- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to Ryan Air on Air with
- 0:06Speaker 2: a Ryan Seacrest, My Seacrest with You, Dodgers Opening Week
- 0:12Speaker 2: tickets to win, Universal tickets to win, so very exciting.
- 0:16Speaker 2: We come with things to give you. Cistiny, Tanya, good morning,
- 0:19Speaker 2: great to see you.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Good morning, good to see you too, good morning. Coming
- 0:23Speaker 3: in with that energy, let's go. Yeah, I know it's
- 0:25Speaker 3: the sustaining the energy that can be the trick. Sustaining
- 0:28Speaker 3: about you know, I predict coming in this hot right now,
- 0:31Speaker 3: feeling so good, I'll probably crash about four.
- 0:35Speaker 4: Sounds about right.
- 0:35Speaker 5: That's a normal time to crash that It's fine.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I'm just not a big talker after five o'clock, really not.
- 0:43Speaker 5: I'm with you.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I think some reason one of my when I think
- 0:46Speaker 2: back to a relationship I had, I remember one of
- 0:48Speaker 2: the things that we talked about was how I don't
- 0:51Speaker 2: talk much.
- 0:53Speaker 6: Wait wait wait wait wait wait oh, you don't talk
- 0:54Speaker 6: much in the relationship.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I mean at the end of the day, I get it.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I know this hole that would drive me nuts, this
- 1:04Speaker 2: whole generation of let's talk about it all. I don't know, Tony.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I really give Robbie credit because I can't imagine all
- 1:13Speaker 2: this stuff he has to talk about. That kind of
- 1:15Speaker 2: works all day.
- 1:16Speaker 7: We'll get home at the end of the day and
- 1:17Speaker 7: I'll ask how our days go, and his is just
- 1:21Speaker 7: like I went to work and now I'm here.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean twelve hours in between.
- 1:26Speaker 2: The one thing I always asked in the morning, Hey,
- 1:30Speaker 2: good morning. How'd you sleep good? All right? Great, I'll
- 1:33Speaker 2: see you tomorrow. I'll see itrow. How do you sleep
- 1:39Speaker 2: all right? How do you sleep great? All right? Thanks
- 1:41Speaker 2: for coming to see you tomorrow.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Makes coffee. How's the coffee? Is it good today?
- 1:48Speaker 1: Is it good?
- 1:48Speaker 2: Is it strong? Yeah? Actually I can't talk before coffee either. Oh.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I shouldn't make decisions before coffee. These are all things
- 1:56Speaker 2: should be thinking about right now as you wake up
- 1:57Speaker 2: this morning, New day, fresh start, Let's go, day, fresh start,
- 2:01Speaker 2: Let's go. I love that one preds on one on
- 2:04Speaker 2: two point seven. It's kids FM. I'm interested in getting
- 2:07Speaker 2: your feedback on this, Sisney, Tanya intern Sofia, we're here.
- 2:11Speaker 2: But uh, I learned this. I learned so much from
- 2:13Speaker 2: doing this show. But I learned from you that it's
- 2:16Speaker 2: not always not complicated to be you. Sistney Tanya, this
- 2:19Speaker 2: is not not complicated, right, It can be complicated sometimes.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I think we as humans are complicated at sometimes true.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Ruby brought this in. She said, the cost of being
- 2:28Speaker 2: actually of being a woman in twenty twenty six is up.
- 2:30Speaker 2: It's not cheap, right, So the cost of being a
- 2:34Speaker 2: woman probably less than the cost of being a guy.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't have the guy research, but
- 2:38Speaker 2: I did read this on average, This for women, doctor
- 2:43Speaker 2: visits on average over turner Bucks, skincare over turner Box. Yeah,
- 2:48Speaker 2: hygiene products over tuner Bus, vitamins over turner Bucks, prescriptions
- 2:53Speaker 2: almost two hundy. The problem is this past year a
- 2:56Speaker 2: price for all those things have gone up. Hygiene products
- 2:59Speaker 2: are up nearly sixty It's crazy. This is what I
- 3:02Speaker 2: want to get you. What's the sum like when you
- 3:04Speaker 2: add it all up. The average woman spends over sixteen
- 3:08Speaker 2: hundred dollars annually on you. You're just that stuff you
- 3:11Speaker 2: gotta have every day. That's a lot.
- 3:14Speaker 6: And that's just like the physical cost. Then there's the mental.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Load that we all carry as I.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Because tell me about the cost of the mental load.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I want to know.
- 3:24Speaker 6: That is just infinity. It just keeps going and going,
- 3:26Speaker 6: and going and going and going.
- 3:28Speaker 5: It never ends.
- 3:29Speaker 2: And I get to come in and draft off the
- 3:34Speaker 2: wisdom and the knowledge and the energy that is Usssanyat,
- 3:38Speaker 2: that is utanya for how long decades?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 3:41Speaker 7: At this point you spend like three dollars on a
- 3:43Speaker 7: on like a shaver, and you look great.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Actually I don't even spend it three dollars. I borrow hers. Yeah,
- 3:51Speaker 2: it's got much more gel stuff on the tip.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Oh man.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Coming up next, just saying respect. Thanks. So this is interesting.
