- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with Bea Tilly and Tanya Brad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hell everyone,
- 0:16Speaker 1: we are scrubbing it out of practice.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Well you threw me, you threw me off with your bonjour,
- 0:29Speaker 2: I know alt right? Yeah, wow, welcome back.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you. How was your trip crazy? Yeah?
- 0:37Speaker 1: I feel like this last week has just been like
- 0:39Speaker 1: a total whirlwind.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Well, okay, so I know nothing about cans. Is it
- 0:45Speaker 2: cans or can can?
- 0:47Speaker 1: Hand line like soda can can? But I think if
- 0:50Speaker 1: you ask people there that live there, they say can.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Okay.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Everybody I talked to you said can? So I started,
- 0:55Speaker 1: I just said can.
- 0:56Speaker 3: It's definitely not cans.
- 0:57Speaker 1: It's definitely not can.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Okay, can lyon though? Right ze?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Plural? Can lions?
- 1:02Speaker 2: Oh? Can lions? Yes? Okay? For those who don't know,
- 1:06Speaker 2: like myself, what is can lions?
- 1:09Speaker 1: So basically what it is is it's like a giant
- 1:16Speaker 1: it's a giant gathering of creativity, and it's all about
- 1:22Speaker 1: advertising and marketing. So it's like all these big companies,
- 1:27Speaker 1: a lot of their cmos so they're chief marketing officers,
- 1:32Speaker 1: and it's like a celebration of creativity and kind of
- 1:37Speaker 1: like planning for the year ahead. Okay, so they'll do
- 1:41Speaker 1: tons of Like I was on a lot of panels
- 1:43Speaker 1: that was that we're talking about AI and human connection,
- 1:47Speaker 1: and I was obviously the human connection portion.
- 1:51Speaker 2: It was that my expert on AI.
- 1:56Speaker 1: The opposite of the expert on AI. So it's yeah,
- 1:59Speaker 1: it's basic, like all these creatives coming together for a week.
- 2:03Speaker 1: It's like Monday through Friday, m hmm, and it's like
- 2:06Speaker 1: to celebrate the year ahead all their joint ventures and
- 2:11Speaker 1: like tons of meetings are going on and like planning
- 2:14Speaker 1: for the year ahead. It's the craziest thing I've ever
- 2:17Speaker 1: experienced in my life.
- 2:18Speaker 2: But the meetings are essentially panels where people come and
- 2:22Speaker 2: are able to watch to see what's going on.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Yeah, so people can come, you can watch the panels.
- 2:27Speaker 1: But then also there's like other meetings happening. So like
- 2:31Speaker 1: if you if you're gonna do a huge uh, what's
- 2:36Speaker 1: sort I'm looking for collaboration with like a big brand
- 2:39Speaker 1: that coming year, they'll come and you guys will meet,
- 2:41Speaker 1: you'll talk about the upcoming year, the events that you
- 2:43Speaker 1: have with your company, how you guys can partner things
- 2:46Speaker 1: like that.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Gotcha, gotcha.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I know a lot of.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Celebrities there, like it's a big thing.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Alex Cooper was there, Alex Earl was there, Shaye Mitchell
- 2:55Speaker 1: was there, Travis Kelcey was there. I want to say,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and like I would walk in walking the streets and
- 3:01Speaker 1: I would run I ran into somebody I knew everywhere
- 3:03Speaker 1: I went from La.
- 3:04Speaker 2: WHOA, that's cool.
- 3:05Speaker 1: It's like everyone from La everyone. I want to feel
- 3:08Speaker 1: like eighty percent of the people that were in Can
- 3:10Speaker 1: that week were from the United States.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Yeah that makes sense. Yeah, so was it because I
- 3:15Speaker 2: was saying that her instagram made it feel like it
- 3:18Speaker 2: was really fun. Yeah, and like so cool.
- 3:21Speaker 1: It was really fun and really cool.
- 3:23Speaker 2: But I also was thinking I felt exhausted for you.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I think I was going off adrenaline because I was
- 3:31Speaker 1: pretty good when I was there, but like the minute
- 3:33Speaker 1: I touched down back at home, I literally like looked
- 3:36Speaker 1: at Robbie and I was like, I am completely my
- 3:39Speaker 1: battery is completely depleted, Like I'm done. Because I would
- 3:42Speaker 1: stay awake until I would basically wake up, go straight
- 3:46Speaker 1: into my morning stuff. Then I would do the morning
- 3:48Speaker 1: show at like like two or three pm there. Then
- 3:52Speaker 1: when that was done. I would do my dinners, and
- 3:54Speaker 1: then after the dinners, I would do whatever activity they
- 3:56Speaker 1: had me doing that night.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Wow.
- 3:57Speaker 1: So I didn't get home until like one thirty, and
- 3:59Speaker 1: then I would face I'm Robbie and it would be
- 4:01Speaker 1: like six pm his time, so you know, we would
- 4:03Speaker 1: just like chit chat and I'd be on the phone
- 4:04Speaker 1: with him for like two hours. So I don't want
- 4:06Speaker 1: to sleep till like three three thirty every night. Oh wow,
- 4:10Speaker 1: it's a lot. It was crazy.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Were you feeling fomo not getting to watch the Love
- 4:14Speaker 2: Island with everybody?
- 4:16Speaker 1: Yes, And I have a little bit of h I'm
- 4:19Speaker 1: having a little bit of fear with my upcoming honeymoon.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Oh I'm a position, but I think I might just
- 4:26Speaker 2: get a VPN.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so we normally do that, yeah yeah, yeah.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Yeah, because we can't just be missing out with what's happening,
- 4:35Speaker 2: so you can.
- 4:36Speaker 1: If I'm being honest, I was actually really good at
- 4:38Speaker 1: avoiding spoilers. I only saw I would skip your story,
- 4:42Speaker 1: you know.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Because what I did. Since I'm doing I'm doing recaps
- 4:45Speaker 2: on my Instagram, just like written out thoughts, but I
- 4:48Speaker 2: put at the top of Love Island recap, so if
- 4:49Speaker 2: people read it and they have a watch, they can just.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Yeah and no problem. I'd skip right by. Yeah, I
- 4:54Speaker 1: didn't see. I knew something happened with Hoodah because I
- 4:57Speaker 1: saw like the memes and stuff, but like, and I
- 4:59Speaker 1: knew Disorbo was like on the island, but I thought
- 5:02Speaker 1: she was a contestant. I was like, this is the
- 5:03Speaker 1: weirdest thing I've ever seen.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Well, her appearance was weird because she just came and
- 5:08Speaker 2: then she disappeared.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so like I saw some spoilers, I think overall,
- 5:11Speaker 1: I was really able, and I also was very much
- 5:14Speaker 1: like out of it.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Well, yeah I did.
- 5:16Speaker 1: When I'm busy, you don't really scrolling right like I
- 5:19Speaker 1: was like posting, but I wasn't scrolling so much, so
- 5:23Speaker 1: I was able to. So you you can't unplug and go,
- 5:27Speaker 1: because my whole thing without our honeymoon is like I
- 5:28Speaker 1: want to unplug and like be away. But then I'm like,
- 5:32Speaker 1: how am I just gonna like know that this is
- 5:33Speaker 1: happening and not like watch it.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Well, I will say because I poo pooed it. Love
- 5:39Speaker 2: Island so much because my experience was trying to binge
- 5:43Speaker 2: watch it. It's so different being a part of the
- 5:46Speaker 2: conversation as it's happening, because that's the fun part. If
- 5:50Speaker 2: I just watched it without the like thrill of having
- 5:54Speaker 2: everyone talking about every day what's happening, I would this season,
- 5:58Speaker 2: especially because it's bad. The cast is not great.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I feel like, as a purist, though you would love
- 6:05Speaker 1: like the the people. This season are so bad, I know,
- 6:10Speaker 1: but when you really like the people, it doesn't matter
- 6:12Speaker 1: about who. Like I was watching seasons one and two
- 6:15Speaker 1: that were like filming twenty fifteen.
