- 0:09Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 0:13Speaker 2: radio show. Man, oh man, old man. Hey, you know today,
- 0:20Speaker 2: I just want to say something that I don't think
- 0:26Speaker 2: I've ever shared this way before. The The title is
- 0:34Speaker 2: very simple, and that is it's been worth it to me,
- 0:42Speaker 2: you know. I I just I just kept thinking that
- 0:46Speaker 2: this morning, that it's all been worth it to me.
- 0:52Speaker 2: And what I mean by that is this relationship that
- 0:56Speaker 2: I have with my heavenly father, it's been worth it
- 1:00Speaker 2: to me. I can't even tell you the value that
- 1:07Speaker 2: it has had in my life. I can't tell you
- 1:13Speaker 2: how it's helped me to understand not only my purpose,
- 1:21Speaker 2: but to better understand my past.
- 1:25Speaker 1: That's that's critical, man.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Because I'm grateful for that, because so many people can't
- 1:33Speaker 2: get beyond their past and event a set of circumstances,
- 1:38Speaker 2: some calamity that be said to them, maybe it's been
- 1:41Speaker 2: grief something, but it ties so many people up. It's
- 1:47Speaker 2: been so worth it to me. It is, man, It's
- 1:53Speaker 2: it's been worth having someone to go to when no
- 1:59Speaker 2: one else else. What's there?
- 2:02Speaker 1: Do you understand what I'm saying it has.
- 2:06Speaker 2: It has given me a place to go when no
- 2:11Speaker 2: one else has been there. Oh hey man, we pulling
- 2:16Speaker 2: for you. Hey man, hanging there, Hey man, keep your
- 2:19Speaker 2: head up all of that. But I gotta tell you, man,
- 2:25Speaker 2: you get yourself in some circumstances and situations in this
- 2:28Speaker 2: thing called life, when no one can help you but God,
- 2:33Speaker 2: When the only person that could possibly understand or know
- 2:36Speaker 2: what you're feeling is God. The only person that'll sit
- 2:41Speaker 2: there with you through it all and understand everything about
- 2:45Speaker 2: it has been God. It's been worth it to me, man,
- 2:50Speaker 2: It's it's been worth it to me. It's been the
- 2:56Speaker 2: biggest improvement in my life. I mean, man, as I
- 3:01Speaker 2: look back over my life, and forming a strong bond
- 3:05Speaker 2: with God has been the most beneficial thing to me.
- 3:11Speaker 2: You know, these things you read in your in your
- 3:14Speaker 2: in in writings in the Bible or or whatever you're reading.
- 3:19Speaker 1: You know, when you when you read scriptures and things
- 3:21Speaker 1: of that nature.
- 3:22Speaker 2: It it's it's been around a long time.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It holds so much truth to it.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I mean, man, it's like, how could this have been
- 3:34Speaker 2: written so long ago and still pertained directly to today?
- 3:42Speaker 2: I mean that that's amazing. That is amazing to me. That,
- 3:47Speaker 2: I mean, that has to be God at work to
- 3:50Speaker 2: have written something so complete, so dead on point that
- 3:58Speaker 2: if you read it today day, it means exactly what
- 4:04Speaker 2: pertains to today. That's amazing, man. That's why my spiritual
- 4:13Speaker 2: walk it's just worth it to me. And I keep
- 4:16Speaker 2: saying it's worth it, because if you're sitting out there
- 4:19Speaker 2: and you tripping like I was tripping, deciding, nah, let.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Me do it.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I got a few more things I want to do,
- 4:25Speaker 2: couple more girls I want to holler at, a couple
- 4:27Speaker 2: more things I want to get into. I got a
- 4:29Speaker 2: cup more deals I want to do. I got a
- 4:31Speaker 2: little bit more dirt. I want to roll up on
- 4:33Speaker 2: me a little bit.
- 4:33Speaker 1: First.