- 4:01Speaker 2: You think you caught Michael red handed at home sneaking
- 4:03Speaker 2: in your dog diego to the bed. And there's a rule,
- 4:06Speaker 2: no dog's in the bed, right, No dog's in the bed.
- 4:08Speaker 2: It's a very simple rule.
- 4:09Speaker 6: Even when we had Dakota and Gypsy, which was the
- 4:11Speaker 6: tiniest dogs ever, they were not even allowed on the bed.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Why are you so rigid about this? Because I don't
- 4:18Speaker 2: mind Georgie in my bed until I have to sleep.
- 4:20Speaker 2: That's well.
- 4:21Speaker 6: Also, diego sheds, so that's like an added layer. And
- 4:25Speaker 6: we have white linen or white sheets and things like that,
- 4:28Speaker 6: and so I don't I don't prefer to have dog
- 4:30Speaker 6: hair in my bed. In addition to that, over it
- 4:33Speaker 6: I can't get over that, and it's just I can't,
- 4:35Speaker 6: Like it's already like around the house and I get
- 4:38Speaker 6: stuck to my leggings and things like that, and I'm
- 4:40Speaker 6: used to that, fine, but the bed is like sacred.
- 4:43Speaker 2: So you think he's sneaking in your dog.
- 4:45Speaker 6: So I know he's sneaking in my dog because I
- 4:47Speaker 6: wake up before him and.
- 4:48Speaker 5: I caught him.
- 4:49Speaker 6: Like they're literally spooning on the other side of the
- 4:51Speaker 6: bed like together, like he's in a relationship with them
- 4:54Speaker 6: and not me.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Well, forgive me for not understanding how it works when
- 4:58Speaker 2: you're in a relationship. But aren't you in to bed
- 5:00Speaker 2: with him?
- 5:01Speaker 5: Yes, we have a big bed and I'm on the
- 5:03Speaker 5: other bed.
- 5:04Speaker 2: It can only be so big with two a dog
- 5:06Speaker 2: human beings. Yeah, I don't.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Take up much space. I am in my little section.
- 5:10Speaker 2: You're telling me that your husband lets Diego come up
- 5:12Speaker 2: into the bed while you were sound asleep and then
- 5:15Speaker 2: gets Diego out of the bed before you wake up.
- 5:16Speaker 5: No, he has not.
- 5:17Speaker 6: Gotten Diego out of the bed before I wake up.
- 5:19Speaker 6: That's where I've caught him.
- 5:20Speaker 2: You see Diego in the bed when you wake up.
- 5:21Speaker 6: Yes, but this is like an ongoing thing because it's
- 5:24Speaker 6: it's actually new and it's ongoing now because Diego used
- 5:27Speaker 6: to sleep in the hallway and then we realized Diego
- 5:30Speaker 6: was roam in the house throughout the night and getting
- 5:32Speaker 6: into things, and so then now we had to, like,
- 5:34Speaker 6: you know, bring him into our bedroom.
- 5:36Speaker 2: So he's more just to take an ambient what's going on?
- 5:38Speaker 5: You know what he does? I think he just likes
- 5:40Speaker 5: to roam, and then he was starting to get.
- 5:41Speaker 6: Into stuff, and so we're like, okay, we need to
- 5:43Speaker 6: you know, almost like create aim into our room.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I'm gonna take the forty thousand foot approach to this.
- 5:48Speaker 2: What is that You're not allowed to complain? Why not
- 5:51Speaker 2: because you're sleeping so well, yeah, I guess anybody it
- 5:54Speaker 2: sleeps as well as you sleep that doesn't even hear
- 5:56Speaker 2: the dog get up into the bed. You can't complain
- 5:59Speaker 2: dog getting exactly such a blessing. You have no idea,
- 6:04Speaker 2: You have no place complaining when you sleep that.
- 6:08Speaker 6: Well, I fall asleep and I wake up when my
- 6:10Speaker 6: alarm goes off in the morning.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Well, you are a blessed soul?
- 6:13Speaker 5: Really?
- 6:14Speaker 8: Yes?
- 6:14Speaker 2: Oh, come toss and turn with the rest of America.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Are you really?
- 6:18Speaker 5: Wow?
- 6:19Speaker 4: I would feel it.
- 6:20Speaker 7: I would feel a ten pound dog get in my
- 6:22Speaker 7: bed in the middle of Is it because I take
- 6:23Speaker 7: Magneesy mid night?
- 6:25Speaker 2: No, I don't know. I don't know what you take,
- 6:27Speaker 2: but I an it's a bitsy spider crawls up my
- 6:30Speaker 2: leg and I feel it.
- 6:30Speaker 5: No way, Oh no, I'm the heaviest sleep ever.
- 6:34Speaker 2: I don't hear about it. It makes me feel inadequate.
- 6:38Speaker 2: All right? Coming up next, there's a type of music
- 6:39Speaker 2: that's gonna get you going. It's gonna pump you up.
- 6:41Speaker 2: If you got to get into work. You gotta get going.
- 6:43Speaker 2: You gotta get your mind right for a workout. Next
- 6:45Speaker 2: one or two point FM. This is if you're one
- 6:48Speaker 2: of the gym if you use music to pump yourself
- 6:51Speaker 2: up before a game at a gym, whatever, anything I do,
- 6:54Speaker 2: you gotta have big bass. Big bass. Science says big bass.