- 6:17Speaker 2: But you do that with Survivor, you do that with shows.
- 6:20Speaker 1: What I'm saying is you don't need the social zeitgeist
- 6:22Speaker 1: to be like into it when it's good. When it's
- 6:25Speaker 1: good good.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I find it to be way more. I guess if
- 6:29Speaker 2: I guess if Haley and I said we're gonna watch
- 6:31Speaker 2: the season, we're gonna do it as if it's live
- 6:33Speaker 2: and watch it like one episode every night, as opposed
- 6:37Speaker 2: to trying to watch multiple episodes.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Right right, It's much more digestible one episode of night.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Yes, more than one is too much for my brain.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I feel like I'm losing brain cells. But while I'm
- 6:50Speaker 2: part of it, I'm I'm like watching it from nearly
- 6:53Speaker 2: a psychological standpoint. At this point, I'm like, what is
- 6:57Speaker 2: going on with these people?
- 6:58Speaker 4: Who's the guy with the plan to the apes? Tatch Okay,
- 7:02Speaker 4: I've seen him on the internet the ape shot.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Kill ape guy.
- 7:05Speaker 2: They all have I'm.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Some really bad tattoo I've seen on the internet from
- 7:11Speaker 3: this show.
- 7:12Speaker 1: But I got home when I got back from Can,
- 7:14Speaker 1: I had like seven episodes that I had missed and
- 7:16Speaker 1: that felt cumbersome. Like I was like, babe, we got
- 7:19Speaker 1: to get to it.
- 7:20Speaker 2: But do you know what the thing about the show
- 7:22Speaker 2: is is that most of it is this just them
- 7:24Speaker 2: chatting by the pool, and they're not chatting about anything
- 7:27Speaker 2: too intellectual that you need to pay attention to. No,
- 7:31Speaker 2: Like really, the all you need to get to is
- 7:33Speaker 2: when they do like recouplings and votes.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot. There are some episodes that are a
- 7:38Speaker 1: lot more we'll get into, like a hole. I have
- 7:40Speaker 1: so many thoughts and we can get into that like later,
- 7:44Speaker 1: like in this episode or in this episode.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Okay, okay, Yeah, so you go to Can. There was
- 7:50Speaker 2: a pretty significant person on the plane sitting behind you
- 7:54Speaker 2: on the way there.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Technically she was sitting in front of me.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I'm sorry, she was sitting in front of you. Yeah,
- 7:59Speaker 2: and who is it?
- 8:01Speaker 1: Do you want to guess? You know, we have Easton guests.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Okay, I don't know. I don't know who this is.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I think super famous social media starlet.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Social media starlett.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Okay, Alex Cooper close really yes, Alex Earl.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, look at me. Oh my god.
- 8:24Speaker 1: That game wasn't as fun as I thought it would be.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yeah, he got it right away.
- 8:28Speaker 1: So Alex Earl.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I walked.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I walk up to my plane. It was going from
- 8:33Speaker 1: Paris to can and I see Alex Earl at my
- 8:39Speaker 1: gate and I was like, that's Alex Earl. So I'm like,
- 8:45Speaker 1: she was so peacefully sitting there with her headphones on,
- 8:47Speaker 1: and I was like, I'm picking up on social cues
- 8:48Speaker 1: and I'm going to let her be there with her
- 8:50Speaker 1: good for you, thank you, with her headphones. And I
- 8:54Speaker 1: was very tired anyway, so I leaned my head and
- 8:56Speaker 1: took a nap. But then she gets seated right in
- 9:01Speaker 1: front of me on the plane. She's the seat in
- 9:02Speaker 1: front of me, and I'm like, now's my time. She
- 9:07Speaker 1: slept the whole flight, the whole flight, I'm talking.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Yeah, she likes to sleep on her flight to the followers.
- 9:13Speaker 2: She sleeps on every flight.
- 9:15Speaker 1: It was a one hour, forty five minute flight.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I don't know that anyone works harder than her or
- 9:20Speaker 2: does more than her, So I think when she has
- 9:23Speaker 2: moments of rest, she takes them.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yeah, she was good. Like I was chatting with the
- 9:28Speaker 1: girl next to me the whole flight, from like up
- 9:31Speaker 1: to down, the whole I bet Alex.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Earl texted whoever when she landy goes it was fine,
- 9:36Speaker 2: but the girl behind me did not stop talking. I
- 9:40Speaker 2: will I tried to sleep.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I try to talk quietly. Yeah, But then when we
- 9:48Speaker 1: were walking off the plane, she was obviously awake because
- 9:50Speaker 1: she was right, yeah, And the girl that I was
- 9:53Speaker 1: sitting next to chatting with had like a ton of bags,
- 9:56Speaker 1: and so Alex was like, Alex and I were like,
- 9:59Speaker 1: let help you. And so we were like helping this
- 10:02Speaker 1: girl with her bags, and I was like, this is
- 10:04Speaker 1: my inn, let's go. And then she just like bolted
- 10:07Speaker 1: off and I saw her at the luggage claim baggage claim,
- 10:16Speaker 1: and then she went to the bathroom. She didn't stay
- 10:17Speaker 1: at the luggage claim. She like went to the bathroom
- 10:19Speaker 1: and my bag came and then I had to leave.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I come just like sit there and like wait for her.
- 10:23Speaker 2: So you what you're saying is you didn't go up
- 10:26Speaker 2: and tell her about our podcast or introduce yourself or
- 10:29Speaker 2: get a picture. Interesting feels like a space to do it. Really,
- 10:34Speaker 2: That's where I would probably say hello, tap.
- 10:37Speaker 1: If we were at a birthday party, If we were
- 10:40Speaker 1: at a community community, that's not the right word communal
- 10:46Speaker 1: when you have somebody in common, what's the word.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I just feel confident you're not gonna win this.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Let's Earl and I were at a co friend birthday,
- 10:58Speaker 1: like she was at the birthday for some you that
- 11:00Speaker 1: I was at the birthday for. I would have totally
- 11:02Speaker 1: gone up to her.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I just am feeling like, you want it based on
- 11:06Speaker 2: your experiences. I just choose right in front of you.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Couldn't have tinks around two. I couldn't do it, so.
- 11:14Speaker 2: I tried to past I.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Actually it worked, but I'm trying to pick up on
- 11:21Speaker 1: social cues. At the headphones, she saw.
- 11:24Speaker 3: The headphones on that baggage.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Claim she did not have that, but she went to
- 11:28Speaker 1: the bathroom.
- 11:29Speaker 4: How about this scenario. You're at a birthday party friend
- 11:32Speaker 4: you both know Alex. Earl is deep in conversation with
- 11:35Speaker 4: somebody versus baggage claim standing alone, no headphones.
- 11:39Speaker 1: So she she she wasn't, so she like went to
- 11:42Speaker 1: the baggage claim. She had like a like a helper.
- 11:45Speaker 1: She had like somebody helper, so.
- 11:46Speaker 2: That it wasn't like her wasn't.
- 11:49Speaker 1: But she was there for like two seconds and then
- 11:51Speaker 1: she went to the bathroom. Like I couldn't even say hi.
- 11:54Speaker 3: No, I did no plan to follow her into the stall.
- 11:57Speaker 1: To think about it, I thought, I was like, that's creepy.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Well whatever, you get the feeling that I had at
- 12:05Speaker 2: some point, I think you can resonate with me not
- 12:08Speaker 2: going up to Sandro a little bit more.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I was hoping. What I was hoping was like, oh wow,
- 12:12Speaker 1: we're in like the same I didn't realize how giant
- 12:15Speaker 1: can Lions was and I was like, oh, I'll just
- 12:17Speaker 1: totally run into her at like one of the events,
- 12:19Speaker 1: but that did not happen.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Did you meet anyone like super exciting that you were
- 12:23Speaker 2: stoked about?
