Christ Himself - A Daily Devotional · Apr 15, 2026 · 8m

For I will bring disaster on every living creature, declares the LORD, but wherever you go, I will grant your life as a spoil of war.” — Jeremiah 45:5The Lord's word to Baruch cuts through our ambition: seek great things for yourself? Don't. We follow a Savior who made Himself of no reputation, took the form of a servant, and humbled Himself to death on a cross. Learn from Him, for He is gentle and lowly in heart. Godliness with contentment is great gain.
