- 0:26Speaker 2: has is written which has crossed out, and then it
- 0:28Speaker 2: says Joel, Yes, thank you, thank you card first?
- 0:32Speaker 1: Sure, oh thanks. I don't want to know how much
- 0:34Speaker 1: of this you've been recording.

- 0:39Speaker 4: By the way, just random Oh DoorDash gift card. That's
- 0:41Speaker 4: always good, thank you DoorDash. What one hundred dollars a

- 0:45Speaker 1: I mean that might be.
- 0:46Speaker 5: There's people in my work at DoorDash every day and
- 0:48Speaker 5: I just don't understand it. Drive by the places that
- 0:52Speaker 5: you DoorDash once you get here to work.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Times a week. I DoorDash, not every day. I mean,
- 0:56Speaker 1: it's not wrong with it. I just bust their chocks.

- 1:01Speaker 4: That's what he does anyway. All Right, So this I
- 1:05Speaker 4: found online.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I like that. The wrapping paper is Charlie Brown Christmas.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Anytime somebody gets a gift for me during the year,
- 1:13Speaker 4: it's always a some kind of Christmas themed wrapping paper.
- 1:16Speaker 4: It's the only reason I have wrapping paper in my asse. Okay,
- 1:18Speaker 4: but anyway, I found this online. You've seen this before
- 1:22Speaker 4: and there's a funny story behind it, so please open it.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I feel bad now because I didn't get you a
- 1:28Speaker 2: gift for your birthday.
- 1:29Speaker 1: It's okay. You probably took me to dinner or something.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I don't know you dohed it? Yeah? Probably? Oh cool?
- 1:35Speaker 1: Oh did you get this on you bought it? Oh?
- 1:41Speaker 1: Facebook marketplace?
- 1:42Speaker 4: It was on Facebook marketplace and somebody put it in
- 1:44Speaker 4: the radio group saying what a steal or something like that.
- 1:46Speaker 4: It was like fifteen bucks and uh yeah, I drove
- 1:50Speaker 4: to like Hereford, Pennsylvania for that.
- 1:52Speaker 1: It sounds like it's far away, but it's like a
- 1:56Speaker 1: license back.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Yeah, that thing is older than you are, do babilia.
- 2:00Speaker 4: I think it's thirty one years older. Stepthing guy says
- 2:02Speaker 4: that right, yeah.
- 2:04Speaker 1: And Blake was in his forties when that came out. Wow,
- 2:08Speaker 1: how cool is that?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yes, I actually so so for our listening audience. It
- 2:12Speaker 2: is indeed a ninety five to one w ZZO license
- 2:15Speaker 2: plate from probably what the mid nineties. Yeah, and somebody
- 2:18Speaker 2: had posted this on Facebook. It was in a it
- 2:20Speaker 2: was on but fifteen dollars in Facebook. So I took
- 2:23Speaker 2: a screenshot of this and I posted it on the
- 2:25Speaker 2: Zezeo Facebook sage and I said.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Fifteen dollars.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Man, that's a steal' there's a piece of history. Yeah,
- 2:30Speaker 4: you know, we're offended by that fifteen dollars. And you
- 2:34Speaker 4: were the one that bought it. Yeah, I thought you
- 2:36Speaker 4: very much. You're Wow, you're very well appreciated.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Nice stosh.
- 2:40Speaker 4: You know, he screenshot it and he posted it, and
- 2:43Speaker 4: I was like, I'm gonna go buy that right now.
- 2:45Speaker 4: But I saw you commented on it and you were like,
- 2:47Speaker 4: I'm going to steal this now. I thought you were
- 2:49Speaker 4: going to get it for yourself, right And then I
- 2:52Speaker 4: realized later you were just going to steal the post.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Steal the post. So I went fucking bought it. Won
- 3:00Speaker 1: at Z ninety five. I remember that one.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a couple I have a bunch of vintage
- 3:04Speaker 4: stasht that maybe Rick Hwitt had one of those blue ones,
- 3:06Speaker 4: and he actually messaged him for me because I was
- 3:08Speaker 4: going to get that one instead.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, I.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Love vintage anything, but especially vintage radio station anything.
- 3:16Speaker 1: That's pretty cool. I appreciate that man.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Thank you, very happy birthday, Thank you, thank you. Oh
- 3:20Speaker 4: speaking of radio nerds, here we go.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Chris Line is here, legendary Chris Line, and we also
- 3:27Speaker 2: have and we also have Blake Dannon.
- 3:28Speaker 1: In our studio audience too. But he's a he's just
- 3:31Speaker 1: he's just chilling drinking over here. You won't hear him.
- 3:34Speaker 1: He'll be back here. But how cool you want to
- 3:36Speaker 1: stay hi from the background. And he was a guest
- 3:40Speaker 1: on a prior episode as well.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Yeah, so this is episode seventeen and Blake was on
- 3:43Speaker 2: episode what like four or five six early on.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Yeah, those like that.
- 3:47Speaker 5: You guys are supposed to go forward with your guests,
- 3:49Speaker 5: not backwards by having.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Oh no, I will say though, it is funny to
- 3:52Speaker 2: have Chris Line on the podcast because every time I
- 3:55Speaker 2: see Chris, I remind have been I don't know. Two
- 3:57Speaker 2: thousand and seven, I emailed Chris Line and I I
- 4:00Speaker 2: want to be in radio.
- 4:01Speaker 1: What should I do? I want to work in radio?
- 4:03Speaker 1: Did I break you back?
- 4:03Speaker 4: And they never responded to me? Can I tell you
- 4:08Speaker 4: I've told you this story. Ever reminded you about it?
- 4:10Speaker 4: At least didn't you come in? You didn't spend a
- 4:12Speaker 4: day with the DJ thing. I think I won a
- 4:14Speaker 4: prize from you, and when I was going to pick
- 4:17Speaker 4: it up, I had asked you, Hey, can I get
- 4:19Speaker 4: a tour of the radio station?
- 4:20Speaker 1: And you were like yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 4:22Speaker 4: And I got in the lobby of the place and
- 4:24Speaker 4: then I was like waiting anticipation.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I was so stoked. You know, I was young, and
- 4:28Speaker 1: you walked out.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I was like, oh shit, christ and you were much
- 4:33Speaker 4: smaller of them, man. But no, he took me around
- 4:35Speaker 4: the radio station. I remember that night. I was like,
- 4:37Speaker 4: holy shit, that's awesome. This is what I want to do.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I was going to go to school for fucking culinary
- 4:42Speaker 1: and what really? Yeah, I can't cook for ship now
- 4:45Speaker 1: he but dor dash Yeah, yeah, it's like cooking, but
- 4:49Speaker 1: it's already done for you. That's cool. I like hearing
- 4:51Speaker 1: that stuff. You don't hear that stuff too often. I notes, yeah, yeah, exactly, Yeah, misery.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Now, no, not at all, but no, thank you. I
- 5:03Speaker 4: mean that's cool, genuinely thank you. I redirected everything because
- 5:07Speaker 4: of that one experience with somebody, you know what I mean.
- 5:10Speaker 1: You were kind enough to reply to my email. Apparently not.
- 5:14Speaker 2: So Chris the price Freak. Do you know how the
- 5:16Speaker 2: podcast works here? Have you ever listened?