- 12:26Speaker 1: Yeah? I met Malcolm Gladwell amazing. Yeah that was like
- 12:32Speaker 1: pretty epic, And I do you know he is No,
- 12:36Speaker 1: he's like totally this like genius. He was like very popular.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I mean he's still very popular, but I feel like Eathan,
- 12:45Speaker 1: what would you say?
- 12:47Speaker 4: He's like a he writes like essays and Stephane has
- 12:50Speaker 4: a lot of podcasts about like society.
- 12:52Speaker 3: He read this.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Book like many many many years. I don't even know
- 12:55Speaker 1: what year. But he's like Robbie generation like like that.
- 12:58Speaker 1: He was very very big then because you wrote this
- 13:00Speaker 1: book called The Tipping Point that like really revolutionized like
- 13:03Speaker 1: a lot of thinking a lot about kids and like
- 13:07Speaker 1: how they performance in school based on like their age. Okay, anyways, so.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Outliars is another book he did.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Have you heard those?
- 13:15Speaker 2: I feel like I've heard about.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's like about like things that people who
- 13:19Speaker 4: are successful do that other people don't.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Stuff like that.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like super super smart. So I met him
- 13:25Speaker 1: and watched like a live podcast that he did, and
- 13:27Speaker 1: then Questlove and like Robbie's obsessed with Questlove and so
- 13:31Speaker 1: that was like fun and he was really cute about it.
- 13:34Speaker 1: And Eva Longoria, Oh nice, how she so cool? She
- 13:39Speaker 1: is one of those people that like she walks into
- 13:42Speaker 1: a room and you just feel her presence and her energy.
- 13:45Speaker 1: So we were at like this dinner one night. She
- 13:48Speaker 1: was like on one side of the table and I
- 13:50Speaker 1: was on the other side of the table, and like
- 13:52Speaker 1: she was just carrying this side of the table, do
- 13:55Speaker 1: you know, Like I just kept hearing her laugh and
- 13:57Speaker 1: just like so yeah, oh my gosh, just like so
- 14:00Speaker 1: bubbly and sweet.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Were you like, I need to step up my game.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Were you like trying to laugh harder than her so
- 14:06Speaker 2: that she could hear you laughing? Well?
- 14:08Speaker 1: No, but I was like, she's really entertaining that side
- 14:10Speaker 1: of the table. I gotta really entertain this, bring it up.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I gotta get it up. But you know what I
- 14:14Speaker 1: also realized on this trip, what the one like I
- 14:18Speaker 1: had major imposter syndrome. When I was flying flying to
- 14:21Speaker 1: cam Like, I literally sobbed. When I was leaving Paris,
- 14:26Speaker 1: I was like bawling crying. My mother in law and
- 14:28Speaker 1: aunt and cousin were in they met They were already
- 14:31Speaker 1: traveling in Europe, so they met me in Paris and
- 14:33Speaker 1: I just FaceTime Robbie and it was Father's Day and
- 14:36Speaker 1: I was missing him and I was just having like
- 14:38Speaker 1: crazy anxiety and like feeling anxious about going to can
- 14:42Speaker 1: And what I realized is, like all these cmos and
- 14:45Speaker 1: all these people that I was meeting, what's the one
- 14:48Speaker 1: common thread that connects us all Love Island. Oh, I
- 14:54Speaker 1: talked to it, talked about Love Island. But everybody there, Tanya.
- 14:58Speaker 2: This is so funny because I'm going to a this
- 15:00Speaker 2: weekend for some reason already I have to go alone.
- 15:02Speaker 2: I don't well, well, I asked Tanya. She wanted to go,
- 15:05Speaker 2: but it's like a late event. So if she's not
- 15:07Speaker 2: able to go, I was thinking, if I'm alone, what
- 15:09Speaker 2: am I going to talk about? And I go, someone
- 15:11Speaker 2: there has to be watching Love Island. It really is.
- 15:15Speaker 2: And even if they're not watching it, it's still a
- 15:17Speaker 2: conversation because why aren't you watching it? Let's talk about it.
- 15:20Speaker 2: I get it.
- 15:20Speaker 1: There wasn't one person I met that wasn't watching it.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, nice.
- 15:25Speaker 1: In the South of France.
- 15:26Speaker 2: So if you have imposter syndrome, start watching Love Violince
- 15:31Speaker 2: so that you can connect at social events.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah. I was like literally sobbing on my
- 15:37Speaker 1: car ride to the airport, which is so weird.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I get it, though, I get so weird about Gold.
- 15:44Speaker 2: I would literally while I was watching you there, I
- 15:47Speaker 2: thought about the imposter syndrome I would have if I
- 15:50Speaker 2: was there, Like I was having imposter syndrome, not even
- 15:53Speaker 2: by proxy.
- 15:54Speaker 1: That's deep.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Proxy is very it's not something new want to have.
- 16:01Speaker 2: But I thought to myself, like, wow, that would be
- 16:04Speaker 2: a very intimidating events week.
- 16:12Speaker 1: And everybody had somebody with them. So if it was
- 16:14Speaker 1: like a publicist, an agent, a manager, or a significant other,
- 16:17Speaker 1: like everybody that was there like had somebody, Well you had.
- 16:21Speaker 2: The option to bring somebody, but you didn't know until
- 16:24Speaker 2: the night before, which she texted me and goes, if
- 16:26Speaker 2: we were able to find a flight, would you get
- 16:29Speaker 2: on a plane? And I go, I think I'm past
- 16:32Speaker 2: the days of that type of society.
- 16:34Speaker 1: It really it was like two or three days before, No,
- 16:37Speaker 1: it was the day before.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Yeah, like a few like ten years ago, I would
- 16:43Speaker 2: have been like, let's go. She but I also was
- 16:46Speaker 2: you looked so great. Your outfits were all amazing. Than
- 16:49Speaker 2: it was the other thing, like everyone was dressed so well,
- 16:52Speaker 2: it's very chic.
- 16:54Speaker 1: It's so chic, and it's actually so funny because before
- 16:58Speaker 1: we left, I left on I don't remember the days,
- 17:01Speaker 1: but it doesn't matter because I got my period and
- 17:04Speaker 1: it was like that day where I just felt bloated
- 17:06Speaker 1: and gross and like flowy, like I didn't want to
- 17:10Speaker 1: try anything on. I was like, the last thing I
- 17:11Speaker 1: want to do is like go try anything on. And
- 17:14Speaker 1: Robbie like forced me. He was like, babe, like this
- 17:16Speaker 1: is the only day you have. Let's go. I'll go
- 17:18Speaker 1: with you. We'll try stuff on. Get it done. You're
- 17:21Speaker 1: gonna be so happy. And I'm so happy that, like
- 17:24Speaker 1: he pushed me, and I did it because I like
- 17:26Speaker 1: ended up just like feeling really good about like what
- 17:30Speaker 1: I was going in there, and I had everything planned
- 17:33Speaker 1: out and so that was really really nice.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Yeah, well he looked great.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I got to have the pleasure of watching Sonny for
- 17:41Speaker 2: the day on one of the days. Oh oh what
- 17:48Speaker 2: I'll tell them how that came about after the break
- 18:08Speaker 2: All right, we're back. So before Tanya left, she was
- 18:11Speaker 2: telling me she was having a lot of anxiety about
- 18:13Speaker 2: leaving Sonny, which I told I get so anxious when
- 18:16Speaker 2: I'm leaving Phoebe, And so it's.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Really grown over time, like I never used to feel
- 18:22Speaker 1: this way. And it was like really eating at me.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yeah, well normally crying because normally if you go on
- 18:29Speaker 2: a work trip, Robbie is there to watch Sonny. Yes,
- 18:32Speaker 2: and normally most of the time if I leave to
- 18:35Speaker 2: go on a short trip or something, Haley's there to
- 18:36Speaker 2: watch Phoebe, so I don't have anxiety over that. It's
- 18:39Speaker 2: when we're both leaving and she's staying with someone else
- 18:42Speaker 2: who If it's with my sister, I'm totally fine. But
- 18:45Speaker 2: if it's just her sitter, I get anxious. So I
- 18:48Speaker 2: was like, I totally get it, and she goes Yeah,
- 18:49Speaker 2: and Saturday, Jenna, who was watching Sonny, has to go
- 18:55Speaker 2: to Palm Spring, so she's gonna be alone all day.
