- 0:13as auctions, private sales, and trends in the collector market.
- 0:37Hello everyone!
- 0:39Welcome back to the Ferrari Marketplace presented by the
- 0:41Motoring Podcast Network, MPN.
- 0:43Be sure you check out the web channel, motoringpodcast.
- 0:48net.
- 0:48I am your host, William Ross.
- 0:50And I am coming to you from my newly set up office in my house.
- 0:56So, uh, I got off my lazy ass and finally did what I wanted to do.
- 0:59For a long time and move myself out from my basically dining room area up to
- 1:05one of our spare bedrooms That was just basically collecting all my clothes So
- 1:10anyway, it's Ferrari Friday, and we are here this week to talk about Cavalino 2020
- 1:18West Palm Beach, those of you not all that too familiar with Cavalino, uh, they've
- 1:23been having this event for a while.
- 1:25Uh, if you never heard of Cavalino, the magazine, if you're a Ferrari person,
- 1:29I'm sure you have, but if you're not very much Ferrari person, I highly recommend
- 1:33checking out the Cavalino magazine.
- 1:34Fantastic magazine.
- 1:36Uh, it's a quarterly magazine, not cheap, but it's an excellent publication.
- 1:42Very, very well put together.
- 1:44Now Canoosa events took over three years ago.
- 1:47I think it was something like that Uh, the start of handlers and they start
- 1:50actually expanding they do an event in the Middle East I think they're
- 1:53getting ready to do one in Asia.
- 1:54They might be doing Asia.
- 1:55I could be wrong.
- 1:56Don't quote me on that Uh, but they do an excellent job.
- 1:58They, you know, check out Canoosa events.
- 2:00They also do, obviously they do driving events, rally events.
- 2:02So they had to do quite a bit of stuff, uh, around the globe.
- 2:05But I said, Cavalino is a Ferrari specific event that here in the United
- 2:10States is held down in West Palm beach.
- 2:12Uh, it's a beautiful, beautiful, was it hotel?
- 2:15Is it Breaker's hotel?
- 2:16Um, I think it's Breaker's.
- 2:19God, my mind just went blank.
- 2:20You know, I was there two weeks ago.
- 2:22Getting old sucks, you know?
- 2:23Um, but anyways, the hotel.
- 2:26Uh, that is, you know, it's got well, they have it because it's got a golf course.
- 2:29So they have it on the green.
- 2:30But now here's the one thing about this event.
- 2:33It's not massive.
- 2:34It's not big by any means.
- 2:36You probably got maybe 60, 80 cars at best.
- 2:39Um, something along those lines, but what is presented there and what they curate
- 2:44for this event is absolutely phenomenal.
- 2:47I mean, you got some, I mean, the best, I say the best of the best,
- 2:51but I mean, you got some spectacular Ferraris that come to this event.
- 2:55You know, there's, uh, obviously they always have a 250 GTO.
- 2:58Uh, they had some 212 Inters.
- 3:00They've, you know, they had a Testarossa.
- 3:02Um, the TR I'm speaking of, the original ones, uh, of course they
- 3:06did have some of the actual, the Testarossas from the 80s and early 90s.
- 3:10Uh, they had basically, when you walked in, you know, uh, if you're familiar
- 3:15with this hotel at all, it's got this huge, like when you come in off of
- 3:18basically what is it, A1A, whatever it is, that road, it's got that huge
- 3:22drive entrance that you drive up to the hotel, it's all tree lined and
- 3:25everything, it's absolutely gorgeous.
- 3:26Well, and the one area what they have then is, you know, they had, um, I guess
- 3:31you would say the, the, uh, interviewing area, uh, that they had set up there, you
- 3:36know, obviously interviewing yourself and doing video, that kind of stuff, and audio
- 3:39recording that, but they had basically your Testarossa 512 and, uh, 512Ms, your
- 3:46512TRs, and then your Testarossas there, and they had some spectacular cars there,
- 3:51there was a gorgeous one, I'm, I, I, I'm a fan, not a fan of tan interior, but
- 3:55this, I gotta say, this one, It was like a blue, I forget what it's called, blue
- 3:59churro, churro, it's like it's something.
