- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Hey my friend, welcome to today's episode of the Daily Writer Podcast.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: My guess is that there's something that's been bothering you.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: It's like a pebble in your shoe that irritates you just enough that you think about it all the time.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: It intimidates you.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: It taunts you and it won't let you stop thinking about it.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Well, what is this thing that's possibly irritating you?
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: It might be a phone call or an email that you're too afraid to send because you might be rejected.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: It might be a book that you're afraid to start writing because you don't know how it's going to be received.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: It might be the writing business that seems too daunting to start because you've never done this before.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Eleanor Roosevelt once said, You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: If you've got something that intimidates you and it's weighing on your mind, you've got to do it.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: You must stare it in the face and you must declare that it has no power over you.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: You've got to face it dead on and just to get that sucker done.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: There is no other way.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: You will be blocked, and you will not be able to move forward until you tackle this task.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: It is the only pathway forward.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Here's today's question.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: What's the one thing that you think you cannot do, and what are you going to do about it today?
