- 0:35Speaker 3: Right?
- 0:35Speaker 1: Okay? That hot pot? No, no hot pot yesterday? But
- 0:40Speaker 1: I paid the price yesterday. I won't get into the details.

- 0:58Speaker 1: saying the keysy moogi because we into each other coming
- 1:01Speaker 1: in today. You know what's going to happen, of course,
- 1:04Speaker 1: is that our body is going to fully adjust by
- 1:06Speaker 1: the end of the week to this time frame, and
- 1:09Speaker 1: all of next week we're going to be fucked because
- 1:11Speaker 1: we'll be waking up because our bodiesn't go. Oh that's right,
- 1:14Speaker 1: We're doing breakfast boing, wake up at four, and that'll
- 1:18Speaker 1: be us all next week I wake up for anyway,
- 1:20Speaker 1: are you really? Yes? Sometimes I think every day.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yes, earlier, earlier, and then I just go back to
- 1:26Speaker 3: sleep if I can, Yeah I can't.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Then I get up and I do a little bit
- 1:30Speaker 1: of work, A little bit of work. Wanted to say,
- 1:32Speaker 1: funk all there. I woke up a quarter to four
- 1:39Speaker 1: this morning and the alarm I woke up at twenty four.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I woke up a quarter past right, and so I
- 1:46Speaker 1: went out into the lounge and I was at four. Ye. No,
- 1:51Speaker 1: I didn't know jacket on it. But you turned your
- 1:53Speaker 1: lac off, yeah, because I didn't want it to go
- 1:57Speaker 1: off and wake my wife. So it hadn't gone up,
- 1:59Speaker 1: and hadn't because I'd said it for four thirty or something.
- 2:03Speaker 1: But anyways, I'm just in the lounge there, just you know,
- 2:05Speaker 1: flicking through the YouTube and all the political dramas, and
- 2:09Speaker 1: then I hear this bing bing bing bing bing, and
- 2:12Speaker 1: I was like, what the fuck is that? And it's
- 2:16Speaker 1: some dude walking down the street ringing a cowbell chest
- 2:21Speaker 1: banging on this cow bell all the way down the street.
- 2:24Speaker 1: And I was like, good on you man, Fuck why not?
- 2:27Speaker 1: I mean, it's only you know, teen to four in
- 2:29Speaker 1: the morning.
- 2:30Speaker 3: It's just made me think that maybe we could do
- 2:31Speaker 3: a segment on the show where we play our alarm
- 2:35Speaker 3: What is your alarm like? Because I was just thinking
- 2:37Speaker 3: this morning when mine went off, I was like, should
- 2:38Speaker 3: I got to change that?
- 2:39Speaker 1: It's brutal? Yeah, what is your alarm like?
- 2:41Speaker 3: But we can we can make we can have a
- 2:43Speaker 3: bit of fun with it if you like, because I
- 2:45Speaker 3: know yours as people having sex?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Is it? Can you play it? What I mean like
- 2:52Speaker 1: vigor of six or.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Just towards the end there, you know, Harry up, kezy.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Y pretty hammer and tongue stuff. Jason, is it actually
- 3:04Speaker 1: you heaven? Yeah?
- 3:05Speaker 2: Yeah, five forty eight in the morning right now, that's
- 3:12Speaker 2: good stuff it. I do actually have a strategy around
- 3:17Speaker 2: my alarm.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Oh you do. It's quite interesting. Alarm chair.
- 3:21Speaker 2: He's arm chat with me, Mogi. Jason's is just audio
- 3:27Speaker 2: of him taking a steamer.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. It's three a days, Ding ding ding feelers.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Come on fux sake.
- 3:37Speaker 2: The Whole Lucky Big Show week days from four on
- 3:41Speaker 2: Radio Hierarchy with the Whole Wracky Big Show podcast.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Be Sam Neil last night, Yeah said very sad news, said.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Neil lovely Man from the few times that I met him,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and just an icon. He's in an acting he he's
- 3:59Speaker 1: had a huge He'd be.