- 4:01Anyways, it was, it was a very, very rare color in regards to,
- 4:06you don't normally see, uh, uh, Tessarosa, a TR, a 512M in this color.
- 4:10Very, very rare.
- 4:12Uh, I'm a big fan.
- 4:14I love the 512TRs and the 512M is a spectacular car.
- 4:18Obviously one year only, uh, for the final iteration basically of the tester.
- 4:24So the five 12 TR was 92 to 94, and then.
- 4:3095, I don't, I think it was only 95, I don't think there was any 96, but I think
- 4:34it was only 95 model year was for the 512TR, I mean 512M, but the 512TR because
- 4:39it was just a great, great evolution of the Testarossa, they, you know, they fixed
- 4:44all the kind of little niggles and wiggles and whatnot with the Testarossa and really
- 4:48refined it up to horsepower, uh, just kind of, you know, smoothed it out a bit,
- 4:53you know, just kind of, you know, I guess they take away the edginess a little bit.
- 4:57Um, now, on the Testarossa side itself, I, you know, I'm a big fan of the early
- 5:02ones with the single mirror, the flying mirror, the monopisto, monopesto, however
- 5:06you pronounce that again in my Italian.
- 5:07I don't speak Italian.
- 5:09Um, but, you know, those things.
- 5:10I love the flying mirror because it's got a cool presence to it.
- 5:13It's got a cool look down the road.
- 5:14But, now, oddly enough, I'm not a fan of the red Ferraris.
- 5:19Uh, you would think me being the Ferrari person, you know, love
- 5:21Ferraris, that I love the red.
- 5:23Well, red's not my favorite color.
- 5:25I don't like tan interiors, so red tan is just, it's on, way down my list.
- 5:30I prefer a darker color.
- 5:32Now, I take red with black interior, that I can tolerate, but if I'm gonna have,
- 5:36you know, my druthers, I'll probably, my first choice is always gonna be black.
- 5:41Um, I think that's just, a car looks spectacular in black.
- 5:45Um, um, um, Obviously, it's a pain in the, you know what, to keep clean.
- 5:50You know, after you wash it, two minutes later, it's dirty.
- 5:52But, I just think a black car presents somewhere, it just looks mean that way.
- 5:56But then, you know, after that, you start using other colors.
- 5:58You know, I, I like a yellow.
- 6:00I think a yellow, the Giallo, uh, is spectacular as well.
- 6:04Uh, don't get me wrong.
- 6:05I think, you know, obviously, that's what they're known for.
- 6:07Being the red, you know, the red car.
- 6:09But, um, To me, I don't know.
- 6:11I just, it's not my favorite color of a car, but anyways, I, I wouldn't turn one
- 6:15away, but anyways, getting back to the event, like I was saying is, you know,
- 6:19when you came in, you had the one, um, you know, you walked down the entrance way.
- 6:24Uh, I can say security is pretty tight.
- 6:26So, and it was pretty spectacular watching what cars came in.
- 6:30Cause now, even before you got in to go into the event itself,
- 6:34get your little, uh, Wristband or whatever you want to call it.
- 6:37Now they have those little nylon things that just kind of slide up.
- 6:39And so instead of having the plastic stuff, which is great, you know, Hey,
- 6:42it's better for the environment, I guess.
- 6:43Um, maybe people more inclined to keep it cause it's got the name on it.
- 6:47Uh, it says Cavalino, but, um, anyways, they have different levels
- 6:51and everything for you to get in.
- 6:53And it's not cheap to get into this event.
- 6:55I will say that and by no means am I bragging or anything like that, but I just
- 6:59say they charge a lot of money because you just said it's not a massive event.
- 7:04It says they don't get all that many cars, so to speak, where you got,
- 7:07you know, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of cars and you got thousands
- 7:10and thousands, thousands of people.
- 7:12It's very nice because it's not crammed.
- 7:15You don't have like people on top of people, like say you're an Amelia
- 7:18or something along those lines, uh, or out of pebble, you know,
- 7:22it's, Oh, it's very, very well managed in regards to crowd control.
- 7:27I guess you'll speak now.
