Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: Hi, my love, So welcome back to Vanity Farah. My
- 0:05Speaker 1: name is Chris Farrah, and today we are having a
- 0:08Speaker 1: very very fun little conversation about ninety day the single Life.
- 0:13Speaker 1: It's season five, episode four, the Act of Breaking Girl Code.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Now. I rewatched the Liz Slash Pedro conversation and it's like,
- 0:24Speaker 2: I feel there's two ways of looking at it, and
- 0:27Speaker 2: Julia almost feels that way too, and we'll get into it.
- 0:29Speaker 2: So how are you. I hope everyone is good. It's
- 0:33Speaker 2: been just.
- 0:34Speaker 1: A lot of TV watching on my end, Traders. Love
- 0:39Speaker 1: is blind. Honey, let's talk about niney day fiance before
- 0:43Speaker 1: the ninety days.
- 0:44Speaker 2: We've been doing it.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Obviously, there's fun new docu series come out, The Oscars
- 0:49Speaker 1: are happening. There's a lot of pop culture things to
- 0:53Speaker 1: take our mind off of what's happening in the world.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Hu's not great.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I don't even know how to talk about any of that.
- 1:01Speaker 1: So that's why I decided to throw myself into this podcast,
- 1:04Speaker 1: and I have been for the past couple of years.
- 1:06Speaker 1: It's been crazy, however, you know, holding space for all
- 1:08Speaker 1: of that that exists there, I God, bless it. I
- 1:11Speaker 1: don't know what to say However, here we're talking dumb
- 1:14Speaker 1: stuff and then some deep stuff.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Deep and dumb stuff.
- 1:17Speaker 1: So this is the single life, and certainly I know
- 1:21Speaker 1: that all too well, and so I'm.
- 1:22Speaker 2: A professional and I'm excited to talk to you about this.
- 1:26Speaker 2: And also I feel like, you.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Know, girl code, feminist theory, the political infrastructure of female friendships.
- 1:35Speaker 2: She knows a thing or two. We should we start
- 1:37Speaker 2: with them. It feels that way. Okay, here we are, honey, it's.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Really right now, the combined storyline of Pedro. It's obviously
- 1:45Speaker 1: Pedro and Sophie is one part of it, and also
- 1:48Speaker 1: maybe hot doctor, and then it's also Liz and Julia
- 1:53Speaker 1: just there for comedic relief, you know. But also I
- 1:56Speaker 1: really enjoyed Liz's kiss with Villa. So there's all that happening.
- 2:01Speaker 1: It's like, it feels like a little like Checkhovan style
- 2:06Speaker 1: mini play happening.
- 2:07Speaker 2: So here we are.
- 2:08Speaker 1: We start off on you know, Pedro gets to uh
- 2:11Speaker 1: or Pedro gets to I'm calling him like that. Pedro
- 2:14Speaker 1: gets to have a full on ninety day reunion.
- 2:19Speaker 2: With Nicole, and I'm excited about that, and so are you.
- 2:22Speaker 1: The thing about Pedro's family has always been here for TV.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Now here's the thing Sean tells too.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I mean that's what they got a whole as spin
- 2:30Speaker 1: off because I feel like production saw that, like people
- 2:33Speaker 1: would give like if they needed it, they would step up.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It's like having a first cast of a bunch of
- 2:39Speaker 1: Meryl Streeps of reality TV drama.
- 2:42Speaker 2: It's like they're gonna go physical, They're gonna scream. There's
- 2:45Speaker 2: drama there. They hate each other, they don't give a fuck,
- 2:47Speaker 2: you know, it's all that there.
- 2:48Speaker 1: There's like a lot of toxicity and like here's a thing.
- 2:50Speaker 1: If you scream on camera with your family, I don't
- 2:53Speaker 1: even know how.
- 2:54Speaker 2: You assume you're going to get past that.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Like Season one of Sean tell is like should have
- 3:02Speaker 1: been the end of their marriage. Like you know, like
- 3:05Speaker 1: for for all intents and purposes, once that shit happens,
- 3:11Speaker 1: there's no coming back.
- 3:13Speaker 2: There's just no coming there's not coming back.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I mean, you know, put a work in them, so
- 3:18Speaker 1: and the you know, they battled a little longer than that.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So he's like, I don't have to do with that, Sophie, Honey,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I've been putting it out there and then Liz told
- 3:26Speaker 1: me to like kind of back off.
- 3:27Speaker 2: And also she's healing.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Also like maybe she's not ready, and also like I'm dumb,
- 3:32Speaker 1: also like.
- 3:33Speaker 2: I don't feel like Liz did.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I feel like Liz was like, Okay, she knew in
- 3:37Speaker 1: her heart of hearts that two things were three things
- 3:40Speaker 1: were true. Sophie was getting a mild ick from Pedro
- 3:45Speaker 1: doing too much, and the fact that she also wasn't
- 3:54Speaker 1: one hundred percent into him as much as she really
- 3:58Speaker 1: loves male attention and for a period of time he
- 4:03Speaker 1: was giving that to her. He's a good looking guy,
- 4:06Speaker 1: and oh the coincidence of the fuck they've just happened
- 4:10Speaker 1: to be a nine at a fiance was just, you know,
- 4:12Speaker 1: I guess overwhelming for them. So I think that she
- 4:16Speaker 1: Liz was like, well, I don't care about him. I
- 4:18Speaker 1: care about her. But that is the truth. Those things
- 4:20Speaker 1: are the truth. So with him, I'm just gonna be like, yeah, buddy,
- 4:25Speaker 1: like listen, no, she likes you. She's just you know,
- 4:27Speaker 1: she's just she's still healing, she's still doing it. So
- 4:32Speaker 1: just be a little patient with her, Just be a
- 4:34Speaker 1: little like slow with her so she gets on the
- 4:36Speaker 1: same page with you, because you know, like I think
- 4:39Speaker 1: this is a good thing. It's just that you you know,
- 4:41Speaker 1: don't be mad at her for not being a hound,
- 4:43Speaker 1: do percent like salivating because she's gone through this kind
- 4:48Speaker 1: of stuff, Like to me, that's what Liz meant, and
- 4:51Speaker 1: that's not at all how it was portrayed when you know,
- 4:54Speaker 1: Sophie heard it and obviously later on. Okay, so here
- 4:57Speaker 1: we are, so before I get there, obviously, So so
- 5:00Speaker 1: we get to see Nicole, and Nicole is wearing this
- 5:03Speaker 1: like green flowy ass beautiful number.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Honey.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It's so cute. It has this like wrap around that
- 5:09Speaker 1: goes through the titties. The titties look great. And she
- 5:11Speaker 1: has what maybe is like a sheetsa her laps of apps.
- 5:14Speaker 1: So she rolls up with these like Chloe seventies glasses.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Or like squares.
- 5:18Speaker 1: She looks great, I know, keep saying that the braces
- 5:22Speaker 1: are off, honey.
- 5:22Speaker 2: She and she's also a beautiful.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Girl who you know, a woman now you know we've
- 5:28Speaker 1: seen grow up or whatever. Listen, is she dramatic and
- 5:30Speaker 1: is she like over the top and is she like
- 5:32Speaker 1: wildly screamy?
- 5:33Speaker 2: Of course of course, But I just really feel like.
- 5:41Speaker 1: She signed up and understood the assignment, you know what
- 5:45Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like she so anyway, listen, they show us
- 5:49Speaker 1: her before and we're like oh yeah, oh yeah. And
- 5:51Speaker 1: so we see her again, we're like, oh god, bless
- 5:53Speaker 1: you know. So then Pedro's like okay, let's like go
- 5:57Speaker 1: hang out, and he's like, do you want to take
- 5:59Speaker 1: her for a walk because she's like, this is my
- 6:01Speaker 1: new dog's soul. And Nichole's like, oh no, no, no, no,
- 6:06Speaker 1: she doesn't like to walk. And the way that soul
- 6:11Speaker 1: gives a back glance like not ever, you do not
- 6:15Speaker 1: put me on this floor. These paws don't touch gravel.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm a carrying dog. I'm a princess, like you hold me.
- 6:21Speaker 1: And so Liz like this is what's funny. Then she
- 6:23Speaker 1: gives Pedro the dog. Pedro tries to walk the dog.
- 6:28Speaker 1: The dog is like, pick me up.
- 6:32Speaker 2: So then.
- 6:35Speaker 1: It's just like this dog is great and she hate it.
- 6:38Speaker 1: She hate walking. Oh no, she doesn't like to she
- 6:43Speaker 1: hate it. I mean I like walking, but that dog
- 6:46Speaker 1: does not. Oh what a little princess. What a little
- 6:49Speaker 1: poofy princess. And also like Nicole, good for you. There
- 6:52Speaker 1: is something about I think there's something about a girl
- 6:55Speaker 1: like that getting a poofy princess dog and maybe this
- 6:57Speaker 1: is also me projecting on it in that you've owe
- 7:00Speaker 1: always wanted to be treated like a princess and you
- 7:03Speaker 1: can't get it one hundred percent for yourself, but there
- 7:06Speaker 1: is the healing process of doing that for someone else
- 7:09Speaker 1: that you get to make a little pretty princess. It's like, okay, fine,
- 7:12Speaker 1: if I can't do it, you can. You'll have everything
- 7:15Speaker 1: my daughter, so anyway, uh and it's like safer than
- 7:21Speaker 1: kids to do that too, you know, just putting it
- 7:25Speaker 1: out there. Okay, So basically Nicole comes with a whole
- 7:29Speaker 1: bunch of wisdom, not just like a beautiful green suit.