- 4:00Speaker 3: The one, wouldn't he. Yeah, to choose one, and I
- 4:04Speaker 3: think he'd be the one. Yeah, I agree.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Devastatingly good looking too, He's a beautiful looking backing as
- 4:12Speaker 1: right through but amazing actor. Sad news.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I was just watching a reel with Alec Baldwin because
- 4:21Speaker 3: Alec Baldwin did Hunt for Red October with them. Oh yes, yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 3: and he said, oh, you know, I'm just I just
- 4:28Speaker 3: wanted to jump on here and talk. I'm absolutely stricken
- 4:30Speaker 3: about sam Neil. Yes, so I did Hunt for Red
- 4:33Speaker 3: October and eighty eight came out in eighty nine. It
- 4:35Speaker 3: was my first sort of proper meaty roll up until then.
- 4:40Speaker 3: I don't know that beetle juice and other things and
- 4:42Speaker 3: a sort of small roles.
- 4:44Speaker 1: God, it was a great car.
- 4:45Speaker 3: So I just had to write it down against her,
- 4:47Speaker 3: and he reads out all the cars and he sort
- 4:48Speaker 3: of talks. So anyway, it goes on for about four
- 4:50Speaker 3: or five minutes. At no time as he mentioned sam Neil,
- 4:53Speaker 3: except to say that he's sad about it at the start,
- 4:57Speaker 3: and then at the end, after mentioning every other actor
- 5:00Speaker 3: in the film and how great it was working with them,
- 5:03Speaker 3: He then his sam Neil very said for his family,
- 5:10Speaker 3: he doesn't even say that sam Neil was in Hunt
- 5:12Speaker 3: for God Almighty, very honest.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I think you're thinking of Hunt for the Wilder People. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:18Speaker 1: that's right.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Wrong.
- 5:19Speaker 1: One I remember. I remember an interview with Ian Mune
- 5:24Speaker 1: in Muni, who's worked with him a lot, and he
- 5:27Speaker 1: and he was talking about he was saying, I'm sleeping Dogs.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Wasn't Sleeping Dogs classic film? Your wife wouldn't like it? Keasy?
- 5:35Speaker 1: She likes sleeping dogs and does she let them lie
- 5:38Speaker 1: or no? Ian Mune was talking about sam Neil and
- 5:41Speaker 1: he was going, there's a fucking this amazing looking guy,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and his ons going he's not doing anything, He's not
- 5:46Speaker 1: doing anything, and you know, he's just so still, and
- 5:51Speaker 1: I'm just like what you know? And Ian Mune's quite
- 5:53Speaker 1: a big act and he was just going, what the
- 5:55Speaker 1: fuck is this guy about? But he realized that's that
- 6:00Speaker 1: was his genius, was that he was very still as
- 6:02Speaker 1: an actor, very sort of settled, and that was his power.
- 6:07Speaker 1: And he went back and then I realized that I
- 6:08Speaker 1: saw him on screen and went ah ah, yeah, okay,
- 6:13Speaker 1: that's what it is.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Ian Barry Mune, New Zealand character actor, director and screenwriter.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Director What Becomes the Broken Hearted Sleep.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Very controversially, remember, because he was fuming about the reviews
- 6:25Speaker 1: and stuff. Yes, and he had a rent at the
- 6:28Speaker 1: Film Awards about it. Yeah, he was a little bit.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I remember because I used to televise them live back
- 6:38Speaker 3: in the day, and I remember compatriot of Mune and
- 6:42Speaker 3: old d and do you see him, Neil the Bruno
- 6:45Speaker 3: Lawrence And he was absolutely maggot pursed when he got
- 6:51Speaker 3: his award, yes, and my mother was disgusted.
- 6:54Speaker 1: And he well that was not unusual. Smash Palace, Smash.
- 7:00Speaker 1: That was a great movie. That is a great movie.
- 7:02Speaker 1: It says here he died at fifty four. That's young. Yeah. No.