- 18:57Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, well, just leave a key.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I don't have anything to do Saturday, so I can
- 19:00Speaker 2: go pick her up and just keep her company and
- 19:02Speaker 2: not by herself.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Meanwhile, when Becca sent me that text, I started sawing.
- 19:08Speaker 2: She sends me a photo of her sobbing, and I'm like,
- 19:10Speaker 2: what is this? Why are you crying? And she's like
- 19:12Speaker 2: that's just so nice. I'm like, it's your child, like
- 19:16Speaker 2: and I'm a dog mom, so I know the feeling
- 19:18Speaker 2: because she.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Could have been home. She could have been home and
- 19:20Speaker 1: it would have been fine. But the fact that like
- 19:22Speaker 1: Becka is like I'm gonna I'll pick her up and
- 19:23Speaker 1: spend the day with her. I just was like she
- 19:26Speaker 1: was my period, just like yeah, tears streaming down my face.
- 19:30Speaker 2: So we I go pick her up. I take her
- 19:32Speaker 2: on a hike. She stops walking mid hike. I to
- 19:35Speaker 2: carry her. Tanya's like, sho a way. She walks ten
- 19:38Speaker 2: thousand steps a day. I'm like, well, she's not hiking
- 19:40Speaker 2: in this heat.
- 19:41Speaker 1: So it was the heat that through her because she
- 19:43Speaker 1: can do ten thousand steps as a champ. Yeah.
- 19:46Speaker 2: So we went on so many walks and then it's
- 19:49Speaker 2: getting to like four or five, which is the time
- 19:52Speaker 2: she was supposed to be picked up, and I was
- 19:53Speaker 2: just kind of I was fine, but she was being
- 19:55Speaker 2: so good. I wasn't worried about it. And Tanya facetimes
- 19:58Speaker 2: me and she's like, so, Jenni's car broke down on
- 20:03Speaker 2: her way to the desert and they're not able to
- 20:06Speaker 2: fix it until tomorrow. And she was going to uber
- 20:09Speaker 2: back and I'm like, no, like, don't. She does not
- 20:12Speaker 2: need to uber back. We can keep sunny. But you know,
- 20:14Speaker 2: Tanya says she only sleeps in her crate or what
- 20:19Speaker 2: do you call it, her crape.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Yeah, so it was like cage. What not a cage,
- 20:24Speaker 1: it's a cage. Her cage and like, it's not a cage.
- 20:28Speaker 2: It's her bedroom, thinking the cage and sounds like a cage.
- 20:32Speaker 2: So I go, okay, I'll drive back over to your
- 20:35Speaker 2: house and I'll get her food and her crate so
- 20:37Speaker 2: that she feels cozy and safe at our house because
- 20:40Speaker 2: I don't want her to feel stressed at a new place.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Sobbing. I'm just like sobbing on the phone.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Clearly, I had a lot of time this day. I
- 20:47Speaker 2: was going back and forth well on multiple walks. It
- 20:51Speaker 2: was an easy day to have sunny. So I go,
- 20:54Speaker 2: I'm this crate is like bulky. Trying to put it
- 20:59Speaker 2: in my art it's like hitting my shin. I'm like, god,
- 21:04Speaker 2: Sonny gets a good night sleep tonight. So I go home,
- 21:10Speaker 2: I carry it in and we're getting ready for bed,
- 21:12Speaker 2: and I'm like, Tanya goes just say okay, Sonny, it's bedtime,
- 21:19Speaker 2: and she'll go into her crate. So I said it
- 21:21Speaker 2: in every tone and inflection you could say it. I
- 21:24Speaker 2: was like, Okay, Sonny, it's bedtime. Okay, Sonny, it's bad.
- 21:29Speaker 2: It's like, can you sound like Tanya. She's just on
- 21:32Speaker 2: the bed staring at me like okay, then go get
- 21:36Speaker 2: in your bed, I'm in bed, so she slept with
- 21:38Speaker 2: us the whole night in our bed. I woke up
- 21:41Speaker 2: to Hailey had her one arm wrapped around Sonny, the
- 21:44Speaker 2: other on Phoebe.
- 21:46Speaker 1: So the whole time.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Hailey's like, so the next day, Robbie is getting home,
- 21:52Speaker 2: so I go, okay, I'll just bring her home towards
- 21:54Speaker 2: the end of the day so that she's not home
- 21:56Speaker 2: for a long time. And Hailey's like, can we just
- 21:58Speaker 2: keep her one more night? And I'm like, no, I
- 22:00Speaker 2: think Robbie and are gonna want to see her. She's like,
- 22:04Speaker 2: I think we need another dog, like I love Sonny,
- 22:06Speaker 2: like we'll keep her anytime. And I was like, okay,
- 22:10Speaker 2: well they are not gonna give us Sonny. And I
- 22:13Speaker 2: fed her, I walked her, so I all the work.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Glad you enjoyed the cuddles. Right now, we're good with one.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I when you send me like the picture of Sonny
- 22:27Speaker 1: in bed with you guys, like I don't know again,
- 22:29Speaker 1: like something has gone come over me because I'm just
- 22:32Speaker 1: like an emotional wreck, Like it made me like cry again,
- 22:37Speaker 1: and like just the thought of her being so safe
- 22:41Speaker 1: with you, Although I do feel like if you would
- 22:42Speaker 1: have said it a couple more times. It's bedtime, Sonny. Okay, Sonny,
- 22:45Speaker 1: it's bedtime, but she knows. She gets up and she
- 22:47Speaker 1: goes into.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Her Great maybe at your house.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yeah that's true. But like there's something and maybe it
- 22:55Speaker 1: comes with age. Maybe I'm just like being more like
- 22:57Speaker 1: emotional because I'm getting older, or like because like I'm
- 23:01Speaker 1: trying to have a baby, Like I don't know all
- 23:03Speaker 1: those things. Like I feel like I'm just being everything's
- 23:06Speaker 1: so much more sentimental. So like the thought of you
- 23:08Speaker 1: being with her, and then like I started thinking about
- 23:11Speaker 1: what if you didn't pick her up that day and
- 23:13Speaker 1: she would have been stuck in the house.
- 23:15Speaker 2: And it was like sending me anxiety text after I
- 23:18Speaker 2: have Sonny with me about how anxious she was thinking
- 23:20Speaker 2: about if she had been alone all day, And I
- 23:23Speaker 2: was like, you were having anxiety.
- 23:24Speaker 1: After I actually totally fine.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Yeah that's just as bad as imbuster syndrome by proxy.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Yeah, anxiety about things that didn't happen.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Exactly, anxiety what could have happened. There is something about that,
- 23:39Speaker 2: There is a there's something with a name to describe that.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I just don't know what it is.
- 23:44Speaker 4: So wow, something it keeps happening to me is like
- 23:47Speaker 4: we flew over the weekend and I got to the
- 23:49Speaker 4: airport and right before I opened the trunk of my car,
- 23:51Speaker 4: I was like, what if I forgot my bluggage and everything, like,
- 23:54Speaker 4: knowing that it was in the trunk, Like I just
- 23:55Speaker 4: had this like what what if? And then I get
- 23:58Speaker 4: all that Cortisol and I started like freaking out. I
- 24:00Speaker 4: opened up the trunk and everything's in there. It's just
- 24:02Speaker 4: it's pointless, like why why do our brains do that?
- 24:05Speaker 1: I don't know. You know, I never used to be
- 24:06Speaker 1: this way, So it's a little concerning.
- 24:10Speaker 2: You were no with what with anxiety?
- 24:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I was never really like an anxious person in general.
- 24:20Speaker 2: I think you are anxious about things you can't control.
