Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jaguar's fans, welcome into Duval, daily presented by Genjag.com and fuel by Brass Tax Coffee.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, we are talking at Jaguar's schedule and official record prediction now that we are in game week.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: We have NFL football tomorrow night, pretty incredible.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, I also had a, you know, FSU debacle last night with the power surge in the stadium, waiting forever for that football game.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: FSU almost got it done.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: Couldn't do it though, sorry to all the FSU viewers out there.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: But right now we are talking again, jag wars record prediction.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to go through the entire schedule here.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguar is 2026 schedule.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to lay it out.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to kind of get a little bit deeper.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: We've done a couple of schedule predictions already.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: This will be the official final schedule prediction and record prediction, I should say, for the Jaguar is for the 2026 season over here at Jinjak.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: Do really appreciate all y'all tuning in, supporting the channel.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's all jacks all the time, obviously.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: Please like and subscribe, you can also hit that high button and drop your record prediction in the comment section below.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: So without further ado, the Jaguars, they face the Cleveland Browns this week.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: And we do a prediction for every game every week.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: So this is going to kind of bear the lead on that one coming up later in the weekend.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: And
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: I will, like, I'm not going to stick to these game picks every single week in all likelihood throughout the season.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like, my opinions will change based on what we see throughout the season, but this is what I've got at the beginning of the season.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: We do have Brown's at-jack wars to open the season.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_00]: Look, a lot of these picks are going to be made on the premise that I do think the
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the Jaguars have a great passing game that will offensively you'll have an improved running game.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they're going to be like an elite rushing team, but I think that they're going to be better than they were last year in terms of success rate, keeping the change moving all that sort of stuff.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: We also have the premise that I think the Jaguars defense is going to be really, really good in most games, but I still have not felt like they answered the question,
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: can they stop consistently, offenses that have true number one quarterbacks?
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: and just really good pieces around them.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: Can they beat teams that are fairly complete that also have the elite quarterback and the elite wide receiver?
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: That is my question.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: So, browns do not have either of those things.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: The browns have the opposite of that.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: They have, you know, also like a coaching staff that is fairly unproven.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: I know Todd Mokin is a good play caller offensively, but we have not seen Mike Routenberg call a defensive snap in his NFL career yet.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: as a coach, was in Jacksonville for a little while kind of from the solid tree so it shouldn't be an overly complex defense to deal with.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: It is a talented defense, right?
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: But I just think you look at the jag wars in the Browns.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: There's a reason the jag wars are big favorites in this one.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: For me, it's the jacks, right?
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: It was always the jacks.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: How do we wing it out there in Arizona, right?
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: the Jagsverse, the Browns, I've got the Jags start in 1-0.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: They then travel to Denver, where they beat the Broncos pretty handily last year.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: Quite honestly, they had themselves a coming out party, where a lot of people were waiting for the Jagsverse to play a team like that on the road.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: and see what happened, and we all saw what happened.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars got the job done in convincing fashion.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: Now the Broncos, they have added to the offense.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen Waddle, I think, is a huge, huge addition for a team that already did have some talent, like Portland Sutton is a good receiver, right?
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: So now, everybody gets knocked down a peg.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, you have Patrick Bryant, too.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville native, but I've received her.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: I just still, you know, bone nicks coming off the ankle injury.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: He is not to me in that tier of like truly, really, really good QB1s.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think that this offense helps him out a ton, Sean Peyton helps him out a ton.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: You also have the fact that Sean Peyton is not calling plays there, at least for now, Davis Webb taking the mantle there.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: I've got the Jaguar as beating the Broncos.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: Again, I just
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Broncos have one of the more complete rosters in all of football, but they do not have, in my opinion, a true, true blue quarterback one.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like I do think that obviously Botanix is a quality starting quarterback.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think it is possible that he does ascend and get better, but to this point and again coming off the ankle injury, I don't think that I don't think that
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars are facing that truly elite offense against the Broncos.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: And so I have the Jaguars winning that one, even though the Broncos are going to be out for revenge in that one.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: You know Sean Peyton is as petty as they come.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to want to win that football game, but I've got the Jaguars handling their business in Denver.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: Then you get to New England.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: In Jacksonville, end of September, this is a tough one to call.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Patriots are an improved team from last year, and they went to the Super Bowl last year.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, it was weird circumstances in the playoffs, with some of those games.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: You have a snow game, and then you have a game against a backup quarterback, and you make it to the playoffs, and you make it to the Super Bowl, and the C-Ox kind of have their way.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: but and you also had injuries on the offensive line down the stretch.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: I do think like Will Campbell is better than a lot of people think he is they made some improvements across the board on the offensive line and I think they're just a pretty well-rounded team.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that they're like as complete as the Broncos but if you watch my FC power rankings video, I have them in the same tier as the Broncos and