- 7:28I'm not saying that they, I'm sure they have a limit to regards to, Hey.
- 7:32Uh, ticket wise, I know like with the upper echelon, if you look at their
- 7:34website in regards to what it costs, like for packages and whatnot, it ain't cheap.
- 7:38Like I said, Saturday alone, just take it, go on Saturdays, 480.
- 7:43If you want to just go on Sunday, which is the concourse day is 680.
- 7:47So I don't see, you know, I always just go on Saturday.
- 7:50I don't ever go on Sunday cause I just don't see the point.
- 7:52Cause it's pretty much all the same cars.
- 7:54So I'm like, why would I come back the next day to see what
- 7:57I just saw the day before?
- 7:58So, you know, um, now, unless I was able to score media credentials for this event,
- 8:04which I was not able to, I guess I'm just not, you know, I don't have that type of
- 8:08pull yet, but hopefully we'll get there someday and maybe we'll go to both days.
- 8:11But right now, if it's coming out of my pocket, I'm only
- 8:13gonna go one day on Saturday.
- 8:14But anyways, even for going in though, I have to say the parking lot.
- 8:19itself was amazing in regards to cars that people brought there
- 8:23just to drive there to the event.
- 8:25Now parking is very limited because obviously this is a
- 8:28operating functioning hotel.
- 8:30So obviously they have hotel guests and everything going on.
- 8:33So then all of a sudden you have this event on top of it.
- 8:34So parking got kind of limited and parking.
- 8:38If you wanted to park a little bit of ways, it was 40, but if you wanted
- 8:43to park in the hotel, it was 50.
- 8:47And that was if you were able to get in and they were pretty picky
- 8:49about what kind of cars are going in and I said They were turning some
- 8:52way, but I must say Spectacular what cars were in the parking lot itself?
- 8:57I mean just a lineup of some spectacular pieces of machinery
- 9:00Ferraris, but I will say John Tamari from curated We are curated.
- 9:05He brought a Diablo GT that they had just got over from Japan
- 9:09Black on black stunning car.
- 9:12They actually have two available They're probably already sold more than likely
- 9:14but I will say that guys are curated are able to acquire and hunt down
- 9:19and get their hands on some of the Awesome machinery most specifically
- 9:23Lamborghinis now they get in a lot of other stuff as well But Lamborghinis
- 9:26seem to be the forte, you know people hunt them down But hey, they got it and
- 9:31check out the showroom if you're ever down in Miami They're super nice guys.
- 9:34Go check them out.
- 9:35But anyways, the parking lot itself was spectacular.
- 9:37I mean you had, you know, obviously you got SF90s, F8s You had Carrera
- 9:43GT You know, there's a 918 YSAC, obviously, you know, not Ferrari,
- 9:48but you know, some other spectacular stuff There's a Challenge for Dali
- 9:53Obviously have your Token, you know, Rolls Royces and that kind of stuff.
- 9:57But, you know, cause it's just old money down there in West Palm Beach.
- 10:00Um, if you've never been down that way, it's just, I've seen.
- 10:04Some of these houses, um, and just the amount of money that
- 10:07some of these people have.
- 10:08It's just, it's just obscene, you know, um, It just makes you wonder,
- 10:12where's all this money come from?
- 10:13I mean, it's just, makes you think you're not trying hard
- 10:16enough or something for that.
- 10:16But anyways, so, getting into the event.
- 10:19Obviously, I have kind of different levels of, you know,
- 10:22uh, spectator wise, what not.
- 10:24Like I said, I just bought the cheap one, the 480.
- 10:26You go up from there.
- 10:27But anyways, so when you go in, Yeah, there's, they have a
- 10:30upper level, uh, where they have the really, really nice stuff.
- 10:35Uh, that's where they had a 250 Inter, they had a P4, um, that was spectacular.
- 10:42Uh, yellow, it had the blue wheels on it, um, spectacular.
- 10:47Uh, I don't know if any of you guys listening, go and check out the
- 10:50YouTube channel, um, we have that up.
- 10:52I dropped video there.
- 10:53I had several stuff, long ones, short ones, kind of going over everything.
