Chris Brown gets suspended sentence for London club bottle attack
R&B artist Chris Brown has been given an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, after attacking a man with a tequila bottle at a London club. The 37-year-old admitted affray earlier this year over the February 2023 incident involving former friend Abraham Diaw at the Tape private members’ club in Mayfair. On Monday at Southwark Crown Court, Brown’s vocal coach, Omololu Akinlolu, 40, was given a four-month prison sentence, also suspended for 12 months. Both men were ordered to pay £1,500 in costs.