- 7:06Speaker 1: David Lawrence one of Jack Nicholson's favorite actors.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Kesey really and he's a key he was. But he
- 7:16Speaker 3: grew up in six symbol as well. Despite the Yeah
- 7:19Speaker 3: he was, but he was just so virile you can tell.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, And he was a bit of a character
- 7:26Speaker 1: and he loved his pess Bruno did. Yeah. I was
- 7:30Speaker 1: actually told true story when I was doing seven Periods
- 7:34Speaker 1: with mister Gormsby, and it was by not his relative,
- 7:41Speaker 1: but it was sort of a distant relative of Bruno's.
- 7:45Speaker 1: And she was part of the crew on seven Periods
- 7:49Speaker 1: of mister Gornsby. And she said, you remind me of
- 7:51Speaker 1: Bruno because I was really over well I probably was.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Bruno was like my hero.
- 8:00Speaker 3: That might have been very nique. Yeahs a script supervisor. Maybe, yeah,
- 8:05Speaker 3: she's a weapon.
- 8:08Speaker 1: But yeah, really sad, really sad about sam Neil. Also
- 8:11Speaker 1: just on the man. It's a very good painter, really
- 8:14Speaker 1: very good painter I've seen in the houses. No, he
- 8:20Speaker 1: does portraits. He's fucking good. I was like, he puts
- 8:23Speaker 1: them on Facebook every now and then. I'm like, ship,
- 8:25Speaker 1: that's good.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Eu.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Just do a fruit bawl anymore? Come on here?
- 8:31Speaker 3: Yes, really, still life everyone, that's how you learn.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I was going to say, it's your classic art school
- 8:40Speaker 1: sort of first step, the fruit bowl and.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Then why the human form? Why does that become a thing?
- 8:47Speaker 2: The painting nude thing.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Same thing. Yeah, it's just about light and shade and
- 8:51Speaker 1: the same thing, muscularity.
- 8:54Speaker 3: And the amazing thing about it is because my wife's
- 8:56Speaker 3: a painter, and she she's learning more and more. But
- 9:01Speaker 3: what you learn at school and what you get taught
- 9:03Speaker 3: so back and it's over in Europe, especially in here
- 9:07Speaker 3: a little bit, but not as part of the curriculum.
- 9:09Speaker 3: You're actually taught about the physiology of the human body.
- 9:14Speaker 3: So you start you learn the skeleton, then the muscles
- 9:18Speaker 3: go on, so you learn and then fat and so
- 9:21Speaker 3: you learn why the body looks the way it does,
- 9:24Speaker 3: why the face looks the way it does. You know,
- 9:26Speaker 3: all of the layers that are underneath, all the way
- 9:28Speaker 3: down to the skeleton. Is it primary school this as
- 9:30Speaker 3: well with kids over there not Maybe not primary school probably,
- 9:35Speaker 3: well later in primary school maybe, but yeah, it makes
- 9:38Speaker 3: a huge difference to the art.
- 9:40Speaker 2: And because that's why da Vinci was so great, because
- 9:43Speaker 2: he dissected so many cadavers to understand why the human
- 9:47Speaker 2: body looked like it did.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and then made his pan paintings looking more lifelike. Yeah.
- 9:50Speaker 1: I used to do a bit of modeling back in
- 9:52Speaker 1: the day, actually noses.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Yeah, he posed for the Easter Island head when they
- 10:00Speaker 2: were carving those gutty something I got.
- 10:10Speaker 1: It's too early, fucking hell, I'm trying really hard not
- 10:15Speaker 1: to just overgo overboard. On the coffees by the way, Fellers,
- 10:18Speaker 1: I only had one yesterday for the entire show and
- 10:22Speaker 1: morning you should have another one. Well, I had one
- 10:24Speaker 1: when I went and met my wife. They should have
- 10:26Speaker 1: two today. No keysy because it makes me feel nauseous.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Listen to the Big Show for weekdays. Radio Hurduki Okay