- 6:57Speaker 2: We feel stronger as humans after listening to big bass music.
- 7:01Speaker 2: What's the big bass music that we're playing right now?
- 7:03Speaker 2: This like turn a base up on that. What's that
- 7:10Speaker 2: tempo is good?
- 7:11Speaker 6: Or Harry Styles aperture has a lot of bass.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Got a lot of bass, bad Bunny. This one here's
- 7:17Speaker 2: bas big bass. It's just bas Base based Base love it.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Also take mcreay. This one's got bass too, Base try
- 7:27Speaker 2: your bass to burn some more calories with the bass.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Today's quote Sisney Tanya intern Sophia, this is really good.
- 7:35Speaker 2: So are you ready?
- 7:36Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, built up?
- 7:39Speaker 2: If you're afraid to turn the page, remember you are
- 7:44Speaker 2: the author. That's right, you get it, Sophia. Yeah, I
- 7:49Speaker 2: like that, Tany.
- 7:50Speaker 4: You like it? Excellent job today.
- 7:53Speaker 5: I don't like it. I love it.
- 7:57Speaker 2: So Gordon Ramsey of you, ye like the big reveal
- 8:01Speaker 2: of a finale.
- 8:02Speaker 7: Freeze like this is incredibly horribly amazing.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Yes, I don't like it. I love it. Tonight in
- 8:10Speaker 2: all New Hell's Kitchen, Brina a carpenter on a Kiss

- 8:15Speaker 2: date updates in a second first Sysney with the headline

- 8:21Speaker 6: The Santa Wanica peret Ferris Wheel will go dark Saturday
- 8:24Speaker 6: night as part of Earth Hour, joining thousands of landmarks
- 8:28Speaker 6: around the world promoting energy conservation and climate action. The
- 8:32Speaker 6: city of La is excted to take the first steps
- 8:35Speaker 6: in erasing, says Er Chavas's name from a number of monuments, schools,
- 8:39Speaker 6: and programs. In response to accusations of abuse, Disney dropped
- 8:43Speaker 6: the new trailer for the live action Mulwana, with Dwayne
- 8:46Speaker 6: Johnson returning as Maui, and.
- 8:49Speaker 5: The UCLA women's basketball team beat.
- 8:51Speaker 6: Oklahoma State yesterday to advance to the Sweet sixteen.
- 8:55Speaker 2: So can we just get into this for a second? Okay?
- 8:58Speaker 2: Solo Martinez, the daughter of Tim Martinez, who has worked
- 9:02Speaker 2: here forever, is back in the back room now. When
- 9:07Speaker 2: you send somebody a text and I need help on this.
- 9:09Speaker 2: This is truly genuinely coming from me. When you send
- 9:12Speaker 2: someone a text and they send back okay or k
- 9:14Speaker 2: or kk or oka a, why what is the difference
- 9:18Speaker 2: in all of those okays? Is there a difference in
- 9:20Speaker 2: those okays?
- 9:21Speaker 5: There is a massive difference. It's all about tone all
- 9:24Speaker 5: like you can hear the person through your phone.
- 9:26Speaker 2: So okay, just oh and a K is like you're annoyed? Well,
- 9:32Speaker 2: is this something that we don't know? I mean, hallod
- 9:35Speaker 2: are you?
- 9:35Speaker 1: I didn't know?
- 9:36Speaker 2: Okay? But are there different definitions okay for all of
- 9:39Speaker 2: you and your friends and us, Because to me, it's
- 9:41Speaker 2: like if you say okay, it's like thumbs up. Got it. Okay,
- 9:43Speaker 2: what's all the different stuff for? What does KK mean?
- 9:46Speaker 5: KK is just like yeah, good CAK is the best one?
- 9:49Speaker 1: You want?
- 9:50Speaker 5: Want to get that?
- 9:50Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's that's like a cool one.
- 9:54Speaker 5: I never do that.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Oh, people do it to me, and I find it annoying. Really,
- 9:59Speaker 2: I don't know. I was cute. I'm like, can't you
- 10:02Speaker 2: hit the O? Like what's with you? Only if you
- 10:04Speaker 2: don't have enough time to hit one more letter or the.
- 10:07Speaker 5: Same amount of letters?
- 10:08Speaker 2: Okay, what about just one K?
- 10:10Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, like, don't talk to me. I'm really yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 4: That would send me.
- 10:14Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, I think I K a lot. That's
- 10:17Speaker 5: not good.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Just to break through the confusion and get some clarity.
- 10:22Speaker 2: If someone sends me a text, then I say the
- 10:24Speaker 2: letter oh and the letter K, which I mean cool, Okay,
- 10:28Speaker 2: got it, that's what I mean. What does that mean?
- 10:30Speaker 2: If I say okay, it.
- 10:31Speaker 5: Honestly seems dismissive.
- 10:33Speaker 7: No way, She's so right because Mark does this a
- 10:38Speaker 7: lot with like work stuff, and he'll respond with like
- 10:40Speaker 7: a K, and then I'll spiral.
- 10:42Speaker 4: I'm like, was it bad?
- 10:43Speaker 6: Was it?
- 10:43Speaker 2: Could I do better?
- 10:44Speaker 9: Like?
- 10:44Speaker 2: I like, ok, I must mean super pissed. Yes, K
- 10:47Speaker 2: with period. This is all fascinating to me.