- 5:18Speaker 1: You can tell us not, honestly, I have not. You
- 5:20Speaker 1: can tell us.
- 5:20Speaker 5: And I was going to over the weekend and I
- 5:23Speaker 5: decided I did not want to do it. I wanted
- 5:25Speaker 5: to come in and completely blind and have no idea
- 5:26Speaker 5: what was going on. I just thought it would be
- 5:28Speaker 5: more raw.
- 5:28Speaker 2: And so it is technically a stone or trivia podcast. Yeah,
- 5:32Speaker 2: the verbiage that we used officially yep. So we start
- 5:35Speaker 2: with the wrap it Round. You're going to answer the
- 5:37Speaker 2: wrap it Round?
- 5:37Speaker 1: Oho. We put sixty seconds on the clock.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Okay, test questions and we'll see if you can cruise
- 5:42Speaker 2: through ten questions and sixty seconds you can skip them
- 5:44Speaker 2: if you don't know them.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Okay.
- 5:46Speaker 2: After we do the wrap it Round, we go into
- 5:48Speaker 2: questions Becker's questions for me, I have questions for him,
- 5:50Speaker 2: and then you are our lifeline. And with each round
- 5:53Speaker 2: we can go to you one time for our lifeline. Okay, yeah,
- 5:55Speaker 2: but you know the whole idea of the questions is
- 5:57Speaker 2: to get derailed on purpose.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm in you might find them easy to get derailed.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Oh we like getting derailed. I knew a girl in
- 6:04Speaker 1: high school that got the derailed quite a bit. Yeah,
- 6:09Speaker 1: tell her I'm single. All right, Right for the wrap around?
- 6:12Speaker 1: Go ahead? Oh wait, did we do the open? No,
- 6:17Speaker 1: let's do that. Man, did your birthday party? Okay? Yes,
- 6:21Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you for the birthday party.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Thank you. Let's do the open first.
- 6:25Speaker 6: Welcome to the Blazed and Confused Podcast with Becker and Joel,
- 6:30Speaker 6: the trivia podcast where the questions are.
- 6:33Speaker 1: High, and so are they.
- 6:35Speaker 6: He's time to spark your curiosity and line up some knowledge.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Though.
- 6:39Speaker 6: Blazed and Confused podcast starts now.
- 6:45Speaker 4: All right, you already heard the intro, so just pretend
- 6:47Speaker 4: that the intro was after this episode seventeen. I'm Becker.
- 6:50Speaker 4: That's my friend Joel.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Oh you think we've been you know, we get better
- 6:54Speaker 1: at doing this, but we're not. That's all right.
- 6:57Speaker 4: That's what they're tuning in for. I think they're tuning
- 6:58Speaker 4: in for the what the stakes mistake. Yeah at this point.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Well, your first one today was having me on the show.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Chris Line.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Everybody, Yes, Hello, Chris, Hello, thanks for coming, Thanks for coming,
- 7:09Speaker 2: Thanks for walking up all four flights of stairs with
- 7:11Speaker 2: a limp.
- 7:12Speaker 5: I felt on my attic stairs last night. Of course,
- 7:14Speaker 5: you live on the fourth floor with no elevator.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You're too young of limp it. I know, I know.
- 7:19Speaker 1: What do you want me to do? Carry you? Yes?
- 7:21Speaker 1: All right? Anyway, let's get to the rapid round? Shall Yeah?
- 7:23Speaker 1: Intro is done, Let's do it? Okay, the game begins
- 7:27Speaker 1: in three? How many bases are there on a baseball field? Three? No?
- 7:35Speaker 1: I disagree with that one. Go okay? Question two? Humans
- 7:39Speaker 1: breathe and oxygen and exhale? What carbon dioxide? Got it?
- 7:43Speaker 4: What movie feature is the line? Here's Johnny?
- 7:48Speaker 1: I don't know pass if you want pass? Okay? What's
- 7:53Speaker 1: twelve times six? Man?
- 7:57Speaker 5: Am I seventy two? Johnny Carson? No, we said movie though,
- 8:02Speaker 5: yees yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 4: The preamble, the amendments and articles are all part of
- 8:05Speaker 4: the US document, the what Constitution?
- 8:08Speaker 1: You got it? Who's the villain?
- 8:09Speaker 4: And Peter Pan captain hook guy who invented the light bulb?
- 8:14Speaker 1: Thomas Edison. Got it? Where does the fictional character Homer
- 8:17Speaker 1: Simpson work? Uh power plant? Springfield? What kind uh nuclear?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Got it? How many letters are in there in the
- 8:24Speaker 1: alphabet twenty six? Got it?
- 8:27Speaker 2: Who played the MC on the Battle of the Bands
- 8:29Speaker 2: in the two thousand and three movies Full of Rock.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I don't know, but that guy ruined the movie and
- 8:33Speaker 1: he was a huge dick.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Wrong wrong, yeah, him.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Set and I thought, yeah, you did pretty good. Dude. Hey,
- 8:43Speaker 1: what was that when I got wrong? How many bases
- 8:46Speaker 1: are there on? There's three plate? Three? Yeah? The plate's
- 8:49Speaker 1: not a home plate.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Base.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I don't with Blake. What do you think you're a
- 8:52Speaker 1: baseball fan for? He's a baseball with you?
- 8:57Speaker 4: I say three, buddy, thank you? Partial credit? First base,
- 9:00Speaker 4: second base, third base, and home plate? Home Plate's not
- 9:02Speaker 4: a bass. If it was a base, they call it
- 9:04Speaker 4: home base. They do call it home base?
- 9:06Speaker 1: Maybe they do. I'm not a sports guy. I don't know.
- 9:09Speaker 1: All right, anyway, I say three, I'm with you, I
- 9:11Speaker 1: thank you. I appreciate that. Yeah. Yeah, what movie features
- 9:13Speaker 1: the line? Here's Johnny? That was the shining You guys
- 9:17Speaker 1: will not believe this. I've never seen it.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Wow, what really no great movie. I'm not a movie guy,
- 9:21Speaker 2: but I like that movie a lot. Twelve times six
- 9:23Speaker 2: is seventy two preamble amendments. Articles are part of the
- 9:26Speaker 2: US Constitution. He got the rest of right, Captain Hooks
- 9:29Speaker 2: and Peter Pannell. I can't remember the last time I
- 9:31Speaker 2: watched Peter.
- 9:32Speaker 5: I can't believe I knew that the alphabet thing is
- 9:33Speaker 5: as simple as that sounds. I can't believe I had
- 9:35Speaker 5: that number right. Twenty six because Thomas said invented the
- 9:38Speaker 5: light bulb.
- 9:39Speaker 4: And the real important one who played the MC of
- 9:42Speaker 4: the Battle of the Bands in the two thousand and
- 9:44Speaker 4: three comedy School of Rock. That was mister Chris Line,
- 9:47Speaker 4: our guest today. That's pretty cool, though, you play myself?
- 9:50Speaker 7: All right, guys, this is it the moment of truth,
- 9:54Speaker 7: the winner of this year's Battle of the Bands competition.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Yah, bake it say.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I know you're probably tired of talk about it, but
- 10:06Speaker 2: it's cool as shit. So how did it come about?