- 10:57Got the long one going to walk around the whole show field over there, but then
- 11:00also kind of got stuff them unloading, but anyways Say 212 enter they have 250 SWB.
- 11:08They had a SWB go Cal spider that LWB Cal spider It was kind of neat seeing
- 11:13those two next to each other because you can see the nuances of the difference
- 11:16between a short wheel Base and a long wheel base now everyone knows everyone
- 11:20Maybe they don't know, but obviously the covered headlight short wheelbase
- 11:24is the most coveted of the cow spiders.
- 11:26So those ones are in the upper teens, low twenties in regards to price,
- 11:31whereas the long wheelbase, you're going to be high single digits, low
- 11:36double digits and millions of dollars.
- 11:37So, you know, um, if you look between two, obviously it's all about collectability
- 11:41and, you know, production numbers.
- 11:43So me, I long wheelbase short wheelbase doesn't matter.
- 11:46I would take you to the one, but absolutely spectacular cars.
- 11:50Um, Trying to you know said but check out the YouTube channel because I say
- 11:55there's some spectacular stuff that you know You got to see now like I said,
- 11:59I'm on that upper level They also had that art car that h12 competition or
- 12:04competition As they like they call it that was up on the upper left.
- 12:08That was yellows like an art car It was kind of really neat because it
- 12:11wasn't anything too crazy Um, but it was really, really well presented.
- 12:16So, and I was trying to look at it.
- 12:17I'm very sure, I think it is a paint job.
- 12:19I don't think it's a wrap, but I mean, almost kind of the way
- 12:21the matte paint looked like it was almost like it was a wrap.
- 12:23But, uh, it was kind of cool to see that, but then, like I
- 12:26said, you know, um, up there is a little more crowded, I would say.
- 12:30So it was a little bit difficult here and there to try and get some shots of stuff,
- 12:33but just, you know, you bide your time.
- 12:35Like I said, you know, people are pretty courteous, uh, wandering around and
- 12:38kind of, you know, notice that you guys, you're shooting video and trying to
- 12:40check things out and take photos, uh, because what I had done is I got there
- 12:44first thing, uh, try to beat some of the crowds, uh, did what I did and I actually
- 12:49left for a little bit and I came back.
- 12:51Um, feet and back are hurting.
- 12:53There's a lot of walking.
- 12:54I actually was able to park a little ways away, so I had to do a little bit of a
- 12:57hike to get over to the event, but hey, I didn't have to pay 40 or 50 to park.
- 13:01So, anyways, like I said, up top, they just, they have an absolute
- 13:06awesome selection of cars.
- 13:08I mean, high end stuff.
- 13:10I mean, you're talking multi million dollar stuff.
- 13:13Uh, and these guys, you know, obviously are getting judged, so, you know, what
- 13:16was really neat to see, and this is on all the cars that are there at the event,
- 13:20is, like, having all the accoutrements that I guess come with the car.
- 13:23Tool rolls.
- 13:25All that kind of stuff.
- 13:25Documentation, your Class E certification, Red Book.
- 13:29Uh, it's really neat seeing all that kind of stuff.
- 13:31Um, the one, I guess, the one thing I like to see though is
- 13:35the owner actually doing it.
- 13:37Now the one thing you'll find when you go to a lot of these events is
- 13:40you're going to have someone from either a handler or someone from a
- 13:44dealership, someone along those lines.
- 13:46Someone that, you know, obviously helps them buy and sell cars,
- 13:48what have you, these owners.
- 13:50Um, I don't know, someone they don't want to deal with it or what have you.
- 13:53I mean, they might not even be there.
- 13:55But, uh, it's really cool to see owners actually talking with the judges, going
- 14:02over everything with the judges, and them actually knowing about their car.
- 14:07You know, it was, um, I saw a couple, I'm not going to name names, but
- 14:11you can tell, I don't know if they, maybe they just bought the car.
- 14:14Um, but they must not have really done much homework, but obviously.
- 14:19They were being kind of coached a bit saying, okay, when they come up,
- 14:22this is what they're going to ask.
- 14:23And then, you know, it's like maybe it was their first time.