- 7:32Speaker 1: You know. She's like, listen, you've been telling me about
- 7:36Speaker 1: Sophie and she seems real young. Hell is she in
- 7:39Speaker 1: like twenty six? She's like, oh, she's a little girl.
- 7:40Speaker 1: She's really immature. She's not a woman. You need a woman.
- 7:45Speaker 1: She doesn't know what she wants and confused people hurt people.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Here's the thing, brother, And I've seen it before with
- 7:54Speaker 1: you because you fall hard and I don't want to
- 7:56Speaker 1: see it again. But you are just at this point
- 7:59Speaker 1: collateral damage. And she's right, She's right, She's not wrong.
- 8:05Speaker 2: He is. Sophie is always like made it.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I feel like there's no part of Sophie that's like,
- 8:10Speaker 1: this is my husband or I I'm going to treat
- 8:12Speaker 1: him like I think that he's special or that, you know,
- 8:14Speaker 1: I think that I'm lucky to be with him, not
- 8:16Speaker 1: one part of that. And I do think that maybe
- 8:18Speaker 1: there's a nice feeling that one gets when someone meets
- 8:24Speaker 1: them and it has interacted with them and considers themselves
- 8:30Speaker 1: lucky to have the opportunity to And by lucky, it's
- 8:35Speaker 1: not so much like I'm better than you, not so
- 8:38Speaker 1: much like this person is so much better than me
- 8:40Speaker 1: that I should be lucky to talk with this person.
- 8:43Speaker 1: It's more so like in this world, I would like
- 8:47Speaker 1: to find companionship and love, and oh, look, I have
- 8:52Speaker 1: a burgeoning connection with someone that I find attractive. And
- 8:58Speaker 1: you know, just say whatever they attracted and you could
- 9:01Speaker 1: say physical, mental, lifestyle, attraction, all of it, you know, religious, whatever.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Let's just say you to me, if you do want
- 9:12Speaker 1: a relationship and you happen to find someone who's checking
- 9:15Speaker 1: a lot of boxes in a real way, like why
- 9:18Speaker 1: wouldn't you put like truthful energy into pursuing them unless
- 9:26Speaker 1: you're not and unless you don't like them like if
- 9:28Speaker 1: you are like whatever, I just want attention, or they're
- 9:31Speaker 1: checking a couple of boxes, or I know intrinsically some
- 9:34Speaker 1: part of me that they're not for me. But I
- 9:37Speaker 1: want to waste their time or I want to waste
- 9:40Speaker 1: their like you know, money, or I want to waste
- 9:42Speaker 1: their energy, or I want you know, whoever knows I
- 9:45Speaker 1: want to waste their you know, I want to have
- 9:46Speaker 1: sex with them, but I don't really care about them,
- 9:48Speaker 1: like you know, then you will drag someone along and
- 9:52Speaker 1: you will you know, energetically not be giving, right, But
- 9:59Speaker 1: I think that, Yeah, I guess I don't understand other
- 10:03Speaker 1: than you being like no, Sometimes people just need a
- 10:05Speaker 1: lot of patience and you have to be there and
- 10:07Speaker 1: mold them like a diamond, you know, and under pressure
- 10:08Speaker 1: they just start to like crumble, and then you have
- 10:11Speaker 1: to like wear them down and then they become, you know,
- 10:14Speaker 1: like a sad version of what they were, and then
- 10:17Speaker 1: you can be with that sad, settled version like.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Oh okay, oh horrible.
- 10:24Speaker 1: So all that to say, I don't think that Sophie's
- 10:26Speaker 1: into you know, him, and I feel like Nicole knows that,
- 10:28Speaker 1: and that's basically what she's telling her brother, and she's
- 10:30Speaker 1: right and good for her, you know, because the cook
- 10:33Speaker 1: at her. Liz, however, is having like the romantic date
- 10:36Speaker 1: that everyone wishes they would have, and she's having it.
- 10:39Speaker 2: So I'm so happy for Liz. You know.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Liz is like obviously going through a little fuck, I
- 10:43Speaker 1: mean on a little a health crisis. It's fucking cancer,
- 10:45Speaker 1: It's not little, but it sucks for her, and so
- 10:48Speaker 1: this has been her kind of like girls trip that's
- 10:51Speaker 1: also of course being sponsored by none of the Fiance,
- 10:53Speaker 1: which also is just mildly weird because we knew that
- 10:55Speaker 1: she wasn't really good friends with Sophie and almost immediately
- 10:57Speaker 1: now Sophie and her at odds and it makes me
- 10:59Speaker 1: feel like shitty because I like, you know, like no,
- 11:02Speaker 1: there's no reason to not like Liz and Sophie. It
- 11:06Speaker 1: has good and bad qualities. Like Liz's bad qualities is
- 11:11Speaker 1: that she was with Ed and we were like gross,
- 11:14Speaker 1: you know, and also why and also like why and gross,
- 11:18Speaker 1: you know, And the Sophie's bad qualities is that we
- 11:22Speaker 1: don't know why she makes decisions as well, but like
- 11:25Speaker 1: we sometimes think that she manipulates and or like isn't
- 11:34Speaker 1: honest about things because for the thing about Sophie that's
- 11:37Speaker 1: hard to sometimes deal with is this Sophie had a
- 11:42Speaker 1: moment where she was like, I am I'm by and
- 11:47Speaker 1: I'm going to have to tell Rob who I'm with,
- 11:50Speaker 1: and I like, am scared about it or whatever.
- 11:52Speaker 2: I don't want to take it. And she does.
- 11:54Speaker 1: She's like I'm by and he like takes it whatever.
- 11:56Speaker 1: God bless and then later on tell all she likes
- 12:00Speaker 1: sexually kinkly shames him. Now back and forth between her
- 12:04Speaker 1: and Rob had been like abuse, weird videos and allegations,
- 12:07Speaker 1: like you know, Claire had like put up like videos
- 12:09Speaker 1: of like him yelling at her, but like who knows.
- 12:11Speaker 2: What and all that. But yeah, like if I was
- 12:14Speaker 2: just to isolate the.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Thought process of like being like fuck Rob, he had
- 12:20Speaker 1: a you know, dick pic sending her send out to
- 12:23Speaker 1: people and she's by.
- 12:24Speaker 2: It's just that sucks. And here's the thing.
- 12:26Speaker 1: My good friend, you know, Kiirsa, brought this up to
- 12:28Speaker 1: me again and I was like, yeah, that was really
- 12:30Speaker 1: really shitty. Like she's young, and she obviously comes this
- 12:34Speaker 1: is Sophie talking. My friend Curris is also young. But
- 12:36Speaker 1: you know, I'm going back and forth. My friend Kissa,
- 12:37Speaker 1: who I talked about on.
- 12:40Speaker 2: The episode.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Before the ninety Days because I just got my hair done.
- 12:45Speaker 1: We talked about and fiance, so shut out both both apps.
- 12:49Speaker 1: She brought this up, and yeah, I remember it happening.
- 12:52Speaker 1: And Rob has been on the franchise, you know, obviously
- 12:57Speaker 1: since went on Hunt for Love and whatnot, and they
- 12:59Speaker 1: were on Last Resorts, So the franchise is holding on
- 13:02Speaker 1: to Rob. So the abuse stuff probably didn't pan out
- 13:05Speaker 1: as what I'm assuming because they have lawyers and such,
- 13:09Speaker 1: or she renegtied or whatnot, or because she got back
- 13:12Speaker 1: together with him and so they were still whatever and
- 13:14Speaker 1: I was messy. I mean, that's what I'm assuming.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Claire is nowhere to be found. She's she now I'm saying.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Sophie is young, and what we know about her been
- 13:25Speaker 1: through some trauma, right, Like, obviously Claire's face and voice
- 13:29Speaker 1: and demeanor is indicative of the fact that anyone who
- 13:32Speaker 1: had to be raised with her probably saw some shit,
- 13:35Speaker 1: smelled some shit, dealt with some absolute fucking nightmarish bullshit,
- 13:42Speaker 1: and Sophie could be, you know, probably worse off than
- 13:49Speaker 1: she is. Like, she's doing quite well for herself, and
- 13:51Speaker 1: certainly I'm happy for her, and she's definitely attractive and
- 13:55Speaker 1: certainly in certain you know, like Instagram batty ways, and like,
- 13:59Speaker 1: you know, just like as a I would love her
- 14:01Speaker 1: to probably feel a little more like confidence in herself.