- 24:24Speaker 1: True, the fact that I was very far away, the
- 24:27Speaker 1: fact that I was in France and like all this
- 24:30Speaker 1: was happening in La it's.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Very much out of your control. So I think that's
- 24:33Speaker 2: where you get in your spirals. Yeah, that's okay, she's
- 24:37Speaker 2: all good. We love her.
- 24:38Speaker 1: That's so nice. And Phoebe liked her too.
- 24:42Speaker 2: There you know what it was, they were both just
- 24:45Speaker 2: like respect what we were dying laughing because they're both
- 24:48Speaker 2: like the queens of their home, like they're both like
- 24:51Speaker 2: the princess of the house, and so there was a
- 24:54Speaker 2: mutual respect. But they weren't like.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Like Sonny was like, I know this is your house, Phoebe.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Yeah, And Phoebe was like, I know you're hanging out
- 25:01Speaker 2: with this, and so you're fine, but like keep your distance,
- 25:05Speaker 2: and Sonny was like kept her distance. So it was
- 25:08Speaker 2: very respectful. I really appreciated it. They weren't trying to
- 25:10Speaker 2: like if Phoebe was sitting by me, Sonny would go
- 25:14Speaker 2: sit by Haley. You know. There was just like a respect,
- 25:16Speaker 2: which I yeah. So it was funny. And then and
- 25:20Speaker 2: then I also brought Sonny's stuffed animal.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I know, I like why. I was like, Robbie, why
- 25:27Speaker 1: did you tell Becca to bring He didn't, I know,
- 25:31Speaker 1: I didn't realize.
- 25:32Speaker 2: That it was just on top of the cage, I
- 25:33Speaker 2: mean the great So I she was like, I guess
- 25:36Speaker 2: this is something she sleeps with. I did not realize
- 25:39Speaker 2: I was bringing her hump toy. And so she like
- 25:44Speaker 2: gets in starts like slinging it around, growling at me
- 25:46Speaker 2: to like throw it. Yeah yeah, And so I throw
- 25:49Speaker 2: it and she brings it back and Phoebe sitting on
- 25:51Speaker 2: the couch, and I think Phoebe went through a humping
- 25:54Speaker 2: pace like when she was tiny, and that's it.
- 25:57Speaker 1: We thought you would grow out of this too, uh huh.
- 25:59Speaker 1: But like she humps that thing ten times at least
- 26:02Speaker 1: every night, and like the every night. And the weird
- 26:05Speaker 1: thing is is she like throws it around first, like
- 26:08Speaker 1: she like gets it in her mouth and like tosses
- 26:10Speaker 1: it around and then like humps it. I'm like, there's
- 26:12Speaker 1: something really like aggressive, aggressive and like weird happening here,
- 26:17Speaker 1: but like I don't know how to correct it, so
- 26:18Speaker 1: I'm just gonna like let her enjoy.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Haley goes this is she's seen this before, this has
- 26:24Speaker 2: learned behavior, and I was like, I don't need to
- 26:26Speaker 2: go there with her four sony in her great what
- 26:31Speaker 2: she's exposed to visually. So anyways, yeah, so she like
- 26:38Speaker 2: goes to talent. Phoebe just is like staring at her
- 26:41Speaker 2: and then she'll look back at me like what is
- 26:44Speaker 2: she doing? What is this?
- 26:45Speaker 1: It's a jarring it's jarring. It is for the first time.
- 26:48Speaker 2: She almost is like a front flip. She's going so
- 26:50Speaker 2: hard it's crazy.
- 26:53Speaker 1: So anyways, after we got her neutered.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that would change. No, people are like I
- 26:59Speaker 2: just you would think that someone would try to correct this.
- 27:02Speaker 2: And the fact that Tanya hasn't is so her.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? She gets so much pleasure on
- 27:08Speaker 1: It's like, why would I like rob my child of
- 27:11Speaker 1: such pleasure?
- 27:13Speaker 2: Yeah? Right, right right? The thing of honeymoon, this is
- 27:18Speaker 2: your honeymoon?
- 27:21Speaker 1: Yes?
- 27:22Speaker 2: Are you excited?
- 27:23Speaker 1: So excited?
- 27:24Speaker 2: Okay, So what's in your mind? What does a perfect
- 27:27Speaker 2: honeymoon look like?
- 27:30Speaker 1: You know, ask yourself that question. What's the difference. I've
- 27:36Speaker 1: been trying, like what's the difference.
- 27:37Speaker 3: What's Tanya's perfect?
- 27:40Speaker 1: Perfect like yours? Like, what's the difference? But I realized, like,
- 27:43Speaker 1: what's the difference between the honeymoon and just like a vacation?
- 27:46Speaker 2: Well, I think that the traditional honeymoon was right after
- 27:50Speaker 2: the we So you're decompressing from the high and or recapping.
- 27:53Speaker 2: So I feel like this is a a glorified vacation
- 27:58Speaker 2: celebrating some huge but it's you'll have already recapped that,
- 28:02Speaker 2: right right.
- 28:03Speaker 1: And I understand why people go right after their wedding
- 28:06Speaker 1: because there's this like crazy high that you're on that
- 28:09Speaker 1: I've never experienced in my life. Like maybe you get
- 28:12Speaker 1: that from drugs. I don't know, but like it was
- 28:14Speaker 1: just this like crazy high that I had after our wedding,
- 28:17Speaker 1: And like I understand now why people do their honeymoons
- 28:21Speaker 1: right after, because you just want to like keep that
- 28:24Speaker 1: high going us instead of just like coming back to reality.
- 28:28Speaker 1: But that high is.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Disappeyy.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crash.
- 28:37Speaker 2: It comes back with the honeymoon. Maybe it's a revamp
- 28:40Speaker 2: of the wedding high.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe we're gonna watch We decided we're going to
- 28:44Speaker 1: watch our wedding video for the first time, so we're
- 28:46Speaker 1: saving it for the honeymoon.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:48Speaker 1: It's like an hour and a half. So it's like
- 28:50Speaker 1: a full movie.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 2: You can just pop that right in. Relive the relove
- 28:56Speaker 2: the moments.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Yeah, so we're gonna do that.
- 28:59Speaker 2: And are you all going somewhere tropical?
- 29:01Speaker 1: Yes, we're gonna We're doing like party for the first
- 29:04Speaker 1: like five days and then like romance chill the last
- 29:08Speaker 1: four days.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Nice. Yeah sounds lovely.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm excited. I'm like so excited I can't think
- 29:15Speaker 1: about anything else then.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Your hommy huh yeah, huh, you have about your outfits.
- 29:20Speaker 1: No, but I'm gonna wing it, yeah, will yeah laingerie. No,
- 29:28Speaker 1: I know I need to go get some though.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Maybe just like a nice new set, right.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I think I have one that I got for something
- 29:38Speaker 1: that I never wore. Repurpose it. Yeah, yet like a
- 29:42Speaker 1: little garter, right aren't those things called garters?
- 29:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 29:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. I want to do something that's like Honeymoon esque,
- 29:51Speaker 1: But I just like don't know, like I was gonna
- 29:53Speaker 1: print out pictures from our wedding and like write little
- 29:55Speaker 1: notes on the back of them or something.
- 29:58Speaker 2: I mean, the wedding watching the wedding video feels very Honeymoon.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Ask cut right and having your resort if they want
- 30:05Speaker 2: to like put rose you know, happy honey, like mister
- 30:10Speaker 2: and missus Yadagar and Roses. Just I don't know what.
- 30:15Speaker 3: That making, okay, but I didn't mean it for I
- 30:22Speaker 3: didn't mean.
- 30:22Speaker 2: For to be sexual, y'all, to walk in and be
- 30:26Speaker 2: like decorated. Okay, moving on, moving on. So can we
- 30:31Speaker 2: get into Love Island?
- 30:32Speaker 1: We sure can't. Maybe we do it after the break night, all.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Right, we're back. So Love Island. H I, as someone
- 30:58Speaker 2: who has not watched the show religiously haven't been able
- 31:04Speaker 2: to figure out what the rules are with these like
- 31:06Speaker 2: recouplings and voting things.