- 10:09Speaker 2: What was your experience like shooting the movie? How long
- 10:11Speaker 2: did it take? Tell us from the beginning, we want
- 10:12Speaker 2: to hear it all.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Tell us.
- 10:14Speaker 5: Well, so there's a reason why movie tickets are like
- 10:16Speaker 5: forty seven thousand dollars a ticket because of the way
- 10:18Speaker 5: they treat the actors. I literally had one line. I
- 10:21Speaker 5: was there for a week. I had my own trailer.
- 10:23Speaker 5: I had to stand in under the lights, and I
- 10:25Speaker 5: had a PA that would walk around with me if
- 10:27Speaker 5: I ever had to go to the bathroom or go anywhere,
- 10:29Speaker 5: so I didn't get hit by a car or anything
- 10:31Speaker 5: like cause it was shot in Staten Island, where the
- 10:33Speaker 5: end of the film was shot, and literally because of
- 10:36Speaker 5: all the stuff I shot, say the day before, which
- 10:38Speaker 5: wasn't much, but the film's ruined then, like everything they shot.
- 10:41Speaker 5: If I got if I broke my leg, it was insane.
- 10:44Speaker 5: You have to eat every couple of hours. They have
- 10:46Speaker 5: to give you like fresh catered, culinary type food, like
- 10:49Speaker 5: they had chefs on set.
- 10:50Speaker 1: It was nuts.
- 10:51Speaker 5: And the way I got the part was I had
- 10:53Speaker 5: a manager at the time I was doing some stuff
- 10:55Speaker 5: for I think I'd already done MTV. Yeah, because that
- 10:58Speaker 5: was all before September eleventh. I did a little TV
- 11:00Speaker 5: show here and that helped me get into MTV.
- 11:02Speaker 1: And remind me we were just talking about age and
- 11:04Speaker 1: pop TV. It flopped a couple of times, yeah.
- 11:07Speaker 5: So I did all that, and the reason why I
- 11:09Speaker 5: did that was because I wanted to get a demo
- 11:11Speaker 5: reel put together to make it to MTV and that
- 11:14Speaker 5: was my dream and it came true. And then September
- 11:17Speaker 5: eleventh happened. Everything kind of shut down in Manhattan obviously,
- 11:19Speaker 5: and a lot of people got laid off there, and
- 11:21Speaker 5: I was doing part time filling in VJ stuff for
- 11:24Speaker 5: MTV two. There used to be a festival called the
- 11:27Speaker 5: Area fifty one Festival that I was asked to be
- 11:29Speaker 5: a part of, and I unfortunately could not make it.
- 11:32Speaker 5: And it was funny story, Blake, I was filling in
- 11:35Speaker 5: for you on zz O that week because you were
- 11:36Speaker 5: on vacation and I declined it, and it was the
- 11:38Speaker 5: biggest mistake of my life not doing it.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Doesn't it's fine. It was emptvo. Well yeah, but so
- 11:48Speaker 1: and listen. That was back when MTV two was on
- 11:51Speaker 1: like weird channels and like satellite TV. It wasn't on TV.
- 11:54Speaker 1: So that was another reason.
- 11:56Speaker 5: It was like my career was too important for me
- 11:57Speaker 5: to go to Area fifty one, MOBE festival whatever it was.
- 12:00Speaker 5: And then September eleventh happened and all that good stuff.
- 12:03Speaker 5: But anyway, That's how I got into kind of the
- 12:06Speaker 5: acting in the film role and stuff like that. And
- 12:07Speaker 5: then I just I got an audition. I had a
- 12:09Speaker 5: local agent here, Lois Miller Star Talent. She's passed away, unfortunately,
- 12:12Speaker 5: she was a wonderful woman, and I got the audition.
- 12:15Speaker 5: I went in, I read the part, and it was
- 12:17Speaker 5: the only time I ever had like the casting director
- 12:20Speaker 5: come back out after the audition and like she came
- 12:22Speaker 5: over to me and said.
- 12:23Speaker 1: You did really good, like you're really fit for that.
- 12:25Speaker 5: I'm like thanks, and I left and thought nothing of it,
- 12:27Speaker 5: and I'm like, wow, I've never had that happen before.
- 12:29Speaker 5: And then months went by and I saw a trailer
- 12:32Speaker 5: on like Entertainment Tonight for School of Rock and it
- 12:35Speaker 5: was like the very beginning of the movie. And I
- 12:36Speaker 5: didn't know at the time because the movie wasn't finished,
- 12:38Speaker 5: but I guess that's what they do, is they do trailers,
- 12:40Speaker 5: but they just put together whatever they can as fast
- 12:42Speaker 5: as they can, and it was all stuff.
- 12:43Speaker 1: That was already shot.
- 12:44Speaker 5: Wow, And I thought I didn't get the part, and
- 12:46Speaker 5: then Lois called me, and I think it was honestly
- 12:48Speaker 5: Valentine's Day weekend dish and was like, you got the part,
- 12:51Speaker 5: and I said a really big f bomb, And next
- 12:54Speaker 5: thing you know, I was up in Staten Island and
- 12:56Speaker 5: it was great. I was literally there for one week
- 12:58Speaker 5: and I had literally really one line in the script,
- 13:01Speaker 5: and it's that we just played yeah, and if you
- 13:03Speaker 5: listen to it, it's a lot more than one line,
- 13:06Speaker 5: because I had known that the part was obviously pivotal
- 13:08Speaker 5: because I gave away the end of the movie. So
- 13:11Speaker 5: I went and when Richard Langletter, who was the director,
- 13:14Speaker 5: who did I think, a dazed and confused, really famous guy,
- 13:17Speaker 5: never forget. He came up to me with this converse
- 13:19Speaker 5: Chuck Taylor's on his hands in his pocket, and he
- 13:21Speaker 5: just said, listen, you do this for a living, your
- 13:23Speaker 5: professional Your audition tape was great. He's like, just make
- 13:26Speaker 5: sure you mentioned, you know, Battle of the Band's winners,
- 13:28Speaker 5: no vacancy. So I immediately was like, I'm gonna turn
- 13:31Speaker 5: this one line into like five, and I know they
- 13:32Speaker 5: can't cut it because you know, it is what it is.
- 13:35Speaker 5: And then I went and saw the premiere in Manhattan
- 13:37Speaker 5: and it was awesome because I didn't know what they
- 13:39Speaker 5: were shooting either, so I had like a big Chris
- 13:41Speaker 5: linehead popped up. I had close ups, Like it was
- 13:43Speaker 5: really really neat to see it in the theater at
- 13:45Speaker 5: the time.
- 13:45Speaker 1: But that's how I got the role. I literally just
- 13:47Speaker 1: auditioned for it.
- 13:48Speaker 5: And wow, next thing, you know, And it was the
- 13:50Speaker 5: only thing I really did of significance. But it was
- 13:52Speaker 5: a number one movie. And who gets to say they
- 13:54Speaker 5: were in a number one paramount movies.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you're probably on fucking IMDb. I am. Yeah.
- 14:00Speaker 5: My good friends at Blackman's where I work now that Tim,
- 14:03Speaker 5: a good friend of mine, likes to go on and
- 14:05Speaker 5: we actually hired a new person last week and five
- 14:07Speaker 5: minutes after she started, he was on IMDb showing her
- 14:10Speaker 5: who I was embarrassing me and I'm like, tell you,
- 14:13Speaker 5: And they do it because they just they love it.
