• 0:26
Speaker 1: been paying attention as of now, there are a handful
• 0:30
Speaker 1: of leaks that have made their way onto the interwebs.
• 0:36
Speaker 1: And remember the official schedule release is tonight at seven
• 0:39
Speaker 1: o'clock Central. Here on Thursday night at seven o'clock Central,
• 0:42
Speaker 1: so we will know when these things are official at
• 0:45
Speaker 1: that point. As of right now, it is not official
• 0:49
Speaker 1: until the schedule release comes out. But at louisianasports dot net,
• 0:53
Speaker 1: if you go to the homepage, we have the schedule
• 0:57
Speaker 1: leak tracker up, so if you want to you want
• 1:00
Speaker 1: a sort of consolidated place where all of the schedule
• 1:03
Speaker 1: leaks are being tracked, right there at the top of
• 1:05
Speaker 1: our homepage. Free at Louisiana sports Doudnet never any paywalls
• 1:09
Speaker 1: or anything like that. Let's run through very quickly what
• 1:13
Speaker 1: has been leaked so far. Well, the one that's official,
• 1:18
Speaker 1: that is official from the NFL is Saint Steeler's Week
• 1:22
Speaker 1: seven that's Sunday, October twenty fifth in Paris. It's the
• 1:24
Speaker 1: one that we knew that yesterday. We knew the Saints
• 1:26
Speaker 1: we're going to play in Paris a day ago. They
• 1:28
Speaker 1: announced Saint Steeler's on October twenty fifth, So that is
• 1:31
Speaker 1: that we know. Week one, the Saints are reportedly opening
• 1:36
Speaker 1: against the Detroit Lions in Detroit. Nick Underhill was the
• 1:41
Speaker 1: first to have that earlier. Today, there was another report
• 1:44
Speaker 1: that the Saints are expected to open Week two at
• 1:48
Speaker 1: the Baltimore Ravens. So no rest for the weary at
• 1:52
Speaker 1: Detroit at Baltimore first two weeks at least, that's what's
• 1:56
Speaker 1: being reported right now. Week three, the Saints come home
• 2:00
Speaker 1: against the Raiders. Now that's going to be an interesting
• 2:02
Speaker 1: one obviously because of the Fernando Mendoza, a rookie quarterback component. However,
• 2:08
Speaker 1: that could very well be Kirk Cousins starting if they
• 2:11
Speaker 1: don't want to throw Mendoza into the deep end. From jump.
• 2:14
  Speaker 1: So there's a chance you're playing a guy that was
• 2:17
Speaker 1: starting to get the Falcons in Week eighteen a year ago,
• 2:20
Speaker 1: or maybe it's Fernando Mendoza in Week three. So at
• 2:24
Speaker 1: Lions at Ravens home opener Week three against the Raiders.
• 2:28
Speaker 1: We do not yet know the Week four opponent. Week
• 2:31
Speaker 1: five at home against the Minnesota Vikings, and then you're
• 2:36
Speaker 1: at New York the Giants week six. That's relevant because
• 2:40
Speaker 1: Week seven is the game against Pittsburgh in Paris. Remember
• 2:44
Speaker 1: one thing that we had heard reported a day ago
• 2:48
Speaker 1: was that the Saints were interested in having a Thursday
• 2:50
Speaker 1: night game week six, So that way they play Thursday
• 2:54
Speaker 1: before heading to Paris. That would give you effectively an
• 2:57
Speaker 1: extra three days to to prepare and get overseas jet lag,
• 3:03
Speaker 1: all that sort of stuff, get acclimated to play that
• 3:05
Speaker 1: Week seven game against Pittsburgh in Paris. So the Saints
• 3:09
Speaker 1: are not going to get that Thursday game, at least
• 3:11
Speaker 1: of the Peers, so with a noon Central kickoff. But
• 3:16
Speaker 1: remember what that does is it puts New Orleans closer
• 3:20
Speaker 1: to Paris. Right, you could play the Giants in New
• 3:23
Speaker 1: York and then go straight from New York to Paris.
• 3:26
Speaker 1: So instead of coming back home and then flying to Paris,
• 3:30
Speaker 1: you would effectively, I would assume that's what they'll do,
• 3:32
Speaker 1: is they'll just go straight from their game against the
• 3:35
Speaker 1: Giants overseas to Paris. So then week seven against Pittsburgh.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: We do not yet have any reports for weeks eight
• 3:41
Speaker 1: or nine. The other games that have been leaked so far.
• 3:45
Speaker 1: Panthers Week ten, so there's a divisional game at the
• 3:48
Speaker 1: Bears week eleven, so you're talking about November. The twenty seconds.
• 3:53
Speaker 1: That's a late November game on the road in Chicago,
• 3:57
Speaker 1: followed by a game in week twelve at the Bengals.
• 4:00
Speaker 1: So you go at Chicago at Cincinnati in late November.