- 10:51Speaker 6: No, what about fine? You do fine a lot? And
- 10:53Speaker 6: I'm just like, oh, that's even worse.
- 10:59Speaker 2: That's demeaning, Like on my case, should I do this report?
- 11:01Speaker 1: Maybe?
- 11:01Speaker 2: Like do you think this would work?
- 11:02Speaker 6: Fine?
- 11:03Speaker 4: Fine?
- 11:04Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, how do you look today? Fine? How
- 11:07Speaker 2: are you feeling fine? Oh? Mark?
- 11:10Speaker 4: Yeah, Mark, it's a lesson. Lolo help him?
- 11:13Speaker 5: I really need Yeah.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Okay, no, no, no, okay KK? All right, just just
- 11:20Speaker 2: can we just go back to the basics of oh
- 11:22Speaker 2: and K I mean yeah, no kiss? Second date update? Man,
- 11:28Speaker 2: do you feel like you can't get to the bottom
- 11:29Speaker 2: of something after you go out with somebody? Theyre just
- 11:31Speaker 2: you can't get the answer, You're not getting a response.
- 11:33Speaker 2: They goes to all that stuff causes anxiety. So question,
- 11:39Speaker 2: is it awkward to go on a first date on
- 11:40Speaker 2: somebody's birthday? This dude on the line, his name is Andre. Yes,
- 11:44Speaker 2: he did that with someone he works with, and now
- 11:47Speaker 2: he says she's gone cold. So let me grab Andre
- 11:51Speaker 2: and think about going out on the first day on
- 11:53Speaker 2: someone's birthday. Andre, did you actually take this person out
- 11:56Speaker 2: on your birthday? Your first day on your birthday.
- 12:00Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, what's the big deal?
- 12:02Speaker 2: Why don't know? What is the big deal?
- 12:04Speaker 1: Like?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Why are we here?
- 12:07Speaker 10: So kind of our backstory real quick. We've been working
- 12:11Speaker 10: together for like two years, and I've liked her for
- 12:14Speaker 10: a long time. Finally worked up the nerve to ask
- 12:17Speaker 10: her out, and you know, we went out, had dinner,
- 12:22Speaker 10: you know, shared a nice little ice cream dessert. They
- 12:25Speaker 10: brought a little candle and everything, and then I thought
- 12:28Speaker 10: that the day went perfect, and then all of a sudden,
- 12:30Speaker 10: she just kind of stopped responding.
- 12:34Speaker 2: And do you think it's because you took her out
- 12:35Speaker 2: on your birthday?
- 12:39Speaker 10: I don't know. I mean I walked her to her car.
- 12:42Speaker 10: I said I'd call her. She said okay, And that
- 12:44Speaker 10: was it.
- 12:45Speaker 2: That's how you left it with her. I'll just I'll
- 12:46Speaker 2: call you, I said, I'd call you.
- 12:49Speaker 10: We had a couple of texts back and forth, but
- 12:51Speaker 10: she didn't really seem excited to hear from me, And
- 12:54Speaker 10: since then, I've she has just stopped responding completely radio silence.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Fun intended here is if I am I mute. I
- 13:04Speaker 2: invited her out to celebrate on my birthday and she
- 13:07Speaker 2: didn't want to like talk to me sout, So I know.
- 13:12Speaker 10: I mean, it's awkward because I work with her, and
- 13:15Speaker 10: you know, I really like her you still, so I
- 13:17Speaker 10: don't know, and I don't know, but she.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Might not like you, or she might think it's complicated
- 13:22Speaker 2: with the whole work components.
- 13:24Speaker 5: So when did you tell her it was your birthday?
- 13:26Speaker 5: Was that revealed at dinner?
- 13:29Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 13:30Speaker 10: I mean I had a little lot. I told her,
- 13:32Speaker 10: you know, beforehand, if she wanted to come out to
- 13:35Speaker 10: dinner for you know, his birthday dinner. So she knew
- 13:40Speaker 10: it was my birthday from before before into you.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Possibly and maybe the work thing is complicating this, But
- 13:46Speaker 2: hold on one second. We're going to track her down
- 13:47Speaker 2: and find out why was it. I don't think it's
- 13:50Speaker 2: the birthday. I think that's cute.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I'm so weird.
- 13:52Speaker 4: I'd be so weird to die, right.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Maybe she thought it was like a birthday party.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Dodger tickets are Let's come back and find her. So
- 14:01Speaker 2: it's a second date update. He's getting ghosted. That's what
- 14:03Speaker 2: this is for. To find out why Andre works with Karen.
- 14:08Speaker 2: He invited Karen out on a first date on his
- 14:10Speaker 2: actual birthday. He thinks that's why she blow him off
- 14:14Speaker 2: and s and Tanya, You're like, oh, that's bad to
- 14:16Speaker 2: invite somebody. That's just not I don't know what it is.
- 14:20Speaker 2: It's not what tote somebody.
- 14:21Speaker 6: I'm just thinking that she didn't she maybe didn't think
- 14:24Speaker 6: it was a date, That's what I'm thinking.
- 14:26Speaker 2: What she think it was maybe a party, but it
- 14:29Speaker 2: was just the two of them.