- 31:08Speaker 1: They change them every season.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Okay, well, what I feel like is they change them
- 31:11Speaker 2: every episode to fit whatever they're trying to get for drama.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Correct.
- 31:16Speaker 2: But so I guess this is a spoiler alert. If
- 31:20Speaker 2: you're not watching live, spoiler alert, here's your moment.
- 31:25Speaker 1: But I need people to pay attention because I feel
- 31:28Speaker 1: like people aren't voting appropriately.
- 31:30Speaker 2: But it's so confusing.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I'm like, why a person that you want to keep
- 31:34Speaker 1: on the island, But why are you.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Not just voting for who you want to go to
- 31:38Speaker 2: be to go home? Yeah?
- 31:40Speaker 1: I know, I don't know.
- 31:41Speaker 2: They're making it difficult. Also, I'm sorry, but Amaya's really sweet,
- 31:46Speaker 2: but it's time for her to go in her and Austin.
- 31:52Speaker 2: I agree, because no, here's the thing.
- 31:53Speaker 1: But the Islander's got to choose, not America.
- 31:57Speaker 2: I know, but I feel like we miss something. Why
- 32:00Speaker 2: did America keep Hudduh?
- 32:02Speaker 1: I they didn't. I swear that was a producer thing.
- 32:05Speaker 1: There's no way America kept Hooduh.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Here's the thing. I don't hate hood Up, but I
- 32:09Speaker 2: don't I don't know that I care about her journey
- 32:11Speaker 2: any longer correct, and I'm ready for her to go.
- 32:14Speaker 2: I'm so mad about Jeremiah because I felt like, even
- 32:17Speaker 2: though people have issues with him and they think he
- 32:19Speaker 2: like love bombs or whatever, I'm like, whatever, like the show,
- 32:23Speaker 2: What else are you supposed to do on the show?
- 32:25Speaker 1: I no, But my favorite thing is when Huda was like,
- 32:28Speaker 1: it was nice to flirt again. I still got it
- 32:31Speaker 1: because you didn't flirt for five days? What are you
- 32:34Speaker 1: talking about?
- 32:35Speaker 2: A There was just a lack of self awareness. But
- 32:39Speaker 2: there's a lack of self awareness with her though. Again,
- 32:42Speaker 2: I just don't know. She's good made for a show
- 32:45Speaker 2: like Love Island, correct, and not in a way of
- 32:48Speaker 2: like she's causing drama. I don't. I just don't know
- 32:50Speaker 2: that I care to watch her try it.
- 32:55Speaker 1: There's this girl that I follow on TikTok that basically
- 32:57Speaker 1: like takes all these Love Island clips and then talks
- 33:00Speaker 1: about like what attachment style they are.
- 33:03Speaker 2: She's anxious, I know, and.
- 33:05Speaker 1: I don't think I am anxious attached anymore. But as
- 33:09Speaker 1: a former anxiously attached girle, I was like offended because
- 33:13Speaker 1: I'm like, we're not all like.
- 33:14Speaker 2: That, Donya. You would literally be if you and Robbie
- 33:17Speaker 2: met on Love Island and then he started ignoring you
- 33:21Speaker 2: would literally be about I. Honestly, I would feel like,
- 33:26Speaker 2: send this girl home.
- 33:28Speaker 1: The people that go on Love Island and they're just like, yeah,
- 33:31Speaker 1: I'm open, I'm open, go do your thing, like yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 1: let's have sex one night, and then you just stay open.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Like I'm like, it's all bizarre to me.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Well, yeah, that's weird.
- 33:40Speaker 1: That's not avoidant attachment shit right there, It's not normal.
- 33:43Speaker 2: No, But I was so mad because I have to
- 33:46Speaker 2: say the kiss between Jeremiah and Adriana, however you say Adrina,
- 33:52Speaker 2: how do you say your name? Adrena Andrena Andrena Andrena.
- 33:56Speaker 2: The kiss the night before last episode before Us, where
- 34:00Speaker 2: they were in soul Ties was like one of the
- 34:02Speaker 2: best first kisses I've ever seen in reality. There was
- 34:05Speaker 2: like passion, there was chemistry, and I was like, okay,
- 34:08Speaker 2: we could she might get crazy, she might get crazy,
- 34:11Speaker 2: and he might be in another head of situation.
- 34:13Speaker 1: But do you remember that Jeremiah kept it a secret
- 34:15Speaker 1: that they kissed. He didn't tell anybody except for Iris.
- 34:18Speaker 1: I'm thinking maybe they didn't know that they like had
- 34:21Speaker 1: a connection.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Yes they did. Then they were all sitting there when
- 34:24Speaker 2: they kissed on the baby. Yeah, you're right, and As
- 34:27Speaker 2: and Nick are so jealous of why are they so?
- 34:30Speaker 2: Why are Taylor as and Nick? Why do they care
- 34:32Speaker 2: what Jeremiah's do.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Robbie hit the nail on the head. He was like,
- 34:35Speaker 1: Ace is playing Love Island like he were on.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Survival, That's what said. But I don't watch Survivor.
- 34:43Speaker 1: You basically you vote off the biggest threats. So he's like,
- 34:45Speaker 1: I think that Ace feels threatened by Jeremiah because he's
- 34:48Speaker 1: like so hot and everybody's just like so he's like,
- 34:51Speaker 1: get this guy out, and like was just hating on
- 34:53Speaker 1: him the whole time.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Because the girls that I think Ace was were had
- 34:57Speaker 2: interest in liked Jeremiah.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Correct.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Okay, So I started thinking, maybe the point that I'm
- 35:04Speaker 2: missing is that they're supposed to vote off who could
- 35:06Speaker 2: be a threat in terms of winning the hundred thousand dollars.
- 35:08Speaker 2: So I was like, maybe that's what they're playing. And
- 35:10Speaker 2: then when Robbie sent that, I was like, Okay, so
- 35:13Speaker 2: he is. He's not doing it the way they're supposed
- 35:15Speaker 2: to do it. Who I'm so over them. I'm so Nick, do.
- 35:20Speaker 1: You know what? They don't do this there? Do you
- 35:21Speaker 1: know what? They don't do this stuff? Love Island UK? Oh,
- 35:26Speaker 1: they don't do this bullshit.
- 35:27Speaker 2: They don't know.
- 35:28Speaker 1: They're just like, it's so different. It's so different but
- 35:33Speaker 1: yet still drama filled, but in such like a mature way.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I can't explain it. It's so much better.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Is the new? Is this current season of UK better?
- 35:41Speaker 1: I haven't hearted watching it, so I just I've heard
- 35:45Speaker 1: from other people that it is.
- 35:46Speaker 2: And then Sierra sleeps with Nick and then all of
- 35:49Speaker 2: a sudden he needs to be open, and I'm just like,
- 35:52Speaker 2: I can't. I have the biggest ag from him now.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Same and I want I'm dumped.
- 35:56Speaker 2: My other thought is that every time Shelley's on the screen,
- 35:59Speaker 2: I'm like, I always say a lot. I'm like, she's
- 36:01Speaker 2: so beautiful, her face looks like a doll.
- 36:04Speaker 1: AI, Yeah, what else?
- 36:07Speaker 2: I'm Austin Amaya. They gotta go because outside of Austin's
- 36:11Speaker 2: not even into Maya anymore.
- 36:13Speaker 1: No, Austin needed to go a long. I can't ta
- 36:16Speaker 1: me too, Like, I'm like, what does anybody see in
- 36:18Speaker 1: no fence?
- 36:19Speaker 2: No one's gonna be interested in him? Yeah, And she's
- 36:22Speaker 2: so swing cue and she's such a girl's girl, but
- 36:24Speaker 2: I just don't think the guys are drawn to her energy. Correct,
- 36:28Speaker 2: So I'm like, how and then Hannah's been in a
- 36:30Speaker 2: committed room thing the whole time she's been on the show.