- 14:25I don't know, but, um, it's a little disappointing when you see an owner
- 14:29that really doesn't know their car, I guess you could say, like I said,
- 14:32give them the benefit of the doubt.
- 14:34Maybe they just got the car.
- 14:36Who knows but you know some of these people seem like it's more about hey,
- 14:40it's a status thing Oh, yeah, I own a Ferrari instead of actually it's about
- 14:43the passion of the brand and the car And just loving this thing You know, I get
- 14:48it, you know, you get quite a few of these guys have you know, multiple cars If not
- 14:52hundreds of cars, you know, but I know a few that are absolutely very passionate
- 14:56They know their cars inside and out.
- 14:59They just they know their stuff very very well Um, but you know, it's
- 15:03just, it's great to see when an owner actually is handling the judges and
- 15:09actually talking with the judges and know their cars and going, going over
- 15:12everything with them because they scrutinize the hell out of these cars.
- 15:16I mean, it could, you know, turn signals, start in the car, the right
- 15:19light bulbs, they check under the hood in regards to even like hose clamps.
- 15:23I mean, they get down to the nitty gritty in regards to what they're actually,
- 15:26you know, looking for and judging, you know, and obviously, you know, they're
- 15:30trying to get that coveted, you know, you want to get 96 points or above, um,
- 15:35you know, and get it and win the prize.
- 15:37So, um, you know, that's what they're looking for.
- 15:39Uh, and, you know, you got these guys that are very, very dedicated
- 15:42in regards to wanting to get that.
- 15:44Because one, It's an actual selling point for the car if
- 15:47you can say it won at Cavalino.
- 15:49It got this at Cavalino or what have you.
- 15:51I mean, or hey, anywhere.
- 15:53I mean, you wouldn't like it at Amelia or Pebble Beach or something like that.
- 15:55That's massive.
- 15:56But you know, you get something at Cavalino and get judged and
- 15:59you get a, you know, a high score.
- 16:01That bodes well for you if you want to go and resell your car at that point in time.
- 16:05And I can say, you know, you might get quite a few of
- 16:07these guys, that's their goal.
- 16:08Is they wait, they present it at Cavalino, they get their score,
- 16:12they get it out there in the public, kind of people see it and know it.
- 16:14Alright, hey, it's available, so I want to buy it.
- 16:17Cause they can charge a premium then, because it just won at Cavalino.
- 16:20Take a sip of my Diet Mountain Dew here.
- 16:24Apologize for that sound.
- 16:25And I wet my whistle.
- 16:27But anyways.
- 16:28So going out on to, I guess you would say the regular field, uh, but like I
- 16:32said, on the upper level, I think maybe they had 12 cars, you know, so again,
- 16:37it wasn't like they had all that many up, you know, it wasn't like they said,
- 16:40it's not a massive show, it's not like they got hundreds and hundreds of cars,
- 16:43but like I said, so they had about 12, so if you go down on the lower level,
- 16:45you kind of got to go out and come back around, because it's up on this thing,
- 16:48they got this wall, whatever, but anyways, you You go back around on the lower, we
- 16:51start walking down there and other thing they got, you know, the new four hours.
- 16:54They got a, uh, it's, um, what the dealer was.
- 16:57I can't remember.
- 16:58I don't know if it was, uh, there's something from down in that area.
- 17:00Um, but the Ferrari dealer presented, uh, all the new stuff.
- 17:05They had a Pearl St.
- 17:06Way there.
- 17:06So I got to sit in that.
- 17:07I got to check it out.
- 17:08That thing is awesome.
- 17:09I gotta say, I mean, I was impressed with it when I first seen it, you
- 17:12know, it came out, all the specs, everything that, and I first saw it,
- 17:15uh, I was like, I liked that a lot.
- 17:18Um, But I want to say be able to sit in it and really check it out.
- 17:21It's got a lot of back seat leg room.
- 17:23I think that thing is sweet.
- 17:25I mean I can see why those things are going for basically double to triple of
- 17:30what they actually are to buy at MSRP.
- 17:32Um, it's a great car.
- 17:34And that was all, as we know, with all these things.
- 17:3799.
- 17:379 percent of these people aren't taking these things off road.
- 17:40It ain't an off road vehicle.