- 14:30Speaker 5: But I don't know that she knew that.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Maybe you're saying that when he asked her out and
- 14:35Speaker 2: knew it was his birthday, she thought she was just
- 14:37Speaker 2: joining a bunch of friends for a birthday.
- 14:38Speaker 5: Maybe that, yes, that's what I'm thinking.
- 14:40Speaker 2: That means she's not into him.
- 14:42Speaker 7: Well, I just think going on to a first date
- 14:44Speaker 7: with somebody on their birthday is weird, Like why aren't
- 14:47Speaker 7: you spending your birthday with somebody that you know.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Because you're in a different phase and you want to
- 14:52Speaker 2: meet somebody new.
- 14:53Speaker 10: You know.
- 14:53Speaker 2: You guys are really harsh and I just I don't
- 14:56Speaker 2: know why.
- 14:57Speaker 3: I'm just trying to get to the bottom of it,
- 14:58Speaker 3: just like all of us.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Herston Tanya so andre.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Yay, so weird that if somebody asked me out on
- 15:05Speaker 4: their birthday.
- 15:06Speaker 2: See, I would say joining, my parents are coming right here.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Sorry, andre Andre.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I wouldn't just write on there. Let's let's find out
- 15:15Speaker 2: what's happening. I've got Karen on the phone. Just be
- 15:17Speaker 2: very quiet, let me see what we can find out. Okay, okay,
- 15:20Speaker 2: hey Karen, it's Ryan Seacrest. You're on the air here
- 15:22Speaker 2: on Kiss Family with Systney myself. Tanya. How are you?
- 15:27Speaker 9: I I'm good.
- 15:28Speaker 6: How are you?
- 15:29Speaker 2: I'm great? Thanks. So we are calling you about a
- 15:33Speaker 2: guy named Andre. I think you work with him.
- 15:36Speaker 9: Oh god, yeah, and you went out with him recently?
- 15:39Speaker 2: Did you want a date with him?
- 15:41Speaker 9: Yeah? Why are you calling about him?
- 15:44Speaker 2: Because I want to know if you like him or not.
- 15:48Speaker 9: Well, I didn't. I didn't think it was a date
- 15:51Speaker 9: that I went on with him. If I think he
- 15:54Speaker 9: asked me to like go out for his birthday, and
- 15:57Speaker 9: I thought I assumed it was like a birthday dinner
- 15:59Speaker 9: with like a whole group of people, and then when
- 16:01Speaker 9: I got there and there was just a table for two,
- 16:03Speaker 9: and it's just like, this is not what I thought
- 16:05Speaker 9: it was going to be, because I mean, he's a
- 16:06Speaker 9: nice guy and all, but like, no, honestly, if he
- 16:14Speaker 9: had just asked me out and was direct about it,
- 16:17Speaker 9: I might have been into it, But I don't know.
- 16:19Speaker 9: I just kind of felt ambushy and dishonest.
- 16:25Speaker 2: And you think that's the kind of guy he is, Andre, I.
- 16:29Speaker 9: Don't think he meant to be even I don't know.
- 16:31Speaker 9: I couldn't tell. It was just like, come to my
- 16:33Speaker 9: birthday dinner, and that to me implies that there's going
- 16:35Speaker 9: to be a lot of people. And I assumed it
- 16:37Speaker 9: would be a.
- 16:37Speaker 8: Bunch of people from work.
- 16:38Speaker 2: But if you were to Andre something about dating, what
- 16:41Speaker 2: would you teach him.
- 16:43Speaker 8: To be direct?
- 16:44Speaker 9: To be honest and don't ask a girl out on
- 16:48Speaker 9: your birthday for a first date?
- 16:50Speaker 2: Bingo, Andrea's on the phone with us, Andre.
- 16:54Speaker 10: Oh, no, I'm here.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Do you understand her position or view now?
- 17:01Speaker 10: I mean, I guess so. But I was direct. I
- 17:03Speaker 10: was clear. It was dinner and it was my birthday,
- 17:06Speaker 10: and she knew that up front. I never said there
- 17:09Speaker 10: was gonna be more people there, or there wasn't gonna
- 17:12Speaker 10: be more people there. I just invited her dinner. I understand.
- 17:15Speaker 10: I feel like dinner means dinner.
- 17:17Speaker 5: What do you say?
- 17:18Speaker 6: Did you say, do you want to come to my
- 17:19Speaker 6: birthday dinner? Or did you say do you want to
- 17:21Speaker 6: come out on a date with me on my birthday.
- 17:25Speaker 10: Oh man, I don't remember the exact wording, but I
- 17:28Speaker 10: told her it was dinner, and I told her it
- 17:31Speaker 10: was my birthday. I don't know if I said my
- 17:32Speaker 10: birthday dinner.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Okay, So look, we've learned a lot. This is not
- 17:36Speaker 2: gonna work. I can tell you that because in this
- 17:38Speaker 2: conversation right here, But we've learned a lot about clarity
- 17:40Speaker 2: when it comes to invitations. And I think that's our
- 17:42Speaker 2: takeaway and we appreciate you, Karen being honest with us.
- 17:44Speaker 2: And Andre onward, my brother onward.
- 17:50Speaker 10: Word.
- 17:51Speaker 2: There you go. That's ducism I life.
- 17:53Speaker 10: To hear.