- 14:03Speaker 1: And I know that in some earlier seasons she was
- 14:06Speaker 1: like insecure about some things and they really ripped her
- 14:08Speaker 1: apart about her hair and stuff like that. And you know,
- 14:11Speaker 1: Sophie is always been a beautiful woman, and so sometimes
- 14:15Speaker 1: we're like, oh, girl, like you're gonna have to find
- 14:20Speaker 1: happiness and like peace and joy in someplace that isn't
- 14:23Speaker 1: male attention and isn't like the way that you look
- 14:26Speaker 1: and or like perfecting the way that you look like
- 14:29Speaker 1: to make people give you.
- 14:30Speaker 2: More of that.
- 14:31Speaker 1: And you know what, it's a real shitty thing, and
- 14:34Speaker 1: it's a bad lesson to learn. And here's the thing.
- 14:36Speaker 1: It's like a drug. You know, like anything is either
- 14:39Speaker 1: attention or perfection or like plastic surgery or you know,
- 14:43Speaker 1: like being addicted to looking hot or getting in validation
- 14:46Speaker 1: or likes or even social media like all of that
- 14:48Speaker 1: is like the ways in which we get validation is
- 14:51Speaker 1: drug like inducing. And so no shame stuff the only one,
- 14:54Speaker 1: of course, But I would enjoy this conversation about how
- 15:01Speaker 1: to hold on feet first into self confidence strength that
- 15:09Speaker 1: isn't you know, necessarily from outside sources. And I feel
- 15:16Speaker 1: like if there was maybe concrete structures to learn and
- 15:20Speaker 1: feel these things, like I don't know if it's like
- 15:22Speaker 1: a version of like somatic and theory where you really
- 15:25Speaker 1: I don't know where you really get to, like I'm sorry,
- 15:29Speaker 1: where you really get to like deep dive into how
- 15:31Speaker 1: to feel these things and how to manifest them in yourself,
- 15:34Speaker 1: like so that you don't go to bad behaviors. I mean,
- 15:38Speaker 1: I'm assuming it's like some sort of meditation and some
- 15:40Speaker 1: sort of like list of people in places and things
- 15:43Speaker 1: that make you feel truly yourself.
- 15:45Speaker 2: And it could be like.
- 15:48Speaker 1: For me, okay, for me like nature, you know, and
- 15:51Speaker 1: like some things are attainable all the time, and some
- 15:53Speaker 1: things are only like attainable usually in my mind or
- 15:55Speaker 1: unless I'm given like twenty thousand dollars to go there,
- 15:58Speaker 1: like I love min Nola Falls in Oha who in Hawaii.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I can't always go there, but the thought of going there,
- 16:03Speaker 1: and because I've been there like twice, I can like
- 16:05Speaker 1: sort of envision it, so can you. It's basically Jurassic Park. Okay, right,
- 16:09Speaker 1: I also love Jenny Lake. I have only been there once.
- 16:11Speaker 1: It's like basically in the Grand Tetons. It's so beautiful,
- 16:14Speaker 1: like in America. It's like where Yellowstone is kind of
- 16:16Speaker 1: outside and beautiful lake corteous trees. I can sort of like,
- 16:20Speaker 1: even though I've been there once, somewhat feel like the
- 16:23Speaker 1: crispness in the air and the way that those pine
- 16:26Speaker 1: trees smell. Different from Manilla Falls. Both places like wildly beautiful.
- 16:30Speaker 1: The other place and these are all my nature places
- 16:32Speaker 1: is like I went to a waterfall. I went chasing
- 16:35Speaker 1: waterfalls lol in Idaho, and for some reason, definitely being
- 16:39Speaker 1: like next to a roaring, rushing body of water like
- 16:43Speaker 1: a waterfall does something to me.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Makes me feel so good.
- 16:46Speaker 1: It makes me feel like powerful in a way like
- 16:50Speaker 1: the power that I get. Sorry, I'll finis sense. It
- 16:52Speaker 1: makes me feel powerful in a way that is better
- 16:56Speaker 1: and more sustainable than, for instance, the power one can
- 17:02Speaker 1: feel walking into a room looking hot as fuck and
- 17:08Speaker 1: then having people look at them, or having like your
- 17:12Speaker 1: intended suitor. This is the people that you want to
- 17:18Speaker 1: look at you, if not the entire room look at you,
- 17:20Speaker 1: and give you the various reactions, you know, like whether
- 17:23Speaker 1: they want to come talk to you, fuck you, be you,
- 17:27Speaker 1: be somewhat jealous of you, like, you know, whatever it is,
- 17:31Speaker 1: the water is just gonna like be there, hopefully as
- 17:34Speaker 1: long as humans don't fuck it up. And the other
- 17:36Speaker 1: truth is you can probably find other waterfalls. But like
- 17:40Speaker 1: if you are always like I want to walk into
- 17:43Speaker 1: bars with my titties out and like for my lips
- 17:47Speaker 1: to be popping with like lip gloss and for men
- 17:49Speaker 1: to be like hard penising right in front of my presence,
- 17:54Speaker 1: there might just be a time when that doesn't happen
- 17:57Speaker 1: as much as you you remember it, And even if
- 18:02Speaker 1: it does happen with a couple of guys, you aren't
- 18:04Speaker 1: gonna even feel it because it'll be a little less
- 18:07Speaker 1: than when at one point it was like all the time.
- 18:11Speaker 1: And it might even just be a different situation or
- 18:14Speaker 1: a different city. But the like adherence to other people's
- 18:19Speaker 1: approval of you is just so fucking fleeting.
- 18:22Speaker 2: It just is. And so it's just I'm gonna stop
- 18:25Speaker 2: talking about this.
- 18:27Speaker 1: But it's like, if we're going to talk about this
- 18:29Speaker 1: dumb show, might as well like related to things, because
- 18:34Speaker 1: like I get liking attention. It's great. It's nice, isn't it.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Like it's nice to like be considered attractive, or it's
- 18:43Speaker 1: nice to feel sexy, or it's nice to feel wanted,
- 18:45Speaker 1: you know. And I've never even felt it to the
- 18:48Speaker 1: to the degree of someone who performs sexuality, infeminity or
- 18:52Speaker 1: hotness or I'm not as hot as like someone like Sophie,
- 18:55Speaker 1: so like I truly I can't imagine the drug it is.
- 18:57Speaker 1: All I'm saying is that I definitely have known hot women,
- 19:02Speaker 1: and I definitely know that like certain things, you know,
- 19:04Speaker 1: like ebb and flow of of whatnot. And also it's
- 19:08Speaker 1: not so much that like, oh no, it ebbs and
- 19:10Speaker 1: flows people's opinion of you and therefore change. It's like
- 19:14Speaker 1: because at the very basic level, you are doing yourself
- 19:19Speaker 1: an injustice, like you are only shooting yourself in the foot.
- 19:24Speaker 1: You are only setting yourself up for a disaster. It's
- 19:27Speaker 1: as if you were only you know, making money, and
- 19:31Speaker 1: just you, you would never make a dollar into two dollars,
- 19:36Speaker 1: two dollars and a four dollars, four dollars into a
- 19:38Speaker 1: million and then a million, you know, keep going a
- 19:39Speaker 1: million into a billion and then just keep betting one
- 19:43Speaker 1: all of your money on you know, oh six black.
- 19:47Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, because no investor would you
- 19:53Speaker 1: would make an investor be like, yeah, make as much
- 19:55Speaker 1: money as you can on something, and then start to
- 19:57Speaker 1: diversify your portfolio. You know, once you have a million dollars,
- 20:01Speaker 1: start putting money on the reds, or start putting money
- 20:04Speaker 1: on different black numbers, or play a different game as well.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Have multiple things going, you know, like, don't be getting
- 20:10Speaker 1: all your validation, all your winnings, all of your approval,
- 20:13Speaker 1: all of your treasure from this one thing.
- 20:15Speaker 2: It would make no sense.
- 20:16Speaker 1: No one would ever tell you that it's just a
- 20:18Speaker 1: fool's paradise for you to fucking be miserable. And also
- 20:22Speaker 1: this is a financial metaphor broke at some point, you know,
- 20:25Speaker 1: like because you can't always get it. It's statistically impossible
- 20:31Speaker 1: to always win at one thing, and that's difficult for people, corporations, businesses,
- 20:37Speaker 1: you know, to learn sometimes because.
- 20:41Speaker 2: There's a beautiful.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Stability and like adhering to your own value system and
- 20:48Speaker 1: culture while having a flexibility and an acceptance of change
- 20:54Speaker 1: in progress.