- 4:34Speaker 2: For a while, man, I wish I had known. I
- 4:37Speaker 2: really wish I had understood exactly what forming a relationship
- 4:42Speaker 2: with God would do for me. It's been at worth
- 4:46Speaker 2: every person who out there who hate know me, that
- 4:50Speaker 2: don't even know me. It's because I have a relationship
- 4:54Speaker 2: with Him that I'm fine with that. I don't care
- 4:58Speaker 2: for it, but it ain't gonna stop me though, See,
- 5:02Speaker 2: because I know for a fact that haters make you greater.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I know for a fact that haters validate your mere existence.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I know for a.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Fact that half of them is out of envy and
- 5:18Speaker 2: jealousy because of something you're doing that they wish they
- 5:22Speaker 2: could do or they won't credit for, so they just
- 5:26Speaker 2: now I ain't anything all that bam, and now you
- 5:29Speaker 2: just all over the place with people. Man, I'm so
- 5:32Speaker 2: grateful for this relationship that it has not allowed outside
- 5:37Speaker 2: influences that do not have my best interest at heart
- 5:42Speaker 2: to throw me off.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Course.
- 5:45Speaker 2: It has just been worth it. And if you're sitting
- 5:47Speaker 2: out there and you're wondering about the benefits of it,
- 5:52Speaker 2: I can't even tell you what it's like to know
- 5:56Speaker 2: that when bad things are happening to me, the calming
- 5:59Speaker 2: peace that I feel that I know that that's gonna
- 6:03Speaker 2: be alright too, That I know that this too shall pass.
- 6:08Speaker 2: That I know in my heart of hearts, man, that
- 6:11Speaker 2: there's got to be a reason for this, And if
- 6:14Speaker 2: I can just hang on in there, he gonna unfold
- 6:17Speaker 2: that from me and he gonna let me see it.
- 6:19Speaker 2: But the number one thing I always know is I'm
- 6:22Speaker 2: gonna survive this one too, That this too shall pass.
- 6:25Speaker 2: It has been worth it to me, man, to have
- 6:29Speaker 2: this thing called faith, which is the belief in things
- 6:32Speaker 2: that you cannot see, and to know man along the
- 6:35Speaker 2: way that, oh, my goodness, man, even though I don't
- 6:39Speaker 2: know what's next, or even I'm not really sure about
- 6:43Speaker 2: the next step, I do know for a fact that
- 6:46Speaker 2: some moa is coming. I do know for a fact.
- 6:50Speaker 2: It is a fact that God will take care of me.
- 6:54Speaker 2: It is a fact that He will never ever leave
- 6:58Speaker 2: me or desert me. If I just stay here where
- 7:01Speaker 2: I'm supposed to be. He's coming, The Calvary's coming over
- 7:05Speaker 2: the hill. He coming over the hill, and when he
- 7:07Speaker 2: come over that hill, he gonna wipe out all this
- 7:10Speaker 2: mess down here that that's trying to hurt me. That
- 7:13Speaker 2: I don't have to worry about my enemies anymore, that
- 7:17Speaker 2: my enemies that are all around you can surround me.
- 7:22Speaker 2: You can shoot all the arrows you want. Now. It's
- 7:25Speaker 2: not to say that none of them ain't gonna come close.
- 7:28Speaker 2: And I ain't gonna say that, you know, I ain't
- 7:31Speaker 2: gonna be a little under some pressure, a little nervous
- 7:33Speaker 2: about being shot at so hard. But at the end
- 7:36Speaker 2: of the day, I know this for show, ain't none
- 7:38Speaker 2: of them gonna stick in me. You can shoot them,
- 7:41Speaker 2: but ain't none of them gonna stick in me. No
- 7:44Speaker 2: matter what you do, no weapon formed against me, nothing
- 7:51Speaker 2: you can't.
- 7:52Speaker 1: You can't do nothing with me. Man, I'm so cool.