- 17:56Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Good morning. Now let's get back to Chloe on the
- 18:02Speaker 2: line in Torrents. So, Chloe, good morning, good morning. You
- 18:07Speaker 2: are calling about a friend of yours who is a
- 18:09Speaker 2: type A kind of personality, right, oh.
- 18:13Speaker 8: Yeah, oh yeah.
- 18:14Speaker 2: And you want to know how to get a type
- 18:16Speaker 2: A human being to chill out? Yes, precisely, you cannot.
- 18:23Speaker 2: You don't, you don't.
- 18:24Speaker 1: No.
- 18:25Speaker 8: So basically, the situation is that I'm going to tankuon
- 18:29Speaker 8: for spring break with a bunch of my friends, and
- 18:31Speaker 8: this particular friend is very organized, like last night she
- 18:35Speaker 8: sent us a minute by minute itinerary for the entire trip,
- 18:39Speaker 8: and I'm not exaggerating. It's like breakfast at eight ten,
- 18:42Speaker 8: beach at nine, lunch at twelve o five, the whole thing.
- 18:45Speaker 8: And so I'm like, can we just chill? You know,
- 18:48Speaker 8: it's vacation, Like I appreciate the planning, but it just
- 18:51Speaker 8: feels like we're going on a field trip instead of
- 18:53Speaker 8: a getaway.
- 18:54Speaker 2: You feel me, Yeah, I do, And I think that
- 18:57Speaker 2: you're never going to get that person evolved. The only
- 18:59Speaker 2: thing you're going to do is decide not to travel
- 19:02Speaker 2: with that person after this trip, or.
- 19:04Speaker 6: Pick and choose the events you attend. You don't have
- 19:06Speaker 6: to do everything on the itinerary, but it's nice to happen.
- 19:09Speaker 2: You can't say I'm going to see at lunch right,
- 19:12Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 19:13Speaker 8: You guys, I'm too much, but people please it for
- 19:15Speaker 8: that well.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I just the overall thing here is that you can't
- 19:22Speaker 2: retrain that kind of person. It's impossible. They will not survive.
- 19:27Speaker 5: So you're born this way.
- 19:28Speaker 2: You just have to decide can you be compatible enough
- 19:32Speaker 2: with a type A and just enjoy them for who
- 19:35Speaker 2: they are and what they do and how they do
- 19:36Speaker 2: it or not. And that's the decision you got to make.
- 19:40Speaker 2: You want to Can'tkonkloye. It's okay, You're gonna be fine.
- 19:43Speaker 8: Good point.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Thank you so much for listening to us. Good luck.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I mean, I'm type A, but I would not print
- 19:50Speaker 2: out in itinerary of the trip. I'm not doing that.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Oh I love an itinerary. Oh my gosh, plan it
- 19:56Speaker 5: all out.
- 19:58Speaker 2: That's because you've got a lot of people to organize.
- 20:00Speaker 2: That's true, Kelly Clarkson. The winner is Kelly Clarkson.
- 20:05Speaker 5: That's right.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Every time I say it, I get excited. So a
- 20:08Speaker 2: question for you now, sisany I know you like your margarita, Sure, Tanya,
- 20:13Speaker 2: you've taken a break before from your drinking.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Yeah, like drinking adjacent.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Drink agent, which means technically I asked for a very
- 20:23Speaker 2: specific reason.
- 20:25Speaker 7: Adjacent means oh, adjacent means like I'm not drinking drinking,
- 20:30Speaker 7: but like I'll have a drink every once in a while.
- 20:33Speaker 2: So have you seen the new trend which I quite
- 20:35Speaker 2: advocate that is drinking earlier if you do less often
- 20:41Speaker 2: and earlier, like happy hour has shifted from five to
- 20:45Speaker 2: three pm. I love that. Yeah, me too. I always
- 20:48Speaker 2: want to have dinner at four twenty nine.
- 20:51Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly, I can.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I can finally have people with me to do that.
- 20:56Speaker 2: So the five pm dinner reservation is now the most popular,
- 21:01Speaker 2: and the happy hour has become three pm.
- 21:03Speaker 5: That's great, you're home and in bed by eight.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the new generation, I guess of cocktailing. It's
- 21:13Speaker 2: being tied to clubs and everything. It's all earlier, which
- 21:17Speaker 2: is exactly.
- 21:18Speaker 4: Day drinking is the way day.
- 21:20Speaker 6: Drinking day, drinking day really because it is kind of
- 21:25Speaker 6: during the day.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Yeah, well yeah, I think on a Friday though, it's fine, okay,
- 21:30Speaker 2: but Tuesday not so much.
- 21:31Speaker 6: And this is different from brunch because the brunch culture
- 21:33Speaker 6: has been around forever.
- 21:35Speaker 5: That's more, but it's more popular now than ever.
- 21:38Speaker 2: The brunch culture. The early drinking, and the whole thing
- 21:41Speaker 2: is to do it less and then also be done right,
- 21:45Speaker 2: be done by nine. It's it's so good when you're
- 21:48Speaker 2: home by seven thirty on a Friday.
- 21:50Speaker 5: Yeah, but that's or miss. If I start that early,
- 21:53Speaker 5: I don't think it would really be done.
- 21:54Speaker 2: You might extend, for sure. I always say I'm out
- 21:58Speaker 2: by seven thirty.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Yeah, you do, and then you get the hangover that night.