- 20:55Speaker 2: That is why you have to be the type of.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Person that value investment I've your portfolios, and that is
- 21:02Speaker 1: why you can't have all of your validation from one
- 21:05Speaker 1: thing in life. So I don't even have to like,
- 21:07Speaker 1: I will stop talking about this, but doesn't have to
- 21:09Speaker 1: be looks like you can't just like be the best
- 21:11Speaker 1: painter and then never do anything else in your life
- 21:14Speaker 1: and then only be happy if someone likes your paints,
- 21:16Speaker 1: your paintings, because at some point one person's be.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Like, I don't fucking like that.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Now we're in the blues, Now we're into like people
- 21:23Speaker 1: made out of fairies, you know, and then that's just
- 21:25Speaker 1: the weird trend. And now you're what You're not good
- 21:28Speaker 1: obviously you are just okay, please Liz. So Liz goes
- 21:35Speaker 1: on a kayak date and one of the first things
- 21:37Speaker 1: that happens that she shows up this date and she
- 21:39Speaker 1: has like, you know, like no makeup on. She looks
- 21:42Speaker 1: fresh as fuck and she looks beautiful, and Villa's there
- 21:45Speaker 1: and it's like, yeah, I got you some shoes, and
- 21:46Speaker 1: she's like, oh, I I even know you needed shoes.
- 21:49Speaker 1: He's like, I know, I know you didn't know. Well
- 21:52Speaker 1: that's why I got you shoes, you know. And I
- 21:55Speaker 1: think there was like a whole part of me, and
- 21:56Speaker 1: I was like, oh, it's cute, good for you.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Nice.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Also, yeah, you do need water shoes for some reason.
- 22:04Speaker 1: If you don't think you'd if you're going to go
- 22:06Speaker 1: to any sort of like tropical place and want to
- 22:08Speaker 1: do something anything, and even if you like have never
- 22:12Speaker 1: considered it, get water shoes. And they make water socks,
- 22:16Speaker 1: and both things are fucking great. You really can't go wrong.
- 22:19Speaker 2: I love them. Okay.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Water socks are basically hospital socks. Okay, they had the grippies.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 22:25Speaker 1: So she's like in this kayak with her grippy socks,
- 22:28Speaker 1: you know, her grippy shoes, and she's like living her
- 22:30Speaker 1: life and it's like really nice. And he's strong and
- 22:33Speaker 1: he's paddling behind her like he's like, let's go at it.
- 22:36Speaker 2: She's like, okay, you're wild.
- 22:38Speaker 1: You know, here's the thing you have to like somewhat kayak.
- 22:40Speaker 1: At the same time, she's like, well, calm down, and
- 22:42Speaker 1: she's like this is different because ED just liked the
- 22:44Speaker 1: finer things in life, steak red wine. I was like, well,
- 22:48Speaker 1: I like a little bit of fucking both girls. She's
- 22:50Speaker 1: like he was like cappuccinos and then we'd come home
- 22:52Speaker 1: and have nightcaps. First of all, Yeah, was that your
- 22:58Speaker 1: like low key way of like trying to like pump
- 23:00Speaker 1: up Ed as like a date like you're supposed to
- 23:02Speaker 1: be like ed Ed such a fucking big spender. I
- 23:06Speaker 1: mean maybe because that's how he tries to keep someone younger.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I don't know. Yeah, I think I need a little
- 23:14Speaker 1: bit of both. Like I want I'm a high low girl, period,
- 23:18Speaker 1: and I would say that there's probably a more high
- 23:21Speaker 1: than lows, you know, that would say of like what
- 23:24Speaker 1: I like.
- 23:25Speaker 2: But at the same time, I like a sort of.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Casual comfortness that comes to like something done well and.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Like, you know, with quality, is what I would say.
- 23:37Speaker 2: So yeah, like I love nights in.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I love like cooking nights, you know, I love like
- 23:40Speaker 1: rustic dinners, and I love you know, as I said, nature, shit,
- 23:44Speaker 1: I just got to tell him telling you how much
- 23:45Speaker 1: I just like would chase water fallows the rest of
- 23:47Speaker 1: my life. But you know, everyone also wants a glass
- 23:49Speaker 1: of like French Bordeaux and like a steak that is
- 23:53Speaker 1: like charting the outside medium rare on the inside, you
- 23:56Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Like there's a Brene sauce it's
- 23:58Speaker 1: on the side because the meat is like, the meat
- 24:01Speaker 1: is so well cooked that you have both salt and
- 24:05Speaker 1: pepper is only probably what it needs. But it does
- 24:07Speaker 1: have a little butter and it does have a little
- 24:09Speaker 1: brine sauce on the side, Like I said, anyway, and
- 24:12Speaker 1: there's just like a patcha crime at the end.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Whatever, Goupless. It's butterscotch, but like you do you Okay,
- 24:17Speaker 2: maybe it's vegan, but like it's gluten free.
- 24:20Speaker 1: You know. Again, this is my fantasy. They have a
- 24:24Speaker 1: fun time and then they start to kiss and it's
- 24:27Speaker 1: unexpected and it's super cute and she's shivering and it's
- 24:30Speaker 1: like adorable and.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I like it.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And then this is the first scene where I'm like, oh,
- 24:35Speaker 1: you know what, I like the single life. Yeah, for
- 24:38Speaker 1: some reason out of all of this, because like even
- 24:40Speaker 1: in this episode, I'm not watching any of this being like,
- 24:43Speaker 1: oh wow, what a meat great I mean a meat
- 24:45Speaker 1: cute or whatever. I kind of enjoy Kimberly meeting Joe later,
- 24:49Speaker 1: but you know, it doesn't feel maybe as like advanced
- 24:52Speaker 1: or whatever. So in this single life moment, I'm like, oh,
- 24:54Speaker 1: this this kiss is cute and it's warranted. So then
- 24:58Speaker 1: we get also the fact that she afraid to talk
- 25:00Speaker 1: to him about the cancer. God bless. And she had
- 25:02Speaker 1: just little been like I just want to meet someone
- 25:04Speaker 1: and hook up, and like now it's Noah's name, and
- 25:06Speaker 1: now she's like, oh shit, I got I like him
- 25:08Speaker 1: a lot and I got tumim my cancer.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Girl. That's hard out there.
- 25:13Speaker 1: So then Julia and Sophie go uh to a bar
- 25:18Speaker 1: and get a drink. And this is what's interesting, Like
- 25:20Speaker 1: Liz knows she has to meet them later, she knows
- 25:22Speaker 1: a bar to go to later. But at this point,
- 25:24Speaker 1: also Sophie has like gone for twenty four hours talking
- 25:27Speaker 1: shit about Liz to Julia, the only other girl there, like.
- 25:30Speaker 2: It's just them too, and so it's like this is
- 25:33Speaker 2: shitty for Liz.
- 25:37Speaker 1: So anyway, but Liz is a little late, you know,
- 25:39Speaker 1: God bless. She's like still shaking, she's still shivering and
- 25:43Speaker 1: shaken nervousness with that kiss. She's really into it, and
- 25:45Speaker 1: God bless. Meanwhile, I mean, Julia is like a companion,
- 25:50Speaker 1: mean girl.
- 25:50Speaker 2: In this moment.
- 25:51Speaker 1: So Sophie's there and she's like, I just want to
- 25:55Speaker 1: like forget about Pedro because listen, he forgot about me.
- 25:58Speaker 1: He's pretty much and so now I'm into him, and
- 26:01Speaker 1: now I'm like upset. So I just want to be
- 26:03Speaker 1: here and get some like other what is it that
- 26:05Speaker 1: I love male attention? I mean, good for her? Like
- 26:10Speaker 1: Sophie's just like literally all I have to do is
- 26:12Speaker 1: just walk out stand on a bar.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I want it. She doesn't have to say it, she
- 26:17Speaker 2: just says it internally.
- 26:19Speaker 1: And then she looks over and like while Julia's talking
- 26:22Speaker 1: like blah blah blah blah blah, she like makes eye
- 26:24Speaker 1: contact with some dude. She's like you, she looks back.
- 26:29Speaker 1: That guy comes immediately comes over. He's like, I'm sorry,
- 26:31Speaker 1: shut up, Julia, Hi, shut up?
- 26:35Speaker 2: Who are you? Hi?
- 26:37Speaker 1: I'm a doctor and you look like you were? Indeed,
- 26:41Speaker 1: I don't know, Like that's basically what happens. It's a
- 26:43Speaker 1: version of that, now is it? I don't know at all?
- 26:49Speaker 1: Produced is this real? Is he a doctor? Did he
- 26:53Speaker 1: sign a release for him to have his image on
- 26:56Speaker 1: the TV? I don't want to ruin it for you,
- 26:59Speaker 1: but I also want you to just like consider all possibilities.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, So then sorry, I don't okay.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Basically, Liz then comes and you know, fucking Sophie just
- 27:12Speaker 1: gives her a goddamn me and eye and she's like, listen,
- 27:16Speaker 1: hot doc, do you want to go to the other
- 27:17Speaker 1: side of the bar. This is where it gets weird
- 27:19Speaker 1: as fuck to this is why I all still thinks
- 27:20Speaker 1: it's produced. So then Liz is like okay, and a
- 27:23Speaker 1: confessional is like Sophie's weird. And then suddenly Julia's like,
- 27:27Speaker 1: you know, doctor, I can't do her weird as sacs,
- 27:29Speaker 1: and she's like, just sit there for a second.