- 17:41They're not going off road with these things.
- 17:43Yeah, you're going to have your YouTubers.
- 17:45Yeah, you're going to have your Yutzes that got more money
- 17:47they know what to do with.
- 17:49And just beat the hell out of these things and make them off road.
- 17:51But 99.
- 17:529%.
- 17:53Of these people that buy these things aren't going off road.
- 17:55So look fry knows that You know, so I apologize for that.
- 18:00Um So anyways, this thing is slick I gotta say if you ever get the opportunity
- 18:05to see one in person check it out.
- 18:07It's a cool car So another one that they have was the new s SF90XX.
- 18:13Now as you Ferrari aficionados know, the XX program usually has always
- 18:19been designated for race only cars, race cars, racetrack only cars.
- 18:24Um, and some spectacular ones that it is very limited.
- 18:27And run by Ferrari's clientele program, where it's basically, you know, you're
- 18:31just paying them, you own the car, but they kind of hold on to it, uh, it gets
- 18:35shipped around wherever, racetracks, you just fly into it, you know, and the
- 18:38price of these cars, you know, you're, you're able to, it's not a problem
- 18:42to fly into these places and these venues that they have these events at.
- 18:46So.
- 18:48But, this SF90XX is the first actual road legal XX that
- 18:54they're actually putting out.
- 18:55And, I I, I want to say, I can't remember what the actual production is.
- 18:59I know they're not doing too many of them.
- 19:01I mean they're doing more than normal.
- 19:03I will say because it's street legal.
- 19:05Um, but you know, obviously you're not talking thousands and thousands.
- 19:08They're not doing like to do with SF 90 where, Hey, we're just building them.
- 19:11Um, and have at it, uh, cause like, Hey, the purse hangway, same thing.
- 19:15You know, they're, they're supposedly limiting production.
- 19:17Um, but anyways, I know I can't remember what time I had, but anyways,
- 19:21that thing was spectacular too.
- 19:22I think it looked mean.
- 19:23I mean, I think it really.
- 19:26It really accentuates that car very, very well in regards to, you know, making it
- 19:30more aggressive looking how that thing is going to be on the street though.
- 19:34It's probably gonna beat the shit out of you.
- 19:35You know, uh, that suspension is going to be stiff, everything like that.
- 19:38Cause let's face it.
- 19:39Yeah, you can drive on the street, but it is still, it's a track day
- 19:41car based on what it boils down to.
- 19:43It's a track day car, but I will say it did look cool.
- 19:45That thing was spectacular.
- 19:47So that was cool to see that.
- 19:48So then as you walk down on to more of the show, feel the main show field, You
- 19:52know, you started, it kind of went age wise in regards to going, so when you
- 19:56started at the beginning part, it started basically in your early stuff, into
- 19:59your 50s, then you got into your 60s.
- 20:01So, basically, but to start out with what I thought was spectacular, you
- 20:05started getting into was the 275 GTBs.
- 20:08Um, there was actually, I think it's one of the three, uh,
- 20:11aluminum competition 275 GTB4s.
- 20:14Oh, God, that thing was gorgeous.
- 20:15Um, just stripped out, I mean, and the cool thing is, obviously when
- 20:19they're judging, a lot of these times, you know, they got to start the car.
- 20:22So that was really cool to see that.
- 20:24I'll say if you check out some other videos when they're unloading,
- 20:26I got some of these cars like driving everything as well.
- 20:28But, uh, anyways, a lot of 275 GTB four cams that were there.
- 20:33That's one of my favorite cars.
- 20:34I mean, I think spectacular.
- 20:36Um, it's just, it's a gorgeous car.
- 20:39Great to drive.
- 20:40I mean, it's just, it's a great, great car.
- 20:42Uh, so then it says you kind of worked your way down and started to said.
- 20:46As you go down, the age of the cars start getting newer and newer.
- 20:49Uh, you get into it, obviously you had the 288 GTOs there, which again is probably
- 20:53one of my favorite Ferraris as well.
- 20:55Uh, then you got into your F40s, you had plenty of F40s
- 20:57there, plenty of F50s there.
- 20:59So it was really neat seeing those.