- 22:02Speaker 4: You don't get it the next day.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Why do you have to have a hangover?
- 22:05Speaker 5: Why are you drinking that much?
- 22:06Speaker 2: Why having that much that you have a hangover?
- 22:08Speaker 5: Always are you drinking?
- 22:10Speaker 2: People are having?
- 22:12Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 22:12Speaker 2: What what is your What is your drink that gives
- 22:14Speaker 2: you a hangover?
- 22:15Speaker 4: Leachi Martini?
- 22:15Speaker 2: Well, very good sugar?
- 22:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, there's so good.
- 22:19Speaker 5: You know you do multiples of those?
- 22:24Speaker 4: Starter, let's have one and then Amartini. I could get
- 22:28Speaker 4: four of those.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:30Speaker 2: I think espresso martini is one with exactly sugar. They're
- 22:34Speaker 2: They're like a milkshake. By the way, have you ever
- 22:37Speaker 2: had a leachy martini system, I've ever had that.
- 22:40Speaker 6: I had one, and I didn't like it because of
- 22:42Speaker 6: that reason. It was like too sweet, too sugary. I
- 22:44Speaker 6: was like, whoa, I didn't like the leech blobbing around
- 22:47Speaker 6: in there.
- 22:50Speaker 2: That thing floating around.
- 22:52Speaker 5: You didn't like it?
- 22:52Speaker 2: Yeah, Tanya, not to you know, be yeah exactly or
- 23:00Speaker 2: or you know, judge, But I think sugary drinks for
- 23:05Speaker 2: you at this stage in life. No cut goes out.
- 23:09Speaker 2: The floating fruit in your drink is a bad move.
- 23:11Speaker 2: So five pm is the new midnight. I'm so excited.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Yes, I'm on board.
- 23:16Speaker 2: The well, all the buzz is about the Bachelorette, I
- 23:21Speaker 2: mean horrible news, Tony Actually phillis in case we missed it.
- 23:25Speaker 7: So basically the newest season of the Bachelorette with Taylor
- 23:28Speaker 7: Frankie Paul. It was supposed to air this past weekend
- 23:32Speaker 7: when ABC pulled the plug.
- 23:33Speaker 2: So it didn't even start, right, it didn't even start.
- 23:36Speaker 7: They shot the entire season. It was in the can.
- 23:39Speaker 7: It was premiering in three days and they pulled it.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Yeah, they have all the trailers, they had all the promotion.
- 23:45Speaker 4: And the oscars everything.
- 23:47Speaker 2: But she was on the Mormon before.
- 23:49Speaker 7: Yeah, she was on the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
- 23:51Speaker 7: and she was involved in a domestic violence case back
- 23:54Speaker 7: in twenty twenty three. So now all that kind of
- 23:58Speaker 7: came to a head. That's when the ABC pulled the plug.
- 24:01Speaker 7: But now the biggest conversation that I'm seeing online and
- 24:04Speaker 7: with my friends is is it time for the Bachelor
- 24:06Speaker 7: franchise to end?
- 24:08Speaker 4: Or can they.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Recover from everybody's talking about.
- 24:11Speaker 7: Yes, and so some people were saying maybe they'd pivot
- 24:13Speaker 7: and they lean into like the Bachelor and paradise of it.
- 24:15Speaker 7: All because you know, Love Island and these kind of
- 24:17Speaker 7: shows are doing really well, so people just like maybe
- 24:19Speaker 7: not one lead with like twenty five suitors where it's
- 24:22Speaker 7: just kind of like everybody finding love. But I genuinely
- 24:25Speaker 7: think I think Bachelor Nation is so strong and they
- 24:28Speaker 7: are like they're so ingrained. I feel like if they
- 24:32Speaker 7: took away the drama and they went back to their
- 24:34Speaker 7: grassroots of like really finding somebody that wants a genuine
- 24:37Speaker 7: connection instead of focusing on the drama, I do think
- 24:40Speaker 7: they could recover from this.
- 24:41Speaker 2: It's become more like Real Housewives, right.
- 24:44Speaker 7: Yes, And I don't think that's what Bachelor Nation wants truly.
- 24:48Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, do you watch The Bachelor or bachter Aonne?
- 24:52Speaker 1: No?
- 24:52Speaker 5: And here's the thing I have.
- 24:53Speaker 6: I used to do in the past a lot, but
- 24:55Speaker 6: I stopped for whatever reason, and I was very excited
- 24:59Speaker 6: for this season.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Wanted to watch her season.
- 25:01Speaker 7: I was so upset when they cast her in the
- 25:03Speaker 7: first place.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I was, so, are you upset about it?
- 25:06Speaker 7: Because she has this this, this.
- 25:09Speaker 2: She's that was already out the twenty three, So I
- 25:14Speaker 2: don't follow it, so I don't.
- 25:15Speaker 6: Know you That's why I'm surprised they canceled it if
- 25:17Speaker 6: they already knew this.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Well, because but I'm surprised they cast her things, Yes, exactly.
- 25:22Speaker 2: And also I do, honestly, I do think there's new
- 25:24Speaker 2: leadership at ABC slash Disney. I do think it may
- 25:29Speaker 2: come to an end, I really do it, or or
- 25:32Speaker 2: pivot to more like Love Island or whatever those shows
- 25:35Speaker 2: you watch on Yeah, well.