- 27:32Speaker 2: We have to have girl talk. And then all the
- 27:33Speaker 2: girls go sit at a table and.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Then you know, they talk about the fact that some
- 27:38Speaker 1: dude is making them fight.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Did you hear what I said?
- 27:44Speaker 1: Three grown ass women on vacation at a bar where
- 27:47Speaker 1: they all look caught and there's yummy drinks, all have
- 27:50Speaker 1: to sit at a table and fight.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Over some stupid dude.
- 27:57Speaker 1: That's why it's like not girl code or whatever. Like
- 27:59Speaker 1: the true one of the matter is if Sophie was
- 28:02Speaker 1: giving the vibes that like she was into you know, him,
- 28:06Speaker 1: and like it was all working out or whatever, then
- 28:08Speaker 1: like surely none of this would have happened. But because
- 28:11Speaker 1: there was awkwardness, now she really does want to as
- 28:13Speaker 1: Liz says, use Liz as like escapegoat for her relationship
- 28:22Speaker 1: being on rocky ground.
- 28:25Speaker 2: I'm team Liz.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Because I also just feel like Liz just wants to
- 28:31Speaker 1: have fun with the girls, like so like sort of
- 28:33Speaker 1: like Julia does, like except that Julia is closer to
- 28:36Speaker 1: Sophie and so like Julia feels again with the loyalty
- 28:39Speaker 1: pressure and look, and the thing about it is Sophie
- 28:42Speaker 1: and Julia are funny and cute together, like, and I
- 28:45Speaker 1: feel like Liz could be as too. Like it makes
- 28:47Speaker 1: me sad when Sophie isn't secure enough in herself and
- 28:51Speaker 1: doesn't have the emotional maturity to like be able to
- 28:55Speaker 1: show us the fun parts of her and her life
- 28:58Speaker 1: on camera without us being like.
- 29:04Speaker 2: You're kind of.
- 29:06Speaker 1: You're a little want wah as a personality. You're just
- 29:09Speaker 1: you can't like hang your hat on Sophie. She's just
- 29:11Speaker 1: gonna like ruin things kind of, That's what it feels like.
- 29:14Speaker 1: It feels like she has a propensity to be great,
- 29:16Speaker 1: except she like ruins shit with her own life and
- 29:18Speaker 1: then she like doesn't want to take an accountability for it,
- 29:21Speaker 1: and she never changes, and she has a soft voice
- 29:25Speaker 1: and she's cute, and so that beguiles and we also
- 29:27Speaker 1: know her trauma, the fact that she also might just
- 29:30Speaker 1: be a vapid, mean girl that knows she's hot and
- 29:35Speaker 1: wields that power, you know, and because she is, like
- 29:39Speaker 1: I said, but that's why I gave that whole fucking lecture, because.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I'm happy for her.
- 29:45Speaker 1: There's a lot of lovely women out there that are young,
- 29:48Speaker 1: that are hot, and so like, please just diversify your portfolios.
- 29:53Speaker 1: And yeah, it's not just money, although truly make money.
- 29:56Speaker 1: It's really the way, like the ways and.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Fountains in which you like feel good about yourself and
- 30:01Speaker 2: you just know how to always get it, hit it
- 30:04Speaker 2: if things are down, you like know like this is
- 30:07Speaker 2: a way I can create to this, I can make this,
- 30:10Speaker 2: I can you know, whatever it is, touch waterfalls.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Okay, So the other thing about Sophie is when Sophie
- 30:16Speaker 1: speaks Spanish, was she so good?
- 30:18Speaker 2: We're like, see that's cute.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Too, God, Like, it'd be cute if you were just
- 30:23Speaker 1: watching you flirt with if okay, if I got to
- 30:26Speaker 1: just watch this be a single girl's trip where none
- 30:29Speaker 1: of the girls fought over any guys because they were
- 30:32Speaker 1: all single, but they all had found different guys, Like
- 30:35Speaker 1: Julia's just there anyway, God bless, She's not gonna be
- 30:36Speaker 1: a funny guys. But like if they had found their
- 30:39Speaker 1: own dudes and they were just living their lives and
- 30:41Speaker 1: come together and be super cute and also like have
- 30:43Speaker 1: fun kikying about things, it.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Would be adorable to watch.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Like I want to see Liz and Sophie get the
- 30:51Speaker 1: little tipsy together and like Sophie speak you know, Spanish,
- 30:55Speaker 1: and she's like pretty good, you know, like when I
- 30:57Speaker 1: say pretty good, so I'm sure she says she's not
- 30:59Speaker 1: fluent and I'm not saying is, but you know, like
- 31:01Speaker 1: she speaks a passable amount of Spanish and you're surprised
- 31:04Speaker 1: by it, and she you know, gives proper accentation. Like yeah,
- 31:10Speaker 1: like that's the great parts of it. Okay, okay, Vanya,
- 31:17Speaker 1: this is a very small part.
- 31:18Speaker 2: I don't have to tell you.
- 31:18Speaker 1: So we're in the middle of Vanya being like, oh, dude,
- 31:21Speaker 1: that should have no chance in hell. That is the sweaty,
- 31:25Speaker 1: weird dude that I think is my best friend that
- 31:29Speaker 1: like continually gets a more stained, gross, smelly shirt wetter
- 31:35Speaker 1: and wetter as the scene progresses, has the audacity to
- 31:39Speaker 1: tell me that he's not into me, and I'm just
- 31:41Speaker 1: going to like be like, oh okay, and then he
- 31:44Speaker 1: actually asses and he's like, well, I just really don't
- 31:45Speaker 1: want to label.
- 31:46Speaker 2: So if we can just.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Continue hanging out and I make you feel good and
- 31:50Speaker 1: we see what happens, I'm okay with that. And then
- 31:53Speaker 1: she's like, oh okay. We're like that's it, Fanya, That's
- 32:00Speaker 1: that's enough.
- 32:04Speaker 2: We don't want that for her. We don't want it
- 32:05Speaker 2: for us. We don't.
- 32:06Speaker 1: We don't, you know. We're like, you're crazy. I'll go
- 32:09Speaker 1: back you listen, dude, find someone else. I don't know, Vanya, please,
- 32:12Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. It's interesting. I think
- 32:19Speaker 1: that you would have to consider if Vanya wants to
- 32:34Speaker 1: find someone that like, loves and gets her from the
- 32:38Speaker 1: get go, or whether she wants to explore energetically like
- 32:48Speaker 1: some shifts, like for instance, my friend is doing reki
- 32:50Speaker 1: right now or reiki right now, and I'm like wondering
- 32:52Speaker 1: what that means in the sense I know what it means,
- 32:53Speaker 1: like an energetic healing situation. But I wonder if for
- 32:57Speaker 1: some people there are some you know, clogged spots or
- 33:04Speaker 1: like some areas of confusion, like or some somatic or
- 33:08Speaker 1: nervous system healing or some sort of like energenis that
- 33:13Speaker 1: like needs channel work or something. Because Vanya feels like
- 33:20Speaker 1: such a loving, open hearted person that has like a
- 33:23Speaker 1: lot of love to give.
- 33:25Speaker 2: And she's doesn't seem.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Toxically insecure where she's going to be like needy of
- 33:33Speaker 1: someone in a way.
- 33:34Speaker 2: That's just like I just want a.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Best friend that hang out to hang out with and
- 33:37Speaker 1: love like and maybe she's a little loud, or maybe
- 33:41Speaker 1: she knows she's a little intense, but like that's fine,
- 33:43Speaker 1: you know, like that's fine. My other part of talking
- 33:46Speaker 1: about the like energetic healing or the channel stuff is
- 33:49Speaker 1: you never know. This is what I'm literally wondering out loud.
- 33:53Speaker 1: If there are unseen things either to you or your body,
- 33:57Speaker 1: or your nervous system or your trauma work, or something
- 34:00Speaker 1: that keeps you from feeling something in the present moment
- 34:10Speaker 1: that would clarify who would be.
- 34:15Speaker 2: A good and or a better match for you and vice.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Versa off and or if there's something that blocks other
- 34:23Speaker 1: people from seeing your true heart because of you know
- 34:26Speaker 1: said thing.
- 34:27Speaker 2: So at this point, like when this when we come
- 34:29Speaker 2: a single life.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I would love to like see people working on themselves
- 34:34Speaker 1: in the pursuit of dating, if that's what they're doing,
- 34:37Speaker 1: which I'm assuming they are, if this is called the
- 34:38Speaker 1: single life. However, having said that, I certainly would love
- 34:42Speaker 1: one of the characters on ninety Day the single Life
- 34:46Speaker 1: to be just like fully like Tim Gunning it being
- 34:49Speaker 1: like yep, single lifing it not dealing.
- 34:52Speaker 2: With anyone, fuck them. You know.
- 34:55Speaker 1: I'm either celibate or I or I'll just do whatever.
- 34:58Speaker 2: But I'm not trying to date.