- 36:33Speaker 1: I know, but you know what what I think wants
- 36:36Speaker 1: Pepe ye yes oh led the charge to get rid.
- 36:42Speaker 1: I want to roll the tapes. I want to see
- 36:45Speaker 1: that conversation season so this is what happened last season
- 36:48Speaker 1: when like when it was like the big what was
- 36:51Speaker 1: her name?
- 36:52Speaker 2: Andrea?
- 36:52Speaker 1: Andrea, the Big Andrea, and then everybody was like, I
- 36:55Speaker 1: want to see the tape. I want to see the tape.
- 36:56Speaker 1: I want to see the tape of this. Who led
- 36:58Speaker 1: the charge on Hannah? I need to know who led
- 37:01Speaker 1: the charge?
- 37:01Speaker 2: Is not into Hoodah?
- 37:04Speaker 1: Did he tell her that?
- 37:05Speaker 2: No?
- 37:05Speaker 1: TJ told her that. Pepe did not.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Say Pepe told her. He's like, you can tell when
- 37:10Speaker 2: Pepe is talking to Huddah, he's not interested. These names
- 37:13Speaker 2: are crazy. I'm just making up names and talking, okay,
- 37:20Speaker 2: but this is.
- 37:22Speaker 1: And also I'm so frustrated. Orlandria is my girl and
- 37:26Speaker 1: I'm upset so they're not like her. No, Taylor needs
- 37:30Speaker 1: to go. Like Taylor, it's not friend Island. There is
- 37:34Speaker 1: no chemistry there between the well, you know what, my dog,
- 37:41Speaker 1: that's how I kiss my dog.
- 37:42Speaker 2: No, you kiss her more passionately than he kisses a laundry.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I heard that he's a girlfriend though.
- 37:48Speaker 2: I know, so that makes sense. He won't kiss her
- 37:50Speaker 2: with like an open mouth because he's like, well, I
- 37:53Speaker 2: pecked her basically.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Yeah, so Taylor, Taylor's got to go. Ace has got
- 37:59Speaker 1: to go.
- 38:01Speaker 2: I'm over all the guys.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Nick has got to come. Who's left? Pepe tj Oh.
- 38:07Speaker 2: I'm okay with TJ. I kind of like DJ and Iris.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not interesting at all, but I wanted to
- 38:15Speaker 1: love Iris, and I'm like, she is wallpaper.
- 38:18Speaker 2: The most boring person is the person that I would
- 38:21Speaker 2: most likely have friendship with outside of the show. Okay,
- 38:23Speaker 2: so I gotta trust Iris that she's grounded and normal
- 38:28Speaker 2: and boring TV.
- 38:29Speaker 1: For boring TV.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Yeah, so those are my thoughts so far. But I
- 38:33Speaker 2: just also one of my favorite things is when Arion
- 38:37Speaker 2: and Maddox is coming in and she like looks at
- 38:39Speaker 2: the camera and does like a head tilt or something.
- 38:42Speaker 2: It's just so good. It's too much, and the show's
- 38:45Speaker 2: so crazy when you're watching it, like when they opened
- 38:48Speaker 2: the door to choose who they wanted, and then Oriana
- 38:50Speaker 2: is like, okay, Pepe and Hannah, you are a couple now,
- 38:54Speaker 2: and then everyone class brain cells are just like I'm
- 39:00Speaker 2: windling out of.
- 39:04Speaker 1: But I really am up their game though, these doors
- 39:06Speaker 1: and things like I'm like this was not past, Like
- 39:10Speaker 1: this was not Also, what.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Would you do if Meg this dying came in and
- 39:14Speaker 2: you she picked to contest? Would I give the impostor
- 39:21Speaker 2: by proxy?
- 39:22Speaker 1: That would have been very very bad. But you know what,
- 39:25Speaker 1: I also realized to like how out of it I am,
- 39:28Speaker 1: because like they're saying using all these words, and like
- 39:30Speaker 1: this morning I kept being like my phone's crashing out,
- 39:34Speaker 1: my phone's crashing out. So I'm like trying to like
- 39:36Speaker 1: use their lingo like in my own day to day,
- 39:39Speaker 1: you know, and like this, this this thing is just
- 39:41Speaker 1: like the new period.
- 39:44Speaker 3: Yeah, tapping her.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Slapping my fingers together. They keep doing this like like
- 39:49Speaker 1: it's almost like slow clap or like oh yeah, just
- 39:52Speaker 1: like yeah.
- 39:54Speaker 3: I just learned this, like just learned a little.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Thing.
- 39:59Speaker 3: I can't I don't have room for another hand.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Thing well, and the Jeremiah would be like, yeah type type.
- 40:07Speaker 2: I don't mean what does that mean?
- 40:10Speaker 1: What does it mean?
- 40:12Speaker 2: I don't know, gen z help.
- 40:17Speaker 1: There are a lot of things that they're that they
- 40:19Speaker 1: say that I'm like, I have no idea what that means. Yeah,
- 40:23Speaker 1: I know, so like crushing out is like you crush off,
- 40:27Speaker 1: let me cook and you like you know, like I know.
- 40:32Speaker 2: When did is the breakfast? The guy's cooking breakfasting just
- 40:34Speaker 2: a love Island.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Yeah, they always, but they never cooked for multiply. Okay,
- 40:42Speaker 1: here's my other thing that just like rubs my engine
- 40:45Speaker 1: with the US version rubs her engine. There's not a
- 40:49Speaker 1: single couple like who's the who's like the best couple
- 40:52Speaker 1: in the house.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Pep have said here and Nick and.
- 40:57Speaker 1: But Nick's wide open, his doors wide open.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Usually by the time Cossa More comes, there's like couples
- 41:04Speaker 1: and you're invested and they're like locked in and like
- 41:07Speaker 1: they're like Jeremiah on Hooda like when they were in
- 41:09Speaker 1: the beginning, Like there are couples that are like this
- 41:11Speaker 1: and then you go into Cassa More and it's like
- 41:14Speaker 1: this this candy shop and it's like you're so much
- 41:16Speaker 1: more invested. Now, I'm like, none of these people are
- 41:19Speaker 1: are coupled up, none of that you're invested, is like.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like if they cheat, you're
- 41:26Speaker 2: not like, I mean whatever, They've already established that they're open, right,
- 41:30Speaker 2: so what if.
- 41:31Speaker 1: They come back from Cossa More with somebody on their arm.
- 41:34Speaker 1: I'm not shocked by any of these people, whereas like
- 41:36Speaker 1: normally like like I keep going back to the Tommy
- 41:40Speaker 1: and Molly season, but like there and there's other like
- 41:41Speaker 1: Shauna and Callum they were like locked in. They were
- 41:45Speaker 1: like a couple, and then Callum comes in with Molly
- 41:47Speaker 1: and it's like.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Wear and Kayler were last season. That's why exactly the
- 41:54Speaker 2: return was so dramatic. But I don't see it being
- 41:57Speaker 2: dramatic unless they bring Jeremiah back.
- 42:01Speaker 1: No, yes, they need to bring well it would have
- 42:03Speaker 1: been great at the had Hannah and they brought Charlie back.
- 42:06Speaker 2: They're both gone.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Yeah, that storylines out, but yeah, like I feel like
- 42:12Speaker 1: if they brought someone back that had a connection with somebody,
- 42:17Speaker 1: so I'm like, Casa More Okay.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I also saw materialists.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Oh whoa wait, wait, one last one last thing before
- 42:26Speaker 1: we pivot.
- 42:27Speaker 4: Yeah, Allison is tempted to get into Love Island.
- 42:31Speaker 2: We saw her. I saw her post about it. Yeah,
- 42:36Speaker 2: and I'm like, I understand you, Allison, Like I was
- 42:39Speaker 2: you why.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Because she doesn't want to start with so many episodes.
- 42:43Speaker 4: She felt that was intimidating. But but we hung out with Ashley,
- 42:47Speaker 4: who you know, and she was telling us the premise.
