  Speaker 1: championship games air on the network starting Wednesday morning at eleven,

  Speaker 1: that's how it is across the country. A lot of

  Speaker 1: those other regional sports networks, they're known as FanDuel Sports

  Speaker 1: Network wherever South or West or whatever. So there's that.

  Speaker 1: on Facebook Quinn is declared for the NFL. No, he's not.

  Speaker 1: against Uno. I think he'd probably be back for sure

  Speaker 1: well who've had limited action as reserves, mainly because they

  Speaker 1: been injured throughout the start of their collegiate careers. Devon

  Speaker 1: Pryor last year didn't get to play much and had

  Speaker 1: knee injury. He's back, he's healthy. He had ten points.

  Speaker 1: And then how about Nick Cody, highly rated freshman in

  Speaker 1: from Carroll toon Newman Smith. He had been injured and

  Speaker 1: in a slow return back, and he had twenty points

  Speaker 1: in the game, played really really well. So that was

  Speaker 1: all part of on the mind of Longhorn's head coach,

  Speaker 1: Rodney Terry when we visit with him after the game. Well,

  Speaker 1: decision to hold Tray out today, but even so just

  Speaker 1: to get other guys from work and a look at

  Speaker 1: other guys. You had eight guys scoring double figures today.

  Speaker 1: I know you look at more than just the scoring.

  Speaker 1: But what about your overall assessment of what you saw.

  Speaker 2: I thought we had really good energy and activity on defense.

  Speaker 2: I thought our guys came in and really tried to

  Speaker 2: go at hard. A lot of guys that got valuable.

  Speaker 2: Every minute's valuable right now, especially with our young guys

  Speaker 2: on and play, we have to have great habits. We

  Speaker 2: got to be able to do what we do. And

  Speaker 2: you know know we could hang our hat on starting

  Speaker 2: has the right way, sitting down garden and then just

  Speaker 2: taking care of the basketball and executing at a high level.

  Speaker 2: And I didn't think we were doing that the start,

  Speaker 1: I mentioned on the air, and one of the reasons

  Speaker 1: to talk about how long worn fans got a chance

  Speaker 1: to see what those guys win healthy, what they can

  Speaker 2: Yeah, no, young talent, young talented guys range. You still

  Speaker 2: gotta gotta get to build the bodies. He gets stronger,

  Speaker 2: but they're they have that potential, you know in terms

  Speaker 2: of you know, where they could be that those guys

  Speaker 2: have high center. Of those young players, you know, getting

  Speaker 2: a chance to play valuable minutes game meaningful times. I

  Speaker 2: think it's really good for those guys. They both got

  Speaker 2: an opportunity to do that today for us, and you know,

  Speaker 2: they practice really hard. Dp's back healthy now, which is

  Speaker 2: a big deal. You know, he had a really good summon,

  Speaker 2: a really good fall, but then he got injured and

  Speaker 2: he was out for about three weeks and it was
• 6:29
  Speaker 2: really hard for him. You know, with the may many

  Speaker 2: guys you played in the film, grade, you're gonna have

  Speaker 2: some new names come up in the in the evaluation.

  Speaker 1: I'm sure they're they're waiting waiting for that.

  Speaker 2: That's a good problem to have, you know, you want

  Speaker 2: you want to uh to have guys or reward guys

  Speaker 2: for how hard they work and the work they put in,

  Speaker 2: give them opportunities to to step in there and uh

  Speaker 2: and and you know, getting Bill your bench. I mean,

  Speaker 2: you never know, it's a long season and uh, everybody's

  Speaker 2: gonna have to be ready to play on any given night.

  Speaker 1: How about these next few days as you built back

  Speaker 1: up to where the New Orleans came on Thursday.

  Speaker 2: Well, guys, we're gonna give a chance to kind of

  Speaker 2: recover a little bit mentally and physically that they've had

  Speaker 2: a long week of finals and getting papers done and

  Speaker 2: getting through the academic part of everything. You know, next

  Speaker 2: week they'll have a chance a couple of days here

  Speaker 2: to finish out our non comferens late here before before

  Speaker 2: the break, you know, basketball, and just kind of focus

  Speaker 2: on continue to get better as a team before we

  Speaker 2: take like a five day break.