- 35:00Speaker 1: I am single, and like I am choosing this and
- 35:02Speaker 1: this is what it is, and this is my single life.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I would love that too, you know, because it does
- 35:09Speaker 1: single life does feel like a catch all for whatever
- 35:11Speaker 1: they want to do, people who can't be on happily
- 35:13Speaker 1: or after and aren't signed up for the competition of
- 35:16Speaker 1: hunt for love or whatnot.
- 35:19Speaker 2: So yeah, I hate that for Vannie.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Let's move on, kim Bali, Honey, we start and I
- 35:24Speaker 1: have a lot of pictures just spraying herself down with
- 35:27Speaker 1: that Victoria's secret Rasmataz. I don't know that just like
- 35:31Speaker 1: it is Barry, it is maybe Vanilla noted in one
- 35:37Speaker 1: or two of The Nose, probably the bottom. It is
- 35:41Speaker 1: all over us being sprayed in her bosom. I'm looking
- 35:44Speaker 1: at all her products. I'm taking it in. She's like,
- 35:46Speaker 1: you know what not back fifty five and she's not wrong.
- 35:50Speaker 2: She's not wrong.
- 35:52Speaker 1: And the next scene is that we get kim Bali
- 35:54Speaker 1: walking fabulously in this like white linen two piece number
- 35:58Speaker 1: into her friends.
- 36:01Speaker 2: We'll meet them Laura.
- 36:03Speaker 1: And JODI's bash, and they have fun bashes. They're always
- 36:08Speaker 1: throwing a fun party or two. This is a hula.
- 36:10Speaker 1: They got these lanterns. They decided to both wear matching
- 36:14Speaker 1: white triangle top spaghetti strap dresses and necklaces. They look
- 36:21Speaker 1: very ocy. I like them. I like these women a lot.
- 36:25Speaker 1: And by the way, I would totally go to their parties.
- 36:27Speaker 1: These parties look fun. Like this looks like a single party,
- 36:31Speaker 1: you know, Like in my mind when Kimberly was like,
- 36:33Speaker 1: these are my friends, I was like, is this a
- 36:35Speaker 1: singles party?
- 36:36Speaker 2: Like?
- 36:36Speaker 1: Is this a matchmaking party? A because look at these two.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I mean, if these two, these two have been in business.
- 36:43Speaker 2: To Kampa place too. These two have like a party
- 36:46Speaker 2: planning business or there's something happening. You don't come with
- 36:49Speaker 2: those matching dresses. If you're not coming to fucking make money.
- 36:53Speaker 2: I mean, you know, like on TV, I'm happy about them.
- 36:56Speaker 2: I like them.
- 36:57Speaker 1: So basically, Kimberly is getting set up. So there's a
- 37:00Speaker 1: I name Joe, and Joe I want Joe. There's a
- 37:04Speaker 1: guy named Joe, uh, and Joe is really nice. Kimberly
- 37:08Speaker 1: has heard about Joe. Joe's a little lovely gentleman. I
- 37:12Speaker 1: don't want to say little. He we don't know exactly
- 37:14Speaker 1: how tall he is. All we know is that he
- 37:16Speaker 1: is considered a short king in kim Bally's eyes, underneath
- 37:19Speaker 1: Kimberly's five nines. So and I'm five eight, so I
- 37:22Speaker 1: get a girl, I'll get it. But Kimberly's opened to him.
- 37:26Speaker 1: And here's why Joe appreciates Michael Jackson.
- 37:32Speaker 2: So win win.
- 37:33Speaker 1: When she's like, oh my god, she went from being
- 37:35Speaker 1: like I don't know about Joe.
- 37:36Speaker 2: He's nice, I does he's kind of a little short
- 37:38Speaker 2: to being like once he's like, yeah, I like Michael Jackson.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I always love Michael Jackson. She's like my short king,
- 37:45Speaker 2: my short king de bay L. She's like, so to him,
- 37:48Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god, so I love it.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Also, the what Joe says about Kim Bally is like cute,
- 37:55Speaker 1: is like indicative of someone who has spent time with
- 37:59Speaker 1: her and is actually reading her personality, and like is
- 38:03Speaker 1: part of the process, because like she first meets him,
- 38:08Speaker 1: and you know, I honestly, I'm always like, well these things,
- 38:11Speaker 1: some things feel set up and some things don't. I
- 38:13Speaker 1: do feel like this is being mildly set up, and
- 38:15Speaker 1: I think those two women are involved. But however, I
- 38:18Speaker 1: do feel like kim Bully is into him when she
- 38:20Speaker 1: first meets him. Joe comes in and he's wearing this
- 38:23Speaker 1: like blue shirt and they lay him with a matching
- 38:28Speaker 1: blue lay like that's obviously the theme.
- 38:30Speaker 2: They know what's happening, and.
- 38:32Speaker 1: So as that's happening, he says, I feel better now,
- 38:36Speaker 1: and then kim Bully, having watched all that, she's like, well,
- 38:39Speaker 1: you got late, so you s'll feel better now.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Well, yeah, Kimberly, that's what he just said.
- 38:47Speaker 1: And the way that she said that was indicative of
- 38:50Speaker 1: someone who was instantaneously nervous and kind of just said
- 38:54Speaker 1: some bullshit. And then probably either her mind was like
- 38:56Speaker 1: when I say, that's the same thing he just said,
- 38:58Speaker 1: which is true.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Again, he gets laid. He goes, I.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Feel better now, Well he just got laid, so you
- 39:07Speaker 1: should feel better now.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Yep, like I said after a pond getting laid.
- 39:14Speaker 1: That I do feel better now, like you know, okay,
- 39:21Speaker 1: but I you know, I love Kimberly and just playing around.
- 39:23Speaker 2: She is super fun.
- 39:23Speaker 1: She's snappy, like Kimberly's always been a good time, you know,
- 39:26Speaker 1: like she it's fun to hear her talk to people.
- 39:29Speaker 1: She has a good personality and it's always apparent like
- 39:33Speaker 1: it was a parent with Soldier Boy.
- 39:35Speaker 2: It's funny.
- 39:35Speaker 1: The thing about Usman is that we met Usman again
- 39:38Speaker 1: before with someone else who had a shitty personality, and
- 39:41Speaker 1: we were like, okay, well this is their situation, and
- 39:43Speaker 1: then later on we meet Kimberly and we're like, well
- 39:45Speaker 1: this person has a really great personality. Now we all
- 39:47Speaker 1: know that Usman is whatever he's been on the season,
- 39:50Speaker 1: and at this point we assume that kim Bully was
- 39:52Speaker 1: a fan of the show. This is how we first
- 39:55Speaker 1: meet her, you know, obviously slide into Usman like why Kimberly, why,
- 39:58Speaker 1: But then as the season goes on, funny and she's
- 40:00Speaker 1: smart and she like keeps in the show.
- 40:01Speaker 2: We like her relationship with Jamal.
- 40:03Speaker 1: They kind of like are sassy and funny back and forth,
- 40:07Speaker 1: like they have a she's funny in life, like she's
- 40:10Speaker 1: a witty, entertaining person, and the truth of the matter
- 40:13Speaker 1: is not a.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Lot of people are on this show, and.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Even people that are don't always lean into it or
- 40:20Speaker 1: unabashedly okay with it. They try and lean in some
- 40:23Speaker 1: other things, like, for instance, Jasmine is funny right like,
- 40:26Speaker 1: but Jasmine has so many other issues that she leads to,
- 40:29Speaker 1: like her craziness or the grabbiness or I don't know
- 40:31Speaker 1: what she wants to like pretend with Matt or the
- 40:33Speaker 1: alopecia or the body modk Like, there's so many things
- 40:35Speaker 1: with her where we can't like hang her hat and
- 40:37Speaker 1: be like super entertained by her at all times.
- 40:39Speaker 2: But Kimberly is a.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Sort of like reality star that is, and I say
- 40:46Speaker 1: star because on multiple seasons like where she is okay
- 40:50Speaker 1: just being herself and letting things be exposed and is
- 40:56Speaker 1: very real and you know, has baggage, but also is
- 41:02Speaker 1: an entertaining, fun person, not weird, not like you would
- 41:06Speaker 1: anyone having spend time with her in a waiting room
- 41:11Speaker 1: for like five minutes if she felt okay to talk,
- 41:14Speaker 1: was like happy to have that interaction, And you can't
- 41:17Speaker 1: say that like about anyone else, Like can you imagine
- 41:22Speaker 1: having any being in a waiting room and have like
- 41:23Speaker 1: an interaction with anyone else, Like you would just be like, oh,
- 41:26Speaker 1: can't wait for this to be over.
- 41:27Speaker 2: But Kimberly would be like okay.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Like I would also have an interaction with Chloe and
- 41:32Speaker 1: be like okay with it. I'm trying to think, you know,
- 41:36Speaker 1: I'm trying to think I I want someone who has
- 41:40Speaker 1: like a snappy personality, who's like witty and like gonna
- 41:43Speaker 1: say something funny, and also if I say something funny,
- 41:46Speaker 1: is going to enjoy it, and you know there.
- 41:49Speaker 2: She is okay.