- 14:15Speaker 5: It's cool. I bust my own balls. But it's an
- 14:17Speaker 5: honor to have been in that flick, you know. And
- 14:20Speaker 5: people always ask Jack Black was he got He was
- 14:22Speaker 5: there the whole time.
- 14:22Speaker 1: That's the cool thing. They need to be on set,
- 14:25Speaker 1: just like the extras. Dude, like the whole time.
- 14:26Speaker 5: So six in the morning, call sheets and you see
- 14:28Speaker 5: his name and how he's getting car service to the set.
- 14:31Speaker 5: It's just cool to see that stuff next to me, Like,
- 14:33Speaker 5: my name's on there too. I'm like, this is cool.
- 14:35Speaker 5: And Joan Cusack was in it, I was more excited
- 14:37Speaker 5: to meet her. I got to meet her and just
- 14:39Speaker 5: told her like, I love you, I love your brother.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Gross point Blank is like one of my favorite movies.
- 14:43Speaker 5: And it was just I was completely starstruck.
- 14:45Speaker 1: That's awesome. I am not a movie guy.
- 14:47Speaker 2: That is one of the only movies that I genuinely love,
- 14:51Speaker 2: love love, love love love rock.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Love is school rock and have for a long time.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I mean I was a little kid.
- 14:56Speaker 2: That was I just actually I bought the as of recently,
- 14:58Speaker 2: I bought the soundtrack on y S.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Yes absolutely well.
- 15:02Speaker 4: I love that you look at all these albums that's
- 15:05Speaker 4: going up that's going up there on the wall.
- 15:07Speaker 1: The only autograph that depreciates there you go.
- 15:13Speaker 5: What's really cool though, this is a cool story. Miranda Coscro,
- 15:16Speaker 5: who played Summer, became a massive song I Carly Yes
- 15:20Speaker 5: and Drake and Josh, which was huge. I didn't even
- 15:24Speaker 5: know that was what. No, I didn't know that I'm
- 15:26Speaker 5: forty years older than you. But what was cool was
- 15:31Speaker 5: when I think it was the tent year anniversary came out.
- 15:34Speaker 5: The kids did part of like a director's cut, and
- 15:36Speaker 5: they narrate the whole movie, and when My Park comes out,
- 15:38Speaker 5: they were talking about they go, oh, that's credit. He
- 15:40Speaker 5: was a DJ in real life. He's really a DJ
- 15:42Speaker 5: at radio station. And then when Miranda came through to
- 15:45Speaker 5: play music Fest, which was awesome. Rick Dittman at the time,
- 15:48Speaker 5: who was a salesman, he's not there anymore, he's moved out.
- 15:50Speaker 5: West Rick went up to him was like, do you
- 15:52Speaker 5: remember Chris. He's like, yeah, he goes this is the
- 15:54Speaker 5: radio station he worked out when he did school Rock
- 15:56Speaker 5: with you, and she was like, oh my god. And
- 15:57Speaker 5: they actually got her on the Like I talked to
- 15:59Speaker 5: her and it was like, cool, I was gonna go
- 16:02Speaker 5: to the show and I just ended up not going.
- 16:03Speaker 1: But it would have been great to see her. But
- 16:05Speaker 1: I mean, congrats to her on her success. Oh cool. Yeah,
- 16:07Speaker 1: it's pretty neat.
- 16:07Speaker 5: But as colose as you came in toward the radio
- 16:09Speaker 5: station when she was a big pop star and they
- 16:10Speaker 5: were like, yeah, he used to work here.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I'm like, that's awesome. And then we fired him. Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 1: they didn't fire me.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Memories, No, it was it was great. I my days
- 16:21Speaker 5: at w ZZL were absolutely fantastic. It was it was
- 16:23Speaker 5: an honor to work there.
- 16:24Speaker 4: We are so happy to have you on this podcast.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Man Blake, how you doing over there?
- 16:29Speaker 1: All right? Cool?
- 16:30Speaker 2: All right, let's get to some trivia here, shall we?
- 16:33Speaker 2: Trivia time, Chris? You excited for the trivia?
- 16:35Speaker 3: I am.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I did better than I thought on the rapid Fire.
- 16:38Speaker 1: All right, ready here, mister Becker, I'm going first this time.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Question number one.
- 16:43Speaker 2: All right, last week we did what's Cooking? Very well received,
- 16:46Speaker 2: so we have to do it again. Okay, what are
- 16:48Speaker 2: we cooking?
- 16:49Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you the ingredients and you tell me
- 16:51Speaker 4: what we're what we're cooking up?
- 16:53Speaker 1: Shrimp? I hate shrimp. Side note, roach, It's fucking nasty, dude.
- 16:59Speaker 2: You know when you go to you go to like
- 17:00Speaker 2: a picnic and you see the shrimp sitting out there.
- 17:03Speaker 2: It's just like this raw, fleshy looking shrimp with the
- 17:05Speaker 2: red dipping whatever.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it loves gross, dude.
- 17:10Speaker 2: It looks gross. It looks like a body part. Anyway, shrimp,
- 17:15Speaker 2: there she goes again. Yeah, shrimp, rice, celery bell peppers,
- 17:21Speaker 2: onion and cajun spices.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Sounds like a gumbo or a jumbalaya, gumbo gumbo?
- 17:27Speaker 1: Can I do gumbo gumbo?
- 17:29Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 17:30Speaker 4: He's a m I go to the Bayou and I'm like,
- 17:36Speaker 4: which one is it that I don't remember if I
- 17:37Speaker 4: like the gumbo or if it's the jumble.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I always get those too. What's the difference.
- 17:40Speaker 4: I think one has like n dewey sausage and gumbo
- 17:44Speaker 4: has sausage.
- 17:45Speaker 1: In a jumbalaya, doesn't right? Yeah? Is that the way is?
- 17:47Speaker 1: I think? Yeah? You know.
- 17:49Speaker 2: The other thing I don't like this is my hot take.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I think that, uh, what do you call it? Sushi?
- 17:53Speaker 1: Yeah? Foul?
- 17:56Speaker 5: I love sushi. Oh oh, My twelve year old loves sushi,
- 17:59Speaker 5: and he thinks we could eat it every day. I'm like,
- 18:00Speaker 5: what kind of job do you think I have it?
- 18:02Speaker 5: I can take you out to Kome for sushi every day.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Your kid is twelve?
- 18:05Speaker 4: Yeah, CORRECT can't believe he's twelve, two years older than
- 18:09Speaker 4: Shut up, bitch, I'm jealous.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I wish I was your age. Yeah, sushi, I don't
- 18:15Speaker 1: know it was fast, man.
- 18:16Speaker 4: I tell him it goes fucking Maybe one day I'll
- 18:19Speaker 4: like raw fish and seaweed.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Yeah that sounds wonderful. I just I want to eat
- 18:22Speaker 1: it right now.
- 18:23Speaker 5: You know what's really good that you would like and
- 18:24Speaker 5: it's actually cooked is unagi, which is an eel.
