — the shooter and the driver — remain at large. Authorities urge anyone with information to call El Cerrito PD at 510-237-3233 as they continue piecing together the night’s events.