- 41:50Speaker 1: So basically Joe knows it too. So Joe's like, I'll
- 41:57Speaker 1: tell you she's just like a breath of fresh air.
- 41:59Speaker 1: She's full of life, and we're like, yeah, Joe, she
- 42:01Speaker 1: is good clock Joe.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Oh Joe, you've been paying attention.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Yeah Joe, you're not like just some weird actor like you.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Because Joe could have been like I like Kimberly, she
- 42:09Speaker 1: seems nice, and we'd be.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Like, oh, Jesus, do better.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Producers, you know, but like what he says about her
- 42:16Speaker 1: is in fact her, and they like, you know, cut
- 42:17Speaker 1: to be shots of her being incredibly lovely at the party,
- 42:20Speaker 1: and you're like, yeah, exactly how Joe feels being her presence,
- 42:23Speaker 1: you know.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Great. So then we get this part, and this part, honey,
- 42:27Speaker 2: is just diabolical. Okay.
- 42:29Speaker 1: So then they put up fucking a limbo stick and
- 42:32Speaker 1: like kim Bally, your turn, honey, Hello, can you go?
- 42:35Speaker 1: And Kimberly's like, okay, I got this, I got this
- 42:38Speaker 1: all right, ladies.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 42:40Speaker 1: And she brings her friends to do it. And then
- 42:42Speaker 1: as all of these biddies go to do a limbo,
- 42:45Speaker 1: Kimberly just pretends that she can just duck under it.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Kimberly just ducks under it, like doesn't do any sort
- 42:54Speaker 1: of backband, doesn't try to do like the next thing
- 42:57Speaker 1: like look at Jody, I mean, you know, look at Laura.
- 42:59Speaker 1: They're just like, you know, do and the thing. One
- 43:00Speaker 1: of these women, I'll tell you which one, Jody the
- 43:03Speaker 1: Burnett looks just like Lynn Spears.
- 43:07Speaker 2: I'll show you again. Oh maybe not that picture as much.
- 43:10Speaker 1: This picture she looks kind of like doctor Quinn medicine woman,
- 43:13Speaker 1: and then this picture looks like Lynn Spears. Yeah, I mean, girl, Kimberly,
- 43:20Speaker 1: that's not how you limbo. You can't just like, oh yeah,
- 43:23Speaker 1: let me see if they can do it. I one.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I mean the way that Kimberly also celebrates having barely
- 43:31Speaker 1: ducked underneath that limbo stick and done it obviously the
- 43:34Speaker 1: bad way, while those other women at least had the
- 43:37Speaker 1: due diligence to like slightly lean back, as if she
- 43:40Speaker 1: Honey just won gold at the Olympics in twenty twenty six.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I mean, is a babe, No, Kimberly gotta that's how
- 43:49Speaker 1: the way that you limbo is this you, And that's
- 43:53Speaker 1: the point of it. If anyone can do what you
- 43:56Speaker 1: just did, anyone does that you thought the important You
- 44:01Speaker 1: thought the part of limbo was just duck underneath the stick.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Who could duck underneath the stick? I mean, God bless,
- 44:08Speaker 1: if you're this feels a little like nursing home style,
- 44:11Speaker 1: I mean, you know, God bless. Okay, I get it.
- 44:17Speaker 1: So basically after that, Joe's like, can I walk you
- 44:23Speaker 1: to your uber and She's like, yeah, live in the
- 44:25Speaker 1: boon docks. I'm like okay, and then as she's walking out,
- 44:28Speaker 1: her friend is like, oh, have a good night, have
- 44:32Speaker 1: fun out there, be safe, you know, as if they're
- 44:34Speaker 1: going to go home together, go somewhere else and can lose, Like,
- 44:36Speaker 1: shut up, I'm going home and made me happy. Okay,
- 44:40Speaker 1: So one more coops the dupes left, and by coops,
- 44:45Speaker 1: I mean person, g you know g no? I mean
- 44:49Speaker 1: this is a painful watch, isn't it. It's it's hard
- 44:51Speaker 1: for us to have to deal with this situation, and
- 44:54Speaker 1: yet I don't know why I have to talk about it.
- 44:55Speaker 1: So I'm going to get through as many of the
- 44:58Speaker 1: cringey parts so I can get into, like the more
- 45:00Speaker 1: talkable parts. Gino's there and Gino's like, hey, what do
- 45:03Speaker 1: you think of my toes? And Natal is like absolutely
- 45:05Speaker 1: fucking not shit about the toes. And he's like would
- 45:06Speaker 1: you Nope? He's like, suck my nope, no shit the
- 45:10Speaker 1: fuck up. She's like, don't even say it. He does,
- 45:12Speaker 1: so you know he is wanting to bait people. I
- 45:15Speaker 1: feel like this is what's happened.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Do you know? There is rage bait right?
- 45:20Speaker 1: And it feels like Geno's producers use AI and they're like,
- 45:28Speaker 1: come up with Geno rage bait scenes and they're like, okay,
- 45:33Speaker 1: what we know about geno toes bald?
- 45:36Speaker 2: Uh weird?
- 45:37Speaker 1: Weird?
- 45:38Speaker 2: Would you have to do sixual stuff? Or when he
- 45:40Speaker 2: looks to be touched like you know.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Like it's like they have a grab bag of these
- 45:45Speaker 1: weird geno games and then they're like, well, well, what
- 45:49Speaker 1: can we like shake around and put up for this episode?
- 45:53Speaker 1: So after the toe fiasco, he's like, for out of
- 45:56Speaker 1: fucking blue, He's like, hey, let me tell you this.
- 45:58Speaker 1: So obviously he was suppsed to see in the couch
- 46:00Speaker 1: and in the middle of the night he like got
- 46:03Speaker 1: an inkling to join her in her bed and she's
- 46:06Speaker 1: like in her Hart pajamas and their flannel and she
- 46:09Speaker 1: like allows this and then they just cuddle all night.
- 46:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Then in the morning he's like, I have really I
- 46:19Speaker 1: have dry skin, so can you put some lotion on
- 46:22Speaker 1: my back?
- 46:23Speaker 2: And she's like.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Yes, I'd be like no, what you can do is
- 46:27Speaker 1: get like you know, however you get the loc on
- 46:30Speaker 1: your back to usually happen. You can do it that way. Oh,
- 46:39Speaker 1: you haven't even showered, so why do you need lotion
- 46:41Speaker 1: right now? Go take a shower.
- 46:43Speaker 2: First, we put lotion on top, like he's in his shirt.
- 46:45Speaker 2: I just don't like it.
- 46:45Speaker 1: So basically, she's like, i'll tell you what my plans
- 46:49Speaker 1: are today. I'm going to do a friend's pot luck.
- 46:51Speaker 1: And he's like, well, I came to visit you, so
- 46:52Speaker 1: I guess those are my plans. She's like, well, you
- 46:54Speaker 1: have to make something, and I'm like, well, what are
- 46:56Speaker 1: you making? I don't know what she's making. Now, well,
- 47:00Speaker 1: here's the thing. We go to the friend's pot luck
- 47:02Speaker 1: and we get there. At one point there looks like
- 47:04Speaker 1: there's a baby stroller outside, just like hanging outdoors.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Now, I know there's probably not a baby in.
- 47:09Speaker 1: There, but you also might know that in Sweden or
- 47:13Speaker 1: Norway or someplace like that, like some cold place, they
- 47:16Speaker 1: have this thing where they just put babies and strollers
- 47:18Speaker 1: outside and just let them literally chill out there. I
- 47:24Speaker 1: don't mean all that, but like that's I think like
- 47:26Speaker 1: a cultural thing. Like it's just a thing where like
- 47:28Speaker 1: you know, it's like go freeze the baby outside, like
- 47:32Speaker 1: go get that baby a little cold chill. The baby
- 47:37Speaker 1: just in the baby needs a little little chill, just like,
- 47:39Speaker 1: don't let the baby back in until those cheeks are red. Honey,
- 47:43Speaker 1: you know, just like make sure there's a little frost
- 47:45Speaker 1: on that little nose, you know, like make sure there's
- 47:48Speaker 1: any little spit up it's icicled, and then you can
- 47:51Speaker 1: bring the baby back in. Uh. I know there's probably
- 47:54Speaker 1: some beautiful reason why, you know, like health reason, you know,
- 47:57Speaker 1: like cold plunge, but for a.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Baby and the air.
- 48:00Speaker 1: You know, I can't tell you, but it just when
- 48:02Speaker 1: I saw that stroller out there, maybe think of that.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 48:05Speaker 1: So they get to the place and we're like, okay,
- 48:07Speaker 1: pot luck and this is what we see. So there's
- 48:12Speaker 1: these dudes like with various TAIDI colors of black, white,
- 48:17Speaker 1: and gray around a table and there's like plastic bottles
- 48:22Speaker 1: of alcohol.
