  Speaker 1: go to God in prayer. I've got to admit, as

  Speaker 1: soon as I started hearing talks of government shut down,

  Speaker 1: it took me back to the last time the government
• 0:14
  Speaker 1: was shut down for what a month or two a man,
• 0:17
  Speaker 1: and I was thinking about my family members, my loved ones,
• 0:21
  Speaker 1: my friends who work for the government, and me knowing
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: how this shut down last time affected them. And here
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: we find ourselves there again. So I want to pray
• 0:32
  Speaker 1: for those affected by the government shut down. Heavenly Father,
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before you
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: today with heavy hearts, knowing that so many people are
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: hurting and uncertain because of this government shut down. Lord,
• 0:47
  Speaker 1: you see every family that is struggling, every worker that
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: has been furloughed, every household wondering how to make ends meet.

  Speaker 1: You see the stress, You see the fear, You see
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: the frustration, And God, we're grateful that you care. Your

  Speaker 1: word reminds us to cast our cares on you because
• 1:06
  Speaker 1: you care for us. So right now we lift up

  Speaker 1: every man, every woman, and every child impacted, asking you
• 1:13
  Speaker 1: to be their provider, their sustainer, and their peace in
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: the middle of this storm. Father, we pray for the leaders,
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: the lawmakers on both sides. You have placed them in
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: the position of authority, not to serve themselves, but to
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: serve the people. Soften their hearts. God, remove the pride,
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: remove the revenge, remove the selfish ambition, and replace it
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: with humility, compassion, and wisdom. Let them see beyond political
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: party lines and personal agendas, and let them remember the
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: citizens they were elected to serve. Lord, remind them that
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: leadership is stewardship, and one day they will give account
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: to you. God. We pray against the spirit of division
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: that is tearing at the fabric of our nation. Your

  Speaker 1: word tells us that a house divided against it self

  Speaker 1: cannot stand. So we ask in the mighty name of
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: Jesus that you heal the breach. Bind us together in unity,
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: Restore trust where there is suspicion, understanding, where there is hostility,

  Speaker 1: and dialogue where there is silence. Let your love and
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: righteousness roll down like waters in justice, like a mighty
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: stream in this land. Father, strengthen your people. Let this
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: crisis draw us closer to You and closer to one another.

  Speaker 1: Provide for every family that doesn't know how they're going
• 2:39
  Speaker 1: to pay their bills. Give peace to every parent worried
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: about their children. Let the church rise up in generosity
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: and compassion and in prayer during this time. Remind us
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: that through the systems of man, and though they may fail,
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: you never fail. You are still Jehovah Jira, You're still
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: our provider, you are still el Shade, the God Almighty.

  Speaker 1: And so we place this nation in your hands. We
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: place our leaders in your head. We place every family
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: impacted in your hands, and we ask that you bring resolution.
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: God you bring restoration, and God you bring revival. Out
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: of what the enemy meant or harm. We believe that
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: you're able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: we could ask, or think or even imagine. And we
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: declare that the peace of God, which passes all understanding,
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: will God our hearts and our minds. In Christ Jesus