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: They do have the legitimate QB1, and they do have the legitimate wide receiver one in AJ Brown, and they have, I think, a defense that is extremely well-coached, an offense that is fairly well-coached as well.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: This one is tough call for me.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going with the Patriots to actually win this game.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: And hopefully I'm wrong.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully like the heat and Jacksonville in September will play an impact in this game and help the Jack Wars win the game.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I could very easily see them winning this one.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: But I've got them falling to the Patriots again.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: Drake, May, AJ Brown,
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: that feels like the type of combination that beat the Jaguar's last year and is it a guarantee that that will plague the Jaguars again this year or maybe something else will pop up that's more of an issue this year than it was last year but as of right now I'm still waiting for the Jaguars to prove they can handle those complete teams and then I do think the Patriots are fairly complete and you know Christian Gonzalez just got his deal so obviously I think he'll be fired up
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm going with the Patriots in that one.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: At Cincinnati, Jags are two and one, going up to Cincinnati, they lost last year, two-sensee, Jake Browning played most of the game, they could not stop Jamar Chase, Travis Hunter, I think, you know, he got called for what should not have been a passenger clearance towards the end of the game.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: You also had the absolute debacle of a game by Brian Thomas Jr. in this one.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that either of those things are going to be, you know, playing in the Bengals favor this year, but they do have still Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase, T-Higgins, a, I think, offensive line that looks at least like solid and competent.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: I, you know, Dexter Lawrence in the middle of that defense, some upgrades, boy, Muffet, different things like that, but I'm going to take the jacks to beat the Bengals and
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to really want that one.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: Liam Cohen, he's a little petty too.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's going to want to go up and handle business there.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I just think the Jaguars are the better team right now.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: Then the Bengals.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: October 11th, trip over the pond to face the Philadelphia Eagles and then the next week, the Houston Texans.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: I've got the Jags losing to Philly.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I think that, you know, I don't really view Jalen hurts in that tier that we talked about of quarterbacks that are just like absolutely, um, locked in, QB ones that are like elevating their team, but that is truly like maybe the most complete team in football.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm top to bottom.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: They're offensive line is still excellent, um, they have good receivers, they haven't
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: defense across the board with really good coaching on the defensive side of the ball.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: Sean Manion is the new offensive coordinator, obviously.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to be interesting to see how kind of all that works.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I'm taking the Eagles in that one.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: So that drops the Jaguar's record to three and two after five weeks.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then they host host air quotes, the Texans in London.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: This is one where, obviously, the Jaguars will have in their mind what happened last time these two teams played.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: You're hoping that Walker Little is not out there at Tackle for you and this came.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_00]: As he was, when Daniel Hunter terrorized the backfield throughout the second half of the Jaguars catastrophic, just collapse against the Texans last year.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: I've read the Jaguars winning this one.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: I still think I need the Texans to prove that their offensive line is that much better.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: And just that their offense is in more and more in sync, in general.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: I do think they have a great defense.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: I've got the Jaguars winning this one, hopefully being over in London for an extra week.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I actually give the Jaguars a little bit of an advantage there.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I've got the Jaguars for in two through six weeks, and that would be, I think,
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: Unmitigate like great great start for the Jaguar is considering their schedule again features Denver, New England Cincinnati Philadelphia and Houston.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think starting for in two would be huge and obviously a big piece to that is having Cleveland week one and taking care of business and not falling into the trap of
- 10:25[SPEAKER_00]: You're playing an inferior opponent type deal.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that Liam Cohen's going to let them fall into that trap I think they're excited to play football.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: They got to take care of business there, but um, yeah For and two start for the Jaguars and you have a by week after you're two two two games in London, and you know Colts at Jaguars Following that
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: That feels like a bit of a lock.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: The cults have not won in Jacksonville in over a decade, despite trying every single year.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: And another lock is the my bookie lock of the season.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: It is back.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: And the first one is an absolute no-brainer.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: With the Patriots in Seattle for NFL kickoff, my bookie is asking one simple question.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: Will the C-Ox raise their championship banner that night?
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: And the answer is, of course, they will.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: They're the defending champs home opener.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: Raising the banner before kickoff is part of the celebration.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: You're getting that bet at plus money odds.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: You're getting paid to say yes.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: The CX will do the thing.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: The entire night is built around.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: That is the first my bookie lock of the season.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: There will be more coming all season long.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: Get in before kickoff, sign up at my bookie with my promo code Duval.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: Do you VAL all caps, start your season off with a win?