• 4:03
Speaker 1: Those have the potential to be weather games. It's one
• 4:07
Speaker 1: of the things that we always kind of keep an
• 4:08
Speaker 1: eye on, is you know where the late that you look,
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: you're a you're a dome team from the South, going
• 4:14
Speaker 1: to Chicago or Cincinnati later in the season, there's always
• 4:18
Speaker 1: the possibility that you're gonna have bad weather. It's better
• 4:21
Speaker 1: playing it in late November than in late December, but
• 4:26
Speaker 1: still the possibility that being bad weather. Uh. Week fourteen
• 4:30
Speaker 1: at Carolina is another one that's out there and then
• 4:33
Speaker 1: Week sixteen at home against Arizona. So those are the
• 4:37
Speaker 1: leaks that we have right now that have been that
• 4:40
Speaker 1: have been reported. Still waiting on roughly half the schedule,
• 4:44
Speaker 1: the preseason games all that stuff. But that's see. It's
• 4:46
Speaker 1: three six nine till eleven, so eleven of the seventeen
• 4:51
Speaker 1: games have been up have been leaked. And what we
• 4:54
Speaker 1: don't see here yet is a primetime game, and we
• 4:59
Speaker 1: are assuming that the Saints will be in primetime. Nick
• 5:02
Speaker 1: Underhill over at New orleansw Football report of that earlier today.
• 5:04
Speaker 1: The Saints are expected to land a few primetime dates
• 5:08
Speaker 1: on on this schedule, so that'll that'll be interesting. And
• 5:13
Speaker 1: then obviously you're looking at at how your schedule is
• 5:16
Speaker 1: going to finish. There usually it's with divisional games. We
• 5:18
Speaker 1: do not see any of the games against Tampa or
• 5:22
Speaker 1: the Falcons league, just the two games against Carolina, Week
• 5:25
Speaker 1: ten at home against the Panthers and then Week fourteen
• 5:28
Speaker 1: at Carolina December thirteenth. That certainly has the potential to
• 5:31
Speaker 1: be a weather game in Charlotte as well. Not frigid,
• 5:35
Speaker 1: but could be could be cold in Charlotte in December.
• 5:37
Speaker 1: All right, it's after further of you. We're brought to

• 5:49
Speaker 1: graduation is upon us. A lot of graduates at a
• 5:53
Speaker 1: lot of young people will be crossing the stage tomorrow
• 5:56
Speaker 1: and this weekend. If you're thinking of buying a vehicle
• 5:59
Speaker 1: for that graduate, the high school graduate going off to college,
• 6:02
Speaker 1: or the college graduate starting you know, the next phase
• 6:05
Speaker 1: of life, how about you pop on into south Point

• 6:40
Speaker 1: what's your direction. While the games are not official yet,
• 6:44
Speaker 1: so the sports books do not have the the the
• 6:51
Speaker 1: the US sports books do not yet have lines that
• 6:54
Speaker 1: are open to be wagered upon for any of these games.
• 6:58
Speaker 1: Because the week the entire Week one slate has been
• 7:01
Speaker 1: leaked bet Online, which is an offshore book. They have
• 7:05
Speaker 1: listed spreads for the entire week one slate and the
• 7:10
Speaker 1: Saints at the Lions week one. They have the Saints
• 7:14
Speaker 1: as a six and a half point underdog at Detroit
• 7:19
Speaker 1: in week one, So a really challenging start to the
• 7:23
Speaker 1: season for New Orleans going on the road to Detroit
• 7:26
Speaker 1: week one, and then the other leak week two is
• 7:29
Speaker 1: at Baltimore. We could do all the things when you
• 7:31
Speaker 1: look at the percentages of teams that start, you know,
• 7:33
Speaker 1: zero to two, and how many make the playoffs, how
• 7:35
Speaker 1: you bounce back, whatever, But the counter to that is,
• 7:38
Speaker 1: remember a couple of years ago, two years ago when
• 7:40
Speaker 1: the Saints beat Carolina and Dallas blew the doors off
• 7:43
Speaker 1: of the first two weeks and then just absolutely face
• 7:45
Speaker 1: planted and DA didn't make it through the season. So
• 7:48
Speaker 1: tough tough start for New Orleans. The opener, by the way,
• 7:55
Speaker 1: is going to be on Wednesday, not Thursday. The NFL
• 7:58
Speaker 1: opener is going to be Wednesday with the Patriots at
• 8:01
Speaker 1: the Seahawks, so that's going to be a rematch of
• 8:05
Speaker 1: the Super Bowl Pats at Seahawks Seahawks four point favorite.
• 8:09
Speaker 1: On Wednesday September, the ninth Thursday Niners at Rams, we
• 8:13
Speaker 1: know that's the game in Melbourne, Australia, and then the
• 8:16
Speaker 1: full slate Sunday. So again, all those Week one lines
• 8:19
Speaker 1: are up at Louisiana Sports dot Net as well if
• 8:21
Speaker 1: you want to check them out, always free over at