- 48:23Speaker 2: There's like a huge thing of tequila and three sad
- 48:29Speaker 2: Off brand Electrolyte.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Drinks, not even power aid I mean the saddest and
- 48:37Speaker 1: that's what they're drinking. They're drinking mixed drinks with that. Like,
- 48:39Speaker 1: oh no, what kind of potluck is this? This is
- 48:42Speaker 1: like a here's the thing, okay if you okay, I
- 48:46Speaker 1: love potlucks, Like I think it's so fun to like,
- 48:48Speaker 1: you know, like bring one thing over to like a group.
- 48:52Speaker 1: If you're gonna bring one thing over then just make
- 48:55Speaker 1: that one thing good, like if your thing is mixer
- 49:00Speaker 1: for drinks, like, don't bring that sad.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Also, there should be more. It seems like there's more
- 49:06Speaker 2: people there.
- 49:06Speaker 1: Okay, God bless so then but we also okay, so
- 49:09Speaker 1: then we get to this shot, and the shot is
- 49:10Speaker 1: Gino and you know, Natalie going to her friend's house.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Her friends have very cute pants.
- 49:15Speaker 1: I love these, like, you know, like Kirby Derby pants,
- 49:17Speaker 1: you know, I like, you know, like on a high
- 49:19Speaker 1: waist that has a belt. He has his I guess
- 49:23Speaker 1: bounty for the party. I still don't quite understand what
- 49:26Speaker 1: she's bringing other than the same bag we saw from
- 49:28Speaker 1: her daytime outfit, which is a no go. It's too
- 49:31Speaker 1: big of a bag. That's not a day time that's
- 49:34Speaker 1: that's a daytime bag. That doesn't make sense for like
- 49:37Speaker 1: a nighttime friend's potluck bag. Okay, So we find out
- 49:43Speaker 1: what Gino brought. Gino's like, you know, I used to
- 49:45Speaker 1: be a short order line cook, So I'm gonna bring
- 49:50Speaker 1: ham and cheese sandwiches.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Okay. And here's the thing. A grilled.
- 50:00Speaker 1: With ham is like a whole ass thing, very yummy,
- 50:03Speaker 1: like you know, you can literally, like you know, make
- 50:05Speaker 1: it a croked monsteward.
- 50:05Speaker 2: You know, it's like all the fancy versions of that.
- 50:07Speaker 1: But like you know, yeah, like a grilled cheese with ham,
- 50:09Speaker 1: or grilled cheese with bacon, or like tomatoes in it
- 50:12Speaker 1: or whatever fun thing like that is yummy. No, you
- 50:15Speaker 1: don't ever make that a bunch of them for a potluck,
- 50:19Speaker 1: like everyone knows, for a potluck, you make usually if
- 50:23Speaker 1: it's a dish, food dish, one big version of it,
- 50:26Speaker 1: or like you know, like a thing that is shareable
- 50:28Speaker 1: in such a way. But like, yeah, I mean, that
- 50:31Speaker 1: doesn't make any sense because you have to, you know,
- 50:33Speaker 1: arrange a bunch of like things that are hard to
- 50:37Speaker 1: do immediately at someone's house.
- 50:39Speaker 2: And here's the thing.
- 50:41Speaker 1: He pre arranged what looked like slices of bread, and
- 50:47Speaker 1: then he put the cheese and ham together and the
- 50:53Speaker 1: cheese melted. Now we're like, where's the problem. He thinks
- 50:59Speaker 1: you have to fry the ham in the nonstick skillet.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Now all of us are like, bitch, put the buttered
- 51:08Speaker 1: bread into the skillet and then put like you know,
- 51:14Speaker 1: the cheese and the tomato in there, and just keep
- 51:16Speaker 1: flipping it and make that sandwich, like that you don't
- 51:19Speaker 1: need to like fry the hold ham. The ham's gonna
- 51:22Speaker 1: get heat from cooking it, Like that makes sense. But no,
- 51:25Speaker 1: this asshole decides to like put his weird wet cheese
- 51:29Speaker 1: whiz product and the ham right on that pam with
- 51:33Speaker 1: no spray, not nothing, and it's like burning, and then
- 51:37Speaker 1: he puts it on the bread and then he feeds
- 51:39Speaker 1: it to these nice people who are like, I'm so sorry.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Is there one wet condiment in the house? Is there
- 51:48Speaker 1: a mustard? Is there some mayo? Is there salt and pepper?
- 51:52Speaker 1: There's nothing on here? This motherfucker, he is disgusting what
- 51:55Speaker 1: he makes. Everyone's so weirded out. Melanie is weirded out.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Melanie is her friend. Melanie's like, let's talk. I don't
- 52:00Speaker 1: know if I can do with this, and so she
- 52:02Speaker 1: like starts talking to him, and Gino does this thing
- 52:04Speaker 1: that Gino does a lot.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Gino likes to talk.
- 52:08Speaker 1: And then later on, like ten seconds later, realize someone
- 52:16Speaker 1: else heard the words from a different perspective, and the perspective.
- 52:21Speaker 2: Is that he's a weird asshole.
- 52:25Speaker 1: So basically they're talking and you know, he's like, yeah,
- 52:29Speaker 1: you know, I really like, Natalie, is she dating anyone?
- 52:31Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, you know, she's talks about other guys,
- 52:33Speaker 1: but you know, she never you know, brought anyone over.
- 52:35Speaker 1: It's nice to me. And she's like, are you talking
- 52:37Speaker 1: anyone as Oh, yeah, you know because of you know,
- 52:40Speaker 1: the TV show, the famous TV show I'm on. All
- 52:42Speaker 1: the women in the world know that I broke up
- 52:44Speaker 1: with Jagman and so they're all in my damn So, yeah,
- 52:46Speaker 1: I talked to all of them.
- 52:49Speaker 2: It's basically what he says to Melanie.
- 52:53Speaker 1: That's what he says, and Melanie's like, what, oh you so, yeah,
- 52:59Speaker 1: so you just talked. He's like, well, I don't mean
- 53:00Speaker 1: up with them, yes he does. He's just like, yeah,
- 53:02Speaker 1: but you know, just people hit me up an ig,
- 53:05Speaker 1: I've talked to them.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Of course. I love that. I mean I love and.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Hate the fact that they won't say the fact that
- 53:11Speaker 1: he's like a famous person on the TV show, right,
- 53:13Speaker 1: because it's just like the idea that's like, well, some
- 53:15Speaker 1: people know that I broke up with Jazmin So or
- 53:18Speaker 1: my ex, so they're in my dms because that's why
- 53:23Speaker 1: they're there. Because yeah, most people would not not touch
- 53:29Speaker 1: you with it, like a ten foot pole. That's why
- 53:30Speaker 1: you had to like gold these sugar baby dating websites.
- 53:34Speaker 2: I mean, I can't.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Imagine him his whole life having to like go on
- 53:37Speaker 1: those kind of websites to get like any sort of attention,
- 53:39Speaker 1: and then suddenly getting some attention sometimes because women want
- 53:42Speaker 1: to be famous, and that sucks.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Like there is moments in which.
- 53:48Speaker 1: Gross weird men get power and then they get to
- 53:52Speaker 1: like wield it, and it's just horrifying. I just wish
- 53:55Speaker 1: it would happen to me. I wish I would be
- 53:56Speaker 1: a gross squared man. I wish I was a gross
- 53:58Speaker 1: sword woman maybe if I am, If I am that
- 54:00Speaker 1: at some point, all I'm saying is that from how
- 54:03Speaker 1: I'm seeing the world works, I get to have a
- 54:05Speaker 1: comeuppance and then wield my power in a way that
- 54:08Speaker 1: is like my vengeance on this world. Okay, can't wait, Okay,
- 54:13Speaker 1: So just okay. Oh, I just realized. It's kind of
- 54:22Speaker 1: like basically when he says that to Melanie and then
- 54:24Speaker 1: Melanie's like, yeah, I hate I hate him, and so
- 54:26Speaker 1: then she goes and tells tells Natalie that she fucking
- 54:29Speaker 1: hates that man. Nat is like, I just want to
- 54:32Speaker 1: see what he's like, he's so charming, and Melanie's like,
- 54:36Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you. If you continue
- 54:37Speaker 1: dating him, I lose all respect for you.
- 54:41Speaker 2: He's just disgusting girl. No, have you ever had any
- 54:49Speaker 2: of that happen? I have.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I've had someone pretty much tell me, like to stop
- 54:54Speaker 1: dating someone because they don't like that person and they'll.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Lose respect for me.
- 54:59Speaker 1: I'm not saying I did or not do it, but
- 55:00Speaker 1: I it's such an interesting thing. I mean especially maybe yeah,
- 55:05Speaker 1: Like I think that it happens across the board, Like.
- 55:07Speaker 2: You know, I think that anyone can do it to anyone,
- 55:10Speaker 2: like someone who either crosses boundaries or you feel super
- 55:13Speaker 2: close with or maybe you ask or whatever. But it
- 55:16Speaker 2: is such an interesting thing, like the way that we
- 55:18Speaker 2: want people's opinions over who we are dating and in
- 55:21Speaker 2: the ways in which we don't care. Oh my goodness, gracious,
- 55:24Speaker 2: that is the end of the app.