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: Anytime, anywhere that's my bookie code, Duval must be 21 plus 18 plus and select jurisdictions.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: Terms and conditions apply gambling.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: or visit 1-800-Gamela.net for free confidential support, available 24-7.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: So, yes, I am calling it, the Jaguar is will beat the cults in Jacksonville once again.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to handle their business.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: So, they get to 5-2.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: Damn good record, just start the season, then they have Thursday night football just like four days later, in Baltimore.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: And I think Baltimore is going to be a much, much better team this year.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's a coin flip type of game for me in a neutral setting between the Jaguars and the Ravens, but given the fact that it's in Baltimore, the Jaguars are coming off a short week, having to travel, I'll just take the Ravens in that one.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_00]: And the Jaguars, five and three at that point.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: You then have at Tennessee at the New York Giants and versus the Tennessee Titans.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: I just feel strongly that that is a three week win streak.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: I don't believe in the giants right now.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_00]: I know that they have some elements to their team that could certainly pose problems, but I'm just not a big believer in what they have going on overall, specifically at quarterback and running back.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: And so for me, I think the Jaguars will sweep that three game part of their schedule.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: And so they were five and three through eight games,
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: following that, following that little run there.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: And so then you have a little bit of a gauntlet for the next four weeks.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: I would say that's fair to say.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_00]: You go to Chicago, December 6th.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: It could be a weather-impacted game.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: You never know when it gets into December and these Northeastern cities, right?
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: I should say Midwest for Chicago.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: Excuse me.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: Midwest, Northeast.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: They all get dang cold.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: They all get snow, right?
- 13:41[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to take the bears in that game.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguar has followed eight and four at that point.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: Again, coin flip, but being in Chicago, being coming off of three game win streak in Chicago, I think the bears are
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: really good.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think that they're still being slightly underrated by some.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to be excellent this year.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think the jacks are going to be excellent too, but it being in Chicago, I'll take the bears with that one.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguar is fall to eight and four.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: Then you have Monday night football, so you have a little bit of an extra
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: Um, extra day to get ready for the Steelers in Jacksonville, Monday night football.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I'll take the Jaguars over the Steelers in that when I do feel like the Jaguars are the better football team.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: They're at home.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's Monday night football.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_00]: Going to be a rocket's environment.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: Going to be a lot of fun.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll take the Jaguars to get to nine and four.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_00]: And then we have, uh, at Houston, the following week, two straight weeks in Texas.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: Houston and then Dallas.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: Jagger at nine and four, taking on the Texans, who I think, as much as I am picking the Jaggers to win the division, I think the Texans are right there with them.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think that is a very good top two teams in a division, very, very close, closely matched.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take the Texans in Houston to win that football game.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: So the Jaguars at nine and five are preparing to go take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night football.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think both teams will be good.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that you're going to have a situation where they get flexed out of that.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: If that's a possibility, late in the season, at Dallas tough game.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't think the Jaguar is gonna lose two in a row in Texas.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: So I've got the Jaguar is winning that football game to get to 10 and 5.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: And then they finish versus the commanders in Jacksonville.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_00]: The commanders are a bounce back candidate, but I still feel like there are more questions and answers with that football team overall.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of injury situations that don't look great.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I'll take the Jaguar as to win that one to get to what is that?
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: 11 and 5.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: How do I, 10 and 5 after Dallas?
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: 11 and 5 against Washington.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then you take on the cults in Indy.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: I just think the Jaguars are the better franchise right now.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're better coached across the board even though I do respect Shane Steiken and Lou and Arumo greatly.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take the Jaguars against Indy.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't believe in the
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: pretty good roster overall, but what they are hinging it on at quarterback just scares me.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm taking the Jack Worst to go 12 and 5 and to win the AFC South.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to get it done.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: And after that, you know, it's hard to predict what will happen in the playoffs.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know who you're playing, et cetera.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: But a wild card weekend home game, right?
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: If you win the AFC South, I would imagine them taking care of business in that regard after not doing it last year against the bills.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: And then I think I'm going to have the Jaguars make into the AFC Championship game and falling in the AFC title game again.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's like impossible to predict what's going to be happening in January right now, but that's where I'm at right now.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like there are one of the top two teams in the AFC.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think being in year two of this system on both sides of the ball of this regime of this culture, all that stuff, is beneficial for the jacks.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think the addition of Travis Hunter is going to pay dividends.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: My biggest question is, again, when you have to have it against really good teams, can you get it done?
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: When it's late fourth quarter against really good teams, can you get it done?
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I want to see.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_00]: Because last year, against really good teams, the Jaguards had some tight wins.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: They had some tight losses.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: But most of the teams that were very, very good that they beat, especially second half of the season, when they were playing more how I expect them to play this year, they're kind of beating the brakes off of them.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't a blow out against the Broncos, but it was a handle like, it was a win that did not feel like it was in much jeopardy for a lot of the second half.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they beat the brakes off the chargers, the rest of the teams, they beat down the stretch, weren't very good teams.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, that's kind of my question there.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: But that'll do it for this one.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all tuning in, football tomorrow, night, Jaguar's football this Sunday, one PM at the bank against the Browns, cannot wait for it.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: We will get into previewing that game, diving deep into all the matchups and everything like that throughout the rest of the week, but really appreciate y'all tuning in.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe,