- 42:50Speaker 4: We didn't know how that it was like happening right now. Yeah,
- 42:53Speaker 4: And I kind of find it interesting that the people
- 42:56Speaker 4: on Love Island don't know about like major world events
- 42:59Speaker 4: that are happening right now.
- 43:00Speaker 3: I think that's kind of interesting.
- 43:01Speaker 1: They know nothing.
- 43:02Speaker 3: They know nothing about the world.
- 43:03Speaker 1: They know nothing.
- 43:04Speaker 2: I will say on The Bachelor if there was a
- 43:07Speaker 2: world event, they would a clue.
- 43:09Speaker 4: As I was going to ask about that, actually, like
- 43:11Speaker 4: did the producers make hey, by the way, world War
- 43:13Speaker 4: three might be happening when you got off the.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Like I think they would have told told you, Like
- 43:18Speaker 2: there was like we knew when Adele dropped a new
- 43:20Speaker 2: song that's weird. Yeah, but I didn't. They didn't tell
- 43:26Speaker 2: me when my great grandma passed away, oh no, because
- 43:29Speaker 2: it was at the very end and my mom called
- 43:32Speaker 2: because my parents you have a contact in case there's
- 43:36Speaker 2: an emergency. And so my mom called to tell them
- 43:40Speaker 2: and they were like, we're like two days towards till
- 43:42Speaker 2: the end, Like she's in the final two Do you
- 43:45Speaker 2: want to tell her? Do you do? You want to
- 43:47Speaker 2: just wait? And I think my mom was just kind
- 43:49Speaker 2: of like, yeah, I guess, just wait. I don't know, right.
- 43:52Speaker 2: So I got dumped in a barn and then found
- 43:55Speaker 2: out my great grandma passed away.
- 43:57Speaker 3: But they pulled you on and be like you need
- 43:59Speaker 3: to know, no, you even know, hello is out.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I heard that they don't even have clocks in there.
- 44:06Speaker 1: They don't even let them know what time it is
- 44:08Speaker 1: because they want them to all like when they when
- 44:10Speaker 1: they go to bed or whatever, it's like the same
- 44:12Speaker 1: time every night. When they wake them up, it's the
- 44:14Speaker 1: same time, but they don't know what time it is.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Also, you know what, Haley always says that it is
- 44:18Speaker 2: so gross to me.
- 44:19Speaker 1: What the colts were outbreak.
- 44:21Speaker 2: No, that was disgusting. I was so grossed out. But
- 44:25Speaker 2: she's like, I wonder how gross their room smells in
- 44:28Speaker 2: the morning, And I.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Was like, I know, it's crazy in there.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I hated that. Yeah, if my smells like like stale.
- 44:35Speaker 1: It's like stale sleep yeah times ten twenty. How many
- 44:39Speaker 1: of them are there?
- 44:40Speaker 2: So many? And they're all in beds together and then
- 44:43Speaker 2: I'm like, imagine not being attracted to someone and having
- 44:46Speaker 2: to share a full bed.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I think they're queens. I did a little research.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Okay. My last question because we do have
- 44:53Speaker 2: to wrap up the colts were Outbreak, which is also
- 44:56Speaker 2: going to watch.
- 44:57Speaker 3: She hasn't started yet, but she's wait.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Because wait, yeah, it's a more commerce than it becomes
- 45:05Speaker 1: after Cossa More, it starts to get very boring. Like
- 45:07Speaker 1: to me, the last like four episodes of every season
- 45:09Speaker 1: are just like it's like usually the couples just being
- 45:12Speaker 1: like cute and like they bring in like babies and like.
- 45:14Speaker 4: What That's what actually was telling us. More is a
- 45:16Speaker 4: snooze fest after after.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, so now's the time for her to
- 45:21Speaker 1: really jump on.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Yeah. My question is do we know are there producers
- 45:27Speaker 2: on site or are there are there just cameras where
- 45:32Speaker 2: they're talking to like a speaker or something.
- 45:34Speaker 1: No, so I heard again this is all just like
- 45:37Speaker 1: from what I see you research. This is per my research,
- 45:39Speaker 1: But they have so many cameras, so like all their
- 45:42Speaker 1: like conversations, they have to have them in certain areas
- 45:45Speaker 1: like they're not like whatever, yeah, and then they have
- 45:48Speaker 1: that confessional. I think there's a producer in there, but
- 45:51Speaker 1: not like filming.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Out there, so they don't have camera people.
- 45:54Speaker 1: In their face. Yeah. Interesting, I know.
- 45:58Speaker 2: I mean that makes it feel okay. Is the thing
- 46:01Speaker 2: that I remember on The Bachelor. You'd be like, in
- 46:03Speaker 2: the middle of conversation, he was just turning look and
- 46:06Speaker 2: there's a person holding a huge camera. Oh wait, yeah,
- 46:08Speaker 2: I'm like being filmed or.
- 46:10Speaker 1: It's not like that here that the cameras are just
- 46:13Speaker 1: like in all these spots and then they can just
- 46:16Speaker 1: like zoom in and zoom out. But I did have
- 46:21Speaker 1: a thought of, like, I don't use that much tongue
- 46:23Speaker 1: when I kiss, and I feel like maybe Robbie's missing out.
- 46:26Speaker 2: I don't know, I would ask. I think that's a
- 46:28Speaker 2: preference thing, so I want to just.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Go all their tongues. All of them are like always
- 46:34Speaker 1: out for every makeout.
- 46:35Speaker 2: It's like so sloppy and like the milk challenge almost
- 46:42Speaker 2: made me gag. Yeah, I couldn't. I was like having
- 46:45Speaker 2: to turn away Easton just so you know, there was
- 46:47Speaker 2: a challenge where the guys would drink the milk from
- 46:51Speaker 2: the utter these utters, spit it into the girl's mouth
- 46:56Speaker 2: and the girl.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Would have to spit it into a bucket and.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Then they'd splash the bucket on someone.
- 47:00Speaker 3: Yeah, it was it like.
- 47:05Speaker 1: The challenges are all so pointless, like like in the UK,
- 47:11Speaker 1: like they would even they would be a little more
- 47:12Speaker 1: like like they would do ones where they would read
- 47:16Speaker 1: like a live tweet about somebody in the villa and
- 47:18Speaker 1: people would have to guess who it was. So it's
- 47:19Speaker 1: like a little bit more entertaining, like a little bit
- 47:21Speaker 1: more of like the islanders getting insight of like what
- 47:24Speaker 1: they were, what people think about them, or like what
- 47:26Speaker 1: people what what people are seeing versus like what they're experiencing,
- 47:30Speaker 1: do you know what I mean? So it's like that
- 47:32Speaker 1: type of stuff is like, but like watching them to
- 47:34Speaker 1: work on a runway and doing a limbo under a stick.
- 47:39Speaker 2: I think there was a cold store outbreak, so they
- 47:41Speaker 2: had to not do the kissing, so they were like,
- 47:43Speaker 2: what do you need a torque off? So they gotta
- 47:45Speaker 2: they gotta keep it a little raunchy, but like no
- 47:48Speaker 2: more kissing for tonight, like the Cold Store's eal. So yeah,
- 47:53Speaker 2: it's it's a social psychological experiment and it is so
- 47:59Speaker 2: fascinating that they have no idea how they're being perceived
- 48:02Speaker 2: from America while they're in it.
- 48:04Speaker 1: It's such a crazy that I think could have had
- 48:07Speaker 1: like this crazy one when all that stuff went down,
- 48:10Speaker 1: I think she was like, oh my gosh, people hate me.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I need to like change because I feel like her
- 48:14Speaker 1: attitude totally changed after that. She's trying to be more
- 48:17Speaker 1: like likable.
- 48:18Speaker 2: Oh. I think maybe it brought some awareness. But at
- 48:21Speaker 2: first I think she thought they didn't like Jeremiah for her,
- 48:25Speaker 2: Like she made a comment about, like, what are they