- 25:36Speaker 7: They actually just started. Uh there's a show called Bacheler
- 25:40Speaker 7: Mansion Renovation or whatever.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Renovation renovation. Idol will be throwing Survivor in there. But
- 25:52Speaker 2: I will say I'm I'm thinking it may this may
- 25:56Speaker 2: be the end of it because of this, and also
- 25:59Speaker 2: it's been a long time, and I feel like, you know,
- 26:02Speaker 2: our taste has evolved. You don't want all you don't
- 26:04Speaker 2: want all the drama. You really don't right every.
- 26:08Speaker 6: Well, remember how every season it would always be like
- 26:11Speaker 6: this is the craziest season yet you've never seen it
- 26:14Speaker 6: on Bachelor, Na.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Yes, I think at.
- 26:17Speaker 7: The end of the day those seasons, at the root
- 26:20Speaker 7: was love and they picked someone, Like there's so many
- 26:22Speaker 7: couples that did get engaged and have babies, and there
- 26:24Speaker 7: was like this this this genuine love in there, and
- 26:27Speaker 7: I feel like they've lost the plot a little bit.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Not since Ryan, And what's Tristan? Have I actually thought.
- 26:33Speaker 5: The first season?
- 26:35Speaker 2: Yes, she was the first ever ever. That's Kelly Clarkson
- 26:39Speaker 2: of The Bachelor, all right, coming up next to Systney,
- 26:42Speaker 2: He's got what's new this morning on Kiss, including why
- 26:45Speaker 2: the Santa Monica Ferris Wheel is going dark? Why this weekend.
- 26:50Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest, Kiss that Seacrest.
- 26:58Speaker 2: With you Dodger tickets opening week. We've got your tickets
- 27:02Speaker 2: coming up in a few minutes on Kiss. So I guess,
- 27:05Speaker 2: like most people, I just read headlines. I leave it
- 27:08Speaker 2: to you to click in. So Sysney, Sysney clicked into it.
- 27:11Speaker 2: But I saw Hannah Montana and Starbucks, like a is
- 27:14Speaker 2: there a thing going on? What's going on?
- 27:16Speaker 5: Yes, there's a thing.
- 27:16Speaker 6: And first of all, last night, Miley Cyrus had this
- 27:18Speaker 6: big premiere celebration here in Hollywood for her Hannah Montana
- 27:22Speaker 6: twentieth anniversary special, which has officially dropped on Disney Plus.
- 27:25Speaker 6: By the way, a lot of people excited about that.
- 27:28Speaker 6: Everyone's busy reminiscing and the Internet got completely distracted though
- 27:31Speaker 6: by this Starbucks string. It's this bright pink beverage called
- 27:35Speaker 6: the Secret Pop Star Refresher. And so while it's exciting
- 27:38Speaker 6: and they're trying to do this and like with all
- 27:40Speaker 6: the buzz around Hannah Montana and this anniversary special and whatnot,
- 27:44Speaker 6: they got it wrong. They got the flavor wrong, and
- 27:46Speaker 6: the fans, the smilers, they came out and they were
- 27:51Speaker 6: not having it.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Was it an official promotion?
- 27:54Speaker 6: Yeah, well it was like it was like on their
- 27:57Speaker 6: secret menu and it still is. I think it's It
- 28:00Speaker 6: was a Grande STRAWBERRYII Refresher with raspberry cold foam, two
- 28:03Speaker 6: pumps of raspberry syrup and no strawberry inclusions.
- 28:07Speaker 2: So a lot that's a hangover without alcohol exactly, Like
- 28:11Speaker 2: literally I would be hurting the next day. Well pump.
- 28:14Speaker 6: Longtime viewers immediately pointed out that Hannah Montana famously hated raspberries,
- 28:19Speaker 6: a plot point from season one, even when somebody posted
- 28:23Speaker 6: on x saying whoever came up with this needs their
- 28:25Speaker 6: Hannah Montana fan card revoked.
- 28:28Speaker 5: It's just, you know, kind of funny.
- 28:29Speaker 2: In the end, this is the stuff that I see
- 28:32Speaker 2: in the news, Like this is what comes in my algorithm,
- 28:35Speaker 2: right exactly, I don't click, but I see the headline
- 28:38Speaker 2: wouldn't you think though, Sorry, but when you think that
- 28:40Speaker 2: whoever Starbucks would run this by, I have to approve
- 28:44Speaker 2: it with Miley, right Teash Hannah who would say, or
- 28:47Speaker 2: Team Yeah, who would say obviously this.
- 28:49Speaker 6: Is That's why I think this wasn't officially all tied
- 28:52Speaker 6: to maybe Miley Hannah, et cetera.
- 28:54Speaker 4: We're just trying to capitalize.
- 28:55Speaker 6: It's called the Secret pop Star Refresher, and so they
- 28:58Speaker 6: were just kind of trying to go with the.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Bus an official thing, right it was not God Yeah,
- 29:02Speaker 2: but FYI just notes yourself two pumps of anything from
- 29:06Speaker 2: that that is worse than the leechy martini. There we have.
- 29:14Speaker 2: We don't. I'm telling you right now, it's a problem.
- 29:17Speaker 2: It's good for us here on Kiss FM. Thanks for