- 18:28Speaker 1: It sounds Why do we gotta eat weird shit? Can
- 18:30Speaker 1: anybody explain to me? It's just like anytime we go
- 18:33Speaker 1: out to eat Becker's like, oh, what do you want
- 18:35Speaker 1: to go get Mexican?
- 18:36Speaker 8: It's like, God, nothing agets Mexican food, but geez, can
- 18:40Speaker 8: we get some hamburgers once in a while?
- 18:42Speaker 1: You know, a chicken sandwich.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Mexican I can't do because a I don't really eat
- 18:46Speaker 5: fast food, and all my son likes is Taco Bell.
- 18:48Speaker 5: I'm like, dude, you gotta go to authentic Mexican. I
- 18:50Speaker 5: don't like like Taco Bell. I'm like, it's not real
- 18:53Speaker 5: Mexican food. It's not even real meat. I don't sure
- 18:56Speaker 5: what meat it is that it's good. I'm eating it.
- 18:57Speaker 5: Don't tell me.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Whether you used to work at Taco Bell, love Taco Bell.
- 19:00Speaker 4: Taco Bell is great. You're just a Cobell alumni, right,
- 19:04Speaker 4: Taco Bell is you know it's top tier, But it's
- 19:07Speaker 4: top tier in my opinion as far as fast food,
- 19:09Speaker 4: because I've worked there. I know what the food looks
- 19:11Speaker 4: like and I remember it wasn't so fake? What was
- 19:13Speaker 4: that eighty years ago? Shut the fuck up? See no
- 19:17Speaker 4: talk about the seventies. I don't like this anymore. Question two,
- 19:22Speaker 4: all right, category is fake places. Where was Dorothy traveling
- 19:27Speaker 4: to in her quest to meet the Wizard of Oz?
- 19:30Speaker 1: She only says it like four thousand times in the movie,
- 19:32Speaker 1: like we talked about the Wizard of Oz in one
- 19:34Speaker 1: of the other episodes. I've only seen that movie one time,
- 19:36Speaker 1: one of my favorite movies. But it's not a town.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Did I ask this question before? Oh? If you did,
- 19:41Speaker 1: it's even worse, because shit, I don't remember. We should
- 19:44Speaker 1: both remember. I don't remember.
- 19:45Speaker 4: All right, she was going to do uh, Emeralds something right,
- 19:49Speaker 4: I don't know. Keep is it emerald City?
- 19:52Speaker 1: Thank you?
- 19:54Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 19:54Speaker 1: Man, you know if I'm like struggling, he just gets
- 19:57Speaker 1: fucking me.
- 19:59Speaker 2: You wanted to give up. You're a quitter and you
- 20:01Speaker 2: were getting it right anyway. You're waiting for question three.
- 20:04Speaker 4: Question three, all right, we talked about the Simpsons briefly
- 20:09Speaker 4: here in the rapid round.
- 20:10Speaker 1: What's the name of the fictional beer duff oh bazy harder?
- 20:17Speaker 4: I don't oh, sorry, thank you?
- 20:21Speaker 1: You know what, just because all right?
- 20:24Speaker 4: Question four twenty what uh sports?
- 20:30Speaker 1: Sports? Sports? Sports?
- 20:32Speaker 4: Which Olympic sport has twists, tucks and pikes?
- 20:39Speaker 1: I believe in you?
- 20:40Speaker 4: I think I have it. I want to say swimming.
- 20:43Speaker 4: That's kind of swimming like diving diving. Yeah, is that
- 20:46Speaker 4: your final answer?
- 20:47Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 20:49Speaker 4: See, I thought it might have been gymnastics. Twisting, tucking probably.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I think that's when you tuck cares.
- 20:57Speaker 4: It's when you when you you know, it's one. Yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 4: when you pike it? You know, when do you pike it?
- 21:02Speaker 1: Hey? Ai? Andy in pikes or in pikes? Dimond? What what?
- 21:07Speaker 1: I'm so high? Jesus Christ? In diving? What's a pike?
- 21:11Speaker 4: A pike in diving is basically one of the body
- 21:14Speaker 4: positions you can take when you do a dive.
- 21:16Speaker 9: So when a diver's in a pike, they're kind of
- 21:18Speaker 9: bending at the hips, but their legs are kept really straight.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Did my turn? Yeah? I guess should we play one
- 21:24Speaker 1: of these little things first? Yeah? Okay, ready trivia?
- 21:28Speaker 6: Man, it's like the universe asking us questions, you know, Yeah,
- 21:36Speaker 6: the Blazing Confused podcast.

- 21:58Speaker 4: sold as a medicinal for diarrhea?
- 22:01Speaker 1: Trojan, Oh, you said condiment? Yeah? Really?
- 22:05Speaker 2: Isn't it weird that anytime you hear the word condiment
- 22:07Speaker 2: you automatically assume ketchup, no matter what it is.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Like, I want to say ketchup, but I don't know
- 22:12Speaker 1: if I.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Should should I final answer, I'm trying to look at
- 22:15Speaker 2: your face to see if I should say ketchup.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Blake's saying no, no, He's shaking his head. No.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Miracle whip no, which, by the way, I don't really
- 22:24Speaker 2: feel a big difference between miracle whip and uh mayo
- 22:27Speaker 2: potato potato.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Same difference. I don't know there was a difference.
- 22:30Speaker 4: The miracle whip is like whipped up. It's whipped up mayo. No,
- 22:34Speaker 4: it's different, it's not it's lighter, right as they say,
- 22:37Speaker 4: they call it a dressing. Really, Yeah, it's sweet.
- 22:40Speaker 1: It's sweet. It's sweeter than man.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Maybe it is a little sweeter anyway, dude, people hate it.
- 22:45Speaker 4: There's a lot of people out there that hate miracle. Oh,
- 22:47Speaker 4: I know I like it though I like it too.
- 22:50Speaker 4: I wonder if the year If I give you the
- 22:51Speaker 4: year that eighteen thirty seven, so it was like back
- 22:54Speaker 4: in the day.
- 22:55Speaker 1: So then maybe it has to be ketchup. I'm gonna
- 22:57Speaker 1: say ketchup. Got it? After all?
- 23:00Speaker 4: That eighteen thirty seven was once thought to help with diarrhea, indigestion,
- 23:05Speaker 4: and liver damage.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Now it gives you all those.
- 23:08Speaker 4: So they made it into tomato pills cross eighteen thirty seven,
- 23:12Speaker 4: and then they gave up on it like eighteen fifty,
- 23:14Speaker 4: but it went on for thirteen years.
- 23:16Speaker 1: People were like this might work. Interesting. Yeah, anyway, ketchup?
- 23:20Speaker 1: All right? For what ails you? By the way, do

- 28:43Speaker 1: long term.
- 28:44Speaker 8: And if you want to be the teacher's bad, maybe
- 28:49Speaker 8: you gotta forget it.
- 28:56Speaker 1: That deaf coord definitely is not right. But you know
- 28:58Speaker 1: I remember learning those school long time. You're pretty talented guy. Man. Oh,
- 29:05Speaker 1: thank you man.
- 29:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I miss my Martin guitar. I've been wanting to
- 29:08Speaker 5: buy another acoustic guitar. Maybe this will be the day I.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Oh these guitars. I'll give you one.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Hold on, we'll give you one. As much as I
- 29:18Speaker 2: love my radio career and my DJ career and my
- 29:22Speaker 2: event hosting career and podcasting career and what else do
- 29:25Speaker 2: I do?