- 21:01And it's kind of neat seeing, especially, um, between F40s and F50s, because
- 21:06those are old enough, obviously, that you can import European models
- 21:10and bring those in as compared to U.
- 21:11S.
- 21:12A.
- 21:13specific, uh, built models bringing in.
- 21:17So it's kind of neat to see them next to each other.
- 21:19Cause you can see the little differences between the two from what the European
- 21:22regulations allow and what us regulations allow regard like side marker,
- 21:25lights, bumpers, that kind of stuff.
- 21:27Um, you know, it was unfortunate cause some of the things the USA market
- 21:31made you do in regards to make these things, uh, real legal, uh, kind
- 21:34of ugly fight them, but you know, it's not too bad, but the one thing
- 21:38like, especially with that forties.
- 21:39which was very nice.
- 21:40Not so much F 50.
- 21:41I mean, yeah, a couple of things they had to tack on there, side marker
- 21:44lights and that, but, uh, great thing about an F 50, a USA one, which why
- 21:50they're really coveted of the 213 out of the 1, 348 that were built.
- 21:54213 of them were US specific.
- 21:57Is the U.
- 21:58S.
- 21:58models did not have to have, or I'm sorry, had to have an aluminum gas tank, whereas
- 22:03the European ones, it was just a bladder.
- 22:05Uh, which the bladder has to be replaced every five years, no matter what.
- 22:10It's, it doesn't matter mileage, what not, it's just a, it's a time thing.
- 22:13Uh, same kind of thing with those cars though is, you know, every five years
- 22:16you gotta have your major service.
- 22:19On those things, belts, whatnot.
- 22:20It's just one of those things because the car, you know,
- 22:22you're driving it, what have you.
- 22:23Um, and it ain't cheap, but you know, it's kind of, but again,
- 22:27it's kinda neat see in that.
- 22:27So, um, that's why those USA ones that were covered, it just kind of the
- 22:31one only 213 out of the 1348 built.
- 22:34Um, but anyways, so as I said, you got down going to that fifties,
- 22:38then you got into your newer stuff, uh, got into some more Testa Rosas,
- 22:43um, you know, you got into, you know, just there's some cool Dinos.
- 22:46I like that.
- 22:47So I highly recommend it.
- 22:48Check out the video.
- 22:49Walk around with it.
- 22:50But, again, you know, it's a great event.
- 22:52Now, if you're a Ferrari aficionado, again, it's a steep price to get in.
- 22:56And again, you know, staying around that area is not cheap.
- 22:59I was lucky.
- 23:00I scored a beach, a beach, I scored a Verbo down in Lake Worth Beach,
- 23:05which was probably, it was about 15 minutes, 10, 15 minutes because of,
- 23:08and it's not because of distance, it was just because all the roads driving
- 23:11up to there, unless you drive up to 95, took 95 up and got back off, which
- 23:16almost seems to take the same amount of time, uh, just because of traffic.
- 23:19Um.
- 23:20It was great.
- 23:20Yo, I think it was for I was there from Thursday to Sunday, and I will
- 23:26say it was, I think it was this about 500 bucks, but it's cool little thing.
- 23:30Lake Worth Beach is really cool.
- 23:31So if you ever that area, check out Lake Worth Beach.
- 23:33Uh, it's a neat little area.
- 23:35Uh, but anyways.
- 23:37Check out the video online.
- 23:38I said, again, I highly recommend checking out Cavalino yourself.
- 23:42Uh, if you have the opportunity and you want to, you know, spurge a
- 23:44little bit, because it's a lot of fun.
- 23:46You guys see some great, great stuff.
- 23:47And the other cool thing is they do not like say fence off, uh,
- 23:53or put the velvet ropes around.
- 23:56The cars, so it's like you can get right up on them.
- 23:58You can get there, check them out, you get to see them, you know, stick
- 24:02your head in, take photos, I mean, you really can get in there and take
- 24:05a look at these cars, which is great.
- 24:07Um, so, I highly recommend it.
- 24:09Check out the video.
- 24:11And, uh, let's see here till what happens next Ferrari
- 24:14Friday, uh, working on something.