- 29:26Speaker 1: I do? What else?
- 29:27Speaker 2: You know, anything to avoid having a real job. Sometimes
- 29:30Speaker 2: I do think I could be unstoppable if I did
- 29:32Speaker 2: have like a real job, Like could you imagine, like
- 29:34Speaker 2: if I was kind of job like a doctor, or.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Like a lawyer or something, well, a lawyer, a judge
- 29:40Speaker 1: or something.
- 29:41Speaker 4: I think you would make a really good lawyer a lawyer,
- 29:44Speaker 4: because you're you argue everything. You're super opinionated, You're very
- 29:48Speaker 4: passionate whether you love or hate something. I always know
- 29:51Speaker 4: where you stand on things, and usually you hate it.
- 29:54Speaker 4: But I think you'd be a really good lawyer. Do
- 29:56Speaker 4: I think you could ask the bar exam? Absolutely fucking not.
- 30:00Speaker 4: What is the bar exam entail? I don't know a
- 30:03Speaker 4: lot going to the bar.
- 30:05Speaker 1: The only reason.
- 30:07Speaker 5: This is stupid that I know this. I happened to
- 30:10Speaker 5: see on some form of social media the other day
- 30:12Speaker 5: that Kim Kardashian she didn't pass it yet. She took
- 30:16Speaker 5: it in May, and she finds out in November with
- 30:18Speaker 5: like a couple hundred other people if she passed it
- 30:20Speaker 5: or not. It's like the most grueling test. The California
- 30:23Speaker 5: Bar exam, and I think it was five written questions
- 30:26Speaker 5: that were like two hours each, like you had to do,
- 30:28Speaker 5: and then there was like a crap out of multiple
- 30:30Speaker 5: choice questions on a whole separate test. But it's pretty
- 30:33Speaker 5: grueling thing. But I just happened to read about it
- 30:35Speaker 5: like a day or two ago, so I vaguely kind
- 30:37Speaker 5: of knew. But yeah, and I didn't realize she didn't
- 30:39Speaker 5: go to school either, like she went and did like
- 30:41Speaker 5: an apprenticeship for years, and you can still become a
- 30:43Speaker 5: lawyer if you don't go to law school.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I didn't know that was I didn't know that either.
- 30:47Speaker 5: Approval rates only like thirty percent in the state there
- 30:50Speaker 5: to pass it the first time, Not that we need
- 30:53Speaker 5: to talk about Kim Kardashian, but no, no, no, that's
- 30:55Speaker 5: gotta be a that's a lot of work to get
- 30:57Speaker 5: that man.
- 30:58Speaker 1: So kudos to her for that, at least. I don't
- 30:59Speaker 1: think that the past the bar exam either. I'm not
- 31:02Speaker 1: a good test taker. We touched on it last week.
- 31:04Speaker 1: It took me a long time to hit my driver's
- 31:07Speaker 1: permit test. Was there four tries something like that.
- 31:10Speaker 2: The year that I turned sixteen, my birthday was on Friday,
- 31:13Speaker 2: I think so. I turned sixteen on a Friday, and
- 31:16Speaker 2: the day after, on Saturday morning.
- 31:18Speaker 10: My mom woke me up early and drove me down
- 31:20Speaker 10: to the DMV. And we get down to the DMV
- 31:23Speaker 10: and there's a shitload of people there. Dude, It's like
- 31:25Speaker 10: the one right down here Saturday morning. It's mob full
- 31:27Speaker 10: of people to the point where the line was outside.
- 31:30Speaker 2: You had to wait in the parking lot and get
- 31:32Speaker 2: your way in, which apparently all the DMVs are very
- 31:35Speaker 2: bad right now, just as bad to get your real idea,
- 31:38Speaker 2: which I've yet to do.
- 31:39Speaker 1: So I did it.
- 31:39Speaker 10: I did it.
- 31:40Speaker 5: I got there a half an hour early. Think I
- 31:41Speaker 5: was gonna be the first one there. There was like
- 31:43Speaker 5: three hundred people in front of me.
- 31:44Speaker 4: I have to bring like a bunch of shit with you, though, right,
- 31:46Speaker 4: don't you have to bring like a utility bill, like
- 31:48Speaker 4: a you do a ball hair sample, you know, like
- 31:51Speaker 4: just you have to bring a bunch of random shit
- 31:53Speaker 4: just to get your fucking real one.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I got in.
- 31:54Speaker 5: I somehow misplaced between my house and getting there. I
- 31:57Speaker 5: couldn't figure out where my Social Security card was when
- 32:00Speaker 5: I got in. After waiting for three hours, thank god,
- 32:02Speaker 5: they let me go back out and leave my place
- 32:04Speaker 5: in line.
- 32:04Speaker 1: I found it in between my seats and my car.
- 32:06Speaker 2: He went in and he's like, listen, I have this
- 32:08Speaker 2: sample on my ball here, but I don't have my
- 32:10Speaker 2: Social Security card.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I don't know what you want me to do.
- 32:13Speaker 5: Whenever you go get it, Joel, clear your schedule, I'm
- 32:15Speaker 5: telling you, or go an hour before they go.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Let seven am, dude, and you'll thank me later. Yeah.
- 32:20Speaker 4: No, the driving test, So I remember my mom taking
- 32:22Speaker 4: me that Saturday after I turned sixteen, and we waited
- 32:24Speaker 4: in line for hours and hours and hours, probably like
- 32:27Speaker 4: four hours on Saturday.
- 32:28Speaker 1: It was crazy. And then after all that, I failed
- 32:31Speaker 1: the fucking test. Yeah.
- 32:33Speaker 2: And then, admittedly I remember the first time. I didn't study,
- 32:35Speaker 2: I didn't read the fucking book. I just thought it'd
- 32:37Speaker 2: be like common sense and I'd be able to go
- 32:39Speaker 2: in and figure it out. It probably was common sense
- 32:42Speaker 2: looking back. I still did not pass it the first time,
- 32:44Speaker 2: nor did I pass it the second time, or the
- 32:46Speaker 2: third time or the fourth time. I think that I
- 32:48Speaker 2: got it on the fifth try or the fourth I
- 32:50Speaker 2: can't remember, but I believe it was good.
- 32:52Speaker 1: God.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Again, I think about all the things that I could
- 32:54Speaker 2: be doing. If I wasn't on the radio, I could
- 32:56Speaker 2: be a driver. I would love to have a job
- 32:58Speaker 2: where I just.
- 32:59Speaker 4: Drive around all day because you just do your thing,
- 33:01Speaker 4: and you can do with uber and lyft. I would, Well,
- 33:03Speaker 4: I don't want other people in my car though. Ye
- 33:05Speaker 4: be a truck driver. You get to go see the country,
- 33:07Speaker 4: you get paid well, and you get to.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Just drive and listen to your ship. Yeah.
- 33:10Speaker 5: I love nowadays the podcast and stuff for audible audio books.
- 33:14Speaker 1: You just drive for eight hours. Next you know, you
- 33:16Speaker 1: read like nine novels. That's how I would practice for
- 33:19Speaker 1: the bar exam. I'm gonna have to uproot my life.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Could you do that though, like sit and listen to
- 33:23Speaker 4: audio books? If it, then pay attention. If it meant
- 33:26Speaker 4: that I would become a lawyer eventually, sure, well, I think.
- 33:28Speaker 1: You make a hell of a lawyer. I would.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Yeah, this is the kind of this is the kind
- 33:33Speaker 2: of judge that I'd be. Listen to this, listen to this.
- 33:36Speaker 3: We the jury find that Fine guilty as to all
- 33:38Speaker 3: six counts. So deep bill of indictment, did I say not?
- 33:45Speaker 1: Sorry?
- 33:47Speaker 3: We the jury find that Finnan not guilty on all
- 33:50Speaker 3: six counts. I apologize for my misprecige.
- 33:56Speaker 5: Wow, he was not guilty, and they read it as guilty. Yes,
- 34:00Speaker 5: that's crazy guy.
- 34:02Speaker 2: And this was murder, aggravated assault, first degree, criminal damage
- 34:06Speaker 2: to property, the possession of a firearm while committing a crime,
- 34:10Speaker 2: and two other related counts.
- 34:12Speaker 4: And he's like, you fucking guilty and your inside just
- 34:16Speaker 4: are crumbling.
- 34:19Speaker 1: End of your life. And then he's like, oh wait,
- 34:22Speaker 1: wrong paper.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I can see myself doing that, And that, ladies
- 34:25Speaker 2: and gentlemen, is why I haven't passed the bar yet.
- 34:29Speaker 2: I haven't even there's there's a lot leading.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Up to taking the bar. But also thank god, we're
- 34:35Speaker 1: working on getting a lawyer on the podcast.
- 34:38Speaker 4: Yeah, that'll be interesting, it would be we need one.
- 34:41Speaker 4: We need one just to cover all you have one
- 34:43Speaker 4: on just in case. All right, what else you started
- 34:47Speaker 4: talking about? You bring something to eat for the bunch
- 34:48Speaker 4: of minute? What are we eating? One of my favorite
- 34:51Speaker 4: snacks in the world, bunch of crunch. Holy I don't
- 34:54Speaker 4: know if I've ever had a bunch of crunch. They're
- 34:56Speaker 4: Nestley crunch, you know, like a Nestli crunch bar. It's
- 34:59Speaker 4: just in the pieces.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Okay, dope, right, Yeah, I'd offer to Sharon, but sorry everybody.
- 35:05Speaker 5: See, that's why I don't buy that stuff because I
- 35:06Speaker 5: would eat the whole bag. And that's my kryptonite is
- 35:08Speaker 5: parmesan crisp was a little crisp. It's just palm cheese.
- 35:11Speaker 5: I literally will eat the entire bag in one setting.
- 35:13Speaker 4: And it's just nine It's like six ninety nine for
- 35:16Speaker 4: the smallest ridiculous.
- 35:17Speaker 1: I found some on Amazon.
- 35:19Speaker 5: I actually bought to yesterday and they came they're gone
- 35:21Speaker 5: already item last night.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:22Speaker 5: Literally, that's why don't want them because I just all
- 35:24Speaker 5: eat the whole I bought six previously and they were
- 35:27Speaker 5: gone in like a band.
- 35:27Speaker 4: A lot of them are labeled like salad toppers. Yeah,
- 35:30Speaker 4: salad toppers. They're fucking snacks in my mouth. A funny
- 35:34Speaker 4: story about these bunch of crunch So years ago, I
- 35:37Speaker 4: was with a bunch of friends, no pun intended, but
- 35:40Speaker 4: we went to the Boyd downtown Bethlehem. Rest in peace,
- 35:43Speaker 4: of course the Boyd Theater is gone, but anyway, that
- 35:45Speaker 4: was a very unique theater, old school.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I still got the name on the front of it.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Like everything else.
- 35:50Speaker 4: It's an apartment now and then, but the flooring and
- 35:53Speaker 4: that the floor in there is was just slanted.
- 35:56Speaker 1: So perfectly right.
- 35:57Speaker 4: So we went there to go to see The Dark Knight, right,
- 36:00Speaker 4: get my bunch of crunch out, and right in the
- 36:02Speaker 4: beginning of the movie, I dropped them and you just
- 36:05Speaker 4: hear it roll all the way down like I just went, oh,
- 36:11Speaker 4: my bunch of crunch, and my friends fucking died laughing
- 36:14Speaker 4: like they heard this action of me dropping this scandy.
- 36:17Speaker 4: And then it's like twelve year old boys sounded.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Like, oh, my bunch of crunch.
- 36:20Speaker 4: A fucking twenty nine year old man, that's my bunch
- 36:22Speaker 4: of crush. Did you eat any of the bunch of
- 36:24Speaker 4: crunch when you found them on the floor? Did you
- 36:25Speaker 4: go down to the front of the theater and picking
- 36:27Speaker 4: me up?
- 36:27Speaker 2: I am a big fan of the five second roll.
- 36:30Speaker 2: In fact, that's the ten second roll.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Now.
- 36:32Speaker 4: Yeah, where were we at yesterday and you were, oh,
- 36:34Speaker 4: you dropped your fork on the ground and you were
- 36:35Speaker 4: like ten second roll. I was like, wow, back in
- 36:37Speaker 4: the day, it was the five second rule. You guys
- 36:39Speaker 4: get five extra seconds these days, this new generation.
- 36:42Speaker 5: I did it at music Fest, sitting at our little
- 36:43Speaker 5: plot up music Fest. When with THEO, is it Theo's Gyro's. Yeah, yeah,
- 36:48Speaker 5: I dropped a piece of the gyro meat. I'm like,
- 36:49Speaker 5: I'm not wasting that, you know. I'm like, nope, that's
- 36:53Speaker 5: like a dollar right there.
- 36:54Speaker 1: I'm eating it. And I picked it right up off
- 36:55Speaker 1: the grass and I ate it and it was damn good.
- 36:57Speaker 4: Where was I at the other day, somebody got popcorn
- 36:59Speaker 4: like in a maybe I'll leave it or something, and
- 37:01Speaker 4: but somebody dropped popcorn on the ground in the grass
- 37:04Speaker 4: and they just left.
- 37:05Speaker 1: It there, and I was like, don't waste that. It's
- 37:08Speaker 1: just on the grass. Yeah, likes not like a heavy
- 37:11Speaker 1: food that's like touching the earth. It was probably just
- 37:13Speaker 1: laying right on top of the grass. However, I will say,
- 37:15Speaker 1: enjoy your popcorn.
- 37:16Speaker 2: I kept getting these ads on the TikTok shop for
- 37:21Speaker 2: for the high top all white Converse, which I've never
- 37:24Speaker 2: had because my mother would never grown up. My mother
- 37:27Speaker 2: would never buy me white shoes because she would always say,
- 37:29Speaker 2: and that stand up. So I've never owned white shoes ever.
- 37:33Speaker 2: So I buy these shoes because I'm thinking I won
- 37:34Speaker 2: fucking white shoes, I owed to myself. So I bought
- 37:36Speaker 2: them right before music Fest, and I wore them one
- 37:40Speaker 2: night at music. I literally took them out of the box,
- 37:42Speaker 2: wore them one night at music fest. Dude, these shoes
- 37:45Speaker 2: came back like around.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Yeah. So now I'm like, maybe I shouldn't be eating
- 37:51Speaker 1: food off the floor. Maybe I shouldn't. Maybe the ten
- 37:55Speaker 1: second roll is no good. Well, I'm glad you enjoyed
- 37:57Speaker 1: your bunch of crunches. Have a little birthday snack for you,
- 38:00Speaker 1: and I have the rest of them. Yeah, wow, birthday
- 38:03Speaker 1: to me. I think I think you're gonna eat them
- 38:04Speaker 1: all anyway. But this is what I do. I want
- 38:07Speaker 1: to share with anybody. Can't imagine where your hands where.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I can't wait to dig into these great right.
- 38:16Speaker 5: Oh good, I haven't had a crunch barn, Yeah, exactly,
- 38:19Speaker 5: eat the whole bag, blake, do a bunch of crunch
- 38:22Speaker 5: go with beer.
- 38:23Speaker 4: I don't know what you're drinking over there? Yeah hm,
- 38:26Speaker 4: they certainly. I'll tell you where my hands have been.
- 38:31Speaker 4: What's that other one?
- 38:32Speaker 1: We have? That blue sound? No one's like a splat?
- 38:37Speaker 1: Oh I got rid of this one. I got that
- 38:39Speaker 1: one to put this one on alright, guys.
- 38:42Speaker 7: The Moment of Truth the winner of this year's Battle
- 38:46Speaker 7: of the Bands competition.
- 38:49Speaker 1: There's no and you know you have Bob Holder to
- 38:55Speaker 1: think for your film career. Yes, coach Bob. God love you,
- 38:59Speaker 1: Coach Bob. I don't know if you wanted to say
- 39:00Speaker 1: a little something about Bob real quick, at.
- 39:02Speaker 5: A loss for words, as many people are. It was
- 39:04Speaker 5: very sudden and unexpected. I hadn't seen Bob in probably
- 39:07Speaker 5: ten years. We worked together, obviously at the radio station,
- 39:09Speaker 5: and Bob was so good at sales that and I'm
- 39:12Speaker 5: pretty good at seeing a salesperson coming from a mile
- 39:14Speaker 5: away working in marketing and advertising. Yeah, Bob literally went
- 39:18Speaker 5: down the music fest with his dog, was walking the dog.
- 39:20Speaker 5: One of my coworkers called me and said that Bob
- 39:22Speaker 5: was here to see you, thinking he's just.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Walking the dog saying hi. A couple days later, he's like, Hey,
- 39:27Speaker 1: I'm down here again. Where are you at? I'm like,
- 39:28Speaker 1: why does he keep wanting to see me? I'm like,
- 39:29Speaker 1: he must miss me. That's cool.
- 39:30Speaker 5: So I get down there. He's waiting for me, like
- 39:32Speaker 5: eleven thirty before music fests open. He's down there, he's
- 39:34Speaker 5: got the car. Music Fest isn't open yet, so he's
- 39:35Speaker 5: just parked outside of where arttle spot was. Not ten
- 39:38Speaker 5: seconds into saying hi, to me. He starts pitching me
- 39:40Speaker 5: a zzo broadcast. I go, Bob, I can't believe this.
- 39:42Speaker 5: I go, I am so stupid.
- 39:44Speaker 1: I go.
- 39:44Speaker 5: I didn't see this coming from a mile away. I
- 39:46Speaker 5: thought you actually missed me and wanted to say hi
- 39:48Speaker 5: to me, not pitch me something. I said, that's how
- 39:50Speaker 5: good you are at sales that you got one over
- 39:52Speaker 5: on me, and that doesn't happen. Yeah, And we did
- 39:55Speaker 5: the broadcast and it was with Joel and it was great,
- 39:56Speaker 5: and it was really awesome that after a long time,
- 39:59Speaker 5: I got to see Bob and work with him about
- 40:00Speaker 5: a month ago, and God bless him.
- 40:02Speaker 1: I'm could have missed him dearly.
- 40:03Speaker 5: And I was looking back at old text from him
- 40:05Speaker 5: today and it's it was just an honor to call
- 40:08Speaker 5: him my friend for waybe on more than half my life.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Yeah, and thank you for the career, Bob. Thank you for.
- 40:14Speaker 5: Bob was actually the casting agent for School of Rock
- 40:16Speaker 5: that gave me the job. He was the casting director
- 40:19Speaker 5: and he would take credit for that.
- 40:21Speaker 6: Bob.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good one, gone way too soon. Blake,
- 40:24Speaker 1: do you have an want to say anything about Bob.
- 40:26Speaker 9: I didn't know Bob very well, but my impression from
- 40:29Speaker 9: everybody who did know him well. Over the last few days,
- 40:33Speaker 9: everybody is saying the same thing about just how great
- 40:35Speaker 9: a guy he was, that he was exasperating and hilarious
- 40:40Speaker 9: and you wanted to kill him, but you loved him.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Legend in his own mind was a legend.
- 40:44Speaker 9: And every time I did have an interaction with him,
- 40:47Speaker 9: every time he opened his mouth, I was laughing hysterics,
- 40:50Speaker 9: you know. So I wasn't close to him, but I
- 40:52Speaker 9: can totally appreciate the loss. And it's been great to
- 40:55Speaker 9: see all the tributes over the last few days, and
- 40:57Speaker 9: everybody is saying the same thing I said.
- 40:59Speaker 5: I posted something on social media when I found out
- 41:01Speaker 5: he had passed away, just a picture of me and
- 41:02Speaker 5: him at the radio station from a month ago that
- 41:04Speaker 5: I took and then he asked me, like a couple
- 41:06Speaker 5: hours later if I would send it to him, And
- 41:07Speaker 5: I think, Joel, that weekend, you and I got some
- 41:09Speaker 5: pictures with him at music Quest and the engagement, just
- 41:12Speaker 5: the amount of people that because you know, he knew
- 41:14Speaker 5: everybody and he was a force of nature.
- 41:16Speaker 1: I mean, he was bigger than life.
- 41:17Speaker 5: But I can't believe the amount of people in that
- 41:19Speaker 5: short amount of time that like commented or liked that
- 41:22Speaker 5: post or hearted it, and just the guy was really
- 41:25Speaker 5: in a lot of people's lives and he's going to
- 41:26Speaker 5: be beyond miss to any words that I can.
- 41:28Speaker 1: I can say right now, we love Bob.
- 41:30Speaker 9: You guys were doing the trivia as you do, and
- 41:33Speaker 9: you had been previous to that, you had been telling
- 41:36Speaker 9: some your mom jokes.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:38Speaker 9: Boy, So Chris just was wondering out loud, and he
- 41:41Speaker 9: said it in the podcast. He said, what were people
- 41:43Speaker 9: putting condiments on in eighteen thirty seven?
- 41:46Speaker 1: You looked at your mom.
- 41:50Speaker 4: And on that note, ladies and gentlemen, there it is
- 41:54Speaker 4: episode seventeen. Thank you to Chris Lyine and our friend
- 41:57Speaker 4: Blake Dan And in the background there.
- 41:59Speaker 1: We like having a studio audience. This is free. Maybe
